The Week In Woke

A Cultural Enrichment Agent illegally entered England by boat and decided to Enrich British Culture by threatening to murder Reform Party leader Nigel Farage.

Just as Farage had somehow learned of Khan's videos, Khan learned about Farage's video featuring him as an example of the kind of people the UK should be deporting. He quickly made a response on TikTok. Here's the video in which he threatens to kill Farage. "Delete the video. This not good my friend. You not know me. I gonna come to England. I gonna pop, pop, pop, murder."

He also published another video in which he doubled down on his theat.

A subsequent TikTok post by Khan read: "I mean what I say" on an image of a GB News report about the threat against Mr Farage.

Khan was stopped when he eventually crossed the channel. He was interviewed and denied any intention to kill Farage.

In a police interview on 1 November last year, Khan said through an interpreter that he had attempted to come to the UK "10 times" and was in Dunkirk, France, when he recorded the video in which he is alleged to have made a threat to kill Mr Farage.

Khan told police: "I come here because I want to live here. I want new life. I don't come here because I want to kill Nigel Farage."

He also said that he had been smoking cannabis and was "high" at the time of posting the video.

Quick, give him a free apartment and lifetime of welfare before this Cancer Curer decides to go to another European country and threaten to kill people there.

As reading scores improve in red states thanks to the "Southern Surge" and their emphasis on scientifically-proven methods of reading instruction like phonics, they're falling in blue New England states.

Red states raised the bar, whereas blue states just lowered standards.

Massachusetts public schools were the best in the nation, and the rest of New England wasn't far behind, writes Christopher Huffaker in the Boston Globe. Ten years ago, Massachusetts students "led the United States across ages, subjects, and most demographic groups, despite wide achievement gaps," on the Nation's Report Card. Students in the Deep South, who came from much poorer families, were at the bottom.

Now test scores are falling in New England, rising in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Alabama, he writes. While leaders of the "Southern Surge" focused relentlessly on improving reading instruction, New England schools were lowering expectations, Huffaker writes. To end the Massachusetts Malaise, leaders must "override the wishes of popular and powerful teachers unions, and, most of all, stop resting on their laurels."

Karen Vaites and others have written about the Southern Surge in reading scores for months now, but it's an essay last week by Kelsey Piper, Illiteracy is a policy choice, that seems to have woken everybody up. "If you live where I do, in Oakland, California, and you cannot afford private education, you should be seriously considering moving to Mississippi for the substantially better public schools," wrote Piper in The Argument.

No, Mississippi isn't cooking the books, Piper and Vaites write this week, also in The Argument. With far fewer resources than most states and far needier students, these deep South states are showing impressive progress.

...

The "surge" states adopted comprehensive programs to train teachers in the "science of reading," adopt high-quality curricula and show teachers how to teach the curriculum well, Wexler writes.

Expecting teachers union members to do their jobs well is racist or something, you Racists (or somethings).

Huckster and flake Vivek Ramaswanay, the Guy Smiley of the Ganges, is now scolding the right for attempting to defeat the left and "own the libs."

This guy always stunk of the rankest opportunism. He was always a phony and a flake. And he'll soon be calling us racists for wanting to restrict H1-B's for Indians.

The truth is, we face a hard choice ahead for our movement. It is a fork in the road. It is a fork in the road for the future of the conservative movement. And it's a hard question to ask ourselves: Is our goal to defeat the left, or is our goal to save the country? Last year, I believed these goals were one and the same. But going forward, I don't think they quite are.

An Axios preview described his speech as "No more 'owning the libs': Ramaswamy pushes sharp break for GOP":

Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy on Tuesday plans to call on the GOP to embrace a less overtly belligerent and oppositional posture, Axios has learned.

According to his prepared remarks, Ramaswamy will say the conservative moment is at a "fork in the road" and urge them to abandon its fixation on "owning the libs" in favor of a less overtly confrontational posture.

"We can still stand for truth, while viewing those who believe in falsehoods not as our enemies who must be vanquished, but instead as our fellow citizens who have lost their way and must be shown the light," Ramaswamy will say.

"Not to berate them, embarrass them, and banish them -- but to pray for them, to talk to them, and to persuade them," he will add.

Trump fans liked him in the primaries because he was the guy "running for the nomination" who was in fact never running for the nomination at all, but always praising Trump and basically running to be a Trump appointee.

Raise your hand if you didn't see this coming. Now slap yourselves with the same hand, you Big Dummies.

A leftwing jag who is very, very exercised by Right Wing Authoritarianism is almost as upset by the left's headlong pursuit of political suicide.

During the 2010s [leftwing] sentiment swelled to a crescendo, but in the 2020s it has begun to wane. The popular outpouring of "antiracist" sentiment that characterized the "Great Awokening" has petered out, and with it has gone the feeling of overwhelming progressive cultural domination. Bari Weiss, who got run out of the New York Times for being insufficiently progressive, just got hired to run CBS News. Cancel culture is canceled.

...

Meanwhile, the activist energy that powered the smaller, initial version off BLM in the mid-2010s is gone now. That generation of activists has largely gotten exhausted and/or aged out. When the Supreme Court killed Roe v. Wade and banned affirmative action in college admissions, there was no major grassroots pushback. All the grassroots energy on the left now is invested in the Palestine cause, which is basically harmless to Republicans.

And the policy ideas that came out of the woke era mostly flopped. Black Americans did not like the country's brief experiment with anarchy in 2020, and became much more pro-cop, which put an end to "defund the police". The flood of illegal and quasi-legal immigrants that Biden allowed during his time in office ended up turning much of the country against immigration (at least temporarily). The trans movement is losing on key issues such as women's sports teams.

But in response to all of these losses, progressives have failed to moderate their views

[...]

...progressives have retreated to safe spaces where they still maintain the absolute cultural dominance that so intoxicated them in the 2010s -- universities, NGOs, a few companies, and the small social network Bluesky. There, they can wield some facsimile of the cancel-power they once enjoyed

[...]

Meanwhile, quietly and behind the scenes, progressives are still quietly pushing Democrats to support policies that no one outside the progressive bubble really likes.

This kind of thing renders progressives extraordinarily ineffective against Trump's anti-democratic blitzkrieg. It's also probably a big part of what makes the Democratic party so incredibly unpopular.

I saw Trump's Anti-Democratic Blitzkrieg open for Turgid Wrinkle Noodle at the Cow Palace in 1977.

The left's long romance with "revolutionary violence" -- aka terrorism -- is actual insurrection, writes Glenn Reynolds.

We live in ugly times -- made uglier, and ever more violent, by the institutional left.

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller didn't mince words this weekend: "There is a large and growing movement of leftwing terrorism in this country," he declared on X.

"It is shielded by far-left Democrat judges, prosecutors and attorneys general. The only remedy is to use legitimate state power to dismantle . . . terror networks."

Progressives like Stephen King shrieked "extremist!" in response, but example after example backs Miller's point.

In Chicago on Saturday, a mob of protesters surrounded ICE agents on a routine patrol, ramming their vehicle and boxing it in with 10 cars to frustrate immigration enforcement efforts.

Chicago officials allegedly ordered the city's police to stand down and not assist the federal agents -- even though one of the "protesters" was armed and shots were exchanged.

Disturbed Staten Island teen seen bloodied on gurney as he's charged with murder for allegedly decapitating mom's boyfriend

Armed resistance to US government officers executing the law, with police refusing to back them up? That was no accident.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker didn't condemn the violent resistance, but he did condemn the feds.

...

Sen. Charles Schumer openly threatened the Supreme Court, saying Kavanaugh would "pay the price" for overturning Roe v. Wade, shortly before Roske's assassination attempt.

Democrat after Democrat openly called Trump a fascist, a dictator and a mortal threat to "our democracy" -- and two different people came close to killing him before the 2024 election.

...

Democrats are forever telling conservatives their "rhetoric" could lead to violence. Apparently they meant violence from Democrats.

As I said earlier: The Democrat-Antifa-Media Cult keeps making the case that political violence is acceptable if you're angry enough.

I don't think they appreciate that we on the right are thisclose to agreeing wholeheartedly with them.

And then won't that be fun for them?

