Axios Claims Dan Bongino and Kash Patel Are "Furious" About Pam Bondi's Mishandling of the Epstein Case; Bongino Supposedly Will Quit Unless Bondi Is Fired

Pam Bondi, you may remember, said that the "Epstein client list" was on her desk waiting to be released. She also summoned a bunch of conservative influencers to the DOJ to give them supposedly new information from the Epstein files, but all of this information turned out to be old news. The influencers had their time wasted and Bondi was embarrassed.

Megan Kelly has been speculating that the countdown clock for Bondi's firing or forced resignation is coming.

Now Axios, quoted here by PJ Media's Matt Margolis, reports that Bongino took today off in protest of Bondi and supposedly might not be coming back.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly had a heated confrontation with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the Jeffrey Epstein files, and the fallout has been swift and telling. According to sources, Bongino was so frustrated with Bondi's lack of transparency that he took the day off work on Friday, leading some to speculate that he might have quit altogether.

"He ain't coming back," a source close to Bongino told Axios.

According to the story, both Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel are "furious" with Bondi over the blowback her handling of the Epstein files has caused them. And who can blame them?

Inside the room: During the meeting, Bongino was confronted about a NewsNation article that said he and Patel wanted more information released about Epstein earlier, but were held back. Bongino denied leaking that idea.

"Pam said her piece. Dan said his piece. It didn't end on friendly terms," said one person briefed on the heated discussion. Bongino left angry, the source said.

"The fact is, Dan was for releasing the information with the video and had no problem until he got heat online," a senior administration official told Axios.

"Bongino found the video with the missing minute. He vouched for it after a 'thorough review,' he said, and he thought this would end the matter. When that didn't work, he lost his mind and ran out of D.C."

Said a pro-Bongino source: "Dan is not the bad guy here. He shouldn't take the fall."

Here's where things get interesting: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche felt the need to defend the memo, insisting that all leadership signed off on it.

I don't know what's going on here. I trust Bongino and Kash Patel, and I trust Trump. So I don't have strong suspicions that they're covering anything up.

It could just be that this story simply does not end the way many people expected it to end. I know people have suspicions, but suspicions are not facts, and it's wrong to take one's suspicions as being true.

6 If I blame anyone in this Epstein mess I'd blame Bondi. If there were no Epstein files, don't tell the public that they're on your "desk" waiting to be reviewed. Either that, or after the review is done, say you couldn't find any crimes that could still be prosecuted. Going from "we're reviewing and redacted a bunch of stuff, be patient" straight to "oops, nothing to see here" just brings out the conspiracy theorists.

Gaetz was always a joke nomination, that was just about giving both him and Mike Johnson a face saving way to get him out of the house before that lurid sex report got released.
Paxton has a very good chance of replacing Cornyn, which will be a great spot for him, but there is no way he would ever get past any kind of official confirmation hearings. He's always got to win elected seats, he'll never be appointed to anything.

But there's plenty of good candidates out there who could replace Bondi.

31 Here's some squirrel:

Lucien Wolfe@nuclear_zero1 . 31m Replying to @MaryMargOlohan

They won’t say it publicly, but this isn’t about Bongino vs. Bondi.
It’s about who controls the evidence.

Back in 2018, Bondi was handed sealed access to Epstein’s metadata archives, including names, encrypted comms, and—most crucially—video footage.
Not the client list. The kompromat.

Bongino found out she wasn’t just withholding names—
She was protecting assets. Assets that tie into foreign intel networks and a very specific island’s blackmail hub.

That’s why he drew the line:
Not because she’s “incompetent,”
But because she’s untouchable.

DOJ wanted her in. Trump didn’t block it. Bongino got the message.
This isn’t a feud. It’s a silent war.
Part 2: Why was Pam Bondi *photographed entering Langley on a Sunday?

Who’s she really working for?

*grok says there is no evidence that Bondi was at Langley

If she hasn't deleted the evidence already. I hate to sound blackpilled, but the lack of transparency makes me suspect the worst. Sigh.

Child trafficking, abuse, and porn is my hill to die on. I don't care who you are politically if you are complicit in any of this, or covering it up, you have to go. Even if it's Trump, or Bongino, or Bondi, or Elon, or some actor I love. They all have to go.

She's crushing the rogue judges, hammering the colleges with lawsuits over Title IX, but none of that counts because we have like 60 senators who will totally confirm someone even more competent.

79 You can tell how badly Bondi (and perhaps others) mismanaged this situation by contrasting this with how Tulsi handled the JFK and RFK material. There documents were simply released without much organization, and they were disappointing to the smoking gun conspiracy theory brigade (especially the RFK documents that really made Sirhan Sirhan look bad). But there was a strong feeling that transparency had been achieved.

