Plus: The Fake Conservative Party, UK Branch, Gets Rekt In Elections

Polling just closed in the UK. They're going to announce the exit polls any minute. I'll post a link when they do.

Ooof-- Labor expected to take 410 seats. The Fake Conservatives, who went into the election with 350 seats, will fall to 130.

Reform is only projected to pick up 13 seats.

Scotland's SNP, which used to be the party of Scottish independence but was transformed by Nicola Sturgeon and her racist Muslim successor into the party of shaming white people and trans extremism, will drop to 10 seats. It had had 43 seats, and the great majority of the 59 Scottish seats.

I heard that the Fake Conservative Party promised that immigration would drop to 10,000 or so per year. Last year: 600,000.

This had to be done. They had to be destroyed.

From andycanuck: Time to say goodbye.

The Morning Report — 7/4/24

canieplebnista.jpg

Good Morning Kids. A very happy and blessed Independence Day to you all. America as it was founded and intended is on the verge of disappearing forever. The fact that it still resonates, or at least exists to a certain extent in the hearts and minds of a significant segment if not the majority of the citizenry is a miracle in and of itself.

If we want a democracy project, might I suggest it begins right here at home. And no, not the one the Left keeps yammering on about if they lose power and influence.

We need a renaissance. But before that comes a revolution. Or the re-establishing of the republic that was intended after the one 248 years ago.

It's too damned painful to contemplate what has been lost, and what will be required to even begin to take the first steps to try and restore it.

God bless you all. Have a great day. And God bless America.

Abraham Lincoln's Prayer For The Nation

Almighty God, Who has given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable ministry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people, the multitude brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with Thy spirit of wisdom those whom in Thy name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Thy law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in Thee to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Colugo Cafe

cutegoat.jpg

Hippo gliding through the water with the grace of Jill Biden pandering to Mexicans.

This shark just saw Jaws and was inspired.

Feeding dumplings to some good boys.

There are crocodile delays on the highway tonight.

Towering sequoias.

Duck love.

How a starfish walks. The answer may surprise you!

Cool sheep.

Magnificent view.

Weirdest critter: the colugo. More colugos here.

Colugos:

Colugos are arboreal gliding mammals that are native to Southeast Asia. Their closest evolutionary relatives are primates. There are just two living species of colugos: the Sunda flying lemur (Galeopterus variegatus) and the Philippine flying lemur (Cynocephalus volans).

Caterpillar: I'm a twig, nothing to see here. Now I'm a snake, be afraid, be very afraid.

Surfing a 100 foot (?) wave. It's real, I've linked it before.

Nobody believes me, but these damn bears are out-of-control. I feel like Roy Scheider in Jaws. I'm telling all of you people that these bears are out-of-control, and you're all like, "Shut up, we can't close down the beaches for the Fourth of July weekend!"

You'll see. You'll see.

The Wednesday In Woke

United Airlines ejects a mother and her sixteen-month-old baby because she called a transgender man "sir."

The Times of India:

Jenna Longoria, a women's health and hormone expert from outside of Austin, Texas, claims she was denied boarding on a United Airlines flight at San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday morning. Longoria, who was travelling with her 16-month-old son and mother, accidentally misgendered a flight attendant multiple times while boarding the plane.

"When (the flight attendant), who identifies as a woman, gave me our boarding passes, I said 'thank you, sir.' That is it. That is it," Longoria told The Post, still perplexed by the incident. The flight attendant became upset and prevented Longoria's mother, who had been assisting with her son, from proceeding past the gate.

Another male flight attendant corrected her, saying, "she's wearing a dress." Longoria, focused on getting her crying son safely on the plane, admitted on social media that she's "not very versed with pronouns."

Ultimately, Longoria, her son, and her mother were not allowed to board the plane, which departed with their luggage and medications still on board. United Airlines claimed in a statement to The Post that the family was prohibited from boarding "following a discussion about having too many carry-on items," which Longoria vehemently denied.

In the UK, Maya Forestater was fired for expressing her completely factual opinion that men are not women. She sued and eventually judges agreed she had the right to express fact-opinions, and was entitled to 100,000 pounds in back pay.

