Corrupt Judge Who Bought His Judgeship By Shoveling Millions to Biden and the Democrat Party Refuses to Recuse Himself Despite Having a Financial Interest in Keeping the Phony Grant Grift Going

So many surprises and plot twists that I'm having trouble keeping up.

Judge's Failure To Recuse Himself From Trump Spending Freeze Case Shows How Court Is Rigged

A nonprofit board member himself, Judge McConnell has a motive to keep federal funding flowing to nonprofits.

Beth Brelje

Judge John McConnell, chief judge of the federal district court of Rhode Island, has such a deep conflict of interest in one of the Trump Administration's spending freeze cases that it is obvious he should have recused himself. His continued involvement in the case is another sign that the court system is rigged, leaving the majority of U.S. citizens who voted for President Donald Trump's policies watching lawfare instead of seeing progress.

When the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) told federal department heads in January to place a temporary pause on grant, loan, and other financial assistance programs, the left rushed to court to fight it. The OMB wanted to assure taxpayer money was not going to support programs promoting diversity equity and inclusion (DEI), woke gender ideology, and the Green New Deal.

In this case, a group of 22 states and the District of Columbia went to court calling the administration's freeze on federal funding unconstitutional. McConnell ordered the administration to unfreeze the funds and the administration is now appealing.

...

McConnell has held an 18-year leadership role in Crossroads Rhode Island, a $31 million nonprofit that gets over half its funding from federal money. It received more than $18 million in 2023 according to its tax exempt 990 form, first reported by researchers at America First Legal (AFL).

McConnell is a member of the board of directors for Crossroads Rhode Island. Founded in 1894 as The Travelers Aid Committee of the YWCA, Crossroads now builds and manages low income housing. Much of its funding comes through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

AFL reported Crossroads Rhode Island received more than $128 million in federal and state funding by way of federal funding during McConnell's time on the board.

Helping the poor is lucrative when the taxpayers foot the bill. In 2023, Crossroads Rhode Island's highest paid employee was then-CEO Karen Santilli, who earned almost $374,000 including base salary and deferred compensation, the nonprofit's tax exempt 990 form shows. Santilli has since left Crossroads Rhode Island to become the CEO of the YMCA of Greater Providence.

...

Is it for housing? No. The grant money is quite flexible. According USAspending.gov, the money is for "economic development initiative, community project funding, and miscellaneous grants."

It may be used "to provide investment in a wide variety of projects such as housing, homelessness prevention, workforce training, public facilities, parks, resilience planning and other critical infrastructure and services," according to the federal grant guide book.

...

As a board member on for Crossroads Rhode Island, which has partnered with One Neighborhood Builders, McConnell had a clear motive to keep federal funding flowing. AFL notes two federal laws McConnell appears to have ignored.

One requires judges to disqualify themselves if there is even an appearance that their impartiality might be questioned.

The law also "requires judges to disqualify themselves when they are a fiduciary or have any other interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding." AFL posted on X.

It does not take a law degree to see McConnell should recuse himself from this case.

This is the guy who essentially purchased his judgeship. Democrats are no longer hiding their Tamany Hall corruption any longer.

Meanwhile, in a closely related Fake Lawsuit, the Supreme Court sent a case back to corrupt Democrat judge. The judge had ordered Trump to pay out $2 billion despite the elected president's decision to cancel these grift-grants. The Supreme Court declined to overrule the judge, but did send the case back, instructing the judge to be more precise about how much of the $2 billion he believed must be spent.

The judge appears to have blown this order off completely, and has just re-demanded Trump to pay out the $2 billion in grift money by Monday.

The Supreme Court plainly envisioned this judge would re-examine his decision and narrow it. Nope, the corrupt hack said YOLO and just issued the same order again, this time with a 48 hour deadline.

Is this what the Supreme Court had in mind when instructing Judge Amir Ali to proceed with his TRO ordering payment to USAID groups "with due regard for the feasibility of any compliance timelines"? Two business days?

...

So why Monday? Two possibilities come to mind, and they are definitely not mutually exclusive. First, Ali might want to prevent another appeal of this order from reaching the Supreme Court again, where he knows four justices want another crack at this case. Second, Ali may want to punish the Trump administration for challenging him as well as cutting this spending, and is setting them up for a failure which will allow Ali to assess punitive damages and other sanctions when compliance can't be achieved.

That may be why Ali is holding off on the specifics on the amounts and recipients, too, although that's more of a hindrance than an obstacle to appeal. They will need the full order before taking this to the DC Circuit court of appeals, which tried to slow-walk the last appeal before John Roberts reached down and grabbed it out of frustration. This time, the DoJ may appeal to both levels concurrently, especially since it's clear that Ali is defying the Supreme Court order to consider the "feasibility of compliance timelines" with another absurd deadline for payment. That should come back before the court that issued the instruction, and again, at least four justices would agree.

Will Chamberlain of the Article III project explained how lawless this ruling was. The grant grifters claimed that Trump was violating their contract with the government.

But contract disputes with the government are not brought to district courts. The federal government has sovereign immunity, and does not grant permission to sue them. The federal government does allow lawsuits, but not in Article III courts, but instead in executive courts, specifically Federal Claims Courts.

Amy Coney Barrett and Roberts refused to simply tell this judge, who has been on the job for a single month, that he had no jurisdiction. Instead, they continue to play pussyfoot with the #Resistance.

John Podesta Handed Out $375 BILLION In Taxpayer Dollars to "Pop Up" Organizations Created Only Months Before

People need to go to prison for 40 years for this.

$375B EPA slush fund handled by John Podesta gave billions to charities founded only months earlier

The Biden administration funneled at least $20 billion dollars into environmental groups, most of which had only recently been founded, The Post has discovered.

In one case, former Vice President Kamala Harris handed over a check for nearly $7 billion to Bethesda, Maryland, based group Climate United Fund, which does not appear in the IRS's charities database, and has no federal filings.

The non-profit fund had only been incorporated in Delaware on November 30, 2023, according to public records, five months before Harris handed over the cash in April 2024.

The Climate United Fund then announced "the historic investment" in a press release, noting the group's work "delivers benefits like cleaner air...and increased energy security."'

However, because the company is so new, there is no publicly published accounting of how it plans to spend the $7 billion.

The literal hundreds of billions of dollars were given to "pop up" NGOs started by Democrat cronies. Then these NGOs handed some of the money off to other groups.

Of course, all of the middlemen took their cut of the $375 billion first. Mafia bosses get to dip their beaks, you know.

...

