As your wages contract in the midst of high, unstoppable inflation, please remember: Kamala Harris is practicing the "politics of joy," as her media propagandists have dubbed it. She is above petty concerns about real wage losses and stagflation: She's all about bringing joy.
This is "vibes" election, not a "facts" election. Racists. Via Hot Air, the Wall Street Journal reports a general reduction in wages. If there is a silver lining to this stormcloud, it's that a fall in wages will help bring down inflation. So, problem solved? No, not even close. While falling wages might eventually help bring down the Bidenflation, for a long period we might have falling wages plus rising prices. These things do not perfectly coincide with each other. A wage bubble may pop, but it may take a year for that to impact prices for goods. Add in the fact we're tipping into a recession and The Fed has no more bullets left for forestalling it, except creating more inflation. So we'll see falling wages, rising prices, and a contraction in jobs. So people may see the terrible post-Carter recession of 1982-83. Biden and Harris will end their fake presidency and vice-presidency with a perfect economic storm. And this will not Bring Joy, I can assure you. There's more great news for the Biden-Harris economy: Dollar General is reporting a "record drop" in sales. Usually downscale stores and fast food restaurants are seen as a good hedge in a recession -- almost recession-proof and inflation-proof, as it were. After all, even poor people have to buy something. And yet a dollar store is crashing. Beege Wellborn:
Pay for many white collar recruits shrank last year, and now wages for new hires in construction, manufacturing, food and other blue-collar sectors appear to be ebbing too, according to an analysis of millions of jobs posted on ZipRecruiter.com.
Job seekers report seeing roles that once offered salaries between $175,000 and $200,000 a year ago now being advertised for tens of thousands of dollars less, a change that has had them rethinking their pay expectations. Companies are also moving job openings to lower-cost cities or offering them as lower-paying contractor roles, recruiters and corporate advisers say. The push to reset employee salaries reflects a power shift in the cooling hiring market.
The party of the poor and disenfranchised has done a fine job of "opportunity" and "making life affordable" when their inflationary indulgences have crushed lower wage earners and poorer Americans so severely that even Dollar General becomes an extravagance.

It is very late August, we are at the peak of Hurricane Season, and the Atlantic is devoid of any tropical activity. A quick look at NOAA’s Seven-Day Tropical Weather Outlook map shows not even a disturbance between Texas and Africa, and less than a 40% chance that something will develop by early September.
The start of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season is just over a week away, and federal forecasters Thursday predicted an "extraordinary" season with as many as 25 named storms possible. This is the most storms the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has ever predicted in a preseason outlook.Michael Mann, the famed “climate expert” of hockey-stick fame, went even further, predicting a whopping 33 named tropical storms this year. “Michael Mann and colleagues predict a record-breaking 33 named storms for the 2024 North Atlantic hurricane season. It is the highest count ever projected.” [Penn Today]
{Mann’s team] forecast an unprecedented 33 named tropical cyclones, potentially ranging between 27 and 39. “We’ve seen many hyperactive seasons over the past decade, and in just about all cases, like our prediction for this year, the activity is substantially driven by ever-warmer conditions in the tropical Atlantic tied to large-scale warming,” says Mann. When a “rare” July hurricane* entered the Caribbean and then “slammed” into Texas as a weak Category 1 hurricane, the media somehow went into an even greater degree of hysteria. (*There have been 26 prior July hurricanes that have hit the US mainland since 1850, but this one, number 27, somehow was proof positive that the angry climate God was now seeking retribution against us carbon sinners.)

Good Morning Kids. Well, to be perfectly fair, when Kamala Harris states, in response to the accusations of her flip-flopping on her positions regarding every issue under the sun, her assertion that her "values have not changed" is indeed 1,000% truthful, honest and accurate. That's because she is a committed Marxist-Leninist whose entire adult life has been devoted to the dismantling of this nation as founded, all in service to that goal as she attains power and influence and a prime position on top of the smoldering ruins.
