More Left-Wing Terrorism: Four Arrested for Throwing Spike-Strips In Front of ICE Vehicles

The Democrat media continues to avoid reporting on this, and Democrat politicians continue avoiding condemning it or even acknowledging it.

They think they can duck the issue because their media allies are covering it up.

They're living in the past. The leftwing media is dying and no one goes to them for actual news any longer.

BREAKING: Border Patrol releases names & photos of suspects accused of using devices to spike their vehicles in LA today. The suspects were in possession of a tote bag w/ CHIRLA branding on it that had more spikes in it. CHIRLA is the major anti-ICE activist network in LA, and it has received $34 million in taxpayer funding. Law enforcement sources tell me that one of the suspects is transgender. They are all now facing felony charges.

CHIRLA is the "human rights" (open borders lunatic) organization that receives government funds to organize and lead violent insurrections against the government.

The various Democratic-aligned groups helping to fuel the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement uprising in Los Angeles are well funded and part of a coordinated operation despite organizers' efforts to make them appear spontaneous and grassroots.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, one of the activist organizers at the center of the Los Angeles protests, received millions in taxpayer dollars through government grants, including federal funding for immigration assistance services, a Washington Examiner review found.

Formed in 1986, CHIRLA is a 501(c)(3) legal services provider helping illegal immigrants, including those convicted of crimes, avoid deportation.

CHIRLA informed criminally convicted immigrants of California's Proposition 47, which downgraded and resentenced certain crimes. Under this 2014 state statute, felonies involving drug possession, fraud, and theft were classified as misdemeanors instead.

"Prop 47 could help clean your criminal record," CHIRLA previously advertised, noting that noncitizens with criminal convictions may be deported.

According to CHIRLA's tax filing for fiscal 2023, the charity reported receiving approximately $34 million in government grants that year, up from $12.4 million in grant money in 2022.

Grant records show the Department of Homeland Security, the federal agency CHIRLA is protesting, has awarded the anti-deportation group with several six-figure grants since 2014 as part of a citizenship and assimilation program that financially supports organizations "actively working to remove barriers to naturalization." Categorized under "Citizenship Education and Training," the DHS grants totaling $1.2 million to CHIRLA were earmarked for "citizenship instruction and naturalization application services."

On X, a DHS spokeswoman said the Trump administration cut off CHIRLA's federal funding in March, including nixing nearly $101,100 remaining of a two-year, $450,000 grant yet to be paid out. According to a termination letter addressed to CHIRLA, the DHS determined that "the scope of work performed under this award no longer effectuates the program goals and the Department's priorities." CHIRLA was accordingly instructed to cease all federally funded activities carried out under the auspices of the award.

CHIRLA has also received a significant amount of taxpayer funding from the state of California, according to a Washington Examiner review of statewide grant records. In 2023, the state's Department of Social Services awarded CHIRLA about $3 million for an initiative providing free legal services to immigrants, such as application assistance in "cases seeking immigration remedies," i.e., deportation relief. Since at least 2020, CHIRLA has been granted $3 million each fiscal year through this legal assistance program. In 2022, CHIRLA received $1.37 million from California's social services department, specifically to provide pro bono defense services in removal proceedings.

...

CHIRLA, which is aiming to raise $65 million in funds for its new headquarters, also solicits donations online through ActBlue, the Democratic Party's primary fundraising platform, which is under federal investigation for facilitating a number of suspicious foreign transactions.

The spike-strips were carried in a CHIRLA bag:

Six Secret Service Agents Suspended Due to Failures at Butler Assassination Attempt

Finally.

They're being suspended without pay. They're not being fired, but when they return to work, they will have "diminished operational responsibilities."

Six members of the Secret Service have been suspended for failures related to last year's assassination attempt against President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pa.

The suspensions for the six agents ranged from 10 to 42 days, and they won't be paid while on leave, Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn told CBS News on Wednesday.

The agents will not be fired, but upon return to work, they will be placed in roles with diminished operational responsibility.

"We aren't going to fire our way out of this," Quinn told the outlet. "We're going to focus on the root cause and fix the deficiencies that put us in that situation."

I think you're giving up too quickly on "firing our way out of this."

...

A scathing Senate report on the assassination attempt released in September determined that "multiple foreseeable and preventable planning and operational failures by [Secret Service] contributed" to Crooks' ability to carry out the deadly shooting.

"These included unclear roles and responsibilities, insufficient coordination with state and local law enforcement, the lack of effective communications, and inoperable [Counter-Unmanned Aircraft] systems, among many others," the damning report read.

A second assasination attempt against Trump took place two months later at the president's Palm Beach, Fla., golf course.