"Ethically speaking, it's concerning," said Laurie Styron, CEO of Charity Watch, an independent charity watchdog group.

"What was the purpose of creating middlemen entities when there are so many established groups in the climate space with good track records? What was the value-added in [by] doing it this way, especially with such large sums of taxpayer funds?"

The cash for the charity came from a huge $370 billion climate slush fund of taxpayer money overseen by John Podesta, a political consultant who was chair of Hillary Clinton's failed 2016 bid for president and White House chief of staff to Bill Clinton.

Of course. Of course. How could it be otherwise?

In 2022, President Joe Biden named Podesta to helm the climate fund, which resulted from the Inflation Reduction Act, a 2022 law that was aimed at combatting climate change and creating clean energy.

Last year, EPA advisor Brent Efron was caught on video describing how the agency hastily parceled out a related $20 billion climate fund that was held by Citibank before the end of the Biden administration.

"Get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in ... it's like we're on the Titanic and we're throwing gold bars off the edge," he said in video posted online by activist group Project Veritas.

All of Biden's "Laws" and Executive Orders Were Signed by Autopen (Robotic Signature Duplicator), Putting Biden's Entire Presidency in Question

The headline is wrong: There was one single thing he actually signed, his notice that he was withdrawing from the 2024 race.

Everything else was signed by the Biden staffers' Electronic President Substitute.

The Biden presidency might have been the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the American people. A shocking investigation by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project has revealed that virtually every document bearing Joe Biden's signature during his presidency was signed by an autopen -- except for one.

What makes this revelation particularly damning is that the only document confirmed to have Biden's actual signature was his letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. Let that sink in for a moment.

Remember when House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed his discussion with Biden when Biden couldn't recall signing the executive order halting LNG exports? Now we know why -- he probably didn't. The real question is: Who did? Who was running the country while Biden was not all there?

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey isn't letting this slide. He's demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether Biden's obvious cognitive decline allowed unelected bureaucrats to essentially run the government without presidential oversight. If this is true -- and let's be honest, all signs point to yes -- every executive order, every pardon, and every official action taken under Biden's name could be constitutionally void.

Bailey's letter to Michael E. Horowitz, the Inspector General of the Department of Justice, spells it out perfectly.

I write to request that you conduct a full investigation into President Biden's mental capacity in his final days in office. By now, Biden's mental decline is famous. Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power. Instead, it appears staffers and officers in the Biden administration may have exploited Biden's incapacity so they could issue orders without an accountable President of sound mind approving them. That would explain why the Biden administration's orders were aggressively much farther to the left than any previous President. If in fact Biden's staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void.

See the link for more.

I have no idea what happens in this situation.

As Terror-Supporting Foreign Savages Riot on College Campuses, Marco Rubio Announces "Catch and Deport" Program to Eject Lawless Islamists from Country

Finally.

From John Sexton at Hot Air, terror sympathizer radicals are taking over libraries and making threats while wearing masks.

The pro-Hamas students at Barnard College are at it again. For those who missed the backstory, here it is. Last week this group, which is called CUAD, occupied an administrative building to protest the expulsion days earlier of two of their fellow activists. The expulsion was in response to a classroom disruption that happened on the first day of the semester.

In an effort to get the school to reverse course on the expulsions, CUAD demanded a meeting with Barnard President Laura Ann Rosenbury. And after hours of chanting and drumming that disrupted classes in the building, they agreed to a meeting the following day. But that meeting never happened. President Rosenbury said she would only sit down with three representatives from the group if they removed their masks. They refused. And then she expelled another student over a building takeover that happened last spring.

Unlike some other university administrators, President Rosenbury seems to be taking a harder line. Monday she wrote an opinion piece for the Chronicle of Higher Education titled "When Student Protest Goes Too Far."

On the first day of classes this January, four masked individuals threatened both our educational mission and our community by disrupting a History of Modern Israel course at Columbia in which several Barnard students were enrolled. This disruption was not designed to expand thinking or advance civil discourse. Instead, it was a calculated act of intimidation, with the disruptors taunting and loudly speaking over the professor, distributing antisemitic flyers, and refusing to join the discussion even when the professor graciously invited them to sit in on the class.

This wasn't an isolated incident but an escalation of an ongoing threat to our community. Over the last year and a half, an unauthorized group of anonymous individuals calling themselves Columbia University Apartheid Divest have exploited the conflict in the Middle East to try to tear our campus community -- our Barnard home -- apart.

They operate in the shadows, hiding behind masks and Instagram posts with Molotov cocktails aimed at Barnard buildings, antisemitic tropes about wealth, influence, and "Zionist billionaires," and calls for violence and disruption at any cost. They claim Columbia University's name, but the truth is, because their members wear masks, no one really knows whose interests they serve.

See the link for more. Rosenbury says that, despite the criminals wearing masks, they're identifying the jihadists.

The Free Beacon just identified six of the radicals.

Nearly half the radical activists arrested Wednesday after storming a Barnard College library are Columbia University students, a Washington Free Beacon review found.

Of the nine individuals arrested after storming Millstein Library, four are Columbia students: Gabrielle Wimer, Hannah Puelle, Yunseo Chung, and Symmes Cannon. One, Tramy Dong, is a Barnard student. Another, Christopher Holmes, attends Union Theological Seminary, a Columbia affiliate, while the remaining three appear unassociated with either school. They were charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, and obstructing governmental administration, according to an NYPD spokesman.

Barnard president Laura Ann Rosenbury, however, stressed that the police weren't called in because the radicals stormed Milstein Library. Rather, she felt the building needed to be cleared to protect the broader student body because of a bomb threat in the building.

The radicals rushed in through a back exit that an accomplice held open, hoisted an effigy of Rosenbury, and passed out Hamas propaganda. They refused to leave, even after they were alerted of the bomb threat. Law enforcement eventually cleared the agitators from the library, but the protesters refused to clear the courtyard outside and clashed with police. Officers began making arrests.

...

Barnard's vice president for development and alumnae relations Michael Farley, however, in a statement claimed that "none of the individuals arrested on our campus Wednesday evening are Barnard students." It is unclear if Dong was one of the two students the college expelled for storming an Israeli history class at Columbia in January and targeting Jewish students with anti-Semitic flyers. Barnard did not respond to a request for comment.

The radicals stormed Barnard's Milbank Hall last week to protest those expulsions. A third Barnard student was expelled soon after for storming a Columbia building last spring. The agitators behind Wednesday's incident demanded the reversal of all three.

