Jim Jordan Refers John Brennan to the DOJ for Prosecution Over His Serial Perjuries

"Though the mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceedingly fine".

Jordan's referral, sent to Attorney General Pam Bondi, alleges that Brennan "knowingly and willfully testified falsely" during a May 2023 interview with the Judiciary Committee when he claimed the CIA "was not involved at all" with the Steele dossier -- a Democrat-funded collection of false stories used to smear Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign. But a newly declassified House Intelligence Committee report contradicts that testimony, revealing the CIA worked directly with the FBI to circulate information from the dossier and that Brennan personally intervened to keep it in the intelligence community's 2017 assessment on Russian election interference.

That assessment, produced under Brennan's direction, claimed Russia sought to help Trump win -- a conclusion Trump has long dismissed as part of the "Russia hoax." According to declassified CIA memos cited by Jordan, agency analysts warned against including the dossier's unverified material. Brennan, however, insisted it remain, reportedly responding, "Yes, but doesn't it ring true?"

These fictions compiled by Hillary Clinton's Master of Conspiracies Sydney Blumenthal, and then given a Credibility Laundering through Christopher Steele -- do they ring true to the other demented partisans in this room?

Jordan's letter says that Brennan's testimony "was a brazen attempt to mislead Congress" and that the former CIA chief "intentionally distorted material facts" surrounding his actions.

Jordan also cited Brennan's 2017 testimony before the House Intelligence Committee -- when he insisted the CIA did not "rely on" the dossier -- as further evidence of a pattern of deception. Though that earlier statement falls outside the five-year statute of limitations, Jordan said Brennan's statements showed "a pattern of willingness to lie to Congress about the Steele dossier."

FDA Stayed Silent As Internal Reports About Potential Tylenol Risks Piled Up

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) defied the advice of its own drug safety experts to warn pregnant women about Tylenol for nearly a decade, internal reports and presentations obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation reveal.

FDA rank-and-file scientists repeatedly recommended the agency release information about Tylenol in pregnancy across three scientific reviews conducted in 2016, 2019, 2022 and two memos, one from the FDA's maternal health division in 2016 and one from the FDA's urological health division in 2017.

The scientific literature posits many plausible drivers of autism, the most well-established of which are genetic, and the FDA drug safety experts acknowledged that the research linking the condition to Tylenol is far from ironclad.

Still, as alarm bells rang within FDA headquarters and the boardrooms of Tylenol's manufacturers, pregnant women heard nothing from either the government or the manufacturers about the potential risks until the September announcement by President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

FDA leadership declined to update its webpage about over-the-counter painkillers in pregnancy, repeatedly falling back on language first issued in January 2015. But that statement simply acknowledged that "FDA is aware of concerns" about Tylenol and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), citing just one scientific paper.

At the urging of Trump and Kennedy, FDA finally released a nuanced statement in September cautioning pregnant women about Tylenol while acknowledging that aspirin, ibuprofen and high fevers all pose their own risks. That move was first recommended by an FDA drug safety expert nine years earlier.

The DCNF obtained the FDA documents from the law firm Keller Postman LLC, which brought a class action lawsuit against Tylenol maker Kenvue, a legally independent spinoff of Johnson & Johnson. The personal injury law firm, which often brings class action lawsuits, obtained the documents from FDA via the Freedom of Information Act.

Tylenol, a brand name for acetaminophen, first received FDA approval in 1955 before modern drug laws tightened clinical trial requirements in 1962.

Some experts argue that neurological damage occurs due to a toxic byproduct of acetaminophen called NAPQI. Babies and children with autism may struggle to metabolize the drug, resulting in higher levels of NAPQI, which kills cells.

An internal memo reveals that the agency first began examining acetaminophen in pregnancy 11 years ago, in May 2014, after an April 2014 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association raised concerns about the drug and ADHD-like behaviors, prompting its sole statement on the issue for the next decade -- an 2015 FDA webpage that acknowledging that "FDA is aware of concerns" and citing that single study.

Less than two years later, in October 2016, FDA Senior Medical Officer Andrew Mosholder had reviewed eight observational studies with seven showing an association between acetaminophen and issues including attention deficits, delayed motor development and autistic behaviors.

Mosholder's 22-page report recommended that FDA issue a nuanced warning: Tylenol in pregnancy could cause neurological harm and the drug should be used sparingly, but other painkillers are associated with more definite risks and Tylenol will sometimes be necessary to reduce fever. The report also recommended more toxicology studies -- laboratory studies designed to uncover the potential toxicity of a drug.

Mosholder declined to comment.

In January 2018, an FDA decision-making committee led by longtime Center for Drug Evaluation and Research Director (CDER) Janet Woodcock heard a presentation by Mosholder and Valerie Pratt, who oversaw the safety of over-the-counter drugs, according to the meeting minutes. By this time the scientists had reviewed 21 studies, three-fourths of which indicated a risk of Tylenol in pregnancy, the slides show.

FDA had preemptively ruled out a drug label change, but Woodcock and other FDA officials also nixed Mosholder's proposed public statement, instead postponing a decision by six months and calling for yet more studies, the meeting minutes show.

