"American Stasi:" DHS Surveillance Teams Followed Around Veteran and Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Because Her Statements Criticizing the Regime Make Her a Potential Terrorist

American Stasi: Tulsi Gabbard Confirms "Quiet Skies" Nightmare

Placed on a terror watch list, the former Hawaii congresswoman and her husband were tailed by Air Marshals and bomb dogs. "Unconstitutional on every level," she says. "And I'm not the only one."

Tuesday night, while self-styled Democratic nominee Kamala Harris pledged to defend "freedom, compassion, and the rule of law" to cheers in Philadelphia, Hawaii's Tulsi Gabbard described being tracked by teams of government agents in a surveillance regime more reminiscent of East Germany than a free country. Whistleblowing Air Marshals told Uncover DC Gabbard was singled out as a terror threat under the so-called "Quiet Skies" program, and the former presidential candidate says she noticed.

"The whistleblowers' account matches my experience," says Gabbard. "Everything lines up to the day."

This story began two weeks ago, when the former Hawaii congresswoman returned home after a short trip abroad. In airport after airport, she and her husband Abraham Williams encountered obstacles. First on a flight from Rome to Dallas, then a connecting flight to Austin, and later on different flights for both to cities like Nashville, Orlando, and Atlanta, their boarding passes were marked with the "SSSS" designation, which stands for "Secondary Security Screening Selection." The "Quad-S" marker is often a sign the traveler has been put on a threat list, and Gabbard and Williams were forced into extensive "random" searches lasting as long as 45 minutes.

"It happened every time I boarded," says Gabbard. The Iraq war veteran and current Army reservist tends to pack light, but no matter.

"I've got a couple of blazers in there, and they're squeezing every inch of the entire collar, every inch of the sleeves, every inch of the edging of the blazers," she says. "They're squeezing or padding down underwear, bras, workout clothes, every inch of every piece of clothing." Agents unzipped the lining inside the roller board of her suitcase, patting down every inch inside the liner. Gabbard was asked to take every piece of electronics out and turn each on, including her military phone and computer.

That was the other strange thing. "I use my military ID to get through security sometimes," says Gabbard, who among other things traveled to her reservist base in Oklahoma during this period. Once, she was unable to get through security with military ID. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent saw the "SSSS" marker. "The TSA agent said, 'Why are you Quad-S? You're in the military,'" explains Gabbard. "And I said, 'That's exactly what I'm wondering.'

Gabbard goes on: "Then I said, 'The only thing I can think of is, I work in politics.' And he said, oh."

Trump supporters are now marked "Quad-S" for being terrorists routinely, the whistleblower told her:

The agent told her he'd encountered supporters of a certain former president who'd had no issues traveling before, but were now "marked quad-S every time they traveled." Gabbard shrugged and slogged through, still encountering extra security. At one flight, she says, there were "at least six TSA agents doing additional screening," along with canine support. "There were dogs in Dallas when we got there, dogs at a couple of the gates."

She called a colleague, who told her: these things happen, don't worry. "So I thought, 'Maybe I'm just being paranoid,'" Gabbard says. Then she saw this past Sunday's report in Uncover DC, a site edited by the well-known Twitter writer Tracy Beanz. Uncover interviewed Sonya LaBosco, the Executive Director of the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC), an advocacy association for Federal Air Marshals. Disclosing Gabbard had been placed on a domestic terror watch list, the former Marshal LaBosco told a disturbing story:

According to LaBosco... Gabbard is unaware she has two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshals on every flight she boards.

Uncover DC said Gabbard was initially placed on the list on July 23rd, and that trios of Air Marshals first began following her on flights on July 25th. As Racket would learn, surveillance was conducted on at least eight flights, with different three-Marshal teams for each flight, part of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) "Quiet Skies" regimen that can literally surround people with human watchers. There are "potentially 15 or more TSA uniformed and plain clothes" at a gate for such assignments, LaBosco told Racket. The story about Gabbard was surfaced by two TSA whistleblowers, including one detailed to follow her. When Gabbard read this, she felt a shock of recognition.

"When I saw that, I thought, 'Wow, okay. So everything I was experiencing was exactly what I feared was going on,'" she says.