A mob led by Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) and Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)--the Ivy League institution's most anti-Semitic student groups--stormed Barnard's Milbank Hall on Feb. 26, sending a security guard to the hospital and causing $30,000 in damages. CUAD and SJP also took credit for orchestrating Wednesday's incident at the Milstein Library.

Once inside, the agitators handed out Hamas propaganda justifying the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack. They demanded the immediate reversal of the Barnard students' expulsions, "amnesty for all students disciplined for pro-Palestine action," and a complete "abolition of the corrupt Barnard disciplinary process." They also renamed the library after Hussam Abu Safiya, a Gaza hospital director the Israel Defense Forces accused of being a terrorist and holding a rank in Hamas.

Even though the agitators voted to stay overnight, until Rosenbury returned to campus in the morning, a bomb threat reported in the building forced Barnard vice president for strategic communications Robin Levine to try to evacuate the library. She told students, "You need to leave now, this is not a joke," but the protesters refused to vacate the building, telling her, "you're lying" and "prove it."

Fox News:

The New York Police Department took multiple protesters into custody at Barnard College late Wednesday after students occupied the school library to protest the expulsion of three students.

On Wednesday evening, the NYPD was called to the Milstein Center on the prestigious campus after a bomb threat and hours of anti-Israel agitators demonstrating inside the campus building.

...

The protests came after the New York City-based university took disciplinary action against anti-Israel agitators who broke into Hamilton Hall at Columbia University's New York City campus in April 2024.

The Columbia University Apartheid Divest group said in a news release Monday that Barnard College, which is part of Columbia University, expelled three students.

One student was expelled for participating in the occupation last April, while another was suspended for their involvement. Barnard also expelled two students for disrupting a class called the "History of Modern Israel." The duo allegedly wore headscarves to hide their faces when they ran into the classroom and threw antisemitic pamphlets around the room.

"Under federal law, we cannot comment on the academic and disciplinary records of students. That said, as a matter of principle and policy, Barnard will always take decisive action to protect our community as a place where learning thrives, individuals feel safe, and higher education is celebrated," Barnard President Laura Rosenbury said in a statement. "This means upholding the highest standards and acting when those standards are threatened.

In a statement, Columbia University leadership said the latest campus disruption "is not acceptable conduct."

Now comes the turn: Trump and Rubio have had it with foreign agent "students" intimidating other students (Jewish students in particular) and breaking American law. Probably at the behest of foreign governments and/or terror groups.

BREAKING: Per a senior State Department official, yesterday, the State Dept. revoked the first visa for an "alien who was previously cited for criminal behavior in connection with Hamas-supporting disruptions".

I'm told this person was a university student, and "ICE will proceed with removing this person from the country."

The official says the State Dept. reviewed over 100,000 visas, and records showed the Biden administration canceled zero visas for pro Hamas activities or associated criminal behavior, despite the wave of protests on college campuses that broke out after the 10/7/2023 terror attacks on Israel.

Secretary Marco Rubio
@SecRubio

Those who support designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas, threaten our national security. The United States has zero tolerance for foreign visitors who support terrorists. Violators of U.S. law -- including international students -- face visa denial or revocation, and deportation.

Marco Rubio's State Department will execute a "Catch and Revoke" program, deporting foreign terror-supporting radicals engaging in illegal "protests."

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is launching an AI-fueled "Catch and Revoke" effort to cancel the visas of foreign nationals who appear to support Hamas or other designated terror groups, senior State Department officials tell Axios.

Why it matters: The effort -- which includes AI-assisted reviews of tens of thousands of student visa holders' social media accounts -- marks a dramatic escalation in the U.S. government's policing of foreign nationals' conduct and speech.

The reviews of social media accounts are particularly looking for evidence of alleged terrorist sympathies expressed after Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, officials say.

Officials plan to examine internal databases to see whether any visa holders were arrested but allowed to stay in the country during the Biden administration.

They say they're also checking news reports of anti-Israel demonstrations and Jewish students' lawsuits that highlight foreign nationals allegedly engaged in antisemitic activity without consequence.

The State Department is working with the departments of Justice and Homeland Security in what one senior State official called a "whole of government and whole of authority approach."

Update: It gets worse for Columbia.

trumpcancelscolumbiagrants.png

The Free Press:

The Trump administration is cutting off $400 million in federal funding to Columbia University, claiming it has failed to take steps to confront antisemitism on campus after Hamas's October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, The Free Press has learned.

The cuts represent the federal government's first round of grant cancellations for Columbia, according to the administration's newly formed antisemitism task force, which is leading the effort. Columbia has over $5 billion in active federal grants that are being reviewed by the government.

Leo Terrell, the head of the DOJ's antisemitism task force, said the funding cuts are "only the beginning."

"Universities must comply with all federal antidiscrimination laws if they are going to receive federal funding," Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a statement. "For too long, Columbia has abandoned that obligation to Jewish students studying on its campus."

THE MORNING RANT: A Friday Laugh at European Leaders’ Proclaimed Self Reliance

European Leaders pose with Zelensky.JPG

Following the dust-up when President Trump and Vice President Vance slapped down Volodymyr Zelenskyy for coming into the White House to publicly renege on the agreement that was being formalized, and then demanding even more from the US, European leaders comically asserted that they would stand together and go it alone without the United States.

“The Latest: Britain’s Starmer says Europe must take responsibility for defending itself” [AP – 3/02/2025]

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Europe must take responsibility for defending itself as world leaders met in London to discuss working together to stop Russia’s war in Ukraine. Britain hosted the summit Sunday to shore up support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after an astonishing Oval Office meltdown with President Donald Trump that left many uncertain where the once staunch allies stood.

The prospect of not having to subsidize and provide virtually all the defense for our parasitic “allies” caused Americans to enthusiastically embrace Europe’s response. It was one of those “Your terms are acceptable moments.” Of course, we all know that Europe’s ability to provide for its own defense is as laughable as a little boy asserting his independence by running away from home with his belongings tied up in a bindle.

The sad truth, in my opinion, is that Europeans could not take up arms to defend themselves if they had to, nor would they.

It's Friday, so I thought we might out to have a little fun coming up with funny analogs to Europe asserting its self-reliance. Here are three I’ve thought of. I welcome your additional suggestions.

1) Arthur (Dudley Moore) getting cut off from his allowance and coming up with a solution – he’d get a job. At the 1:00 minute mark of this video he brashly (and drunkenly) proclaims, “I’ll get a job! That’s what I’ll do. I’ll get a job. I’ll work! This is going to be great.”