Woodcock oversaw CDER during other controversial decisions over her lengthy tenure, including the approval of OxyContin in 1996, government records show, and defended the approval as following "all applicable statutes and regulations" in a 2020 Senate letter. She also delayed a clinical warning about the risk of heart issues and the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines in 2021, according to a Senate investigation.

CDER under Woodcock had downplayed a warning flagged by Mosholder before when he warned in a Dec. 2003 report that antidepressants increased suicide rates in children, a report superiors sought to suppress.

Requests for comment from the DCNF sent to two nonprofits for which Woodcock serves on the board of directors did not receive a reply.

In October 2018, at the follow-up meeting FDA officials had called for six months earlier, the FDA's toxicology division shared their hypothesis that Tylenol could impede blood flow to the growing infant. Other details have been largely redacted in the documents obtained by the DCNF.

National Gas Price Average Falls Below $3/Gallon for First Time Since... Trump's Last Term in Office

Gas prices have dropped under $3 a gallon nationwide for the first time since 2020 -- a milestone the Trump administration is crediting to its aggressive push for American energy dominance and expanded domestic production.

According to GasBuddy's head of petroleum analysis Patrick De Haan, the national average hit $2.99 on Monday -- the earliest in years that prices have fallen below the $3 mark. "Gas prices have finally fallen below $3 per gallon nationally -- the earliest date we've seen a $2.99 national average since 2020, when COVID was the primary driver of low prices," De Haan said, adding that 35 states now report averages under $2.99 per gallon. He noted that GasBuddy even recorded a $1.99 cash price in Evans, Colorado, with Oklahoma and Texas stations close behind.

De Haan attributed part of the trend to increased oil production by OPEC+, but many in Washington are pointing to President Trump's pro-energy policies as the real catalyst. The White House released a statement Monday touting the achievement as a direct result of Trump's commitment to "unleashing American energy production" and reversing what it called "years of Biden-induced economic disaster."

During Biden's tenure, gas prices soared to record highs, peaking at $4.60 a gallon in 2022 -- a 45 percent increase from when he took office. At the time, Biden blamed Russia's invasion of Ukraine for the surge.

The Hill: Democrats Fear the Backlash from Their Far-Left Antifa/Trantifa Base If They Re-Open the Government

And at least one Biden judge thinks that any lefty claiming to be a transgender can attempt assassinations and only get a wrist slap as punishment, so this isn't the kind of smoke Democrats are willing to face.

Some Democrats skeptical about their leadership's hard-line stance against reopening the federal government privately acknowledge that they fear getting "hammered" by their liberal base if they vote for a Republican funding bill.

Grassroots Democrats frustrated with the Trump administration have been demanding a fight, and on Saturday millions showed up at "No Kings" demonstrations across the country to protest the president's government.

In that context, Democrats know they will get hit hard by a number of voices on the left if they do not get something for opening the government.

"People are going to get hammered" if they vote for the House-passed bill to reopen the government and keep it funded through Nov. 21, said one Democratic senator who requested anonymity to talk candidly about their party.

A second person familiar with the political dynamics within the Senate Democratic caucus, who spoke with The Hill ahead of the "No Kings" protests, said centrist senators are fearful of breaking with leaders while party activists are planning the anti-Trump rallies.

There are no centrist Democrat Senators but let's settle on the term "professional managerial class establishment leftwingers."

"We would have enough votes" to reopen the government "if people were not terrified of getting the guillotine," the second person said.

Note that Antifa (not just an idea) brings guillotines to its various riots and insurrections so I don't think this person is speaking entirely metaphorically.

On Thursday, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.) became the fourth Democrat to signal unease with the party's staunch opposition to what in normal times would be relatively uncontroversial funding bills when she voted Thursday to advance an $852 billion defense funding bill.

Liberal activists called the votes to fund the Department of Defense and to reopen the government without Republican concessions on health care "baffling" and a "mistake."

Fetterman pushed back against that criticism and defended his vote for the defense spending bill as motivated by concern for military families who might have to rely on food banks if they stop getting paychecks.

"I voted yes to pay our service members. That's service members over party. That's not baffling to me," he said.

All of this is music to the ears of Republicans, who want centrist Democrats to feel the pain.

Hakeem Jeffries, nephew of extreme anti-white racist and black supremacist Leonard Jeffries, of course objects to paying our troops while they remain on guard and on duty.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Monday that he opposed standalone legislation to pay troops and federal employees reporting to work during the funding lapse. Democratic lawmakers are showing few signs of ending the 20-day long shutdown despite millions of federal employees facing mounting financial stress due to the prospect of missing their next paycheck.

"It appears to be more like a political ploy giving Donald Trump discretion over which employees should be compensated and which employees should not be compensated," Jeffries said during a press conference in the U.S. Capitol. "All employees should be compensated, and that will happen when we reopen the government."

Jeffries isn't afraid of any blowback from the angry Navy personnel serving on the high seas. Word on the street is that Hakeem Jeffries has never flinched from taking on salty seamen with gusto.

