The law already existed -- it just wasn't enforced.
The Supreme Court also ordered Trump to seek the return of the MS-13 member he deported.... eventually. This is confusing. The Supreme Court ruled that the district court overstepped its bounds in ordering Trump to perform his foreign policy function the way this AWFL shitlib wanted. Now they're kind of saying the same thing... but also warning the AWFL shitlib who is managing the case that she mustn't overstep her bounds by presuming to tell the president how to conduct foreign policy. (Deportations are considered part of the conduct of foreign policy.) So: Does Trump have to try to get this Solid Citizen back or not? It's unclear. The Supreme Court is confused on the point.
A federal judge has cleared the way for the Trump admin to begin enforcing a federal statute requiring illegal immigrants to register with the government and carry documentation. The mandate, which Homeland Security says will be enforced starting Friday, could impact up to 3.2 million people living in the U.S. illegally. Key Details: U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden ruled Thursday that advocacy groups challenging the registration requirement lacked standing to sue, allowing the policy to take effect immediately. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said those who've been in the country for 30 days or more must register by Friday, warning that failure to comply could lead to fines or criminal charges. The requirement applies to everyone 14 and older without legal status, including long-term residents and Canadians who remain in the U.S. more than 30 days. Registrants must provide fingerprints and an address, and minors must be registered by a parent or guardian.
I don't know what this means. I don't think the Supreme Court knows either.
After the ruling, many on the left claimed "Supreme Court in a unanimous decision: He has a legal right to be here, and you have to bring him back." It is a bit more ambiguous than that. The Court actually warned that the district court could order the government to facilitate but not necessarily "to effectuate" the return. So what does that mean? The Court disagrees with many, including the Fourth Circuit, that President Trump had no inherent executive powers to countermand the district court's order. He clearly does have countervailing powers that have to be weighed more heavily in the matter. The district court is expressly ordered to show "due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs." What is left is a legal pushmi-pullyu that seems to be going in both directions at once. What if the Trump Administration says that inquiries were made, but the matter has proven intractable or unresolvable? Crickets. No one would seriously believe that, but what right does the district court have to manage the relations or communications with a foreign country?
The application is granted in part and denied in part, subject to the direction of this order. Due to the administrative stay issued by THE CHIEF JUSTICE, the deadline imposed by the District Court has now passed. To that extent, the Government's emergency application is effectively granted in part and the deadline in the challenged order is no longer effective. The rest of the District Court's order remains in effect but requires clarification on remand. The order properly requires the Government to "facilitate" Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador. The intended scope of the term "effectuate" in the District Court's order is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court's authority. The District Court should clarify its directive, with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs. For its part, the Government should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps. The order heretofore entered by THE CHIEF JUSTICE is vacated.

NBC defamation settlement with Georgia doctor finalized in court following MSNBC's 'uterus collector' coverageOf course not. One again, the leftwing media teaches us the right response to media inquiries-- silence and stonewalling. Give them nothing. Everyone, take notice, NBC "News" is telling you what to do when "journalists" email you: Tell them to f*** off with all deliberate speed.
Dr. Mahendra Amin sued NBCUniversal for $30 million over coverage by MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow, Nicolle Wallace and Chris Hayes
NBCUniversal has finalized its defamation settlement with a Georgia doctor who was repeatedly called a "uterus collector" by MSNBC. NBCUniversal, the parent company of NBC News and MSNBC (the latter is currently being spun off as a separate company), settled the $30 million lawsuit filed by Georgia gynecologist Dr. Mahendra Amin. Amin who was the subject of a report claiming he performed unnecessary hysterectomies at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) center. Both parties struck the settlement in February, but the lawsuit was officially dismissed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. The terms of the settlement were not publicly disclosed. "We are pleased that Dr. Amin is able to move on from his years-long litigation against NBCUniversal," Amin's attorneys, Stacey Evans and Scott Grubman, told Fox News Digital. "It is unfortunate that he had to sue to get confirmation of what was known all along--that he did not perform mass hysterectomies on women detained at Irwin County Detention Center. We are glad that the judge found those statements false as a matter of law because, in fact, Dr. Amin performed only two hysterectomies, both of which were medically necessary and consented to by the patients." "Dr. Amin is a dedicated physician who has dedicated his entire career to serving underserved communities. The recklessness of NBCUniversal to try to paint him as an evil doctor was disgusting and we are glad they finally settled the case," they added. Representatives from NBCUniversal and MSNBC did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Why would they have to prove actual malice?
Amin was the subject of an NBC News article in September 2020, which cited a whistleblower's claim that he was performing unneeded hysterectomies while providing medical care to women detained at the Irwin County Detention Center.