2) David Hogg announcing he was going to start his own pillow company to compete with My Pillow.

The Morning Report — 3/ 7 /25

epsteinSanta.jpg

Good morning kids. It's amusing, meaning disgusting that a political party and movement that has devoted itself for the past 200 years to destroying the Constitution so as to be able to seize absolute power for power's sake or in the name of whatever insane ideology it can hide behind to pretend it gives them a mantle of moral and intellectual high ground to do so, now declares that Donald Trump and the agenda he was overwhelmingly elected to enact puts us in a constitutional crisis.

With the Supreme Court's shameful and naked dereliction of its duty in not slapping down a rogue lower court's usurpation of President Trump's executive authority to cut of billions of dollars to USAID, and in so doing aid and abet in the dismantling of the system of checks and balances.

As I asked yesterday, does Trump have both the administrative wherewithal to physically cut USAID off and freeze its ability to receive and disburse any funds and more crucially, to do so and thereby telling the Judiciary/SCOTUS to go to hell. Beyond Roberts and Coney plus the three other hardcore leftists hack broads, We have individuals in every branch of government and elsewhere who despite taking oaths of office will likely refuse to uphold those oaths out of both ideological reasons and even fear of retribution if they do the right thing in siding with this President Should he fire, that is return the fire of a serious political broadside aimed directly at him, and the Republic.

What I'm getting at is the character and moral fiber not just of individuals in leadership positions but of the scores or even hundreds of those beneath them who are charged with the actual execution of policy. So, whose orders are to be followed and whose are to be ignored? Trump or no Trump, we as a nation, or at least as a government, are coming apart.

So, with that and on top of yesterday's discussion, there's this bit of news and what it might portend:

The Biden [alleged] presidency might have been the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the American people. A shocking investigation by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project has revealed that virtually every document bearing Joe Biden's signature during his presidency was signed by an autopen — except for one.

Now we know why — he probably didn't. The real question is: Who did? Who was running the country while Biden was not all there?

The use of the presidential autopen dates back to the 1950s, and there's been much debate about its legality. In 2013, Barack Obama became the first president to sign a bill into law using an autopen. He was vacationing in Hawaii at the time. His office relied on a 30-page memo from President George W. Bush's legal team asserting that the president's presence was not required as long as said president had authorized the signature.

What's not clear, in the case of Biden, is who was running the autopen and whether Biden was aware it was happening.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether Biden's obvious cognitive decline allowed unelected bureaucrats to essentially run the government without presidential oversight. If this is true — and let's be honest, all signs point to yes — every executive order, every pardon, and every official action taken under Biden's name could be constitutionally void.

Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants was non-compos mentis well before the 2020 campaign began, and as time went on his dementia was more and more evident. He served as VP only in the role of being the old white man supposedly representing the fictitious reasonable/respectable/rah-rah-rah pro-American Democrat party as opposed to the purple-lipped dog-eating Muslim son-of-a-Stalinist Obama whom Biden's presence as Veep was supposed to counterbalance and help allay whatever hesitancy the American people had about Mr. Clean and articulate black man who only spoke Jive when he had to.

Dementia or not, Biden's role between 2020 and 2025 was only as a puppet for Obama's third term of fundamentally transforming America into a socialist hellhole. For which Biden was able to grift and graft who know how many multi millions. On top of the millions he made selling access to every office he ever held for over 50 years.

PSaki-Psircling back, Will Pam Bondi and Trump actually be able to declare everything Biden enacted as null and void? And what would be the blowback. It'll be interesting considering the Democrats have been whipsawing between distancing themselves from Biden after Chlamydia Harris' disastrous failure as well as the dementia revelations and how either no one knew about it or everyone knew about it but covered it up.

And speaking of Pam Bondi, now all of a sudden the Epstein files are going to be redacted with gallons of Sharpie Marker black ink because of national security concerns?

Look, I'm no Intel honcho, but something here stinks to high heaven. How does revealing which Democrat, Republican or celebrity was engaging in pederasty risk our national security?

And on a completely different note, perhaps, at least for me, the sine qua non of Leftist bestiality and degeneracy is the eruption of the worst abject Jew hatred since the Muslim invasion and pogrom of 10/7 from Gaza.

I mean, really?

No sooner had Israel lowered the bodies of the two murdered Bibas children into their graves, than radical leftists began accusing Jews of “white supremacy” for mourning them.

The Empire State Building and a number of other national landmarks had changed their colors to orange to honor the two redheaded children, 9-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel, and people of conscience, Jewish and non-Jewish, had adopted orange to memorialize them.

“This is just white nationalism,” accused ‘Séamus’ Malekafzali, the son of an Iranian Marxist, who is published at The Nation. . .

. . . Socialists, national or democratic, who tear down the posters of murdered children, desecrate their memorials and denounce Jews for mourning their own children have labeled any opposition to the murder of Jews as “white supremacy”.Only killing Jews isn’t white supremacy.

Their new definition of “white supremacy” is opposing another Holocaust.

The ultimate Jewish crime in Israel is not any of the catalog of lies, smears, conspiracy theories, historical revisionism and ceaseless moral inversion that form the case for ‘Palestine’, a fictional entity consisting of a genocidal population of colonists, it’s the Jewish refusal to be murdered.

It’s not about red hair, but about red blood.

Have a great weekend.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

  • The Trump administration is planning to demand the social media accounts of people applying for green cards, US citizenship, and asylum or refugee status. (The Verge)

Which is entirely sensible. You'd have to be stupid to document criminal plans online where anyone can read them, but people are indeed stupid.
"One way of looking at this is that it's an attempt at basically catching up to modernity," Kathleen Bush-Joseph, an analyst at the Migration Policy Institute's US immigration program, told The Verge. Bush-Joseph, whose work partly focuses on efforts to modernize the US immigration system, said that the immigration system "does not really reflect the reality of the twenty-first century in important ways."
I'm pretty sure that's not what The Verge wanted to hear.
Two documentary filmmakers sued the first Trump administration over the State Department's social media policy in 2019, arguing that it violated the First Amendment and hadn't proven necessary to protect national security interests. ... A federal judge dismissed the case with prejudice in 2023.
    So perish unbelievers.

Emergency Backup Overnight Thread – Remember the Alamo Edition – March 6, 2025

Alamo at Night.JPG

Before we start tonight’s ONT, here is a quick note from Weird Dave with a couple important updates…

[Hello Morons! This is Weird Dave, I want to thank Buck and Roger for covering the ONT these next 2 nights, as I have to be in Baltimore for my sister's memorial service. I did need to write this intro, however, because I have an update from our dear friend Jim Sunk New Dawn:

Not knowing where to start, so I'll just do so, however clumsily. I've asked Weird Dave to edit and proof this for me, as my typing has declined from 80 wpm, down to about 8. As to my scarcity here. Goes to this, really. I'll have to type this in bits and pieces. Put it together and into WD's able hands.