Last week, Cracker Barrell cut ties with the advertising firm "Prophet" which advised it "Go Woke, Get Stoked!"

Cracker Barrel is ending its partnership with Prophet, the consulting firm behind its failed rebrand.

The chain faced intense backlash after unveiling a new logo and redesigned stores that longtime fans said stripped away what they loved most about the brand.

Cracker Barrel's restaurants, long known for their kitschy Americana décor, were recast in a style critics called drab and soulless.

The uproar grew after the company dropped its iconic logo of an elderly man leaning on a barrel.

A March press release said Prophet was hired to redesign Cracker Barrel restaurants and lead a new brand marketing campaign.

At the time, the company said: "In collaboration with Cracker Barrel, they are focused on shaping a new brand vision that will enhance market share while preserving the company's unique heritage. This new strategy will inform brand communication, restaurant redesigns, brand marketing campaigns and a redefined employee value proposition."

Separately, Prophet CEO Michael Dunn pledged $4 million in 2020 for the firm's DEI initiatives, saying the company would "bring in Black team members across every level of the firm," hire a DEI-specific recruiter and provide $4 million in pro bono work to social justice organizations, according to a 2020 blog post.

Fox News Digital found no evidence that Prophet's DEI commitments were connected to Cracker Barrel's rebranding.

Makes sense, right?

Not to effeminate anti-Christian liberal extremist David French.

Now, a reminder: New York Times columnist David French explained, just over a month ago, that the controversy over Cracker Barrel's rebranding was an absurd fake crisis ginned up by right-wing idiots who were just pretending that something had gone wrong at the company. Along with the Sydney Sweeney thing, he concluded that we were watching some "completely frivolous and meaningless cultural disputes," examples of the way "right-wing media both mobilizes its base and bends political reality."

If you believed that the Cracker Barrel rebranding was poorly done and would alienate the company's customers, you were falling for an invented reality that was completely meaningless and frivolous. Then Cracker Barrel fired a bunch of managers and its rebranding consultant, abandoned the rebranding, and apologized profusely, while its stock plummeted.

If you listened to French, if you trusted the op-ed pages of The New York Times to explain the world to you, your understanding of the most basic outline of factual reality was flipped over, turned precisely upside down. He was only wrong about literally every single detail, completely missing what was happening, what it meant, and what would happen in the near future as a result of it.

To listen to this idiot is to abuse your own mind, trapping yourself in the confines of an absurd house of ideological mirrors. He is inevitably wrong, completely wrong, reliably wrong to the point of absolute and unyielding madness.

Now, the twist:

magachurchterrorists.jpeg

David French, 2022: Churches are terrorist training centers, and churchgoing Americans are preparing to attack the country in a vast wave of right-wing insurrectionist violence. When you drive past one of the Lutheran terror cells, you're looking at the next 9/11, because here comes the Christian nationalist insurrection that they're prepping for in the pews.

Hollywood Is Dying: One Third of All Hollywood Jobs Gone In Just Two Years

Sad!

If you work in entertainment, you probably heard some variation of this last year: "Survive 'til '25."

Things have been bleak. In a recent article from The Wall Street Journal, the reporting goes as far as to call Los Angeles' production prospects "a disaster movie."

The numbers are stark.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, around 100,000 people were employed in Los Angeles County's motion picture industry at the end of 2024. Two years earlier, that figure stood at 142,000.

That's a loss of 42,000 jobs--nearly a third of the workforce--in just 24 months.

The decline shows no signs of stopping.

...

FilmLA, the official film office for the city and county, reported that on-location production was down 22% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.

Television production has been especially hard-hit. The region reached a peak of 18,560 annual shoot days in 2021. By 2024, that number had plummeted to just 7,716. It's a 58.4% decline in three years.

Paul Audley, president of FilmLA, told NBC Los Angeles that 2024 was "the worst year on record, excluding COVID."

The first quarter of 2025 looks even worse. Every major category of production, from television dramas to commercials, logged fewer shoot days compared to the year before.

What's driving this collapse? Multiple factors have made this unemployment stew.

We have not yet recovered from the WGA and SAG strikes. The streaming bubble has burst, with major companies pulling back on content spending after years of explosive growth. The fires uprooted many on the west side of the city, and rebuilding is slow, so some have opted to leave town.

I've got a theory: Maybe it has something to do with Hollywood basically being Antifa Theater Kids now.

Hollywood's big prestige drama for the fall is One Battle After Another which is expliclty pro-left-wing terrorism and anti-ICE. It never uses the word "Antifa" or "ICE," but its leftwing terrorist heroes are plainly Antifa, and the even Reichwing government agency they're blowing up and shooting at is plainly ICE.

Sean Penn is part of this, you won't be surprised to hear. He plays, get this, an evil right-wing law enforcement official. Despite his insane levels of racism, apparently he's got a thing for darker-skinned minority women. (Oooh, maybe that's why he's so racist! Now that's some outstanding character psychology.)

He used to have sex with a Virtuous Terrorist Minority Woman and had a Secret Racist Love-Child with her and, per Ethan Van Sciver, wants to erase all evidence of that. Van Sciver is being coy because he doesn't want to spoil everything but I think it's pretty clear he means that this evil Reichwing LEO wants to kill his former lover and his own child so that he can run for office in Texas or something.

It's got real Four Quadrant Appeal!

Health and BRAINZZZ GAINZZZ

Commenters kept telling me that diet soda was almost as bad, or as bad, as regular sugar water soda, and I kept not believing them.

A new study says that diet drinks with artificial sweeteners cause fatty liver disease -- a disease that 30% of the public has -- just like sugar water drinks do.

People could be at higher risk of fatty liver disease from both sugary sodas and diet drinks, a new study says.

In fact, artificially sweetened drinks might pose a greater threat to liver health than sugary beverages, researchers reported Monday at the United European Gastroenterology's annual meeting in Berlin.

The team also found that replacing these drinks with water significantly reduced people's risk of fatty liver disease.

I mean, it sounds so drastic, but I might have to give it a shot.

...

Fatty liver disease occurs when fat accumulates in the liver, which over time can cause liver damage. It's the most common chronic liver disease, researchers said, affecting more than 30% of people worldwide.

I was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease -- i.e., Fatty Liver Disease because you're fat, not because you drink liquor -- five or six years ago.

After I shed a bunch of weight, I went in for a follow-up, and had no more fatty liver disease. So it can be cured just by shedding fat.

I don't know to what extent I have it now. I guess I have to get it checked again.

...

Results show that drinking about nine or more ounces of artificially sweetened beverages every day was associated with a 60% increased risk of fatty liver disease.

Likewise, drinking sugary beverages daily was associated with a 50% increased risk, researchers said.

"Our study shows that low- or non-sugar-sweetened beverages were actually linked to a higher risk of (fatty liver disease), even at modest intake levels such as a single can per day," Liu said.

Drinking water instead of an artificially sweetened beverage lowered a person's fatty liver disease risk by more than 15%. Likewise, replacing sugary beverages with water reduced people's risk by nearly 13%.

...

On the other hand, artificially sweetened beverages might affect liver health by altering a person's gut microbiome, driving cravings for sweets and stimulating insulin secretion, Liu said.

Via Instapundit, who says that we're probably close to a cure for obesity: scientists discover a switch controlling hunger.

Through the use of advanced fluorescence microscopy and single-cell imaging, researchers discovered that a protein called MRAP2 plays a key role in shaping how MC4R is positioned and behaves inside cells. Fluorescent biosensors and confocal imaging revealed that MRAP2 is essential for moving MC4R to the surface of cells, allowing it to more effectively send appetite-suppressing signals.

This discovery reveals an additional layer of control in how hunger is regulated and could inspire new therapies that imitate or adjust MRAP2's activity to treat obesity and related metabolic diseases. Professor Heike Biebermann, project leader at CRC 1423 and co-lead author of the study from the Institute of Experimental Pediatric Endocrinology at Charité, notes that this international and interdisciplinary effort combined multiple experimental methods and perspectives to uncover key physiological and pathophysiological insights into appetite regulation with potential clinical impact.

VodkaPundit: It's been six years since weed was legalized in Ohio and the damage report is in.

A new Wright State University study showed that more than four out of 10 deadly car crashes included a driver with high levels of THC in their bloodstream.

