Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 7/10 /25![]() But in a related story, as I will attempt to elucidate if you bear with me, at least this will make you smile: Violent demonstrations against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations broke out near a courthouse in downtown San Francisco, California, on Tuesday. Video of the protest shows far-left demonstrators attempting to interfere with federal immigration enforcement action by barring the path of an ICE van and climbing onto its hood.At least two demonstrators can be seen in the video clinging to the ICE vehicle as it attempts to drive away, with one person falling off and another holding on as the van swerves sharply. Protesters, many wearing masks and keffiyehs, were also seen engaging in physical altercations with federal agents. “Holy f***ing s**t, frightening times, right?” a demonstrator can be heard exclaiming in the video before adding: “What the f**k have we gotten ourselves into?”Meanwhile, another protester who spoke with local San Francisco media, identified only as “Sorin,” stated that see was injured while attempting to block an ICE vehicle. “I was bleeding everywhere,” she said, adding: “They were brutal to those of us trying to exercise our rights and protect our community.”Good. "What the fuck have we gotten ourselves into?!" Helluva time to wake up, Genius! Now lick your wounds, and take it like a man (as perhaps your cellmate in D-Block will tell you as he bends you over in the prison shower). If only that would be the fate of John Brennan, James Comey (pronounced Cummy) and Clapper. Alas, At the very least as CBD and I pondered in the latest episode of the podcast,(linked here, in the sidebar and at the usual outlets noted below the exposure of their treasonous treachery will forever stain them and stand as a warning for future generations of a revived America. So, As Debbie Wasserman Schultz contemplates why no one condemns Zohran Mamdani and the turn that her Party is taking, and searches for a jackhammer to attempt to remove the encrusted godzilla semen from her hair, curious that she is not equally curious why no one, and not least of which her in this case, is condemning the attacks on ICE. Is there a greater danger to a constitutional republic than an armed phalanx of nihilists, activated by the words of the leaders of the minority party, attempting to maim and kill government officials? For all their sanctimony about “protecting democracy” and “upholding the rule of law,” today’s Democrats have built a movement that selectively nullifies both. When they’re in power, they ignore the law, declining to enforce statutes they dislike, gutting immigration courts, and instructing executive agencies to slow-walk deportations. When out of power, they attempt to nullify the exercise of executive power through venue shopping, nationwide injunctions, institutional sabotage, and now, through ideological violence. It’s the same pattern every time: If voters elect someone they oppose, they launch impeachment proceedings or shop for a judge to block authority. If ICE agents do their jobs, they are branded as racists. If a president uses Article II powers to enforce the border, they call it fascism. It’s nullification by any means necessary—ballots, bench, or bullets. The difference between the Democrat party and the Jacobins is increasingly that of wardrobe and weaponry. The Democrats have spent years stoking this fire. They wrap their bombast in the language of compassion—but it’s calculated sabotage, and they know it.Lurker Extraordinaire, and Ace Cruetly Fanboi, Prof. Victor Davis Hanson states in his eloquent and accurate essay . . . Unmoored from power and panicked by Trump’s momentum, the left lashes out—from Congress to campus to the street—with rage born of fear and fading influence. For sure, Trump's successes are a major factor in the lashing out by the Left we are witnessing. But Trump's policy successes hold up a mirror and serve to underscore the Democrat/Left's abject failures and destruction that have been going on for decades. And that is the real danger to the Democrats, it is an existential threat to their future as more and more people are awakened to this fact: that all of the pain, misery, suffering and waste of life and potential for well over 200 years is all the fault of the Democrat Party and the Leftist movement. Perhaps like the hapless bruised and baterred Antifa dupe above, more and more average Democrat voters are saying to themselves in their own quiet way "What the Fuck Have We Gotten Ourselves Into?!" Trump, and please God a growing and unstoppable movement of American revival and renaissance that he started when he came down that escalator 10 years ago will eradicate Leftist progressivism and last until America's Quincentenary in 2276 and beyond. Amen. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day!

====================== VDH is on to something, but that last part may be too mildly stated. I think "impotence" is better than fading influence, impotence in the face of pitched battles against specific policies the left hates. They've failed to gain any popular traction so far, and it's killing them. They're left hating PDJT personally, because they convince themselves his personal political strength keeps the policies alive. I can understand the historical attraction of Jews to the Democratic party. Most Jews emigrating to the US came from Eastern Europe and Russia, where pogroms, poverty and discrimination were rampant. Without a kind of mutual aid, their lot would have been even worse. But that's not the Democratic party of today. First the FBI/DOJ has to slip some salacious gossip to a friendly news outlet, the friendly news outlet reports it, which in turn the FBI/DOJ use to justify opening a counter intelligence operation/investigation, which in turn allows them to get a FISA warrant, which lets them surveil them and every one connected to the, then they determine that all of their lawyers are part of the criminal conspiracy which removes ACP, that lets them surveil their attorneys, and you keep this up for half a decade bankrupting them and everyone connected to them. One notable parallel that is astonishing to me (not really) is the “intelligentsia” and all the right people branded Whittiker Chambers as an uncultured boor at the time. Alger Hiss was an urbane sophisticate you see. He couldn’t possibly be a Communist, you see.
There is a recurring theme in US politics, certainly the Department of State among others, where they invariably choose the wrong side, and destabilize. Start wars, it would seem. And anyone not on the “Full Speed Ahead” bandwagon gets the Treatment. It might be relatively benign at first, but they will be eliminated one way or another. I see the parallels with Donny J. “Two Scoops” Trump, President type, 1 ea. All the urbane sophisticates, the “usual suspects” had knives out for him from the start. Exact. Same. Playbook. Nor was FDR's attitude toward Jews anything exceptional in America.