Like every other Leftist politician, flip-flopping on issues, is merely the stock in trade that they see as necessary to convince us despicable, "DEPLORABLE!" rubes in flyover country who "bitterly cling to our guns and Bibles" to not believe our lying eyes and convince us that they're as American as baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Chevrolet, as opposed to gulags, tree bark soup and drag queen story hour. Unfortuntately, considering the track records of far too many in the GOP over the course of many election cycles now (even going back to IKE who didn't lift a finger to try and reverse any of the New Deal) who promise the moon if we only vote harder, flip-flopping is not the lone purview of Leftists. while this pre-canned, pre-digested "interview" of Harris and her emotional support white man was a dumpster fire, the true believers who will still reflexively vote for them and stuff ballot boxes for them will likely not see it that way.Did you catch Kamala Harris' first "interview" as the Democrat Party nominee for president? It was pretty much everything you'd expect from an interview conducted by CNN. Lots of softball questions, lots of word salad responses. CNN anchor Dana Bash actually asked some decent questions, but what really struck me about the interview was that Kamala Harris, more often than not, avoided answering most of the questions, and Bash didn't seem to be concerned with getting an actual answer. You knew things were going to be bad when Harris really struggled to give a coherent answer to the cliché question about what she would do on "on day one." . . . While Dana Bash asked some decent questions of Harris and Walz, she also asked plenty of softball questions that were a complete waste of time. Now, again, this was 18 minutes of actual interview that was aired, reportedly trimmed down from something longer, so it's no shock that so much of the interview was fluff and softball questions, and it's no shock that Dana Bash never called Harris out for blatantly lying. It's also not shocking that Kamala was never presented with clips of her own words endorsing the exact opposite of what she claims to be about now. And Walz wasn't pressured to explain why he lied about his service, his DUI arrest, and about using IVF. Bash just accepted his longwinded and weak response about his "grammar" sometimes being wrong as a legitimate explanation. . . . . . Trust me, you'll never see Donald Trump get such an easy interview. Not even from Fox News. Kamala was asked about the "iconic" photo of her giving her speech at the DNC, and Walz got a question about his son being so proud of him at the convention. The nation, that is to say what still remains of it, would have been better served, Had RFK Jr.s running mate Nicole Shanahan been allowed to say her peace:
But she is a traitor to the counter-American revolution and as such is to be eradicated.
Until recently, Shanahan’s political orientation was Democrat. For 20 years, she’s donated to Democrat candidates and funded Democrat issues. However, she’s also suspicious of big-tech and big-pharm medicine. She distrusts IVF for infertility and thinks that women aren’t getting enough sunlight. (This isn’t as crazy as it sounds. As COVID shows, Americans are sorely lacking in Vitamin D, which is a necessary ingredient in our immune systems.) Also, because her daughter is autistic, she’s interested in non-standard approaches. (As this luminous novel reveals, the scientific community has been awful at autism.) In March 2024, Shanahan joined Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., as his running mate in his independent presidential campaign. By this time, Shanahan had already witnessed the Democrat party freeze Kennedy out of the primaries, and from March forward, she saw Democrats ensure that Kennedy couldn’t get on most state ballots. An open mind is a terrible thing to waste. Are Shanahan, and RFK Jr. merely outliers, if this is merely sour grapes at the Democrats for screwing them over, then blasting their erstwhile compatriots, and theoretical fellow travelers seems quite counterproductive in long-term political strategy. Or is there a significant percentage of people out there who are having the scales fall from their eyes, to greater or lesser extents about who and what the source of all the ills of this nation really are? Regardless of what I still disagree on issue-wise with these two, it's vital to build a bridge and find common ground, now that an opportunity exists with two influential people that do have an audience. Compromise where we can and try our best to not just sway them to our side but convince them we indeed are on the same side vis a vis creating a society that elevates liberty and the individual over the state. Have a good weekend.