Kash Patel: The FBI Is "On the Verge" Of Mapping Antifa's and Trantifa's Funding and Command Structures

FBI Director Kash Patel tells Just the News that the bureau is "on the verge" of unmasking the command structure and financing for anarchist groups like Antifa that have unleashed unrest around America and has also identified potential new criminal activity related to the abuse of federal law enforcement and intelligence.

He said there are indications that some support may come from overseas enemies and U.S. nonprofit groups that have tax exemptions from the IRS.

"Look, the thing I can tell you is that money doesn't lie, and the thing we're doing at the FBI is following the money," Patel explained. "And thanks to President Trump, we now have Antifa designated, rightfully so, as a domestic terror organization. And we have had multiple investigations going on."

Patel's comments came as a federal grand jury on Wednesday night indicted two people allegedly tied to Antifa on terrorism charges for an attack in July on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Texas.

The two individuals, identified as Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts, were charged with providing material support for terrorism, attempting to murder federal and assisting officers and discharging firearms during attempted murders.

That indictment undercut the argument made by many Democrats and even some journalists who have argued that Antifa is not a group, but rather just a mere ideology. Most notably, Keith Ellison, attorney general of Minnesota, recently said that "nobody even knows what it is," but conservative pundits were quick to point to receipts, such as Powerlineblog.com, which published a photo of Ellison proudly holding a book in 2018 titled, "Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook."

"Someone is paying for this. These are organized acts of violence, fully funded by people who don't even live necessarily in these communities, showing up in the dozens with the same placards, the same helmets, the same riot gear. Someone's paying for it, and we're on the verge of finding that out next to these new authorities," he added.

The FBI's top boss detailed that these probes have found fascinating connections, including between traditional anarchist groups like Antifa and transgender activist groups that are incubating in places like social media platforms favored by gamers.

Patel confirmed that he is similarly concerned that foreign enemies from Iran, China, Cuba and Venezuela may also be involved in creating a toxic brew of radicalization in this network.

He tells people to be "patient" about the pace of the prosecution of the Democrat Deep State government-weaponizers.

"We are looking at so many different leads on criminal activity by those who are in positions of power, and we're not going to stop until every single one of those is fully exposed," Patel said during a wide-ranging interview this week on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show.

When asked whether more indictments against those accused of weaponizing government may be ahead, he said: "the documents are provided either to Congress or the courts of law and we make every referral we can under the Department of Justice.

"These indictments that you've seen, and the ones that you're going to see coming up here in this near future, are just the beginning," he added.

"I have to remind the audience of one thing. Everybody's like, it's seven months. What have you guys been doing? Well, they spent 20 years building this diseased temple of corruption," he said. "It takes a little bit of time to defeat it and beat it down. I'm not asking you to trust me. I'm asking you to look at the work the men and women of the FBI have done so far in these seven, eight months, and just imagine what we're going to do come the year's end."

Speaking of Antifa: the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overruled yet another Antifa Judge who tried to protect her Antifa allies from the National Guard.

After years of unrest and political defiance, a federal appeals court on Monday cleared President Donald Trump to send in the National Guard -- a major legal win that shatters a lower court's block and hands the White House control over a city Democrats let spiral into chaos.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, long regarded as one of the nation's most liberal benches, ruled 2-1 in favor of the president, overturning one of two temporary restraining orders that had halted the Guard's deployment. The majority opinion, written by Judges Ryan Nelson and Bridget Bade concluded that the president likely acted within his authority under 10 U.S.C. §12406(3), which allows the federalization of the National Guard when "the President is unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States." "After considering the record at this preliminary stage, we conclude that it is likely that the President lawfully exercised his statutory authority," the judges wrote.

During oral arguments, Nelson acknowledged that critics feared potential misuse of the Guard but said the court found "no evidence of that." The lone dissenter sided with Oregon officials who accused Trump of political grandstanding. That argument mirrored an earlier decision by a Portland district judge who branded Trump's actions "untethered to reality" and accused him of blurring "the line between civil and military power." The White House, in a sharp response, said it was the judge who was "untethered in reality," vowing to defend the president's constitutional authority.

Oregon Assistant Attorney General Stacy Chaffin had argued that Trump exaggerated the violence in Portland and that the protests did not amount to a "rebellion." But Trump's team countered that the city's years of rioting, vandalism, and assaults on law enforcement more than met the legal threshold for federal action.

Woke Cincinnati Chief of Police Suspended As She's Investigated for Incompetence

This was the woke Karen charmer -- who of course looks like a grade school librarian who spends her weekends playing semi-pro roller derby -- whose response to video of a group of blacks beating down a white guy and kicking him in the head even when he was unconscious was to scold the media for informing the public about the attack and making her look like she wasn't in control.

She has been suspended while the police conduct an internal investigation about her ability to lead the force.

Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) Chief Teresa Theetge, who scolded people for sharing a viral video of a massive downtown brawl, was placed on leave Monday amid an internal investigation, according to multiple reports.