MAGA literally wants to deport Mandami, so of course DSA focuses on fighting Democrats Wouldn't it be nice if the DSA wasn't completely silent about MAGA? Most Dems are congratulating Mandami and fighting MAGA. As usual DSA cannot be bothered to admit MAGA is a threat. They have no interest in opposing Republicans, just Democrats. The young want anti war candidates, and Mamdami had over 50,000 volunteers. He had an unprecedented volunteer campaign. Mamdani's policy positions should be the Democratic baseline. Compare this to Scott Bessant, a superior administrator and leader. The rest of the cabinet seem to understand how to run their departments to serve the President.
Posted by: Ordinary American at July 10, 2025 08:14 AM (WHfpM) No. Kash, especially has walked the walk. The "problem" is that they are at the tip of the spear now, and so to do their job a certain amount of deception is required, as is the case in all war. I sincerely believe that neither of those two like to lie to the public like this, and it is making them testy. If nothing seems to be happening, it's because what's really going on is massive, and they can't afford to tip anybody off. Massive operations don't happen overnight. Next time Trump has a televised cabinet meeting, tune in to it. It's mind-numbing in how banal they can be, but it's very interesting in where people are seated and what they feel is important enough to bring up in that setting. Obviously it's mostly run-of-the-mill stuff and nothing classified... however occasionally someone will let slip a tid-bit of juicy information.
There was some shuffling of seat assignments for this last meeting. That can be, but isn't always an indication of "who's in and who's out" in the administration. On the Ukraine, maybe Putin (who is really am anti-Globalist ally) is getting out of line, and it's a negotiation. Trump has suddenly pulled back on sending things to Ukraine before. As it is, he's been handing victory to Putin, because he knows Z will never seek peace.
Again, its not our (meaning the West's) fight. This is a lovers quarrel that has been going on for centuries. Z is a fraud puppet that was installed by the Deep State for the benefit of Bankers, MIC, Globalists et al. As we saw with CoViD, death is part of the kink, so when Trump says No More Deaths, the DS is taking that personally since that is what they want. What pisses me off is that the US only makes 500 Patriot missiles a year, and many of those were cooked off in defense of US's foreign bases due to Israel's spat with Iran (that somehow I have to underwrite both sides of the fight). Trump is emptying the US's ability to defend itself by giving that corrupt dictator Z the ability to keep the war going and kiling more people. No, it isn’t that “we” don’t care. Most Americans care a great deal about a great many things.
But we’ve been beaten down and demoralized, for decades now, where nothing ever happens to the perpetrators. Congress might have a hearing or two, yell at some DEI hire for an hour or two, and then it’s business as usual. “We Shall Never Speak Of This Again”. This is part of a deliberate strategy by the way. It is not a matter of incompetence per se. It is a conditioning process, a method of managing expectations. Normalize corruption and decline. “This is normal and nothing can ever be done about it”. What are you gonna do about it? Very effective. Posted by: Common Tater at July 10, 2025 08:34 AM (iZHkp) 192

It reminds me of when Rush tried to warn his listeners that nothing ever would or could come of Trump's "Lock Her Up" campaign rhetoric... there are promises that, if ever made flesh, would destroy the American government, and nobody is going to go there. Not yet, anyway. Those cases are examples of why I also say that the swamp can't be drained, and meaningful reform of the Deep State is impossible - the Deep State is *the* State. And, as always - the problem isn't that the system is corrupt, it's that corruption is the system. To reform it is to destroy it, and Trump doesn't want to be the President who buried the Republic. No ones mentioning it, because I don’t think it matters much, but the idea that an Arab led army could move against the Houthi is laughable. The “official” Yemeni government’s army has collapsed; the Saudis tried for a couple years and gave up when they failed miserably as well. They’re not going to try that again.

Well, a democrat AG would have run guns to Mexico, shot up a few ranches out west, fire bombed a religious cult and deported a Cuban child or two by now all the while droning a few Americans overseas they didn't like and investigating a few congressman for blackmail information and making examples of them with a few zero dark thirty no knock raids.

