The Morning Report — 8/21/25

ReidJones.jpg

Good morning kids.

Be it resolved that Joy Reid is indeed a yammering, diseased dog turd.

“Their ancestors made this country into a slave hell, but they can clean it up now. Cause they got the Smithsonian, they can get rid of all the slavery stuff. They got PragerU, they can lie about the history to the children. They can’t originally invent anything, more than they were ever able to invent good music,” former MSNBC anchor Joy Reid claimed.

White people did invent a few things. Like Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the microchip and the video technology that Joy Reid uses to complain about the worthlessness of white people.

But white people have also invented some pretty terrible things: like Joy Reid.

Reid, maiden name ‘Lomana’, was, like Kamala, the daughter of foreign radical grad students who formed a relationship that ended, in the traditional Obama and Kamala style, with a deadbeat father going back to his country and leaving the American taxpayers to raise Joy.

“I got into Harvard only because of affirmative action,” she bragged. If Harvard hadn’t been so white (and Asian), it would have had no use for Joy Reid and she wouldn’t have gotten in.

All the cool white kids were majoring in Primitive Cultures at Faber College!

But that said, the question is are yammering dog turds born that way or are they made that way?

And speaking of the Smithsonian:

Liberals were up in arms this week after President Trump said he wanted a review of the Smithsonian Institute — saying their displays were too negative, and too focused on slavery.

But Trump isn’t trying to “erase history,” he’s looking to reverse a woke movement that has indeed rewritten the American story to highlight suffering rather than providing a balanced picture of our past. Trump’s criticism that the Smithsonian is overly focused on slavery is not unreasonable: In nearly every exhibit, critical race theory in general, or slavery specifically, makes an appearance. For instance, its new Benjamin Franklin exhibit on his innovations includes a whole section on slavery — with assumptions, but no proof, that slaves assisted Franklin in his electrical innovations. Even if they hadn’t, the curators argue that without their work around the house, Franklin couldn’t have spent the time on his experiments! Another example of the obsession with slavery comes from the National Portrait Gallery; nearly every early Founding Father’s description includes a statement on slavery. For example, the description for Thomas Jefferson includes the statement: “Although Jefferson once called slavery “an abominable crime,” he consistently enslaved African Americans, including his late wife Martha’s half-sister, Sally Hemings, with whom he had several children.” The overemphasis on the history of slavery is a fairly recent development, an offshoot of the Black Lives Matter movement. . .

. . . The problem with modern museums is not just about the obsession with slavery; it’s also about dishonestly painting all of American history as evil and full of horrors — with little or no redeeming qualities. For instance, in the Smithsonian’s American Indian Museum in NYC, George Washington hardly gets a mention, but his silhouette is used in a description of him as a “town destroyer” — supposedly a nickname that Native Americans still use to describe our first President. And yet there’s no mention in either of the American Indian Museums — in NYC or DC — about slavery practiced by Native Americans, both before Europeans’ arrival and afterward.

It's not just the museums. It all starts in the schools, where for nigh on 60 years our culture has been demeaned, disfigured and distorted in the drive to destroy the nation and society to take it over lock stock and barrel.

Is America as a nation and people defined by its low points or is it defined by its high points, which means how it corrected and overcame its low points. All decent, right-thinking moral and upright citizens understand and know full well it is the latter. The only reason for the Democrats/Leftosts/Marxists et al to gain and maintain power is to proclaim victimhood and oppression and constantly tear at the scars and scabs of the wounds they themselves created in the first place so as to create an atmosphere of fear and tension that explodes as we saw time and time again most horrifically during the summer of 2020 and now with the necessary and long overdue drive to rid ourselves of tens of millions of illegal alien foreign invaders. Divide and conquer was is and always will be the name of the game.

And with the relentless drumbeat of labeling President Trump and all of us who stand behind his Holy Cause to restore America as founded as Nazis, fascists, racists etc. etc., the fact that more and more people are turned off by the propaganda because it stands in sharp contrast to the facts on the ground and the way in which the past 8 months have shown the successes of Trump and Trumpism.

If Trump and Republicans are so evil and repulsive, then how to explain this?

The Democrat Party is hemorrhaging support with no end in sight, according to a shocking analysis of new voter registrations.

