Democrats are anxious to rebuild their party on the heels of President Trump's victory in November. But they have a major problem as they try to refashion their brand: The money isn't there. Democratic donors -- from bundlers to small dollar donors -- say they are still angry about the election results and uninspired by anything their side has put forward since then. "I'll be blunt here: The Democratic Party is f‑‑‑ing terrible. Plain and simple," one major Democratic donor said. "In fact, it doesn't get much worse." A second donor was equally as pointed. "They want us to spend money, and for what? For no message, no organization, no forward thinking. ... The thing that's clear to a lot of us is that the party never really learned its lesson in 2016. They worked off the same playbook and the same ineffective strategies and to what end?"

Douglas Wilson, a North Carolina-based political consultant who has worked on fundraising for Democratic races, said donors have been "semi on the fence" over whether to contribute again so freely. And some donors, Wilson said, don't feel like Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill are "fighting back hard enough" for larger-scale reforms. "This is having a trickle-down effect," Wilson said. High-level donors are less likely, the strategist said, to give when they're not sure what the plan is. Some have said that they don't believe Democrats can win against Trump-style candidates, so they're sitting things out for now "Folks are saying right now, 'What's the Democratic Party to me as an investment?' I'm hearing from DNC [Democratic National Committee] members, they don't really believe where we're at right now. They don't believe that we can counter Trump, so why lose dollars?" said the strategist.
The controversy began when GB News reporter Steven Edginton shared on X that Crenshaw made the threat after an interview earlier this month. According to Edginton, when he asked Crenshaw if he had ever met Tucker Carlson, Crenshaw responded, "I would kill him if I saw him." When Edginton laughed, Crenshaw reportedly reiterated, "No seriously, I would kill him." After Edginton's post, Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly questioned Crenshaw about the accusation. Crenshaw responded dismissively, writing, "lol, no." However, less than 30 minutes later, GB News released a video that contradicted Crenshaw's denial. The footage showed Edginton asking, "Have you ever met Tucker?" as the two removed their microphones. Crenshaw responded, "No, we've talked a lot on Twitter. If I ever meet him, I'll f*cking kill him." Edginton laughed, but Crenshaw continued, "No, seriously, I'll kill him. He's the worst person I've ever met."

