Back from my workout -- and strangely it seemed a little less oppressive out there, even at 82 F. -- cleaned up and getting fed. Of course I slopped the feline hogs first. My kitchen sink is clogged again, and the plunger technique didn't work. I've called the so-called maintenance people. Maybe they'll come snake it out today. Maybe. The "Rainy Day Feeling" group was The Fortunes, from 1971. "Rhythm of the Rain" was '62. No idea if anybody from the earlier group wound up in the second, or if both tunes were written by the same person.

It would be funny if Intel really is able to fix the ring bus cooker without reducing performance. It would mean that it was an out and out screw up by the numbers that never even had to happen, and could have been solved when it first showed up, if they had been willing to address the problem head on, rather than trying to pretend everything was fine.