The study, just published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, reviewed data for 246 deceased Ohio drivers, and found an average THC blood level of 30.7 ng/ML -- 15 times the state's legal limit -- in 41.9% of dead drivers. Ohio is a fairly typical state in most regards, so I'd take that 42% as a good-enough approximation of trends in states with legal weed.

Almost a dozen years have passed since legal weed first went on sale in Colorado and Oregon, so the numbers, high as they are (heh), don't surprise me. But the report is also frustrating in the context that it lacks. What percentage of fatal crashes involved weed before 24 states legalized recreational sales?

The closest we get to that side of the issue is this item from the ACS writeup: "The rate of drivers who tested positive for THC did not change significantly before or after legalization (42.1% vs. 45.2%), indicating that legal status did not influence the behavior of those who chose to drive after use."

The study only reaches back six years -- by which time medical marijuana, often a fig leaf for recreational use, had already been legal for four years. Prior to medical (and then recreational marijuana) becoming more widely available, there wasn't nearly as much testing -- making the data frustratingly incomplete.

Green discusses the potency of today's weed. I remember reading about this when the Legalize Pot movement was really making strides. Pot growers had really cultivated the marijuana plant, just like we did with corn and grapes and wheat, making it produce far more "fruit" than it ever had in nature. I remember DEA agents warning people who thought it would be cool to just light up a J in the street: Today's pot is definitely not the pot you remember from 1977. It's basically an entirely new species.

Green notes that 36 years ago, the pot in his area was prized across the country for having a super-strong THC content of 14-15%. Today, merely-average pot has a 21% TCH content.

Frogurt -- a name-brand grown and sold in Michigan -- tests at 41%. Something called Future #1 is up to 37% THC, and the Permanent Marker brand runs at an average of 34%. Back in the day, the hard-to-find 15% stuff was the much-sought-after "one-hit weed." The average pot today is 50% stronger. But for people willing to pay a little more, they can get stuff four times more powerful than much of anything your typical 1990 dorm-room smoker enjoyed behind the Redwood Curtain.

Speaking of Mind-Expanding Drugs: I have some drugs to recommend.

I've been craving some kind of nootropic since I first heard of them -- well, since I saw Bradley Cooper change his entire life by taking a fictional nootropic (brain-boosting drug) in Limitless.

Months ago I saw Thomas DeLauer touting creatine as a nootropic.

I also saw Rhonda Patrick talking about dosing herself with 20 grams of creatine when she wanted a mental boost.

She claims it's like speed. I've tried speed -- well, Ritalin -- for the nootropic effect and I will say, no, it's not like speed. If you take speed, you know for a fact that your brain has been hit with a drug. It's potent stimulant that leaves no doubt you have been stimulated.

Creatine's effect is more subtle.

Note that weightlifters usually take around 5mg-10 grams per day (for the effect of boosting energy storage in cells). So 20 grams is a high dose.

For the past couple of months, I've been trying to get at least 5-10 grams of creatine per day and sometimes trying to get 20 grams when I could remember to do it. Sometimes I would just have 5 g. Other days, ten. But I tried to hit 15-20.

Based on my own N=1 study: I do notice significantly improved focus and ability to just churn out work when I get 20 grams of creatine. As I've started to notice the effects, I've been better about trying to make sure I get 15-20 grams consistently.

My usual working day is 6 to 7 hours. I'm not saying I work efficiently for 6 or 7 hours. I do a lot of dicking around, a lot of scrolling through stories without ever bothering to post about them, and just wasting a lot of time. The amount of time-wasting I typically do is, well, embarrassing and just wildly sub-optimal.

When I've got a good 15-20 grams of creatine, I work 4 and a half or five hours. I'm not really working better or harder, it's just that I don't waste as much time. No mid-day perusal of Busty Lesbian Porn. I'm more able to just say, "Here is the pile of stories I have to crank out, so let's get to it."

I think that's a benefit. I haven't tried it with trying to work on that novel I've picked up and put down one hundred times before, but I'd like to.

As you may know, creatine is cheap and legal and is well-tested and there are few negative effects. I've seen people say "Talk to your doctor first if you have kidney problems," and of course pregnant women and kids should probably not use it at all.

This guy talks about possible health problems, including the possibility that low-quality producers may sell you powder containing a lot of dangerous heavy metals.

One problem with it is possible GI distress. I don't know if this is a real problem or just one that Mac put into my head. Assuming it's a real danger, you probably don't want to just start on a 20 grams per day regimen and you wouldn't want to take 20 mg all in one sitting. Your GI system may need to build a tolerance for it. I built up to the 20 g over a couple of weeks and usually have 5 g per drink (coffee or diet soda, or, in the future, just water) for the first couple of hours of the day.

Update: I had to go to Ikea earlier today so I drank two cups of coffee and took about 8 grams of creatine over an hour. I did in fact get a bout of Intestinal Urgency. I don't know if it was the coffee or creatine or just both at once. But I think Mac might be right. Or it could have been caused by eating Ikea Swedish meatballs early in the day and then doing the Ikea Death March for four hours.

Back to post:

It's not a wonderdrug. It's not the Limitless drug, unfortunately. (Damn I want to take that pill.)

But I'm pretty sure there is a real benefit. The reason weightlifters and athletes use it is because it helps cells regenerate energy (ATP) during exercise. It also does this for brain cells. So maybe the better focus I'm experiencing is due to brain cells being able to regenerate ATP more quickly. I guess it just helps in recovery when you burn energy, including in your brain.

Obviously I'm not a doctor and you should consult with your blah-blah before making any medical blah-blahs.

But if you try it, let me know after four or six weeks if you think there are genuine BRAINZZZ GAINZZZ or if I'm just experiencing a placebo effect.

Since I'm now in Joe Rogan mode: Say, pyramids are weird, right?!!?! The blocks are so big they only could have been moved by enslaved Bigfeet under the direction of Space Reptiles, right?

So: Do you have any GAINZZZ?

My own GAINZZZ: No real GAINZZZ, because I've had a lot of personal work I've had to do, but I also haven't regained the weight I lost during the fast. I'm counting that MAINTAINZZZ as GAINZZZ.

OMB Director Vought: "The RIFs (Reductions in Force) Have Begun"

The mass layoffs of Democrat Deep Staters begins.

President Donald Trump's administration on Friday afternoon announced that it has begun firing federal workers, OMB Director Russ Vought wrote on X.

"The RIFs have begun," Vought posted, on day 10 of the government shutdown, referring to reduction-in-force plans that the White House has long contemplated.

"Can confirm RIFs have begun and they are substantial," an OMB spokesperson told POLITICO. "These are RIFs not furloughs."

It's unclear how many people were laid off, and Vought provided no further details.

But an administration official granted anonymity to discuss the layoffs said they hit agencies including: Interior, Homeland Security, Treasury, EPA, Commerce, Education, Energy, HHS and HUD.

And Vought's post appears to follow through on a threat to inflict more political pain on Democrats.

Trump on Thursday said his administration would target programs backed by Democrats.

"We're only cutting Democrat programs, I hate to tell you, but we are cutting Democrat programs," the president said during a Cabinet meeting. "We will be cutting some very popular Democrat programs that aren't popular with Republicans, frankly."

...

In a memo to agencies two weeks ago, OMB instructed Trump administration officials to prepare to carry out reduction-in-force -- or RIF -- plans during the shutdown, targeting employees who work for programs that are not legally required to continue or clash with Trump's policy priorities.

I don't know if this is the bargaining chip we've imagined it is. The Democrats will just demand that the layoffs be undone as their payment for ending the shutdown.

Active duty military personnel deployed in war zones will begin missing their paychecks this week.

Or, as Charles Schumer says, "Every day (of the shutdown) gets better for us."

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is drawing fire from Republicans after declaring that "every day gets better for us" Democrats during the government shutdown, which dragged into its ninth day Thursday.

"Democrats couldn't care less whether military families miss a paycheck tomorrow. In an interview posted this morning, the Democratic leader said, 'Every day gets better for us,'" Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) fumed on the Senate floor.

"This isn't a political game. Democrats might feel that way, but I don't know of anybody else that does," he declared. "The longer this goes on, the more the American people realize that Democrats own this shutdown."

