The Morning Report — 2/25/26

DmesGoApe.jpg

Good morning kids. In the lead this morning, of course, is the State of the Union. No, I don't mean President Trump's SOTU speech from last night but the actual state of our union which, were it not for this president's mere presence in the Oval Office would be hurtling at light speed straight off of a cliff.

The speech itself was yet another solid performance and demonstration of this President's ability to communicate and connect with the American people, which is due in no small part to his delivering on policy success after success both at home and abroad in this his second term — And that dovetails perfectly with my initial assertion, insofar as the disastrous state of our Union. That is solely because of the demonic, diseased, deviant diabolical Democrat Party and everything it stands for. Or as in the case of last night everything and everyone it refused to stand for.

During President Trump’s State of the Union Address, Democrats refused to stand for Anna Zarutska, the mother of Iryna Zarutska – signaling the moral state of the American Left.

As a refresher, a subhuman degenerate beast named Decarlos Brown (another potential Barack Obama mythical son if he had one)

Slaughtered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska looked up at her killer with terror in her eyes after he repeatedly stabbed her with a pocket knife, as no light-rail passengers came immediately to her aid, according to disturbing, newly released surveillance footage.

The new extended clip from the Aug. 22 attack on the Lynx Blue Line train in Charlotte, North Carolina, shows the 23-year-old cowering in fear and covering her face with her hands after the shocking, unprovoked attack, allegedly carried out by homeless repeat felon Decarlos Brown Jr.

Zarutska, who had come to the US in 2022 seeking safety after Russia invaded her country, pulls up her legs, which can be seen spattered with blood in the video.

When the Democrats, especially the foreign Muslim contingent like Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, weren’t screeching their heads off, they were sitting it out.

They didn’t stand for the U.S. hockey team. They refused to stand for the idea that the duty of the United States government is “to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”

The anti-American Left and its epicenter in the Democrat Party have spent the better part of 200 years attempting to seize absolute power by tearing this country and our society apart by any and every means at their disposal. They are the moral (amoral) equivalent of so-called "generation ships" of science fiction sailing off into deep space towards some distant galaxy. As the crew die off one by one, their progeny take over the mission and sail off into the unknown. Meh, perhaps that's too romantic an analogy but they must be stopped before it's too late, unless we've already passed the point of no return and we just don't realize it, MAGA and Donald Trump being mere speed bumps on the road to hell.

Or perhaps not. Perhaps there has been a sea change in our societal/political trajectory back towards sanity and we won't see it for years or depending on how old you are in our lifetimes.

But for anyone with eyes to see and a functioning brain to process the words and optics of last night, the Democrat forces of darkness and evil did themselves no favors last night. And then there's Eddie Munster's Woof-Woof doppelgänger Al Green:

Video footage shows the moment the Democrat was walked out of the room and again held up the sign that read, “Black People Aren’t Apes!”

Attendees continued applauding in response to the president’s address as Green made his way toward the exit. When he held up the sign a second time, it was pulled down:

Zaius be his lucky day. Or, while we have that movie in mind, in the words of astronaut Taylor, my feelings for his party "God Damn You all to Hell!"

We'll never have a moment's peace or any semblance of normalcy unless and until the Left is completely removed from any position of power and influence. They must be utterly defeated for all time. We cannot rest, we cannot falter and we cannot fail in that holy cause, or it will be our undoing.

Have a great day.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and a huge thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

NPR: "Annotated Fact Check of Trump's SotU Speech," with a scary picture of Trump appearing to be ranting insanely.

The Hill: "End, Don't Mend, Primetime SotU Addresses," arguing that Congress move the address to midday so that people won't see so much of the evil Trump.

The speech has definitely touched a nerve. Damage control time.

That first article has a real doozy in it.
Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D), delivering her party’s response, framed her argument around three questions.

“Is the president working to make life more affordable for you and your family? Is the president working to keep Americans safe, both at home and abroad? Is the president working for you?.” she asked rhetorically.

LOL. Tell me you're counting on my not having watched the speech, without actually telling me.

Trump *hammered* the reductions in inflation and increases in affordability, especially on food, energy and rent.

He *hammered* on plummeting crime at home and exceptional military competence in limited engagements.

He *hammered* on the role of government being working for Americans and Americans *only*, not illegals - a point for which her Party's *entire* caucus (except Fetterman, IIRC) refused to stand.

Good grief.