In July, video footage circulated online capturing a massive brawl at Elm and Fourth Streets, which showed a group of people violently attacking a man and woman. According to WLWT5, a local affiliate of NBC, Theetge has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an "internal investigation on the effectiveness of her leadership in the Cincinnati Police Department," with Assistant Chief Adam Hennie named interim chief.

Following the incident, Theetge accused social media users and journalists of misrepresenting the viral footage, claiming it lacked "context." The now former police chief received widespread backlash for the remarks and remained in the spotlight as four former Cincinnati Police Department officers sued the city for alleged workplace discrimination against white males.

The viral video showed the fight beginning with four men, one of whom was seen repeatedly being stomped. A woman, identified as Holly, was later seen being punched by a man, appearing to lose consciousness and left lying in the street.

In August, Holly told Fox News that CPD officers failed to take her name or statement after she was knocked out, and alleged police didn't interview anyone at the scene. She claimed she saw officers "leaning up against their police car" with their "arms crossed."

And in more gross miscarriage of justice news: Chip Roy has moved to impeach the ditzy DEI judge who gave Bret Kavanaugh's would-be assassin an unlawfully low sentence because he's trans and being trans gives you license for several free murders, as we're finding out.

Congressman Chip Roy on Monday filed articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman, who sentenced Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's attempted assassin to only eight years in prison -- significantly lower than what federal sentencing guidelines and prosecutors called for.

Nicholas Roske, a 29-year-old trans-identifying man who now goes by Sophie, was sentenced October 3 for attempting to kill the Supreme Court justice in 2022.

In an exclusive statement to The Daily Wire, Roy said Boardman "deserves to be impeached for her absurd eight-year-sentence."

"Our nation's judicial system is structured to administer proper and equal treatment under the law; it is not a system where a member of the Judiciary is to allow their personal feelings or political ideology to influence their decision-making -- oftentimes resulting in more criminals on the street," the Texas Republican said.

Roske faced up to life in prison under federal sentencing guidelines. Prosecutors asked for 30 years.

Roy, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said the judge "unequivocally based this weak sentence on the attempted assassin's 'gender identity,' as the attempted assassin expressed that he views himself as a woman."

"Instead of doing what the Judiciary calls for and sentencing this man to the base 30-year sentence recommended by the Department of Justice, Judge Boardman purposefully allowed this man off easy," Roy said.

The Daily Wire previously reported Boardman, a Joe Biden appointee to Maryland federal court, acknowledged there was "a whopping 22-year difference" between that and the minimum of 30 years called for by federal sentencing guidelines.

Proving that #NotAllWomen are woke incompetents, Jeanne Pirro announced charges against two additional carjackers who beat up "Big Ballz" when he stopped in to prevent them from stealing a woman's car.

Yesterday I wrongly reported that she had brought additional charges against the Innocent Babies Who Didn't Do Nuffin and were given no time in jail at all. I misread the report. She brought charges against additional suspects, not additional charges against the suspects a woke judge already set loose on the streets.

These "teens" are 18 and 19. Also known as "adult men," at least outside of a left-wing Soros Court.

Oh -- and these "teens" left the crime scene to perpetrate another brutal attack on an entirely different victim.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has charged two of the young thugs whose attack on Edward "Big Balls" Coristine made headlines two months ago.

Soon after two of the teens who mobbed Coristine in a robbery attempt received only probation from a woke judge, Pirro charged two other criminal teens with multiple crimes. One of these is Lawrence Cotton-Powell, a serial criminal repeatedly arrested and convicted on robbery charges this year but always released again by woke D.C. judges, despite requests to the contrary from Pirro's office. Cotton-Powell not only viciously attacked Coristine, but participated in another robbery that same night when he nearly killed Ethan Levine. Both could have been avoided had the judges not favored Powell.

Pirro emphasized "the need for accountability among young offenders in the district," arguing that "this case underscores the escalating challenges that we face in confronting crime in Washington, D.C." On August 3, at approximately 2:53 a.m. at the U Street corridor and 14th Street, "which is a very popular hangout nightlife area," per Pirro, Ethan Levine, a 22-year-old, and several of his friends "were standing outside a Sunoco gas station. They were approached by a large group of teens, individuals who confronted them and began to assault them. Today, we are announcing that Lawrence Cotton-Powell, who is 19 years of age, along with Anthony Taylor, who is 18 years of age, are now charged with assaulting Levine."

The two criminals stomped on Levine's head. When Levine was able to get up temporarily, the mob of criminals "chased him and got him down again. They continued to attack Levine while he was on the ground, and then proceeded to rob him of his sneakers and his watch."

The teen criminals, elated at their bloody attack, "walked in the direction of where another crime occurred within minutes." Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old DOGE employee, "was walking a young woman to her car" when he was approached by the mob of criminals, Pirro said.

Coristine pushed the young woman into the car and protected her from the group so she was able to lock herself in. "He was then attacked by multiple suspects, who then punched him repeatedly, causing significant injuries to him," Pirro stated.

In happier news, the pair of Gentle Giants and/or attempted murderers are thinking about becoming rappers and enrolling in CUNY.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

The conventional wisdom is that the soon-to-be-NYC Mayor, Zohran Mamdani is an unrepentant communist who will bring the societal havoc that is part and parcel of socialism to NYC's streets.