What is the proper role of a pediatric physician? Core pediatric training largely focuses on normal growth and development of children. Understanding normal progress allows the physician to recognize deviations from normal. The pediatrician should help guide children from birth through childhood, and eventually to becoming sound, functioning adult members of society.
Somewhere along the way some in the pediatric community lost the plot and abandoned that core principle. I believe that this began along with the emergence of Adolescent Medicine as a subspecialty within Pediatrics. In its early days Adolescent Medicine took the stance that teens deserved some degree of autonomy. Teens being teens, this unsurprisingly led to a three-party conflict involving parents, teens and physicians over all sorts of issues (drugs, alcohol, sex, you name it). The doctor's role eventually shifted from being a mediator to being a partisan arbiter who always took the side of the child. Validating the feelings of the child, even if their choices became self-destructive, became paramount. With the emergence of "gender dysphoria" as the greatest thing since the hula hoop, adolescents have learned that being a bully brings results. Parents and doctors alike, in their eagerness to please the child, are susceptible to intimidation. These days a threat of "If I don't get my way I'll kill myself," only has to be implied to get a result. "Center Right" Party in Germany Wins Elections, Vows to Not Close the Borders
The fake "center right" party won the election. They made noises about cracking down on illegal immigration, but, as you can see in the video below the fold, their leader and the next German PM vows that "no one is talking about closing the borders."
The "far right" party, AfD or Alternative for Germany, came in a strong second at 20%, receiving its highest vote share ever, will have... zero participation in the new government. That's because the CDU vowed to not form a government with the "far right" (they're far right because they oppose unlimited eternal mass migration from the third world) AfD. The "Center right" party, the Christian Democrat Union or CDU, is the party of Andrea Merkel, whose "Wilkomen" policy of allowing mass migration without even the most basic vetting has plunged Germany into crisis. Note that they do not have a majority of the seats in Parliament, or the Bund I guess the huns call it, so that means they will have to form an alliance with another party to secure a majority and form a government. Because the CDU abides by the "cordon sanitaire" or "firewall" policy that all the Euro Regime countries do, refusing to form governments with any party that's "far right" (again, meaning "against unlimited mass migration from Islamic countries"), that means that this "center right" party will form a coalition government with... either the German Socialist Party and/or the German Green Party, who are themselves big champions of unlimited third-world mass migration. You might wonder: Why not just start a new party that isn't "far right" but still opposes open borders? Well, silly, because any party that opposes open borders is "far right" and subject to the "firewall" policy of excluding closed-border parties. So the "center right" party will be pursuing a socialist, mass-migration open borders agenda. But they've kept those dirty "far right" voters out of power. And what happens when the German government collapses again because the "center right" party cannot agree with its socialist and green partners? Well, we go through the same process again: a government is allowed to govern without a majority, citing an emergency, and they stage another election in which the will of the people will again be thwarted, and the "center-right" party again forms a coalition with the leftwing open borders parties. How long can this inherently unstable situation persist for? Merz, the 69-year-old incoming Prime Minister, also wants a "firewall" against the US:Oh sure, CNN, he's a real "old school conservative." In an email Saturday, Trump loyalist and newly-minted FBI Director Kash Patel instructed his staff to "pause any response." "FBI personnel may have received an email from OPM requesting information," Patel said. "The FBI, through the Office of the Director, is in charge of all of our review processes, and will conduct reviews in accordance with FBI procedures. When and if further information is required, we will coordinate the responses. For now, please pause any response."Of course Lisa Murkowski objects. The GOP should censure her, not just for this but for being clearly a Democrat on every single issue. The liberal Senator from Utah -- why do Mormons keep electing liberals? -- also urges Musk to have more "compassion" for federal workers.

"If Elon Musk truly wants to understand what federal workers accomplished over the past week, he should get to know each department and agency, and learn about the jobs he's trying to cut," moderate Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) griped on X.
"Our public workforce deserves to be treated with dignity and respect for the unheralded jobs they perform. The absurd weekend email to justify their existence wasn't it."
Speaking on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday, Sen. John Curtis (R-Utah) said the SpaceX billionaire needs to have more compassion. "I don't think this is a request that is that difficult," Sen. Elon Musk warned on Monday that federal employees who have not complied with President Trump’s return-to-office directive will be placed on administrative leave. Musk stated that workers had received ample warning and that the new policy would take effect immediately. His warning follows a Saturday announcement requiring employees to report their weekly accomplishments or risk termination.

Workers at the LGBTQ+ charity were told on Thursday that restructuring would take place, and that only roles with dedicated funding would be safe. Simon Blake, the chief executive of Stonewall, made the announcement in an office-wide Teams call, which was said to have left its 114 staff "shellshocked". Sources said they believed up to half of the workforce could be made redundant in the move, which they were told would "secure the future of Stonewall for the long term as a significant LGBTQ+ organisation able to deliver impactful campaigns and legislative change across the UK and further afield". Insiders believed the announcement was linked to decisions made by Trump over the provision of foreign aid. Blake has previously warned of the impact Trump's move would have on Stonewall's operations. Funding from the US came to Stonewall through the Global Equality Fund (GEF), administered by the US state department, which has given the charity more than half a million pounds in the past three years. On Monday, an MSNBC insider told The Post that staff working for Capehart and Phang were informed that their weekend shows will be canceled. The source spoke shortly after The Guardian reported that Mohyeldin's program will be taken off the air. His show "Ayman Mohyeldin Reports," which airs on the weekends at 7 p.m., will broadcast its final episode on April 20, according to the UK paper. An MSNBC spokesperson confirmed the shakeup when contacted by The Post.As you probably know, Comcast-Universal is putting MSNBC and a bunch of other dying cable channels up for sale. They're scrambling to make this basketcase presentable for sale.