Respectfully, JJ, I think this is underselling it. It was not a "solid performance." It was a tour de force. Probably his best address. Not the most fun (that would be the Al-Baghdadi speech), but probably the best.

He opened swinging with accomplishments during peak viewership, humiliated the Dems at every opportunity, leading them into obvious traps, the heartstrings parts were all brilliantly done and the wrap-up was sensational.

Seriously, if anyone missed it (and I am sure many did - it was late and it was long and I am *almost* regretting having stayed up for it), at least watch the last five or ten minutes. His wrap-up was killer and he needs to give his speechwriter (it was clearly a carefully-prepared part of the address) a raise.

It was a brief history lesson on American bad-assery - throwing off the shackles of empire, conquering a continent, building an industrial juggernaut, exhibiting world-beating military power, inventing the future, etc. - followed by an old-fashioned "G-d-and-Glory" finish.

"When G-d needs a nation to work His miracles, He knows exactly who to ask." is not something *any* Democrat - or most Republicans - would dare to say anymore.

31 “And it is kind of disappointing that the Democrats couldn't even pretend to like this country”

32 President Trump's laser-like focus on domestic issues was 100% correct thing to do in a mid-term election year.

People appreciate his international achievements, but they FEEL his domestic achievements so much before because of the tangible, immediate effects he's been able to accomplish that make peoples' lives better.

None of the Democrats can run on any of that.

Now it's up to the Republicans to capitalize on President Trump's achievements and ride to victory in November. Of course, the GOPe will attempt to throw several spanners into the works...

Oh, expect some Dems to do, too.

Perhaps the most interesting part of last night was seeing a real-time "over-the-air" update go out to human endpoints.

The Dems who showed up sat there and refused to stand for obvious applause lines. Then Trump baited them.

He *invited* them to stand in support of the idea that the government should work for American citizens, not illegal aliens. They remained seated.

A bit later, he *invited* them to remain seated if they supported grooming and forcibly transing youth. They remained seated.

Shortly after that, several of them glanced at their phones or watches. Then they started standing for some of the applause lines and special guests. The panic update went out from Party HQ, and they immediately changed behavior.

Incredible to see unfold so obviously on live TV.

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at February 25, 2026 07:36 AM (3OtAS)

38 Al Green (7 (spit) got redistricted out of his current seat. He's gone from that district (TX-9th) come the end of this Congress' term.

Howsoever, he's running in the March Primary for the TX-18 seat against 2 other Dems. Currently, Green is polling at 28% of likely Dem primary voters to the fill-in incumbent's 52%.

TX-18 is the safe Dem seat long warmed by SJL (died in office) and then Fmr Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner (also died in office at just about 2 months into his 2-year term). Turner's death left the seat vacant for the remainder of the term's 1st year, with a special election for the open seat occurring in Nov 2025 and then a runoff election in Jan 2026.

The TX-18 fill-in incumbent is Chris Menefee, a Dem machine pol and recent County Attorney for Harris County. Menefee won the special election and runoff.

Trump is killing our economy. Statistically we’re worse off today economically than we were 1 year ago. He destroyed the slowly mending economy Biden had and replaced it with a slowly spiraling economy that has quickly growing inflation and a dollar that is losing its value.

He is also blatantly illegally defying the Supreme Court ruling that his tariffs were illegal by Illegally imposing new tariffs under a new guise. He has no idea how they work or that they're a large part of why things are so bad. Completely unfit.

30% will sacrifice their first born to defend him. As much as I'm tired of Trump, it's his sycophant cult members who live in an alternative reality and at this point I'm more angry at them than Trump/Republicans.

The Left, because they are demon possessed have no empathy and while demons are not of the Imago Dei, don't have basic humanity. Therefore they must rely on mimicking the behavior of others they are told to trust. 77 I didn't watch/listen to the SoTU address.* I was in pain and tired. It had been a long day. When I got up and looked at some of the snippets about it I got the feeling it was a good address, and the nominal right probably liked it, approved of it.

But the left will never approve of anything Trump, or the nominal right does. They've been conditioned, like rats, to violently oppose anything and everything the right embraces.

Everything. And with Trump right there in their face, it makes them do really stupid stuff.

