Sanders answered, “No, I am not. And I think that’s a dumb statement. On the other hand, he has a whole lot of followers, and there are a lot of things that he’s saying that are making sense to a lot of people. I think we have to get above cancel culture. When you’re doing radio, whatever they do, podcasts three hours a day, you say dumb things. I suspect if you go back over your career, there may be one or two things that you’ve said that you may have regretted. But I think what we have got to do is look at the totality of where people are coming from and go forward.” Phillip then asked, “So, when someone like James Carville says he doesn’t want to be in the same political party as Hasan Piker, which one are you going to take?” Sanders answered, “Well, that’s not much of a choice. If Mr. Carville doesn’t want to be in my party, the party that I belong to, that Piker, that El-Sayed belongs to, he can start his own party. But, look, what we are doing now is, you can turn the tables around and say, do you really want to be in a party where your leadership is taking huge amounts of money from AIPAC, which is supporting an extremist Netanyahu government that many of us believe has committed genocide? Do you want to be in a party with people who do that? Do you want to be in a party which has not stood up to the AI industry, because they got a lot of money from AI or from crypto? So you could pick whatever you want to pick. But I think we need a big tent. And I think people like Piker should be welcome into that, certainly.”Yes, Bernie Sanders, whose closest encounter with Judaism is the occasional Pastrami Sandwich at Katz's deli, is as is painfully evident eagerly test marketing new Zyklon C and D for Hamas. And Carville despite being portrayed as some sort of voice of moderation was one of the key button men for the Clinton crime family and helped inflict them on America which not coincidentally led us to Obama, Biden and the near violent ripping apart of our society that we've been enduring and may yet, Despite the coming of MAGA and Donald Trump might yet come apart at the seams. And speaking of all of the above, this happened yesterday.
An armed man allegedly scouted President Trump’s California golf club before the commander in chief’s visit, and investigators say the arrest uncovered an illegal rifle, body armor and a weapons stash. Jeanine John Taele, 38, of Downey, was charged in a federal criminal complaint with possessing an unregistered short-barreled rifle after his arrest Saturday at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes. . . He allegedly approached federal agents and falsely claimed he worked for the State Department and was assigned to a security detail. So what is this now the fifth or sixth attempt on President Trump's life, that we know of anyway. Of course we have the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk as well as the various attacks on ICE and Law Enforcement officers which of course is another central political tenet of the Democrats, the abolition of the aforementioned and erasure of our borders. Related to all of that, this madness is going on in my newish home state of Wisconsin.
Yet in a city named for this Founding Father — Madison, Wisconsin — citizens have been harassed by roving bands of socialists, while city officials not only acquiesce but overtly support the seizure of property, restriction of free movement, and abuse of private businesses. The saga began on July 22, when four Madison police officers attempted to arrest Corey Ruiz, who was reportedly armed with a knife. A series of videos shows Ruiz resisting arrest and lunging at officers until one officer shot and killed him. According to police, Ruiz pulled out his knife and injured an officer before he was shot. . . Ruiz’s death sparked the typical leftist reaction: violence and threats of violence. All the necessary ingredients were present: the officers involved were white, and Ruiz was black (although five separate court records list him as “Caucasian,” which raises different questions) . . Leading candidate for Wisconsin governor and avowed “democratic” socialist Francesca Hong took to the streets hours after the death with a bullhorn to denounce the police.Of course this evil slag did that. If I were President Trump I'd invite the police officers to the White House and award them with some sort of medal for bravery and meritorious service. We're in a war for the soul and the future of this nation, our nation. It's us or them. Meanwhile, ho hum ho hum. Wildfires! No not climate change but yet another firebug who has to cause a manmade change of our climate to prove it exists. Either that or he's a wetback or a bum cooking a can of hobo stew. Nope, he's none of the above but you can bet who he votes for!
A 37-year-old man was arrested Monday for allegedly starting the largest of the three devastating Spokane, Washington-area wildfires that are leaving some residents with nothing. Aaron Farinacci, a Spokane resident who has a prior manslaughter conviction, was booked on suspicion of first degree arson in connection with the Old Trails Fire and was being held on $1 million bond, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said. Authorities began investigating Farinacci after a witness saw him kneeling near grass where the fire began, Spokane County Sheriff John Nowels told a press conference late Monday. . . “The individual we understand does have a criminal record,” Gov. Ferguson said. “It just takes a tragic situation, and makes it more heartbreaking to think that much of this damage could have been caused by an individual doing this on purpose. It adds to a really challenging situation.”Have a good day,
Yesterday, Governor Inslee (D-WA) said the fire in Spokane was from "climate change"