Quinn insisted that the Secret Service is "totally accountable for Butler."

"Butler was an operational failure and we are focused today on ensuring that it never happens again," he said.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

The headline says it all!

What this demonstrates is that the enforcement of our laws protecting American workers from predation by illegals is woefully inadequate. A nice fine levied against every employer who employs illegals would be a fine start. How about 100 times the hourly wage employers pay the illegals....each day they work? That ought to focus their minds on the basic documentation necessary to prove legal employment status. And the whining protestations from these employers are insulting. How hard is it to prove that a prospective employee is legal? It's called an "I-9," and it is administered by the federal government. Those meatpacking plants in Iowa and the strawberry farms in California and landscaping services all over the country can go pound sand if it is too difficult. It's the law, and by breaking it they subvert the economic and cultural recovery of America. I have zero sympathy, and in fact would love to see criminal charges brought against a few dozen CEOs, to encourage the others!

And if they make the specious argument that the I-9 system is insufficient, then the Trump Administration is capable of bolstering that process. But it is the employers' responsibility to ensure that their employees are legal, and if it takes more time and costs a bit more to be certain, well, that is the price I am willing for them to pay!

LA needs construction, landscape workers as illegal immigrants stop showing up for work amid ICE enforcement

In Los Angeles, landscapers as well as framers are not showing up to job sites as President Donald Trump is carrying out his agenda and crack down on illegal immigration in cities around the nation.

According to Bloomberg, LA, which erupted in riots against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) earlier last month after ICE was conducting operations in the city, has been seeing low staffing in some industries that have relied on immigrant labor such as construction and landscaping.

“We don’t have enough people to staff the work and we’re scrambling to figure it out,” said Arturo Sneider, the CEO at Primestor, a real major estate management company in California and two other states. “It’s triggering delays."

Well Arturo...tough shit. Pay a decent wage to legal workers and you will have your pick of legal employees. In fact, why don't you sponsor a job fair and some training programs for high school students who need jobs.

Hell, expand that to every high school in the country. So we need framers? Great! I've done it, and it isn't that hard to learn. And a few weeks of instruction on how to run a leaf blower may even be within the skillset of some of our public school teachers! These are entry-level jobs and are just perfect for people just starting in the job market.

America doesn't have a labor problem. There are plenty of people to fill these jobs, but not at the artificially low wages that the GOPe and the globalists prefer. Labor is governed by basic economic laws, just like everything else. But if the legal wage is higher than the illegal wage, the labor market is distorted, and does not function normally.

As for relief for certain industries? No. America has seen too much variability in the application of the law, and a generation or two of rigid and vigorous application of labor and immigration law will do wonders for our respect for our institutions, and begin to repair the horrid damage that illegal immigration has done to our country.

The Morning Report — 7/10 /25

DemVampire.jpg

Good morning kids,

Kind of funny that Debbie Wasserman (Test +) Schultz is worried about ZOhran Mamdani driving away Jewish voters . . .and yet she who was last seen being spit-roasted by two Pakistani brothers and jihadist terrorist adjacent computer hackers, has yet to say boo about Bro-Fo Omar, or the Coelacanth-looking Dearbornistanian Rancida Tlaib, or Andre Carson, TItty-Caca Ocasio-Cortez and all the other bust out loud and proud Jew-haters in her party. All of a sudden, oh no! we might lose the Jewish vote! AS IF!!!

Sadly given the fact that the vast majority of my co-religionists (which is merely a tragic accident of birth) who continue to delude themselves into thinking the Democrat Party is their savior and protector will always vote Democrat regardless of who their candidate is, simply out of generational, Pavlovian reflexive belief of the myth that Democrat = Good and GOP = Evil, regardless of the facts hitting them in the face like a molotov cocktail from a keffiyah-clad Columbia undergrad. But even if they don't, and by some miracle even one of them wakes up and smells the coffee, New York city and state are rigged, the fluke of Rudy Giuliani and Doomberg notwithstanding. There is no way Curtis Sliwa will win, and the fact that Eric Adams, Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop mass murderer Cuomo or even Carlos Danger couldn't win the primary is indicative of just how utterly insane New York and its Democrat Party are.

Basta Cosi, as there are more important things in the offing this morning.

