Hot Air, quoting from WABC 77:
New York City mayoral contender Zohran Mamdani has depicted himself throughout his career as a staunch advocate of women's rights. But a 77 WABC review of Mamdani's writings has revealed that when he could have personally intervened as a private citizen and a man to stop a series of brutal rapes and sexual assaults, he declined to do so because of "woke," political correctness concerns.
Advertisement Mamdani, who is now 33, was a student in Cairo in 2013, when protests broke out against Egypt's then-Islamist Muslim Brotherhood regime. Large numbers of women were involved in the protest, and according to Human Rights Watch, up to 91 women were raped or sexually assaulted in just four days. The wave of attacks was documented at the time by major news media, including PBS Newshour and Euronews. In a piece for his college newspaper about his time studying in Cairo, Mamdani wrote that at those protests, women "had to contend with the very real threat of sexual harassment and assault, especially at night." He namechecked two groups of civilian volunteers engaged in blocking, stopping, and reporting rapes, and said he "thought of volunteering." However, Mamdani declined to intervene to stop rapes and sexual assaults not because of concerns about his own personal safety, or legalities, but rather because he concluded that "that the last thing Egyptians needed was a well-meaning foreigner's assistance."

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on Tuesday in Chiles v. Salazar, a case challenging Colorado's ban on certain forms of counseling for youth experiencing gender dysphoria. The stakes couldn't be higher for vulnerable young people and their families. We make unlikely co-authors. Tyler Deaton leads American Unity Fund, which advocates for LGBT rights within conservative circles. Ryan T. Anderson leads the Ethics and Public Policy Center, applying Judeo-Christian moral tradition to law and culture. We've frequently disagreed -- sometimes profoundly -- on questions of marriage, sexuality, and religious liberty. Yet we've joined forces to file an amicus brief in this case because we share a fundamental conviction: Children struggling with gender dysphoria deserve compassion, individualized attention, and comprehensive mental healthcare, not a system that pushes only one predetermined outcome. Colorado's 2019 law -- versions of which have been passed by over 20 other states -- prohibits mental health professionals from providing any counseling that doesn't "affirm" a minor's stated "gender identity." In practice, this means therapists can only validate a child's desire to pursue sex change interventions, whether social, medical, or surgical; they cannot explore underlying issues, address co-occurring mental health conditions, or help children find ways to understand themselves that don't include medically or surgically modifying their developing bodies. ... This law isn't protecting children from harmful therapies. It's guiding them onto a medical conveyor belt that itself exposes them to serious risks of fundamentally experimental interventions that carry serious risks: impaired cognitive function, infertility, reduced bone density, and other lifelong health consequences. ... But the Colorado law has backfired in tangible ways that are hurting the very population it's claiming to protect; many of the therapists being silenced are themselves part of the LGBT community whose professional goal is to help the next generation of LGBT youth grow into healthy and successful adults. Instead, their businesses are being put under a microscope and damaged, ultimately resulting in fewer children having access to help and guidance when they most need it.

Republicans are seizing on recently unearthed violent rhetoric from Virginia's Democratic candidate for attorney general in a push to re-shape the state's governor's race -- and tarnish the Democratic Party nationally -- less than a month before Election Day...The media is deliberately downplaying what this pro-child-murder Satanic Extremist said. Many choose not to report his words at all, and instead call them, like AP did, a "depiction of violence," which makes no sense and is completely inaccurate. He wished for two young children to be murdered and die in their mother's arms so that the communist cause could be advanced. When this death wish for children was objected to, he doubled down on political violence and stated that only when his enemies feel "pain" will they change their policies to support his own.

This, of course, is a third-world terrorist's mindset.
Oh, and this got a little buried: This cocksucker got arrested for reckless driving and was given the Democrat Special: he would only have to do a few hours of community service. Guess where he chose to do those community service hours? That's right: Working on his own political campaign. He claimed his campaign was community service and then logged hours there doing work he was already planning to do.
The legacy press is circling the wagons for Democratic Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones after the release of text messages that could derail his campaign. Major outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and Bloomberg have ignored the scandal involving Jones's disturbing private messages and use of a reckless driving conviction for political gain. Neither story appears on their websites, and none have published follow-up coverage or reactions from political figures -- including President Donald Trump -- to the revelations. Even CNN downplayed the scandal with a soft headline -- "Virginia's Democratic nominee for attorney general facing pressure over resurfaced text messages" -- that omitted any reference to the messages' contents.
Axios only offered a brief mention Monday, headlining its piece "GOP unveils 7-figure ad campaign on 'two bullets' text by Jay Jones," but the headline likewise failed to explain what the messages actually said.