You will DEI -- or you will be imprisoned.
Scotland Yard, of course, is the UK's national police force.
Police investigated journalist who tried to expose Cambridge professor Reporter accused of harassment after emailing series of questions to Jason Arday about his academic record
Scotland Yard investigated a journalist trying to expose a plagiarism row and told him to stop asking a Cambridge professor questions.
So the fake DEI "professor" -- let's say he's a "perfesser" -- is playing the race card with gusto. But it's not working. So he's playing the "autism" card now, too. See, he's autistic, that's why he committed plagiarism throughout his entire career. I don't know if you guys know this, but autism makes people less detail-oriented. #Science!
Jack Grove, a reporter for Times Higher Education (THE), was accused of harassment after he emailed a series of questions to Prof Jason Arday about his academic record. Mr Grove said officers told him to stop contacting the professor because his "mental health" had been affected by the questions. Prof Arday also hired the law firm Carter-Ruck, which suggested in a letter to THE that its "apparent attack" on him "may be... racially motivated". The Metropolitan Police spent four months looking into the claim of harassment before deciding in February to close the case. The police did not interview Mr Grove, who only found out about the investigation when the Met contacted him to inform him that they would not be taking action. The Met also reportedly passed on a complaint to another force about an academic who was also looking into the academic record of Prof Arday, but the other force refused to investigate. The Met is among forces that have been accused in recent months of wasting time on pointless investigations while insisting that they do not have the manpower to routinely attend burglaries and other crimes. Mr Grove told The Telegraph that he had been "stunned" to receive a phone call from the police to be told he had been investigated simply for doing his job. He said: "I was told a complaint had been made against me and investigated, but the force was not taking it forward. The officer told me that I shouldn't contact Professor Arday again because his mental health had been affected by my actions. "I asked him what I had done, and he said there had been online posts about Professor Arday. I said I'd never posted anything about him and asked him if he realised he was speaking to a journalist who was investigating a story. He didn't really respond but repeated his request for me not to contact Professor Arday again, citing his mental health. "I was just doing my job. Journalists should be free to ask questions of anyone, even star professors. It's very rare that academics refuse to speak to the press -- that caused me to look into this matter further and I was astonished by what I found."
OMG, "Perfesser," that's wonderful. "My autism makes me learn through mimicry, aka plagiarism." Wonderful. Wonderful!
Prof Arday has, in recent days, put his apparent plagiarism down to autism, saying he absorbs information through mimicry.
Charity fundraisers often force people to sign NDAs so that no one knows where the money came from, or, where it's going to. (No one ever received these alleged funds, but I guess that's covered by the NDA.) And his confabulations aren't done yet!
He has also admitted that a claim about running 600 miles in six days for charity was wrong (saying it took 12 days) and has said that he did not single-handedly raise £5.5m for charity but was part of a syndicate of around 100 people, none of whom he can name because he signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Anne Applebaum has a suspicion that Perfesser's career was orchestrated by Donald Trump and the "far right" Spanish party Vox. In the New York Times' cover-up coverage, they wait until the 19th paragraph to report, oh by the way, yes the Perfesser clearly plagiarized. Not that that matters. Trivial detail!
It also emerged on Tuesday that Prof Arday falsely claimed to have been a visiting professor at Ohio State University. On the Cambridge Faculty of Education page, he claims to be a visiting professor at the US university in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. However, a university spokesman said they had "no record of an employee by that name" and that "visiting professors appear in our employment records". Ohio State's Office of Diversity and Inclusion also closed last year. It comes a day after Glasgow University denied Prof Arday's claims that he was a visiting professor in the university's School of Education.