Now that the campaign is over and Kennedy has endorsed Trump, Shanahan has done a few press appearances—with conservatives, everyone from Jesse Watters to Adam Carolla. What’s interesting is that this exposure to actual conservatives, rather than to the leftist caricature of conservatives, is that, as she told Dave Smith, she now understands how the media and the Democrat establishment have consistently lied about conservatives and the MAGA movement: . . . You know, actually, the best part of joining forces with Trump has been seeing MAGA, which I'm learning so much about. I was completely misinformed about what MAGA is. I don't know if you've taken any deep dives into MAGA-world, but I was just under the impression that they were gun-toting radicals who wanted to come to my doorstep and rip my liberal family out of my house, and, I don't know, do horrible things to liberals. And that's how that's how MAGA has been sold to a huge portion of America by the mainstream media. And I have to say that what I have learned about MAGA is that they're actually their own party. They're their own grassroots organization that chose Donald Trump. They have so much power in deciding where to point their energy and support. And they are really, really smart, thoughtful, intellectual people within MAGA. I’ve received beautifully written notes from MAGA supporters, and they were... You know, our base didn't know how to engage with MAGA. Our base was not, you know, MAGA-oriented in the sense of even knowing who and what MAGA was and what their infrastructure was. In many ways, it's an online, viral movement.

You all remember that when Trump won in 2016, all the Marxists in government immediately opened up Telegram accounts -- so that the government could not read their messages -- in order to form what they expressly called a "#Resistance" to block the orders and initiatives of the democratically-elected President of the United States.
Ironically, these same lefties are now celebrating that Telegram's co-founder has been arrested for not giving up user information to any government that demands it. So-- are these Deep Staters saying they agree their seditious, fireable-offense conspiracies to subvert the results of the 2016 election should be released, too? Or nah? Flash forward to January 2021, when a "Male" Karen in the National Archives began having a hissy-fit over Trump removing, get this, boxes from the White House. This little ball-nuzzler began the investigation that would culminate in the Mar-a-Lago raid just two years later. Because Trump removed boxes of his personal items from the White House! And now, today, another Marxist Karen decides that Trump is not permitted to enter the Arlington National Cemetery because his mere presence is "political." The vicious little bitch attempted to physically blockade Trump's staffers from entering, and then filed a complaint with the Army when they decided they weren't going let this bitch bar their way.Maggie HabermanAww, she "fears being targeted"? Trump, by a leftwing lunatic with a rifle, who was spurred to kill him by this constant assassin-baiting by the corrupt media, which, by the way, needs to be brutally repressed. They don't respect my right to free speech -- I'm all out of regard for theirs. The entire media is now pushing this New Rule that no politician can enter Arlington National Cemetery. If that sounds like yet another just-made-up Trump Only "rule," you've got that right. Harris had pulled ahead, but now, perhaps, the "joy dividend" from her coup is fading, and non-joyous reality once again dominates people's thinking.
The Joyful One had pulled ahead in Silver's forecast earlier. And he still thinks she's likely to win the national popular vote -- but not by so much as to lock up the electoral college. Silver thinks it's meaningful that the latest poll from tipping-state Pennsylvania -- the state which will be the key state whose winner will win the election -- shows Harris in a tie with Trump. That may not sound great (and I don't think it is great), but I guess he thinks this is Harris's high-water mark, and if she still can't manage to get a poll showing her in the lead in Pennsylvania, she will probably lose it, as the "Joy" fades.Posted by: Disinformation Expert Ace at 04:40 PM | Comments (371) | Trackbacks (Suck)
Say, Kamala Harris loves school buses.
Is she going to adopt Trump's position of deporting criminal migrants, I wonder? I doubt it.Let's do zero investigation and make sure it remains unknown. Whatever happens, their motivations must remain a mystery. We don't want to find out anything that might damage the leftwing Marxist narrative.