But the police have never stopped investigating her. Turns out she's been under investigation for a year for making a critical remark about trans doctor.

The alleged offence, which carries a punishment of up to two years in prison, related to a post she wrote on X about Dr Kamilla Kamaruddin, a trans woman and former GP.

After transitioning, Kamaruddin had written of being allowed by patients to perform "more intimate examinations that they did not let me to do when I was a male GP".

Forstater's tweet, posted in June last year, said that Kamaruddin "enjoys intimately examining female patients without their consent".

Her point, which was explained in a linked blog post she had written earlier, was that many women specifically choose to go to a female doctor because they are more comfortable being examined by another woman rather than a man. In this case it wasn't clear if all of this doctor's patients, especially new patients who simply saw the doctor listed as female, were aware. Even if they were aware, would they be willing to risk being labeled transphobes for refusing to have a trans-woman examine them?

Orwell laughs.

Ron DeSantis signed a law requiring hospitals' emergency rooms to ask about immigration status when checking in a patient. Their Medicaid spending on illegal aliens plummeted.

Ron DeSantis signed a law that required hospitals to ask the immigration status of patients to prevent paying out the nose for Medicaid to illegal aliens, and, lo and behold, the law had its intended effect.

The real shocker here, however, is that Politico is the outlet that covered it.

Here's the subhead from the leftwing news site:

A POLITICO analysis found that Medicaid expenditures for undocumented immigrants in Florida has dropped dramatically since Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law directing hospitals to ask patients about their immigration status.

Florida has stopped having to fund hospital visits for illegal aliens simply by ASKING IF THEY'RE ILLEGAL!

The solutions to all of our immigration problems are a lot easier than they appear.

An antifa "Super Soldier" informed the judge that he was now a "non-binary" at his sentencing hearing.

He was convicted of conspiracy to riot due to his part in attacking Trump supporters (and police) in San Diego in 2021. Although he wore "body armor" from head to toe, he was easily identified, as his costume as a "Super Soldier" was distinctive and he is 6'2", 225 pounds.

He also admitted he beat up Trump supporters and cops in a text he sent to his antifa terrorist pals.

Knowing that he was about to be convicted, he out-of-the-blue pleaded the defense of mental insanity. He claimed he had "dissociated" from reality and had no idea what happened at the riot.

It didn't work. He was convicted.

He's got a new gambit: Maybe the judge will let me go if I say I'm a tranny.

From Andy Ngo at the Post-Millennial:

"This weekend I came out as non-binary to my friends and received the most loving support I could have possibly imagined," White wrote on Instagram on June 18. "Please do what you can to be there for your queer, non-binary and trans comrades." Accompanying the long statement was a photo of White without his beard and wearing an anti-law enforcement hat...

White's sudden claim of being trans non-binary raises questions about whether it is a cynical move for him to be able to request special accommodation away from the general male prison population if he is incarcerated. In California, men who identify as trans are able to request housing among the women's estate.

The weekend before his sentencing, he came out as "non-binary."

All he did was shave his beard.

imagirlnow.jpg
"I'm a girl now or something!
Put me in a women's prisoner and get Bud Light on the horn!
"

This character was just sentenced on Monday, I think. He got the maximum of two years. The judge says he wish he could have given him more, because he was a ringleader and also expressed no remorse for beating a woman.

Oh but wait he is a girl. He said so, see?

The judge didn't completely accept the line the left peddles to protect antifa from investigation as a terrorist network -- that it's just an "idea" and that it's a "leaderless organization." The judge pointed out that antifa sure seems to be getting funding from somewhere, and that this funding allows them to "pop up" in different jurisdictions.

Untalented and plain actress Tatiana Maslany -- star of the fan-favorite Marvel series that everyone loves, She-Hulk -- declares that parents have no right to weigh in on their child's (fake) gender identity.

Saskatchewan apparently passed a bill giving parents the right to consent or object to schools "transitioning" their children. This was a bridge too far for Maslany, who has a face like a Polack bricklayer.

Unsurprisingly, the passage of this bill did not fly well with Maslany, herself a noted LGBTQ youth activist.

