His campaign raised just over $1,200 in the first fundraising quarter of this year, according to federal election records. But running again means Menendez can continue raising funds and using them for legal expenses. He had more than $5.67 million cash on hand at the end of March.
Another shocker! Aren't our campaign finance laws grand! It is undoubtedly a pipe dream, but it certainly would be nice if Menendez was able to draw enough votes from the heir apparent to the senate sinecure -- Andy Kim -- and allow the Republican (whoever that may be) to win in November. Kim is a machine politician without an ounce of original thought, and as far as I can tell he has never worked in the private sector, so we will undoubtedly be getting another cog in the vast Deep StateTM machine. Oh goody! [Crossposted at CutJibNewsletter]

David Wilkie This is by no means great art, but it is competently painted and I think accurately evokes an important event in a particular time and place. To me that is immortal, and this sort of stuff has a place in our museums.

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) sounded off over the weekend about “domestic terrorists” who support former President Donald Trump, saying they should be investigated for potentially plotting a “civil war.”
So, does voting for Donald Trump constitute an act of insurrection and or treason? Should he be the likely nominee of the GOP for the 2024 election be a reason to outlaw the GOP? Considering his massive campaign donation haul since the kangaroo court conviction, is each donor now guilty of fomenting a civil war and subject to imprisonment? Hey, I'm just connecting the dots of what no doubt is running through the reptilian notochord of this evil decrepit succubus and everyone of her fellow travelers. Between rigging elections, perverting the notion of equal justice under a just and stable law and fomenting civil unrest and societal dissolution as a means to obtain and maintain absolute power.
That Lincoln did not completely and utterly dismantle the Democrat Party post 1865 is his great failing because we have had to contend with that evil in one way or another since then. Of course, Lincoln was assassinated in 1865 so I guess the failing was that of the Republican Party and the people in the wake of Lincoln's assassination. With the ascendancy of Marxism/socialism/progressivism as the vehicle by which the accursed Democrats turned us upside down and inside out beginning in the early part of the 20th century, we have all but come full circle in the near complete demise of the American experiment that the founders warned us was likely to be our fate: The Left infamously coined the phrase that the Constitution is not a suicide pact. Of course, what they mean by that is something entirely different. Considering what the Left is and what Democrats are, the Constitution was meant to be the means by which to contain their reptilian desires to enslave us. They have effectively used it as both a shield and cudgel to take us to the brink of extinction. Can we claw our way back? And if so, at what cost? On a personal note: I cannot adequately express my gratitude to all of you who have reached out to me with your personal good wishes and prayers, as well as for hitting our tip jar. God bless you all.

- In addition to the Zen 5 desktop lineup, AMD has announced its first Zen 5 laptop CPUs, codenamed Strix Point. (Tom's Hardware)
These are mainstream chips with integrated graphics.
Compared to the previous generation, the CPU cores increase from 8 to 12, and the graphics cores from 12 to 16.
Eight of the twelve CPU cores are the smaller, slower, Zen 5c, so the 12 core model is probably equivalent to a 10 core Zen 5 CPU - or as fast as a 12 core Zen 4.
The model I'm really waiting for is Strix Point Halo, with more than 16 CPU cores - we don't know exactly how many - and 40 graphics cores. That hasn't been announced yet.
- Asus has announced several laptops based on the new AMD chips. (Liliputing)
None of them have the Four Essential Keys.
No release dates yet but this particular model is listed for pre-order at Best Buy for $1399.