Reports broke Wednesday -- a classic October surprise -- showing that Jones turned a reckless driving case into political capital by logging community service hours with his own campaign committee, the Richmond Times-Dispatch first reported. In January 2022, a state trooper clocked Jones driving 116 mph in a 70 mph zone shortly after he left his seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. Court records show his attorney delayed the case four times before securing a "deferred disposition," letting Jones dodge up to a year in jail by performing community service. He ultimately paid a $1,500 fine and logged 1,000 hours of service in 2023 -- roughly half credited to his political action committee, Meet Our Moment, which is registered with the Virginia Board of Elections but not a nonprofit, and the rest with the NAACP Virginia State Conference. Republican Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares blasted Jones in a Wednesday post on X, writing, "Instead of taking accountability for his actions, it appears that my opponent submitted a letter to the Court stating that he performed 500 hours of 'community service' for his own PAC, which isn't a charitable organization under state code, to dodge potential jail time."

These bitter femcels just want everyone to be as miserable and mentally-ill as they are. (Although I gotta say it does amuse me to see these lunatics turn on their False Goddess.)
Taylor Swift's new album "The Life of a Showgirl" is barely three days old, and already woke killjoys are tearing it apart, finding offensive lyrics where there are none. Overly online social media critics of Swift apparently instantaneously decided the new album is rife with racism and homophobia, as well as secret messages of support for the patriarchy, eugenics, and Donald Trump. Forensic "investigations" have uncovered "dog-whistles," but only woke detectives themselves are capable of hearing them. Either Swift is a covert alt-right influencer, or her young critics have been taught to see oppression everywhere, including where it quite clearly is not. Every track on the album, which came out on Friday, has already been dissected for "offensive" content. Swift's track "Opalite" has been dubbed everything from "high-key a white supremacist anthem" to "lowkey [giving] homophobia" and a cryptic declaration that Swift is a "lily white queen." "CANCELLED!" has been dragged for supposedly being pro-MAGA, despite Swift's consistently Democratic political record. "'I like my friends canceled,' is the most tone deaf lyric a white billionaire with MAGA friends could release in this climate," a tweet with almost 100,000 likes reads. The singer has been dragged for maintaining a friendship with Brittany Mahomes, wife of NFL star Patrick Mahomes, who controversially liked an Instagram post about the 2024 GOP platform. Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris but didn't disavow her friend, who presumably is conservative. God forbid the singer demonstrate that you can be friends across party lines. What a terrible lesson! Meanwhile, "Ophelia," a song that gives the tragic Shakespeare character from "Hamlet" a revised happy ending, was dragged by critics for "reinforcing the patriarchy." One self-proclaimed English major on X said, "I refuse to listen to a song that implies Ophelia might've reconsidered killing herself if she had just dated a quarterback." She might have the degree, but her takeaway is just plain juvenile. In her song "Wishlist," Swift says she wants to have a couple kids and get "the whole block lookin' like you." Some went as far as to suggest this is an allusion to eugenics, a truly astonishing leap. One TikTokker claimed to see a subtext, which she read as, "I want to have your white babies, and I actually want our entire neighborhood to be racially homogenous." She continued, "Now Taylor's calling y'all childless cat ladies because she's about to pop out some kids." A 35-year-old woman who has sung about searching for the love of her life for years finally expressing her enthusiasm about creating a wholesome family life with her new fiancé is, apparently, a call for a white ethno-state. Because of course it is. Another fan-turned-critic pointed out, "She is free to put out a song about wanting a husband and children and a basketball hoop and a house and a cul-de-sac, [but] she has to accept the context that, if she puts that out right now, it's going to feel like propaganda." Since when is having a family a provocative political statement?Yes. Have you been on Mars for the last 50 years? The left is increasingly anti-natalist, anti-human, and pro-human-extinction.

Trump's been racking up wins at the Supreme Court recently.
President Donald Trump has an almost flawless record on the Supreme Court's emergency docket this year, a streak that has delivered crucial moments of relief to the government as it fights hundreds of lawsuits challenging the president's agenda. The Supreme Court has ruled in Trump's favor on government cuts, nationwide injunctions, immigration policies and more, leading the White House to tout what it recently counted as 21 victories before the high court. Those victories are, however, temporary. The upcoming term, which begins Monday, will allow the justices to begin weighing the full merits of some of these court disputes and ultimately cement or undo key parts of the Trump agenda. Jonathan Adler, a William & Mary Law School professor, attributed the interim wins to the Supreme Court's desire to narrow the judicial branch's role in policymaking. Speaking during a Federalist Society panel this week, Adler said the high court's thinking might be that "lower courts are doing too much. We're going to scale that back because it's not our place, and it's for the executive branch and the legislative branch to figure that out." The Trump administration has only challenged about one-fifth of the adverse rulings it has received from the lower courts. Adler said Solicitor General John Sauer, who represents the government, is strategically selecting which cases to bring to the high court. "If you go through them, setting Humphrey's Executor stuff slightly to the side, what they all have in common is that there's a kind of clear argument that ... district courts were a little too aggressive here," Adler said. The Humprey's Executor cases are about whether bureaucrats have some property interest in employment by the government so that the president cannot fire them. Which seems plainly unconstitutional, as the Constitution says "The Executive Power shall be invested in a President." All of the executive power. Is invested in a president. And thus the president has plenary power over the Executive. Supposed "Good Government" liberals attempted to limit the president's control over the executive branch on the absurd theory that left-wing partisan bureaucrats are "non-partisan," and hence we should give bureaucrats unconstitutional power and unconstitutionally strip power from the president. Of course, these left-wing bureaucrats are not only hyper-partisan actors but are unelected and unaccountable -- unlike the president -- and, thanks to "good government reforms," can't even be made accountable through firing or discipline. So that's the situation. And so a Democrat-Antifa-Media aligned terrorist tried to blow up the traditional "Red Mass" before the start of the Supreme Court term, where justices (presumably right-leaning) would be in attendance.