But in a related story, as I will attempt to elucidate if you bear with me, at least this will make you smile:

Violent demonstrations against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations broke out near a courthouse in downtown San Francisco, California, on Tuesday. Video of the protest shows far-left demonstrators attempting to interfere with federal immigration enforcement action by barring the path of an ICE van and climbing onto its hood.At least two demonstrators can be seen in the video clinging to the ICE vehicle as it attempts to drive away, with one person falling off and another holding on as the van swerves sharply. Protesters, many wearing masks and keffiyehs, were also seen engaging in physical altercations with federal agents. “Holy f***ing s**t, frightening times, right?” a demonstrator can be heard exclaiming in the video before adding: “What the f**k have we gotten ourselves into?”Meanwhile, another protester who spoke with local San Francisco media, identified only as “Sorin,” stated that see was injured while attempting to block an ICE vehicle. “I was bleeding everywhere,” she said, adding: “They were brutal to those of us trying to exercise our rights and protect our community.”

Good. "What the fuck have we gotten ourselves into?!" Helluva time to wake up, Genius! Now lick your wounds, and take it like a man (as perhaps your cellmate in D-Block will tell you as he bends you over in the prison shower).

If only that would be the fate of John Brennan, James Comey (pronounced Cummy) and Clapper.

Alas, At the very least as CBD and I pondered in the latest episode of the podcast,(linked here, in the sidebar and at the usual outlets noted below the exposure of their treasonous treachery will forever stain them and stand as a warning for future generations of a revived America.

So, As Debbie Wasserman Schultz contemplates why no one condemns Zohran Mamdani and the turn that her Party is taking, and searches for a jackhammer to attempt to remove the encrusted godzilla semen from her hair, curious that she is not equally curious why no one, and not least of which her in this case, is condemning the attacks on ICE.

Is there a greater danger to a constitutional republic than an armed phalanx of nihilists, activated by the words of the leaders of the minority party, attempting to maim and kill government officials?

For all their sanctimony about “protecting democracy” and “upholding the rule of law,” today’s Democrats have built a movement that selectively nullifies both. When they’re in power, they ignore the law, declining to enforce statutes they dislike, gutting immigration courts, and instructing executive agencies to slow-walk deportations.

When out of power, they attempt to nullify the exercise of executive power through venue shopping, nationwide injunctions, institutional sabotage, and now, through ideological violence.

It’s the same pattern every time: If voters elect someone they oppose, they launch impeachment proceedings or shop for a judge to block authority. If ICE agents do their jobs, they are branded as racists. If a president uses Article II powers to enforce the border, they call it fascism. It’s nullification by any means necessary—ballots, bench, or bullets. The difference between the Democrat party and the Jacobins is increasingly that of wardrobe and weaponry. The Democrats have spent years stoking this fire. They wrap their bombast in the language of compassion—but it’s calculated sabotage, and they know it.

Lurker Extraordinaire, and Ace Cruetly Fanboi, Prof. Victor Davis Hanson states in his eloquent and accurate essay . . .

Unmoored from power and panicked by Trump’s momentum, the left lashes out—from Congress to campus to the street—with rage born of fear and fading influence.

For sure, Trump's successes are a major factor in the lashing out by the Left we are witnessing. But Trump's policy successes hold up a mirror and serve to underscore the Democrat/Left's abject failures and destruction that have been going on for decades. And that is the real danger to the Democrats, it is an existential threat to their future as more and more people are awakened to this fact: that all of the pain, misery, suffering and waste of life and potential for well over 200 years is all the fault of the Democrat Party and the Leftist movement. Perhaps like the hapless bruised and baterred Antifa dupe above, more and more average Democrat voters are saying to themselves in their own quiet way "What the Fuck Have We Gotten Ourselves Into?!"

Trump, and please God a growing and unstoppable movement of American revival and renaissance that he started when he came down that escalator 10 years ago will eradicate Leftist progressivism and last until America's Quincentenary in 2276 and beyond. Amen.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Have a great day!

Good evening Horde. The time has come for mid-week shenanigans of the overnight variety.

This is the Wednesday night ONT. Pull up a chair and sit a spell. Be nice to your fellow commenters and AoS contributors. Tip your bartender.

Been a rough week on a lot of fronts. Prayers for all among the Horde for issues known and unknown, small and large, and personal or adjacent. TRex isn't smart enough to pray for specific intentions, so I usually stick with praying for strength and wisdom and for happiness and good health. May it be also for those in Texas.

Quick Hits

Remember when ABC's gay Ken doll David Muir reported from the NC floods wearing a fake fireman's jacket with clothespins pulling in the waist so that he looked cute on TV?

Well now he's in Texas, with a cinched-in tight t-shirt.

The reveal here is that Mark Halperin thought he was "already out," but Megyn Kelly says no, that's just the widespread belief. I guess it's a don't-ask-don't-tell situation.

Are there any straight male proggies? Any at all?

The Wisconsin judge who aided and abetted a fugitive from the law asked to have her case dismissed.

The magistrate in her criminal trial refused.

The magistrate makes rulings which are passed on to the actual judge. The judge can sign these orders or reject them.