Except...it's already there. The NYC council is probably more left than Mamdani, and the city's crime policies have been destroyed by a combination of leftist mayors and leftist governors. Criminals roam NYC's streets with impunity, and they have for a very long time. That the city hasn't descended into anarchy like Chicago and Oakland and Memphis and Detroit and Baltimore and New Orleans (see a pattern?) is the remnants of four terms of mayors who took public safety seriously. But that is rapidly eroding, and the coming election will not change NYC's trajectory.

NY 'justice' is now a revolving door for serial violent perps -- and Zohran Mamdani will make it WORSE

All this is the fruit of a half-decade of misguided criminal-justice reforms and a political culture that produces soft-on-crime judges — both of them the product of the progressive “decarceral” movement that insists jail and prison are the wrong approach to even serial violent criminals, even as it offers no better way to protect the public.

What is even more problematic is that the conventional wisdom is ignoring the 800 pound gorilla in the mosque: Mamdani is an Islamist. He comes from a family of Islamists, and he embraces the goals of Islam, which is the creation of a world-wide Caliphate. His communism is a tool with which to bring sharia to the ignorant masses, and that is more dangerous than an incremental shift to the left for NYC. He will not defend the large Jewish community of NYC from the predatory anti-Semites who see Jews as fair game. He will shift the tone of the city administration to hyper-sensitivity to "anti-Muslim" rhetoric and behavior (which is a vanishingly small problem), and he will cheerfully allow sharia-compliant rules to ooze into city policies.

And of course he will bring his lunatic foreign policy to New York City's streets. He claims that he will arrest the prime minister of Israel if he ever comes to NYC, under the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant. The small issue with that is: the United States is not a party to the ICC, so its warrants have no force of law in America. Will he also remove police protection from Jewish organizations and Israeli diplomatic facilities? Will he be antagonistic to traditional Christian organizations?

Islam has a single goal, and its adherents are single-minded in its pursuit. Mamdani is simply an Islamist under cover of communism, using the useful idiots of the left to further his Islamist goals.

It is tremendously destructive to have sharia-compliant cities in America. Dearborn MI, and Paterson NJ are small, but NYC is the largest city in the nation and will have a commensurate influence over policy and tone for the nation's cities.

That is an unalloyed bad thing, and the next four years will be a struggle to combat encroaching Islam.

Good morning kids. For a tyrannical king, Donald Trump gets failing marks. Surely the corpses of the protesters would be stacked at least 15 feet high in DC and everywhere else the rent-a-mobs and the braindead geriatric hippies who shrieked loudest and shrillest appeared.

No kings? More like no young people.

On Saturday, several so-called “No Kings” protests took place across the country. The protests looked more like an AARP meeting, with NBC Boston perhaps encapsulating the state of the protests best: “This is an older crowd … A lot of white hair. You see Q-Tips as we used to call them in the business … not a lot of young people.”

Then again, as commenter MP4 once sagely quipped at the beginning of the Trump = Hitler stupidity all those years ago now, "If Trump was a fraction of the Nazi the left claims he is they'd all be smoke up a chimney by now."

All of the violence and tyranny comes from one direction and one direction only — the Left, meaning Democrats/Socialists and their ilk. Those who seek our enslavement and/or destruction. The ones who shriek loudest and shrillest about the supposed preservation of our precious democracy, and who use fists, bricks, firebombs and guns as the expression of their yearning for universal brotherhood. Long before any of the aforementioned can harm us, we'll all be choking on our own vomitus.

There isn't a dump truck full of flaming horse shit big, fiery and rancid enough to drown this horrendous zombie in. Rhetorically-speaking of course! /sarc. May the Good Lord turn him into a chandelier so he can swing by day and burn by night.

Meh, let him rattle his dentures as President Trump is winning the battle over the Schumer shakedown/shutdown handily.

On a much more positive note:

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland has been under near-constant siege for months, as Antifa, Trantifa, and other radical leftists violently harass and even assault agents and federal property. Trump wanted to send in military backup, and this time, the legal decision went his way.

And please break the back of Antifa and whoever and whatever is backing them.

US Attorney Lindsey Halligan Fires Two More Prosecutors, Alledging Unauthorized Leaks to Press

President Donald Trump's hand-picked interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan has fired more senior prosecutors from the Eastern District of Virginia office, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

Beth Yusi and Kristin Bird were no longer with the office as of Friday. Yusi has been with the Department of Justice since 2007. One source said that Halligan believed the attorneys to be leaking "unauthorized" information to the press. The other source added that they received termination letters.

CNN has reached out to Yusi and Bird for comment.

Yeah I'll bet.

Halligan has moved quickly to assert her authority over the office, with several recent firings and departures, and she has become personally involved in courtroom proceedings -- which is unusual for a US attorney --in the recent indictments of Trump foes James Comey and Letitia James.

The move indicates a deepening split between Halligan, who leads the powerful office, and its roster of experienced prosecutors.