79 The Great Immigration Reversal: Trump’s Real Progress in Tackling Legal Immigration

--

What's been on my mind a lot lately is the impression I'm getting that Islam is swarming into America and creating large population pockets in not only MN, but TX, FL, OH, and places soon to be overrun, like NYC. Are all of these 10s of 1000s of useless, dangerous, blood-sucking, taxpayer-fleecing muslims here legally or illegally? Why does it seem like their numbers are increasing exponentially? I doubt it will happen, but it is imperative that this type of immigration must stop for national security reasons above all else. If I want any focus on tackling legal immigration, I want the focus to be on eradicating the influx of muslims.

JD as Killer of Fraud is a great idea if it actually is meant to be a meaningful position that delivers results. Seeing Waltz and a bunch of NGO bastards + their MN government collaborators being marched to the gulags would be a good start and give JD a feather in his cap for 2028. Bush was a fake oilman for the CIA and close confederates of the Rockefeller family. Shrub picked a lot of daddy's rolodex to populate his administration. Oil was at that time, a global enterprise as the US was figured to be played out and thus a critical component of the US economy depended on unfriendly Islamic regimes abroad. Became worse when we allowed Chavez to take power in Venezuela.

So Shrub proclaimed Islam as a religion of peace because to say otherwise meant no money and/or oil coming in. He also let out the rest of bin Ladin's extended family quietly right after 9/11, conspired with the Clintons to hide the fact that Saudi embassy officials were involved in care and feeding of the hijackers, and that the Saudi ambassador to US knew about the arrangements.

It is and it isn't. Unlike Europe, our numbers are probably manageable up to a point (unless the Democrats open the floodgates again) and we have far more immigration from Central and South America than we do from the Middle East. But it does mean that the periodic windup toys will go off but the peculiar behavior of domestic Muzzies after Gaza and then the Israeli ass whooping of Iran, Hezbollah, and Gaza did not provoke masses of terror attacks.

Instead, we got the sad trombone trannies as the most recent group of mass public killers. That in particular calls into question perhaps the Deep State's role in setting off these ticking timebombs to ensure crown jewels like FISA and other nasty surveillance programs continue to exist.

Posted by: man
========
I think the gameplan of the WEF types/Rockefellers, etc. was to shift to 'clean' fuels and dominate those new industries by making oil expensive to pay for it. Expensive oil meant existing reserves were worth exponentially more for oil companies and at the same time allowed these big fossil fuel companies to presumably slide over to dominate the new EV, etc. industries.

You see the same behavior in food production--megacorps dominate one meat production market and then laterally expand by buying the other substitute product companies so that consumers get screwed by exhorbitant prices however they turn. The idea becomes perfect price discrimination where consumers in each country where these megacorps run the food industries are charged prices that maximize the revenue stream and are forestalled by switching to cheaper substitutes as the food companies dominate those prices as well.

Isn't there a name for that kind of weaponized offense-taking, where anything that can be twisted into an affront is hollered about at top volume? (Thankfully Trump ignores their fake indignation because it's impossible to avoid saying anything twist-able.) The left uses this strategy a lot, constantly claiming evil motivations for anything they can possibly pretend to interpret wrong. Meanwhile, if a lefty says something truly vile and it is pointed out, they claim their words were taken out of context.

What is this behavior/strategy called? It's a special type of hypocrisy. Hmmm.

Tis not wise to point out useless GOP types and to some degree Thune is a symptom, not the primary reason. That is you have about 6-10 of McConnell's fake and gay posse in the GOP--Cassidy, Murcow, Collins, McConnell himself, Rand Paul, Thune, and some others on particular issues that take turns in buggering the conservatives on key votes. All it takes is four defectors (and some of those defectors just don't show up for the votes, etc.).

The resistance to the phoney modern filibuster by the GOPe is that if a talking filibuster shows that the phoney modern one is a sham, then these treacherous assholes will have their defections from the GOP on key issues noted by voters. They can't hide behind their Dem colleagues anymore. That is why you get the stall out while the GOP Senate caucus is probably hoping to lose the House to take them off the hook.

I think that is why Trump is going to the campaign trail for the midterms, where he can pick out targets on the GOPe Senate and move the needle more to Trumpian candidates than the fake and gay Democrats and establishmentarians that often dominate GOP elections.

More specialized targeting without telling the entire US electorate that the GOP weasels in the Senate are shit. That tends to make independents simply sit on their ass during midterms and the GOP base in specific states might not be able to overcome the fanatical kamikaze Democrats frantic to prevent a Trump Congress for the last two years of Trump's No F*cks Given presidency.