Speaking to reporters following a June appearance at an event held by Canada's Walk of Fame at the Hotel Saskatchewan, Maslany criticized its contents, "It should not be in the control of parents how a child identifies."

"How a child knows them self to be," said the actress. "That isn't a parent's place -- it's an overreach. It's an overreach on the part of the provincial government to legislate that. It's absurd."

The She-Hulk star further opined, "Children have rights. Children are human beings who have knowledge and who know themselves and we should be taking cues from them. In so many ways, we should be taking cues from them. Listening to them, empowering them to know who they are and to name that."

"It's their right," she concluded. "It's not the parent's right."

By the way, they're doing another series of Orphan Black, called Orphan Black: Echoes, this time without Tatiana Maslany and her stupid high-school-talent-show overacting. They've replaced her with certified hottie Krysten Ritter, who herself was a Marvel actress, back when we all were somehow not ashamed to be watching stupid superhero crap. She played Jessica Jones.

Orphan Black wasn't my jam, but I know some people liked it.

After Literal Years of Gaslighting the Public, the New York Times Reports That White House Staff Have Noticed Joe Biden's "Lapses" and Moments of Incoherency

Before getting to that: A new New York Times/Siena poll (George is using a crayon for a pollster) has Trump opening a six point lead on Biden nationally, 49 to 43, up +3 since the debate.

What I hope is that people on the fence have been forced to resolve their resistance to Trump, and, having put that stuff aside, will continue supporting him in the possible and I'd say probable case that Biden drops out.

On to the NYT and its own Modified Limited Hangout: It has just suddenly come to the attention of the nation's "Paper of Record" that Biden's brain might not work so good.

Hey guys, did you hear? The Steele Dossier was fake and covid-19 may have (just may have) been created in a lab using money provided by Anthony Fauci.

Hop in the DeLorean, everyone! We're going back in time!

All the way back five years ago, when everyone except the leftwing Marxist propagandists in the media realized that Biden had dementia.

Biden's Lapses Are Increasingly Common, According to Some of Those in the Room

People who have spent time with President Biden over the last few months or so said the lapses appear to have grown more frequent, more pronounced and, after Thursday's debate, more worrisome.

OMG-- the Space Shuttle just blew up. No not that one, the first one.

Oh to have a teacher like Christa McAuliffe. May your spirit ride on cosmic waves, Mrs. McAuliffe. Excelsior.

In the weeks and months before President Biden's politically devastating performance on the debate stage in Atlanta, several current and former officials and others who encountered him behind closed doors noticed that he increasingly appeared confused or listless, or would lose the thread of conversations.

Holy shit! President Reagan's been shot! Who's in charge? WHO'S IN CHARGE?!

Oh good, it's this Alexander Haig fellow. Thank goodness he stepped up.

Like many people his age, Mr. Biden, 81, has long experienced instances in which he mangled a sentence, forgot a name or mixed up a few facts, even though he could be sharp and engaged most of the time. But in interviews, people in the room with him more recently said that the lapses seemed to be growing more frequent, more pronounced and more worrisome.

My friend Stubby told me that George Lucas -- he did Star Wars -- is teaming up with Steven Spielberg -- he did Jaws -- to make a movie.

I'm hoping it's good, but it's a weird idea -- it's actually set back in the 30s, about some kind of treasure hunter.

Han Solo's in it, so I'll give it a chance.

The uncomfortable occurrences were not predictable, but seemed more likely when he was in a large crowd or tired after a particularly bruising schedule. In the 23 days leading up to the debate against former President Donald J. Trump, Mr. Biden jetted across the Atlantic Ocean twice for meetings with foreign leaders and then flew from Italy to California for a splashy fund-raiser, maintaining a grueling pace that exhausted even much younger aides.

I'm a 20 year old physical trainer, and even I get exhausted just thinking about Ruth Bader Ginsburg's workout!!!

Do they even hear themselves? How long are they going to keep repeating these ridiculous lines?

He took a plane a couple of times in three weeks. A lot of people do that. And they do not mentally melt down from it.