The Far Right Is Distorting CeutaOh! It proves that what we've been saying for ten years is true, but we know it can't be true, therefore, this Deep Thinker postulates an ass-pull conspiracy theory that the right must be "orchestrating" the invasion. Wow, so intellectual. A fact you don't like appears so you go full Marjorie Trailer-Queen.
We've seen this before. By Anne Applebaum Mostly young, mostly male Moroccans crawling onto beaches, climbing hills, scaling walls, jumping over fences, surging past police in order to get into Europe: The photographs and videos that emerged from Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa, on July 29 and 30 looked very much like migrant-terror videos, deliberately designed to be broadcast by the international far right. So closely did this incident resemble the "invasion" that MAGA and its European friends have long said is under way that it was hard not to suspect that it had been orchestrated.
As I am writing this, much is still not known about the 60,000-odd people who swam from Morocco to Ceuta last week. But we do know that many of them saw social-media posts encouraging them to swim to Ceuta and, perhaps, to thereby precipitate a crisis. Ceuta has been a Spanish city since the 16th century, but it is not part of mainland Spain. Nor is it possible to cross from Ceuta to mainland Spain, and therefore into the Schengen Area, the European Union's free-movement zone, without crossing a checkpoint. Illegal immigrants cannot travel from Ceuta to mainland Spain at all. After the jump is video allegedly showing "migrants" boarding a plane to fly to Spain. But the conspiracy theorist Anne Applebaum insists this is all impossible. Wait, she didn't say that did she? She hinted it was impossible without actually committing herself to that.
She's hinting that the righties did this? No, it's leftwing NGOs. They're on video helping the invaders.
Last week, according to El Pais as well as other Spanish, international, and Moroccan media outlets, many Moroccans saw a TikTok video nevertheless claiming that "the Spanish border is open and you can cross without papers," meaning they could reach the European continent. The video appeared to reference a recent ruling by the Spanish supreme court making it harder to return migrants who arrive by sea, but it was not the only encouragement. Other messages, many of which have now disappeared, told people where to buy wet suits, flippers, goggles, floats, and even waterproof bags for documents and cellphones. Screenshots from Google Maps told them which sections of the Ceuta beach might have fewer police. Moroccan border guards were either unwilling or unable to stop them.
Yes that's why Biden let 9-20 million illegals flood into our country, too. They illegals put themselves in danger so what can you do besides let them in, thus encouraging the next waves of dangerous border-rushing.
Surprised by the unprecedented numbers and perhaps fearing hundreds would drown--in the end, at least 70 people died in the water, including some children--the Spanish police let them land on the beach.
. This is when the photographs and videos began to circulate. Among those promoting them were senior members of the Trump administration, and senior leaders of the European far right.Oh and we're wrong to publicize a major international incident because this bitch's socialist Davos pals haven't worked out their cover story yet.
Once again: Access to Ceuta does not give anyone automatic access to the rest of Europe. There she goes again -- she says it doesn't grant "automatic" access, and wants you to infer from that that it doesn't grant access at all. The Spanish Supreme Court ruled you cannot eject illegal aliens who come by sea. Therefore these people are due asylum. A checkpoint is no barrier if the officials wave you through it, Anne. You know that, don't you?
... It remains unclear who created the viral posts that encouraged the would-be migrants to believe that they could get to Europe from Ceuta. There she goes again, hinting her conspiracy theory that JD Vance and Stephen Miller must have orchestrated this to make her traitorous transnational political cult look bad.
But those who want to weaken the Spanish government, boost the European far right, and create turmoil inside the EU lost little time in promoting the photographs as soon as they arrived. ... The Trump administration, which has also questioned Britain's control of the Falkland Islands and Denmark's control of Greenland, might be interested in the same thing. Recently, a congressional report described the cities as "under Spanish administration," rather than a part of Spain. Trump himself has reasons to be pleased with Morocco, which has joined his Board of Peace and named a highway in his honor. He also has reasons to dislike Sánchez, who refused to let the U.S. use Spanish military bases for Trump's war in Iran and says he will not, like the rest of NATO, raise his country's defense spending to 5 percent of its GDP.So there you go: She is pushing this conspiracy theory in Steven Jobs' widow's vanity magazine.
Tell me, is there any alternative explanation besides the convoluted Trump Did It To Embarrass the Spanish Socialists ones, Anne? I know you're a deep thinker so surely you have another theory?
Oh, the anti-immigrant Spanish right must have done it.
Others also had reasons to exploit the incident. Inside Spain, where Sánchez's administration and party are under investigation for corruption--a former party leader is alleged to have ties to Chinese and Venezuelan criminal networks--the prime minister has plenty of opponents. One politician from Vox, the Spanish far-right party, visited Ceuta and called for "everyone to defend their family with whatever they have at hand."
... Readers can be forgiven for feeling a strong sense of déją vu. For more than a decade now, European and indeed American politicians have known that real, fake, enhanced, or context-free pictures of migrants jumping fences will immediately create a wave reaction.Oh, these videos are cheapfakes, huh?
Military rhetoric will be used--attack or invasion--and, to quote Vance, "radical left-wing globalist policies" will be blamed. Hardly anyone will ask why it is that so many people are so desperate to move that they will risk their lives. Few will mourn the dead.I don't care why they're coming, Anne.
Fuck you. She claims that all of the illegals have already gone home "voluntarily." She says this because a socialist, Pedro Sanchez, says it, and of course all statements made by leftists are self-verifying. Don't bother looking at the actual videos showing the invaders still present and howling in the streets. Those are cheapfakes!
Instead, far-right and MAGA politicians, influencers, and podcasters will immediately use the most divisive language possible in order to make voters as angry as possible, as fast as possible, regardless of what actually happened. Almost everyone else will be intimidated by their fury. As it turns out, it's harder to stop the wave of anger than it is to stop the migrants themselves.
Nick shirley
@nickshirleyy 🚨 Here is the truth from Ceuta, Spain: 60,000+ migrants from Morocco's border stormed the small town and are now hiding in the mountains and city to reach mainland Europe. Moroccan migrants said Moroccan authorities let them through their border and Spain literally opened their gates upon arrival. Many migrants thank PM Pedro Sánchez for opening the border... Ceuta is now effectively shut down due to looting concerns, and the military is losing power as migrants outnumber them and continue to escape into the mountains. Now thousands of military age men are set to spread throughout Europe due to one country's "failure."