The Trump DOJ's slow-motion Saturday Night Massacre

The departures mark the latest in a string of resignations and firings in the Eastern District of Virginia in less than a month.

CNN reported earlier this week that Maggie Cleary, the senior Justice Department prosecutor who briefly led EDVA, had been removed from the office, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The first Trump-appointed US attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, Erik Siebert, resigned under pressure from Trump, as resistance in the office built around charging Comey at the end of September.

FBI Now Investigating a "Hunting Stand" With a Clear Line of Fire to Air Force One's Landing Strip at Palm Beach Airport

What are these youthful No Kings Q-tip scamps up to now?

The US Secret Service is investigating what could be a sniper's nest or a hunting stand near an area where President Trump's Air Force One has recently been kept at Palm Beach International Airport, according to sources.

The suspicious stand, found Thursday, is in a tree and within the line of sight of the section of the airport where Trump exits the presidential jet, and was described to The Post by law enforcement sources as an odd collection of pipes.

There was no ammunition or explosives found, but it raised the service's alarm.

Authorities do not know yet whether it is a hunting stand or merely junk in a tree -- or has a more nefarious purpose, sources said.

The area could be used by hunters who go after invasive green iguanas, the sources added.

"Prior to the president's return to West Palm Beach, USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone," FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News, which first reported the story.

The investigation is more of a precaution, the sources said.

The Winnebago County Democratic Party will no longer host a table at the Oshkosh Farmers Market as incendiary rhetoric against Trump and his allies has ramped up since the Republican returned to the White House this year.

The latest instance of menacing words came when a volunteer handed out the hateful bracelet to an 8-year-old child, who then showed it to their mother on Sunday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Local mother Katy Neubauer called the bracelet "hate speech" against the president.

The child's mother, Katy Neubauer, was left stunned by the bracelet and dropped it back in the basket at the committee's table, which also had other anti-Trump material, according to the newspaper.

"It's hate speech. I mean, it's literally wishing death on somebody, which isn't appropriate in any scenario," the outraged mom told Fox 11 News.

Oshkosh Farmers Market manager Michelle Schmid-Schultz told the station it was the local Democratic committee that handed out the bracelets, which yielded about 10 complaints from patrons and broke market rules.

She said local party officials and the market agreed that the Winnebago Dems won't be back for the final two markets wrapping up the summer season.

The DOJ's Civil Rights Division (CRD) under former Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke consulted MASSA groups to help counter "backlash" against their communities, comparing it to the aftermath of 9/11.

Former President Joe Biden's CRD "essentially functioned as an arm of leftist groups," American First Legal (AFL) President Gene Hamilton, whose organization acquired the documents through public records requests, told the DCNF.

"The Biden Department of Justice was singularly focused on advancing a radical, weaponized agenda instead of protecting the American people," Hamilton said.

In a fiery Truth Social post Friday night, Trump tore into Massie, calling him a "Weak and Pathetic RINO" who routinely sides with Democrats against America First priorities. "Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, a Weak and Pathetic RINO from the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, a place I love, and won big SIX TIMES, must be thrown out of office, ASAP!" Trump wrote. The president praised Gallrein as a "true America First Patriot," highlighting his background as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and fifth-generation Kentucky farmer. "A Brave Combat Veteran, Ed knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Defend our Country, Support our Military/Veterans, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH," Trump said, adding that Gallrein "will fight tirelessly to Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment."

Trump also made clear that Gallrein's experience as a businessman and farmer makes him the kind of results-driven leader Congress needs. On the sidelines in Egypt, Trump gave weaselly Emmanuel Macron a bone-crusher handshake that lasted an excruciating 26 seconds, as the French president tried not to wince.

Trump also delivered one of the most humiliating political moments ever captured on video to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

"Where is the United Kingdom? Where's my friend? Come here," Trump said as the delighted PM bounced forward to join him at the podium. But Trump just shook his hand and said, "It's very nice that you're here," before turning his back and continuing his speech as Starmer slunk back to his seat in shame.

That humiliation of Starmer is big news in the UK. Treating Starmer as a second-rater confirms the UK's status as a second-rater country (and fading fast).

It may have been an inadvertent snub, or it may have been one of the calibrated social maneuvers that Trump plays like a Stradivarius while acting oblivious.

An inadvertent snub is much worse than a calculated one. At least with a calculated snub, the person snubbing you thought about you ahead of time.

With an inadvertent snub, they never thought of you at all.

Trump's dominant energy is a welcome shield to ward off the circling sharks salivating over the recent enfeeblement of the United States by a string of weak and feckless leaders.

How far this country has come in just a year. It used to be when we saw these Eurofops confabbing with an American president, that was Joe Biden, chronically tardy, forgetting photo ops (or faux-humbly standing in the back row), getting lost, tripping, wandering off and telling tall tales.

How they must have laughed when he kept repeating the brag, "America is back, stronger than ever."

Biden billed himself as a foreign policy expert, yet he made a mess of everything.