Mr. Biden was drained enough from the back-to-back trips to Europe that his team cut his planned debate preparation by two days so he could rest at his house in Rehoboth Beach, Del., before joining advisers at Camp David for rehearsals. The preparations, which took place over six days, never started before 11 a.m. and Mr. Biden was given time for an afternoon nap each day, according to a person familiar with the process.

Referring to the start time, Andrew Bates, a White House spokesman, said "the president was working well before then, after exercising."

Just like Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Whoops, I returned to the present for a moment. Lemme get back in the DeLorean and get this up to 88 miles per hours.

...

He is certainly not that way all the time. In the days since the debate debacle, aides and others who encountered him, including foreign officials, described him as being in good shape -- alert, coherent and capable, engaged in complicated and important discussions and managing volatile crises. They cited example after example in cases where critical national security issues were on the line.

This is so absurd. They know what concerns people the most is the idea of a man with dementia and loss of executive function making national security decisions, especially as he seems eager to get into a nuclear war with Russia.

So the spin is: Sure, he's demented for his domestic policy decision-making, but he stores up all of his Good Brain Time to use it to make national security decisions.

The proof that he's cogent for national security decisions? That he tells Netanyahu he'll stab Israel in the back if he retaliates against Iran.

That's supposed to be reassuring? I guess to Biden's pro-terrorist voter base, it is.

White House officials have said the president is in excellent shape and that his debate performance, while disappointing, was an aberration. Kevin C. O'Connor, the White House physician, said as recently as February that despite minor ailments like sleep apnea and peripheral neuropathy in his feet, the president was "fit for duty." He said tests had turned up "no findings which would be consistent with" Parkinson's disease.

We're not asking about Parkinson's disease. We're asking about Alzheimer's.

Strange that he's willing to say that Biden doesn't have the neurological diseases we're not asking about.

The White House has declined to make Dr. O'Connor available for questions and did not respond to detailed health questions from The New York Times earlier this year.

But Biden doesn't have Parkinson's. He won't answer about Alzheimer's or general dementia. But you should do your best to conflate for your readers these diseases, so that they believe that the doctor is denying he has dementia.

Mr. Bates, the White House spokesman, said Tuesday that Dr. O'Connor had found no reason to re-evaluate Mr. Biden for Parkinson's disease and that he showed no signs of Parkinson's and had never taken Levodopa or other drugs for that condition.

Boy he's just really sticking to that "Not Parkinson's" diagnosis.

Aides to Mr. Biden responded to questions for this story by asking several senior advisers to describe their interactions with Mr. Biden.

"He's inquisitive. Focused. He remembers. He's sharp," said Neera Tanden, the president's domestic policy adviser. In briefings, she said, "he will ask you a tough question and he will say, 'How does this relate to an average person?' And if you haven't thought of that in that time, you have to come back to him."

It sounds like he's a dummy who, at best, is capable of asking, "Will this help me or hurt me with the public?" That's the extent of his "probing" questioning of policy.

Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, the president's homeland security adviser, recounted a June 17 terrorism briefing for Mr. Biden in the Situation Room in which he "digested an immense amount of information" and asked questions that were "probing and insightful." She acknowledged that Mr. Biden's debate performance had been different. "It doesn't reflect the experience I have with him on a daily basis," she said.

My Dude's doing so much probing they should buy him a flying saucer.

But by many accounts, as evidenced by video footage, observation and interviews, Mr. Biden is not the same today as he was even when he took office 3 1/2 years ago.

Really? By the way, did you hear? We landed on the Moon.

The MOON!!! Can you believe it!?

I'm gonna drink some Tang to start training to be a real-life astronaut!

Tell those Nassau* boys to be ready for Astro Ace!

Check this complete horsesh*t out:

...

Mr. Trump, 78, has also shown signs of slipping over the years since he was first elected to the White House. He often confuses names and details and makes statements that are incoherent. He maintains a lighter public schedule than Mr. Biden, does not exercise and repeatedly appeared to fall asleep in the middle of his recent hush money trial. His campaign has released only a three-paragraph health summary. Voters have expressed concern about his age as well, but not to the same degree as Mr. Biden's.

Really? Trump maintains a lighter schedule than Biden?