Fueled by President Donald Trump’s gains among men, younger voters, and Latinos in 2024, more new voters nationwide chose to be Republicans than Democrats for the first time since 2018, according to a report from the New York Times which relies on voter registration data compiled by L2, a nonpartisan data firm.

Perhaps more troubling for Democrats, the data suggests Democrat Party activists can no longer rely on the party’s tried-and-true methods to reverse the trend, leaving panicked party leaders and pundits unsure how to resurrect the party’s electoral prospects.

The numbers are staggering.

“Of the 30 states that track voter registration by political party, Democrats lost ground to Republicans in every single one between the 2020 and 2024 elections — and often by a lot,” the report reads. “That four-year swing toward the Republicans adds up to 4.5 million voters, a deep political hole that could take years for Democrats to climb out from.”

. . . No states – red, blue, or purple – are immune to the trend.

More voters are choosing to be Republicans.

“All told, Democrats lost about 2.1 million registered voters between the 2020 and 2024 elections in the 30 states, along with Washington, D.C., that allow people to register with a political party,” the report adds. “(In the remaining 20 states, voters do not register with a political party.) Republicans gained 2.4 million.”

Many blue states, like massive California, register voters by party while many red states, including Texas, do not, so the number of nationwide registered voters by party does not tell the full story. But in those 30 states with partisan voter registration, Democrats’ eleven-point edge over Republicans on Election Day 2020 plummeted to just over six points in 2024, an alarming trend for Democrats.

“I don’t want to say, ‘The death cycle of the Democratic Party,’ but there seems to be no end to this,” Michael Pruser, director of data science for Decision Desk HQ, told the Times. “There is no silver lining or cavalry coming across the hill. This is month after month, year

And it looks as if the Texas Flee Circus of the Dems is a complete bust as the state's legislature has indeed passed its new redistricting plan and the Dems will likely lose 5 seats. And the more the Dems protest this and as in California under the greasy greasball criminal Newscum, or attempt to gerrymander elsewhere, the more it will bite them in the ass.

As the great Victor Davis Hanson ponders . . .What Is the Democrat Alternative to Trump

Democrats rage at Trump’s every move but offer no real alternative—only fury, obstruction, and failed policies voters have already rejected.

With no alternative, the Democrats are set to embrace the full on insanity of electing this Islamo-commie Mamdani in NYC and his twin in Minneapolis.

On the one hand it makes no sense and yet at the same time it makes perfect sense. Given far too many people have been raised to believe that anyone with a "D" after their name is the same as FDR and/orJFK and the "R" after the name indicates literally Hitler. And yet as polling indicates, maybe, just maybe, the long hoped for sea change in American society, or at least the point at which the great reawakening takes hold may be upon us.

And as we all know, since evil never rests, its home in the Democrat Party and Leftist movement will not give up its hold on power or its drive to attain it absolutely and by any and every means at its disposal, will not surrender willingly.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Have a great day!

63 - @37

You left out science.

Atheism - accept only a naturalistic explanation for the existence of the universe and life on this planet. Billions of years. Chemicals got together and a single living cell was formed from which all life evolved.

Biblical - as given by God to, ahem, Moses to record. The universe, and all that is in it, including each "kind" of life on this planet, created in 6 days. God calls it very good and rested on the 7th day.
Genealogy, including life spans given.

Yes, that Georgia meteorite would be the same age as the solar system. But my guess would be they said around 4.5 billion years. Because radiometric dating is sooo very accurate.
Ever seen what kind of age they've given to rocks formed from lava from recent volcanoes? Like Mt St Helens? No?
Get out more.

72 They definitely let “personal devices” completely out of control. But it’s probably a symptom, more than a cause. They let the students get out from their control.

There’s only one basic method to have a single individual at the front of the classroom maintain control of 20 or 30 children and young adults. And they don’t want to do that. I don’t envy them, they have no support from spineless administration. It takes an act of congress to suspend or expel anyone. Because of federal confetti bucks showered on the district.

The whole thing turned into a racket, sadly. “We pretend to learn, and they pretend to teach”

100 t all starts in the schools, where for nigh on 60 years our culture has been demeaned, disfigured and distorted in the drive to destroy the nation and society to take it over lock stock and barrel.