But, when you hear anyone saying they'll drain the swamp or take out the Deep State, please understand that's just chumming for voters, and it won't be happening. Think of it this way: Giuliani and other Fed prosecutors said "we're out to destroy the Italian mafia," and they did. Now, imagine if they'd said "we're out to reform the Italian mafia, and turn them into productive, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens." That would be ludicrous. It could never work. Trust me that there are sentiment reading web crawlers out there that go through active opinion websites to gauge public sentiment on pretty much any topic. If political consultants need to know the public's feeling on some matter, they will pump some stupid articles out in the usual channels, then wait out the public sensitivity to the "outrage" or policy and then have the webcrawlers vacuum up comments and through algorithms determine intensity, depth, and "legs" on an issue. Some time later, you will see the fallout of this analysis in public policy changes or tuning. So yes, bitching on this and other websites is better than writing letters that are instantly tossed into the burn pile after they get the name and address of the malcontent so that it can either be sent to campaign money hustlers, or to a watch list. You gratuitously added the "revenge" part, I want motivated people, and Trump for the most part has selected them. Homan, RFK, Tulsi, Hegseth and others. They are good at their jobs because they believe in the vision and know how much they and others have been screwed by the previous administrations. They view their roles as a Mission. I have no idea what Bondi, Patel or Bongino see in their respective roles. Bongino hinted that it was a form of "duty". Everybody wants things to be one way, when they're another way... in this case, some people want Bondi, et. al. to be straight shooters, so they'll gobble up their slop and believe in the latest phase of this cover up. Others wanted them to be straight shooters who'd blow the lid off this cover up, and gobbled up that slop and believed it, and are now disillusioned.

---------- In my comment upthread about Trump's cabinet meetings I noted where people sit in relationship to Trump. It's a classic "boss move" to put people you trust near your seat at the head of the table. Bondi was seated across from Trump in previous meetings. In this last cabinet meeting she was seated to his right, next to SoS Rubio. It's a better seat for her to be recorded by the media. Previously the media, and their cameras were behind Bondi, and it was awkward for her to turn around, so you saw the back of her head when she spoke. The only way that the BATFE could get in on the Jan 6th Agency orgy of framing MAGA people was the "E" for explosives. The reason you haven't heard squat about the Jan 5/6 bomber is that he was a government contractor working for the BATFE, and to expose him would blow up the entire agency.

In the grand scheme of things Epstein being absolved isn’t a big deal. But the huge deal is the trust in Trump that will be chiseled away from this.
For a lot of people this is a big deal. It’s been a big deal. They were promised action from Trump, Bondi, Bingino, Patel. And then they basically said nah bruh we were lying to you, now please go away. That’s how you lose people. It’s like that saying the coverup is worse than the crime. Candy maker Ferrero is buying cereal giant WK Kellogg for $3.1 billion. WK Kellogg, which makes cereals such as Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes, spun off into a standalone company in 2023.
Kellogg's was split into two companies on October 2, 2023, with WK Kellogg Co owning the North American cereal division, and the existing company being rebranded to "Kellanova", owning snack brands such as Pop-Tarts and Pringles alongside the international cereal division. The purpose of the split was to separate the faster-growing convenience food, and international cereal products market, from the slower growth North American cereal market. But I've voted for him in every statewide race, and I'll be doing so again this time. He's no more distasteful than politicians in general, he could hardly be more corrupt than Cornyn (who is a uniparty deep stater through and through), and he seems to actually be interested in fighting to advance conservative causes. "It's the Propagandists telling the idiot what to think"
Here's the thing: They don't think. It's that simple. They just spit out what they are taught are the correct answers the same way they got passing grades in HS. There's no critical analysis done. No correlation for consistency. No attempt to reconcile with possible first principles. No depth, no compulsion. This is why they consistently appear to be hypocrites. What they "think" is more like an opinion of what they believe will get them approval of their group at that time. Posted by: pawn at July 10, 2025 09:34 AM (QB+5g) 398
A federal appeals court just threw out a new government regulation that would have required subscription services to give consumers an easy way to cancel. The Federal Trade Commission’s click-to-cancel rule was set to take effect next week, and would have required everything from your gym membership to Amazon Prime subscription to let customers cancel their recurring payments as easily as they signed up, and through the same method. Last fall, industry groups representing companies that benefit from subscription revenue — including cable providers, entertainment studios, advertising companies, and home security firms — sought to block the rule in court.

The criticism would have had more merit had Kasich not helped to worsen the nation’s fiscal woes during his tenure as governor. By publicly promoting Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion to able-bodied adults, Kasich helped to create the problem that the reconciliation bill begins to address.
=================== It was worse than that. The state legislature voted down Medicaid expansion and Kasich implemented it using Executive Order. He is entirely personally responsible for it, at least in Ohio, the POS. Posted by: Huck Follywood at July 10, 2025 09:39 AM (UVJ0A) 400

For spellcasting, Lord Meduza is the right person to turn to. My girlfriend left me for another man due to my financial situation, but after connecting with Lord Meduza, he created a spell that not only brought my girlfriend back but also made me a lottery winner of €116 million by providing me with the 6 lucky numbers. Everything feels almost unreal but I assure you this is genuine and it's occurring. My life is incredibly beautiful and I owe my deepest appreciation to Lord Meduza as his efforts are the epitome of excellence..