For those at the NYT pushing the Biden line that he only gets "fuzzy" because his job is so demanding and he's overtaxed: This is the standard Biden daily schedule.

Oh No! The Supreme Court's Overturning of the Chevron Doctrine Is "Hitting Regulators from Multiple Angles"

Axios whines: Won't someone think of the federal regulators?!!

Exactly 30 years ago, a Warren G hip-hop classic opened with the line "Regulators, mount up!" But now the Supreme Court is giving very different signals.

Why it matters: A 6-3 ruling Monday from the court's conservative majority brings even more jeopardy for expansive executive rules.

Oh no -- say it's not so. Don't tell me that the Court is going to force the Executive (and Congress, for that matter) to follow the biggest black-letter rule of the Constitution and demand that Congress, not unelected Deep State bureaucrats, make the laws. Or, as we've been deceptively calling them for 40 years, "the rules that fill in the teeny-tiny details of the laws."

Like deciding that the law says that bump stocks are illegal. Congress just forgot to mention that!

Whoops!

Whoopsie!

It's the latest of several decisions that together sap bureaucratic powers in areas where Congress hasn't given detailed marching orders.

Driving the news: The latest ruling holds that the six-year clock to bring Administrative Procedure Act claims doesn't start until a plaintiff is injured by an agency action, instead of when it's first finalized.

Oh no! Citizens will have more time to challenge obviously-unconstitutional Executive-made laws!

We undid the statute of limitations just so E. Jean Carroll could bring her outrageously absurd "rape" charges against Trump, but we draw the line at allowing citizens disadvantaged by an illegal Executive-made law to challenge it!

...

Catch up quick: Right before Chevron, SCOTUS stayed a recent EPA air pollution rule while challenges play out -- a move that some analysts say could spell trouble for other new agency policies.

And in 2022, the court's conservatives, in a case about power plant emissions, curtailed executive running room on "major questions" absent explicit Capitol Hill blessing.

The big picture: Conservatives, often backed by business groups, see today's court as a needed corrective, reigning in agencies using power in ways Congress never articulated.

But liberal justices and green groups, among others, say the court is preventing agencies and their technical experts from acting on emerging and evolving risks.

It seems like they both agree on what's going on -- liberal bureaucrats are writing stuff into the law that Congress never wrote itself, and liberals are pissed off that their illegal Fourth Branch of Government powers are being taken away.

So this is a game that's been going on decades. Former coblogger Senator Jack, who worked as a staffer to GOPers in Congress, complained of it constantly.

The left can't get the right to agree to their expansive regulatory laws. So what they do is just pass something in the area they want to regulate, and write in the bill's "intent" -- a non-binding statement with no effect -- that they'd like the law to accomplish A, B, and C.

Now that the liberal Deep State regulators have a law about that general area of human endeavor, they treat it like a spare, thin Christmas tree and begin hanging their ornaments of overreaching regulation all over it. Deep State lefties, and their conspirators in Congress, don't view the law as the law; they view the law as a mere scaffolding upon which they will erect the real law, the bureaucrat-made law.

The law is just a shell into which bureaucrats pour all their hopes and dreams, and plans and schemes.

And they're angry that this blatantly-unconstitutional practice is being reigned in. Not ended, mind you -- just reined in.

Update: Afternoon pendant points out that Axios wrote "reigned" when they meant "reined." Alas, I followed them in this error. Sorry to spread Cheap Fake Grammar.

I have more sad news for you: the beneficiaries of Biden's completely illegal loan forgiveness diktat may be the first victims of the evil Supreme Court's demand that Congress make the laws.

The Supreme Court issued a landmark ruling on Friday gutting a longstanding precedent that had given deference to federal agencies. The consequences of this decision will be felt broadly by Americans for many years. But student loan borrowers may be among the first to experience the impacts.

Because Biden's Executive fiat is illegal, so yes.

Following two major lower court decisions earlier this week that blocked key elements of a Biden administration student loan forgiveness and repayment program, the Supreme Court already seemed poised to eventually take up student debt relief yet again. But the latest ruling by the nation's highest court makes it even more likely that Biden's student debt relief plans, and potentially other student loan forgiveness and repayment programs, are now in very serious danger.