MSNBC quickly followed with a series of on-air reports on "Deadline: White House," "All In with Chris Hayes" and "The Rachel Maddow Show," all running with the "uterus collector" label for Amin. Amin filed a lawsuit against parent company NBCUniversal, alleging he was falsely portrayed as "an abusive, unethical, and dishonest physician who treated and operated on immigrant women in an abusive fashion, without consent, and motivated by profit instead of quality healthcare." Judge Lisa Godbey Wood of the Southern District of Georgia previously ruled that a jury could reasonably find actual malice and the trial was set to begin April 22, in Waycross, Georgia. In light of the settlement agreement, the court canceled the scheduled trial.
"NBC investigated the whistleblower letter's accusations; that investigation did not corroborate the accusations and even undermined some; NBC republished the letter's accusations anyway," Judge Wood wrote last year in a 108-page summary. ... Judge Wood previously ruled that multiple statements were proven false, noting "undisputed evidence has established" that "there were no mass hysterectomies or high numbers of hysterectomies at the facility," "Dr. Amin performed only two hysterectomies on female detainees from the ICDC," and the doctor is not a "uterus collector."By the way, only Fox and conservative outlets are covering this. The Protection Racket Media that claims to be Servants of the Truth who report the facts without fear or favor are, get this, suppressing the story. What do you call an industry that covers up for known bad actors in that industry? You'd call that industry "corrupt" and in need of congressional investigation, wouldn't you? Below, Megyn Kelly discusses this latest proof of the media's utter corruption, derangement, and viciousness. She plays audio of Maddow claiming, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, that this doctor with a good record is a Mengele-esque "uterus collector" stealing the sex organs of immigrant women at 1:04.

Does Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 - which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance - protect white individuals from racial discrimination, in addition to protecting minorities? The Supreme Court may soon weigh in.
A petition for a writ of certiorari has been filed with the Supreme Court (e.g. a request for the Supreme Court to hear the case) in the matter of Brooks Warden versus the Austin Independent School District (“AISD”You won’t believe the r*cist comment a Texas principal made at Brooks Warden (a middle schooler at the time). He explains on @drphil We’re proud to represent Brooks and protect his civil liberties! pic.twitter.com/EQSniJ58nq
— Center for American Liberty (@Liberty_Ctr) April 7, 2025
Some of y'all know that Brooks has a case currently being considered before The United States Supreme Court. Brooks and I recently sat down with Dr. Phil in an exclusive one-on-one primetime interview to discuss the details of the case. Briefly, Brooks has endured this nine years (and counting) long case against AISD that involves abuse, bullying, and discrimination beginning when he was a 12-year old child in 2016 - simply for being a little boy who supported Donald Trump. The 2016 election kicked off a four-year campaign of hostility and abuse, discrimination, and harassment over his race, faith, and viewpoints that spanned three separate principals and two campuses (O. Henry MS and Austin High) culminating with a beating and a death-threat in 2020. The crux of the case is this gross mistreatment was not just from students but was LED BY THE GROWN UPS (teachers, administrators, principals). If you're wondering, these are NOT 'alleged instances' - AISD has NEVER disputed ANYTHING they, or anyone, did to Brooks in his complaint. I ask you to please remember when you think of Brooks as this thriving 21-year old man now, that these people came after an innocent little boy. Y'all know I never bring politics to my work or music - still don't and won't - MY politics are irrelevant here (and don't assume you know what they are) - even Brooks' politics are irrelevant - the ONLY people whose politics ARE relevant are those who feel they needed to express and defend their ideology by abusing a child. This is NOT just a political issue either, but also discrimination that involved Brooks' race AND faith at every turn. That's against the law. You see friends, there is NO reverse discrimination - only discrimination - and it's ALWAYS wrong – it’s especially despicable when grown-ups do this to a child. I gotta tell you, its amazing when you wake up one mornin' and realize your youngest son is the bravest man you've ever known. Brooks has stayed in a fight most would have never had the courage to ever begin or wage. He has literally shed his own blood doing so. Brandi and I proudly stand with him. How the Hell do we need The United States Supreme Court to step in and tell people, you can't abuse/humiliate/discriminate against/harass a little boy? - EVER. FOR. ANY. REASON.There is much more, as detailed in this Federalist piece from February, “Texan Allegedly Bullied By School Over His Skin Color, Trump Support Asks Supreme Court To Take His Case” and in the Dr. Phil video embedded further below. Among the abuses claimed by Brooks were a teacher calling him a racial slur; the Principal mocking Brooks and accusing him of listening to Dixie while wearing a headset; the Student Council President circulating a picture of Brooks as a Klansman; another student promising to kill Brooks and all Trump supporters; and a student beating Brooks up in a classroom while the teacher watched. That student is later alleged to have boasted about assaulting Brooks because of his race. As Brooks’ father documented above, the Austin Independent School District never disputed or refuted any of this, they just chose to ignore the Wardens’ pleas to make it stop.