Scott ThumanCNN stresses that no Justices were actually present, hoping to downplay the left's latest terror attack:
@ScottThuman ATTACK AVOIDED AT CATHEDRAL? DC police say they found 200 devices and a smell of acetone emitting from some of the vials, in a tent a New Jersey man allegedly set up on the steps of St. Matthew's Cathedral just hours before the annual Red Mass. Louis Geri, 41, has been arrested. He allegedly said the devices were going to be used as "grenades and explosives". The 'Red Mass' is before the start of the Supreme Court's term and brings together justices, judges, attorneys & government officials.
(CNN) -- Police arrested and charged a man with possession of explosives Sunday outside a Washington, DC, church where an annual Mass to mark the start of the Supreme Court term was set to take place hours later. The so-called Red Mass is held each year to "invoke God's blessings on those responsible for the administration of justice," according to St. Matthew's Cathedral. A spokesperson for the Supreme Court told CNN that no justices were in attendance on Sunday, though members of the high court have previously gone to the mass. The Supreme Court's new term begins on Monday.
Laszlo VargaWritings found on the Democrat-Antifa Terrorist showed he was a card-carrying member of the atheist terrorist left.
@LaszloRealtor BREAKING: Shocking arrest outside DC's St. Matthew's Cathedral this morning--NJ man Louis Geri, 41, nabbed with a Molotov cocktail, fireworks, and vials of flammable liquid in a tent on the church steps, just before the 73rd Red Mass kicked off for SCOTUS justices and top officials. Joint FBI-ATF task force on scene; no ongoing threat, but was he plotting disruption? Stay safe, DC.
A man was arrested early Sunday morning outside St. Matthew's Cathedral in NW Washington, D.C. after officers say they found a cache of over 200 homemade explosive devices in a tent on the church's front steps, along with writings opposed to the Catholic Church, the Jewish faith, the Supreme Court, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Court documents released today indicated that Metropolitan Police Department officers encountered the man, later identified by police as Louis Geri of New Jersey, while clearing the block ahead of the annual Red Mass service, which draws members of the legal community and was expected to be attended by some justices of the Supreme Court, officials said. Early on Sunday morning, officers told him Geri he would have to move a tent and his belongings, but he refused and warned, "You might want to stay back and call the federales. I have explosives/bombs," according to police accounts.
"...several of your people are gonna to die from one of these" Police said a sergeant from the bomb squad spoke with Geri and told him he needed to leave because of the Red Mass. Geri acknowledged the event and, officers say, began making threats and describing the devices. "Do you want me to throw one out, I'll test one out in the street? I have a hundred plus of them. If you just step back, I'll throw one in the street, no one will get hurt, there will be a hole in the street...if you just step back, I'll take out that tree," he told officers, according to the police statement. When told he would be removed, Geri said, "...several of your people are gonna to die from one of these," police said. Officers reported that Geri was holding a butane lighter and a small white-capped object, and that he had written documents in his tent titled "Written Negotiations for the Avoidance of Destruction of Property via Detonation of Explosives." He later confirmed that he had written the documents and that he had an "explosive background," police said. At one point, investigators said, Geri positioned his thumb over the lighter and threatened to ignite a device; officers retreated and sought to regroup.
He also had a house full of bombs.
The individual arrested for a bomb threat at a Washington, DC, church was carrying an arsenal of explosive devices on his person, according to police. The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Louis Geri, who was apprehended outside of St. Matthew's Cathedral before an event, had over 200 handmade bombs in his home, including bottle rockets and Molotov cocktails.I know bottle rockets aren't a big deal but you can take the gunpowder from each and combine them to make a lethal bomb.
When he was arrested, police found a Molotov cocktail in his possession. While the left-wing Terrorist Media buries this story, they eagerly promoted the, get this, left-wing H O A X story about a left-wing judge having her house burned down. In fact, there was no arson. It was a spontaneous accidental fire.