I'll give you some space. I know you need time to grieve.

NYT Reports That Biden Is Considering Dropping Out of the Race

Biden is attempting multiple gambits to convince people he's Still Got It. He'll be giving a heavily-edited, scripted "interview" to former Clinton war-room second-in-command George Stephanopolous, and he is planning a press conference where he'll "answer questions."

I assume most of these questions will be, as usual, previewed for the "president" and he'll have note-cards about how to answer them.

However, the press might not be willing to play this game with him any longer -- the Media-Democrat Borg Hivemind has decided to drive Biden out of the hive. Maybe many of them will refuse to "share their questions" with the White House staff beforehand.

And maybe, if the White House insists on only reading canned, "previewed" questions, the rest of the media might actually report on the falsity of the event.

However that plays out, Biden has told an "ally" that he will withdraw from the race if he's not able to reassure Democrats that he is capable of fooling the public into thinking he's not demented.

The White House denied this story -- as usual.

But even CNN has turned on Biden, confirming the NYT story. Although they didn't use these words, this means they're calling the White House denial a lie.

Democrats Are Weighing Whether to Move Up the Convention Vote for the Presidential Nominee to July 21 -- To Short-Circuit Any Attempts to Replace Biden

They'd better hurry.

And Happy Wednesday Before the Fourth of July.

Happy Humpthird, everyone! Humpthird greetings to all! Let us all put up the Humpthird festoonery, and go out wassailing our Humpthird songs!

I do not think Biden will be able to hold off the storm for another eighteen days.

The Democratic National Committee is considering formally nominating Joe Biden as early as mid-July to ensure that the president is on November ballots, while helping to stamp out intra-party chatter of replacing him after last week's poor debate performance.

A potential date for Biden's nomination is July 21, when the Democratic convention's credentials committee meets virtually, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity. The panel is meeting to finalize procedures before the party's convention in Chicago starts on Aug. 19.

Democrats had already planned to nominate Biden, 81, before the convention in order to ensure he appears on the ballot in Ohio, which had an Aug. 7 deadline for candidates to be certified.

That deadline has since been moved back, but the plans to nominate the president early could serve another purpose: helping to quell talk of a potential replacement or an open convention following Biden's cataclysmic debate against Donald Trump. The president's lackluster showing last Thursday sparked calls from some prominent Democrats for him to suspend his campaign in favor of passing the torch to someone else.

In the days since the debate, Biden's allies have struck a defiant tone, angrily dismissing calls for the oldest president in US history to end his reelection campaign to make way for another contender. The incumbent president won about 99% of his party's pledged delegates during the 2024 primary contest.

This story, published on Monday, notes that July 21 comes ten days after the planned sentencing hearing for Trump's Fake Conviction in Manhattan. I guess the idea is that if Trump is sentenced to jail, Biden might be able to hang on to power.

Except... Alvin Bragg agreed to delay that sentencing hearing.

Is he one of the Democrats conspiring to get rid of Biden, too?

I don't see why he wouldn't like Biden -- Alvin Bragg obviously shares Biden's passion for ice cream.

And hamburgers. And fries. And fishandwiches. And Oreos. And breakfast tacos. And pumpkin pies. And cherry pies. And apple pies. And chicken pot pies. And Double-Stuffed Chalupas.

Axios Offers a Preview of Trump's Coming "Imperial Presidency"

You had my interest, but now you have my attention.

Former President Trump, if re-elected, plans to immediately test the boundaries of presidential and governing power, knowing the restraints of Congress and the courts are dramatically looser than during his first term, his advisers tell us.

Why it matters: It's not just the Supreme Court ruling on Monday that presidents enjoy substantial legal immunity for actions in office. Trump would come to office with a Cabinet and staff pre-vetted for loyalty, and a fully compliant Republican coalition in Congress -- devoid of critics in positions of real power.

That's a big reason many Democrats worry President Biden is making one of the biggest gambles in U.S. history by staying in the race amid acute concerns about his age.