When he posts this, I will in NO WAY be able to respond to even a single greeting or inquiry. Hence, I greet you all, and will gladly wave at your words there on my screen. My fingers though, grow weak and quail at that many keystrokes. Same with chewing. I'm a walking skeleton, it's a job to chew much, no matter how good the fare. Feeding tube soon to follow.

Otherwise, I'm still able to care for myself in all ways, even driving. Down to 2 shotguns and 3 rifles for sale. All the handguns are gone, save for my carry gun (which IWB helps to hold my pants up) and Herself New Dawn's small battery at arms. With which she's highly skilled. Don't piss her off, 'eh?

Thanks to Federal ALS legislation, the VA was directed to adjudge my case as Fully Service Related. So, I get all the "boosts". Healthcare, equipment, household ADA mods, and boost to Social Security. I requested a Home Health aide, but when Herself New Dawn saw that I had spec'd a mid-30s buxom lass, well... the doctors say my bruising should subside any day now...

Much more to report, but hands now tire. Take it away, Weird Dave!

I didn't change a word. It's hard to edit through tears. We love you Jim. – Weird Dave]

I’ve also had the good fortune of corresponding with Jim Sunk New Dawn, as Galveston is a place that is dear to my heart, where I spent a lot of time in my younger days chasing speckled trout and other coastal delights. On to the Overnight Thread…

Today is the 189th anniversary of the fall of the Alamo in 1836. For us boys growing up in Texas, the Alamo loomed large in our cultural identity. In the words of Pappy O’Daniels’ “Beautiful Texas”…

Beautiful, beautiful Texas
Where the beautiful bluebonnets grow
We’re proud of our forefathers
Who fought at the Alamo

The Alamo obviously loomed large in the entire American psyche too, as evidenced by the ongoing fascination with David Crockett, the many movies made about the Alamo, and the lingering power of William Travis’ letter from the Alamo. Eleven days before the Alamo fell, Col. Travis sent his famous letter which read:

Commandancy of the The Alamo

Bejar, Feby. 24th. 1836

To the People of Texas & All Americans in the World-

Fellow Citizens & compatriots-

I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna - I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man - The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken - I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls - I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch - The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country - Victory or Death.

*****

Ron Howard’s 2004 movie “The Alamo” was excellent, but it did not get good reviews. The reason for the bad reviews, of course, was that the left-wing media simply hates the story of the Alamo, and how the heroes of the Alamo are valorized in American culture.

Billy Bob Thornton’s performance as David Crockett was exceptional, and if you’ve never seen it, here is a little snippet, with Crockett (Thornton) taking a potshot at Santa Anna.

*****

The Alamo, which is just a few steps away from San Antonio’s Riverwalk, remains the most visited tourist site in the state of Texas. And since 1985, visitors have been asking about the basement of the Alamo.

Obama Judges Decides She's President Now and Will Choose Who Works for the President;
Poll: People Want Musk to Keep Cutting Spending, CNN Poll Finds

Here's Obama judge Beryl Howell, who just insurrected and assumed the powers of the President and ordered Trump to re-hire someone he'd fired.

She looks as you'd imagine she would. They always do.

berylhowell.jpg

And here's the Bathing Beauty this Obama judge says has employment for life:

bathingbeauty.jpg

I used to love her, back when she sang about the Humpty Dance.

Pretty women don't become Democrats. The Democrat Party is the government Husband of Last Resort for unmarriageable women.

The Guardian:

The framers of the US constitution "made clear that no one in our system of government was meant to be king -- the President included -- and not just in name only", the judge Beryl A Howell, wrote in the ruling.

Howell presided over the hearing held on Wednesday on a motion for summary judgment in the District of Columbia. "The President does not have the authority to terminate members of the National Labor Relations Board at will, and his attempt to fire plaintiff from her position on the Board was a blatant violation of the law," she wrote.

"A president who touts an image of himself as a 'king' or a 'dictator,' perhaps as his vision of effective leadership, fundamentally misapprehends the role under Article II of the US Constitution," wrote Howell.

Article II of the US Constitution outlines the executive powers and responsibilities of the president. Howell continued, "in our constitutional order, the president is tasked to be a conscientious custodian of the law, albeit an energetic one, to take care of effectuating his enumerated duties, including the laws enacted by the Congress and as interpreted by the Judiciary".

Wilcox filed the lawsuit early last month, alleging her removal was a "blatant violation" of the National Labor Relations Act, which stipulates that members of the board can only be removed for negligence or misconduct. Her removal left the board with only two members, lacking the quorum of at least three members required to rule on cases.

"I'm ready to get back to work," said Wilcox after the hearing in a speech outside the courthouse today. "It's not just about me, but I'm glad to be the face of this fight."

How is it that leftwing judges keep getting "randomly assigned" to lawsuits against Trump?

Gavin Newsom Goes on Charlie Kirk to Announce He's Running for President in 2028

He didn't put it in those words. Instead, he said it's "deeply unfair" to demand that girls allow themselves to be beaten up and run over by men in "girls" sports.

newsometransathlete.jpg

Billboard Chris
@BillboardChris

An earthquake just hit the Democrats.

Gavin Newsom concedes it is unfair that males are competing against females in sport.

Speaking with Charlie Kirk, he said "I think it's an issue of fairness, I completely agree with you on that. It is an issue of fairness -- it's deeply unfair."

Newsom also agreed that the most politically destructive attack ads from Trump's campaign featured Kamala Harris' support for providing taxpayer-funded gender transition-related medical care for detained immigrants and federal prisoners.

"She didn't even react to it, which was even more devastating," Newsom said, suggesting upward of 90 percent of Americans disagreed with Harris' position. "Then you had the video [of Harris] as a validator. Brutal," Newsom added. "It was a great ad."

Kirk challenged Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential hopeful, to speak out against AB Hernandez, a transgender high school track star from California whose triple jump event in the women's competition is drawing fierce backlash from the right. Newsom said he has four children of his own -- including two daughters -- and noted that both he and his wife participated in college-level sports, she in soccer and he in baseball.

"I revere sports, so the issue of fairness is completely legit," Newsom said. "And I saw that -- the last couple years, boy did I [see] how you guys were able to weaponize that issue at another level."