We all saw the photos of the stacks of video recordings seized from Epstein. You can't promise transparency and then just hand-wave that away months later as "it was all child porn". Even if you are engaging in a coverup, you release a manifest of the evidence:

Video 1: Epstein recorded himself assaulting minor victim 1 for 15 minutes

Video 1: Epstein recorded himself assaulting minor victim 2 for 20 minutes

It's not rocket science, and a lot more people would quiet down.

Something that tends to affect people is the perceived injustices to others that they can champion. So you get pro and anti Casey Anthony, pro and anti Russia Russia, and so on.

Anything released on Epstein is likely to be like the JFK/RFK release--no smoking gun, a lot of bureaucratic memos--some tantalizing in nature but inconclusive, and no assurance that anything released has not been scrubbed to the desire of the Deep State.

The best way to get justice for the whole affair is start defunding and draining a world situation where you get stupid shit like Ukraine, perpetual war in the Mideast, and elsewhere. Send the cartel and potential terrorists back to their home countries and so on.

Like Slapton Sands, Pearl Harbor, Russia Russia, the whole Watergate op by the Deep State, there will never be a happy movie style conclusion to this affair. Simply a long drawn out dribble of stuff that may or may not be true just like these 'stories'.

Beck: "We're at a crossroads because I know Dan Bongino...I've known him since before anything and I trust him. Do I have to trust a guy I know personally...appointed by a president I trust...If I don't trust them, who's left? Who's left? There's no one."

Rubin: "Once you go down that road, then you are spinning...I've known him to be an honorable person...then really, where are we?"

Beck: "We have no information...we have suspicion...But I need to SEE these things. We CANNOT go on trust, we need to go on facts."

Rubin: "...Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

I think I believe the pilots - it looks like they were both honestly surprised by what happened, and another source is reporting multiple attempts were made to restart the engines, which failed. It looks to me as though the fuel system was sabotaged on the ground, but why? And it would have taken someone very sophisticated in aeronautical engineering to do such a specific type of sabotage.

I haven't dug out the official report yet. The videos look like the engines were switched off maybe 10 seconds after liftoff, the plane flying for another 22 seconds or so. The Sun says they restarted one engine, but if they did, the switches would not be in the cutoff position. Surprised they didn't radio anything about the cutoff in the 22 seconds they had.

Lot of he said, she said, in depositions and testimony, silence from Epstein and Maxwell, and virtually nothing about who Epstein entertained. You get a very small slice of it with Giuffre but a lot of the other girls have ODed, vanished, or gave bland statements about what went on.

To make a case, you have to prove that the girls were under the age of consent, that they were in fact not voluntarily having sex in exchange for Epstein giving them bennies, and get testimony on the record in open court that such and such happened. Since Ghislaine perhaps or certainly Epstein were the contact person with whoever their IC handler was, the girls probably know nothing about that end. And those handlers, who are often false flag (aka an Australian who appears English, an American appearing Israeli, etc.) and codenamed.

If Trump had actually arrested Hillary Clinton in 2017, DC would have fallen apart.

If any Epstein evidence still even exists in 2025 (highly doubtful, considering all those FBI raids and mysterious fires and so on)... same result. Too many powerful men would be swept up in the maelstrom.

Anyone who wants to work in that town can't afford to blow it to flinders. So it won't happen.

167 Codenamed covert ops individuals appear in memos across the JFK and RFK files but without reference to exactly who they might be for operational security. Then that works quite well to prevent any subsequent law enforcement actions because the first rule in criminal law is to identify who needs to be charged. Difficult to build a case otherwise.

This is why the whole inquiry into CIA dark prisons came to a halt when an ops guy (last name Rodriguez mebbe?) destroyed most of the evidence that would have been needed to actually prove violations of US law. CIA is simply not going to hand over its officers to foreign countries to be prosecuted. Heck, one such lady who killed a guy outside an American enclave in the UK was spirited out the country and simply is not going to be charged for it. Black ops mean even more such protections from being prosecuted by anyone.

And if by chance you got their 'handler'--their handler would claim no knowledge of law breaking but only that Epstein passed him some tips from time to time. You do not get smoking guns in these situations--maybe some post hoc CYA memos from office types but not from the people at the tip of the spear.

The problem you have is that you can't just drop stuff without evidence or its defamation, and maybe the evidence does not have a solid chain of custody.