A man had more than 200 handmade destructive devices -- including bottle rockets and molotov cocktails -- in a tent on the steps of a D.C. cathedral where Supreme Court justices were expected to attend Mass on Sunday, court records show. During his arrest, Louis Geri threatened to ignite explosives and handed authorities pages of his notebook that, according to court records, expressed animosity toward the Catholic Church, Supreme Court justices, members of the Jewish faith and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. D.C. police first approached Geri inside a green tent posted on the top of the stairs leading to St. Matthew's Cathedral as they cleared the block for Red Mass -- an annual religious service marking the start of a new Supreme Court term and honoring the judiciary. But records filed in D.C. Superior Court on Monday show that when officers asked Geri to leave, he told them, "You might want to stay back and call the federales, I have explosives." An attorney for Geri did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.

The FDA just didn't have the resources to do tests to insure the safety of children. The government was too busy spending millions to determine if drag queens can reduce their stress levels through flamenco dancing lessons. A much much important question, I'm sure you agree.
This study seems to about adults getting multiple respiratory virus vaccines at once, but the study will presumably yield clues about whether injecting kids with 40-70 vaccines is dangerous. Trump and his FDA will finally spend money and time to ask the minor question: Are we literally harming our children just to pad Big Pharma's profits?Citing a "new evidenced based philosophy," the FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) is preparing to take a hard line against the common practice of administering certain respiratory virus vaccines at the same time. The leadership at CBER--which oversees vaccines and other biologic products like cell and gene therapies at the FDA--will now require randomized, controlled trials in people eligible for multiple vaccines before drugmakers can promote coadministration of the shots or "some sequence of the vaccines," CBER Director Vinay Prasad, M.D., wrote in a memo posted on the FDA's website.Who knows -- NASA might soon be spending money on actual space research instead of studying whether trannys experience any particular ill-effects in zero G.
...
Apparently reading the writing on the wall, Pfizer last month sent a letter to healthcare providers warning that certain lots of its 2025-26 COVID vaccine "contain unapproved prescribing information inside the cartons." That language related to "concomitant administration of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, bivalent with a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine or with an RSV vaccine and an influenza vaccine in individuals 65 years of age and older," according to the letter, which the FDA has posted on its Comirnaty information page. Pfizer did not provide a statement in response to Prasad's communications, though a company spokesperson directed Fierce toward its physician letter on the FDA's website.
In the memo, CBER's Prasad took issue with the fact that past company claims about concomitant vaccine administration were "made on the basis of small randomized studies showing non-inferior antibody titers." But the CBER is "unsure" whether those titers correspond to clinical protection and holds concerns that "such small trials are inherently incapable of adequately documenting safety signals," according to Prasad. "The studies are simply too small to identify potential increases in adverse events, which Americans may wish to know," he wrote. The Biden administration supported vaccine coadministration as a means to increase immunization rates, though Prasad has frequently criticized the practice, The Washington Post reported this week.

None of the options now look appealing for Macron, from his perspective at least. And for France, the road ahead promises more of the political uncertainty that is eroding investor confidence in the European Union’s second-largest economy and is frustrating efforts to rein in France’s damaging state deficit and debts. Domestic turmoil also risks diverting Macron’s focus from pressing international issues — wars in Gaza and Ukraine, security threats from Russia, and the muscular use of American power by U.S. President Donald Trump, to name just a few.
The globalist fixation on Ukraine and Gaza, dutifully parroted by a compliant and curiously incurious media, allows people like Macron to ignore the existential issues plaguing France. Muslim immigration. Muslim crime. Muslim political power pushing France toward an Islamic theocracy. Gaza is a wonderful tool to placate the restive Muslims by showing them France's Jew-hating bona fides...and feeding the crocodile for a bit longer. And Ukraine diverts attention, in spite of the ridiculousness of any sort of Russian threat to France. Kiev to Paris is more than 1,200 miles. Are Russian armored columns going to rampage across central Europe and capture Paris? France's political structure is flawed, and it has been in chaos for a very long time. de Gaulle was able to hold it together, and he was still reviled by huge numbers of Frenchmen. The president has a huge amount of power, which is why Macron can hold on in spite of an approval rating under 20%. He's not going anywhere until the next national election in 2027, but don't think anything earthshaking will come then...they have already disqualified Marine Le Pen! France has a massive welfare state that is crumbling in large part because of immigration. It has a sclerotic and oppressive regulatory state that stifles innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. It has a voting population that is hell-bent on protecting its pensions and retirement, at the expense of everything around them. And Macron's response to all of this has been to pander to the globalists and the Islamists in his midst, all in service of his fanatical desire to retain power. Sound familiar? He is a more competent and less senile Joe Biden! Or Hillary Clinton! France will not recover unless the people of France reject the status quo and embrace change the way America, Italy, Japan, and a few other countries have. And that will probably not happen! There is no ‘Palestinian’ cause, only a Jihadist cause that hides behind it, the way that it hides behind so many other facades, civil rights, social justice, political change, that are just masks. Why do the Jihadist groups want Jerusalem so badly? For the same reason Islam wanted Constantinople, captured Athens and turned the Parthenon into a mosque and then wrecked it during the Great Turkish War, and why ISIS has repeatedly threatened to conquer Rome. . . ."Evil fears our bullets less than it fears our faith. It does everything possible to convince us that evil is good and we are evil. Its greatest victory is when we come to believe it. As too many do. . . .They don’t kill us, torture us and terrorize us because they believe they’re right, but because they fear they are wrong.”