Kirk challenged Newsom over his use of the word "weaponize," and Newsom replaced it with "highlight."

Newsom's interview with Kirk was friendly, sometimes exceedingly so. He mentioned the influence Kirk and other MAGA-world figures have had on his 13-year-old son, distanced himself from the use of pronouns and the gender-neutral term "Latinx," called police defunding "lunacy," denounced "cancel culture" and agreed that there had been some internal issues in the leadership of the Black Lives Matter organization.

Newsom said Kirk was right when he contended that Republicans were capitalizing politically by painting Democrats as out of step with a strong majority of Americans on the issue. Earlier this week, Senate Democrats blocked a GOP-led effort to bar transgender girls from female youth sports.

"I agree with you," Newsom said. "We're getting crushed on it. Crushed. Crushed."

Democrats, including partisan Democrat Ron Filipkowski who claims to be a True Republican in the stinky mold of Noted Conservative David French but also he votes in Democrat primaries, says he'll never vote for Newsom because he... platformed Charlie Kirk.

This is a standard True Republican position, as you all know. All True Republicans demand that conservatives be deplatformed. Classic Reaganism, really.

@shellenberger

Gavin Newsom has come out against allowing boys and men in girls' and women's sports. Finally. The preference cascade against trans madness is accelerating.

Well, no: But there is a preference cascade among Democrats seeking to run in national elections, or statewide elections in swing states. You better believe that any Democrat in a safe district or blue state will continue to push Peak Trans policies.

For example: Leftwing podcaster and rich bitch Nepo Baby Emma Vigland went on twitter to laugh at the brain damage suffered by Payton McNabb due to having the ball spiked in her face by a man.

Al Green Censured, but 198 Democrats Vote Against Censure;
They Surround Him and Sing "We Shall Overcome"

It's Selma all over again. Any time you punish a black person for violating the rules or the law, it's Selma all over again.

It's a violation of civil rights to ever find fault with a black person. That's the true meaning of "racial equality."

Question: Green was ordered to stand in the well of the House and accept his censure.

Instead, he coordinated a mass protest against the censure and had his fellow diseased thugs sing for his glory.

He therefore defied the Congress. Is there a way to escalate this, then?

Congressmen can be excluded from Congress.

It's a Day of Shocks: Voters Don't Think Democrats Know What the Hell They're Doing

You don't say.

Voters still have a sour view of Democrats six weeks after President Donald Trump and Republicans swept into Washington with control of all branches of the federal government, according to a new poll.

A plurality of voters -- 40 percent -- said the Democratic Party doesn't have any strategy whatsoever for responding to Trump, according to the survey by the liberal firm Blueprint that was shared first with POLITICO. Another 24 percent said Democrats have a game plan, but it's a bad one.

A paltry 10 percent said that the party has a solid technique for dealing with Trump. And that's coming from a Democratic outfit's survey.

The unsparing findings, issued by a group backed by mega-donor Reid Hoffman, amount to a major rebuke of the party's approach to the dawn of Trump's second term. And they come at a moment when Democrats are already feeling despondent after their roundly mocked response to Trump's address to Congress on Tuesday, which was lambasted as unproductive and amateurish.

"Voters correctly identified that the Democratic Party has lost its way," said Evan Roth Smith, the top pollster for Blueprint. "The Democratic response [Tuesday] night was more or less a continuation of what we've seen from Democrats so far. Which is, there was nothing overtly wrong about it, but it didn't actually do anything to ameliorate this core issue Democrats face, which is voters aren't quite sure what we stand for and would like us to get back to the basic principles of the party."

On Capitol Hill, top Democrats put on a brave face Wednesday in the wake of their widely criticized reaction to Trump's speech. But across the party, the damage was still reverberating, as elected officials and strategists scrambled to clean up their response. It was an effort mired in finger-pointing and with little agreement over how Democrats should oppose Trump.

The strategy for countering the president's speech -- or lack thereof -- laid bare how divided Democrats still are on how to counter Trump's steamrolling of Washington, and how ineffective their efforts to blunt him remain.

...

In an illustration of how sharply Democrats are split over how to take on Trump, one of the party's rising stars, Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Florida), said his colleagues' rowdiness on Tuesday was the point. He was among a group of Democrats who departed before the end of Trump's speech.

"It is rude. It is disrespectful," he said. "That was the whole point of it -- to disrespect him."

...

Meanwhile, some Democrats insisted there was no disagreement within the party over how to attack Trump, despite evidence to the contrary.

Democrats are in the same position they've been in since Obama: They are cowed by their hardest-left, most partisan maniacs who they dare not cross and who they're always trying to placate.

They continue losing moderates and normies, and have no plan out of this spiral towards extinction except continuing to hope that the moderates and normies either don't mind or don't notice that they're hard-left maniacs, or hoping that the moderates and normies become as radicalized as they are and join the hard-left partisan maniacs.

They have no other plan except this. This is the same "plan" they've been trying since 2015: We'll just scream and cry and whine and slander people until they give in to us out of exhaustion.

But the trouble is that this plan already did work... for a while. For a while, normies were willing to just give in to the Screamers and Emotional Blackmailers in hopes that they would be appeased and just leave the normies alone for a while.

But they never did leave them alone. So now the normies understand that there is no appeasing these people, so they're done appeasing them. Forever.

The Democrats have been stuck in the "Denial" stage of grief since November 8, 2016. They just can't get past that first step. They just keep up making up reasons why they didn't really lose and therefore don't have to change at all and definitely do NOT have to stand up to their hard-left rabble, whom they're terrified by.

We didn't really lose in 2016. It was Russia what done it.

We didn't really lose in 2024. It was Disinformation and White Supremacy what done it.

We don't have to change, ever. We just have to Scream Our Satanic Psuedo-Religion louder until people start appeasing and placating us again.

Shock Report: Now That His Father Is No Longer Fake President, Hunter Biden's Sales of His "Artworks" Have "Slowed to a Trickle"

I don't understand this at all! How can it be that Hunter's "artworks" turned unfashionable and sooo 2023 the moment his influence-peddling father left office?!

Make it make sense, people! Make it make sense!

HUNTER BIDEN BROKE: A pardon from his dad spared Hunter Biden from prison, but the former president's son remains saddled with debt and was forced out of a home he was renting by the recent Pacific Palisades fire, POLITICO's Josh Gerstein writes in.