many Americans had a different impression of the Trump verdict: that his conviction was proof of corruption, not justice. And while a snap poll showed that 54 percent of registered voters "strongly" or "somewhat" approved of the guilty verdict, more than a third of voters said they "strongly" or "somewhat" disapproved. Meanwhile, as media analysts were busy celebrating the verdict, with ABC's chief White House correspondent calling it a "political gift to Democrats," searches for "donate to Trump" spiked on Google. So many people were rushing to Trump's fundraising page that the site temporarily crashed. By the next morning, his campaign announced that nearly $35 million had poured in overnight--almost 30 percent of which appeared to come from first-time Trump donors. By late Friday, the campaign stated that the total had climbed to nearly $53 million. Who are these sudden supporters? We wanted to find out. Here, seven people tell us how they made the journey from Never Trump to Trump Now. Shaun Maguire: "The Republican Party is less of a danger to democracy than the Democratic Party right now." Maguire, 38, is a Los Angeles--based partner at Sequoia, one of the most well-known venture capital firms in the country. He previously worked at Google, but left in 2019 when he says the company became too "woke." The married father of two says he's never voted for a Republican presidential candidate before. In 2016, he donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign. But within an hour after Thursday's news, Maguire posted on X that he'd donated $300,000 to Trump--a candidate he says once made him feel "deathly afraid." In a 3,500-word essay, he listed his reasons for backing the ex-president, including the Biden administration's "incompetent" withdrawal from Afghanistan, but the main reason that "boiled my blood," he wrote, was "the double standards and lawfare that Trump has faced." The tweet quickly went viral and elicited a response from Elon Musk, who wrote in the replies, "I think you're right." Speaking to The Free Press, Maguire said Trump's conviction "makes me want to support him even more." But, he added, "it wasn't the conviction as much as it was the charges being brought in the first place. These are not democratic tactics being used. "In 2016, I thought it was likely that Trump was both owned by Russia and that he would be highly corrupt and undemocratic. That made me deathly afraid. But after seeing his actions as president, that foreign influence never seemed to have materialized. I think he was one of the strongest foreign policy presidents we've ever had. "We were told that Donald Trump would be the end of democracy, but it turns out that lawfare tactics have been escalated by the Democrats and not by the Republicans. And so it's from that backdrop that I believe the Republican Party is less of a danger to democracy than the Democratic Party right now." On announcing his support for Trump publicly, Maguire said, "I feel very principled. I've done an unbelievable amount of homework and I changed my mind." He added that he's seen a similar political "shift" happening among his Silicon Valley compatriots, a sentiment that's also being echoed on social media. Even so, he said his own change of heart has surprised many close to him, even himself: "The 2016 version of myself would have hated this version of myself."The Washington Post reports two polls showing that a frighteningly thin majority -- or mere plurality -- oppose sending the current front-running presidential candidate to prison.
They're Voting for Trump to Save 'Democracy
Kate Nitti: "I feel the need to send a message to the Democrats."' Kate Nitti, 40, is a marketing consultant and a married mother of two now living in New Jersey. A lifelong Democrat, she said she voted solely for her party's representatives for more than twenty years when she still lived in Brooklyn. But then, in 2021, she marked her ballot for a Republican for the first time--Curtis Sliwa, the GOP candidate for NYC mayor--to protest how Democrats had "abused their power" during Covid with school lockdowns, and vaccine and mask mandates for kids. In 2022, she voted for Republican Lee Zeldin for New York governor, and she even switched her party registration from Democrat to Republican "in the hopes of getting a more centrist candidate" in the midterm primaries that year. Although until recently she had been firmly in the RFK Jr. camp, she said she would consider voting for Trump because "I feel the need to send a message to the Democrats that their dirty politics will not be rewarded." With Trump facing a fine, probation, or four years in prison for each of the 34 counts he's been convicted of, "I'm definitely going to be paying close attention to the response to this case over the next few months," she said. "I'm no fan of Trump. That said, I have a huge problem with contorting the law or using prosecutorial authority in the name of 'saving democracy,' which has been the Democrats' message for the past four years." "I still consider myself a liberal," she added. "I just don't think Biden Democrats reflect what that used to mean."
A Reuters-Ipsos poll shows Americans oppose a prison sentence 51 percent to 46 percent. A CBS News-YouGov poll shows Americans oppose it 45 to 38 percent. A significant number of Americans who approve of the Manhattan trial feel this way. For instance, in the CBS poll, Americans said that the trial was fair, 56 to 44 percent, and that the verdict was correct, 57-43. So Americans believe in the trial and outcome by double digits, but they still lean against prison time.