Though clearly outraged, Gabbard stresses the important part of her story isn't any inconvenience or insult she's gone through.

"This is not a woe-is-me situation," she explains. Instead, "it's bringing to the forefront... how brazen the political retaliation and abuse of power continues to be under the Biden-Harris administration."

This isn't just about using government resources to harass the Regime's political enemies -- it's also about diverting those resources away from their intended purpose, monitoring suspected terrorists.

Quiet Skies eats up an astonishing amount of resources: an Inspector General's report about the program in 2019 "identified $394 million in funds that could be put to better use," meaning nearly half the Air Marshals' budget was being wasted. LaBosco says this is no surprise. "Think about the overtime, the vouchers, the overnight travel, the per diems. Think of all the wasted resources that we so desperately need right now... We're not going to find a terrorist following Tulsi Gabbard. We're not even looking for the bad guys anymore."

As I'll note later, this is all part of Obama's "Whole of Society" effort to "Combat Violent Extremism" by shifting law enforcement and intelligence resources away from hunting his pals in the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and Iran and directing them to harass and surveil normal patriotic US citizens who don't believe in his vicious Marxist cause.

Among the claims Rogan was shown making, supposedly about Kamala Harris, was that she "served overseas for eight years" and was "a medic."

Obviously Joe Rogan was speaking there about Noted Terrorist Threat Tulsi Gabbard, not Kamala Harris. But MSNBC cut together the clear disinformation and presented it on their Twitter feed as proof that disaffected liberal Joe Rogan was now voting for Harris, and his millions and millions of fans should get on board.

THE MORNING RANT: Might Our Overseas Military Adventurism & Proxy Wars Someday Result in a Foreign Superpower’s Troops on Our Own Border?

Would America’s global interventionists be OK with the Russian Navy docking in Tijuana, or with Chinese ships patrolling the Gulf of Mexico from a naval base in Matamoros?

That prospect horrifies me, but it would be a natural evolution of the behavior of global super-powers if the US chooses to keep fighting proxy wars against those countries and to station our troops directly on their far-away borders.

I shouldn’t have to throw this disclaimer out, but I will. I loathe Vladimir Putin. I loathe him for his role as a hostile KGB agent during the Cold War, and for his role in funding anti-petroleum activists as a means of destabilizing the West, and for his decision to launch the war against Ukraine which has claimed so many lives in a stalemate over a small strip of land. But I also detest the western war profiteers who seek to keep the bloody Slavic turf battle going so that they can enrich themselves from that sausage grinder and from its corresponding political graft, much of which comes from US taxpayers. There are people and companies getting rich off that war, and they are wanting to keep it going until the last Ukrainian man has been killed in battle.

Unfortunately, headlines like this give Russia no avenue to withdraw or to offer up a peace plan:

“Ukraine is on an ‘irreversible’ path to NATO, but only after war with Russia ends” [AP – 7/10/2024]

The 32-members of NATO on Wednesday formally declared Ukraine on an “irreversible” path to membership in the Western military alliance, offering a bare but more binding assurance of protection once its war with Russia ends.

NATO on Wednesday also announced a long-term commitment of security assistance to Ukraine, and confirmed establishment of a new NATO center aimed at ensuring that Ukraine gets a more reliable flow of arms and training from members of the alliance.

In other words, the United States has announced - through NATO - that unless Russia conquers Ukraine, NATO troops will be stationed in Ukraine, on land that was once part of the Soviet Union, and directly on Russia’s border. NATO troops include American troops.

Why wouldn’t Russia then want to respond by employing its military capacity on our border? This is actually a discussion that is actively going on in Russia.

“Moscow Could Deploy ICBMs in Mexico, Russian TV Claims” [Newsweek – 6/10/2024]

"Russians on Kremlin State TV yesterday declared that Mexico was their military ally and they are wanting to place their missiles on Mexican territory so Mexico can attack the United States," Jake Broe a former U.S. Air Force nuclear and missile operations officer, posted on X next to a screen grab. "This is insane."

Mexico is already defying the US with an accommodating response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Mexico has condemned Putin's invasion of Ukraine but has adopted a policy of neutrality and refused to participate in sanctions against Moscow.