More than 20 illegal immigrants in southern California attempted to board school buses on two separate occasions as the buses were on routes transporting children, school district officials said. Two bus routes in the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District were interrupted by groups of illegal immigrants earlier this week, forcing the school district to warn parents to "stay [vigilant]," Fox 5 San Diego reported. The first incident happened on Tuesday afternoon and involved three men walking in the middle of the road and trying to get the school bus filled with children to stop. Superintendent Liz Bystedt said that the bus had to "go around" the group to continue on its route. On Wednesday, another bus stopped at a designated pick-up spot near where the bus from Tuesday was forced to drive around illegal immigrants and was met with a group of 20 illegal immigrants who attempted to board the bus. Bystedt said that parents who were at the bus stop waiting with their children ensured that the kids made it onto the bus safely and that no illegal immigrants boarded. It is unknown if the groups are connected, the Fox report said.
Yeah I'm sure they'll get right on it.
The superintendent said that the district reported both bus incidents to the U.S. Border Patrol, California Highway Patrol, and San Diego County Sheriff's Department, according to Fox 5. "The San Diego Sheriff's Office was made aware of this incident today. We are conducting a follow up investigation to determine if a criminal act has occurred. The Sheriff's Office takes issues regarding student safety very seriously and are working with the school district in order to keep the students and our community safe," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
Jamul is just 25 miles from the Mexican border city of Tijuana. The San Diego sector has been a hot spot for illegal border crossing this year, with more than 37,000 arrests made by the U.S. Border Patrol in the area in April, the Associated Press reported. Is it possible these Military-Aged Men merely mistook the yellow school buses for intercity passenger buses? Well, Mexico paints its school buses yellow. So Mexicans would recognize these as school buses. Guatemala, however, buys old US school buses and repurposes them as public transport, so I guess it's possible that these large groups of men were merely attempting to catch a ride on what they thought was a public bus. Though those "chicken buses" are painted colorfully. They're not yellow. And I'm not sure how these Newcomers didn't read the word "SCHOOL" on the buses, especially because the Spanish is so similar (escuela). Unless they're also completely illiterate, not just in English but in Spanish as well. In that case, of course: we owe them an even bigger, heartier "Buenvenidos, muchachos!" But whatever. Don't worry about it, peasant. Our Newcomers are Welcome to do as they please. You need to learn their language, culture, customs, but they don't have to learn anything about yours.

Thanks to Bertram Cabot, Jr. for the headline.
Of course she was. Everyone in Biden's orbit knew, as Clinton's Chinese Connection "fundraiser" Jonny Chung said of Democrat Party politics, "to ride the subway, you have to put the coins into the machine." The basics are that Kamala Harris offered $1000 to a Beau Biden "charity" for its email list, which she would then exploit, hitting up donors for political donations to her campaigns. The "charity" also offered Kamala a board seat after she offered that $1000 "donation." Obviously, it wasn't a donation, it was a payment for the email list. I don't think this story will have much impact. It's pretty inside-baseball and relies on knowing, and caring about, federal election law and exempt "charities" law. The money Kamala Harris offered the charity, in exchange from the email list, was never actually paid, so there was no crime. Well, I guess a Bragg-style political prosecutor could claim that by offering a charity an illegal payment, Kamala Harris entered into a conspiracy to violate the law of charities, and a Merchan-style judge would approve of the charges. Still, it all has a bad smell. Like Kamala. Allegedly. Why are they offering to give it to his political campaign, instructing him then to shift the payment to the "charity"? Because she knew what she was doing was illegal, so she was telling him to use the money as slush-money funds to be moved around to avoid the law.
Allies of Joe Biden were skeptical that Kamala Harris was "ready" for the national spotlight during her 2016 US Senate campaign -- but were apparently happy to hand over donor lists and even offer her a board seat with the Beau Biden Foundation after her camp dangled a $1,000 contribution, emails on first son Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop show. If completed, the convoluted transaction flouted the Foundation's tax-exempt status and may have violated federal election law, experts told The Post this week. Allies of Harris, then California's attorney general, contacted Josh Alcorn, Beau Biden's top political and fundraising adviser, with an unusual request in late 2015 -- months after the former Delaware attorney general died of brain cancer.