You get kabuki bullshit. Paul, for example, attacks the SAVE act on state's rights bullshit (Congress in Article I and the later 15th Amendment are specifically given power to address federal elections as they should be). Murcow is essentially a Democrat that stays GOP for now because of her seniority and committee positions. Collins is in a tight race and Maine (and AK) use the idiotic and undemocratic ranked choice voting systems. McConnell and his awful staffers are butthurt about his loss of power as boss of the GOPe and don't want to help Trump do anything. And then there are the secret defectors that will pop up on any given issue and give stupid ad hoc reasons why the status quo should not be challenged.

You got it. The no senator shall speak twice on an issue regarding debate goes back to Thomas Jefferson era. Cloture aka the filibuster is a modern 20th Century invention after the Armed Ships Bill just before WWI was filibustered. Rules were changed for the first time to allow a motion to limit debate rather than rely on the old no senator shall speak twice issue. That lead to a cloture of 2/3rds but that still required talking and holding the floor. The modern filibuster was a Democrat 'reform' where it allowed the Senate to continue to act in other legislation without tying up the floor by simply refusing to limit debate and the threshold to limit debate was dropped to 60. But it did not eliminate the actual talking debate limits.

Enacting it will show that there have been tens of millions of fraudulent votes, or at minimum, that specific blue cities/counties, have been wildly overcounting votes (e.g. Detroit, Philadelphia) and then they will have to deal with it.

Who knows why RINOs don't want it - safe to assume that these people who have been in DC for decades are involved in things we have no insight into, resulting in allegiances and favors to people who don't want Voter ID. Heck, maybe they like knowing they can flip an election, or more particularly a primary, as needed using illegal means (like Murkowski winning the write-in vote after she was primaried).

However, ALL of us have had to endure sexual harassment awareness training for decades thanks to Anita Hill.

We all had to deal with the "campus rape culture" hysteria (Obama's term) and the #MeToo hysteria (Trump's term) where every man was slandered as a predator until he proves otherwise. "Teach Men not to rape" blah blah blah.

Every place I've worked there has been at least one case where someone went to far, and was fired.

We've all been playing by the rules, so I have no patience for anyone who engages in sexual harassment today.

After Swalwell, the next most-supported Democrats in the February poll from Emerson College were former Rep. After that was a slew of Democrats, including former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, who received 3.5% support; San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, who received 3.4%; former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who received 3%; former State Controller Betty Yee and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, who each received 2%; and former California Assembly Majority Leader Ian Calderon, who received 0.6%.

I think the real reason she's VA Gov is she passed the audition before the Dem Gov primary campaign. By meeting criteria such as being a plain-looking white female mom this time around (to keep the AWFLs and Karens on-board). Along with promising to govern as a rabidly partisan far-left activist. The latter in return for promises of bigger and better-paying (IYKWIM) jobs in the future. Pretty much the same Dem Party deal with Kathy Hochul in New York Gov. They know they can't yet win the governorship or trust a commie like Letitia James /spit/. Except Hochul is somehow making her promised money now.

I can buy trusting some specific pollsters months out from an election, but always with some kind of suspicion. Polling in general, though? A completely fucking waste of time outside of like 6 weeks from an election, and even then...suspicion.

Obsessing over them all the time?

There's a thing called response bias that really affects polling outside of the more concentrated periods right before an election that make polling essentially worthless unless actively worked against. Essentially, progressives like answering pollsters more than conservatives a year out from an election.

To coin a well know phrase, Democrat’s chickens are coming home to roost.
White Dem politicians in Texas have spent the last 30 years sucking up to their black voting block, building up inner city voting machines in places like Dallas, Houston, and Austin, telling low income voters that the only way to keep the benefits coming was to vote like a block for them.

They never considered that a black political figure could show up and easily steal this entire grievance mechanism out from under them, but that’s exactly what Jasmine is doing.

And she can play the race baiting game far far better than any of them ever could.

And blacks are only about 12 percent of the electorate in TX overall. They're about 23 percent of the Democrat electorate in TX.

And they're taking completely control because the white and Hispanic votes are more split.

When one racial group is large enough and votes as a block, they can dictate terms.

Surely this will have nothing to do with how things will play out in 2028, though.

From above, 'Sen. Alex Padilla’s Unhinged SOTU Response en Español: Trump Will Use ICE to ‘Steal the Midterm Elections’

This is the big progressive theory in SE PA, and has been for many months. Of late, it is alleged the specific claim was from Steve Bannon. "We're gonna have ICE surround the polls come November," originated with former Trump advisor Steve Bannon on his War Room podcast on February 3, 2026.