This is blatant lawlessness. They have no justification for the refusal to release the people's evidence.
The Justice Department has refused to release the audio of President Biden's interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, citing concerns about potential deepfakes. Critics argue the move is to protect Biden from embarrassment. Key Details: The DOJ claims releasing the audio could lead to malicious manipulation using deepfake technology. Biden has exercised executive privilege to keep the recording from the public. The transcript of the interview revealed several embarrassing moments for Biden, who was described as forgetful and confused. Diving Deeper: In a controversial decision, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has refused to release the audio recording of President Joe Biden's interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, citing the potential threat of deepfakes. The refusal was outlined in a Friday court filing as part of an ongoing legal challenge against Biden's efforts to exercise executive privilege over the recording. The DOJ argued that the release of the audio would significantly increase the risk of malicious manipulation. Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer stated, "The passage of time and advancements in audio, artificial intelligence, and 'deep fake' technologies only amplify concerns about malicious manipulation of audio files. If the audio recording is released here, it is easy to foresee that it could be improperly altered, and that the altered file could be passed off as an authentic recording and widely distributed." ... The refusal to release the audio has fueled speculation among Republicans that the transcript may have been edited to prevent further embarrassment for Biden. Some suggest that the full audio could reveal discrepancies between what was said and what was documented. Despite these allegations, Weinsheimer maintained that only minor adjustments were made to the transcript, such as removing repeated and filler words. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., criticized Biden's decision to exert executive privilege over the recording, stating, "President Biden is apparently afraid for the citizens of this country and everyone to hear those tapes. They obviously confirm what the special counsel has found and would likely cause, I suppose, in his estimation, such alarm with the American people that the president is using all of his power to suppress their release."In fact, we already know that the White House scrubbed the written transcript of repeated words and inaudible mumblings before releasing that (fraudulent) document.
The Biden Justice Department has admitted in federal court that the transcript of President Joe Biden's testimony to Special Counsel Robert Hur was edited, with filler words and repeated phrases omitted. The department has also made assertions of executive privilege and privacy to keep the audio of the testimony hidden. Key Details: The Justice Department has admitted that the transcript of President Biden's testimony to Special Counsel Robert Hur is not accurate and has been edited. The department has made assertions of executive privilege and privacy to keep the audio of the testimony hidden, citing potential misuse of AI technology to alter Biden's words. Judicial Watch, a conservative educational foundation, has initiated a new FOIA request on this issue, calling it Biden's "Nixonian tape scandal." Diving Deeper: According to a Judicial Watch report, The Justice Department's filing, submitted late on Friday, states that the transcript of the testimony is accurate, except for minor instances such as the omission of filler words or repeated phrases. The department asserts that these minor differences do not include any substantive exchanges and that there is no material omission of words between the audio recording and transcripts. However, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton has criticized the department's stance, stating, "Judicial Watch's FOIA lawsuit forced the Biden team to admit what everyone suspected -- that the transcript is not accurate and was changed in a way to help Biden." He further added, "There is nothing ordinary about this, and the transcript inaccuracy issues seem to help Biden's political campaign needs."The entire argument that We Must Not Release Relevant Testimony for Fear It Will Be Used to Make a "Deep Fake" Recording is just a reskinned version of the complaint that "this will be used to embarrass the president." Yes, anything embarrassing for the president can and will be used to embarrass the president. The "threat of a deep fake" is, of course, not one of the justifications courts have previously recognized for the assertion of executive privilege. Neither is "embarrassment to the president" a justification. Executive privilege is permitted by the courts -- reluctantly -- only to protect the confidential discussions a president has with his aides. The idea claimed -- which is pretty bullshitty, if you ask me -- is that the president must be free to have "candid" discussions with his aides without fear that they will one day be made public record. But Hur was not Biden's aide; he was Biden's prosecutor. Biden was not having a "candid, confidential" discussion with him about what policies to pursue. He was answering questions in a criminal investigation. So executive privilege does not apply. No problem, make up an Urgent New Threat to justify protecting Biden from exposure. The Russians may use this tape to make a deep fake of Biden's voice!!! Oh noes! No one needs the tape to do a deep fake. They are quite able to do deep fakes without this particular tape, because deep fake technology learns from all of the recorded samples of someone's likeness and voice. There are 100,000 hours of tape on Joe Biden. It's a complete lie to claim that this particular tape is needed to make a deep fake voice. Here's proof:

Trump says he's prepared for house arrest, but he won't grovel for this corrupt judge.