Dugan filed a motion in May to dismiss the charges against her, saying she was acting in her official capacity as a judge and therefore is immune to prosecution. She argued that the federal government violated Wisconsin's sovereignty by disrupting a state courtroom and prosecuting a state judge.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Joseph on Monday recommended against dropping the charges. The ultimate decision is up to U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman, who can accept the other judge's recommendation or reject it.

What they're saying:

"We are disappointed in the magistrate judge’s non-binding recommendation, and we will appeal it," Dugan attorney Steven Biskupic, a former federal prosecutor, said in a statement. "This is only one step in what we expect will be a long journey to preserve the independence and integrity of our courts."

Judges simply declaring that the law doesn't apply to them is the left's way of "fighting fascism."

In one of the most fascist acts of the Obama-Biden junta, the DOJ prosecuted a twitter-user for posting the old joke that you should rush to the polls on Wednesday (that is, the day after the election). The Obama-Biden junta, fanatically devoted to criminalizing all right-wing speech, prosecuted this poor guy and got him sentenced to seven months in federal prison for, alleging, conspiring to defraud people of their right to vote.

That insane conviction has now been tossed.

In 2023, Mackey was convicted and sentenced to seven months in prison for a meme he made about the 2016 election. His graphic, obviously a parody, indicated that people could vote for Hillary Clinton via text. Clinton herself hilariously tried to blame her loss on Mackey, instead of recognizing the fact that American voters simply hate her.

But today, we received great news from Mackey himself. The U.S. Second Court of Appeals has overturned his conviction and instructed the lower court to dismiss all charges against him.

Pretty much the same story every week: CNN and MSNBC's ratings fall again.

MSNBC and CNN suffered staggering losses in viewership over the past year -- while Donald Trump's ascendancy supercharged Fox News in the cable news ratings war.

The left-leaning networks -- which will both be spun off by their respective parent companies -- suffered year-over-year declines in all major metrics for the second quarter compared to the same period last year, according to the latest Nielsen data, which was reported by AdWeek.

Comcast-owned MSNBC, with its rabid anti-Trump lineup of anchors, drew an average 1.008 million primetime viewers from April to June, a year-over-year decline of 15%, Nielsen figures show.

In the the advertiser-covered 25-to-54 demographic, primetime viewership plunged 20%, to 91,000 compared to last year -- despite star anchor Rachel Maddow returning to full-time duty during the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

...

The exodus of eyeballs was even worse during the day, with total viewership plummeting 26%, to an average of 596,000, and 31%, to 57,000, in the key demo compared to the same quarter last year.

CNN, which has languished in last place despite paying anchor Anderson Cooper a reported $18 million in salary, averaged 538,000 total viewers in primetime for the three-month period and 105,000 in the demo, according to Nielsen

Year-over-year, the network saw declines of 13% in total viewers in primetime and a 15% drop in the 25-54 demo.

Leftwing Podcaster: Kamala Harris Appeared on My Show But It Was So Disastrous I Never Published It, Because I Didn't Want to be Blamed for Her Defeat

Kamala Harris, a Noted Genius, decided that one of her Scripted Cute Viral Moments with this Muslim podcaster was to keep babbling about how great bacon is and how bacon is a spice.

One thing that's always grated on me with Harris is her inauthentic attempt to connect with "the youth" by constantly pushing internet memes from 2007. Bacon, Venn diagrams. Hot dog is sandwich. No wait, that's how Jonah Goldberg attempts to seem relevant to the Modern Audience.

This appearance was intended to be yet another "humanizing" Kamala Harris puff interview, like all of her "interviews" are. This guy apparently just has people on to offer light "hot" takes, silly crap like Hot Dogs Are Sandwich. First she came on to say that she didn't like taking her shoes off in Airport Security Theater, but I guess she realized she was contradicting official state policy so this was too dangerous.

Instead she decided to sing the praises of bacon to a Muslim.

The appearance was so stilted and awkward that he says they "mutually agreed" to bury it.

baconisaspice.jpg

NYPost:

Kamala Harris gave an interview before the presidential election that was so "confusing and weird" that she and the host mutually agreed not to air it, a social media personality recently revealed.

The former Democratic presidential candidate's appearance on "Subway Takes," a popular online series hosted by Kareem Rahma where guests admit their favorite hot take, was filmed in Summer 2024 but never saw the light of day, the presenter said.

"Her take was really confusing and weird, not good, and so [we] mutually agreed we shouldn't publish it," Rahma told Forbes reporter Steven Bertoni in an interview posted on TikTok on Monday.

Huh. He buried Kamala Harris's answers because they were so awkward they would hurt her chances in the election.

