- Intel's rumoured next-next generation Nova Lake processors have been rumoured again. (WCCFTech)
Albeit with more details this time.
The top of the line Core 9 model will reportedly include 16 performance cores, 32 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores.
Which would be a lot.
The next models down would be the Core 7, with 14 P-cores, 24 E-cores, and 4 LPE-cores.
However, both would use a base power of 150W, meaning - this being Intel - in reality they would run at more like 300W.
Which is also a lot.
They would also - according to a separate rumour - provide 32 PCIe 5.0 lanes and 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes.
Not counting the PCIe 5.0 connection from the CPU to the chipset.
The CPU provides the same number of I/O lanes - at the same speed - as AMD's current chips. But the chipset does a lot better than AMD, providing 24 total PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 lanes, against AMD's 870E which uses two chips to provide just 12 PCIe 4.0 lanes.
Oh, and DDR5-8000 memory.

A goblin shark. A weird creature that lives
deep in the abysses of the sea.
Only living in open oceans with depths of at least 4,265 feet, goblin sharks are rarely observed or recorded while alive. Scientists believe the animal only comes to the water's surface at night and spends most of their life living in nearly-complete darkness. Goblin sharks are not fished commercially and are mostly captured by people fishing other species. The only living member of the genus family Mitsukurina, the goblin shark's lineage dates back 125 million years. Nicknamed the "living fossil," goblin sharks are believed to be on average three to four meters in length, though a female goblin shark measuring six meters long was caught in the year 2000.A fifteen-foot hurricane storm surge buries a beach town in water. Thousands of prisoners -- many of them political prisoners -- escape from Iranian prisons in a mass jailbreak. This signals a disintegrating regime.
Iranian propaganda explains why Iran keeps bombing Israel's apartment buildings -- you'll never guess. Tucker Carlson decided he was a big enough man now to boss Trump around. Trump disagreed. There's a small but vocal contingent of people who call themselves conservatives but are calling out President Donald Trump for his support of Israel in its strikes against Iran. Chief among them is Tucker Carlson, who posted this on X on Friday:Tucker is a craven operator, and routinely ducks from attacking Trump directly, instead attacking Trump's advisors and Secretaries as a way to attack Trump without explicitly attacking Trump. But sometimes he slips up and says something like "Trump isn't really in control of the US military, Benyamin Netanyahu is." From Tucker Carlson's newsletter:As my PJ Media colleague Scott Pinsker put it, "Carlson's enemies are all 'warmongers,' and he, of course, is a 'peacemaker.' (So brave and noble.) He just so happens to be a 'peacemaker' who strongly objects to the dismantlement of Iran's nuclear WMD program." Side note: plenty of genuine conservatives are blasting Carlson in the comments as a "fraud." Good on them. Trump is firing back at those who say that supporting Israel doesn't necessarily serve American interests and is thus not "America First." He explained it all to The Atlantic's Michael Scherer, who asked the president a question about the views of people like Carlson. "Well, considering that I'm the one that developed 'America First,' and considering that the term wasn't used until I came along, I think I'm the one that decides that," Trump told Scherer. "For those people who say they want peace -- you can't have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don't want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon--that's not peace."
The real divide isn't between people who support Israel and people who support Iran or the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence, and those who seek to prevent it -- between warmongers and peacemakers. Who are the warmongers? They would include anyone who's calling Donald Trump today to demand air strikes and other direct US military involvement in a war with Iran. On that list: Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter and Miriam Adelson. At some point they will all have to answer for this, but you should know their names now.
This Could Be the Final Newsletter Before All-Out War Israel launched its long-awaited attack on Iran last night, bombarding the Islamic Republic with dozens of missiles and striking its top nuclear facility and at least five military bases. The assault reportedly killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander Hossein Salami and other top military leaders, and Israel believes other officials and nuclear scientists also perished. The episode came just days after White House envoy Steve Witkoff warned that Iran could unleash a "mass casualty response" if the Israelis bombed its nuclear facilities. Earlier this week, unnamed Washington sources expressed concern over Israel's ability to fend off Iran's retaliation, which would inevitably lead to Benjamin Netanyahu ordering the American military to step in and fight on his country's behalf. Tehran launched its first counterstrike last night, firing over 100 rockets at its attacker within hours of the initial assault.