She declared that Thanksgiving should be cancelled during the covid lockdowns, but went further: She said it should have been cancelled since its founding in 1621, because it's "painful" to hysterical identity-politics-drenched racists.
Mediaite:"Cancel Thanksgiving. Should have done this in 1621," Hong posted. "If it takes a worldwide pandemic for us to realize we should stop celebrating colonialism and the original superspreader event that killed Indegenous [sic] folx [sic] and women so be it."CNN's top tranny Kaitlin Collins asked her if she still wanted to cancel Thankgiving. She danced around the question -- but did not say "no."
I'm a chef, and one of the first meals that I made that was for the community when i was 16 was a Thanksgiving meal. I always think my hospitality background and owning a restaurant for 7-8 years, that bringing folks around the table to share conversation and build community is always a good thing. But Thanksgiving is also a time that's incredibly painful for many people in our communities. So I think there I wanted to make sure people understood there are multiple views, but views can evolve.

It's so good you guys.

Update: A news article.
A Democratic congressional candidate running against incumbent U.S. Rep. Jill Tokuda was arrested Saturday after a violent altercation at Keawakapu Beach in South Kihei. Kirill Basin, 40, was charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, and his bail was set at $1 million. According to Maui Police Department, the incident began when a 61-year-old man asked Basin to lower the volume of his music. Basin allegedly threatened the man by implying he had a firearm and would shoot the victim's wife. A bystander intervened, leading to a physical altercation during which Basin allegedly armed himself with a knife and threatened multiple people before throwing it into the ocean. The knife was later recovered by police. Video of the incident was widely shared on social media, including by the accounts HHHNewz and MaileMalia369. Prior Arrests And Restraining Orders Police say Basin has been arrested for other incidents of assault and property damage since May. Several people have taken out temporary restraining orders against him, including Maui County Council member Thomas Cook, who said he was worried about his personal safety and for his staff after Basin disrupted a meeting in May. Cook said Basin "became aggressive and confrontational" and "threatened violence against the police" and a council ambassador. Two days later, on May 29, reports circulated that Basin "brandished a weapon in a county office building in a confrontation with county employees."He thinks he's badass because he got an ugly tribal tattoo. Here's the end of the exchange. Below, the longer video, showing the build-up to the knockout. By the way, this punch is... so-so. This guy is a complete pussy for going down like a sack of lube over such a love-tap.