"Just an FYI -- Kamala Harris's campaign reached out. They'd like to pay us about $1,000 for access to the email list," Alcorn wrote in a December 30 email to Hunter and Hallie Biden, Beau's widow.
"The money would go to the [Beau Biden] campaign, then be transferred to the foundation," explained Alcorn, who ran the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children from January 2016 to June 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Just an endless daisy-chain of back-washing, beak-dipping, favor-trading, and corruption, really.
"Seems like a good thing to do, and we would work out a way to get some names and emails from her once her general election is over," he added. "This isn't a foundation issue -- just a campaign wrap up issue. If either of you have objections, let me know." On Jan. 12, 2016, just under two weeks after that exchange, Alcorn floated Harris as a proposed addition to the foundation's board. The email exchange ended with Alcorn informing Hunter Biden that he will "try to schedule the call with AG Harris." Three former members of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) told The Post that donor list swaps are common and legal among campaigns, as long as each pays fair market rate. But funneling the Harris payment to the foundation in exchange for the donor list -- after the Biden family made clear months earlier that Beau's campaign funds would be donated to the foundation -- would have been a different matter. "Charitable organizations are not supposed to be involved in transactions with partisan campaign committees," said Michael Toner, who served as FEC chairman in 2006 and as a commissioner between 2002 and 2007.
"If ... the foundation had used that donor list and they'd raised $100,000 and they're giving that donor list to Kamala Harris' campaign" for $1,000, explained former FEC commissioner Hans von Spakovsky, who served from 2006 to 2007, "they've gone way over the amount of money that can be contributed." "They're not charging the fair market value and that's the way the FEC looks at things like this," he added, pointing out that there is currently a $2,000 cap on the amount that campaigns can contribute to other campaigns. "The fair market value of Campaign A's list, which it gives to Campaign B, is worth $1,000. That is OK because it is still within the $2,000 limit," von Spakovsky went on. "But assume that the value of Campaign B's donor list is $4,000. They have just swapped lists. This was an uneven exchange, resulting in Campaign B making a $3,000 contribution to Campaign A, which is illegal because it violates the $2,000 contribution limit." If the donor list came from the foundation itself, he said, that would also amount to "an illegal corporate contribution."

This is the wrong line of attack. Completely, utterly wrong.
If you say she's stealing Trump's policies, that mean she is going to implement the policies people want. Which is much more important to them than squabbling about who gets credit. Trump did the same thing with DeSantis. I mean, 1, I don't know if "enforce the border" is exactly a new policy position, and 2, what does it matter who originated a policy if it's a good idea? Do we shy away from borrowing Reagan's ideas of low tax/low regulation and peace through strength because he thought of them (or, at least, was the first major adopter)? The real attack should be that Kamala Harris is lying. She knows her actual policies are unpopular, so she's lying about them so she can get elected and impose them on an unwilling population. She's not stealing the policy. She's lying about the policy. She has absolutely no intention of implementing "Trump's policies." And if you tell people that she's going to implement Trump's very popular, common-sense policies-- they'll say, "Well good! We get Trump's policies without Trump's baggage." Is squbbling about "credit" more important than that? Anyway:J.D. Vance hits Kamala for swiping Trump's policies Quick Hit: At a campaign rally in Big Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday, Senator JD Vance criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for allegedly adopting Trump's policies, mocking her for mirroring his agenda while campaigning for reelection. Key Details: JD Vance, running for vice president with Donald Trump, accused Kamala Harris of copying Trump's policies. Vance highlighted Harris' shift from being the most liberal senator to supporting policies like border security and tax relief. Vance mocked Harris' approach, suggesting she might even adopt Trump's slogan and attire. Diving Deeper: On Tuesday, Senator JD Vance (R-OH) took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris during a campaign stop, accusing her of adopting policies first championed by former President Donald Trump. Vance, who is campaigning as Trump's running mate, humorously portrayed Harris as someone who closely follows Trump's lead, only to repackage his ideas as her own. Speaking to a crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Vance remarked on what he sees as a significant shift in Harris' political stance. He noted that she once held the title of the most liberal senator, yet now appears to be embracing several of Trump's key policies, including no taxes on tips and a stronger border. "I read a story this morning that her advisers are considering just copying all of Donald Trump's policies," Vance quipped, drawing laughter from the audience. "They're more popular. In fact, I've heard that for her debate in just a couple of weeks, she's going to put on a navy suit, a long red tie, and adopt the slogan, 'Make America Great Again.'" Vance's comments echo Trump's own sentiments. Earlier in August, during a speech on the economy in North Carolina, Trump suggested that Harris has been deliberately holding off on announcing her plans until after he has revealed his, allowing her to mimic his proposals. "Kamala Harris won't end the economic crisis, she will only make it worse," Trump told his supporters. "And why hasn't she done it? She talks about it, she's doing a plan, you know, she's going to announce it this week maybe." Trump then added, "She's waiting for me to announce it so she can copy it," which was met with cheers from the crowd.Trump gets at the right line of attack there -- "If she really supports these policies, then why isn't she already doing it, then?" is the right way to answer this. But it's buried under a lot of whining that she's copying his homework. If you accuse her of stealing good policy ideas, you might just accuse her into victory. Please stop. Please focus on what actually matters, not this petty personal grade-grubbing bullshit. She's not even claiming she'll build the wall. She's doing what she did with fracking -- having anonymous aides tell her media allies that she's changing her position, without committing to that change herself.
Of course, this comes to Axios through unnamed campaign aides, since Harris herself still won't speak to reporters or publish her policy positions:Ed Morrissey explains that Kamala is attempting to claim she supports the wall indirectly, by claiming she supported the Amnesty proposal pushed by that pale wan dickwarmer Lankford. Lankford's bill, he claims, exchanges amnesty but also "requires" funding for Trump's wall. But what does it actually "require"? Ed Morrissey explains: Almost nothing at all.[Marxist propaganda rag Axios:]Needless to say, this new position-ish comes with a lot of caveats, with the first being that Harris herself has said next to nothing on this or any other policy as the nominee. It's what she did say at the convention that appears to have forced the campaign to address this, however. In her speech, Harris blamed the border crisis on Trump's opposition to a bipartisan immigration-reform proposal that Harris herself never endorsed, as Senate Republican James Lankford reminded Axios. Harris never once voiced support for the bill, and in fact never got involved in border-security issues, a crisis in which Lankford was closely engaged, calling Harris a "Johnny-come-never" on the issue. Beside, the compromise bill may have given the Biden administration authorization to spend money on extending the Trump border wall -- but it was not nearly enough...
If she's elected president, Kamala Harris pledges to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the wall along the southern border -- a project she once opposed and called "un-American" during the Trump administration. Why it matters: It's the latest example of Harris flip-flopping on her past liberal positions such as supporting Medicare for All and banning fracking -- proposals that aides say she now is against.
"Requires" does a lot of heavy lifting here. Trump estimates that it will take $18 billion to complete the project. The compromise bill only authorizes $650 million, which only amounts to a 3.6% down payment on the full wall. At an estimated $46 million per mile, that appropriation would add a grand total of 14 miles of barrier on the southern border. That border stretches for over 700 miles, meaning that this allocation would have covered a grand total of 2% of the problem. That's why Trump opposed it, of course. It was yet another fake. Lankford claims the bill "requires" funding for the wall, but when you check the specifics, it "requires" only 3.6% of the funds necessary. Which will be reversed as soon as amnesty is granted anyway. And furthermore -- PRESIDENTS ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO SPEND MONIES AUTHORIZED AND ALLOCATED. The bill can authorize the funds, but Biden-Harris would just choose not to spend it. Or to spend it on "related" matters, like... processing illegal aliens into the country. This is all a lie, a scam, a hoax, a grand deception on par with those perpetrated by the Soviets and Nazis. It is in no way "copying Trump's plan." It's such a huge self-made disaster to do Kamala's bidding and pretend along with her that she's "copying Trump's plan"!