Ultragay California senator Scott Weiner, who has a thousand ideas for legislation and, for some reason, the top 999 all involve reducing criminal penalties for pedophiles, has another brilliant idea. It involves upending the Constitution and allowing gay pincushions like him to exercise authority over federal agents and troops.
A man brandished a rifle at a Utah "No Kings" pre-riot. A "peacekeeper" armed with a gun attempted to shoot and kill him, but shot and killed an innocent bystander instead.
Senator Scott Wiener
@Scott_Wiener We're announcing new legislation -- the No Secret Police Act (SB 627) -- to ban local/state/federal law enforcement, w/ some exceptions, from covering their faces when interacting w/ the public & require them to wear identifying info Secret police behavior tanks trust & must end
Oh, so someone packing a gun at a riot and shooting someone dead is a "peacekeeper," huh, Marxist Regime Media? Weird, when Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed a criminal who was illegally carrying a gun and pulled it on him to shoot him at pointblank range, you didn't call Rittenhouse a "peacekeeper." You called him a white supremacist murderer.
At least three shots rang out, causing some people in the immediate area to flee, according to videos near the incident obtained by KSL. Several other videos were also uploaded to social media. On scene, officers found Folasa Ah Loo and attempted life-saving efforts. Redd said preliminary investigations show that Folasa Ah Loo was not the intended target but an "innocent bystander participating in the demonstration." With witnesses-provided information, officers pursued Gamboa to the area of 200 East 100 South, where he was apprehended, taken to the hospital and later booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail for investigation of murder, police said. Gamboa had a minor gunshot wound and was "hiding in a group of people," Redd said. Officers also recovered a backpack Redd said was removed from Gamboa by bystanders that contained an "AR-15 style rifle," black clothing and gas mask. Two other armed individuals wearing high-visibility vests who were "possibly part of the event's peacekeeping team" were also detained initially, Redd said.
According to a police booking affidavit, the peacekeepers called out to Gamboa to drop his weapon after drawing their own. "Arturo Gamboa was acting under circumstances evidencing a depraved indifference to human life and knowingly engages in conduct that creates a grave risk of death to another individual and thereby causes the death of the other individual," according to the affidavit. Redd added that the two peacekeepers are not in custody and the one who fired the rounds is cooperating with police.

Killers, but of the absolute coward type.
Which we've come to expect from the Fruits of Islam.Things aren't going well for Iran. While the Islamist nation has managed to kill some civilians by indiscriminately lobbing ballistic missiles at Israel, when it comes to the actual business of winning the war, the scoreboard isn't even close. The latest evidence of that? Iran is now begging for a ceasefire. According to The Wall Street Journal, the Mullahs are looking for an off-ramp, burning up the backchannels to try to get the United States to bail them out.Meanwhile, there are reports that Iran's 86-year-old tyrant the Ayatollah Khamenei, who is in poor health, is being shuffled from underground bunker to underground bunker to keep him safe from Israeli drones, jets, and commandos.I'm not sure if what's left of the Iranian leadership doesn't understand how negotiations work, but they probably should have taken them seriously before Israel began its military operation to destroy their nuclear program. It took only three days for the IDF to establish air superiority over Tehran, and they are now bombing regime targets with impunity. That includes the launchers being used to shoot missiles at Israel. Once that threat is minimized, the Mullahs will have nothing left to respond with.
Iran has been urgently signaling that it seeks an end to hostilities and resumption of talks over its nuclear programs, sending messages to Israel and the U.S. via Arab intermediaries, Middle Eastern and European officials said. In the midst of a ferocious Israeli air campaign, Tehran has told Arab officials it would be open to returning to the negotiating table as long as the U.S. doesn't join the attack, the officials said. Iran also passed messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.
Anna Puma said that there are rumors that Khameini is talking to Russia about allowing him to resettle and hide there. Some are claiming he's already fled. I've heard unconfirmed reports stating that Israel has thoroughly compromised the entire Iranian government and military with double-agents secretly working for Israel, and that this explains the highly accurate intelligence Israel has. And also, its ability smuggle in weapons and even set up drone bases inside Iran.