Thune cited a new Morning Consult poll that showed Democrats are getting more blame for the shutdown. The poll showed 43 percent of voters blamed Republicans for the shutdown while 38 percent blamed Democrats, but the number of respondents who blamed Democrats was up 6 points compared with an earlier poll.

Thune made his comments in response to Schumer's comments in an interview with Punchbowl in which he asserted: "Every day gets better for us."

Stop all welfare payments and pay the military instead.

Cultural Enrichment Agents Are Arrested in Boston for Cultural Enriching Multiple Police Officers

So much wonderful third-world barbarism and the endless cultural enrichment we're suffering.

Thirteen people were arrested Tuesday night in connection with a pro-Palestinian protest that turned violent on the Boston Common and left four police officers injured, including some with broken bones, according to officials.

Protesters "turned on police" at approximately 6:50 p.m. when they began to move from the Common to the area of Tremont and Winter streets, Boston Police said.

"At that time, protesters turned on police, kicking a marked cruiser, assaulting officers, blocking traffic, and setting off devices causing red smoke in the air," Boston Police spokesman Sgt. Det. John Boyle said in a Tuesday night statement.
Protesters scuffle with officers at Chicago anti-ICE demonstration

Eight men and five women were placed under arrest. No one had been booked as of shortly before 9 p.m.

Four police officers were injured in connection with the incident. Two officers were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Police have preliminary reports of officers with broken bones, but all injuries are considered non-life-threatening, Boyle said.

"Another night of violence against police officers in Boston tonight," said Larry Calderone, president of the Boston Police Patrolmen's Association.

"Our officers were attacked, assaulted and sent to the hospital with injuries. Completely despicable and totally unacceptable. We were outnumbered and understaffed for the event," he continued.

Remember when Democrats pretended, for four hours on January 6th 2021, that they were Rilly Rilly Opposed to Violence Against Cops?

For four blissful hours, violent riots were not the voice of the voiceless.

A judge set "high bail" for the pro-Palestinian invaders and brigands.

According to the media.

Two more protesters charged in the outburst of violence during a pro-Palestine march and rally Tuesday have been held on $10,000 bail. A number of others were held on $7,500 and $5,000.

This is "high bail"? January 6th "paraders" were held in solitary confinement pre-trial and some were sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The high bail amounts are the latest as public officials respond to the chaotic protest Tuesday that left a Boston Police officer with a broken nose and likely in need of reconstructive surgery.

Osama El Khatib, 26, of Watertown and Styx Hatch, 19, of Boston were both held on $10,000 bail.

Osama, huh?

Always remember that bail bondsmen only expect you to put up 10% of the cost of the bond, with them fronting the rest. (Their fee is that 10%, which you don't get back).

So basically this is $1000 fine.

So high a fine for Osama!

Two other defendants were held on $7,500 including: Atlanta Carrig-Braun, 24 of Boston; Haley Macintyre, 24, of Dorchester.

Held of $5,000 bail were Madeline Weikel, 27 of Watertown; Jacob Pettigrew, 22 of Malden, and Gabrielle Smith, 28 of Cambridge.

Wow this bail is so high I can't even believe it.

In a statement Wednesday, Suffolk County DA Kevin Hayden condemned the violence.

"These defendants were not in court today because they were protesting," Hayden said. "They were in court because they committed crimes. If you assault police and commit other offenses you're going to be arrested and prosecuted, period.

Pro-Palestinian "protesters" did damage estimated at $400,000 to statues and other property at Case Western University.

Although the school's president promised the jihadists would be prosecuted, in fact, they were let go with no criminal prosecution.

They were, however, required to pay for the damage they caused. Well, not even all of it. They were required to pay the school $350,000 for the $400,000 in damage they caused, and then they would be set free with no jail and not even a criminal record that would jeopardize their precious "student" visas.

And these entitled foreign savages are still complaining that they're being mistreated.

[T]hey made a plea deal which meant they would have no criminal record at all so long as they paid for the cost of the cleanup.

The 11 Case Western Reserve University students and activists indicted for pro-Palestinian vandalism on campus last year have paid more than $350,000 in restitution to the university to clear their names.

The payments are part of a legal agreement with the Cuyahoga County prosecutor's office under the pre-trial diversion program. If all stipulations are met, the defendants' criminal records will be cleared...

Three of the students still face expulsion via university conduct proceedings running parallel to the legal case...

Mullin-Vanneste said he was offered his diploma in exchange for "full cooperation," meaning identifying the people involved in the incident.

"When I rejected this, they shut down negotiations completely. It doesn't seem to just be about policy or accountability. This is about making an example of us to stifle any dissent, and about silencing the movement for Palestine."

These babies are getting off easy and still whine that they are being punished too harshly. They really expect to walk away from this with zero consequences so long as they pay back the cost of the cleanup. But why should the school continue to allow students who broke the law and defaced the campus to study there?

At least one of them is in trouble at another school after Case Western filed a complaint about him. Again, he acts like this is shocking behavior and not bare minimum consequences for his behavior.

Ilya Shapiro: Impeach the Dangerous, Soft-on-Political-Assassinations Judge Who Gave the Man Who Planned to Murder Three Supreme Court Justice Just 8 Years in Prison

And remember -- Biden judge Deborah Boardman premised giving this would-be triple Supreme Court assassins a sentence far below federal sentencing guidelines because he decided in the past couple of years that he's Akshually a Woman, and Boardman, to stick it to Trump and the conservative justices he plotted to kill, "reasoned" that if he wouldn't be allowed to serve his sentence in women's prison he should get a lesser sentence.

This is straight-up incitement to leftwing transgender assassination, letting transgender killers -- who have murdered children and adults recently -- that Love Is Love, as long as you kill the right people.

Ilya Shapiro is usually pretty milquetoast but he sees this as the winking approval of left-wing assassins that it is. (By the way, "assassin" can mean either a killer or an attempted killer. It is correct to call this man an assassin.)

Judge Deborah Boardman's lenient sentencing of Nicholas Roske--the man who plotted to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh--represents not merely poor judgment but a fundamental breach of judicial responsibility. She should be impeached.

I don't say this lightly--and I've never before called for the impeachment of a federal judge. This constitutional mechanism exists to preserve the rule of law from genuine abuses of power, not to punish decisions we disagree with. But when a judge's conduct reveals a disregard for her constitutional duty--and actively endangers the federal judiciary individually and collectively--we must consider the remedy the Framers provided.

Roske wasn't a confused protester or an online provocateur. He traveled cross-country with a gun and burglary tools, arriving at Justice Kavanaugh's home in the middle of the night on June 8, 2022, prepared to kill him. He confessed that he acted out of anger over the Court's likely reversal of Roe v. Wade. Were it not for his last-minute hesitation, the United States would have faced its first targeted killing of a Supreme Court justice.

Yet Judge Boardman imposed an eight-year sentence, far below federal guidelines and lenient even by the standards of some nonviolent offenses. Such a response to a premeditated assassination attempt on a sitting justice cannot be squared with the seriousness of the crime or the need to deter political violence.

The record also suggests that Judge Boardman's leniency was influenced, at least in part, by ideological sympathy. In her sentencing remarks, she cited Roske's mental-health struggles and his alleged transgender status as mitigating factors, noting that one of President Trump's executive orders would affect Roske's ability to receive gender-transition medical care. However sincere her concern, the courtroom is not the place for identity-based indulgence. A judge's duty is to apply the law evenhandedly, not to validate the defendant's self-expression.

This case reinforces the growing perception that America has a two-tiered justice system. Conservatives are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for political trespasses--some January 6 defendants were sentenced to more than 20 years--while left-wing violence is rationalized or excused. Had a Trump supporter armed himself to kill Justice Sonia Sotomayor, does anyone think the sentence would have been as light?

Judicial legitimacy depends on the assurance that the law applies equally, regardless of a perpetrator's ideology. If a conservative justice's would-be assassin is treated as a victim rather than a criminal because his politics or gender identity align with progressive narratives, then equal protection of the law is a hollow promise. To call for impeachment here is to reaffirm that justice must be blind.

...