Mexico is in turmoil, with large swaths of the country controlled by criminal gangs that are hostile to the US. Even if the Mexican government could somehow defeat the cartels, Mexico is prone to electing anti-American leftists. As we saw with Venezuela, a modern Latin American country only has to vote communist once, then it will get communism and poverty in perpetuity.

What about China, which is seeking to spread its influence around the globe? Would a Chavista Mexico invite Chinese warships to dock in Baja, or to patrol our shores from a base on Mexico’s Gulf Coast?

Whatever political direction it takes, Mexico is likely to join the BRICS confederation at some point (which already includes Russia, China, and Iran, among others) and it is conceivable that BRICS may someday decide to provide for each others’ mutual defense as a counterweight to NATO. Why wouldn’t Mexico welcome Iranian BRICS troops to a base on the Rio Grande, just like Finland is welcoming NATO troops to its border with Russia?

China seems to already be wetting its toes in our hemisphere…

Good Morning Kids. So on the one hand you've got the Einsatz-groupies cheering on the purging of Jews from the Democrat Party, even of the Jews by birth only, who maybe find religion once a year with a bowl of matzo ball soup, like Josh Shapiro:

With questions lingering about his military service, people are starting to wonder why Kamala Harris picked Tim Walz as her running mate. One group that appears to be taking credit for the decision is the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). . . you see the DSA’s connection to the anti-Israel protests, it should come as no surprise that Walz attended an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and was pictured with the founder of Students for Justice in Palestine.

On the other hand, you have skeletor Carville going Cori Bush on Lumpy Fetterman:

Democratic strategist James Carville on Thursday warned Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman he will take action against him for allegedly undermining his state’s governor, Josh Shapiro, by lobbying against him to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate. . .

. . . “The other thing is, is one of the great backstabbers in modern Democratic politics is John Fetterman, but I’m going to wait ’til after the election to deal with him. But he’s somebody that must be dealt with, and must be dealt with in real terms,” Carville said.

Maybe Carville has some connections at the Secret Service. If he can just maneuver Fetterman and his goiter to Butler PA. It is his home state, after all.

Obviously, one aspect of this is the electoral side of things where some fear losing the must win commonwealth of PA while others seem to think that Trump has a shot at picking off some of the Democrat blue firewall states like perhaps Michigan or even Minnesota. Of course the now in your face Jew-hatred fueled by the massive influx of muslims into those particular states and the rest of the country over the past several decades, is driving this rift. On top of it is the multi-decade long march through the institutions that has eroded societal cohesion, culture and the moral fiber of the nation, plus the will to power of the party that can see it gaining the ultimate prize: absolute power, forever.

Standing in the way, is not merely Donald Trump: it's you and me and those like us who want to make America not great again, but AMERICA AGAIN. More scary for the Democrats are those who in their gut, despite all the propaganda and brainwashing know that what they are living through is wrong. That is the key to putting on the brakes.

If not, we're dangerously close to being imprisoned or worse for speaking out, as we have already experienced over here, with the J-6 political prisoners still rotting away in the Garland Archipelago and those who protest peacefully at abortion abbatoirs having their lives ruined.

Curry, a devout Christian and pro-life advocate, was targeted by the Biden administration after he sat and stood in front of the doors of the Northland Family Planning Clinic in Sterling Heights, Michigan. In an interview with The Daily Wire on Wednesday, he said that he couldn’t imagine getting a prison sentence. 

Look what's happening in Britain for those protesting the Islamization of Old Blighty in the wake of the stabbing attacks on children, on top of the decades of Muslim male rape gangs exposed by Tommy Robinson and others. This madness is coming here, and via the erased borders is already here with murders, rapes and crime committed by unvetted illegal alien foreigners. And you best not say boo in protest. Lest you be targeted for termination. Like in Britain.

And AWOL TIm Walz threw gasoline on the fires by doing nothing to stop it at the source, Minneapolis, while Kamala was funding the bailing out of the urban terrorists at the heart of the destruction.

Add Islam to the mix of racial grievance politics/brainwashing, and we are in for some interesting times!

The existing Arm Cortex M0+ cores have been replaced by two new dual-mode cores, that you can select to run either Arm code as Cortex-M33 cores, or RISC-V code as Hazard3 cores. Either way the clock speed has been bumped up slightly from 133MHz to 150Mhz.
  
  The new model also adds floating point support, something the entry-level M0+ core lacked, and also DSP extensions.
  
  The board costs $5 and the new chip it uses, the RP2350, starts at $0.80 in quantity.
  
  If you want just the chip it is available with 2MB of stacked QSPI flash - so you don't need a second chip for that - and as either a 60-pin chip with 30 available I/O pins or an 80-pin chip with 48 I/Os.
  
  It still has the fancy PIO controller - the feature that let the Pi Pico output HDMI video without any video hardware - and that has been upgraded from 8 state machines to 12. So in theory you could run three monitors off this version.

Ever wonder how -- and why -- Venice was built in the water? Apparently Venetians were fleeing the Huns and built a new settlement on marshy islands. They drove big timbers into the soft earth (which was barely cohesive enough to support a human's weight), which compressed and stabilized the ground, then leveled the timbers and covered them with planks.

I remember they showed the underwater timbers holding Venice up in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I thought, "That's stupid, that can't be true," even though, at the same time, I thought it must be true, because a movie wouldn't get something like that wrong. (I know they're dishonest and professional fantasists, but no one likes to be mocked for gross stupidity -- it's the sort of unbelievable thing that must be true, if you know what I mean.)

Venice really is just built on big wooden poles hammered into the ground.

I still think it's dumb. But then again, I don't have to worry about an invasion of hostile savages. Right?

Right?

(Update: Actually, it wasn't quite true. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, or LGX as all fans know it, showed free-standing poles in the water. But this video shows them driven into soft, boggy ground. Then again, some of the expansion of the city might have included pounding in polls into more-open water. I dunno.)

I'd say this disaster is the boss' fault, for building something so catastrophically unstable that some minor clumsy handling would bring the whole thing down, but you know these guys are getting fired anyway. (BTW, if this is just an unacknowleged clip from a movie, then I'll change my stance to say "it fits with the 'scary pranks' theme of the post.")

I don't understand anything about this.

So here's a prank. You know the family that is always dropping balloons filled with paint or milk on each other's heads? And to be honest, I mostly see the dad smashing the mom and kids with the paint balloons. I'm starting to think this is less of a playful family tradition and more of case of paternal bullying.

Whatever the case may be, the father, in all of his devious cruelty, pretends that his attempt to drop a balloon filled with milk on his wife failed. Oops! (Sound on!) But that was just a ruse to make the subsequent attack all the more devastating and psychologically scarring.

"Come out to the coast, we'll have a good time, we'll do some ice-climbing..."

Testing your dog to see if he'll eat your food if you fall asleep or die. Spoiler: Your dog is always hungry and food tastes good.

Anyone with a decent drone can now make Peter Jackson look like a chump. Or a pussy.

And so I think it was in that period, you were five times more likely to move from Minnesota to Florida than vice versa, and that's a result of people fleeing those failed policies."

Pivoting to the Secret Service: This is getting harder and harder to accept as "just a series of unfortunate errors."

Our State must be a leader in ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Disparities in Minnesota, including those based on race, geography, and economic status, keep our entire state from reaching its full potential. As long as inequities impact Minnesotans' ability to be successful, we have work to do. Our state will recognize its full potential when all Minnesotans are provided the opportunity to lead healthy, fulfilled lives.

Diversity, inclusion, and equity are therefore essential core values and top priorities to achieve One Minnesota.

For these reasons, I order that:

1. The One Minnesota Council on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity ("Council") beestablished.

2. The Governor will serve as the Chair of the Council.

3. The Chief Inclusion Officer will serve as the Chair of the Council on behalf of the Governor...

As you can see, Walz made this a whole of government approach, and unlike most politicians he has been following through. Racial preferences have expanded into every bit of government. Even when treating a disease like COVID, being "BIPOC" puts you at the front of the line in getting treatment.

Biden Says He Doesn't Think There'll Be a Peaceful Transfer of Power in January 2025; Archdemocrat Jamie Raskin Says He'll Call Out the Army to Crush MAGA Protesters After He Refuses to Certify Trump's Election

Is it possible that these two sentiments are strongly correlated?

Answer: No, that's conspiracy theorizing hate speech. Diversity is our strength. We must save our precious democracy by outlawing the opposition and jailing the protesters.

Biden predicts there will be political violence in January -- then corrects himself to say there'll be political violence, only if Trump loses.

Not if he wins, of course. The left surely won't riot then!

In his first interview since ending his re-election bid, President Biden expressed doubt Wednesday that there would be a peaceful transfer of power if former President Donald Trump loses the 2024 election.

"If Trump wins, no, I'm not confident at all," the 81-year-old president told "CBS News Sunday Morning" before quickly catching himself.

"I mean if Trump loses I'm not confident at all," Biden clarified in the interview taped Wednesday at the White House and that will air in its entirety on Sunday.

"He means what he says. We don't take him seriously," the president said of the Republican nominee. "All the stuff about if we lose, there'll be a bloodbath, it's a stolen -- look what they're trying to do now in the local election districts where people count the votes, putting people in place in states where they're going to count the votes."

Biden finds it objectionable that Trump wants observers watching Democrats count the votes.

Why did Biden first say there'll be violence if Trump wins, before "correcting" himself?

I think his first statement was the true one, the second the cover-up of a crime in the making.

Compare that with Jamie Raskin's promise to use extraconstitutional means to block Trump from taking office when elected. One might say he's promising an insurrection of sorts -- and he's already contemplating weaponizing the government against protesters who object to his planned literal destruction of democracy:

The Censorship Cartel "Global Alliance for Responsible Media," Created to Boycott Conservative Speech and Bankrupt Conservative Speakers, Announces It's Shutting Down Two Days After Elon Musk Files a Sherman Anti-Trust Lawsuit Against the Illegal Cartel

Let's not get too excited. The Global Disinformation Initiative was created by the US and UK governments to censor conservative speakers. When people began suing and Congressmen began asking questions about the government's role in a censorship racket, Steven Brill founded "NewsGard," an allegedly "private" organization which duplicated the same censorship that the GDI was imposing on speakers and advertisers, but this time allegedly with no government entanglement.

So I do not expect this plainly-illegal cartel to go away -- they will simply be less open about the business of this illegal cartel to restrain trade. They will shut down their official offices and just do this by backroom scheming and disappearing texts.

Still, this is something, for the moment.

An influential advertising industry group said it would shut down after being sued this week by X, Elon Musk's social media company, according to an email sent to its members and obtained by The New York Times.

The Global Alliance for Responsible Media, a nonprofit coalition of major advertisers led by the World Federation of Advertisers, told its members it would cease operations two days after Mr. Musk accused the group of orchestrating a boycott against X. The lawsuit claimed that the group, known as GARM, had violated antitrust laws by coordinating with brands to dissuade them from spending money on the social media platform.

While the World Federation of Advertisers denied that GARM's work had run afoul of the law, it said that the nonprofit did not have the financial resources to continue operating while it fights X in court.

Stephan Loerke, the chief executive of the World Federation of Advertisers, told members in an email that, while he was "confident that the outcome will demonstrate our full adherence to competition rules in all our activities," GARM would shut down its operations immediately. The World Federation of Advertisers, which is also named in the lawsuit, will remain operational.

At X, the news that GARM would shut down was celebrated. "No small group should be able to monopolize what gets monetized," Linda Yaccarino, X's chief executive, said in a post. "This is an important acknowledgment and a necessary step in the right direction. I am hopeful that it means ecosystem-wide reform is coming."

Two "Youths" (Wink) Plotted Mass-Slaughter of Teenage Girls at Taylor Swift Concert in Germany

As you know -- or maybe you don't; the media hasn't been eager to report on this -- the seventeen year old son of migrants from Rwanda just went on a stabbing spree at a Taylor-Swift-themed dance party in Southport, UK, killing three little girls -- aged 6, 7, and 9 -- and seriously wounding ten others.

The British courts and media withheld the identity of the killer. When people, quite understandably, guessed that this was a Muslim migrant -- because that is exactly whose identity is shielded in this kind of barbaric attack -- they then revealed he wasn't a migrant, but the son of migrants from Rwanda, so ha-ha you racist conspiracy-theorists.

A 17-year-old is scheduled to appear in court Thursday in connection with the mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in England on Monday that left three girls dead and 10 injured.

The teen boy has been charged with the murders of Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, as well as 10 counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article, Merseyside Police said in a news release.

Police officials said they are not naming the boy because he is under 18 years old.

"Whilst these charges are a significant milestone within this investigation, this remains very much a live investigation and we continue to work with our partners from Lancashire Police and Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW)," Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said in the release.

The violent attack occurred in the town of Southport, U.K. when police arrived to a "Taylor Swift event at a dance school" and "were shocked to find that multiple people, many of whom were children, had been subjected to a ferocious attack and had suffered serious injuries," Kennedy said Monday in a statement shared with USA TODAY.

Two children, ages 6 and 7, were killed and the death of another child, a 9-year-old girl, was announced on Tuesday. Ten other children suffered stab wounds in the attack, five of whom remained in critical condition as of Tuesday, along with two adults, according to British police.

"We believe that the adults who were injured were trying to protect the children at the time they were attacked," Kennedy said in a statement on Monday.

The mass stabbing has led to misinformation circulating online and public disturbances.

That couldn't possibly be because the Regime routinely hides the identities of killers when they are Muslims, migrants, or transgenders, could it?

And the "misinformation" here is... mistakenly thinking the "teen" is a migrant when, ha-ha racists, it's his parents who are the migrants.

Well, these attacks on young girls are apparently a trend now among "youths" of certain inclinations. Two "teens" have been arrested in Germany for planning a mass-casualty suicide attack this time not at a Taylor-Swift-themed party, but an actual Taylor Swift concert.

A 19-year-old Austrian admitted to authorities that planned to kill himself and others at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna.

The attack was to take place Thursday or Friday, officials said.

The teen was arrested by police Wednesday regarding the plot to target a Swift show at Ernst Happel Stadium.

The suspect planned an attack on fans, which involved "bladed weapons as well as the construction of a bomb," a press release provided by the Vienna Federal Ministry of the Interior on Thursday read.

A search of the suspect's home revealed "chemical substances, liquids, explosive and technical devices that could be used to manufacture explosives," Franz Ruf, director general for public security, said. Bomb-making instructions were also allegedly found.

The suspect, who was not named, confessed to the allegations against him as well as swore allegiance to ISIS, according to officials.

A 17-year-old was also arrested. That teen was employed by a facility management company that was to be on duty during Swift's concerts, officials said.

A 15-year-old was also detained and questioned by police. As of now, officials are not searching for any more suspects.

That 15-year-old is not being treated as a suspect -- but for some reason he knew a lot about this plot.

Now if you guess that these "youths" might just happen to be Muslims who have pledged their allegiance to ISIS and want to kill young Christian girls to appease their dark god, then you're a dirty far-right racist conspiracy-theorist.

Although, in this case, your racist far-right conspiracy theory would be 100% accurate.

But that's just dumb luck, of course.

The NYT begrudgingly reports, with John Sexton commenting:

The main suspect is a 19-year-old man who was radicalized online and swore an oath of allegiance to the Islamic State, Franz Ruf, the head of public safety in Austria, told a news conference on Thursday. Mr. Ruf said the suspect had confessed to the plans shortly after being arrested, giving the police a detailed insight into his intended acts, which included using explosives and weapons to kill as many concert attendees as possible.

Searching the man's home, where he lived with his parents, the police found explosives, timers, machetes and knives, Mr. Ruf said.

Apparently his goal was to kill as many infidels as possible before the two teens would inevitably be killed themselves. Unlike some of the plots we hear about, this one seems like it was pretty far along. The 19-year-old had quit his job to prepare for it and had a house full of weapons.

He was "clearly radicalized in the direction of the Islamic State and thinks it is right to kill infidels," Haijawi-Pirchner added.

The 19-year-old quit his job on July 25 and made the statement "that he still had big plans."

The foiled attack was planned for Thursday or Friday, according to Austria's interior minister, Gerhard Karner...

During a raid of the main suspect's home in Ternitz, south of Vienna, investigators found chemical substances and technical devices that indicated "concrete preparatory acts," said Franz Ruf, director general for public security at the Ministry of the Interior.

This reminds Sexton of the now-memoryholed attack on the Arianna Grande concert:

So one guy on the inside and one who planned to drive a car full of explosives into the venue. The plan has some similarities to the attack on Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert in 2017. That attack killed 22 people when when another Islamic extremist, Salman Abedi, detonated a backpack full of explosives inside the foyer of the arena as the concert was ending. Islamic Terrorists have also carried out attacks on concert halls in Paris (2015) and Moscow (earlier this year).

Flashback: Tim Walz Signed a Bill Which Included Pedophilia as Part of the List of Protected Sexual Orientations

To be more precise: The old law defined sexual orientation by saying it explicitly did not include pedophilia.

The left didn't like this exclusion -- so they rewrote the law to remove the exclusion of pedophilia from the protected status of privileged sexual orientations.

And "America's Dad" -- according to the largely-fatherless left -- was proud to sign it.

Walz launched his first congressional campaign as 'a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom'

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz has described himself as "a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom," the official name of the U.S. government's war in Afghanistan following the Sept. 11 attacks.

But Walz never deployed to the Middle East. And, when an Iraq war veteran confronted Walz's aides with evidence of what he called "stolen valor," his aides didn't do much to address his concerns.

As a first-time congressional candidate in 2006, Walz's campaign announcement described him as "a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom," an archived version of the press release shows. Two years earlier, in 2004, Walz organized a protest against then-President George W. Bush in Mankato, Minn. A photo of the rally shows Walz carrying a sign reading "Enduring Freedom Veterans for Kerry."

Such a title historically applies to someone who served on the ground in Afghanistan during the Global War on Terrorism. Walz, a 24-year veteran of the Army National Guard, spent time in Norway in support of NATO forces and in Italy working in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He had never seen combat, he told Minnesota Public Radio in 2018.

Walz's claims spurred Iraq war veteran David Thul, a sergeant in the Minnesota National Guard, to approach Walz's aides at the Democrat's Mankato office in 2009. Thul filmed the encounter, in which a staffer told Thul she was "not aware" of Walz serving in Afghanistan. Thul went on to present the 2004 photo of Walz, as well as Walz's website, to another aide, who acknowledged that constituents could get the false impression that Walz served in Afghanistan.

"Operation Enduring Freedom is limited to Afghanistan and the airspace directly above," Thul told the aide. "Congressman Walz is clearly claiming ... to be an Enduring Freedom veteran. Nobody disputes the fact that he is not an Afghanistan or Enduring Freedom veteran. So this represents a fairly serious issue." Asked whether he understood how constituents could falsely "assume that means [Walz] served in Afghanistan," the aide responded, "Perhaps, I guess."

The aide did not dispute that Walz was pictured in the 2004 photograph, and, indeed, a 2006 Atlantic article describes the spectacle of the future governor protesting the Bush visit with a group of high school students. The aide told Thul he would follow up with him. A source familiar with the situation said neither Walz nor his staffers followed through with that pledge.

Walz, who has called himself a "citizen soldier," has been accused before of embellishing his military service. Two Minnesota National Guardsmen said in 2022 that Walz falsely claimed he reached the rank of command sergeant major. But Walz did not fulfill the duties required to maintain that rank before he quit the service in 2005.

And Walz, in a video posted this week by the Harris campaign, called for a ban on the kind of guns "that I carried in war," the Washington Free Beacon reported.

The Tim Walz Stolen Valor story goes back to the very beginning of his political career. From the onset of his foray into national politics, Walz sold himself to the public and the media as a combat veteran of the Global War on Terror, masking the reality that he quit the military to run for office and avoid being deployed to Iraq.

Just months after leaving his battalion to go to Iraq without him, he announced a run for Congress, and the dissembling about his serivce record began immediately.

Instead of being honest about his early departure from the military, Walz told the media a much more heroic tale, one that was entirely ficticious.