Endless sympathy for the devil, because they see themselves in the devil.
A Spokane, Washington, man was arrested and charged with setting the largest of three wildfires that crews have been battling in the region this week. Aaron F. Farinacci, 37, was arrested Monday and charged with suspicion of first-degree arson in connection with the Old Trails Fire, according to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, the Associated Press reported. Farinacci was previously convicted of felony manslaughter in Arizona. He shot his father to death because his father told this lunatic man-child to do the dishes. He also shot his mother. Democrats allowed him to plead down to manslaughter.
... Farinacci was again identified when major crimes detectives began investigating reports and footage from body cameras, which indicated the fire started near where the witness had seen a man by the side of the road. Farinacci had matches and a butane lighter when he was arrested, Nowles said. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Matt Van Swol
@mattvanswol 🚨#BREAKING: A man who m*rdered his own FATHER because he was asked to WASH DISHES... is now accused of setting a fire that burned roughly 700 homes to the ground and forced 65,000 people to flee. Yes, he k*lled his dad over DISHES and he wasn't in prison. His name is Aaron Farinacci. He's 37. Back in 2010, in Mesa, Arizona, Farinacci got into an argument with his father, because his father asked him to do the dishes. So he shot him de*d. Then he pointed the gun at his own mother. Then he shot himself and survived. He was charged with first-degree M*RDER... but that got knocked down, and he pleaded guilty to mansl*ughter. Now fast forward to this week in Spokane, Washington. The Old Trails Fire tore through neighborhoods north of the city. It destroyed around 700 structures, most of them homes. As many as 65,000 people were forced to evacuate. Investigators say it was intentionally set. And they've arrested Aaron Farinacci. Police say he had waterproof matches and a butane lighter on him and found him kneeling in the grass right where the fire started. The sheriff says he's been contacted before for "arson-related behavior." Here's the part that will make you sick. On the DAY the fire started, a witness reported a nervous man in the trees. Police actually stopped Farinacci a mile away, questioned him... and let him GO. Now 700 families may be staring at the ashes of everything they built. But here's who got him: ordinary citizens. Neighbors who saw something wrong and refused to stay quiet. The prosecutor said that this case was cracked by "vigilant citizens" who spoke up. THANK GOD for people who pay attention. He's charged with first-degree arson, held on a $1 million bond. GOOD. How does a man plead guilty to k*lling his own father... and end up free, with a lighter, next to 65,000 people's homes? Somebody needs to answer for that. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS.

Our government budget is 90% fraud.
The specific fraud type is yet again a Democrat creation. The Democrats wanted to pay people for "home health care" -- basically a non-medical-professional person dropping by someone's house and getting paid for it. It turns out that in 96% of the cases being charged here for fraud, the exact illness the "patients" were supposedly being treated for is "illness unspecified." Yeah I'll bet it's unspecified. Why? Because if you're defrauding the government, it's easier to say "I don't know why I'm sick" then get an actual diagnosis from a doctor. Not that you can't pay a corrupt doctor to submit phony diagnoses. That's a cornerstone of this industry the left has created to steal money from actual workers. But an actual illness could be expected to heal at some point, or kill the "patient," and it's just easier to claim you have some unknown, unidentifiable malady, who knows what it could be. All you know for sure is that you need the government to pay your husband $50,000 to "care" for you.
DOJ charges 19 defendants in alleged $4 million Philadelphia Medicare and Medicaid fraud scheme In one case, a Medicaid recipient filed claims for extensive home health assistance while also working as a carpenter, prosecutors said.
Federal and Pennsylvania authorities charged 19 defendants who are accused of participating in a $4 million scheme involving Medicare and Medicaid claims. Among the defendants are home health care company owners, their employees and Medicaid recipients, Fox News reported. Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave on Sunday announced a plea agreement involving a defendant in a separate case in which 21 people were charged with fraud involving more than $1.7 million in claims. The defendants are alleged to have billed Medicaid for home health services while they were incarcerated, hospitalized, working other jobs or traveling overseas. In one case, a Medicaid recipient filed claims for extensive home health assistance while also working as a carpenter, prosecutors said. Other defendants are alleged to have submitted overlapping or impossible work hours, such as care that exceeded 24 hours in a single day.

@EricLDaugh 1h 🚨 HOLY SMOKES. In a massive revelation of fraud in Pennsylvania, Dr. Oz just confirmed that over 96% PERCENT of personal care claims are "illness unspecified..." ...which makes them UNTRACKABLE The average payments per beneficiary: "More than $50,000. Think about that. PER PERSON. FAR above what's expected." "Over 96% of personal care claims here are 'illness unspecified.' That's how they're titled, so we can't track them....can't possibly find the fraud because people aren't telling us what they're doing!" "All of this points to FRAUD."