Former President Donald Trump indicated that he would accept a harsh sentence after his conviction last week in a New York hush money trial that he has derided as a "scam" and refuses to employ a legal strategy in which he grovels for mercy. "I'm okay with it," Trump said when asked about the potential of house arrest or even jail during a "Fox & Friends Weekend" interview that aired on Sunday. "I saw one of my lawyers the other day on television saying, 'Oh, no, you don't want to do that to the president.' I said, don't, you know, beg for anything. It's just the way it is." Acknowledging it "could happen," Trump went on to say, "I don't know that the public would stand for it, you know." Trump also said, "I think it'd be tough for the public to take. You know, at a certain point, there's a breaking point."He also said, "My revenge is going to be success." I sure hope me means "My revenge is going to be success in getting revenge." The best revenge is getting revenge.
In his interview on Fox and Friends Weekend with Pete Hegseth, Will Cain and Rachel Campos-Duffy, former President Donald Trump conveyed strong sentiments regarding his recent conviction, which he vehemently dismissed as a political "scam." Utilizing direct quotes from the discussion, Trump expressed his perspective on the broader implications of his legal troubles, asserting, "It's a scam. And the Republican party is really, they've stuck. They stick together in this." He criticized the current administration's policies, highlighting detrimental effects on the constitution and national integrity. Trump's discussion extended beyond his legal woes to his plans for a political comeback, underlining a commitment to "success" as his form of revenge against what he perceives as corrupt practices by his opponents. This approach, he argues, aligns with the broader fight for American values and constitutional governance, resonating with his supporters amidst ongoing controversies.Trump seems to have an expedited Supreme Court appeal in mind.
The 'Sentencing' for not having done anything wrong will be, conveniently for the Fascists, 4 days before the Republican National Convention," Trump posted Sunday night on Truth Social. From the Epoch Times, via Hot Air, Derschowitz says Trump should request an expedited hearing from the NY Court of Appeals (their supreme court, confusingly enough), and when that is denied (as it will be denied), it will then be ripe to appeal to the federal Supreme Court itself.
"A Radical Left Soros backed D.A., who ran on a platform of 'I will get Trump,' reporting to an 'Acting' Local Judge, appointed by the Democrats, who is HIGHLY CONFLICTED, will make a decision which will determine the future of our Nation? The United States Supreme Court MUST DECIDE!"
"He should make an appeal to the New York Court of Appeals asking them to bypass the Appellate Division because he's not going to get justice in the Appellate Division," Mr. Dershowitz said, speculating that Appellate Division judges are elected and would be more likely to bow to pressure to reject the Trump team's appeal. The same people who went into full court press to get this travesty tried before the election are suddenly going to tell us that we have all the time in the world for the appeals process.
Advertisement "The Appellate Division or Manhattan judges that are elected and they don't want to have to face their families and say you were the judge who allowed Trump to become the next President of the United States. They don't want to be Dershowitz'ed," he said, referring to blowback he received after defending President Trump in his first impeachment trial in the Senate. ... "Go to the New York Court of Appeals, ask for an expedited appeal. In the meantime, prepare for an expedited appeal in the United States Supreme Court and say that this was a rush to try to get this case, a verdict of conviction before election, and the Supreme Court of the United States has an obligation to review this case before the election so that the American public knows whether or not Donald Trump is guilty or not guilty of these made up crimes," Mr. Dershowitz said.

He's protecting Muh Democracy.