Venture Capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya said Thursday on Fox News that the “global elites” are panicking because they no longer control how “governments behave.” President Donald Trump announced on April 2 a list of countries to hit with reciprocal tariffs. Political pundits, lawmakers, and experts clashed over whether the plan would benefit America. By Wednesday, Trump announced a 90-day pause on the tax charge for all countries except China, with the stock market rising in response. . . . . . “I think the thing is that the global elite have deeply benefited from a 20-year regime of taking jobs and moving them anywhere in the world that allowed you to optimize for profit, number one,” Palihapitiya said. “It benefited from an economic regime of low volatility, where you could keep interest rates effectively at zero for quasi forever.” “The reality now is that what they see is an inability to create and scaremonger the White House into economic policy,” Palihapitiya added. “I think that this is very troublesome for them, because they’ve been able to control, from Wall Street or from London or from these other places, how governments behave. So what you see right now is them violently trying to push back and trying to create a narrative.”
Of course, as bad if not worse than the Democrat Left are those allegedly on our side who have done nothing, or worse than nothing in the dismantling of America for power and profit by aiding and abetting the anti-American Democrat/Left. That is the GOP. THe Grifting Oleaginous Parasite party, or GOP
Fighting against the wishes of their voters is a classic Republican pastime — and this week is no different. When they apparently thought nobody was looking, a cabal of GOP senators comprised of Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski, Utah’s John Curtis, Kansas’ Jerry Moran, and North Carolina’s Thom Tillis — who’s up for reelection next year — quietly sent a letter on Wednesday to Senate Majority Leader John Thune regarding ongoing negotiations over the party’s reconciliation package. Their concern? That the final version of the legislation containing priorities backed by President Trump (tax cuts and border security) will also include provisions fully repealing President Biden’s wrongly named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a 2022 law filled with Democrat-backed goodies and “Green New Deal-style” policy priorities. Specifically, these four Republican senators asked that a final reconciliation package forgo “full-scale” cuts of tax credits for the energy sector — which includes those for so-called “renewable energy sources.”
. . . In typical Republican fashion, the four senators tossed around unconvincing pledges to “identify waste, fraud, abuse, and necessary reforms,” while completely ignoring the inefficiencies of “green” energy and the enormous price tag associated with the Democrat-backed credits they’re defending.
These venal traitorous bastards have got to be removed and replaced. It's why I'm cheering for Ken Paxton over Jon Cornyn, and of course he usual suspects are lining up behind that snake's re-election bid. And elsewhere, the situation vis a vis Iran, Israel and America may get interesting sooner than we think
The only matter that is of supreme importance to Netanyahu, and apparently to Donald Trump as well, is dealing with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Last week, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected direct negotiations with the U.S., and news out of Tehran was that the Iranians are speeding up their efforts to build a nuclear bomb. That qualified for summoning Netanyahu to Washington.
In the meantime, Khamenei has placed Iran’s armed forces on high alert in response to President Trump’s recent threat that “if they don't make a deal, there will be bombing.” Trump said in a telephone interview, “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.” An Iranian newspaper close to the Iranian regime and to Khamenei himself reportedly called for the assassination of Trump. The hardline Kayhan newspaper published this chilling statement: “He [Trump]’s way out of line! Any day now, in revenge for the blood of Martyr Soleimani, a few bullets are going to be fired into that empty skull of his and he’ll be drinking from the chalice of a cursed death.”
There has already been a credible attempt by the Iranian regime to assassinate Trump. According to a November 8, 2024 report by Politico: “The Iranian government ordered an operative to assassinate Donald Trump before the 2024 election. Manhattan federal prosecutors said that they charged Farhad Shakeri with murder-for-hire and for providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization. He is believed to be in Iran and remains at large, prosecutors said.” President Trump, therefore, must be more determined than ever to deal once and for all with the Iranian menace to him personally, and to the world at large.
And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great weekend, and to all who are celebrating this weekend a Ziessen Pesach. And may the Angel of Death pass over you all, and may he knock down the doors of all enemies of freedom and righteousness and pave the way for a restoration of peace, prosperity and sanity here and all over this messed up world. Amen.