One of the top functions of an HR department is cashiering out toxic employees because a few caustic malcontents can bring down the morale, introduce dysfunctions making it difficult for the average employee to drag themselves to work.

Unions are always a amplifier for hostile and negative energy; a culture of zero consequences that is always part of a government employee culture; general contempt and hatred for the customer.

140 OTOH, much of what we know about the cancer which is public education, we've learned from videos surreptitiously taken by students on those very phones. If I were a less trusting soul, I would suspect that this is the reason they're being banned... not out of concerns for the chirrens.

I would agree. Teachers don't care about a child's education at all. What they might care about (provided they don't have tenure) is the ratio of kids that pass the standardized tests.

Generation α is said to be embracing AI in the production of their homework (such as it is). Since Employers allegedly (according to AI sales and marketing types) are demanding AI savvy employees.

This would be a Win/Win/Win for allowing mobile-devices with connection to AI services to not only be in the classroom, but to be encouraged for use during tests so that the pass/fail ratio improves benefiting the teacher unions and their marketing.

If there is no "show of work" then there is no need to "work".

They also have metal detectors at every school, yes even elementary.

Questions about students being in such danger from those measures not being able to call even 911 in the event of a threat that justifies all of that security have gone unanswered.

The science ADVERTISING is settled. The global climate warming scam is nothing but an advertising campaign. Selling catastrophe-prevention goods and insurance. Buy an EV to save yourself and your children! Install solar panels to save yourself and your children! Clamor for your government to spend more and more of your taxes on The Green New Deal to insure you, your children, and your beach house against lethal rising temperature and hugely-rising oceans!

However, when you advertise for decades that catastrophe will arrive next month if you don't buy green stuff and green insurance today, you must deliver some catastrophe to keep the rubes scared.

They can't. All they can do now is advertise bigger catastrophes sooner. Eventually no one but idiots will buy what's advertised.

I think it was much more important in 2016 and a few years after because it was the only way to break through the MSM. And the yes, his style was effective because it was unique, in-your-face, pure Trump -- and completely different from anyone else in politics.

It's less important now because he has such an effective communication system in place. Not only does he have an aggressive WH Press team (out there setting the record straight ASAP), but all of his cabinet members are out there informing the public what they're working on, what they're accomplishing across social media, in the press, in person.

With past administrations, one would be hard-pressed to name more than 3 members of the cabinet. With this administration? You see and hear from them weekly, if not every few days -- and it's substance, not narrative.

277 More Fairfax County Public School news...

The restroom policy for them is...flexible...in the name of equality and the accommodation of those students who don't know what sex they are.

This policy has been outright banned by the Department of Education subject to the loss of federal funding. In the case of FCPS, we're talking approximately $160 million. DOE has sent FCPS a letter with a ten day notice for response before they are found in violation.

Our superintendent (who uses school funds to pay for her security detail...) has first complained that they didn't give much notice and their request for an extension has been denied. She then said the policy would not change because of [insert stupid talking points here]. She then said the policy would not change.

This is also the case in at least two other NoVA counties.

Her being political of course. Very doubtful DOE will somehow give FCPS a waiver, especially considering certain incidents that have happened in recent memory. Therefore she gets to blame Evil Trump AND push for either higher taxes or yet another school bond to make up the lost funding and probably more than was taken away.

FCPS is a dumpster fire.

Him consistently saying things people want to hear helps, but, again, most of it is white noise that never leaves the barriers of the politically obsessed.

This is something called coalition maintenance; the politically "obsessed" aka aware in a particular policy area like guns, schools, election integrity get attention from the big man.

In older times, the conduit between the big man and the interest groups were Beltway DC reps that might or might not share the actual interests of their supposed clients (see NRA for example). Tweets, etc. send the chief's message that I am aware of your plight, working toward addressing it, and publicly support what you do. Thence, the local 'obsessed' relay that message to others sharing that interest.

The left believes more or less in pagan word spells. After all, it works on them where they slavishly imitate those they believe are authoritative messengers for the blob. Quasi religious in nature except put D pols and media in place of chiefs of tribes and shaman.

Works at the basic lizard brain level for a lot of people that they do not want to be outgrouped, shunned, etc. and they want to be protected. So they turn to shamans to find out what rituals are needed and they turn to chiefs to protect their interests.