While the Biden administration is attempting to look like it's getting tough on the border, behind the scenes it's operating a program of "mass amnesty" for migrants, The Post can reveal. Data show that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don't have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country. This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum -- their cases are "terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim" -- they are removed from the legal system and no longer required to check in with authorities. The move allows them to legally, indefinitely roam the US without fear of deportation, effectively letting them slip through the cracks. The number of migrant asylum cases being closed before going through the court system has skyrocketed since Biden took office. "This is just a massive amnesty under the guise of prosecutorial discretion," according to Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge who works for the Center for Immigration Studies. "You're basically allowing people who don't have a right to be in the United States to be here indefinitely," he added to The Post. "Please let everyone know what's really going on," an ICE officer told The Post. In 2020, during the Trump administration, 48,000 migrants were ordered removed from the US by immigration court judges. Fewer than 20,000 people were granted asylum, and 4,700 people had their cases closed or were otherwise allowed to remain in the country, according to data collected by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.Among the other statuses they can seek: a visa if they have an anchor-baby in the years they've been allowed to stay here.
In 2022, under Biden, a memo issued by ICE's principal legal adviser, Kerry Doyle, and seen by The Post instructed prosecutors at the agency to allow cases to be dismissed for migrants who aren't deemed national security threats. That year, 36,000 were ordered removed, 32,000 were awarded asylum, and 102,550 had their cases dismissed or otherwise taken off the books -- 10 times the number in 2014. In 2023, there were 149,000 cases in this latter category, and so far in financial year 2024 -- which ends Sept. 30 -- the numbers are certain to surpass that, with 114,000 cases closed already. Since Biden assumed office, 77% of asylum seekers have been allowed to remain in the country, according to TRAC. That equates to 499,000 of the 648,000 who applied for asylum in the US in that time. The current backlog of asylum cases stands at 3.5 million, and shaving more than 100,000 people a year off it makes the administration look better, sources told The Post. Once cases are closed, migrants are no longer in "removal proceedings" and subject to deportation -- the government's default position for all migrants admitted at the border. The migrants are under no obligation to leave the US, and once cases are dismissed, the person is no longer monitored by ICE and required to regularly check in with them, unlike those still pursuing asylum claims. "If the case gets dismissed, you're basically back to nothing," Washington-based immigration lawyer Hector Quiroga told The Post, clarifying that migrants with dismissed cases can't receive benefits or a work permit. Quioga said that for clients with "horrible" cases -- ones in which they are unlikely to ultimately prove they need asylum -- "that's better than having a deportation order." Once a migrant's case is terminated, the person can reapply for asylum or seek other forms of legal status in the US.
Meanwhile, the New Improved Pandemic 2.0 has just been debuted in Cuba, just in time for the election, and of course Biden will refuse to do as Trump did and invoke the section of the law that allows deportation of all illegals during an epidemic.
... In April, US authoriites in the southwest intercepted an average of 5,990 migrants per day, according to US Customs and Border Protection. That figure didn't even include the so-called "gotaways" who escape detection and arrest.
This epidemic is not getting the attention it deserves. According to reports from Cienfuegos and Santiago, the infection rate is high and uncontrollable. As one doctor puts it: "When one person in a neighborhood falls ill, the whole neighborhood does, and there is absolutely nothing in the clinics or pharmacies, not even dipyrone to reduce the fever." Vamos bien, si! Requetebien! Loosely translated from Marti Noticias
There are no adequate hygienic and sanitary conditions to combat the Oropouche fever virus (OROV) in Songo la Maya, in the province of Santiago de Cuba, the epicenter of the outbreak on the island, reported Dr. Roberto Serrano from that area. The accumulation of garbage dumps and sewage, as well as the lack of resources for fumigation, is a current concern for the residents of La Maya, given the presence of the mosquito Culex quinquefasciatus, which proliferates in any type of water, including sewage, explained Serrano. The doctor, who is still recovering from the symptoms of this virus, mentioned the extent of the outbreak in his locality: "There are countless febrile cases, patients with high fever, and above all, a severe headache, and pain, especially in the sacro-lumbar area and the muscular part of the back of the lower limbs, along with vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. It is quite a severe condition, significantly affecting people's health." "People are collapsing on the street because it is quite strong. I am telling you this because I went through it, I am going through it, as I have almost had the condition for a week, and today I was able to go to work, thank God," he added. In the case of Cuba, OROV is mainly transmitted through the bite of the mosquito Culex quinquefasciatus, which can also be a vector.