Thursday again! I spent the first three days of the week sick as a dog. Honestly, I barely left my bed, I didn't know you could sleep that much. And sweat! I lost a good 5 lbs. On the mend today, and “What, ONT?” Didn't seem right because it “feels” like a Monday to me. Anyhow, on with the ONT!

Our Marxist-dominated government of traitors has allowed their fellow travelers in antifa to beat and burn down their enemies, because the left protects its street militias.
They're all on the same team. Democrats are the PLO, antifa and BLM are their Black September. Standard terrorist arrangement -- you have your "direct action" wing that commits actual terrorism, and then your "political" wing which does not commit terrorist attacks but just argues that they're acceptable methods of resistance against An Oppression So Unspeakable. The "political" wing keeps somewhat clean so that the victims of terrorism have an ostensibly non-terrorist party to negotiate with. Everyone understands this standard terrorist division of labor. Except for the US government when it comes to the left. They pretend they don't know that the Democrat Party and antifa work hand-in-glove together.Bill MeluginA left-wing social media agitator who has no job and pays no rent but must suck the teat of the state or their put-upon family members? @BillMelugin_ NEW: The Texas man who allegedly threatened to shoot & kill ICE agents & urged his followers to do the same left a federal courtroom crying today after he was ordered held in detention, with the magistrate determining he is a threat and a flight risk, according to our @FoxNews team in the room. Additionally, federal prosecutors said they learned about Robert King's alleged threats via the national FBI tip line. He had been living with his sister and brother in law, who is a Mesquite police officer and former CBP agent. Upon learning of the social media posts, the brother in law threw him out of the house.
Here, King incites the murder of ICE agents:
The DoJ certainly took it seriously, too. They filed a felony indictment under 18 USC 875(c) for transmitting threats over "interstate communications," a crime which carries up to five years in prison per count:Robert Wilson King, 35, was charged on April 3, 2025, via criminal complaint with transmitting an interstate threat. King made his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Renée Harris Toliver this morning and was detained pending a detention hearing set for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. According to the complaint, on March 29, 2025, King allegedly posted a threat on a social media platform, stating, "If I see ICE agents in my neighborhood I'm opening fire. It's time to stop being p****** and put the second amendment to work. ICE are not real cops, they are a secret police force with no real legal authority. Kill them." Later, King allegedly posted on another social media platform that he wanted to "double down" on his threat to shoot and kill ICE agents.

I'm beginning to question the reliability of the statistics provided by the Hamas Ministry of Health, Propaganda, Jew-Detection and Rooftop Homosexual-Gravity-Testing Laboratories. Update: Surprising everyone, the French have quickly surrendered to a genocidal army intent on killing Jews.
Hamas terror outlet quietly cuts Gaza death count, reveals most killed were combat-age men
Hamas has revised its casualty figures from the Gaza war, removing hundreds of names from its official list of war fatalities, and revealing that 72% of those killed between ages 13 and 55 were males 00 a demographic largely composed of combatants. The updated figures contradict Hamas' earlier claims that most casualties were women and children. Salo Aizenberg, from the U.S.-based nonprofit HonestReporting, uncovered the changes through a detailed analysis of Hamas' casualty lists. The investigation revealed that 3,400 names, including over 1,080 children, were removed from the group’s March 2025 report after being listed in 2024. Aizenberg pointed out that the original reports, published by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Ministry of Health, were widely cited by major international organizations, including the United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC). "These 'deaths' never happened. The numbers were falsified -- again," he wrote. The United Nations did not respond to a Fox News Digital request asking if the world body regretted disseminating those numbers in light of the revised figures. A spokesperson for the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which is investigating Israel for war crimes, told Fox News Digital, "We cannot provide comments on matters related to ongoing investigations. This approach is essential to protect the integrity of investigations, and to ensure the safety and security of victims, witnesses, and all those with whom the Office interacts." David Adesnik, vice president of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, who has also been tracking the figures, reached a similar conclusion. According to his analysis, "72% of the fatalities between the ages of 13 and 55 are male." "Even at age 13, there's a major excess of male over female deaths, and the disparity grows with age," Adesnik told Fox News Digital. "If you calculate from age 13 to 59, there's a little more than 15,000 excess men. That gives you an idea of how many are actually fighters." His analysis showed a striking gender imbalance: at age 13, there are 588 male casualties compared to 385 females; by age 19, the gap widens to 800 males versus 285 females. This trend continues throughout the age spectrum, suggesting a disproportionately high number of male combatant deaths. Adesnik also highlighted issues with how deaths were recorded. "Significant numbers of names disappear from the list over time. It's like 2,000 names are removed and new ones added," he said.