Hire him for 60 Minutes, CBS! He's a natural!

Supreme Court Overrules Lowly District Court Judge, Okays Trump to Merely Plan for Mass Firings in the Government

Note that the lowly district court judge didn't just rule Trump couldn't fire his own employees.

No, the lowly district court judge issued a restraining order blocking Trump from even making plans for firing them.

The Supreme Court overturned that insurrectionist ruling.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed the Trump administration to begin carrying out sweeping layoffs across the federal government, lifting a lower court's block on a February executive order directing agencies to initiate major workforce reductions.

Key Details:

The Court granted the administration's emergency appeal, overturning a May injunction by U.S. District Judge Susan Illston that had halted layoffs at over 20 federal agencies.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented, claiming the decision gives President Trump a "wrecking ball" to use against the federal bureaucracy.

Affected departments include State, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, Transportation, and the Social Security Administration, with legal battles expected to continue over the broader implications.

Diving Deeper:

President Donald Trump scored a major legal victory Tuesday when the Supreme Court cleared the path for his administration to implement a sweeping plan to cut the federal workforce. The high court lifted a district court injunction that had barred the administration from enforcing a February 11 executive order directing agencies to prepare for widespread "reductions in force" (RIFs).

The unsigned order, which appeared to have an 8-1 majority, allows Trump officials to move ahead with plans that could impact tens of thousands of federal workers. The decision doesn't settle the ongoing legal fights surrounding the layoffs, but it does permit the administration to begin executing the executive order and a related Office of Management and Budget directive in the meantime.

...

In her dissent, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Biden appointee, sharply criticized the majority, accusing them of greenlighting legally questionable moves without fully examining the facts. "While the President no doubt has the authority to manage the Executive Branch, our system does not allow the President to rewrite laws on his own under the guise of that authority," she wrote. Jackson also took aim at the court's increasing willingness to override district courts in emergency decisions, suggesting the majority showed "enthusiasm" for rubber-stamping the administration's actions.

Note that the DEI hire Katanji couldn't even get the old DEI hire Sotomayor to agree with her.

In fact, Sotomayor rebuked her for once again refusing to apply the actual laws and rules of jurisprudence and ignore the fact that no cuts have yet even happened. You cannot rule that a plan is illegal, Sotomayor lectured Ketanji Brown Jackson, until that plan actually exists.

But Ketanji thinks the obligation to wait for a plan before ruling that plan unconstitutional is just more "legalese" and would prefer to continue with her Opray Winfrey Jurisprudence, in which nothing is based on precedent, rule, or reason, but is just the sort of thing that stupid leftwing women shout and yammer about to get applause from other stupid leftwing women.

Bureau of Labor Statistics: Employment of American Citizens Increased by 2,000,000 Since January, While 530,000 Fewer Illegals Have Jobs

Real hope and change.

President Donald Trump is growing the nation's workforce by filling open jobs with native-born Americans, rather than importing more migrants to take such work, Bureau of Labor Statistics data reveals.

"Compared with the start of the year, foreign-born employment is down by over half a million workers and American-born employment is up by over two million," Breitbart News Economics Editor John Carney reported.

And while hundreds of thousands of native-born Americans are scoring jobs in Trump's economy, the all-important labor force participation rate rose from 61.4 percent to 61.8 percent, with the highest level ever of native-born Americans employed.

The Heritage Foundation's E.J. Antoni made a similar note, mainly that compared to former President Joe Biden's migrant economy -- where nearly all net job growth went to foreign-born workers -- Trump's economy is delivering nearly all net job growth to native-born Americans.

"What a difference a president makes: last Nov, the 12-month change in jobs among native-born Americans was -1.1 million but for Jun it was +1.7 million; truly remarkable..." Antoni wrote on X.

Without millions of illegals flooding into the country to make the cost of labor cheaper -- which is our corporate overclass's #1 top priority -- American workers finally are seeing real wage growth for the first time in decades.

Likely thanks to Trump's crackdown on illegal employment, "average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 8 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $36.30 in June," the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.

We are building towards a second Trump Miracle Economy.

After Four Men From the Same Syrian Immigrant Family Sexually Assault Women in a German Pool, Germany Unleashes Propaganda Campaign Advising German Women to Stop Groping Jihadis

After Muslims "guests" groped and sexually assaulted their hosts, Germany sprang into action, lecturing native German women to please stop fondling the jihadist invaders.

rebellion_hayo_phaei_german_immigrant_antigroping_posters_07-07_2025-853x1536.jpg

Mark Steyn:

As you can see, in one poster, a white man is invading the privacy of a brown woman; in the second, a white man is grabbing the bottom of a brown woman; in the third, two white men are assaulting a brown woman; and, in the fourth, a predatory redhead is groping a brown man with a peg leg - presumably a Somali pirate whose storm-tossed galleon was forced to put into port at the Cologne municipal baths.