Judge Boardman's conduct is doubly alarming against a backdrop of escalating political violence. The assassination of Charlie Kirk; the texted desire for the death of a political rival by Jay Jones (the Democratic nominee for Virginia attorney general); and the rise in ideologically motivated intimidation on and off campus reveal the thinning line between rhetoric and violence.

Judges should serve as bulwarks against that trend, not its enablers. If the law means anything, it must mean that political violence--against anyone, for any cause--is met not with sympathy, but with justice.

I've defended judicial independence my entire career. But independence is not impunity. When empathy eclipses duty and identity politics intrudes into the courtroom, judicial independence is corrupted.

Via John Sexton. Sexton quotes another jurist on the need for impeachment.

In a year of preposterous district court decisions, this one takes the cake: Boardman gave a slap on the wrist to someone who planned and attempted the worst sort of political terrorism, it seems, because of her ideological sympathies. The decision is so potentially corrosive to our civic peace that Congress would be right to consider impeachment proceedings against Boardman...

What Boardman did in the Roske sentencing is different in kind from simply bending the law to rule against a disfavored party; she seems to have openly excused political violence on ideological grounds. She did this both in her substantive sentencing decisions and in her given justifications at sentencing...

At sentencing, Boardman reportedly was concerned about whether Roske would be placed in a women's prison and given hormone replacement. She wondered openly whether Roske's claimed transgender status should affect his sentence, and why, three years after the fact, Roske is actually a threat to the public. She observed, in the end, that she was "heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roske family accept their daughter for who she [sic] is." Boardman even speculated that Roske's terrorism was seeded in the challenges he had being transgender in a religious family. The left-wing terrorist became the real victim once he announced he was a "she."...

The government is appealing this sentencing. But it will first be reviewed by the left-leaning Fourth Circuit.

Here's the problem: If the Fourth Circuit affirms, then the next appeal is, of course, to the Supreme Court.

Justice Kavanaugh will be pressured to recuse himself because he was the target of this psychopathic assassin.

And the assassin planned to kill two other justices -- Coney-Barrett and Alito, if memory serves.

Conservative justices do recuse themselves when they have a conflict. (Left-wing justices do not.)

So that will mean the case will be decided by the three "conservative" justices who weren't targeted -- including the liberal Roberts -- and his three left-wing allies.

CIA Operative Abigail Spanberger Doubles Down on Supporting the Child-Murder-Supporting AG Candidate and Letting Class III Sex Offenders Masturabate In Front of Little Girls In Girls Locker Rooms

The left-wing CIA Operative who is totally Not Racist refused to even look at Winsome Earl-Sears during the debate. Not a single glance. Not a single answer to a question. Not a single acknowledgement that there was another human being on the dais with her.

You know, usual left-wing "In this house..." racism.

Of course she refused to withdraw her endorsement of Cop Killing Enthusiast Jay Jones, running to be Virginia's top law enforcement official.

Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears came out swinging against what she called former Rep. Abigail Spanberger's dodges on calls for fellow Democrat Jay Jones to drop out of the attorney general contest after texts envisioning the murder of a Republican leader came to light.

Throughout the debate, Spanberger mostly declined to make eye contact with Earle-Sears and ignored her when she was interrupted.

Earle-Sears repeatedly addressed Spanberger directly during both women's answers but did not receive any direct responses in return.

Early on, Earle-Sears interrupted Spanberger, asking her to give a direct answer. The Democrat told the moderators she was "aware of these messages" and that they were "absolutely abhorrent."

"I denounced them when I learned of them and I will denounce them every chance I get," Spanberger said, as Earle-Sears interjected once more to attempt to press for a straight answer.

"I didn't hear an answer on [the Jones] question," co-moderator Deanna Albrittin told Spanberger.

Why do we still allow left-wing propagandists to "moderate" debates? The "moderators" attempted to draw a comparison between Spanberger's refusal to call on Jones to withdraw, and Winsome Earl-Sears' backing of Trump.

They actually equated Spanberger's endorsement of Jones with Trump's much-abused statement that Liz Cheney wouldn't be so quick to send men to die in wars if she had to face enemy rifles herself. The left-wing moderators demanded she be more forceful in denouncing Trump.

Since Earle-Sears had already called for Jones to drop out, the moderators asked her instead about President Donald Trump's stated "hate" for political opponents after the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Earle-Sears later turned to Spanberger and admonished her for refusing to give a yes-or-no answer on Jones, asking whether it would take Jones "pulling the trigger" to actually condemn what he had said about then-House Speaker Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoah.

That exchange below. Note that the CIA Operative stares ahead and even S M I R K S as Earl-Sears asks what it would take for her to disavow Jay Jones.

MORNING RANT: The Year Without Hurricanes, Despite NOAA Predicting an “Above Normal” Hurricane Season

Hurricane Flag.png

2025 is shaping up as the “Year Without a Hurricane Season.” We are now well past the peak of hurricane season, and there have been no hurricane landfalls, as overall tropical activity has been minimal.

Of course, the professional climate hysterics at NOAA had predicted a very active, “above normal” hurricane season last spring, because that is the only forecast they are allowed to make. Fealty to the Church of Climate requires that all long-range weather forecasts of any type always be “worse than average” due to global warming.

“NOAA predicts above-normal 2025 Atlantic hurricane season; Above-average Atlantic Ocean temperatures set the stage” [NOAA Press Release – 5/22/2025]

NOAA’s outlook for the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, which goes from June 1 to November 30, predicts a 30% chance of a near-normal season, a 60% chance of an above-normal season, and a 10% chance of a below-normal season.

The agency is forecasting a range of 13 to 19 total named storms (winds of 39 mph or higher). Of those, 6-10 are forecast to become hurricanes (winds of 74 mph or higher), including 3-5 major hurricanes (category 3, 4 or 5; with winds of 111 mph or higher). NOAA has a 70% confidence in these ranges.

As shown in the graph below from Accuweather, the frequency of tropical storms and hurricanes is highest from mid-August to late-September. To have an above-normal hurricane season, the peak months of hurricane season should have been very active.

Accuweather Peak Hurricane Season.png

That was not the case. 2025 has turned out to be a very rare year - one in which no hurricanes made landfall in the U.S. by the end of September.

“First hurricane season in 10 years that no hurricanes have made landfall in the US through the end of September” [Accuweather – 10/01/2025]

But not only were there no hurricanes making landfall during the peak of hurricane season, there was an unprecedented period of zero tropical activity at all, not even a tropical depression (a storm with winds below 39 mph that has some level of circulation.)

“The Atlantic’s remarkable 20-day quiet period finally ends” [Yale Climate Connections]

According to Michael Lowry, the period August 29–September 16 has never before gone without a named storm or tropical depression since satellite data began in 1966. On average, four named storms and two hurricanes form each season during this period.

It was in 1966 that satellites made it possible to identify and monitor tropical storms beyond the range of hurricane hunter aircraft. This obviously increased the number of named storms, since those storms that spun in the open Atlantic and then dissipated had previously gone unnamed. But in 2025, there was an unprecedented lack of activity in the Atlantic during the peak of hurricane season.

The Morning Report — 10/10/25

GazaZulu.jpg

Good morning kids. As I semi-... Meh fully-snarkily predicted yesterday with the arrest of the Palisades Fire arsonist "No doubt he believed in Climate Change/Gobal Warming so he had to burn Southern California to the ground to make us apostates see the truth!"

And this morning, Lo and behold, nota bene:

Jonathan Rinderknecht, the suspected arsonist arrested this week in connection to the destructive Pacific Palisades fire earlier this year, allegedly ranted about President Trump and climate change on social media.

Meh, a prediction like that doesn't make one the offspring of Kreskin and Jeanne Dixon. It just means you've been paying attention to what's been in our face for years.

And not to beat a dead dromedary, while it is certainly a wonderful thing that the Israeli hostages who have been abused at the blood-soaked claws and fangs of their bestial Islamic captors for just over two years are perhaps to be freed at any moment thanks in no small part due to the efforts of both President Trump, and by the fact that the IDF has utterly devastated Hamas and perhaps some of its leadership not just in Gaza but in Iran and Qatar with their recent airstrikes and other secret and not so secret ops to decapitate their top leadership

Now that said, the big question is what did Israel have to give up in return for the release of the living hostages and for the remains of the hostages that the savage Muslims no doubt are desecrating by using them as fetishes in the worship of their Satanic deity.