There's so much Now It Can Be Told reporting on Biden's dementia, now that it's irrelevant and can't hurt the Democrat Party or help Trump.
Andrew Stiles:Now They Tell Us: How Top Democrats Changed Their Tune on Biden's Decline After the ElectionHe discusses other Democrats' flip-flopping on Biden's mental acuity. See the article for that. The madwoman Hillary Clinton apparently stuck by Biden through this. But then, she's half-senile herself. The media is in damage control mode, attempting to find some explanation for why they covered up Biden's dementia that doesn't prove that they're either stupid and incompetent or that they're deranged partisan liars who will tell you that the sky is green if they think that might boost the Democrat Party by 0.1%. Axios founder Jim VandeHei attempts the softest possible rebuke of his fellow "journalists," while pretending that he had nothing to do with the cover-up:
In cruel twist of irony, Hillary Clinton may have been the only one who wasn't lying Mainstream journalists spent the last four years "speaking truth to power" by helping Democrats lie to the American people about the extent of Joe Biden's cognitive decline. The truth can finally be told now that the election is over. The first of several books about the Democratic Party's scandalous cover up, Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, came out earlier this month. Excerpts from the upcoming titles, such as Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History by Chris Whipple, have leaked to the press in an effort to juice sales. The revelations contained in these works of postelection journalism reveal the alarming disparity between what leading Democratic politicians and White House aides felt privately about Biden's cognitive health (very concerned) and their public comments defending the president from criticism.
Ron Klain After serving as White House chief of staff from 2021-2023, Klain returned in 2024 to help Biden prepare for the now infamous CNN debate. Klain was "startled" by the president's condition during their first meeting, Whipple writes in Uncharted. "He'd never seen him so exhausted and out of it. Biden was unaware of what was happening in his own campaign. Halfway through the session, the president excused himself and went off to sit by the pool." Klain was "struck by how out of touch with American politics" Biden was, and after watching the president appear "fatigued, befuddled, and disengaged" during limited prep sessions, he "feared the debate with Trump would be a nationally televised disaster." Klain offered a remarkably different account several days after the debate in July 2024. "As the president said, he had a bad night, his practices were better, and he was tired from all the back and forth travel around the world, and was suffering from a cold that really constrained his voice and constrained his ability to be forceful in the debate," Klain said on MSNBC. "But the president is absolutely sharp, fit, on top of his game. People can see that for themselves. You don't have to take my word for it." ...
Barack Obama The former president was "shocked" but "not surprised" when Biden bragged about finally beating Medicare on the debate stage, according to Allen and Parnes. "Obama knew from experience how the job aged a man, and he could see the effects when he watched Biden on television and in their rare joint appearances." One of those appearances was at a Hollywood fundraiser that made headlines after a video clip showed Obama gingerly leading Biden off stage after the president appeared to freeze up. In their first conversation after the debate, Obama tried to "subtly guide Biden toward his own conclusion that there was no light at the end of this tunnel." Obama did not share these views publicly. Instead, he meekly offered support for the president like a total coward, a move that undermined his own desire to see Biden leave the race. "Bad debate nights happen," he wrote on X. "Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight -- and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn't change that, and it's why so much is at stake in November." After Biden dropped out, Obama campaigned passionately for Harris despite telling Democrats in private conversations that she was a bad candidate who would "lose to Trump."

Trump Repeals Biden-Era Limit on Water Flow in Shower Heads President Trump, who has waged a long-running battle against low water pressure, signed an executive order that redefined a common bathroom fixture.I mean, he repealed Obama's executive order, which redefined the shower heads.