Asked Google's AI Overview: Trump will use ICE to steal mid-term elections began when and by whom? Who before Bannon because I've heard all of the local democratic representatives say that many months before?

In addition to the above, it followed with: (Re: Podcast on February 3, 2026.) Bannon stated this in the context of preventing the election from being "stolen again," a sentiment echoing Donald Trump's repeated, unproven claims of widespread voter fraud. (Refs - Democracy Docket, Truthout, and I've Had It Podcast)

Before Bannon's specific statement, general concerns and related actions by the Trump administration had been a topic of discussion among Democratic representatives and

Concerns over federal presence: Democrats had expressed alarm in recent months (prior to February 2026) that the Trump administration might deploy federal personnel or troops to polling places, which they viewed as a form of voter intimidation.

Trump's call to 'nationalize' elections: Just a day prior to Bannon's comments, on February 2, 2026, Donald Trump said the federal government should "nationalize the voting" and that Republicans should "take over" elections in several states.

ICE actions and voter data requests: In late January 2026, after federal agents were involved in incidents in Minneapolis, Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to Minnesota's governor, a Democrat, demanding the state turn over its voter rolls in exchange for a potential withdrawal of ICE agents. This action was interpreted by

FBI activity: Also around that time, FBI agents seized ballots from Fulton County, Georgia, a Democratic stronghold that had been a target of false fraud claims, raising further concerns among election experts and Democratic officials about interference. (NY Times, Politico, Common Dreams, MSNOW, Reuters)

So while the explicit phrase about ICE "surrounding the polls" came from Bannon, the broader fear of the Trump administration using federal resources, including ICE, to interfere with election administration and intimidate voters was a circulating concern and had been articulated by various Democratic officials prior to Bannon's specific threat. That part of the speech might actually have been the single most important. As I put last night:

Trump just said that we'd have a balanced budget if we eliminated the fraud.

That is a HUGE statement. Seriously freaking HUGE. That is *not* what the government reports just last month said.

He is either being typically bombastic, or he just very deliberately leaked something seriously big.

I really hope that it's the latter, and this was the opening shot in a major new push that will air a LOT of dirty laundry and dirty money. If so, that was the most important line in this speech.

They not coping well.

They said Trump didn't address the economic concerns of ordinary Americans, even though a huge portion of his speech was about that very subject.

They also said that the majority of illegal immigrants rounded up by President Trump had no criminal record. Which sounds like a lie since he seems to be focusing on the worst of the worst to get them out of the country.

And yet, the Labour Cabinet has more or less kept Starmer in power, at this point, I think sort of like Joe Biden was propped up in office. They can do what they like in the shadows while Starmer has to be spear catcher for all his past bad acts. Eventually, a year or so before the next general election, they will shove him aside and put someone new in, perhaps Angela Raymer as she is currently outside the government (got into a tax issue as Deputy PM early in the Starmer regime and was chucked out of it because of it.) No love lost between her and Starmer. But in the meantime, more illegals, more looting the public treasury, more taxes, and more crime and when the next general election rolls around--Labour will point and say Starmer did it and we got rid of him, now vote Labour please.

Odd they said that, given the main theme of the speech was cost reductions in energy, in mortgage and rents, in food (he recited specific reductions in items like milk, eggs, meat etc), and drugs. He had a woman in the audience who had been paying $4,000 for some drug and now gets it for $500.

Anyway, he went item by item, detailing cost improvements, and then he went through tax reductions affecting working people specifically, with his point being that overall incomes are up and costs are down. Working Americans are better off.

But quite simply, if you don't have the candidates, you cannot win seats. Britain is a first past the post system so even the last election, Labour barely won about 34 percent of the electorate yet totally dominated the seats. Restore could get 20 percent but if not dispersed in the correct districts, end up with a few just like Reform did in the last election.

In a first past the post system, aka majority/plurality in single member districts, there will be only two major parties. To change that, it means one of the minor parties has to assassinate an existing party or take advantage when one falls apart. Reform was trying to do that with the Tories but since the Tories had a wider dispersion of votes among the seats, 23.7 percent of the vote meant 121 seats. Reform, despite getting 14 percent of the vote, only got 6 seats. Liberal Democrats, on the other hand, got 64 seats from 12.2 percent of the vote.

That is why Trump decided against running third party in 2024 early on and decided to fix the GOP.