And Psaki-Psircling back to my thoughts on paying attention to what has been in our faces for years.

This is NOT a hopeful sign at all of things to come.

The United States is reportedly sending 200 troops to Israel to oversee implementation of a ceasefire between Jerusalem and the terror group Hamas.

No U.S. troops will be sent into Gaza, according to the Associated Press. The service members will staff a “civil-military coordination center” set up by U.S. Central Command in coordination with partner nations and nongovernmental organizations.

The coordination center will monitor the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The Israeli security council voted to approve the first phase of a peace proposal on Thursday, officially enacting a ceasefire that includes the release of hostages held by Hamas and a military pullback from Israel.

The ceasefire comes after Israel and Hamas negotiators hammered out an initial agreement in the Egyptian seaside city of Sharm el-Sheikh. Israeli and Hamas officials met through negotiators. Foreign diplomats from the United States, Turkey, and other countries converged on Sharm el-Sheikh as the two sides drew close to a deal earlier this week.

Does President Trump not remember nor understand the lessons of the Beirut Marine Corps Barracks, Gulf wars 1 and 2 and the complete disastrous debacle of Afghanistan? As I suggested, he seems to not understand nor is able or willing to articulate the nature of Islam itself.

That Hamas is allowed to even continue to exist in any way shape or form, is an absolute infamnia. And now we're engaging yet again in nation-building and Democracy Projects. Sorry, Mr. President this is NOT what I voted for the past three elections. And yet, here we and you are.

On Oct 7, 2001, the United States began an ill-fated campaign to ‘nation build’ Afghanistan.

Now 24 years after that anniversary and 2 years after the Oct 7 attacks by Hamas, we may be on the cusp of an even worse nation-building program in Gaza that seems to have learned absolutely nothing from the disastrous nation-building operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Right down to resurrecting former UK PM Tony Blair to head ‘nation building’ in Gaza. . . America should not be in Gaza. We should not be sending aid, nation building, policing or negotiating anything in that particular hellhole or anywhere in the Muslim world. If we haven’t learned that lesson after 7,000 dead and over $1 trillion spent, when will we finally learn?

The only way it would work would be the absolute prohibition and prevention of the practicing, preaching and teaching of Islam anywhere within 10 billion light years of Planet Earth. And as that sadly is a non-starter, so too is this madness of sending US troops to Gaza. Let Israel turn it into a glass parking lot, or retake it and reincorporate it back into Israel proper, as to have abandoned it 20 years ago in the name of land for peace was as much of an insane folly by the Sharon government as is our nation-building delusions.

On that note, we once again sadly and perfectly segue into the other head of the Hydra attempting to devour the last vestiges of America as founded: Democrat/Leftist/Socialist/Progressive Satanism here in the good old US of A:

We’re talking millions upon millions of Democrats who’ve been radicalized to believe that burning buildings, terrorizing neighbors, and killing opponents are reasonable acts.

This adds still more evidence to the pile about the violent tendencies of “peace and love” leftists who now control the Democrat party – something we have been tracking at I&I for years. (See, for example, “Will Left’s Violent Tendencies Lead To U.S. Breakup Or Dictatorship?” March 16, 2021, or “Left-Wing Rage: Don’t Pretend It Doesn’t Exist,” Aug. 18, 2023.)

Just a couple of weeks ago, researchers found that in the first six months of this year, left-wing terrorist attacks were already outpacing those from the far right – before Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the spate of anti-ICE violence, and other targeted political attacks by leftists.

What’s more, there’s evidence that the left’s attraction to violence isn’t just a result of their fears about Donald Trump or their concern about the future of democracy, but their warped moral compass.

One research paper found that “conservatives have more favorable opinions of liberals than liberals have of conservatives, and thus conservatives extend more empathy to liberals in times of need.”

Translated: leftists have a strong (but wholly misguided) sense of moral superiority over conservatives, which can easily be used to justify violence.

As I and many others have stated over the past few years, we're not voting our way out of this, and that despite the miracle ascendancy of Donald Trump and please God MAGA as a bona fide movement that represents the point at which American society rejected the insanity of the Leftist enterprise to transmogrify this great Republic into just another Socialist mass grave.

With that in mind, I once again defy CBD's image of me as depressive and actually present a hopeful sign:

Black Chicagoans are taking to social media to welcome President Donald Trump’s deployment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and national guard troops to the Windy City to clean up the city’s streets and deport criminal illegals. . . While some may dismiss Bovino’s video as “propaganda,” there is no denying that many members of Chicago’s black community are grateful for his presence and that of ICE or the National Guard in their city.

One Chicago resident, who says she is the wife of a retired Chicago Police officer, welcomed Trump’s immigration efforts and called for local Democrats to be “held accountable” for the dangerous sanctuary policies that have so badly impacted Chicago.

I wonder what Black Chicagoans would say about this particular Black Chicagoan:

Chicago’s Confederate Mayor, Brandon Johnson, was asked Wednesday if he would want an illegal alien deported if that illegal had raped his wife. The insurrectionist refused to answer.

Attention Willie Horton, your limo awaits, along with Brett Kavanaugh's would be assassin's abduction and rape kit in the trunk!

And dear GOP, the TV ad that no doubt would be censored produces itself!!!!

Have a great weekend!

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued and incredibly generous support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Top Story

  • Intel has taken the wraps off Panther Lake, its new laptop processor family due in January. (Tom's Hardware)

A full announcement is expected at CES and general availability by the end of the January.

It includes new performance and efficiency cores, a low power core that isn't described in detail yet, and a new Xe3 graphics engine that provides a preview of the upcoming Celestial discrete GPUs.

Also, while Lunar Lake was one size fits all, there are three different versions of Panther Lake:

The cheapest version has four P cores and four LP cores, four Xe3 graphics cores, supports soldered or socketed RAM, and has eight PCIe 4.0 and four PCIe 5.0 lanes.

The version for high-end laptops with dedicated graphics has four P cores, eight E cores, four LP cores, four Xe3 graphics cores, supports soldered or socketed RAM, and has eight PCIe 4.0 and twelve PCIe 5.0 lanes.

And finally a model for fast laptops without dedicated graphics has four P cores, eight E cores, four LP cores, twelve Xe3 graphics cores, supports soldered RAM only, and has eight PCIe 4.0 and four PCIe 5.0 lanes.

So you has to pick and choose. There is no model that gives you everything.

Though potentially the last of these can support CAMM2 modules to allow for expandable LPDDR5X RAM, and four lanes of PCIe 5.0 is enough to drive a mid-range laptop GPU.

It's also supposed to user 30% less power than Lunar Lake thanks to the move from a 3nm to 1.8nm process.

Heroic dog leads police to the location of his mistress, a grandmother who collapsed while walking him.

A loyal dog flagged down cops and helped them rescue a missing grandmother after she fell over during their walk.

The four-legged hero, named Eeyore, led officers with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office in Florida right to the injured woman.

The police were out looking for the 86-year-old grandmother after receiving a missing persons call at around 10.30pm on September 25, the Miami Herald reported.

Bodycam footage showed the moment Deputy Devon Miller responded to her family's distressed pleas for help.

Her concerned husband told Miller that his wife had failed to return home after walking Eeyore more than an hour ago.

The video showed Miller searching for the missing woman before she spotted the couple's dog in the street.

Eeyore, who is named after the donkey in 'Winnie-the-Pooh', directly approached the patrol car.

'Where's your mama? Show me where your mama is,' Miller could be heard asking.

Deputy Devon Miller was sent out to look for the missing 86-year-old woman when she spotted the dog, named Eeyore

Eeyore then led the deputy through a yard and straight to the injured woman lying on the sidewalk.

Miller radioed the paramedics for the woman, who was 'alert and conscious.'

The injured woman was stunned upon being rescued. As they waited for the paramedics, Miller explained that Eeyore led the way.

'The dog brought you?' the woman asked Miller. 'He wouldn't leave. He kept coming back to me.'

She added: 'I'm not even his owner. I'm his grandmother!'

The injured woman was taken to the hospital for further evaluation, according to the police.

The sheriff's office posted the touching video, writing: 'Sometimes heroes come with four legs and a wagging tail!'