How long does it take you to wet your hair in the shower? A few seconds? A minute? The president of the United States, who has long complained about being unable to coax more than a dribble or trickle of water from his showers, says it takes him much longer. "I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair," President Trump said on Wednesday in the Oval Office. "I stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It's ridiculous." Much of the world was focused at that moment on his trade war, but Mr. Trump wanted to talk about showers. He offered this insight while signing an executive order to loosen restrictions on water flow from American shower heads. The order directs Energy Secretary Chris Wright to rescind a definition of shower heads first implemented by President Barack Obama. It is the second time that Mr. Trump as president has attempted to redefine a shower head. A rule he introduced in his first term drastically increased the amount of water that showers with multiple nozzles could use. The Biden administration later reversed that change. "No longer will shower heads be weak and worthless," the White House said in a news release on Wednesday. How big of an issue is this, really? And how many ways can you define a shower head? For Mr. Trump, it has been a long-running crusade. He has railed for years against low water pressure in bathrooms, an issue in some New York City high-rises. During his first term in the White House, he lamented that his showers did not supply enough water for him to achieve his "perfect" hair, part of a campaign against what he described as excessive government regulation. "You take a shower, the water doesn't come out," he said in 2020. "You want to wash your hands, the water doesn't come out. So what do you do? You just stand there longer or you take a shower longer? Because my hair -- I don't know about you, but it has to be perfect. Perfect." At a dinner with Republican leaders in 2023, he repeated his complaint: "You know I have this gorgeous head of hair -- when I take a shower, I want water to pour down on me. When you go into these new homes with showers, the water drips down slowly, slowly."The left's entire mission can be boiled down to let's fuck with people for almost no reason, just to show that we can, just to feel powerful in our impotence, just to dominate people who are better and stronger than we are. And they're consistently baffled when the people revolt because they don't like anti-productive busybodies constantly fucking with them to prove that they have Power over other people.
Trump changed the definition back to what it used to be. The Times brands this some kind of activist invasion into people's right to have low water pressure in their showers.
Mr. Trump's new order restores language from a 1992 federal law, enacted to conserve water, that prevented new American-made shower heads from spritzing more than 2.5 gallons of water per minute. Some states, including California and Colorado, as well as New York City, have imposed their own lower rates. As showers with multiple nozzles became more common, the Obama administration ordered the 2.5-gallon limit to be applied to each shower head, not each nozzle. Toward the end of Mr. Trump's first presidential term, he set out to redefine what constitutes a shower head. Previously, it had been defined in federal regulations as "any plumbing fitting designed to direct water onto a bather," meaning that a unit with multiple nozzles counted as a single shower head.

Update: Now With More Necrophilia
Outstanding, NYC. Simply outstanding.
Police are searching for a sicko accused of sexually abusing a man's corpse on a Manhattan subway, according to police and sources. The unidentified accused necrophiliac is sought by the NYPD for allegedly having sex with the dead man on an R train just around 11:45 Tuesday night, police sources said. He then left the Whitehall Street subway station in lower Manhattan shortly after midnight, sources told The Post. The deceased man, who has also not yet been identified, is believed to have died of natural causes, sources said. Investigators do not believe the two knew each other, the sources added. The person of interest identified by police is a heroin addict, his brother told The Post from his front door in the Bronx Thursday. His brother said his troubled sibling had been staying with him since he was released from prison a few months ago. He had been locked up for "a while" -- said his 56-year-old brother, though he could not remember if it was for robbery or assault. "I haven't seen him in a few days. He started staying out late. He has never done anything like this in his life -- not what they said he did. I don't think that he did that. He's not that type of person," he said. "They said he took his thing out and put it in the guy's ... yeah I don't think he did that he's not a pervert."Uh-huh.

Unbelievable. There is usually no way to actually reverse inflation. Once the dollar is inflated, you can't deflate it. All you can do is cut the rate of inflation to something acceptable, like 1% or lower. Prices will go up less slowly... but they will not actually fall.
Usually. Almost always. But the last month, prices actually fell 0.1%. This brings the yearly inflation rate down to 2.4%. Note that the Fed's target for an "acceptable" rate of inflation is around 2%. So Trump is on the threshold of officially beating inflation. (Though I wouldn't mind a little more deflation...)U.S. consumer prices fall for first time in almost three years
U.S. consumer prices dipped in March, defying predictions that Trump's proposed tariffs would trigger higher inflation. The decline in the Consumer Price Index marks the first monthly drop in nearly three years--and only the second since inflation spiked under former President Biden. Key Details: March's 0.1% decline in overall prices came as a surprise to economists, who had expected a 0.1% increase. Core prices--excluding food and energy--rose by just 0.1%, well below the 0.3% that had been forecast.
Ooooh, economists being surprised by every single thing that happens is TIGHT!
No one wants actual sustained deflation (a sustained drop in prices over months as the value of the dollar increases). If the value of the dollar starts going up, then simply hoarding dollars becomes a viable investment strategy. Just hang on to your dollars -- they're appreciating in value. This has the bad effect of making investment and risking money in business less desirable. Because what you hope to make from your investment now has to compete with the profit you can make from not spending or investing anything, as your dollars go up in value. But I doubt very much that we're in a deflationary stage. And a 0.1% increase in the value of the dollar for one month is no big deal. It happens from time to time -- just not in a sustained way. Still -- what an enormous change from Biden! Trump didn't just cut the rate of inflation in half, he didn't just bring it all the way down to zero... he actually reduced prices by 0.1%. And how did he do it? Apparently just by stopping the runaway spending under Biden, which all of us have been screaming caused the massive inflation in the first place, as Biden flooded the market with debased dollars he just printed up.