By the time he left, two major wars had exploded, China was emboldened, and he had left the Taliban $7 billion in military equipment after his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In eight months, Trump has upended the old world order, in trade, in war and peace, and in telling the Europeans to start paying for their own defense.

No lies detected.

One sign was Brandi Kruse, a social media "citizen journalist" invited to the recent Antifa roundtable at the White House, who described herself as a recovered TDS sufferer.

Covering left-wing riots in Seattle the past five years had flipped her.

Now she says she is "happier, healthier, more successful," and even "a little more attractive."

Let's hope shrugging off Trump Derangement Syndrome proves the same for the country.

Read the whole thing. I think they're going to get crazier and crazier until they encourage another assassin. Only after a huge wave of national revulsion will they begin attempting to hide their insanity.

It won't cure them, of course. But they'll be less eager to show their florid mental illness publicly.

Now Editor in Chief of CBS, Bari Weiss Takes Her First Woke Scalp

The head of CBS News' standards and practices unit -- who presided over some of the network's recent controversial, woke reporting -- is out as new boss Bari Weiss looks to bring more balance to the left-leaning network.

Claudia Milne, who ran the division responsible for the moral, ethical and legal implications of CBS programming, is the first senior executive to leave the network since Weiss arrived as editor in chief earlier this month.

Although Milne's job had been "slowly phased out," a CBS source called her departure "significant."

"She was part of the woke mob at CBS News. It shows an editorial shift in how CBS will operate," the person said, speculating that "this is Bari's first scalp."

Milne, who oversaw her unit since 2021, played a pivotal role in a host of eyebrow-raising decisions. Those ranged from coverage of the transgender Nashville, Tenn., shooter and spiking an Elon Musk interview to the network's recent reporting on the Israel-Hamas conflict, among other issues.

As previously reported by The Post, in 2023, Milne and then-news division president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews banned staffers from using the word "transgender" when reporting on the Nashville shooter.

The decision sparked outrage at the network because police working the case had identified the killer, Audrey Hale, as a transgender woman. Sources said Ciprian-Matthews and Milne spent 15 minutes telling staffers not to report Hale's identity because it may not be relevant to the shooter's motive.

"This is absurd because the police identified Hale as transgender," a CBS insider said at the time "If the cops didn't address it, maybe you could avoid it, but withholding information is not journalism."

Milne was also one of the executives who blocked former CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge from interviewing Musk in 2023, The Post has learned. Herridge declined to comment.

Another surprising moment in which Milne played a part was last year's criticism of "CBS Mornings" co-host Tony Dokoupil after he grilled author Ta-Nehisi Coates over his one-sided polemic against Israel, which the writer compared to an "apartheid" state.

Then-news division President Wendy McMahon and her number two Adrienne Roark said Dokoupil's interview did not meet the "editorial standards" of the network during a staff meeting last year, citing a lack of neutrality and objectivity.

Take a guess what she looks like.

Stahl was slammed after she asked former hostage Keith Siegel if Hamas terrorists starved him on purpose or if they just did not have any food to hand out.

Seigel, who spent 484 days in captivity, replied: 'No, I think they starved me, and they would often eat in front of me and not offer me food.'

Sens. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) and Chris Murphy (D., Conn.) passionately defended the anti-Trump No Kings rally in Washington, D.C., this weekend against allegations that it will attract Hamas sympathizers and other far-left radicals. But one of the senators' fellow speakers has praised Hamas's "resistance" against Israel, cheered the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, referred to conservative activist Charlie Kirk as a "bitch" after his assassination last month, and expressed her desire for "the west" to "fall."

Sanders pushed back earlier this week against House Speaker Mike Johnson (R., La.), who predicted that "Hamas supporters," "antifa types," and "Marxists" will be prevalent at the event. In a video posted to X, Sanders said No Kings is "not a 'hate America' rally."

"Quite the contrary; it is a love America rally," said Sanders.

Murphy echoed those remarks, calling Johnson's sentiments "ridiculous, un-American, and unpatriotic" and said the Republican must "hate free speech."

But Sanders and Murphy, billed as the headline speakers of the No Kings event, will appear on the same stage as Afeni Evans, a Washington, D.C.-based activist who embraces many of the causes Johnson identified.

Organizers list Murphy and Evans as among the star speakers at Saturday's "No Kings" protest in Washington, D.C.

Evans, who No Kings organizers list as an "impacted activist" over her arrest in August for evading subway fare, has condoned or downplayed various acts of political violence. She mocked calls for sympathy for Kirk, whose alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, embraced leftist politics and pro-LGBT causes.

"So if you want me to feel bad for that bitch, I can't. I won't. I can't," said Evans, an avowed member of the LGBT community.

She's expressed support for the attempt on Trump's life and lamented that the shooter missed.

"While we all may celebrate and make jokes about this moment, be very careful about what you put on the internet," she said in an Instagram video on the day of the Trump shooting. "We live in the most fascistic country in the fucking world."

"Missing is nasty work tho," she wrote on the post.

She often attacks Israel, which she refers to as "the imaginary state," while defending Hamas's invasion of the Jewish state on Oct. 7, 2023, as a justifiable act of resistance.