A Palestinian state is merely a means to an end. Once Islam is dominant in every nation on the planet, then that nation will cease to exist. It's borders and national identity will be gone, subsumed under one global caliphate for all time. That has been its goal for the past 1500 years. All unbelievers will either be killed or converted. That is once all the Jews are annihilated. First, God bless the memory of all who were so brutally tortured and slaughtered beginning on that horrible day and send comfort to all the surivors and families of those who suffered. Next, when you look at that last paragraph in the pull quote, the parallels between what we as Americans are experiencing at the hands of the Democrat/Progressive/Socialist Left are truly striking. After yesterday's revelations about this Jay Jones cancer running for Virginia AG, it is amazing if not sadly unsurprising that not one Democrat has come out and called for FEAR-CHUCKER Jones to withdraw from the race. Jeez, even that beady-eyed inbred Scarborough and his concubine bimbo wife Mitzi Baryshnikov said he was toxic and had to go. Besides his open calls for assassinating his opponents, there was this revelation:
Republican Virginia Delegate Carrie Coyner alleged in an interview that Democratic Virginia Attorney General nominee Jay Jones made a violent remark about police officers during a 2020 phone call.
During an interview Monday, Coyner alleged Jones said in a 2020 conversation that if a few police officers died, it might prevent killings of other people, according to a Virginia Scope report. Jones denied making such a comment, the outlet reported.
Just as there can be no two-state solution vis a vis Israel and that fictional "Palestine" America as a house divided against itself cannot stand. It's either us American-Americans or the anti-American DemoKKKrat Left. You're either with us or with the terrorists. Am Yisrael Chai and God Bless America!!!!! Have a good day! And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Nvidia's plan to invest $100 billion in OpenAI in return for OpenAI spending $100 billion on Nvidia hardware. Or some random amount - the scale is so absurd they're talking about graphics cards in gigawatts. OpenAI is buying 10 gigawatts of graphics cards.
Now AMD is sort of doing the same. OpenAI is planning to buy 6GW of AMD Instinct cards and in return AMD has issued OpenAI a warrant for up to 160 million shares of its common stock, worth about $32 billion at current prices though since some of the shares wouldn't vest until the share price reaches $600 (from $200 today) it's potentially $100 billion again if the bubble don't burst.

It's time to start impeaching these insurrectionary "judges."
President Trump on Sunday sent 300 California National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, defying a federal court order to block the move. The deployment comes after months of Antifa-led chaos outside an ICE facility and what the White House called a total failure of local leaders to restore order. Key Details: The deployment came just one day after U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut blocked Trump's plan to federalize the Oregon National Guard, ruling it unconstitutional and in violation of federal law restricting military involvement in domestic law enforcement. Despite the ruling, Trump ordered Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to mobilize California troops, saying he has "lawful authority" to defend federal officers and facilities under attack. California Gov. Gavin Newsom condemned the move as "un-American" and vowed to sue. The White House defended the decision, pointing to ongoing "violent riots and attacks on law enforcement," while ICE officials reported nightly assaults by Antifa mobs outside the Portland detention center. Diving Deeper: President Donald Trump took decisive action Sunday, deploying 300 California National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, despite a federal court order attempting to block him. The move followed months of violent unrest and nightly assaults on federal immigration officers that state and local authorities repeatedly failed to stop. Trump's order came after U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut ruled Saturday that deploying troops would "violate the Constitution and federal law barring military involvement in domestic law enforcement." Her ruling claimed that protests near the ICE processing facility in south Portland were "small and uneventful."Mostly peaceful small and uneventful attacks on federal officials.
That assessment directly contradicted reports from the Department of Homeland Security detailing repeated attacks, vandalism, and harassment of ICE personnel by Antifa-linked agitators. In defiance of the ruling, Trump directed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to deploy "all necessary forces" to protect federal assets. White House officials said the president acted under his constitutional authority to ensure national security and uphold federal law. "President Trump exercised his lawful authority to protect federal assets and personnel in Portland following violent riots and attacks on law enforcement," a White House spokeswoman told The New York Post. "President Trump will not turn a blind eye to the lawlessness plaguing American cities."Good precedent. Just ignore them. How many divisions do the Hawaiian Judges have?

Many are calling her "Japan's Trump."