@17QStorm
🚨96% OF PENNSYLVANIA'S PERSONAL CARE CLAIMS ARE LITERALLY UNTRACKABLE Dr. Oz just dropped the hammer live. Over 96% of the claims are coded "illness unspecified." No diagnosis. No details. Nothing the system can audit. Average payout per beneficiary: more than $50,000. Far above anything that makes sense. He said it straight: "That's how they're titled, so we can't track them... can't possibly find the fraud because people aren't telling us what they're doing." "All of this points to FRAUD." This is how the machine loots taxpayers in broad daylight -- hide the illness, cash the check, repeat. Trump's CMS is finally shining the light. The swamp hates it.

Supposedly. Scott Bessent and Marco Rubio say a deal is imminent-adjacent.
Hot Air quotes Reuters. This doesn't sound like a bona fide deal to me. This sounds like more duplicitous Iranian bullshit, still insisting they get to control the Strait and charges "tariffs" on oil ships, which they then use to buy missiles to shoot at Americans:
Although Bessent insisted a future deal would include "freedom of movement," a Reuters report published on Tuesday morning said Iran was expecting to maintain control of inbound traffic in the Strait of Hormuz in a deal being negotiated with Oman, citing an Iranian source. Outbound traffic would take a route between the two countries, and Iran would maintain oversight on those traffic lanes as well. Despite Iran's past insistence they were not directly negotiating with the U.S., Trump said on Monday the talks were "going on right now." The president said he called off strikes over the weekend, which he claimed would have been "harder than any attack... since World War II." Trump said the talks were "backed" by other countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. "I want to give them every last chance before decapitation," he said later.

Taking as his inspiration the eponymous poem of 1833 by Alfred de Musset, Gervex transposes the narrative into fashionable contemporary Paris, signalled by the wrought iron railings and view of the Haussmannised cityscape beyond, the grand boulevard backdrop recognized by some viewers as the fashionable Boulevard des Italiens. Jacques Rolla, a well-born bourgeois, has decided to spend his final night with the prostitute Marion, having squandered his fortune on a life of debauchery. The scene depicts the morning after: while Marion lies asleep, Rolla broods on his fate and contemplates suicide by jumping from the window. The model for Marion is based on several women - the actress Ellen Andrée, a favorite of Renoir, Manet and Degas (she is the sitter in Degas' L'Absinthe of 1876) posed for the body, but demanded that a different model be used for the face. That little comment about Paris being "Haussmannised" is a pomposity, signalling that the writer is one of the elite who knows who Baron Haussmann was. Except...every Parisian knows who he was, and it's not that big a deal. It's like a New Yorker knowing who Robert Moses was. So? He was an urban planner who changed some of NYC, some for the good and some definitely not. But it's a hometown detail, and not a signal of one's intelligence. And in the "bourgeois" I get a whiff of Marxist dialectic, which deserves a whiff of grapeshot. But I digress.
Manet, Degas, Stevens, the young, the old, everyone trooped in front of the canvas which was already famous before it entered the Salon…However, hardly had it been hung on the wall when the surintendant des Beaux- Arts, Turquet, gave the brutal order that it be removed on grounds of immorality, with the complicity of the Salon jury…that’s how an art dealer offered to exhibit Rolla at his shop on the Chaussée-d’Antin… I accepted, as you can imagine, with gratitude, and for three months there was indeed an uninterrupted procession of visitors with a queue of carriages backed up to the Opera.
-- Henri Gervex