Service a gigantic corporation and receive a bribe payment called "royalties."
During the pandemic, the American people started to feel that Big Government was very cozy with Big Pharma. Now we know just how close they were. New data from the National Institutes of Health reveal the agency and its scientists collected $710 million in royalties during the pandemic, from late 2021 through 2023. These are payments made by private companies, like pharmaceuticals, to license medical innovations from government scientists.Of course they're not saying. Why should the nobles respond to the impertinent questions of the peasant scum? The writer points out the recent scandal involving a Fauci henchmen deliberately misspelling words in order to avoid FOIA requests for communications with those keywords. David Morens also apparently delivered physical letters by courier to avoid having an searchable paper trail.
Almost all that cash -- $690 million -- went to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the subagency led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, and 260 of its scientists. Information about this vast private royalty complex is tightly held by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). My organization, OpenTheBooks.com, was forced to sue to uncover the royalties paid from September 2009 to October 2021, which amounted to $325 million over 56,000 transactions. We had to sue a second time, with Judicial Watch as our counsel, to pry open this new release. Payments skyrocketed during the pandemic era: Those years saw more than double the amount of cash flow to NIH from the private sector, compared to the prior 12 combined. All told, it's $1.036 billion. It's unclear if any of the COVID vaccine royalties from Pfizer and Moderna, the latter of which settled with NIH by agreeing to pay $400 million, is even included in these new numbers. NIH isn't saying.
The NIH continues hiding the $710 million in payments from lawmakers and taxpayers with a right to know who's getting paid off by Big Pharma:
Fauci won't be able to misspell words to evade scrutiny or have folks physically courier messages -- just two of the FOIA-avoiding actions described by Dr. David Morens, a key Fauci deputy.
I covered this earlier, but it bears underlining: Transcripts of Anthony "I Am Science" Fauci's closed-door testimony were released on Friday. Science Itself admitted that it was making up all of its "scientific" Magic Spells against covid. At the time, of course, he claimed these Amulets and Talismans were all so completely supported by The Science (TM) that anyone questioning them was complicit in murder and must be denounced and censored.
Characteristically, NIH is still redacting pieces of the data that would help us more easily connect therapeutics with their government-paid inventors. For example, they refuse to show us the amount of royalties paid to each individual scientist. So we still can't entirely follow the money.
So much to be outraged about, so little time. You would have thought that we're still close enough on the historical timeline to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially here in the United States, that the news from Friday would have resulted in atomic-level public reaction. Due to the other outrage, the banana republic court verdict in lower Manhattan that was micromanaged and orchestrated by Joe Biden donor and trial judge Juan Merchan, the news about the pandemic culpability of Dr. Anthony Fauci barely registered a blip. The top medical advisor in the White House in 2019-2023 at the height of the COVID outbreak, Dr. Anthony Fauci at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, testified in January in a closed-door session of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. The transcript of that hearing was released last Friday. In short, the response to the pandemic - the masks, the social distancing, the separation of families, the 6-foot spacing signs graffitied all across the country, the plexiglass walls erected to wall people off from each other, the closed schools, all of it was bovine excrement. All of it. There wasn't a lick of science behind any of the policy. It was Anthony Fauci and his team making it up as they went along, and Fauci relishing the power trip in which he found himself. In the National Review's write-up of the release of the transcript, here is Dr. Fauci just nonchalantly admitting that masking, in this case, child masking that caused so much damage to an entire generation of child development, wasn't based in any scientific data. Fauci said this.Of the "six foot distancing" rule, Fauci said, "It [the six-foot rule] just sort of appeared, that six feet is going to be the distance." He then claimed this was an "empiric decision that wasn't based on science." But that's a lie, too. "Empiric" -- a shortened form of "empirical" -- means "based on observation."During the second day of his testimony, Fauci made a similar concession about the lack of scientific evidence to support masking children to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. "Do you recall reviewing any studies or data supporting masking for children?" a staffer asked Fauci. "You know, I might have, Mitch, but I don't recall specifically that I did. I might have," Fauci replied.