As Europe's bestselling newspaper was obliged to point out, this advertising campaign is the precise inversion of German reality:

Eleven days ago, eight girls were sexually assaulted on a trip to the swimming pool trip at Gelnhausen. The alleged offenders are four young men. All four are said to be from the same Syrian family.

There's a surprise - not. I am not saying that the advertising-agency manginas who came up with this campaign and the bureaucrats who signed off on it should be identified, hunted down in the streets and killed. I am not even saying that they should be brutally sodomised like the ten-year-old boy in the Theresienbad pool, whose attacker had his conviction overturned by the Austrian Supreme Court on the grounds that, being from Iraq, Amir could not be expected to know that the cute little moppet was not consenting to his anal rape. But I am saying that every self-respecting bikini-clad flame-tressed thunder-thighed Hausfrau should pursue these manginas down the sidewalk groping their arses every inch of the way until their poor put-upon posteriors have to be replaced by prosthetics from the same company that Somali pirate gets his from.

...

What the German state is telling you in that ad campaign is that there is no possibility of meaningful democratic change on anything that matters - and that, even as your society descends into hell, you will be blamed for it. What next? Rotherham cracking down on "grooming gangs" with posters showing Sammy Woodhouse groping nice young Pakistani lads? The German campaign is a near parodic example of what feminists used to call "victim-blaming". Because it is the logical and necessary consequence of public policy.

Steyn calls it another "blizzard of lies." I prefer to call it the Empire of Lies.

People are getting tired of the Empire of Lies. The non-elite "elites" are always asking how people became so distrustful and cynical about our Precious Institutions.

Hint: Constantly lying about everything in order to appease extremists and criminals and denigrate and demoralize the law-abiding normies is causing the caustic cynicism. We don't believe you for a very simple reason: You are inveterate liars. You are incapable of speaking the truth, even accidentally.

Biden's Corrupt Doctor and Biden, Inc. Business Partner Refuses to Testify to Congress, Citing the Fifth Amendment Right Against Self-Incrimination

No one is above the law, right?

They sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for refusing to cooperate.

So no one is above the law, right?

Biden's physician declines to cooperate in GOP probe of former president's mental fitness

Kevin O'Connor, who served as Joe Biden's physician while the former president was in office, refused to testify in a closed-door interview as part of the House GOP probe into Biden's mental acuity and whether his inner circle sought to conceal his limitations from the public.

O'Connor Wednesday morning asserted doctor-patient privilege and his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, according to a statement from his attorneys. He had repeatedly argued his duties as a doctor complicated his ability to testify under oath about his patient, preventing him from sharing some sensitive information.

"On the advice of his legal counsel, Dr. O'Connor refused to answer questions that invaded the well-established legal privilege that protects confidential matters between physicians and their patients," the statement read. "His assertion of his right under the Fifth Amendment to decline to answer questions, also on the advice of his lawyers, was made necessary by the unique circumstances of this deposition.

There is no physician-patient confidentiality here because Congress intended to ask questions about O'Connor's publicly-stated (perjured) reports on Biden's supposed perfect health.

There is no privilege once you voluntarily make something public. Either it's private or it's public, and O'Connor made it public.

There may be things that he could assert privilege about, but not about his public declarations.

The statement also cited President Donald Trump's own invocation of his Fifth Amendment right before his deposition with New York State Attorney General Letitia James, quoting Trump's suggestion that only "an absolute fool" would refuse to take the Fifth.

...

O'Connor arrived on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning as required, but left less than an hour after the interview began. Before his departure, though, O'Connor's legal representation delivered a statement to committee members elaborating on their client's decision. In a copy of prepared remarks obtained by POLITICO, they said that the ongoing Justice Department investigation into the same subject raised the risk of potential incrimination -- even though they insisted it did not imply the doctor had broken the law.

They also emphasized that pleading the Fifth does not imply an underlying crime was committed and in fact can be a strategy taken by innocent people to avoid being coerced into making incriminating statements.

O'Connor's strategy tracks closely with decisions by more than 30 witnesses who testified before the Democrat-led committee to investigate the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the riots at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Those witnesses all asserted their Fifth Amendment rights on a question-by-question basis. In those cases, the committee was unable to pierce the privilege but pointed to those invocations in its final report as a significant barrier.

The media's take was that these assertions of the fifth amendment proved criminal conduct then.

Now, of course, they apply a completely different rule.

...

However, O'Connor's invocation is already providing fodder for Oversight Committee Republicans.