I say "assault rifles" because that's what the media would call them if the weapons were carried by people who "look Republican."
Is this America?Potential gang activity was caught on surveillance camera in a Colorado apartment building after what one former resident calls "no accountability" kept law enforcement from assisting. The video shows many men armed with handguns, and one with a scoped rifle, bursting through the door of the apartment complex for unknown reasons. The group appears to be Tren de Aragua, or TdA, a transnational gang based out of Venezuela. The gang, with reportedly 5,000 members, has a motto of "real until death," or "real hasta la muerte." TdA is now linked with over 100 crimes across the nation, according to reporting from the New York Post. Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky said in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital that "without a doubt that there is sex trafficking now going on" in relationship to TdA's activities in the city. "This is organized. They patrol the property with guns visibly, like they're not trying to hide them. There's no repercussion. These are ghosts," said one resident who spoke with Fox News Digital on the condition of anonymity. The gang has also been seen dealing drugs in the same apartment building, according to this resident. The resident, who moved out of the overtaken apartment building on Wednesday afternoon with the assistance of City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky and congressional candidate John Fabbricatore, said to Fox News Digital that "I literally had to borrow from everybody I know to get into a new place. And it's every bit of money I had."Aurora Police confirmed the video -- but claimed that the paramilitary sex-trafficking gang's "influence" is "isolated."
... "There's no safety net for you because the police are not coming. They say, 'stay inside and lock your doors.' I have to work! I was paying rent, these people haven't been paying rent at all. I've been paying rent every month for years," the resident told Fox News Digital. ... In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky said, "In the entire Denver metro area, it has been like pulling teeth to get anyone, the media, other elected officials, to get anyone to acknowledge the presence of this trend and to acknowledge that there is even a problem."
"I hope [the police] do something because they could have helped me get out. Literally. Their answer for me was, 'you ever think about moving?' That's what they told me when I was like, and I started crying," recalled the resident. "There's no help coming for any of us. The police have checked out. They're not on our side."

And I've seen reported that Merrick Garland intends on going after anyone who might protest the results of 2024. So, if Trump wins, does that mean he'll go after Democrats with the same zeal he went after Trump? Is there a statute of limitations on Al Gore, John Kerry or Hilary Clinton for protesting the results of 2000, 2004, 2016? Basta cosi. Meanwhile, here's something to be completely ignored by Garland and cohorts. Domestic terrorism against the enemies of the Junta:
The pro-death hamassholes protesting the Democratic National Convention weren’t just going to head home without leaving behind a present for everyone else to clean up. Volunteers at a Catholic pregnancy center in Chicago arrived to work the morning after the DNC wrapped, only to find their doors were cemented shut by vandals, Catholic News Agency reports. “FAKE CLINIC" and "“THE DEAD BABIES ARE IN GAZA" were scrawled in giant red letters across the front windows of the nonprofit Aid for Women. The group also found dripping gobs of red paint splattered over the rest of the building’s entrance. Security footage reportedly caught the vandals committing the crime at 3 a.m. on August 23. Aid for Women advisor Mary FioRito shared evidence of the damage to her X account, showing the center’s door’s lock covered in cement, which also covered the ground where it opens. The only dead babies anywhere near Gaza were Jewish, roasted alive in front of their parents, or dead from abuse after being kidnapped and tortured in the terror tunnels. But I digress. I'd say the next piece is where we are headed, but given what happened to Trump and anyone who came to DC on 1/6 to exercise their right to free speech and wound up in the Garland Archipelago with their lives ruined, we're already there.