Based on experience and observation rather than on systematic logic. Experienced physicians often use empirical reasoning to make diagnoses, based on having seen many cases over the years. Less-experienced physicians are more likely to use diagnostic guides and manuals. There was never any observation supporting this "rule." Nor any "experience" with it -- it had not been tried before. As Fauci says, "it just sort of appeared." Meaning, he just chose it on a whim, and then said I Am Science as he compelled people to follow his "science." Former NIH director Francis Collins also admitted in closed-door testimony that he was aware of "no evidence" supporting this rule.

Now this is some pride I can get behind.
The Old State Saloon's decision to celebrate 'Heterosexual Awesomeness Month' in June, a month traditionally recognized as Pride Month, has drawn a mixed response. The bar's Facebook post announcing the event, said in part. "June will be OSS's inaugural Heterosexual Awesomeness Month! Come join us all month to celebrate heterosexuals, for without them, none of us would be here! Each Monday will be Hetero Male Monday and any heterosexual male dressed like a heterosexual male will receive a free beer. Each Wednesday is Heterosexual couples day and each heterosexual couple will receive 15% off their bill." In response to criticism, the bar clarified in a follow-up post that it welcomes all patrons, and that it will not be swayed by the negative reactions. The bar also stated that it does not plan to host special nights for specific groups, including for Pride Month, arguing that it should be able to celebrate heterosexuality without facing backlash.

Correction: I originally wrote that the executive order would allow 4,000 illegals per week. It's 4,000 per day, or 28,000 per week. Thanks to Mark1971 for correcting my error.
To recap: Months ago, Biden claimed he needed congressional authority for this measure. What he wanted was amnesty in exchange for this "limit" -- really a guarantee -- of how many illegals would be allowed to enter the US per week. Only if the number of illegals entering per week exceeds the 4,000 per day "limit" for a week is he then authorizing himself to begin deporting the excess number. The 28,000 per week are guaranteed free entry into the US. If they stay at this "acceptable level," they'll be brought into the US and signed up for an amnesty hearing in 5-8 years.Rather than being a "border enforcement" provision offered in exchange for amnesty, this is actually a trade of amnesty for even more amnesty And again, Biden lied and claimed he couldn't even do this without Congress giving him even more amnesty. With Congress not taking Biden up on his "offer," he is now readying an executive order to guarantee the "right" of 28,000 illegals to enter the US (and be relocated to a county near you) per week.
President Joe Biden plans to sign an executive order as early as Tuesday that "guarantees" up to 4,000 daily border crossings in a desperate bid to supposedly address the escalating border crisis. This move comes after months of dithering and mounting political pressure as the November elections approach. Using Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Biden's administration aims to drastically limit migrants' ability to seek asylum at the southern border once encounters exceed the new threshold. The White House has discussed using an average of 4,000 daily border crossings over a week as the metric for implementing the restrictions. This eleventh-hour decision comes after a series of failures and missteps. Despite repeated warnings and soaring numbers of illegal crossings, Biden has consistently failed to implement effective border security measures. His administration supported a bipartisan border security bill tied to Ukraine aid, which was ultimately defeated. In recent weeks, Biden has resorted to piecemeal actions, attempting to speed up the asylum process and deter migration, but these efforts have fallen short.A illegal alien Venezuelan shot two cops last night. The cops report themselves "content" to have been Culturally Enriched.