Cut the budget, remove their perks, etc. Prior to the current OSS/CIA, you had military intel that did some interesting things back in the day. Virginia Giuffre filed a civil action against Prince Andrew which the queen forced Andrew to settle for a lot of money. Some of what we know about Epstein's NYC and Pedo Island trips come from civil depositions in the case. Lurid stuff but not particularly useful in identifying those associating with Epstein and getting favors from his 'girls'.

Nothing whatsoever to identify handlers in the IC in that case or in the earlier DoJ files released over Epstein's Miami days. Some is there about how Trump found out about one girl about to be trafficked from Mar a Lago and how he stopped it.

211 My theory is as good as anyone's...I think this is causing MORE press from the MSM demanding the list...who ignored it for many years...trying to make things worse for the man they despise. It is going to backfire on them when/if more is released as they request. I am patient and can wait.

I am more interested in the complaints from Alligator Alcatraz. A guy from Venezuela, cry me a river, said the caged illegals in bunk beds are full of mosquitos, crickets and frogs. He thinks this is psychological to get them to sign self deportations and would not give his name. Or something like that as I pictured them freaking out in Florida summer nights and snickered and, as usual, did not read content. I would hazard a guess the snakes have not figured their tents out, as that would be worse than crickets. Top bunk!

Toilets are backed up. Worms in food. A lot of lawyuhs screaming about their rights being violated. No phone number to call their clients. It is unfair! Stompy! People running the place say this is a pack of lies.

I would like to remind them they had time to self deport to cooler Canada and did not. President Trump did warn you! Therefore, enjoy your tropical stay! Adios!

213 202 It would be cool if Bongino showed up Monday with the complete Epstein files, handed them to the press, and said "Fuck it. I'm blowing this whistle" and let the chips fall where they may.

Isn't going to happen for a variety of reasons. One, is that if Epstein was an intel IC, a lot of those files Bongino would never see--those would be CIA files. And it took over 60 years, several US laws, and Trump trying to pry those files out for his first administration.

I guess I have to explain yet again that the binder gambit was a setup for SDNY's attorneys. She gave them out, then a whistleblower found they hid documents, the office was raided and the Dem operatives were forced to quit.

I guess "crushing it in the courts" Trumps "don't screw up our cover-up of the pedo ring".

216 "I don't know what's going on here. I trust Bongino and Kash Patel, and I trust Trump. So I don't have strong suspicions that they're covering anything up."

Exactly. Of all the parties involved, the only one who I would say has not "walked the walk" is Bondi, but Trump seems to have have done a lot better with his appointees this time around. Bondi was famous for her handling of the 2000 POTUS election, IIRC. Also, I think she was the one who caved to corporate media induced public pressure and charged George Zimmerman in the Treyvon Martin case, even though there was no legal reason to do so.

There are theories that this is about catching the object of their investigations off guard - so they don't flee, or find legal obstacles to throw in the way - by making everybody thing there is no investigation going on at all. There's another theory that this is an intentional invocation of the Streisand effect - tricking the media to pay attention to the issue.

All I can say for sure is that, no this isn't over, and no, Trump & Co are NOT taking bribes to give. the bad guys a pass

219 Bondi was an obvious dud from the beginning.

She was integral to the Zimmerman trial, which Obama, Jarrett and Co intentionally used to smash this country apart. In a way few things have before or since.

People don't want to know only because they don't want to know. This wasn't some bad or crazy or rash decision she made. She tried to railroad dummy Zimmerman in a bs trial either on behalf of someone or for her own ends or both. Also not very good on gubs. Fuck her.

227 Secret Service Agent Walked Away from It All Hardcover – November 19, 2013
by Dan Bongino (Author)

In part, "New York Times bestseller, Life Inside the Bubble is an intimate look at life inside the presidential “bubble,” a haze of staffers, consultants, cronies, acolytes, bureaucrats and lobbyists that creates the “alternate reality” in which monumental policy decisions are made.

And it is the story of a dedicated Secret Service professional who, after years inside the “bubble,” walked away in favor of sounding a clarion call to the American people in defense of sane government and the US Constitution."

Working into a pattern of conduct, Dan?
-------------
Now Bondi's not up to federal games & garbage left from the prior administration. Has she no mentors? Are there no competent Senior Executive Service - executive, managerial, and policy-oriented - staff members left in Federal law enforcement agencies? Or very good attorneys and field personnel? Find them!

The 1st game of the dems is to pick off the women - every single one of them regardless of their competency. Next is the younger men who could easily carry into another administration, and so forth.