They’re coming for you next: While making a public comment criticizing the town’s attorney at the local city council meeting for Surprise in Arizona, Rebekah Massie was ordered to either shut up or be arrested by the town’s mayor, Skip Hall, because the council does not allow citizens to make such criticisms during the public comment period.I reference my previous comments about our judicial system. In any case, the problem isn't so much the thug who ordered her arrested but the cops who only followed orders and slapped the cuffs on her. Befehel ist befehel! after all, nein? America 2024, what a country. Have a good day.
When she had the audacity to note quite correctly that she was entirely within her first amendment rights to say whatever she wanted, Hall then had her arrested.
I have embedded the video of this event below. It is egregious beyond words.
Mayor Skip Hall of Surprise, AZ has a constituent arrested during a city council meeting for openly complaining about how much specific city employees are being paid . . .
. . . As Massie states, her right to speak and say whatever she wants has been repeatedly confirmed by Supreme Court rulings. When Hall reads to the council’s rules against any such criticism during public comments, she responds, “That’s all fine and good, but that’s a violation of my first amendment rights.” When he claims she agreed to these rules she repeats, “It is unconstitutional.” His response illustrates his complete ignorance of and contempt for the law and our basic rights under the Bill of Rights, “It’s not unconstitutional.” When still Massie refuses to be silenced Hall orders her to be removed. When she refuses to leave she is then violently arrested. Hall claimed she was resisting, but Massie later explained, she was “not resisting, my daughter is here, I don’t know what’s going on, you say I’m being detained, but I don’t know what for.” Massie has an extremely strong case for suing Hall and the entire city council of Surprise for a lot of money. Her arrest was unnecessary for her to win and was probably a mistake on her part, but it makes no difference. The city council’s rule forbidding any criticism of any city employee is absurdly unconstitutional, and to use it to silence Massie makes Hall and that city council very liable for damages.

- Coziness between spies and journalists has grown exponentially worse as society has progressed further into the digital era. Media outlets have closed foreign news bureaus and sent veteran foreign correspondents into retirement. In their place have settled swarms of young, eager J-school grads, some responsible for writing as many as a half dozen articles a day, with no requirement for multiple sources and no fact checking, posted to news websites where the ability to stealth-edit an error has replaced pro-active high-quality and knowledgeable editors.

Top Story
- OpenSea has been issued a Wells notice by the SEC. (MSN)
To unpack:
OpenSea is a leading marketplace for NFTs.
NFTs are in effect digital baseball cards. They have no intrinsic value, but people put value on them largely based on their rarity.
A Wells notice is issued by the SEC when they plan to sue a company for violating securities laws.
So what the SEC is alleging here is that any collectible item without intrinsic value - baseball cards, Pokemon cards, MTG cards, US senators - is a security subject to the commission's regulations.
Is there any law stating this? No.
Didn't overturning Chevron clamp the wheels of federal agencies trying to issue this sort of sweeping ruling on their own authority? Yes.
Aren't NFTs a scam anyway? Only mostly.

Quote I “It turns out Kamala is the communist everyone thought she was. When you promise price controls on food, you end up with bread lines at the grocery store. When you add $1.7T more spending, inflation goes back up,” President of Club for Growth Action David McIntosh
Counting all of your chickens before they hatch, how quaint.
Quote II "We don't want anyone to get hurt. We want everyone to be safe." Middletown Animal Control Officer Olivia Garcia
I guess that is why she is an officer and not management.
Quote III "The disease is among the most contagious known, and the only way we know to stop it is to maintain very high immunization rates — upwards of 95%. Two doses of vaccine provide lifelong protection for about 97% of recipients.” Paul Cieslak, medical director for communicable diseases and immunizations at the Oregon Health Authority's Public Health Division.