Biden detailed his grim financial situation in a court filing yesterday, saying that he has struggled to sell his paintings in recent months, moving only one in the past 14 months, compared with 27 in the prior two or three years. He reported "significant" debts and lackluster sales of his memoir: just more than 4,200 copies during a one-year period that led up to the trial in Delaware last spring in which he was found guilty of lying about his drug addiction on a federal gun-purchase form.

"Given the positive feedback and reviews of my artwork and memoir, I was expecting to obtain paid speaking engagements and paid appearances, but that has not happened," Biden wrote. Citing the financial burden of ongoing legal fees, he's asking a federal judge in LA to allow him to drop a lawsuit he filed in 2023 accusing former Trump White House aide Garrett Ziegler of hacking the contents of Biden's laptop.

More:

Elsewhere, Hunter blamed dwindling sales of his artworks and his 2021 memoir, "Beautiful Things," for his reported dire financial situation.

"In the 2 to 3 years prior to December 2023, I sold 27 pieces for art at an average price of $54,481.48, but since then I have only sold 1 piece of art for $36,000," he argued in the motion.

"Similarly, for my book sales, in the six month period before the statements (April 1, 2023 through September 30, 2023), based on the September 30, 2023 statement, 3,161 copies of my book were sold, but in the six months after the statements, only approximately 1,100 books were sold."

"Given the positive feedback and reviews of my artwork and memoir, I was expecting to obtain paid speaking engagements and paid appearances, but that has not happened," he continued.

Hunter first filed the suit against Ziegler back in 2023 for allegedly illegally accessing and circulating the embarrassing contents of his infamous laptop on Ziegler's right-wing nonprofit website Marco Polo.

Ziegler, who worked as an aide to President Trump's trade adviser, Peter Navarro, during the last administration, has published much of Hunter's laptop data on his site in the years since The Post first exposed the device in 2020.

What I take from this is that Democrat billionaires have been funding all of Hunter Biden's many, many lawsuits against the people who told the truth about him, and now they've cut him lose as no longer worth the expenditure.

Below, noted Democrat Operative Chuck Todd attacks Joe Biden for running in 2020. 2020, yes.

But he refuses to be honest and concede that Biden had dementia even five years ago. And he refuses to admit that Biden was selling his office in an influence-peddling operation, and that his brothers, children, and even grandchildren were paying paid off by Biden's foreign patrons.

He won't admit these things because he's spent years denying that. Biden may have been wrong to run at all, but Chuck Todd will never admit he was wrong.

So instead, he makes his case against Biden running in 2020 based on most of Biden's children being drug addicts. This, he says, is the reason Biden shouldn't have run.

Dementia? No problem. Corruption that would make Boss Tweed blush? No problem.

Just that his loser son and whore daughter were drug addicts. That's the only knock on Joe Biden.

Trump Pauses Mexico Tarrifs

Shrug.

President Donald Trump has said that Mexico will not have to pay a tariff on all goods that fall under the USMCA (United States, Mexico, Canada) trade agreement until April 2, when the agreement expires.

Trump posted on Truth Social, "After speaking with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, I have agreed that Mexico will not be required to pay Tariffs on anything that falls under the USMCA Agreement."

"This Agreement is until April 2nd. I did this as an accommodation, and out of respect for, President Sheinbaum. Our relationship has been a very good one, and we are working hard, together, on the Border, both in terms of stopping Illegal Aliens from entering the United States and, likewise, stopping Fentanyl. Thank you to President Sheinbaum for your hard work and cooperation!" Trump added.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

Has there been another event in American history that did more to destroy trust in government than the catastrophic, mendacious, grafting, grifting, power-grabbing response to the 2020 Covid 19 outbreak?

Our government funded another country's dangerous research into pathogens, and when that pathogen showed up in America, the government spent years lying about its origin. The government pushed poorly tested vaccines based on new technology, going so far as mandating their use on pain of loss of employment...or worse...denial of vital medical care. The government covered up the unbelievably bad research and testing done by Big Pharma, whose lies about the efficacy of the various vaccines were gleefully accepted by compliant government officials who were enthusiastic participants in the bribery scheme of government --> Pharma employment. The government used its jackbooted thugs to force compliance to a vast and ascientific collection of mandates to "protect" America from the virus, like the laughable "six foot rule," masking, ridiculous plexiglass barriers, closing schools filled with children...the least susceptible cohort, destroying businesses with nonsensical laws, and in most respects looking like an evil combination of Lysenkoism from 1930s Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.

And America noticed! Trust in government is at an all-time low, and compliance with government vaccine recommendations for children began dropping during the Covid 19 hysteria.

And that is a very big problem, because there are many vaccines based on traditional technology and sturdy research that work wonderfully. Polio, Pertussis, Measles, Mumps, Tetanus, and several others based on robust science, backed up with excellent real-world data have almost eliminated those diseases.

But the same government that tells us that those vaccines are wonderful and safe and effective (and they are), also lied and manipulated and thieved and sent some of us to jail and tried its damnedest to make us a meek and compliant people.

So why should American parents believe a damned thing that government says about vaccination? They shouldn't, and the ascension of RFK Jr. (the nation's foremost vaccination skeptic) is not a coincidence. Is he a loon? Yup! But he also brings profound suspicion to a position that for many years has been a conduit for Big Pharma to tout its newest and most expensive toys, regardless of efficacy.

But he isn't stupid, and assisting Texas in dealing with a Measles outbreak, including providing the science-supported vaccine, is an appropriate and measured response.

RFK Jr. Says Texas Measles Outbreak 'Top Priority' at HHS, Sending Vaccine Doses

“Ending the measles outbreak is a top priority for me and my extraordinary team,” Kennedy said in a post on social media platform X on Feb. 28.

He said that his agency, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), would send Texas 2,000 doses of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine through its immunization program.

Additionally, HHS will provide “lab support to better track the virus causing the outbreak,” will communicate “with public health officials every day in all affected areas to support their response and ensure they have the resources they need,” and provide communications to local communities in Low German—the language used by Mennonites.

“We will continue to fund Texas’ immunization program. Ending the measles outbreak is a top priority for me and my extraordinary team at HHS,” Kennedy wrote on the platform.

That is a far cry from the foaming-at-the-mouth pontifications from the Trump-hating senators during RFK's hearings! It is positively measured and rational and respectful of the science. And that is a very big deal. America is sick and tired of having government diktats shoved down their throats, particularly when it comes to their children's health.

How strange will it be if it takes RFK Jr. to return the government healthcare apparatus to some modicum of sanity?