The price of energy dropped 2.4% for the month, led by a sharp 6.3% decline in gasoline. Other falling categories included airfares, used vehicles, motor vehicle insurance, and smartphones. After nearly three years of steady increases, March's report shows that prices aren't just rising more slowly--they're actually falling, marking a reversal in the inflation trend since Trump took office. Diving Deeper: Consumer prices fell in March, delivering a political and economic win for President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly promised to reverse the surge in inflation seen under Biden. The Consumer Price Index dropped 0.1% from February, the first month-over-month decline since mid-2021. The dip defied most economists' expectations and marked a significant shift from the persistent inflation Americans endured under Biden. "Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make America affordable again," Trump had vowed on the campaign trail. March's report gives weight to that promise, as the numbers suggest prices not only stabilized--but in some cases fell.

We need to fire all the RINO Senators.
The Freedom Caucus balked yesterday after seeing the Senate version, which barely trimmed spending at all. Trump and Johnson conferred with Senate Majority Leader John Thune and hammered out an agreement to get at least $1.5 trillion in reductions, although it's not clear what time scale that uses...I think it's pretty clear they mean that over a 10-year window, which is what they always mean.
Elon Musk was shooting for one trillion in cuts per year. The Senate has promised to find $1.5 trillion in savings -- but note that Grifter Washington always talks about budgets in ten-year windows. So what they're talking about is $150 billion per year, for ten years. And oh, by the way, they always lie even about that. They tend to claim they're planning for no cuts in the short term, years 1 through 6, but then HUGE cuts in years 7 through 10. Spoiler alert: We never get to years 7 through 10. Years 7 through 10 always remain 7-10 years away. Still, passing a budget does allow Congress to use reconciliation to pass a lot of stuff with a simple majority. It's the bill Trump wanted, at least.
The bill includes $4 billion in tax cuts and, of course, an increase in the debt ceiling of $5 trilly.
House Republicans on Thursday approved a budget framework allowing lawmakers to start ing President Donald Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill." The legislation will implement elements of Trump's domestic policy agenda, which includes tax cuts and increased spending on defense, energy, and border security.
The budget blueprint was approved Thursday by a vote of 216 to 214. Ultimately, two Republicans voted no. The vote is a victory for Trump and other Republican leaders who spent days convincing fiscal hawks within the Republican party to vote for the bill despite their frustration over the level of spending cuts included in the Senate version of the plan that passed on Saturday. The Senate framework outlines only about $4 billion in spending cuts. The House version seeks at least $1.5 trillion. Now that Republicans have passed identical versions of the framework in the House and Senate, they are able to unlock a special budget tool known as reconciliation -- a complicated process that allows them to avoid a filibuster in Senate and pass a final version of the legislation with a 51-vote simple majority.

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.
Oh... there might be an argument about Congress regulating the presidential elections, since electors are simply "chosen," but that is a fight worth having. It seems unlikely that the SCOTUS will reaffirm Congressional power to regulate some elections but not the presidential election. Regardless, it is up to Congress to act. But they probably won't because the marvelous status quo of the uniparty makes Congress wealthy, and almost entirely insulated from repercussions for their shady, grifting acts. Cleaning up the elections process would jeopardize that, and they won't risk it. If they do take up the banner of election integrity, it will be very interesting indeed to see who defects to the fascists across the aisle. In the Senate: Collins? Murkowski? McConnell? And in the House: Fitzpatrick? Bacon? Now is the time to act... there is no guarantee that the 2026 mid-term elections will turn out well for the forces of election integrity, which is shorthand for freedom and American Exceptionalism! Sure, if President Trump is successful in reorienting the economy toward domestic production and stopping the hemorrhaging of money we don't have to foreign manufacturers, then it is entirely possible that the mid-terms will be a referendum on a new American century! That sounds great! But why risk it. Right now, the Republicans have a bare-minimum majority in both houses, and the tone of the country seems supportive of a coherent election integrity policy that would merely fall into line with the rest of the free world. So stop dawdling and vote on a comprehensive bill; and call it something cool like The MAGA Voting Rights Act of 2025! Come on... a fella can dream! The Republican-led House is slated to hold another vote on the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote. As expected, the propaganda press and left-wing activists have resorted to spreading lies about the legislation to convince the American people that it should be opposed. But these lies are purposely designed to guilt Americans into sacrificing their right to free and fair elections. Here’s how to refute them. It's going to be a constant battle to fight the massive law fare