240 I would like to know just what the List obsessives think is going to be on the List. At most it will be a set of contact names and phone numbers, and we already know who many of Epstein's contacts were. The way some people talk about it, it's like they think there's an invoice with entries like: "Bill Gates--a dozen Haitian minors for a private orgy", or "Prince Andrew--one 12-year-old, to go." In the movies, but not in reality. We don't want to get so hung up on this lurid sideshow that we lose sight of immigration enforcement, the cleanout of the bureaucracy, and other more pressing matters. The List is not a magic talisman that will wipe out evil forever when brought to light, if it even exists at all.

249 Posted this morning that I was taking the weekend to ride the motorcycle off road for 300 miles of the Trans-America Trail, from Elkton,TN -to- just Sounth of Corinth, MS. Made it to my 1st night stop over in Waynesdorro, TN.

As luck would have it, I went down in a very low speed (like 1mph low speed) water crossing. Mossy moldy slick rock under about 8" of water. Could see the bottom. Had my feet out like training wheels to help support the bike, but the front wheel caught a small rock Crack and slipped right out from under me. Broke the left mirror, and drenched my lef leg quad muscles. This puts and end to my trip because I won't be able to lift the bike if I drop it again.

Ice, ibuprofen, elevation. I'll head home in the morning. This summer moose cock. Was looking forward to the rest of the trip.

Made multiple water crossings safely, one that was almost 2' deep too! Dang slippery full sunlight moss on the rock got me.

That's great, but USAID was only one of the funding mechanisms for the Derp State.

And that has zero to do with exposing the Derp State Cabal that was running Epstein.

And fairly confident that there are other IC backed Epstein in circulation.

Carter Page was a version of Epstein, he wasn't trafficking in underage girls, but he was an IC asset that was intentionally circulating with "enemies" and then in turn interfacing with targets so that IC could have a hook to surveil the target.

None of what the Derp state is doing is directed at enemies, it's all directed at controlling politicians and the connected for their own diabolical ends and not making this country better or safer.

280 I guess Kash and Bongino did some kind of turnaround about Epstein killing himself, since taking their positions. To me, it suggests that Epstein's death was faked by the Feds, so now they have to push the fiction.

We know that on rare occasions that the Feds DO do such things. If ever there was a reason to do it, it's with Epstein. Tons of powerful, high-profile people involved, as well as whatever high-level puppet masters were pulling Epstein's strings. To get his cooperation, he would NEED to fake die, and his death was as fake as any "suicide" by two shots to the back of the head.

281 That said, Pam Bondi was behind the Zimmermann prosecution, and likely knew that TrayVon's girlfriend who they put on the stand was a fake witness.

I did find it hilarious when they brought in Treyvon's hoody tacked to a sheet of cardboard the size of a sheet of plywood. It was way ovewrsized or that thug had one hell of a wingspan.

Donald Trump did not campaign on controlling the Deep State.

He campaigned on obliterating it.

They tried to kill him twice. He needs to deal with them just as seriously.

Yes, but Trump says we shouldn't talk about it any more, and that's apparently enough for some people.

I think I see the problem. Every reason to be skeptical of anything that comes out.

Now, I don't believe the spin coming from the Administration players directly involved with Epstein related material. Doesn't pass the smell test. But neither am I going to jump when Axios et al make any claims at all.

297 First up, I doubt Epstein had an actual list with everybody's name on it. Lots of records, but no Grand Ledger. I seriously doubt that. So why doesn't the current admin release a "client list" that they compiled themselves? Several reasons, but the main one is this:

You're not thinking viciously enough.

I've heard very little about a victim list. Epstein's crimes had been going on for a long time and there's no way he workes alone. Someone we never heard of waa supplying children for him. I am certain there's a very dark reason so few of them have been heard from after the story broke. I don't think anyone knows how many kids are caught up in this or where they are, or what happens to them if these as-yet-unnamed are suddenly named.

Or maybe not. That's my guess, at least partly.

Posted by: Editor at July 11, 2025 09:32 PM (bbqkM)

298 The Epstein list promise has always been about self-aggrandisement. Releasing peoples names without establishing guilt through a fair trial is a legal nightmare and anyone named would, correctly, sue.

Bongino's theory that Epstein was running a blackmail/recruitment op for Mossad is moronic. The idea that the Israeli's would put a high-profile Jew in charge of an operation to ensnare a bunch of people of extremely dubious value is silly.

Furthermore, it simply isn't how those ops are run. You don't run them like a conveyer belt for years on end, you don't run them with such low levels of control and so precariously, particularly on shaky legal grounds that involve multiple crimes in the process, and the sorts of people you want to run into your trap are not caught out by millionaire's volunteering to fly them to their private sex island.