MSNBC has canceled Joy Reid's evening news show and held a "tense" meeting with her staff after the news was leaked to the press. The final episode ofThe ReidOut will air this week, The New York Times reports. Her slot will be replaced by a show led by a trio of hosts: Democratic strategist Symone Sanders Townsend, former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele and journalist Alicia Menendez. They currently host The Weekend, which airs on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Rebecca Kutler, the network's newly-appointed leader, made the call amid larger plans to overhaul MSNBC's programming, according to the Times. Now, media journalist Oliver Darcy reports Reid's staff found out they were losing their jobs in a tense and emotional 30-minute impromptu meeting Sunday morning. Staffers were reportedly frustrated they learned about the show shutting down from media reports, rather than directly from leadership. Reid has hosted a 7 p.m. show on the network since 2020. She had been with the company since 2014. The network has also removed Alex Wagner from her weekday evening spot, and Darcy reports Kutler held a "similar" meeting with the show's staff. However, Wagner is expected to stay with MSNBC as a contributor. Now, many are mourning Reid's departure. "I owe the television part of my career to Joy Reid, as do so many other Black voices y'all never would have heard of if not for her," journalist Elie Mystal wrote on X. "And *that's* why she's gone. They can treat black folks as interchangeable, but everybody Black knows that Joy was indispensable."

"These people are salespersons," he added. "Salespersons doctrinaire, and often it's doctrinaire bullshit. Saying he's had "lots of problems" with Wagner over the years, claiming she was "not interested in doing the harder parts of the job" of hosting, Olbermann still came to her defense regarding her credibility as a serious political analyst and commentator. "But Alex Wagner was not a salesperson for some politician or political point of view," he noted. Olbermann then pointed out that Reid -- along with Harris-Perry and Cross -- repeatedly stoked controversy and enraged the conservative media machine, adding that MSNBC bowed to the outrage from the right over their commentary rather than stick by the hosts. "Hmm, Melissa Harris, Perry, Tiffany Cross, Joy Reid, Alex Wagner. Four women -- what did they have in common?" Olbermann rhetorically asked. "Well, let's see, they all had their own shows -- solo hosts on MSNBC, and they were all women of color, and they've all been fired." While acknowledging that the hosts replacing Reid are also people of color and that Kutler is apparently looking to bring on other Black hosts, Olbermann suggested that those picks are all "safe" and won't rock the boat. "Don't we want this? Won't this make it easier to sell this company when we want to?" Olbermann snarked. "Won't it make it easier the next time Trump threatens NBC and MSNBC for us to say, but we fired Joy Reid."

The “non-partisan” group led by Warnock spent millions of dollars illegally attempting to influence the outcome of the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election between Stacey Abrams and Brian Kemp. Despite the dishonest and illegal spending by Warnock’s “non-partisan” group on behalf of Ms. Abrams, she lost that race. Raphael Warnock, who was Chairman of the “New Georgia Project” at the time, is now professing total ignorance of the actions his organization was engaged in. News broke a few weeks ago that the Georgia Ethics Commission unanimously voted to fine the New Georgia Project and its affiliated spinoff, The New Georgia Project Action Fund, $300,000 for violating state campaign laws and for failing to register as a political committee. As reported in a piece at The Hill titled “Nonprofit founded by Stacey Abrams secretly campaigned for her in 2018” these groups admitted that they violated the law by campaigning for Abrams. Further, according to the mission statement at the New Georgia Project’s website, ”New Georgia Project is a nonpartisan effort to register, civically engage, and build power with the New Georgia Majority–the large and growing population of Black, brown, young, and other historically marginalized voters in the Peach State.”Stacey Abrams was not only the creator of this entity, she was also the beneficiary of its illegal diversion of tax-free charitable giving to her political campaign back in 2018. Ms. Abrams has a history of illegally diverting funds to benefit her political ambitions. $2 billion would go a long way toward further interfering with the integrity of Georgia elections. Donors who thought they were giving to a non-partisan organization to help “marginalized” voters were actually giving to an organization actively, and illegally, assisting the Stacey Abrams campaign. The New Georgia Project, with Raphael Warnock serving as its as Chairman, was also actively violating federal tax laws.