Two New York City police officers were shot early Monday while chasing a suspect, who authorities say is an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, while investigating a pattern of robberies involving suspects on scooters. The shooting happened just before 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of 89th Street and 23rd Avenue in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens. The two officers, part of the 115th Precinct's public safety unit, attempted to pull over a male suspect driving a scooter the wrong way when the suspect began to flee on foot. During the foot chase, the suspect shot at the two officers, who returned fire. One officer was shot in the stomach area of his bullet-proof vest, while the other officer was shot in the leg. Both officers were rushed to hospitals in stable condition and are expected to recover.Oh terrific, they're Enriching us with the Cultural Tradition of armed scooter robberies that we've seen so much in videos from Central and South Americans. In further news of Cultural Enrichment, and Pakistani cab driver attempted to run down children at a Jewish school while screaming Mostly Peaceful Hitlerian slogans.
A maniac tried to mow down Orthodox students and a rabbi outside a Brooklyn Jewish school Wednesday while allegedly yelling "I'm gonna kill all the Jews" in a shocking antisemitic attack, sources told The Post. Video footage supplied by the Flatbush Shomrim Safety Patrol shows the crazed driver revving his engine and mounting the curb as he swerved toward Orthodox Jews milling around a yeshiva in Canarsie at about 11:25 a.m. Police and sources identified the alleged attacker as 58-year-old Asghar Ali, a Pakistani immigrant livery cab driver with a history of mental illness. The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the case, and detectives were interviewing the driver Wednesday night."We may never know the motive," they promised their Regime overlords.

The Democrats understand nothing except the raw exercise of power. Therefore, Republican attorneys general and district attorneys should bring criminal charges against Democratic officeholders wherever possible. No Democratic officeholder should be allowed to retire, in any jurisdiction with Republican law enforcement, without facing criminal charges. This is especially noteworthy to me, because Mr. Hinderaker was a bellwether in my eyes back in 2016 as far as broader acceptance of Trump’s candidacy by traditional conservatives. I was a despondent, Cruz-backing, never-Trumper who figured that Hillary Clinton’s presidency had been secured when Trump won the GOP nomination. Hinderaker was the first mainstream conservative I read who stated that of course he would be voting for Trump, and that Trump could win. A preference cascade followed, and soon the party had fully rallied around Trump, with the exception of false-flag “conservatives” typified by the writers at The Dispatch/Bulwark/National Review, who thereafter gave “NeverTrump” its slimy, opportunistic reputation. Be it Sean Davis, or Clay Travis, or so many other prominent conservative voices, I am seeing a growing groundswell demanding that red state District Attorneys start arresting and prosecuting Democrats like Mr. Hinderaker is advocating. Others are advocating for a financial retreat from New York. With justice thoroughly corrupted there, no red state investment dollars should be housed or managed in New York. Real estate investors would be wise to avoid New York, hedge funds should move out of that state, and tourists would be wise to stay away from the Big Apple. There are many thoughtful pieces on what the rest of us can do to fight back. Jeffrey Carter’s “Points and Figures” substack is a must-read for me, and he offers some excellent commentary and suggestions in a post titled, “Abe Lincoln Convicted in Confederacy of Freeing Slaves; In Other News Trump Convicted”. Here are a few excerpts.

Personal health update: Unfortunately, the pathology report on the tumor that was removed has come back and it has been confirmed as a grade 4 glioblastoma. Essentially, it means that I do indeed have brain cancer. So the next steps are chemo and radiation in the hopes of staving off a recurrence, which is a real possibility and perhaps prolonging whatever time I have left and maintaining the best possible quality of life. In all likelihood, I believe this means that I cannot continue blogging here as before. I cannot even begin to repay your prayers, kindness and support during these past months.

- In September 2010 President Barack Obama set the nation on a course to abandon U.S. sovereignty and open U.S. borders with Presidential Policy Directive 6, U.S. Global Development Policy (PPD-6). Presented as a complement to his National Security Strategy, PPD-6 declared development essential to national security objectives and elevated Development to a third pillar in U.S. security along with Defense and Diplomacy.