Good morning kids. Early post this morning as I have a medical appointment and a long drive ahead... As I, CBD and others have discussed on these pages and elsewhere while depriving or at the very least delaying Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons will preserve civilization and save countless millions of lives at least in the short term. However long that period of time may be, because Islam was is and always will be on the march to conquer the world and quite likely bring about armageddon to do so, as has always been the case with the Shi'ite part of that blood thirsty creed since it is a central tenet of its philosophy. And so with that in mind, my support for President Trump's efforts thus far in getting us to at least the point of buying us some time is unwavering and remains so. And yet here we are today with the Mullahs still in power, albeit their military might severely degraded. But the question for President Trump is what is the endgame, or more to the point how are we to go about actually achieving that endgame, which I have to assume is permanently denying Iran the ability to threaten its neighbors with nuclear weapons or garden variety terrorism that it has unleashed on the world since Jimmy Carter helped birth the cancer emanating from Tehran in 1979, pig-piss be upon him for all eternity for that alone.
. . .“the call-off comes, as President Trump said Saturday, the framework for a new deal featuring a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and denuclearization for Iran has been reached. The president did not rule out further military action if talks fall through.” Of course. As he has so many times before. Trump said: “You see, you see how it is. We’re ready to go anytime we want. Would I rather make a deal? I’m not looking to kill people. Because people die, a lot of people die, and we don’t want that.” Of course. No one does. But all this means is that more people are going to die at the hands of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Meanwhile, just as predictably, “Iran’s foreign minister said today direct talks with the U.S. are not underway.” Of course. They never are, if the Islamic Republic is to be believed, even as Trump insists that Iran’s shadowy leaders are begging and pleading to make a deal. . . I’m old enough to remember, especially since it was just a few weeks ago, when Trump was excoriating the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran as “scum,” and saying that it was useless to try to negotiate with them. What did the Saudis and Qataris and Emiratis tell him to convince him otherwise? Or maybe he needed no convincing, since it wasn’t long before he was dismissing them that Trump himself was praising Iran’s leaders, and suggesting that since they were so calm and reasonable, as opposed to those whom they had replaced, that regime change had been effectively accomplished, even if the regime still bore the same.So what is this really all about? Is it merely headline-grabbing in an attempt to mollify the electorate in the run-up to the midterms which really are just around the corner, or what the hell else is it? Honestly, I have no idea what our famed deal-maker-in-chief is thinking. For sure, Donald Trump has a hell of a huge ego and cannot abide the thought of being seen on the losing end of anything. And I have no doubt that he is a patriot and has our nation's best interests at heart so that gives me some measure of comfort. But of course the situation is fluid and has all too often been the case, those who have his ear do not. So, as he himself is wont to say we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm awfully tired of that. The mullahs have got to go, forever. And that's been the situation since long before President Trump. For almost 1,500 years but who's counting, right? And on a lighter note, I'll leave you with this amusing link for breakfast.
Well when I saw this I immediately thought what a a perfect metaphor for Socialism. You get up at the crack of dawn, plant your ass in a cold river use your skills and wiles to reel in a big fish only to have a huge dangerous beast of a smelly Commie bear grab it from you as you wet yourself in fear that if you don't hand it over and beat a hasty retreat you'll be mauled to death. Yup, there are your Democrats and Socialists since they are now one and the same as you can see from the links and from history. Yup, there are your Democrats and Socialists since they are now one and the same as you can see from the links and from history. What's more of an existential threat, a potential Muslim nuke (hell Pakistan already has them) or the Guerrillas in our midst known as the Left. Damn calling them Commie is now like blowing kisses at the bastards!
Like all good Marxists, these “ends-justify-the-means” leftists show an utter lack of principle: if two new red states wished to join the U.S., they would lecture us on the sanctity of a 50-state union. If they were a permanent Senate minority, they would, as in the past, honor the filibuster. If they had lost the popular vote in two recent elections but won the Electoral College, they would praise the wisdom of the Founders. If they had their Earl Warren-era majority again, they would laud the continuity of the 157-year-old nine-justice Supreme Court. . . Recently, on cable news, the national co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, Megan Romer, was asked a series of questions about her group’s published agenda. Far from denying its communist radicalism, she gleefully confirmed it all—from destroying the border to ending prisons, the military, and the police. . . Far from denying its communist radicalism, she gleefully confirmed it all—from destroying the border to ending prisons, the military, and the police. . . In sum, to make a new socialist America, you must first destroy everything that made Americans and all that they hold dear.If we do not stop them we will be facing mass graves. The only question is will they be ours or theirs? Either way not something I ever anticipated I'd have to contemplate. Oh well.

- Victor Davis Hanson: The farther today's Democratic Socialists advance, the less they resemble reformers—and the more they embrace policies long associated with communism.
Is ‘Communist’ No Longer a Slur?
- Glenn Reynolds: But while I’d be happy to see Fauci in the dock, his reputational downfall can’t be the end of the COVID reckoning. . . we should never again allow a single bureaucrat or a small group to exercise the sweeping and largely unchecked institutional power that Fauci wielded for decades.

Also CNN, who got everything wrong on covid: RFKJr. targets Fauci and pushes medical misinformation in fiery CNN interview The concept of "Maybe you should just sit this one out" never occurs to a narcissist deluded with a self-conception as an Expert Genius. Do you hate Ken Jennings, the leftwing lunatic and former Jeopardy champ who the show made their host for some reason, making viewers like me permanently stop watching the show? Well, you and transgenders have something in common. For some reason, trannies have decided that no one is allowed to read the New York Times any more. I guess maybe the NYT wrote one or two articles that suggested their mental illness wasn't the greatest so now you're not allowed to read it. Anyway, Ken Jennings bragged about playing some NYT word-game and the trannies have been dragging him for days on BlueSky.
Dr. Ashish Jha on COVID-19: 'It probably was a lab leak' Former Biden White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator, Dr. Ashish Jha, tells Dana Bash, "When I went into the White House, my view was this was almost surely a natural outbreak, maybe a lab leak. Based on information I learned and based on information I've seen, I have come to conclude that it is more likely to have been a lab leak."