The big picture: Trump promises an unabashedly imperial presidency -- one that would turn the Justice Department against critics, deport millions of people in the U.S. illegally, slap 10% tariffs on thousands of products, and fire perhaps tens of thousands of government staff deemed insufficiently loyal.

I've got a funny feeling in my pants. It feels like love. No, hate.

It feels like a sexy mixture of love and hate.

He'd stretch the powers of the presidency in ways not seen in our lifetime. He says this consistently and clearly -- so it's not conjecture.

You might like this or loathe this. But it's coming, fast and furious, if he's elected.

My dick's so hard it can scratch diamond.

Thanks to Monday's Supreme Court ruling, Trump could pursue his plans without fear of punishment or restraint.

What to watch: To hear Trump and his allies tell it, this is how early 2025 would unfold if he wins:

1. A re-elected Trump would quickly set up vast camps and deport millions of people in the U.S. illegally. He could invoke the Insurrection Act and use troops to lock down the southern border.

2. In Washington, Trump would move to fire potentially tens of thousands of civil servants using a controversial interpretation of law and procedure. He'd replace many of them with pre-vetted loyalists.

3. He'd centralize power over the Justice Department, historically an independent check on presidential power. He plans to nominate a trusted loyalist for attorney general, and has threatened to target and even imprison critics. He could demand the federal cases against him cease immediately.

4. Many of the Jan. 6 convicts could be pardoned -- a promise Trump has made at campaign rallies, where he hails them as patriots, not criminals. Investigations of the Bidens would begin.

5. Trump says he'd slap 10% tariffs on most imported goods, igniting a possible trade war and risking short-term inflation. He argues this would give him leverage to create better trade terms to benefit consumers.

6. Conversation would intensify about when Justices Clarence Thomas, 76, and Sam Alito, 74, would retire.

Lists of potential successors are already drawn up.

President Biden said last month that "the next president is likely to have two new Supreme Court nominees."

If Trump were to win and the two oldest justices retired, five of the nine justices would have been handpicked by Trump.

Top Democrats privately predict Republican majorities in the House and Senate if Biden loses.

Most of Trump's most prominent critics -- Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, et al. -- will be gone. Even the few who remain, including Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), will be substantially less powerful.

...

What they're saying: Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), a top prospect as Trump's VP, told us Trump would have more allies -- and more loyal allies -- in Congress this time.

"You have to ask yourself: How many true allies of the agenda existed in the United States Capitol in January 2017, and how many will exist in January of 2025?" Vance told us.

...

The freshman senator said that while Trump was "very much a newcomer to politics" when he ran the first time, he now "understands how to pull the levers of power much better, because he's coming at this as a subject matter expert."

The media would investigate, report, and illuminate all of it -- but probably with less impact. A second Trump term would start with TV ratings in the tank, mainstream media shrinking, and public attention shattering into dozens of information ecosystems, many built around popular and often partisan celebrities.

So the ability to do more with fewer real restraints is real -- and hard to change.

The bottom line: Think of Trump 2025 as a better prepared, much better organized, much more powerful version of Trump 2017 -- minus Republican brakes and any mystery about immunity.

They're continuing the "Trump can now send out hit men to kill his enemies" lie.

I kind of hope they believe it. I want them to be afraid.

The Daily Caller writes conservatives are drawing up lists of the worst Deep State operatives (in other words: AP's sources for leaks) and is planning to terminate them with extreme prejudice.

I mean fire them, not kill them. (Although the left is insistant that Trump now has that right; should we take them at their word?)

A "highly unusual and potentially chilling effort" is underway to reign in the Deep State and put an end to government actors subverting the will of American voters, Republican or Democrat.

Stop it guys, you're getting me too excited.

"Seasoned political operative" Tom Jones and his American Accountability Foundation are making a list. They better check twice. And they're gonna find out who's, well... really just who's naughty.

With a $100,000 grant from the Heritage Foundation, Jones is taking a deep dive into the "backgrounds, social media posts and commentary of key high-ranking government employees." First up: Department of Homeland Security. The mission, dubbed Project Sovereignty 2025, is to compile a list of 100 potential saboteurs within the Deep State, and post their names publicly to let the world know who they really are.