"By pleading the fifth at his deposition today, Dr. Kevin O'Connor just confirmed what we all suspected: this was a coordinated cover-up to hide the truth about Joe Biden's condition--and who's really been running the show behind the scenes," said Rep. William Timmons (R-S.C.) posted on X.

A spokesperson for Biden's office declined to comment.

Congress can grant this scumbag criminal immunity for his testimony, in which case he can no longer plead the Fifth. I hope this is what they do.

FBI Now Investigating John Brennan and James Comey for Crimes Including Perjury and... Conspiracy

No one is above the law.

That's what you said, right? You said "no one is above the law," right?

CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred evidence of wrongdoing by Brennan to FBI Director Kash Patel for potential prosecution, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital.

The sources said that the referral was received and told Fox News Digital that a criminal investigation into Brennan was opened and is underway. DOJ sources declined to provide further details. It is unclear, at this point, if the investigation spans beyond his alleged false statements to Congress.

As for Comey, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital that an investigation into the former director is underway, but could not share details of what specifically is being probed.

The full scope of the criminal investigations into Brennan and Comey is unclear, but two sources described the FBI's view of the duo's interactions as a "conspiracy," which could open up a wide range of potential prosecutorial options.

A lot of J6ers spent years in jail for Conspiring to Parade.

...

The Brennan investigation comes after Ratcliffe last week declassified a "lessons learned" review of the creation of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA). The 2017 ICA alleged Russia sought to influence the 2016 presidential election to help then-candidate Donald Trump. But the review found that the process of the ICA's creation was rushed with "procedural anomalies," and that officials diverted from intelligence standards.

It also determined that the "decision by agency heads to include the Steele Dossier in the ICA ran counter to fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment."

The dossier -- an anti-Trump document filled with unverified and wholly inaccurate claims that was commissioned by Fusion GPS and paid for by Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign and the DNC -- has been widely discredited. Last week's review marks the first time career CIA officials have acknowledged politicization of the process by which the ICA was written, particularly by Obama-era political appointees.

Records declassified as part of that review further revealed that Brennan did, in fact, push for the dossier to be included in the 2017 ICA.

Brennan testified to the House Judiciary Committee in May 2023, however, that he did not believe the dossier should be included in that intelligence product.

...

The false statements portion of the probe stems from a newly declassified email sent to Brennan by the former deputy CIA director in December 2016. That message said that including the dossier in the ICA in any capacity jeopardized "the credibility of the entire paper."

"Despite these objections, Brennan showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness," the new CIA review states. "When confronted with specific flaws in the Dossier by the two mission center leaders -- one with extensive operational experience and the other with a strong analytic background -- he appeared more swayed by the Dossier's general conformity with existing theories than by legitimate tradecraft concerns."

The review added: "Brennan ultimately formalized his position in writing, stating that 'my bottomline is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report.'"

But Brennan testified the opposite in front of Congress in May 2023.

Happy Wednesday!

Wednesday Morning Rant

mannixape2.jpg

Flows

The unprecedented peacetime migration that kicked off in earnest when the world ended in 2020 is not without consequence. Initially, the coverage of the migration was largely centered around changes in employment and consequences for "the future of work." A lot of people quit their jobs from 2020-2022 and moved on - so many that this period has been dubbed "The Great Resignation" by Anthony Klotz of the University College (London) - a term immediately glommed onto by the press. Setting aside the huge churn in the employment market, the real consequence was not the moving on from jobs, but the moving away from home.

Starting last year, the effects of our great migration have finally started to pick up some press notice. Newsweek covered the internal trends of declines in California and New York. On Independence Day, Legal Insurrection covered the demographic trend of Illinois' decline, noting that it's the young who are fleeing more than other groups. The states experiencing the greatest outflows are in for a rough time if the trend doesn't reverse - and it doesn't look to be reversing.

The Morning Report — 7/9/25

ComeTalwani.jpg

Good morning kids, As the rescue, recovery and repair efforts continue in flood-ravaged Texas, New Mexico now has been hit with severe flash-flooding and a state of emergency declared there. Prayers for all affected.

On a positive note, the Supreme Court handed President Trump another major victory

The Supreme Court on Tuesday overturned a lower court’s pause on President Trump’s efforts to downsize the federal government through mass firings at various agencies. . . “Because the Government is likely to succeed on its argument that the Executive Order and Memorandum are lawful — and because the other factors bearing on whether to grant a stay are satisfied — we grant the application,” the Supreme Court order stated. . . Meanwhile, Sotomayor noted that she agreed with Jackson that Trump “cannot restructure federal agencies in a manner inconsistent with congressional mandates,” but indicated its too early to determine if the administration plans to downsize the federal workforce in a manner that is unlawful.