In a video on Oct. 7, 2024, the one-year anniversary of the attack, Evans said "occupied people have a right to self defense." In a video the next day, she called the Hamas attack an act of "resistance," while also mocking Trump's injury in the assassination attempt as a "little ear piercing."

Propagandists for the Soros-funded rally claim that "millions" showed up, but we see in the biggest cities only 4-5,000 people showed up, and in smaller cities like Iowa City, the number was in the low hundreds.

During a live Newsmax broadcast from the National Mall, correspondent Alana Austin found herself face to face with exactly the kind of protester too stupid to realize they've said too much. The woman, sporting pink hair and clutching signs with Antifa imagery, identified herself as an "anti-fascist" but swore she wasn't formally part of "Antifa." Sure.

What came next was the real kicker. When Austin asked about the protest's peaceful vibe, the woman didn't hesitate. "We've all been told to be peaceful," she explained matter-of-factly. "We've had training on how to be peaceful and to deescalate."

Training.

As in organized, structured instruction on how to behave at a protest.

Austin didn't get the chance to follow up on who exactly provided this training or which organization bankrolled it, but the admission alone punctures the myth that these movements are leaderless and organic. When the protester was asked to show her Antifa-marked sign more clearly, she refused. Funny how that works.

Organizers included members of the Democratic Socialists of America and an assortment of other left-wing activist groups. And that's what really gets me about it--the structured coordination lurking beneath it. The protester's casual mention of training contradicts activists' favorite talking points that the people are "rising up" against Trump. If you're being paid and trained to be a protester, you're not a protester, you're a contractor.

That said, the good thing about this is that they were trained to be peaceful. It's a pleasant change from the rioting, violence, and destruction that we've grown used to from anything associated with Antifa. What people are noticing beyond the sparse attendance is how old the attendees are. I wouldn't crack on anyone for being old, now that I'm joining their ranks, but it's hard to not notice that the "Party of Youth" now has an average age of around 65.

Just old smelly white hippies as far as the eye can see.

Even an NBC "reporter" admitted the truth: There weren't many people attending the rally, and there was a "lot of white hair." The "Reporter" referred to the white-haired oldsters as "Q-tips."

Trump & Rubio Prevent UN’s Global Climate Tax on Shipping; “Principled Free Traders” Are Mute About Stopping this Tax on Consumers

Much gratitude to President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio for once again putting Americans first, and for also striking another huge blow against the climate hoax and the global “net zero” agenda.

Trump and Rubio not only refused American participation in a proposed “global emissions tax” on shipping that was being pushed by the UN and all the usual globalists, but Trump and Rubio also prevented the proposed tax from being implemented altogether. Team America made it explicitly clear that if the “international community” was going to compel Americans to pay tithes and offerings carbon taxes in service to the apocalyptic climate religion, then the U.S. would impose harsh penalties on those countries voting against us. The international community backed down. As Steve Milloy tweeted about this, “Better than merely not signing a UN climate treaty is punishing countries that do sign. Thank you, President Trump.”

The proposed emissions tax would have increased shipping costs by as much as 10% according to the Trump administration. That is equivalent to a 10% tariff on all goods shipped by ocean carrier.

It’s also noteworthy that the “principled free traders” who incessantly criticize Donald Trump’s America-first tariffs as being a “tax on consumers” are curiously silent about Trump’s success in preventing this global carbon tax from being imposed on shipping. The proposed tax would have been a clear-cut tax on consumers. But as I type this piece on October 19th, I don’t see a single story in National Review crediting President Trump for killing this tax, nor do I see any tweets from the “free traders” I often highlight who incessantly go on Twitter/X to denounce Donald Trump’s tariffs as being a “tax on consumers.” It’s almost as if they are simply America-last globalists who reflexively oppose Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. Therefore, when their friends in the “international community” want to impose a tax that hurts Americans, these anti-tariff “free traders” stand down due to their hatred of Trump and his voters.

Or perhaps, they’re actually being consistent. The proposed emissions tax would also be the equivalent of imposing a 10% tariff on U.S. exports. The unilateral free traders who oppose Trump’s import tariffs have always made it clear that they are supportive of foreign trade barriers and tariffs being imposed on U.S. exports, because that helps put Americans out of work in service to offshoring American manufacturing. This emissions tax would have hurt American exports in the same way.

A global tax on shipping emissions won’t take effect after pressure from the Trump administration to abandon the climate activist-fueled proposal.

“This is another HUGE win for [Trump],” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. “Thanks to his leadership, the United States prevented a massive UN tax hike on American consumers that would have funded progressive climate pet projects. Our country will continue to lead the way and put America FIRST.”

Last week, the Trump administration warned that the tax could increase shipping costs by up to 10% and said that it was considering a number of retaliatory actions for countries that support the measure. These actions included investigating countries pursuing anti-competitive practices, imposing visa restrictions and increasing processing fees, and placing additional port fees and commercial penalties.

Donald Trump correctly called the proposed tax on shipping emissions a “green scam” while threatening retaliatory tariffs on those countries who would try to impose this tax on us:
