The Daily Mail says "Kamala Harris was 'humiliated' by Doug Emhoff affair bombshell and hoped to shift spotlight away from scandal with Tim Walz VP announcement" and that "Life at the vice president's residence has been frosty since affair story broke." Stay frosty, my friends.

The head of Algeria's Olympica and Sports Committee knows who is to blame for saying that the man Imane Khelif is a man. The "Zionist Lobby," of course!
(Zionist Lobby's) doctor testifies: Of course this man is male.
Oli London
@OliLondonTV Algeria blames 'ZIONISTS' for the backlash against Imane Khelif, who is biologically male, competing in women's boxing. The head of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee has said the 'Zionist Lobby' is responsible for backlash. "The Zionist lobby, they want to break the mind of Imane. But now Imane is very strong. They don't want that a Muslim girl or Arabic girl goes higher in the level of the rank of female boxing." Khelif is set to compete in the semi-finals tonight against Thai female boxer Janjaem Suwannapheng. Source: Jewish Chronicle
Dr. Filippatos unequivocally confirmed that neither Khelif nor Lin are biological females. He also criticized the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for relying on passports to determine gender, stating, "Medicine is knowledge, it is not opinion. One passport can give to us the opportunity to be men, and, tomorrow when I go back to Athens, I can go to my government and change my name from Ioannis to Ionnia. That means I am a woman tomorrow? Please. The nature and the biological world do not change." Dr. Filippatos' statements were backed by DNA tests conducted during the 2023 International Boxing Association (IBA) World Championships in New Delhi and a prior test in Turkey in May 2022. Both tests revealed that Khelif has male chromosomes (XY). Additionally, he emphasized that the women's category must be defined by those who have a female karyotype (XX). During that same press conference, it was also revealed that both Lin and Khelif were reported by other boxers and coaches, prompting the DNA tests. Despite this, the Algerian and Taiwanese Olympic Committees have refused to allow IBA to release the results of these tests. "If the athletes want to prove they were born women, they have to do it themselves. They didn't do that," Dr. Filippatos explained. Both Khelif and Yu-Ting have dominated at the Olympics, winning every single round against their competitors.
Megyn KellyThat quote had a lot of twitter abbreviations in it. I spelled them out to make it more readable. Matt Gaetz is subpoenaing records from DHS to establish that Kamala Harris was informally designated "border czar." From a letter leaked to Breitbart:
@megynkelly Tim Walz signed a bill that lets the State take away your kids if you don't agree to sterilize them and chop off their body parts in the name of "gender affirming care." So if your 14-yr-old is sad but thinks it's gender confusion and you object to castrating him, the state takes custody
After Harris appeared to become the Democrats' de facto presidential nominee, PolitiFact alleged Harris's designation as the "border czar" was "mostly false." In turn, Axios changed its tune in July by claiming Harris "never actually had" the title. It previously reported on April 14, 2021, that Harris was "appointed by Biden as border czar" to visit Mexico and Guatemala to address border crossings. To clarify the confusion, Gaetz wrote a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding he uncover all communication at the agency using the terms "czar," "border," "migration," or "immigration" when referring to Harris: (1) all communications between the Office of the Vice President and any employee (including detailees) of the Department of Homeland Security, between March 24, 2021 and March 24, 2022, using the term "czar," "border," "migration," or "immigration"; (2) any communications of the Department of Homeland Security (including detailees), between March 24, 2021 and March 24, 2022, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris or the Office of the Vice President as "czar" or "lead," or otherwise in any formal or informal chain-of-command related to border-policy issues; and (3) any internal Department of Homeland Security directives or guidance, from 2021 to the present, referring to the Vice President or the Office of the Vice President as having any formal or informal clearance, approval, or stakeholder input on departmental decisions. The home of former Iraq weapons inspector Scott Ritter is being searched by the FBI, for unknown reasons.
Agency spokeswoman Sarah Ruane confirmed that they were searching the home, but would not provide details on the investigation -- per standard policy. Ritter was the chief weapons inspector in Iraq. He was found guilty in 2011 of engaging in a sexually explicit web chat with a person in Pennsylvania who was pretending to a be a 15-year-old girl, according to Reuters. Ritter was actually corresponding with a detective for the Barrett Township Police Department.

Read the whole thing. Elon Musk says he's declaring "war" on GARM, and is suing them, alleging that they are an anti-competitive cartel banned by US anti-trust laws.
We have been discussing media rating systems being used to target advertisers and revenue sources for certain cites and companies. NewsGuard and the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) have been criticized as the most sophisticated components of a modern blacklisting system targeting conservative or dissenting voices. I recently had a series of exchanges with NewsGuard after a critical column. Now, the House Judiciary Committee under Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is moving forward in demanding documents and records from leading companies utilizing the GARM system, a company that I have previously criticized. It is a welcomed effort for anyone who is concerned over the use of these blacklisting systems to curtail free speech. However, time is of the essence. The demand to preserve evidence went to various companies, including Adidas, American Express, Bayer, BP, Carhartt, Chanel, CVS and General Motors. In my new book, I discuss the rating systems as a new and insidious form of blacklisting. Notably, Elon Musk has now filed a lawsuit against GARM and may be able to get more evidence out in discovery on the operations of this outfit. It is an effort to strangle the financial life out of sites by targeting their donors and advertisers. This is where the left has excelled beyond anything that has come before in speech crackdowns. Years ago, I wrote about the Biden administration supporting efforts like the Global Disinformation Index (GDI) to discourage advertisers from supporting certain sites. All of the 10 riskiest sites targeted by the index were popular with conservatives, libertarians and independents. That included Reason.org and a group of libertarian and conservative law professors who simply write about cases and legal controversies. GDI warned advertisers against "financially supporting disinformation online." At the same time, HuffPost, a far-left media outlet, was included among the 10 sites at lowest risk of spreading disinformation. Once GDI's work and bias was disclosed, government officials quickly disavowed the funding. It was a familiar pattern. Within a few years, we found that the work had been shifted instead to groups like the GARM, which is the same thing on steroids. It is the creation of a powerful and largely unknown group called the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), which has huge sway over the advertising industry and was quickly used by liberal activists to silence opposing views and sites by cutting off their revenue streams. Notably, Rob Rakowitz, head of GARM, pushed GDI and embraced its work. In an email to GARM members obtained by the committee last month, Rakowitz wrote that he wanted to "ensure you're working with an inclusion and exclusion list that is informed by trusted partners such as NewsGuard and GDI -- both partners to GARM and many of our members." GARM is being used by WFA to achieve what GDI failed to accomplish. The WFA site refers to Rakowitz as "a career change agent" who will "remove harmful content from ad-supported digital media.
Elon Musk's X has just filed a lawsuit against the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM). The suit accuses the group of violating anti-trust laws by creating an advertising cartel designed to restrict money going to any site or publication which refuses to meet GARM's definition of "brand safe." ... Musk encouraged other companies around the world to file similar lawsuits. The CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino released a video statement explaining the move. "No small group of people should be able to monopolize what gets monetized," she said. Yaccarino makes reference to a House Judiciary Committee report that was released last month titled "GARM'S HARM: HOW THE WORLD'S BIGGEST BRANDS SEEK TO CONTROL ONLINE SPEECH." That report suggested that GARM, a creation of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), may have violated the Sherman Act. The executive summary also included a series of examples.
Section 1 of the Sherman Act makes unreasonable restraints of trade illegal. Included in these illegal restraints are certain group boycotts and coordinated actions that harm consumers. Documents produced to the Committee suggest that GARM may have engaged in coordinated conduct that violates Section 1. GARM has undertaken various actions to eliminate the monetization, and in effect existence, of certain voices online. For example: Twitter and Elon Musk: According to one GARM member, GARM recommended that its members "stop[] all paid advertisement" on Twitter in response to Mr. Musk's acquisition of the company. GARM's internal documents show that GARM was asked by a member to "arrange a meeting and hear more about [GARM's] perspectives about the Twitter situation and a possible boycott from many companies." GARM also held "extensive debriefing and discussion around Elon Musks' [sic] takeover of Twitter," providing ample opportunity for the boycott to be organized. GARM bragged about "taking on Elon Musk" and "[s]ince then [Twitter was] 80% below revenue forecasts[.]" Spotify and The Joe Rogan Experience: At the urging of its members, GARM and its Steer Team threatened Spotify over alleged misinformation on Joe Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, because Mr. Rogan stated an opinion that young, healthy people need not receive the COVID-19 vaccine.21 GARM even admitted it was acting outside of the scope of its work on brand safety, explaining to one of its members that "[b]rand safety is somewhat separate on Spotify versus say Facebook Newsfeed because brands aren't being slotted into" the podcast. In other words, the companies could easily choose whether to advertise on or avoid Mr. Rogan's podcast and, therefore, GARM had no business interfering in Spotify's decision. GARM even admitted the antitrust implications of getting caught, when Mr. Rakowitz told one GARM member that he "can't publicly advise all clients to do X -- that gets us into hot water by way of anticompetitive and collusive behaviors." To get around this problem, Mr. Rakowitz offered to "help [brands] formulate a [point of view] 1:1." In doing so, even as Mr. Rakowitz mistook his trade association members with "clients," such a coordinated action implicates antitrust law.
Candidates, platforms, and news outlets with opposing political views: GARM and its members discussed a strategy of blocking certain news outlets like Fox News, The Daily Wire, and Breitbart News. One GARM Steer Team member candidly wrote that although he "hated their ideology and bulls**t," his company "couldn't really justify blocking them for misguided opinion[s]" so the company "watched them very carefully and it didn't take long for them to cross the line." Additionally, GARM pushes its members to use news rankings organizations, like the Global Disinformation Index (GDI) and NewsGuard, that disproportionately label right-of-center news outlets as so-called misinformation. GARM and its Steer Team even participated in efforts to label a social media advertisement paid for by President Donald Trump as "misinformation." When Facebook would not label the advertisement as misinformation, Mr. Rakowitz told a colleague that it was "[h]onestly reprehensible[.]" A GARM Steer Team member expressed concern about Mr. Musk exposing the truth regarding how Twitter was previously used to censor the Hunter Biden laptop and Biden family influence peddling story, describing Mr. Musk's position as an "overtly partisan take[.]"
I consider this business defamation. They are claiming that sites like this one are "hateful disinformation." That's a lie. This site mostly just quotes "real news" sources, and there is no "hate." What they're really doing is just censoring viewpoints they don't like, and falsely labeling them as "disinformation" or "hate." Companies wouldn't boycott sites if GARM reported the truth: That the sites dispute, for example, the idea that children should have their genitals lopped off or cut into exciting new shapes. Companies would shrug at that. So instead they engage in defamation, claiming that the sites "encourage violence against vulnerable minority groups."
I would like Congress to pass a law making it explicit that these censorship groups may be sued for business defamation, particularly when their claimed reasons for censorship are simply lies. And I would like that law to provide that litigants may prove defamation by showing that these organizations apply different standards to different sites, depending on whether they adhere to leftist/progressive POV or right-leaning view. The First Amendment does not, and never has, protected defamation from lawsuit. Every defamed person has the right to sue his defamers. I just want the right to sue made explicit and tailored for this particular situation. Meanwhile, Tim Walz says the government has every right to stamp out "misinformation" and "hate speech" because the First Amendment doesn't protect it. Note the difference we're talking about: Private parties have always been permitted to sue others based on defamation. That has never been protected by the First Amendment. But Walz says that the First Amendment's protections against government censorship do not apply to "misinformation" and "hate speech" -- which, of course, is what the left brands every right-leaning argument and belief.

They have a great, Spinal-Tap-Manager-Level euphemism for poor park attendance: a "moderation of consumer demand" for its services and "experiences."
Why is this inflationary problem affecting Disney in particular? Maybe because it's not all about inflation. Maybe it has to do with hiring men sporting thick black beards to play female Disney Princesses at their shops.
In Disney's seemingly never-ending game of corporate Whac-a-Mole, a new trouble spot has arisen: Americans -- battered by years of high inflation -- have less money to spend on amusement, imperiling growth at Disney theme parks.
In other words: we're laying people off, and also not greenlighting any new movies, except for sequels to money-making movies.
On Wednesday, Disney reported weaker-than-expected theme park results for the three months that ended on June 29. Revenue increased 2 percent from a year earlier, to $8.4 billion, while operating profit declined 3 percent, to $2.2 billion. Disney blamed a "moderation of consumer demand" that "exceeded our previous expectations," along with higher costs. Disney said softening demand "could impact the next few quarters." Disney added that it was "aggressively managing our cost base."
...The "profit" is largely due to Disney cancelling most of its awful, awful shows and movies, and mostly just coasting on already-paid-for "content." And Hulu has always been profitable. Disney now owns Hulu outright -- they have yet to pay for it, of course -- so the increases might also reflect Disney's sole ownership of the somewhat-successful streaming service. Speaking of Disney cancelling its awful Disney Minus shows: They had hired the maker of the insanely-racist Dear White People show -- which is nothing but minorities shaming white people for being born to an inferior race -- to make a new show about Lando Calrissian. They've now cancelled that piece of shit.
Mr. Iger has been trying to move Disney beyond a tumultuous period when activist investors sought to alter the company's direction. One activist, Nelson Peltz, mounted a proxy contest for board seats this year and harshly criticized Disney's streaming strategy, succession planning and lagging stock price. Disney fended off the attacks, but its share price has fallen 27 percent since early April. "If Disney doesn't manage to reverse this negative trend, the specter of an activist rebellion will rear its head again," Paul Verna, a media analyst at Emarketer, a research firm, said in an email last week. ... Disney also benefited from improved streaming results. Together, Disney's three services (Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+) generated $47 million in operating income, compared with a loss of $512 million a year earlier. It was the first time that Disney's direct-to-consumer division as a whole turned a profit. Disney previously said it would not achieve that goal until later this year.
Director Justin Simien (Dear White People) has confirmed that Lando, a series from the Star Wars franchise, has been cancelled while in development. Lando was set to focus on a young Lando Calrissian, a gambler and semi-retired smuggler from the Star Wars universe. In an interview to Collider, the director of the now-cancelled series Simien stated, "It [the series] was pretty developed. There was a bible. There was concept art. There were scripts. But it just wasn't meant to be." Regarding the cancellation of the project, he said, "There's so much that I experience that I get to keep forever and take into the next project. I can't obviously take the storyline or the IP or the characters, but there's so much more that I got, as a maker, and that's mine. Sorry, it's too late, you can't take that part back."Yeah I'm sure that stuff is really great. They always cancel shows with really great concepts and storylines. If they really liked the storyline, they could just pay you for that. But they didn't. Chris Gore, who I usually trust but not on this, claims that he's spoken to Disney people and they claim that Marvel Studios has purged most of its "activist producers."
Film Threat founder and acclaimed writer Chris Gore made the claims about Marvel during an appearance on The Critical Drinker's podcast on Friday. 'I do know people who work at Marvel -- they have cleaned house. They quietly, months ago, fired all the producers that could be labeled 'activist,'' said Gore. Gore explained that president of Marvel studios, Kevin Feige recognized that going woke didn't work for them, revealing that '[Feige] said he tried it, it didn't work.'All of the YouTube pop culture critics emphasize that even if it's true that the Woke Baboon Kevin Feige fired the wokies -- and I doubt that it is true; I think some Disney people are putting out a false, optimistic spin -- they still have their content pipeline stuffed fill with all the woke losers they've been greenlighting for the past five years. Note that Marvel would never publicly say they're cancelling the woke. And if you don't have the guts to say it, I don't think you could have the guts to do it. Marvel's doomed either way. The mistake Feige made was deciding to kill all of the actual known, popular characters when their actors wanted to move on, or wanted too many tens of millions of dollars to keep playing these characters. Instead of simply recasting Iron Man, Captain America, etc. and carrying on James Bond Style (or Batman style), Feige took the opportunity to just kill them and replace them with woke analogues, just like they'd done in the comic books -- where the initiative also failed, disastrously. But this low-talent idiot (many of the movies that were actually good were good because of Ike Perlmutter's involvement and common-sense judgment that fundamentally, superhero fare is a boys entertainment thing) believed his own hype and really thought that he could turn unpopular failed characters like Captain Marvel into superstars. Marvel has something like 10,000 characters. Now they're not nearly all superheroes -- every superhero has a rogues gallery of dozens of mostly-forgettable villains. And the list of characters include all of the normie civilians a superhero counts as his supporting cast. No one will be doing a standalone movie about Peter Parker's news delivery boy, for example. Although now that I say it aloud, Sony might just try to make Timmy the Newsboy into its own IP.... I mention the large number of Marvel characters to make this point: Of those 10,000 characters, how many characters can you name? If you're a comic book fan, you might be able to name 200-300, tops. If you're a normie, you can maybe name 30. The various characters you've seen in movies, even though you might not know their names. You could say "Oh the Jeff Bridges one" or "the Gwyneth Paltrow one." Stan Lee was asked a long time ago how he managed to create about 100 highly lucrative, popular characters. He answered something like, "Simple, create 10,000 characters and wait for 1% of them to catch on with the public." My point is that even Stan Lee created a lot of nothing "characters." Characters barely worth the bother of naming. Characters with no real market value. But Kevin Feige decided that he's such a super-genius and Master Storyteller on par with Homer that he could just pick whatever zero-value character from the comics and make them into major players. I remember five years ago: Feige and Marvel began hinting that, to replace Captain American and Iron Man, they were thinking of making a movie about (wait for it...) Nova. Nova! Can you believe it? NOVA! If you're wondering "who the f*** is Nova?," well, it's a zero-value character that Marvel has been pushing since the seventies, with very little positive public response. He's basically a human who was granted Discount Generic Superman powers by the Nova Corps, who in turn were in Guardians of the Galaxy in a fairly minor way. So that was Feige's idea -- sure, I'm getting rid of Captain America and Iron Man, but I'll just do what no other content creator has ever done before and turn Nova into a big thing. Same with all the woke characters he's crapped out-- Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man's annoying woke daughter. Feige promised, proudly, that he would deliver a Marvel Universe that was more than 50% female super-heroes, as if that's a great thing. He's finding out it's not. Crusty "old think" billionaire Ike Perlmutter was right when he told Feige that boys just didn't care about female superheroes. And Perlmutter knew this, based on experience, because he had owned the Marvel toy-making rights for decades, and knew that female characters were peg-warmers that sat on the shelves forever. (Ethan Van Sciver talks about "the Fantastic ratio," referring to the one woman among the four characters of the Fantastic Four, figuring that about one woman for every three male characters is about the right ratio for a universe that appeals mostly to boys.) But even if Feige had kept to the "Fantastic Ratio," he'd still have a problem: Having decided to kill off most of the 1% of characters with actual public recognition appeal, he was left with male characters who'd never caught on. Like Nova. Like "Starfox," introduced in the end credits of The Eternals. It wasn't just wokeness that killed Marvel, though that was 50%. The other 50% of it was Feige's insane delusion that he could mint one popular new character after another. Stan Lee said that he'd created 100 popular characters by creating 10,000 characters, with a 1% hit rate; Feige believed that he could up that 1% success rate to... 100%. 100%. Every single dreg character he put in a movie or TV show would become the next Captain America, just because he's that damn good. There is no way out of this. And the stunt casting of Robert Downey Jr. as some multiverse version of Doctor Doom will not get them out of this hole. Marvel has about, at absolute maximum, 15 characters and teams (like the Fantastic Four or X-Men) that can sustain movies. And that's it. That's all. Just those 15. It took Marvel Comics 70 years to produce 15 characters big enough for the big screen. Feige cannot add another 15 to that list in just a couple of years. It's insane that he ever thought he could.
'He's talking about Phase 4,' continued the noted film critic. 'That's it. Tried it, didn't work. No Kang, none of these side characters that don't have the legacy of classic characters. 'And if Deadpool & Wolverine proves anything...you've heard that phrase 'male and pale is stale'? That was spoken aloud across studios. But if you look at box office this year, I would say 'male and pale is money'. And that's the phrase that I think people should more adopt.' In contrast, Gore said the rival studio, also owned by Disney, Lucasfilm, 'is lost.' 'They are doubling down on all the nonsense. You will never get anything good out of Lucasfilm and Star Wars. That's it,' said Gore. Gore predicted a return to success for the Marvel franchise as they release the remaining 'woke' movies in the can, before focusing solely on entertaining viewers, rather than preaching to them. 'I think we're gonna get a year of bad Marvel stuff,' said Gore, referring to the upcoming television series Agatha All Along and Ironheart as well as the soon-to-be-released Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four.

No one is reporting this yet, but I think it's a fair speculation that he was only given the promotion to Command Master Soldier was in anticipation of leading his unit in the Iraq War. As he bugged out as soon as he was informed his unit was going to Iraq, he obviously did not earn this rank. And the National Guard stripped it from him.
Part of his unofficial coursework, I imagine, was actually leading his unit in combat.
The Minnesota National Guard confirmed Wednesday that Gov. Tim Walz, Kamala Harris' vice presidential running mate, was demoted and did not retire as a command sergeant major like he has claimed for years, including on his official gubernatorial biography. While Walz temporarily held the title of command sergeant major he "retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy," Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard's State Public Affairs Officer, told Just the News.
So in September 2004, he was temporarily granted the rank of Command Sergeant Major -- while the Iraq War was in full swing. If I can read into that: They promoted him because they envisioned him leading troops into war. But he bugged out.
The statement reignited a controversy that began during his 2018 election for governor in which National Guardsman claimed on social media and in a paid ad that Walz declined to deploy to Iraq for combat duty in 2005 and forfeited his title of command sergeant major. Walz chose to run for Congress that year. The governor's biography, published on the state's official website, says that "Command Sergeant Major Walz" retired from the Minnesota National Guard in 2005. At the time he was serving as one of the highest ranking members of the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion. ...
Minnesota Governor Walz was selected in 2004 to serve as the Command Sergeant Major of the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and by September of that year Walz was conditionally promoted to the rank.
But, by early 2005, Walz's battalion was ordered to mobilize for an active duty deployment to Iraq.September 2004, he's given the promotion. In "early" 2005, he's told he'll be deployed to Iraq. And then he quits.
Shortly after, in May 2005, Walz "quit, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war," according to the two Command Sergeants Major. "When your country calls, you are supposed to run into battle -- not the other way," Behrends told the New York Post Tuesday. He ran away. It's sad." "He had the opportunity to serve his country, and said 'Screw you' to the United States. That's not who I would pick to run for vice president," he added.

Many patients at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, an 89-bed facility affiliated with Pennsylvania State University, suffer from schizophrenia, substance abuse, depression, or bipolar disorder. They cannot complete the "activities of daily living," the hospital's inpatient clinic states. Some are "suicidal, aggressive, or dangerous to themselves or others."It works wonders for all the dead who vote Democrat!
During their stay, which is often involuntary, patients participate in group counseling, learn strategies for stress management, have their medication adjusted, and interact with therapy animals. They can also partake in a less orthodox therapeutic activity: registering to vote. Located in a swing state that could decide the 2024 election, the hospital asks psychiatric inpatients, regardless of diagnosis, if they would be interested in "voter registration tools" that let them check their nearest polling station and register to vote online. Patients can also request a mail-in ballot with "assistance" from hospital staff, according to a pair of papers about the project, which began in 2020. Since then, the hospital has continued registering patients--even those who are not near discharge and have not yet been stabilized--on the grounds that voting, as the institute puts it, is a "therapeutic tool" that "helps empower patients and makes them feel good." "Voting is an important part of the recovery process," Julie Graziane, a geriatric psychiatrist who leads the hospital's civic engagement efforts, said in a press release.
Neither she nor Ruth Moore, the hospital's head of community engagement, responded to requests for comment. Initially, the Pennsylvania-based institute was relying on "voter support" materials created by its own staff. In more recent years, however, it has turned to the nonprofit Vot-ER, which develops "nonpartisan civic engagement tools" for "every corner of the healthcare system." Founded by an emergency room physician at Harvard Medical School, Alister Martin, who served as an adviser to Vice President Kamala Harris, Vot-ER has helped more than 50,000 doctors register their patients to vote. Its signature product is a badge--with a QR code that pulls up an online voter registration platform--that health care workers can wear around their necks. Doctors ask patients whether they've registered to vote and, if the answer is no, encourage them to scan the badge. Though Vot-ER claims to be nonpartisan, it is staffed by progressive operatives, funded by progressive foundations, and run by an umbrella nonprofit, A Healthier Democracy, that has referred to DEI as "the bedrock of fair healthcare." And ahead of the 2024 election, it is leading a movement--backed by top medical groups and an executive order from the Biden-Harris administration--that is turning health care centers into political battlegrounds. ... The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Nurses Association, and the Association of American Medical Colleges suggest that clinicians ask patients whether they plan to vote. So does the Department of Health and Human Services, which encourages federally funded health centers to provide "voter registration activities" to "underserved populations." The HHS guidance is the result of a 2021 executive order instructing all federal agencies to promote "access to voting." Vot-ER has advised the Biden-Harris administration on how to implement that order, according to documents obtained by the Washington Examiner, and, amid a tightening presidential race, appears to be targeting traditional Democratic voting blocs. Applications for the group's resources ask whether the "majority of your patients" are "24 years old or younger," "Black/African-American," or "LGBTQIA+." Vot-ER's data indicate that 64 percent of the clinics that use its badges "predominantly serve" African Americans and Hispanics, who lean 83 and 61 percent Democrat respectively, according to the Pew Research Center, while 29 percent of the clinics serve patients primarily under the age of 24, a cohort where Democrats outnumber Republicans two to one. The group even has scripts doctors can use to encourage "undocumented patients" to register their "friends and family members who are citizens" to vote. Vot-ER did not respond to a request for comment. At stake, critics say, is not just the outcome of an election but the integrity of the patient/doctor relationship, at a time when trust in medicine--worn down by the COVID-19 pandemic, the politicization of medical associations, and a string of high-profile scandals at elite medical schools--has reached a nadir. "I can't even begin to tell you how inappropriate this is," said Sally Satel, a lecturer in psychiatry at Yale Medical School. "It's such a contamination of a physician's role."
Read the whole thing. The organization also fights "medical racism." You may ask: Wouldn't mentally insane people confined to an asylum be willing to do anything to please their #WokeDoctors? Especially when these #WokeDoctors control whether they are kept in confinement or released back into the pubic? Especially when these #WokeDoctors are specifically declaring that "voting is an important part of recovery"? Others are asking that as well:
Questions about voting can carry a whiff of extortion in psych wards, Kaminetzky noted, since some patients have been involuntarily committed and are there against their will: "They may fear that not registering to vote will be seen as non-compliant, necessitating a longer stay."

Don't even ask about the "brat" thing. Like everything else about this fakester, it's pure cringe.
I just mean that the childless "Momala" is paying twentynothings to pretend she's hip and #OnTrend. And some of them are annoyed enough to report that she's trying to buy their support.
The attempt by the Kamala Harris campaign to reach out to the new celebrities to help promote her campaign is not going well as huge streamers and influencers are turning her down, with a few even openly supporting Donald Trump. As reported on Tuesday night by Rawsalerts, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, a person with almost 13 million followers, said he'd been getting calls from the Secret Service and the Harris campaign, requesting they do a collaboration, but Cenat made it clear that he's not interested. To be sure, there are influencers that are definitely taking up the offer to collaborate, but it appears these people are being paid to do so. Arizona state senator Jake Hoffman was reportedly given a letter by an influencer showing that a woman named "Alicia Howard," working for a company called MJ Ventures, was offering paid partnerships to influencers to promote the Harris campaign. "An Instagram whistleblower with nearly 150k followers contacted me with screenshots exposing a sophisticated Astroturfing effort underway by the Harris-Walz campaign," Hoffman posted along with the letter.
Apparently, they aren't all biting. In fact, some of them are actively supporting Donald Trump.
Update: Why would he get called by the Secret Service? To clear him to meet Kumala:
>>>Why would the SS be calling an influencer for an obvious campaign-related purpose?? To ask him for his personal information so that they could clear him to be in the same room as Kumala for their "collab." I had to submit info to the SS when I met Bush.

@JakeHoffmanAZ HARRIS-WALZ CAUGHT ASTROTURFING CAMPAIGN SUPPORT An Instagram whistleblower with nearly 150k followers contacted me with screenshots exposing a sophisticated Astroturfing effort underway by the Harris-Walz campaign. Social media users are being PAID to post pro Harris-Walz content on Instagram. Democrats know that Harris-Walz have zero grassroots support, so they're trying to manufacture fake support using cash as the incentive. Do NOT fall for Democrats' propaganda and actively help your friends, family, and neighbors see through the astroturfing!

She lost her primary. She'll serve until January before she gets back to her real business, hardcore racial grift fundraising.
Ilhan Omar is also facing a primary challenger this coming Tuesday.
Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush has lost renomination in Missouri's 1st congressional district to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell, marking the second loss for a member of the far-left "Squad" in Democratic primaries this year. Key Details: Bush lost to Bell by a 5.3 percentage point margin, with Bell leading 51% to 45.7% after 94% of votes were counted. Bush's defeat follows fellow "Squad" member Rep. Jamaal Bowman's loss in New York's 16th District Democratic primary in June. Bush's criticism of Israel was a central issue in the race with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee spending nearly $9 million to support Bell and unseat Bush.
Representative Ilhan Omar's Democratic challenger has sent her a warning after a fellow "Squad" member, Congresswoman Cori Bush, failed to be reelected to her district for a third term in this year's primaries. ... Following the result, challengers to other members of the progressive group of Democrats issued warnings, including Don Samuels, who is running against Omar in Minnesota's 5th Congressional District. "Congratulations, Wesley! It's clear that Democrats around the country are ready to move on from those who put politics above the people. In just one week, MN CD5 has the opportunity to do the same. To everyone in Minneapolis and the suburbs, I hope to earn your support," Samuels wrote on X, formerly Twitter. ... Squad members are battling to keep their seats as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the United Democracy Project spend large amounts of money to defeat them over their criticism of Israel amid the war in Gaza. ...Oh well, if CAIR "condemned" it, then...
Though Omar has expressed similar views [similar to Bush's and Bowman's] about the Israel-Hamas war, AIPAC and UDP have largely stayed out of her primary race. Omar has significantly outraised Samuels, entering July with $1.8 million cash on hand after raising $1.6 million in the second quarter of the year, her campaign announced. Samuels entered the same period with just over $334,000 cash on hand and raised $535,000 in the second quarter, his campaign said. Polls have shown that Omar is ahead of her opponent in the primary race, with a Lake Research Partners survey conducted between July 17 and 21 showing her with 60 percent support to Samuels' 33 percent. A Victoria Research and Consulting poll from February put the congresswoman at 49 percent to her opponent's 30 percent. Meanwhile, Samuels has had to answer for remarks he made about Omar's appearance and for calling her a "pawn for Hamas," which the Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned.
Minnesota is an open primary state so if you're, sadly, a Republican in this brother-marrying Hamas fiend's district, make sure to vote for her primary opponent.
Samuels' campaign said it had met with pro-Israel advocacy groups, including AIPAC, and that there was still time for them to step in and help. He added that their lack of support showed they had misread the district.

Going to start by taking credit. I called that it would be Tim Walz two weeks ago. I knew by paying attention to the leaks coming out of the Dems. Walz was the preferred choice by Obama, but a puzzling one. On the face it looks like they are weak in Minnesota, but I think it really was a matter of having no good choices. The Dems wanted someone else on the top of the ticket, preferably Whitmer who polled the best. But they are stuck with Harris, who is living down to their expectations. She is a terrible candidate.Whitmer made it clear she was not interested in VP, I suspect because she plans to be the nominee in 2028. Next choice was Kelly, but he has too many Chinese connections in the closet. While on paper Shapiro looks like the best choice because Harris cannot win without PA, he is a slimy weasel and has massive baggage. When I saw that "leaked" video over the weekend, I knew he wasn't the choice. That was a trick to try to force him into the position. Buttigeg was never a choice. Gay failure with Leftist failure on the same ticket was never going to work.
So last man standing was Walz, who brings all the excitement of Tim Kaine to the ticket. At least he doesn't lose any votes. Unless they pin the Minneapolis race riots on him.
Here's a little something that will or should clue the clueless into how insane the Left is
His wife Gwen enjoyed the destruction so much that she kept her windows open to smell the burning tires: “I would say those first days, you know when there were riots, I could smell the burning tires, and that was — that was a very real thing. And I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was — what was happening.”Maybe on their anniversary, Timmy the dhimmi can get her a nice necklace from the Winnie Mandela collection.
Will Walz's record of going AWOL, letting Minneapolis burn and the resulting conflagration torch much of urban America, his radical pro transgenderism, gun-grabberism, pro-terrorism, DUI, And all the rest of it, as I stated, in almost every link we have today, be enough to turn the stomachs of the American electorate, what there is that yet remains and identifies as American to stay the hell away from the Democrats let alone pull the lever for Trump/Vance? That is if the propagandist media didn't keep the truth from the public or distort it. As is their mission. As Michael Goodwin notes, this pick signifies Kamala Harris’ VP pick Tim Walz completes the progressives’ takeover of the Democratic Party
I would argue that this likely occurred with the coming of Obama. Perhaps as of now, it's in your face and undeniable especially in the wake of the mass Hamas pogrom of 10/7 and the eruption of anti-Semitic bloodlust on college campuses and elsewhere. And yet vermin like Jamaal Bowman have been sidelined and now another (death) SQUAD member, this racialist subliterate criminal Cori Bush has been primaried out in favor of someone who at least has brains enough to hide whatever Jew-hate and other hard-left proclivities he has until safe to reveal them. Is picking Walz merely political expediency, to placate a rabid anti-American base, as indicated by the sidelining of Josh Shapiro, who though born Jewish is still a lefty, or are there really moderate, for whatever definition of that word there may be in this instance, Democrats? I doubt that. They want power at all costs to transform what they believe in their heart of hearts is an illegitimate and evil nation: the United States of AMerica, into their nightmare vision of society. Kind of shocking that open and avowed Communist Van Jones actually said this
Van Jones admits that Kamala picking Walz was her "caving in to some of these darker parts in the party" in terms of appeasing "anti-Jewish bigots" that have "gotten marbled into this party."Darker parts in the Democratparty? Democrats? That's tantamount to heresy! Breathe deep the flaming tires . . . and gathering gloom.

Top Story
- Lots of juicy details from that Google antitrust ruling. (The Verge)
Google pays device makers enormous amounts of money to direct search requests to them. 20% of Apple's profits come directly from Google.
Estimates from the two companies suggest that it would cost Apple $20 billion in development costs and $6 billion per year in operating expenses to replace Google Search with its own platform, and when Google is paying you $20 billion a year not to do that the decision is pretty simple.
The only problem is that if you are deemed to have a monopoly - which doesn't necessarily mean an absolute monopoly - this is illegal.
Exactly what will happen is still anyone's guess, but Google has few friends on either side of the political aisle. Deemed insufficiently woke for the Democrats, the company has burned every imaginable bridge on the conservative side, many of them twice.

As you know, "One man's socialism is just another man's neighborliness"!
Walz was a big covid-monger -- he proudly announced a snitch-line allowing liberals to call the cops on their neighbors for violating stay-at-home orders. The Nazi Snitch Network reported a lot of people for... going to parks and beaches. Covid's natural hunting ground!!!Jack PosoMegyn Kelly discusses Tim Walz abandoning his unit as they deployed to Iraq, leaving them without a leader as they entered a war zone. Walz has repeatedly lied and said that his term was up in 2005. It wasn't. It was up in 2007. But when Walz got the notification that his unit was about to be deployed to Iraq, he quit. He was asked about this when he first ran for Congress in 2006-- he had no answer for it, and did not dispute the paperwork showing that his term was up in 2007 and that he abruptly quit when served notification that he was about to be mobilized. I doubt his non-story has improved with age. What will be his next excuse? PTSD? Oh, he didn't see combat, much like fellow effeminate closet-masturbator David French. But he got totally wiped on a tough level of Call of Duty, and he just could not deal. He's also a drunk driver. For some reason the military did not punish him, even though Colonel Kurt Schlichter says that a drunk driving arrest would be the end of any military career.
@JackPosobiec MN Army Guard Lt Col: "Walz was known to put himself in for additional devices (oak leaves, good conduct loops, service stars) w/o being remotely close to completing the criteria. Joes, Peers and Superiors could not stand him, very pretentious person that should've never been promoted beyond E6."

So I guess he was saying he couldn't follow officer instructions because he was "deaf"? And yet the blood test confirmed he was drunk.
Dana Loesch
@DLoesch Walz tried to spin his DUI arrest -- his BAC was .128 and hospital blood test confirmed it -- as a "misunderstanding," and he wasn't drunk, but deaf. He thought the trooper was "someone chasing him." Can't make this up.
The "very conservative" NeverTrumper David French says he is All-In!!! on Kumala and Timmy Tampon.

The Biden administration is using a novel application of an 1870 statute to enhance the sentences of peaceful abortion protesters, data provided exclusively to the Daily Caller confirms. In the 30-year history of the Freedom of Access to Clinics (FACE) Act, the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) in just over three years has levied over a quarter of the law's total charges, most of which have carried this novel sentence enhancement, the data also shows. The data, along with the unprecedented enhancement, provide fuel to criticisms from conservatives that the Biden admin is unfairly targeting pro-lifers and using the DOJ for political ends. In some instances under previous administrations, threatening to harm or kill a clinic employee carried less severe punishments. Under Biden's, however, elderly women peacefully protesting an abortion clinic have faced much harsher consequences. After the Supreme Court's Roe vs Wade decision leak in 2022, hundreds of attacks were waged against pro-life pregnancy centers and churches, but the DOJ has only prosecuted five individuals for such offenses. From 1994 to 2024, there were 205 cases against pro-life activists and only six against abortion activists, data provided to the Caller by Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy's office reveals. Prosecutions of pro-life individuals constitute roughly 97% of all FACE Act cases. At least 55 of those cases were prosecuted during the Biden administration, only five of which involved attacks on pregnancy resource centers. In less than four years, Biden's DOJ has accounted for over a quarter of all FACE prosecutions and approximately 24% of cases targeting pro-life activists, the data demonstrates. The FACE Act became law in 1994 and prohibits "violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services," according to the DOJ. The law also applies to pro-life pregnancy resource centers and places of worship. Some claim, however, the Biden Administration is weaponizing FACE against individuals who protest abortion. In the past two years, FBI agents raided the homes of pro-life activists Mark Houck and Paul Vaughn (the former being acquitted and the latter escaping prison time) during Biden's presidency. FACE "has been politicized and abused to target peaceful pro-life advocates," while activists "who violently attacked" pro-life clinics walk free, Erin Hawley, Vice President of the Center for Life and Regulatory Practice at the Alliance for Defending Freedom (ADF), told the Daily Caller.
She explained how the DOJ prosecuted at least 26 pro-life individuals in 2022 but zero activists "who obstructed or vandalized pregnancy care centers." In 2023, Roy and Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee introduced legislation to repeal the FACE Act. "Biden's Department of Justice has brazenly weaponized the FACE Act against normal, everyday Americans across the political spectrum, simply because they are pro-life," Roy stated in a press release. The Caller reached out to the DOJ, but they did not answer questions about FACE directly, instead pointing to its website. The DOJ told the Caller to contact the FBI for more information regarding investigations into attacks on pregnancy centers and churches. The FBI did not respond in time for publication, although in 2022, the agency told The Daily Signal it was investigating attacks on pregnancy resource centers and churches. The FBI would not share if it had arrested anyone in relation to the attacks. From May 2022 to March 2024, there were at least 90 attacks on pro-life organizations and pregnancy resource centers, according to CatholicVote, which tracks attacks by abortion activists. The data is gathered from news reports, direct tips and public information the attackers posted online. Many of the incidents appear to be associated with the pro-abortion groups Jane's Revenge and Ruth Sent Us. Since May 2020, there have been over 400 attacks on Catholic churches, the website reports. "Congress ought to repeal [FACE] immediately," the Thomas More Society's Senior Counsel, Steve Crampton, told the Caller. Crampton represented Vaughn during his FACE trial. Crampton stated unequivocally that pro-life protests have not increased in aggression during the post-Roe era. He said there was a lack of "hardcore" protests by pro-life activists after the Dobbs decision and contrasted that with the hundreds of attacks against churches and pro-life pregnancy centers. Organizations like the National Abortion Federation (NAF) claimed attacks on abortion clinics increased in 2022. The NAF's statistics are based on reports from facility members. A NAF report stated there was an increase in "clinic invasions," or individuals who "fake appointments," "force their way into the clinic" and "refuse to leave." They reported 20 clinic invasions in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, there were zero reported murders, attempted murders and bombings at abortion clinics. There were four reported incidents of arson and 101 acts of vandalism in 2022, though. The Crime Prevention Center (CPC) also conducted a study in 2022, but it showed pro-life groups experienced over 22 times more violence than pro-choice organizations. CPC identified 135 attacks on pro-life groups from the date of the Supreme Court leak to September 24, 2022. There were only six cases concerning pro-choice groups. CPC said NAF's 2021 report failed to provide a list of cases to substantiate the data. Crampton argued there has not been an increase in pro-life protests, nonviolent or otherwise. He stated only a small percentage of pro-life individuals engage in demonstrations at abortion clinics. He also noted how "for the first time in history," Biden's DOJ added underlying charges, specifically the felony Conspiracy Against Rights charge, to FACE Act prosecutions. The Conspiracy Against Rights law prohibits two or more people from "conspir[ing] to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate" anyone exercising their constitutional rights. A violation of the law is punishable by fines and up to 10 years in prison, providing there is no kidnapping or sexual assault. Crampton explained how the original purpose of the law -- enacted in 1870 -- was to protect newly enfranchised African American voters, but the Biden Administration "twisted" it to target peaceful pro-life activists exercising their First Amendment rights. Moreover, after the Dobbs decision, he said there was no constitutional right to an abortion. President Bill Clinton nominated D.C.-based Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly in 1997. She has sentenced at least nine defendants during Biden's presidency, each time delivering severe punishments. The Biden administration charged those defendants in 2022 with allegedly obstructing access to an abortion clinic in Washington, D.C. Each protester faced up to 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines of up to $350,000, according to a DOJ press release. The demonstrators protested the Washington Surgi-Clinic abortionist, Cesare Santangelo, who was accused of violating federal law by allegedly performing partial-birth abortions. Activists with the group Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising reportedly found five fetuses -- which appeared to be victims of late term abortions -- in a box of 115 fetuses outside the clinic. Pro-life organizations and five House Republicans in 2024 called for investigations into the five abortions. One demonstrator at the clinic was a 75 year-old woman, Paulette "Paula" Harlow. Kollar-Kotelly sentenced her to 24 months in prison for allegedly violating FACE and the Conspiracy Against Rights law by attending the demonstration, according to a DOJ press release. Another defendant, Lauren Handy, was sentenced to almost five years in prison.

The Secret Service sure picked the perfect time to take a couple of years off, eh?
The Secret Service decided to skimp on assets and counter-snipers during this period. I'm very suspicious of any conspiracy theories, but questions must be asked. And answered. Answering those questions is the important part, which our Civil Service Overlords always refuse to do. We should start addressing them as "lords." Because that's what they are now, isn't it? They're our lords. They are a new aristocracy.
The Justice Department has charged a Pakistani man who has alleged ties to the Iranian government with seeking to carry out political assassinations, a case that prompted the US government to increase security for former President Donald Trump and other officials, according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday. FBI investigators believe that Trump and other current and former US government officials were the intended targets of the plot, a US official briefed on the matter said. Asif Merchant, 46, is accused of traveling to New York City and working with a hit man to carry out the assassinations in late August or early September, according to charges filed by federal prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York. Merchant was arrested on July 12 while preparing to leave the United States, prosecutors said, shortly after he met with purported hitmen who he believed would carry the murders but were actually undercover law enforcement officers. He is in federal custody. The FBI investigated the alleged international murder-for-hire plot in the weeks before a 20-year-old from Pennsylvania nearly assassinated the former president at one of his rallies. A law enforcement official told CNN that investigators have not found evidence that Merchant had any connection to the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania.
... The plot revealed by US prosecutors on Tuesday adds to a growing list of detailed Iranian plans to allegedly kill Trump, according to national security officials. The US government has repeatedly raised concerns that Iran may try to retaliate for a 2020 US drone strike that killed Gen. Qasem Soleimani, a top general in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) by trying to kill Trump or his former advisers.

Note that he was appointed, provisionally, command sergeant major in April and then, in the very next month of May, he quit the Guard because his unit was being sent to Iraq. But he claims he was a command sergeant major. For 21 days? Provisionally? And he quit to avoid going to war? Fuck this fat fuck. Trump cheered the selection of Walz.
On a 150-year-old farm in Brewster, Tom Behrends hopes his tell-it-like-it-is style will finally get the attention he believes it deserves in Minnesota's race for governor. "The public needs to know how pathetic his leadership was as a National Guardsman," Behrends said about Gov. Tim Walz. He's back again to wage a public war of words against Walz. This is what his grain bin looked like in the 2018 election: "He abandoned us. What the hell kind of leader does that? As soon as the shots were fired in Iraq, he turned and ran the other way and hung his hat up and quit," Behrends said. This all starts years ago, when Behrends says Walz's misleading statements about his military service first led him to come forward in the fall of 2018. The story was largely ignored and Minnesota's largest newspaper, the Star Tribune, checked it out but decided not to publish, according to Behrends. "When the reporter called, I thought, 'What the hell, is this North Korea?'" Behrends recalled. Alpha News reached out to the Star Tribune but didn't receive a response. The backstory Back in early 2005, a warning order went out to southern Minnesota's First Battalion-125th Field Artillery to mobilize for a mission to Iraq, Behrends said. Walz served as the unit's highest non-commissioned officer after he was conditionally promoted to command sergeant major on April 1, 2005, records show. On May 16, Walz retired from the guard, avoided the deployment, and ran for Congress. Walz has implied in previous statements that he didn't retire because of the deployment, but National Guard records show his service obligation wasn't complete until September 2007. Behrends was next in line for the position and was asked to take his place. "I was like well, for Pete's sake, if this guy quits, if I say I'm not going to do it, I mean, what the hell kind of leadership is that?" Behrends recalled. "If a company would say we're going to deploy to Iraq and the foreman says, 'I'm not going,' what does that say to the 500 that work in that factory?" Command Sergeant Major Behrends went on to serve in Iraq on a nearly two-year deployment, all while Walz began using that very title as a congressman. Behrends said he contacted Walz with his concerns before raising the issue publicly, sending letters to Washington in 2016. The letters all went unanswered, Behrends said. Behrends again tried to draw attention to the story in 2018 when Congressman Walz announced his run for governor. "It kind of just sat there, you know, when he was a congressman. He bragged that he was a retired command sergeant major and the highest-ranking person ever in the House," Behrends recalled. "Then, the state of Minnesota came out after 2018 after this was exposed and they said, 'Well, he can say that he served as a command sergeant major, but he can't say he's a retired one because he's not,'" he added. "He was saying that and there were campaign letters coming in the mail saying that. They said, right on there, he's a retired command sergeant major. Just tooting his own horn, hanging on the coattails of people that actually are command sergeant majors that went through all the process and put all the time in," Behrends said. A spokesperson for the Minnesota National Guard previously said Walz wasn't able to retire as a command sergeant major since he failed to complete coursework and other requirements related to the rank. Documents show the Army corrected Walz's service record. He was reduced in rank to an E-8 master sergeant after retirement. "It's stolen valor is really what it is. I don't know of anybody else that's done what he's done," Behrends said.
Former President Donald Trump says he is thrilled Vice President Kamala Harris announced her VP pick as Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. "THANK YOU!" Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday. ... The Trump team immediately launched into attacking the Minnesota governor after the Harris team's announcement, ripping him for his "far-left" record dealing with his home state's stances on immigration, gender, COVID-19 and the riots after the death of George Floyd. "Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are two open-borders, weak-on-crime, defund-the-police liberals who make up the most radical, far-left ticket in the history of our country," Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley wrote in a statement. "Walz supports illegal immigration, has called cops racist, put violent criminals back on the street, and in 2020, let rioters burn the Twin Cities while Kamala stepped in to fundraise for their bail." Trump adviser Brian Hughes said, "By picking Tim Walz as her running mate, Kamala Harris not only bent the knee to the radical left, she doubled down on her dangerously liberal, weak, and failed agenda.

Walz is the perfect running mate for Kamala: He balances Kamala's San Francisco Socialism with some Minnesota Communism.
If you missed it, Jack Poso says that some of the National Guardsmen who served with this louse say he bailed out of the Guard when he got word they might be deployed to Iraq:

@kylenabecker JUST IN: Media buzz is rising that Kamala Harris is selecting Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her VP choice. Who is Tim Walz? Let's take a quick look: * Fueled BLM Riots in 2020
* Rioters looted and wrecked Minneapolis
* Change MN state flag to resemble Somalia's
* K*lled old people with Cov*d nursing home scandal
* MN a 'gr**mer friendly' LGBTQIA+ "sanctuary" state
* Pushes youth trans surgery, 'hormone therapy' agenda
* Soldiers accused Walz of embellishing and selectively omitting facts about his military career
* Fellow soldiers accused him of "quitting" on them
* Got DUI in 1995 going 96mph in a 55 speed zone
* Praises socialism Kamala's "perfect" running mate?

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone's having a meaty, musky Tuesday. Kamala Harris' best VP pick would have been Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. He's moderate -- um, by modern Democrat Party standards, leastaways -- and he's the governor of the tipping point state in this election. (A "tipping point" state is the state that's in the middle of the battleground states, politically -- it's where the election literally tips one way or the other.) He was the pick that scared me the most. Picking him would suggest that Kamala Harris is making a play for the middle. There was, of course, just one small problem with Shapiro: He's a Jew, and the antisemitic left hates Jews. Don't take my word for it -- here's Democrat Florida Representative Jared Moskowitz:
Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, on Tuesday named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate as she faces off against former President Trump in the 2024 election, Fox News Digital has confirmed. The naming of the 60-year-old Walz was not a shocker, as his name was instantly thought to be in contention in the two weeks since Harris succeeded President Biden as the party's standard-bearer. Walz, a former congressman, is in his second term as governor of Minnesota, a state that Democrats have reliably won in presidential elections for decades but that the Trump campaign has aimed at flipping this cycle. "I am proud to announce that I've asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate," Harris officially announced on X Tuesday. "As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he's delivered for working families like his." She added: "It's great to have him on the team. Now let's get to work."Look at this list of "accomplishments:"
Walz, the chair of the Democratic Governors Association, may also help Harris when it comes to bringing in campaign cash, as he has helped steer the DGA to record-breaking fundraising this year. The governor will also be able to showcase a slew of progressive policy victories in Minnesota, including protecting abortion rights, legalizing recreational marijuana and restricting gun access to curb shootings. Raised in rural Nebraska, Walz enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1981, soon after graduating from high school. Walz returned to Nebraska to attend Chadron State College, where he graduated in 1989 with a degree in social science education. He taught English and American History in China for one year through a program at Harvard University before being hired in 1990 as a high school teacher and football and basketball coach in Nebraska. Six years later, he moved to Mankato, Minnesota, to teach geography at Mankato West High.BTW, expect him to make a big deal out of his "war record." During the Gulf War, he served in... Italy. Whoa, that's what I call hazard duty. I know: "They also serve who only stand and wait." Agreed! I just don't want to hear that he's an "Iraq War (era) veteran. No more DaNang Dicks. Update: Whew, that was fast.
@JackPosobiecEd Driscoll rounds up reactions from the right. He quotes Minnesotan (I think) John Hinderaker:
BREAKING: Minnesota National Guard Leaders publish letter exposing Tim Walz for Stolen Valor Walz lied about his rank, and quit when he heard his unit was going to mobilize to Iraq
As an American, I am horrified at Walz's selection. He is small-minded, mean-spirited man. In one way, he will fit in with the Harris ticket: he ran a basement campaign for re-election in 2022, refusing to show up for debates with Republican Scott Jensen after the first one went badly. So Jensen was left debating an empty chair. Walz's character defects are considerable, but let's leave it at this: he was largely responsible for the George Floyd riots that devastated Minneapolis and other cities, because he dithered for days rather than calling out the National Guard. By his own admission, he held off out of sympathy for the rioters' cause.Kyle Shideler says this is a bold strategy, Cotton, we'll have to see how it works out for them:
Kyle Shideler
@ShidelerK So Kamala picked the governor who failed to handle the rioters in the same state where she supported the rioter's bail fund? Seems like a choice.
ZitoSalenaUpdate: What I think this means is that Pelosi didn't want a VP candidate who could help win the White House -- she wanted a VP pick that would excite and solidify the leftwing base, and thus help Democrat Senators and Congressmen win their seats. Remember, that's what panicked Pelosi -- not that Biden was losing, but that he was losing so badly it was causing Democrats to tune out of the election. She feared losing 8 Senate seats. As for Josh Shapiro: He was so gutless, heartless, and thirsty for power he scrubbed his record of any unacceptable support for Israel:
@ZitoSalena ...2 things are true. 1st picking @GovernorShapiro would've been about expanding the coalition [while] picking Walz is about a base election. @GovTimWalz is deep blue progressive, often called a prairie progressive. 2nd this was Pelosi's pick & she has been at the controls all along.

@ChristianCamara Disgraceful: Shapiro scrubbed his Wikipedia page of his @IDF service and is distancing himself from his pro-@Israel past to earn the Harris VP nod.
Ron ColemanScumbag cuck and self-hating antisemite prick. Pro-Trump activists are going to make the very-pro-arson-and-racial-insurrection Tim Walz pay for his weidness:
@RonColeman Poor @JoshShapiroPA stitched his foreskin back on for nothing