Quick Hits

"Big Tish" James indicted for serial mortgage fraud.

New York state Attorney General Letitia James was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Virginia on charges of bank fraud and making false claims to a financial institution, according to the Department of Justice.

The indictment was handed up in the Eastern District of Virginia, where former FBI Director James Comey was indicted Sept. 25 on charges of lying to Congress and obstruction of justice

"No one is above the law. The charges as alleged in this case represent intentional, criminal acts and tremendous breaches of the public's trust," US Attorney Lindsey Halligan said in a statement. "The facts and the law in this case are clear, and we will continue following them to ensure that justice is served."

...

If convicted on both counts, James faces up to 60 years in prison and a fine of up to $2 million.

She bought the three-bedroom, one-bathroom home in August 2020 for roughly $137,000, most of which was financed with a $109,600 loan that prohibited it from being used as a rental investment property, prosecutors alleged.

That allowed her "to obtain favorable loan terms not available for investment properties," they noted in the five-page filing, that saved her "approximately $18,933 over the life of the loan."

When a Post reporter visited the Norfolk home in April, neighbors said they had never seen James at the property.

Meanwhile, James' tax forms designated it as a rental that recorded thousands of dollars in additional income.

Norfolk property records reviewed earlier this year by The Post show James later granted power of attorney to her niece Shamice Thompson-Hairston on Aug. 17, 2023, authorizing the purchase of the Virginia property -- for which they secured a $219,780 mortgage.

Thursday's indictment puts the timeline of the alleged bank fraud scheme from August 2020 to January 2024 "for the purpose of influencing the action of OVM Financial, a Fannie Mae-backed lender, upon an application for a loan."

The New York AG "represented and affirmed in uniform residential loan applications and related documents that the Peronne Property would be used as a secondary residence, when in truth and fact, as JAMES then knew, the property was intended and used as an investment property with no intended or actual personal occupancy or use by her," the indictment alleged.

From the Department of Islamic Cultural Enrichment:

Two men on trial in UK over alleged plot against Jewish community

This is the terrorist propaganda network Reuters, so you should know that when they say "two men," they mean two Muslims, and when they say "alleged plot against the Jewish community," they are in fact talking about a scheme to use assault rifles to stage a Paris 2015 style attack, killing "hundreds" of Jews.

Also, the Cultural Enrichment Agents have nothing to do with the Cultural Enrichment Agent who just rammed his car into a synagogue. Or, at least, they have never met.

They just all enjoy invading Western countries and murdering Christians and Jews. For some reason. Some kind of a coincidence, I gather.

Two men plotted an Islamic State-inspired attack on the Jewish community in northwest England with the aim of "killing hundreds of innocent people", British prosecutors said on Wednesday at the start of their trial.

Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, are charged with preparing terrorist acts, while Walid Saadaoui's brother Bilel Saadaoui, 36, is charged with failing to disclose information about acts of terrorism.

All three have pleaded not guilty and are on trial at Preston Crown Court. Judge Mark Wall told jurors that the case had nothing to do with last week's deadly attack on a synagogue in Manchester and the timing of the trial was coincidental.

Yup, just a pure coincidence.

Except this is not a coincidence. This is Enemy Action. We blew right through "the third time" sometime in the early 70s.

Prosecutors say Walid Saadaoui and Hussein had "embraced the views of the so-called Islamic State ... (and) were prepared to risk their own lives" in order to become martyrs.

They make 'em sound like propeh 'eroes, don't they?

Walid Saadaoui had arranged for two assault rifles, an automatic pistol and ammunition to be smuggled into Britain, with a further three weapons and more ammunition to be delivered, when he was arrested in May 2024, prosecutor Harpreet Sandhu said.

Sandhu said the assault rifles were similar to those used in a 2015 attack in Paris which killed 130 people, and were "capable of causing untold harm".

"Untold harm was precisely what Walid Saadaoui had planned to cause, together with the defendant Amar Hussein," Sandhu said, before he was interrupted by Hussein shouting from the dock: "How many babies?"

Sandhu said that Walid Saadaoui and Hussein's plan was to "identify a mass gathering of Jewish people whom they could attack", with a third man they thought was called "Farouk".

"In addition, they intended to kill any law enforcement or police officers who got in their way," Sandhu said.

The vicious communists of the Canadian government are going to murder 30 of the most beautiful animals in the world -- beluga whales -- because of their ideology. They can't afford to keep the belugas. China has offered to take them for use in a Sea-World type exhibit, and Canadians are so drunk on Marxist ideology they've decided that murdering these lovely creatures is preferable to having them swim around to applause from humans.

A shuttered Canadian amusement park said that without an infusion of cash it will have to euthanize 30 beluga whales after a government official blocked it from sending the marine mammals to a Chinese theme park.

Marineland, the aquatic theme park located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, laid out the dire situation in a letter Friday to Canadian Fisheries Minister Joanne Thompson, The New York Times reported.

Thompson announced days earlier that she denied Marineland's request to export the belugas to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom theme park in China because it "would have meant a continued life in captivity and a return to public entertainment."

She further said that she was following requirements of the Fisheries Act meant to prevent the exploitation of marine mammals.

"Like many of you, I am angered that these whales have lived a life of captivity and as a result their health has deteriorated," Thompson said. "As Canadians, we know that whales belong in the ocean, not in tanks for our amusement."

You despicable cunt. So you're going to fucking murder highly intelligent creatures?

Thompson told CBC News that she had visited the closed Marineland facility and concluded the whales belong in the ocean after she "looked the belugas in the eyes."

At least she has The Science (TM) on her side, huh?

Belugas, in the wild, enjoy playing with humans.

Belugas, again in the wild, seek out humans to play with them and get pets. And if you drop your phone while you're filming them, they'll swim to the bottom of the sea to recover it and give it back to you.

THESE ANIMALS DO NOT DISLIKE HUMANS.

And for that sin: They must be massacred.

Marineland's business model struggled after a federal law passed in 2019 that banned keeping whales, dolphins and porpoises for breeding or amusement, according to the CBC.

The theme park said there is no suitable ocean "sanctuary" or facility for the whales. Meanwhile, Marineland said its financial situation continues to crumble, leaving it unable to meet the whales' costly care.

Of course they didn't bother to write in a grandfather clause so that belugas or dolphins already in captivity could be kept alive until their natural deaths, because these vicious psychopaths are nothing but ideology, rage, coercion, and murder.

Sure we'll kill the animals we claim to want to protect, but the important thing -- the only important thing -- is that weaklings and sub-morons get to dominate and bully other people so that they can feel powerful.

So much Cultural Enrichment happening in NYC's subways/Murder Dungeons that I can't even keep up.

A deranged crook with a mile-long rap sheet allegedly confessed to savagely beating a stranger to death outside a Brooklyn subway station -- coldly telling cops he didn't like the way the victim "looked at him," sources revealed Wednesday.

David Mazariegos, 25, was charged with murder in the senseless Tuesday afternoon assault near the Jay Street-MetroTech Station, law enforcement sources said.

The creep flashed a sinister, partially toothless grin Wednesday as he was carted out of a Manhattan courthouse, where he was first arraigned on charges from a past case and his dramatic arrest with a samurai sword in Times Square hours after the brutal slaying.

"Why'd you take my planet?" Mazariegos raved outside the courtroom when asked why he killed the man.

Sources said the sicko allegedly copped to attacking 64-year-old Nicola Tanzi in downtown Brooklyn because the hapless man held a subway gate door open for him -- an act of kindness that the hotheaded hoodlum told cops he disliked.

A shockingly brutal attack followed, with the assailant repeatedly pummeling the victim's face and stomping on his head up to 15 times, sources said.

The assault lasted 10 minutes before the sadistic attacker took Tanzi's wallet and ID -- which delayed his identification by police -- and left him battered and unconscious near Lawrence and Willoughby streets, according to sources.

The brutalized man died roughly an hour later in New York-Presbyterian Hospital Brooklyn Methodist.

Tanzi, who had lived in Brooklyn for over 20 years, worked in security and planned to retire next year, his pals the The Post.

"We lost a good friend. He was a really good guy," said Carmina Racaro, owner of a flower shop near Tanzi's Bensonhurst apartment. "He would come here for espresso, ask 'How are you?' He was happy."