Bloomberg's Joshua Green, then employed at The Atlantic, was the first major reporter to profile Walz. In a piece discussing the then-congressional candidate, Green writes that in 2004, Walz left his hometown in Minnesota "to serve overseas in Operation Enduring Freedom."

It's unclear if this is Green, a veteran reporter, omitting major facts, or if Walz is selling Green on a particular narrative. Nonetheless, the assertion is incredibly misleading, as it leaves the reader under the impression that Walz served as boots on the ground in the Global War on Terror, when in reality, he merely deployed to Italy in 2003 for a six month stint.

It gets much worse.

Yes, that first claim is misleading though not factually false: He did serve "overseas" -- in Italy -- in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

But here's where Walz completely removes the fig-leaf from the lie:

Green discusses a 2004 visit from former President George W. Bush to Gov. Walz's hometown, in which a protesting Walz (who was still serving in the military) supposedly demanded to speak to the then commander in chief.

"Walz thought for a moment and asked the Bush staffers if they really wanted to arrest a command sergeant major who'd just returned from fighting the war on terrorism," Green writes.

While the first instance can be written off as an issue of unclear reportage, the second example cannot be explained away. Walz was not just serving in a support role for the war effort (from Italy), he had been "fighting the war on terrorism."

According to the article, Walz was picked out of relative obscurity by Democrat operatives due to his military service. These operatives went out and recruited "veterans from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq," Green writes.

To this day, Green remains under the false impression that Walz served and fought in the war. In a piece for Bloomberg on Tuesday, he wrote that Walz served "in Iraq as part of Operation Enduring Freedom."

In marketing Walz as a veteran upstart politician, he created a false construct that involved heroism in the war in terror, when in reality, Tim Walz never fought in a war or anywhere near a war.

Green has not yet reported whether he made this claim up himself to boost Democrat candidates or if Walz lied to him.

You know that these motherfuckers are liars because they never, and I mean never, take Democrats to task for lying to them.

Because they're on board with the lies themselves. Green doesn't view Walz as having deceived him; he views Walz as pushing an effective, useful lie on the public. And he's not embarrassed to have been hoodwinked or mis-used; he's proud to have done his part to advance propaganda helpful to The Great Patriotic Soviet Cause.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is threatening to prosecute a resident for “spread[ing]” what has been labeled as “misleading or false” election-related information, according to a “cease and desist” letter reported Tuesday. This comes just days after The Federalist revealed Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is urging residents to report their neighbors for so-called “election misinformation.”

The letter’s recipient, who had previously chosen to remain anonymous, revealed herself to The Federalist as Kerry Lynn Elieff, a resident of Ross Township near Kalamazoo. Elieff told The Federalist she had posted concerns on June 12 about a change in polling locations. . .Patrice Johnson, chair of the nonprofit Michigan Fair Elections, said she thinks Nessel’s prosecution threat could be the beginning of a larger censorship effort.

“This is trying to silence people before the election. It’s clearly trying to stifle civic involvement,” Johnson said. “It’s like the next generation of 1984, coming here.”

Wednesday in a preview clip of a CBS News interview set to air on “CBS Sunday Morning” President Joe Biden said that if former President Donald Trump loses the election in November there might not be a peaceful transfer of power.

Reporter Robert Costa asked, “Are you confident that there will be a peaceful transfer of power in January 2025?”

Biden said, “If Trump wins, no I’m not confident at all. I mean, if Trump loses, I’m not confident at all. He means what he says. We don’t take him seriously. He means all this stuff about if we lose, there’ll be a bloodbath.”

As we all know he has the intellectual agility of a sea sponge with Downs Syndrome, but does he not know that Trump is not in office? Or did he just let the cat out of the bg that if Trump beats the army of Dana Nessels out there in the swing states and wins, that he will be ousted in a bloody coup that can and would involve ordinary citizens?

  On multi-threaded benchmarks things are less rosy, with the new chip only being 5% faster in some tasks.
  
  That makes it look like the power has been cut a little too much.
  
  We'll soon see, because the 9900X should appear next week, with 50% more cores but a TDP 85% higher at 120W.
  
  So right now the 9700X is a fast chip that outruns Intel's 14600K at most tasks while using less than half the power, but not a remarkable chip.