Andrew Kolvet, spokesman for Turning Point USA, spoke with DHS and confirmed that more than 1.4 million illegal aliens have been deported within the last 12 months. When it comes to the housing crisis, the bad job market, the crime wave in urban areas, and other economic and social problems, we find that illegal immigration has exacerbated or caused them all.
Advertisement Kolvet posted on X on Sunday, "Just spoke to a source at DHS. A new report on deportations for the last 12 months just dropped which includes all deportation flights (commercial + government planes): Total alien forced departures of 1,461,529. The last 7 day average of forced removals: 4,291/day (believed to be a new all-time high)". He clarified, "This does not include self deportations." There are up to 30 million illegal aliens in the United States, but it is difficult to get an exact number precisely because they didn't go through vetting to enter our country, and Democrats are not interested in being honest with statistics on the subject. Indeed, since somewhere between nine million and 20 million illegal aliens entered just under Joe Biden, it is possible that more than 30 million illegal aliens have entered the United States within the last half a century. The point is, we don't know for certain what the numbers are, but we do know they are massive. That is why mass deportations are so important.
Cornyn and Tills have finally agreed to vote in favor of Todd Blanche as AG -- but they demanded Trump end his weaponization reimbursement fund for their vote.
Gunther Eagleman
@GuntherEagleman 🚨 1,645 Arrests. Every. Single. Day. July just became the biggest month in ICE history, nearly 51,000 illegal aliens taken off the streets. June set the record. July shattered it. Thousands of brand-new agents are now flooding American cities because President Trump actually funded the fight. This is what real enforcement looks like. No amnesty.
No catch-and-release.
No excuses. Mass deportations are no longer a campaign promise. They're happening. Keep going. Full throttle!
Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., issued a joint statement on Monday, confirming their plans to support acting Attorney General Todd Blanche for confirmation to the post. The senators had sought written confirmation from the Department of Justice that it would abandon an "anti-weaponization" fund that it had briefly established as part of a settlement with the IRS over the leak of President Donald Trump's tax returns. Blanche obliged.

The left's playbook is to engage in outrageous abuse of the populations they dominate but then demand people "be nice" and respectful about the massive and alien Cultural Enrichment they impose on society.
It works... until it doesn't work. Until they show their ass too much. Until they get a little too brazen and a little too clear about their agenda to destroy civilization itself:

BREAKING: The prime ministers of 22 out of 27 EU member states have written a joint letter to the EU, demanding an emergency summit over the invasion of illegal migrants in Ceuta. They are outraged by the recent ruling of the Spanish Supreme Court: 🇮🇹 Italy 🇩🇪 Germany 🇩🇰 Denmark 🇫🇮 Finland 🇸🇪 Sweden 🇦🇹 Austria 🇧🇪 Belgium 🇳🇱 Netherlands 🇧🇬 Bulgaria 🇨🇾 Cyprus 🇸🇮 Slovenia 🇭🇷 Croatia 🇨🇿 Czechia 🇸🇰 Slovakia 🇪🇪 Estonia 🇱🇻 Latvia 🇱🇹 Lithuania 🇫🇮 Finland 🇬🇷 Greece 🇭🇺 Hungary 🇵🇱 Poland 🇷🇴 Romania France, Ireland and Portugal were the only larger EU states that didn't sign the letter.
From David Strom: Spain's socialist president is pretending to do something to forestall all of Europe putting up borders around Spain and effectively ejecting it from the Union. It's all a lie, though. He will do nothing serious. This is the plan. Like Iran, he's just playing for time while he works on his nukes.
Pedro Sánchez is a socialist, so none of us should be surprised that he is lying when he tells everybody that the situation in Ceuta is back under control. It is anything but. Now it's true that most of the people who stormed the border have filtered back into Morocco, but about 20-25 percent are sticking it out and making clear that they have no interest in going back home. It's also true that the border is not secure. If people decide to cross it, they can. It's just a bit harder.