The leftwing propaganda media calls her "Japan's first female PM," and sometimes "hard right." But they don't want to admit another Trumpian official has been elected and that the progressive globalist/transgender/Islamic conquest movement collapsing. And on that: She's not PM yet. She has been elected leader of the ruling conservative power. Ergo, she should quickly be confirmed as PM, but she hasn't been confirmed yet.President Trump welcomed the news Monday that Japan is poised to have its first female prime minister, calling it "incredible for the people of Japan." "Japan has just elected its first female Prime Minister, a highly respected person of great wisdom and strength. This is tremendous news for the incredible people of Japan. Congratulations to all!" Trump posted on Truth Social. Sanae Takaichi, a conservative lawmaker, won a key leadership vote Saturday, which put her on track to become Japan's prime minister. She will be the first woman to hold the role in the country's history. The Japanese stock market gained more than forty f***ing million Deutschmarks.
Japan stocks hit record after ruling party names pro-business leaderThe Japanese economy continues its long period of weakness. She's hoping to stimulate it back to life.
Japanese stocks have hit a record high after the country's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) named Sanae Takaichi as its new leader, positioning the pro-business politician to be Japan's next prime minister. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index closed 4.75% higher on Monday, ending the day above 47,000 for the first time. Takaichi, who has held senior government roles including minister for economic security and internal affairs, is known for her support of higher government spending and lower borrowing costs.
She is also a long-time admirer of former UK prime minister Margaret Thatcher and her free market approach to economics. Investors welcomed the announcement of her victory in the LDP leadership race, with shares rising in real estate, technology and heavy industry companies. While the Japanese stocks rose, the yen hit a record low against the euro and dropped by 1.7% against the US dollar. Monday's market response was largely a "knee-jerk reaction" to the potential appointment of Takaichi as prime minister, Japan economist Jesper Koll told the BBC.

The left is already shooting. But there is no war until the other side starts shooting back.
Guy Benson just lets his liberal friends know that their support of Manson Family Helter Skelter terrorism is noted:Guy BensonVDH:
@guypbenson I'd like to ask my non-conservative followers to pay attention here for a moment. I don't need a response or a rebuttal or a 'whatabout.' Just read on and consider what I'm saying. Please. We are only a few weeks removed from a leading conservative figure being shot in the throat and killed by a leftist, for and during his speech, at a public speaking event. Stunning, jarring numbers of leftist Americans justified or celebrated this assassination, aligning with multiple public polls showing that a sizable minority of leftists in this country think political violence can be acceptable. Today -- just today -- many conservatives are thinking about: (1) a major leftist statewide candidate being exposed for sending texts to a political opponent (R) explicitly hoping for the death of another conservative political opponent...along with the deaths of that opponents' young children. He WROTE DOWN that the pain of those deaths might promote his own agenda, which would be worth it, in his estimation. This candidate is now condemning his current conservative opponent for noticing this information. And also (2) a development in the case of a leftist would-be assassin of a conservative Supreme Court Justice, who traveled across the country, heavily armed, with the stated intent of murdering up to three right-leaning Justices because he was angry about their abortion jurisprudence. The leftist judge in the case rejected prosecutors' request for a multi-decade sentence, giving the defense team the very lenient sentence they'd sought. The leftist judge, in her reasoning, cited the criminal's trans identity as a factor & expressed happiness that the assassination plot and its aftermath helped with the criminal's family therapy around the trans issue. And also (3) yet another violent leftist attack -- this time an apparent ambush -- against federal immigration officers. This did not take place in Dallas, where a leftist sniper very recently went on a deadly spree while trying to murder as many ICE officers as possible. This one happened in Illinois, where the leftist governor just called these officers "jack booted thugs." Violent attacks on these federal agents (thugs, fascists, gestapo, per various leading leftist politicians) are up approximately *one thousand percent,* per DHS. And also (4) a prominent university being pressured into reversing its attempt to shut down a conservative event commemorating the second anniversary of the Oct 7 terrorist massacre of Jews -- because, the school said, they were worried about the security situation around the event. They were referring, of course, to the violent Islamist-Leftist coalition pro-Hamas mob, which has engaged in harassment, threats, violence and murder ever since that mass slaughter. AND YET, we see many of our leftist friends tweeting and posting about how *their opponents* are the "dangerous" and "authoritarian" "fascists." I ask you to try to contemplate, even for a quiet moment or two, how this might strike many of us. That's all for now. Thank you.