This might sound drastic, but nothing could be more warranted.

...

The goal of posting the 100 names, according to the AP, is to expose who might impede "a second-term Trump agenda"-- and who is "ripe for scrutiny, reclassifications, reassignments or firings."

To the Democratic handmaidens in the bureaucracy, this is all deeply disturbing. The mission reportedly "stunned democracy experts and shocked the civil service community."

As for Trump getting to pick more justices: I sure hope he gets them right this time.

Josh Hammer has some suggestions to avoid any more ugly surprises.

First, do the actual research. Gorsuch's stunning defection in the 2020 Bostock decision, for instance, in which he read sexual orientation and gender identity into Title VII, was entirely predictable based upon his prior similar ruling in a 2009 9th Circuit case called Kastl. And if there isn't a huge body of case law because a prospective nominee hasn't been an active judge for very long, that's a good indication not to pick that person. Only demonstrable, proven track records can suffice.

Second and related, dive deep into a prospective nominee's record to verify full-spectrum, across-the-board conservatism. Conservatives are sick of one-trick pony lawyers and jurists, for instance, who obsess over regulatory issues and gutting the administrative state while having little to say when it comes to the core civilizational issues affecting sovereignty, life, religion and human sexuality.

Third, it is imperative that conservatives vet nominees closely for a willingness and eagerness to overrule bad cases and correct course as aggressively as possible. The right must only consider those who take a properly constrained view of stare decisis (precedent) in constitutional interpretation, will liberally grant writs of certiorari to hear flawed lower-court cases affecting key issues, and who will not search for ways to avoid tough rulings--as the court did this week when it punted on the Big Tech censorship case of Murthy v. Missouri on standing grounds and dismissed as improvidently granted the Idaho abortion case of Moyle v. United States.

Finally, the prospective nominee's personal life should be closely scrutinized. There is not a single more important proxy than the "spouse test." It is no coincidence that Thomas and Alito are the two most steadfast of the current justices; their wives, Ginni and Martha-Ann, are exceptional, conservative women. Beyond the spouse test, a nominee must attend a theologically conservative house of worship; a rainbow flag-flying church or synagogue must be an automatic disqualifier.

That last one is a really good point. There is one major factor into which nominal Republicans stayed strong and which went cuck since 2015: Whether their wives were AWFL harridans, or whether their wives were #based. Some #based wives dragged their cuckish husbands kicking and screaming back to the right side of things.

But the weak men, the ones with ballbuster liberal wives, the weaklings: they all went cuck.

Outstanding News! Serial Felon, Foreign Agent, Cokehead and Security Risk Extraordinaire Hunter Biden Is Now Routinely Sittting In on White House Meetings

Biden's position is that you can't be a convicted felon and be president.

But you can be the top presidential advisor.

Deb Heine:

Disgraced convicted felon Hunter Biden has reportedly been joining his embattled father and top aides in official meetings at the White House since the Biden family returned from Camp David, Monday evening.

...

While staying at the presidential retreat in Maryland, according to reports, the family took the opportunity to urge him to stay in the race and keep fighting despite his humiliating debate performance.

Since then, the scandal-plagued younger Biden has "popped into" official White House meetings and phone calls with advisors, four people familiar with the matter told NBC.

Hunter has also reportedly been spotted talking to senior White House staff.

According to the sources, Joe Biden's aides were "struck" by Hunter's unusual involvement in these high-level discussions at the White House.

"What the hell is happening?" senior White House staff is quoted to have said.

Wednesday Morning Rant

mannixape2.jpg

It's Not (Just) the Economy, Stupid

"People vote their pocketbooks" is an expression so common and so old that it is has become something of a political axiom. As James Carville put it back during the first Clinton campaign, "it's the economy, stupid."

The economy is always a key part of any given campaign. If it's doing well, it isn't doing well enough to the opponent. If it's doing poorly, the incumbent lies about it and the challenger calls out the lie. You can set your watch by it. Recession, growth, inflation, stability, deficit, surplus, unemployment, job growth - it's all the same. The candidates will behave predictably in accordance with the axiom. It's one of the pillars of American elections.