campaigns pre and post elections by such characters as Marc Elias and others. Beyond that, the insanity of mail-in ballots that was forced down our throats courtesy of the fakedemic lockdowns and other voter integrity laws that were dismantled at that time especially in the key swing states and districts along with motor voter and the necessity to clean up voter rolls every X years to insure students who reside in college towns only temporarily, dead people, those over the age of 150 and others are prevented from voting early and often. Elsewhere, the continued reactions to the President's tariff regime is taking up the bulk of the headlines as the markets continue to fluctuate as they seek some sort of equilibrium. On the positive front, more nations are now ready to make deals to drop their barriers and tariffs in return for us to do the same, and with all of that, this happened:
U.S. markets surged late Wednesday following an announcement by President Donald J. Trump that he would ease tariff measures against most of America’s trading partners as the White House begins bilateral negotiations with around 75 countries—except for China, which saw tariff rates on its goods increase to 125 percent. The Dow Jones closed at 40,608.45, a gain of 2,962.86 points on the day—the single largest daily point gain in history. Meanwhile, the S&P 500, which saw significant volatility over the past week, saw nearly a 10 percent gain, closing at 5,456.90.An estimated 30 billion shares were traded on Wednesday, marking the heaviest—by volume—trading day in Wall Street’s history. The surge in trading almost entirely came after President Trump posted on Truth Social that he would pause his reciprocal tariffs—although not sector-specific tariffs on products such as steel—on all foreign nations, except China, with only the 10 percent global tariff remaining in effect while his White House begins negotiations with a number of countries on a new, more equitable trade system accounting for the interests of the United States.Trump is hanging tough with the Chi-Coms as he should considering their goal is absolute global political domination. Their zeal is positively Islamic.
A $1.9 trillion “tsunami” is headed for American industry — and it’s coming from China.WEll, there's lots of blame to go around insofar as previous administrations and myriad self-imposed artificial factors that drove up the cost of doing business here made offshoring our manufacturing to China and elsewhere at the expense of the American worker an easy decision to make. Tariffs alone won't address and solve this crisis, but it's a first step along with many others, like DOGE and immigration enforcement plus a reigniting of the AMerican entrepreneurial spirit and the notion of rugged individualism that has been slimed and stripped away from several generations of American youth courtesy of academia and the woke anti-American culture mongers.
The Communist country of 1.3 billion people has shifted that much cash into amping up its factories in just four years in an effort to overwhelm manufacturers around the world with an influx of cheap goods.
President Trump’s 125% tariff on all Chinese imports into the US — which he announced Wednesday as he paused steep duties on most other countries — is actually just the latest protective measure against China.
The European Union, Brazil, Mexico and Thailand have either imposed new tariffs in the last few months, or are considering such measures to protect their own industries from Chinese imports.
“The tsunami is coming for everyone,” said Katherine Tai, trade representative for former President Joe Biden, told The New York Times. Over the past four years, China has pulled money from funding housing construction and put it into building factories, with state-controlled banks granting industrial borrowers almost $2 trillion in extra financing, according to new data from China’s central bank, obtained by The Times. China is building new factories nonstop and outfitting old ones with the latest tech, churning out products from cars to phones to fertilizer at an unprecedented rate — and all bound for foreign shores.
The Times reported that China is set to overtake Germany with the world’s largest car factory. Chinese carmaker BYD is building not one, but two plants that are bigger than the current record holder in Wolfsburg, Germany. . . . . . Trump’s unprecedented tariff on Chinese goods could similarly shield the US from the coming wave.
Steep on cars, for example, have already stopped cheap Chinese EVs from decimating the American auto industry.
But it’s already too late for some local manufacturers. Chinese imports to Thailand have caused manufacturers in that country to plunge by 50%, ASEAN Briefing reported last year.
Beyond that, there are some very disturbing stories in the crime section, among them a Texas woman force feeding her pregnant daughter abrtion pills, a "mass" shooting in Virginia, a crazy shootout in LA, as well as a rash of teen suicides linked to some sort of "extortion" racket coming out of Nigeria.
Plus, lots more from around the world, across the nation and up your street , for your consideration this morning, And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day.

Top Story
- The cost to query advanced AI APIs has dropped 99.7% in the past 18 months. (Tom's Hardware)
That's a pretty dramatic shift. What's causing it seems to simply be competition.
Hardware costs have come down - a bit - and the new hardware is also more energy efficient - a bit.
Training costs for creating new models have soared, on the other hand - DeepSeek's bullshit notwithstanding - but investor money keeps pouring in to cover that.
