In a bold move that has shaken up the contemporary art scene, Beulah Thomas Hyde has allowed the audacity of her genius to shine through in her latest work, "Untitled." This enigmatic piece—masterfully shrouded in ambiguity—daringly raises questions not just about the nature of art, but also about our very existence.

Our local grain elevator had a wide belt with hand holds and narrow steps on it that you'd ride from floor to floor. It ran continuously and you'd grab and jump on, hold on as you passed through floors on your way to where you were going and then you'd step off at your destination floor.

Attendees and speakers criticized Trump’s policies on immigration, healthcare, and democracy, with chants like “Abolish ICE!” and “Release the files!”—referring to the unredacted Epstein files. Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove stated she boycotted the official address because Trump was making a “mockery” of a “sacred constitutional duty.” Other events, like “State of the Swamp” at the National Press Club, featured figures such as Robert De Niro and Mark Ruffalo. It's also of note that Jennings literally went on Jeopardy and had no life and just stayed. That became his life.
Most of these game shows (go back and watch old game shows on ewetub) would have real people who had real lives just going to cali for a vacation and being on a game show. People with ratty clothes or glasses taped together, all of it. I would read the Readers Digest World Almanac every year. It's what hooked me on trivia.
Posted by: Opinion fact I don't know if it was put out by RD or not, but there was an annual World Almanac that I would always try to buy. I especially liked the part about the countries of the world and their flags. This was in the 70s, when new independent countries would come online virtually every year. So there was pretty much always a new country to read about. Posted by: Bulg at February 25, 2026 10:46 AM (77rzZ) Posted by: Deep State at February 25, 2026 10:46 AM (0sNs1) 324

Heh. At work, we women of a certain age will be chatting, say, making an entertainment recommendation, and one of us will be like, "I forget the name, but it's got that guy - you know - the one who played an assassin, but he's killing bad guys so he's good, and that girl who was in the tv show with the vampires - no, not that one - and she was also in that other thing. . ." Donald Trump’s SOTU Speech Least Popular This Century: Poll
The trend is also moving in the wrong direction for Trump. His "very positive" score has fallen steadily from his previous addresses—down from 44 percent in 2025, and far below peaks in his first term, including 59 percent in 2019 and 57 percent in 2017. Trump's latest snap results lag those of former presidents. In 2022, President Joe Biden's speech drew a "very positive" result of 41 percent, while Obama's 2010 and Trump’s 2018 addresses both reached 48 percent.