In blue cities across America--Portland, Oregon, especially--often violent protesters now seek to surround ICE facilities to stop federal officers from fulfilling their assigned and legal duties of arresting illegal aliens. ... Left-wing protesters are swarming ICE headquarters in Portland to violently oppose all deportations, even those of known criminals and those who have already exhausted efforts to remain here illegally. Why? The Democratic Party apparat knows that the public wants both secure borders and deportations of illegal aliens. Indeed, in part, it lost an election by its open-borders advocacy. But Democrat officials feel that if street thugs like Antifa can surround and besiege ICE facilities in Portland, Oregon, then deportations will stop. Then, a de facto amnesty will follow for millions who entered the U.S. illegally--and will soon become Democratic constituents. As a result, they do not fully enforce the law when thugs attack federal law enforcement. Antifa and its spin-off groups favor the night, when they try to block all entries and exits of ICE vehicles and personnel, and can commit their violence with greater anonymity. The masked rioters assault anyone in their way. They count on exemption from punishment for committing violence against federal officers through the goodwill or indifference of kindred local and state officials who hate the Trump administration more than they respect the law. An Orwellian scenario follows in which federal officers are attacked by Antifa, which in turn counts on the non-intervention of local police. Summed up: the city of Portland's armed officers are in a de facto proxy war with their federal counterparts--in our version of something out of 1860, on the eve of a real civil war.
Leftists are calling for secession/insurrection.
From a column in the U.K. Guardian, Blue states should come together to declare an emergency. Here's how. Ok. I'm all ears, States opposed to Trump can create a compact -- a new prototype for American government -- even if it's perceived as political theater. I'm no student of history, but I'm pretty certain that was tried right after the Ft. Sumter incident. The author refers to 1776, but his idea is straight out of 1861. What kind of "compact"?Powerline said the left is trying to manufacture a "Kent State moment," where they provoke cops into shooting their Antifa street stormtroopers and the public, in their imaginings, sides with the Antifa terrorists and their Democrat Party funders/protectors. They think a "Fort Sumter Moment" is more likely.
Like the founders, we should create a limited, invitation-only body -- an embryonic constitutional convention -- that the anti-Trump blue states exclusively set up for themselves, limit to themselves, and control. Limited? Invitation only? Exclusively? May I remind readers that all of the Confederate states were blue states at the. time of their confederation.

CHICAGO POLICE ORDERED TO FLEE THE AREA AND RENDER NO ASSISTANCE TO FELLOW LEOs UNDER ATTACK The Democrat-Antifa-Media Cult is making it clear that yes, Antifa are their street paramilitaries and operate under color of law at the direction of Democrat politicians.
Shocking video captured the moment an unhinged driver rammed into an Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle in Chicago amid a spate of attacks on federal agents. The chaotic scene unfolded when the black SUV was caught on camera suddenly plowing into the back of the ICE truck in the middle of heavy traffic on Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security said. The driver then chased the ICE vehicle before repeatedly slamming into its bumper in front of shocked bystanders. Scores of federal agents could be seen drawing their guns in a bid to prevent the driver from fleeing. It wasn't immediately clear if the driver was apprehended. The assault came soon after Border Patrol agents shot a gun-toting woman elsewhere in the city when an angry mob of anti-ICE protesters ambushed federal agents and boxed them in with 10 vehicles. The woman, Marimar Martinez, as well as another driver, Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, were both arrested and branded "domestic terrorists." "The scene became increasingly violent as more domestic terrorists gathered and began throwing smoke, gas, rocks, and bottles at DHS law enforcement," DHS said. Several Border Patrol agents were injured as the violent scenes unfolded, according to authorities.
Chicago Police were ordered to allow the terrorists to attack ICE and Border Patrol personnel.
Two longtime, ranking Chicago police sources sharply rejected the department's assertion that officers responded to calls for help from ICE agents who were rammed and surrounded by protesters on Saturday, telling Fox News the official statement is, in their words, "COVER THEIR A-- BULLS--T!!" Their comments come as Fox News obtained an internal dispatch revealing that Chicago police officers were ordered by their chief of patrol not to respond after Border Patrol agents called for help, saying they were boxed in and surrounded following a ramming incident outside the city, according to multiple federal and Chicago law enforcement sources. Fox News reviewed the computer-aided dispatch message sent to Chicago police officers by their chief of patrol. The message instructed officers not to respond to a Saturday morning ramming on the southwest side of the city in which an armed woman was shot and agents were boxed in and surrounded. "PLEASE CHIEF OF PATROL NO UNITS WILL RESPOND TO THIS AS RELATED FROM 04-Oc5-2025/12:34:44...CALLER IS 1 OF APPROX 30 ARMED PATROL AGENTS (ICE) WHO ARE BEING SURROUNDED BY A LARGE CROWD OF PEOPLE REQUESTING CPD," the dispatch message read. On Saturday morning, federal agents were rammed and trapped by 10 vehicles, where anti-ICE crowds had gathered for days. Nearly a dozen people were arrested.
In a statement Sunday, the Chicago Police Department disputed claims that officers failed to respond, saying they were on scene to manage safety and document the incident. ... But two senior Chicago police sources told Fox News the department's statement was false -- and that internal communications tell a very different story. One ranking source told Fox News that the Chicago Police Department's statement is "not true," pointing to "legit" dispatch audio.

And of course Democrats have long enjoyed a big advantage in the early vote, with Republicans forced to make up the deficit on the actual (Constitution-prescribed) Election Day.