“The plans themselves are not before this Court, at this stage, and we thus have no occasion to consider whether they can and will be carried out consistent with the constraints of law,” Sotomayor wrote, concurring with the majority. “I join the Court’s stay because it leaves the District Court free to consider those questions in the first instance.”

No, it's not the final word and if these two despicable thugs are still on the bench for the final ruling, it's no mystery that they will vote to preserve protect and defend the almighty State. But still, for now, it's a victory with a TBD as to whether it will be Pyrrhic. That said the utter lawlessness continues unabated as this next story shows:

If you thought the judicial coup against the Trump administration couldn’t get any more egregious than it already is, think again.

On Monday, District Judge Indira Talwani took it upon herself to try and unilaterally block a provision from legislation passed by Congress to defund Planned Parenthood. Through the use of a temporary restraining order, or TRO, the Obama appointee (and Democrat donor) declared that the Trump administration cannot enforce a provision of the recently passed reconciliation bill that prevents Medicaid funding from going to entities run by the nation’s largest abortion provider.

So, a law is legally passed in both chambers of Congress and is signed into law by the President of the United States, and some degenerate black-robed communist shit-whore wog just declares it null and void. And as I merely ponder the notion of ropes and lamp posts, this madness continues:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported that a San Antonio City Council candidate called for the shooting of ICE agents on the streets of Los Angeles. The threat by the self-described Democrat political consultant comes as ICE agents are increasingly assaulted, and a Border Patrol station in Texas came under attack from a gunman.DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin posted on social media that San Antonio City Council Candidate Matthew Gauna called for the killing of ICE agents in Los Angeles. “I wanna see a few dead ICE agents Los Angeles! Don’t let me down.”

Thought experiment ONLY: What do you suppose would happen to me if I went on social media and implored people to find this Guano bastard and burn his house down along with DNC headquarters. Don't let me down America! Don't let me down."

This comes on the direct violent assault on ICE agents and other LE agents elsewhere and for a mass attack in Alvarado TX. Now, what do you think is going to happen to this sick, filthy, evil Democrat , sorry for the quadruple redundancy there. No doubt he'll get elected. And San Antonio is not necessarily reflective of Texas, or how we would like to believe Texas is and will always remain. Or Heaven forbid not.

Democrat power in California rests on that mixture of cronyism, corruption and illegal aliens.

Indeed, California is a prime example of a state where political power is built around illegal aliens. Whether or not the illegals actually vote in any number matters less than whether they’re counted for ‘ghost’ districts filled with non-citizens. California’s millions of illegal aliens represent local, statewide and congressional seats that give the Democrats a total lock on power.

The state lost a congressional seat because its population only grew from 37.3 million to 39.5 million. How many congressional seats would California lose without its illegal alien population?

Subtract even the most liberal number of illegal aliens and California would lose 4 seats (in addition to the one it already lost) bringing its congressional delegation down to 48 seats. That would be bad news for efforts by the Democrats to retake the House, but it would also cut California’s power in the electoral college and would make it harder for the Dems to win presidential elections. That is why they’re willing to risk civil war for illegals.

The title and subhead of the aforementioned Daniel Greenfield essay is

Why Dems Are Fighting a Civil War Over Illegal Aliens — Without Illegals, Republicans would control the country.

You could've stopped right there but it's not a long essay and as always with Greenfield, worthy of a read.

The latest podcast should be going live a later today so be on the lookout for that.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Have a great day!

The documents show that USAID funded the exportation of 11,000 samples from Yunnan Province, where some of the closest relatives of the COVID-19 virus circulate, to Wuhan, the epicenter of the pandemic, with no apparent plan for ensuring the samples were not misdirected to bioweapons and remained accessible to the U.S. government.

Daily Tech News 9 July 2025

Top Story

  • Yesterday I noted that Twitter was taking steps to make its AI chatbot, Grok, "less politically correct".

It looks instead of making it 5% more Hitler, they dialed it up to 500%. (Tech Crunch)

For a few hours it sounded like a cross between Heinrich Himmler and the Ayatollah Khamenei, or a moderate Democrat.

Twitter has been cleaning up the mess and Grok is back to normal now, which for a chatbot means remarkably useless and only not dangerous because nobody trusts it for anything.

Nevermind the clown head and windmill. These scoundrels have upgraded to full-scale agricultural hazards.

Good evening and welcome to the Tuesday ONT. We had a bit of a de-lurking thread last week. Wouldn't you know it, several brave souls took the plunge and pressed the enter key - and it was fun. If you are lurking tonight, toss in a comment or four and enjoy the chaos from the other side of the monitor (or phone screen).