The Morning Report — 3/ 6 /25

MaddowWoof.jpg

Good morning kids. While President Trump's Tuesday night speech remains at or near the top of the heap of the news, it's not so much the speech (great as it was for content if not necessarily rhetorical majesty), but the stunningly atrocious behavior of the Democrats and their propagandist mouthpieces in the media during and afterwards. My advice to Democrats For Trump's next speech would be to Give AL Green the gay bath house urinal cake to chew on instead of Malig-Nancy Pelosi. It would keep his filthy cake-hole occupied with something other than emitting loud flatus. Well, his yammering and rude interruptions may bring about a vote of censure, or so I am seeing reported, for all the good that will do given who and what he is and represents, along with his entire party.

That a visceral and personal hatred of President Trump would make them sit on their hands for a poor 13-year-old boy suffering from brain cancer who Trump made an honorary Secret Service agent is petty, evil and revolting to a degree that leaves me without the words to describe it. Ditto when it was announced that the Islamikaze mastermind who orchestrated the hideous slaughter of 13 US servicemen in Afghanistan was captured. Considering Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants is technically an unindicted co-conspirator in their deaths for his dereliction of duty as C-in-C for the snap dugout that set the table for that unnecessary slaughter, well we can't have his dementia and greed-filled malfeasance exposed, right Jake Tapper?!

As for DJ Daniel and his family, his story hits close to him given my own personal medical situation. While I have been blessed with friends, family and doctors, and of course the good Lord, who collectively have made the past year tolerable, physically and emotionally, I could not imagine having to endure a diagnosis and treatment regimen as a 13-year-old. Yikes. And what I went through compared to DJ and what he still has yet to face is a day at the beach! God Bless DJ and our President for his compassion and humanity.

One of the biggest stars to emerge from Donald Trump's amazing speech on Tuesday night was DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old boy who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2018 and given just a few months to live. However, after 13 brain surgeries, he's survived the odds and, while he still suffers from some health issues, like advanced cataracts, and has dealt with terrible bullying in the past, he is thriving and enjoying life more than most healthy people I know. . . Because of this, the president and first lady invited DJ and his father, Theodis, to be guests at the president's address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, but Trump took it a step further and honored DJ as an honorary Secret Service agent. Secret Service Director Sean Curran himself presented DH with a badge in a moment that was about as heartwarming as it gets. Here's a video in case you missed it. It's best to grab some tissues before you watch [the video].  . .

. . . On Wednesday morning, DJ and Theodis appeared on "Fox & Friends," as well as their own local Houston Fox affiliate — the Daniel family lives in Houston, Texas — for interviews. During their interview with Fox 26 in Houston, DJ showed off his badge, while his father said he hopes their story inspires others. "We just have to turn something that most of us see as bad and tragic into something positive. We're supposed to be in the business of trying to inspire people to be a better version of themselves despite what you're going through," he said, adding, "He doesn't give up, he doesn't complain, he just gets out and does it with no excuses. Just stay positive, stay hopeful, and stay prayed up."

Stay prayed up, indeed. Sage advice for all of us.

On another note, While a solid majority of Americans supports this president in his efforts to make government accountable, a battle that has been ongoing for 200 years or more could potentially get a whole lot uglier. I'm referring to the turf war between the three official branches of government, and ironically it's about DOGE's attempt to rein in and if possible defang the unelected, unofficial and arguably unconstitutional fourth branch; the bureaucracy.

Despite, as we and legal eagles extraordinaire from Jonathan Turley, to Alan Dershowitz to William Jacobson and others have noted, Donald Trump as President and head of the Executive Branch indeed has the legal authority to rein in via allocation of funds and certainly the dismissal, piecemeal or en masse, of employees of the aforementioned. And yet, Cheap Justice Judas Roberts demonstrates his virtual Democrat-esque disdain for the very document and what it represents that he swore to preserve protect and defend. Ditto that Amy Coney Island Whitefish. What a total mistake she was.

The Supreme Court sided with a district court judge Wednesday who had ruled the Trump administration could not stop $2 billion in U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) payments to intended recipients. . . Legal scholar Jonathan Turley pointed out that the case could still emerge in the Trump administration’s favor, since the Supreme Court’s ruling only applied to the preliminary injunction, and not the final determination. . .

. . . Justice Samuel Alito led four conservative justices in dissent. In a blistering opinion, he said that district courts lacks the authority to order the payments, noting that once money is out the door, further appeals may be ineffective In a blistering opinion, Alito wrote that the Supreme Court is rewarding “an act of judicial hubris and imposes a $2 billion penalty on American taxpayers.”

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the three liberal justices to form a majority.

Roberts is now 2 for 2 in usurpation of power; First he rewrote Obamacare to make it Kosher thereby assuming the role of one-man Legislature, and now dictating/seizing executive branch power that he never had by denying it to President Trump.

So the qustion is, does PTOUS Trump have the wherewithal, from a technical/practical standpoint to ignore the ruling and simply cut off the funding? More crucially, does he have the stones to tell Roberts and the Court to go piss up rope? S0, what I'm asking is what would be the short term and of course long term political consequences to us and the nation should he actually do this? If we are in a post-Constitutional period, and with one side, the Democrats, using said document as a shield and cudgel, when not using it as toilet paper, Where do we go from here as a society, given perhaps as many as a third of the citizenry are full on board with destroying the nation as founded, for a litany of reasons.

Can the Republic as founded be restored, or even something that resembles it be created, one that preserves our rights while trying to prevent the cancer that tore it apart from re-emerging, if that is even possible, or are we destined to split? What cannot go on, will not. If the Department of Education and the propaganda brainwashing complex be dismantled, and we can have at least one or more generations of kids like DJ Daniel come up, then we have a chance.

On another front, what the hell good is DOGE when Mike Johnson et al are still greasing the wheels of our destruction?

This is not the first time that Massie has found himself opposing GOP leadership on fiscal grounds but the stakes are high as Congress seeks to pass a CR to fund government operations beyond March 14. . . The Kentucky Congressman also cited an unwillingness to fund the waste, fraud and abuse that has been uncovered by Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) efforts and the fact that there were suppose to be 12 separate funding bills to encourage transparency. Massie also is standing firm on the fact that Congress was told that the CR passed in December that funded the federal government through March 14 would allow the prioritizing of President Trump’s agenda via the checkbook.

Speaker Johnson told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday: We’re looking to pass a clean CR to freeze funding at current levels [and] to make sure that the government can stay open while we begin to incorporate all these savings that we’re finding through the DOGE effort, and these other sources of revenue that President Trump’s policies are bringing the table.

Pfft.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.