Racaro said Tanzi originally hailed from Bari, Italy, and was a regular church usher during the Italian-language church services at the Catholic St. Dominic parish. He also belonged to an Italian club in Carroll Gardens, friends stated.

Tanzi's alleged attacker, of the Bronx, has at least 33 past arrests, including both sealed and unsealed cases, and is listed on the city's transit recidivist database, sources said.

Typical Democratic Voter Inadvertently Explains the Great Mystery of Our Time

Did you ever wonder how the Democratic Party got so crazy? For example, how is it that the governor of Illinois is inciting violent mobs against federal immigration authorities and meanwhile, in Virginia, every Democrat is rallying to the defense of Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, who openly fantasized about murdering political opponents?

To summarize briefly: Bad causes attract bad people.

To understand the symbiotic relationship between toxic political movements and their toxic supporters, my advice is to first read Eric Hoffer's 1951 classic, The True Believer, especially Part 2: "The Potential Converts." Next, you should read Friedrich Hayek's The Road to Serfdom, focusing on Chapter 10, "Why the Worst Get on Top." Among the personal experiences that led me to comprehend this phenomenon was being swarmed by a mob of "Occupy" protesters in 2011. If you ever had the misfortune to be in close proximity to a zombie horde like that, you would never doubt that the fundamental problem of the Democratic Party is that its grassroots "base" is composed of dangerous lunatics.

If you ever needed a reason to vote Republican, this is it: Democrats are the party of people who celebrate terrorist massacres of innocent Jews.

All of which is preamble to introducing you to the person calling herself "Cloud," who describes herself as "Pisces / 26 / ATL / Immortal Angel Femboy / Cosplayer" on an Instagram account with approximately 8,000 followers. If ever anyone needed a Kiwi Farms LOLCow file . . .

cloudthemaniac.jpg

This summer, "Cloud" went viral with a video denouncing Taylor Swift's engagement to "MAGA-adjacent" Travis Kelce:

"I can already feel myself regretting making this video. If ten people are sitting at a table, and one of them is a Nazi, and the other nine people are not telling the Nazi to fuck off, then you're at a table with ten Nazis. When Taylor Swift first started dating Travis Kelce and Travis Kelce was so open about his 'respect' for Donald Trump, I already knew we were reaching the beginning of the end, right? When she was posting photos with, like, other NFL wives and girlfriends or whatever, and they were all open MAGAs, and Taylor was happily posing with them on Instagram, I knew we were at the beginning of the end. I just didn't know how long it would take for the general populace to catch on that it was the beginning of the end. You cannot be friends with people who have different opinions on you when those opinions are life and death for other people -- when the Supreme Court ruling today has decided that certain people's lives are genuinely worth more on paper than others. This is a black-and-white issue. I'm sorry, but there is no nuance when it comes to Trump. You're either chill with the guy who has death camps in El Salvador or you're not. And the only reason I'm making this video is because I've been very open about how much I love Taylor Swift during the last few years. So I do feel obligated to come on here and say she is MAGA -- or at least, MAGA-adjacent. And I'm sorry, as a trans person, if you're Nazi-adjacent, that's still a Nazi to me. Do with that info whatever you will."

Oh this pyrsyn is trans? I would never have guessed.

Violence is the logical conclusion of a syllogism built on such premises, and good luck trying to convince Democratic voters that their belief system is based on dubious premises and fallacies. Having convinced themselves that they are "on the right side of history," they consider it a hate crime to disagree with them. This fanaticism attracts bad people to the Democratic Party banner, and the bad people expect their party to represent their beliefs, which is why the Democrats are so crazy.

You know how sometimes Republicans, particularly of the Boomer/Bush variety, say that "We think lefties are wrong, whereas lefties think we are evil" with a smug grin like they're some kind of moral paragons?

Do you still subscribe to that? Not me. I think they're evil and I wish nothing but ill on them and I want nothing to do with them. No, I won't disown family members or friends they way they do. I'll make exceptions. Some friends may cheat on their wives or do drugs or behave in ways I don't like, and I'll make allowances, because they're friends or family members.

But strangers? No, I want nothing to do with them. I do not want to share a country with them.

They are evil, and it is repugnant and counter-productive to pretend otherwise. They are mentally-ill, stupid, destructive vermin who are destroying the last little bit of our civilization that still functions.

Turning Point USA Will Stage Its Own Counter-Super-Bowl-Halftime-Show, Featuring Pro-American and Wholesome Acts

This is how you do it.

I think the NFL should just be boycotted into bankruptcy but obviously I am losing that argument.

If we're not just going to turn our backs on this woke federation of criminals, then I guess draining them of some viewers during halftime is an okay alternative.

Patriots have said no thanks to upcoming NFL Super Bowl halftime singer Bad Bunny after his latest diss against America, with Turning Point USA announcing an alternative halftime show for the big game in February.

The NFL is apparently on a mission to disregard what their fans want after picking the anti-ICE singer, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, for the 2026 show. In response to the backlash, the singer (who sings almost entirely in Spanish) thumbed his nose at those upset about him being chosen when he appeared on "Saturday Night Live" earlier in October.

During his appearance, the Puerto Rico-based singer started out his monologue in English but changed to Spanish, telling Americans they had four months to learn that language if they want to understand what he's saying at his Super Bowl halftime show, as RedState reported.

The Party of Groomers Claims Another Victim: NC Democrat Charged With Statutory Rape of Child Between 13 and 15; Denied Bail Because He Attempted to Use His Connections to Find Out the Location of His Accuser

Oh, and I don't just mean he groomed the child he raped.

I also mean he supports Groomer Legislation preventing parents from finding out if teachers at school are grooming them for transgenderism.

North Carolina state Rep. Cecil Brockman was arrested on Wednesday and is facing multiple felony counts related to sexually abusing a 15-year-old child.

Brockman, a Democrat serving his sixth term in the state House, is accused of engaging in a sexual act with a minor on August 15, according to BPR.

The records say that Brockman, 41, engaged in a sexual act with a 15-year-old. He faces two counts each of indecent liberties with a child and statutory rape of a child who is 15 years old or younger.

A magistrate's order denying Brockman bond in the case says he is a state representative and has "attempted to use his status to gain information on the whereabouts of the victim."

The order also says that Brockman made attempts to contact the juvenile victim, including in the hospital.

The Pallisades Arsonist, Murderer of 12 and Destroyer of $150 Billion in Proparty, Donated to Biden and Threatened to Burn Down His Sister's House (When the Kids Were Inside It)

Whatever we do, we must never send criminals to prison or lunatics to the asylum. That would be Letting Trump Win.

Pallisades inferno arsonist Jonathan Rinderknecht donated to Biden:

The man accused of starting the devastating Pacific Palisades fire earlier this year allegedly donated to Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign. Federal authorities say 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht has been charged with maliciously setting one of Los Angeles's most destructive wildfires, which killed multiple people and destroyed thousands of structures.

This confirmed Democrat also threatened to burn down his sister's house.

When her children were inside.

The alleged firebug accused of starting the Palisades blaze threatened to burn down his sister's house and shoot his brother-in-law while their kids were inside, authorities said.

The threats concerned Rinderknecht's family so much that they moved out of the house to get away from him, according to feds.

The disturbing revelations came during a Thursday morning court hearing for Jonathan Rinderknecht, 29, accused of igniting the most expensive wildfire in U.S. history.

Rinderknecht moved from Los Angeles back to his home state of Florida after allegedly starting the blaze that would grow into the Palisades Fire.

He lived with his sister and brother-in-law, where he continued a pattern of unhinged behavior, the ATF agent said.

Neighbors confirmed to The Post that they saw Rinderknecht at the 3-bed, 2-path $500,000 home, which is located in a gated community outside Orlando.

Two kids were moved out of the house after Rinderknecht came, due to concerns over the alleged firebug's rapidly declining mental health, according to the testimony.

Trump Signs Proclamation That We Will Celebrate Columbus Day on Monday (Not American Indian and Indigenous Peoples Day)

"Columbus Day -- we're back, Italians!"

This has special resonance for me, being descended from a long line of people who enjoy taking Mondays off.