I should clarify that Republicans are turning in ballots at a higher rate, not necessarily in terms of absolute numbers. There are more Democrats in NJ than Republicans so they are probably turning in more actual ballots.New Jersey Republicans are returning their mail-in ballots at a higher clip than Democrats in an early positive sign for GOP gubernatorial hopeful Jack Ciattarelli, as polls show a tightening race between him and Rep. Mikie Sherrill in the high-stakes race. Garden State Republicans have so far notched an 18.61% return rate for their mail-in ballots, outpacing the Democrats' 16.55%, according to data compiled and analyzed by DecisionDeskHQ's director of political science, Michael Pruser. GOP pollster Adam Geller, who has worked with the Ciattarelli campaign, told The Post that Republicans have historically been less inclined to vote by mail, meaning this lead in the rate of early ballot returns could be a hopeful sign. "Clearly, it's encouraging for the Republicans right now," Geller said. "You could argue that, in addition to coming around to vote by mail, it could be a measurement of the enthusiasm for the candidate." Brent Buchanan, the president and CEO of Cygnal polling firm, said that the early mail-in data is interesting given President Trump's growing popularity in the Garden State. "Republicans have gotten serious about participating in early voting," Buchanan told The Post. "Pair that with the strong shift statewide toward Trump, and you have a growing recipe for Republican wins up and down the ticket." Kamala Harris only won New Jersey by a 6% margin in the 2024 presidential election, marking the narrowest Democratic margin in the state since 1992, according to the New Jersey Globe. ... An internal poll conducted by Geller showed Ciattarelli with a threadbare lead, and an Emerson College Polling survey pegged Sherrill and Ciattarelli as being neck and neck. Other polls have shown that the race is getting tighter, something that has spooked national Democrats. Sherrill has a 3.3 percentage point advantage over her conservative counterpart, according to the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate of polling. Exactly one month ago, she had an 8.3 point lead. For context, the RCP aggregate underestimated Ciattarelli's support by some 5 points in the 2021 New Jersey gubernatorial race. Ciattarelli lost to incumbent Gov. Phil Murphy (D) by about 3 points. The early mail-in vote means that Democrats can't pull a Torricelli Option any longer. Votes have already been cast. I don't doubt that the ultra-corrupt far-left NJ Supreme Court would try to justify cancelling the votes already cast and forcing people to vote again with a new Democrat candidate in the race, but I think the Supreme Court might actually step in and tell them they can't cancel votes already cast. Democrats are worried:
Top Democrats are increasingly alarmed the party could lose the governor's race in traditionally blue New Jersey next month because of a series of stumbles by the Democratic nominee, U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill. Why it matters: Both parties are investing millions in the race between Sherrill, a former Navy pilot, and Republican Jack Ciattarelli, an ex-state lawmaker -- and it's getting national attention as a preview of the 2026 midterms. The prospect of a close election or even a loss in the Garden State has set off handwringing among Democrats. "So much for the Dem resistance if we are struggling to even win a N.J. governorship while Trump has taken a wrecking ball to the government and Constitution," said Democratic strategist Irene Lin, who isn't working on the race. "Sherrill has spent a fortune on polling and has no message beyond she flies helicopters and Ciattarelli loves Trump," Lin said. "How have we not learned ... that tired anti-Trump attacks aren't enough?" Behind the scenes: Some Democrats privately say Sherrill is a better candidate on paper than in reality. They argue she's been too scripted, hasn't focused enough on high prices, and has relied too much on staff from D.C. rather than New Jersey-based operatives. They're also concerned Ciattarelli is hustling to make inroads in Black communities that usually vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. Sherrill initially had trouble naming "one piece" of legislation she would pass in response to a question from a CBS New York reporter, which led to Ciattarelli blasting her in an ad. In an interview with influential radio host Charlamagne tha God in May, Sherrill -- who's in her fourth term in the House -- struggled to answer questions about her family's increased wealth in recent years. When asked whether she made $7 million through stock trades as alleged in conservative media, she said, "I, I haven't ... I don't believe I did," and then said she'd have to check where the allegations originated. Ciattarelli's campaign responded by launching a website: MikieMadeMillions.com. Another spot by a pro-Ciattarelli super PAC highlighted Sherrill saying clean power is "gonna cost you an arm and a leg, but if you're a good person, you'll do it." But the group's ad didn't say that Sherrill actually was criticizing her own party's messaging.Bullshit. All she was doing was criticizing the messaging -- not the policy itself. She was saying that Democrats can't sell green energy by saying it will cost you an armed and a leg, but you should sacrifice your limbs for Gaia. But she completely supports cutting off limbs for Gaia. She just wants to be more dishonest about the transaction.
A spokesperson for the Republican Governors Association, which backs the group behind the ad, declined to directly address taking Sherrill out of context and provided a statement attacking her energy record.