Donald Trump is said to have already vetoed an Israeli opportunity to kill Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei since the conflict erupted on Friday. But Tehran's 86-year-old supreme leader will still be fearing assassination, hiding out in 'as secure a location as they can manage' as Israel continues to target high ranking officials with deadly precision strikes across the country, onlookers believe. Speaking on the BBC's Newscast over the weekend, The Economist's defence editor, Shashank Joshi, assessed that Khamenei would likely avoid any public appearances as his remaining loyalists work desperately to keep him out of Israel's crosshairs. 'I think they'll be concerned that Israel has clearly penetrated them inside out, so they will be looking to all possible corners from how to keep him safe, perhaps moving him from place to place,' he said.
I've also heard that Iran's uranium enrichment centers are currently unusable because, in addition to serious surface bombing, Israel has also cut all electricity to those nuke factories.
Sources within Iran told London-based Persian-language outlet Iran International that Khamenei was moved to an underground bunker in Lavizan, in northeastern Tehran, in the hours after Israel began its attacks on the capital at the end of last week. He is believed to be holed up with his family, including his son, Mojtaba - who has been pegged as a potential successor to the ageing supreme leader. Israel has already taken out top ranking officials including the chief of staff of the Iranian military and the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Chiefs (IRGC) since Friday. A strike killing Khamenei would be deeply controversial and create untold chaos within Iran's political system. It would also depend on Israeli intelligence being able to locate the supreme leader - and the air force to deliver the crucial blow. ... While Israeli strikes so far have done much to undermine Iran's military and nuclear programme, removing Khamenei 'could cause total upheaval and chaos', he said.
... Asked if there was an Israeli plan to kill Khamenei that had been vetoed by Washington, Netanyahu told Fox News: 'We do what we need to do, we will do what we need to do and I think the United States knows what is good for the United States'.

Two-Tier Keir Starmer held up publication of the report for ten days. He released it today, when he's out of the country on a trip to Canada and won't have to face the British people for a few days.
He had previously claimed that anyone who suggested that Pakistani men were raping and grooming white British girls with impunity -- while British police and government officials covered it up to maintain good relations with the Pakistani community -- was a "far-right" agitator, racist, and conspiracy theorist. Knowing the explosive conclusions of the report, he reversed his long-standing opposition to a full government investigation into the rape gangs and their government enablers, just before packing his bags for Canada.Charlie KirkAt The Spectator, David Shipley writes the Casey Report does not hold back.
@charliekirk11
The British government just released the equivalent of the Cass Report, but for the migrant rape gangs that have ravaged the country over the past two decades. Baroness Louise Casey's report explicitly says that children were allowed to be raped for decades "one, because of the race of the perpetrators [South Asian], and two, because of who the victims were [white working class girls.]" The report calls for the government to track the race and national origin of grooming gang perpetrators. It explicitly flags the fact that migrants from other countries are moving to the UK, claiming asylum, and then preying on British natives. It calls out British government authorities for corruptly pressuring police not to prosecute rapists because doing so could "raise tensions." Incredibly, Keir Starmer's Labour government has said it plans to implement all the report's recommendations, and launch a sweeping national operation to bring grooming gangs to justice. Is the UK finally deciding not to commit slow-motion suicide?
I suspect that what Keir Starmer has planned is Blue-Ribbon Commission Cover-up, to pretend to investigate the mass rapes of British working class girls -- and his own complicity in enabling this invasion of predators -- while just again saying "mistakes were made but also we did everything right." But he now has a problem: the British public is now outraged and no longer content to pretend there's not a problem in the interests of being non-racist "allies" and maintaining "community cohesion." One more cover-up could doom him. Because the actual natives of the UK are getting restless. Two Romani/gypsy immigrants from Bulgaria are accused of attempting to rape a girl in the town of Ballymena in Northern Ireland. Catholics and Protestants are united for once in protesting the illegal immigrants and their victimization of UK natives. Note that the girl who was almost raped is half-black, but the BBC and other Regime Propaganda outlets insist on claiming that the protests are "racist." I think the real reason for the protests is that native-born UK residents understand that the government is willing to sacrifice anything, including the very children of actual UK citizens, on the altar of progressive preference for foreign populations. UK citizens say, by large margins, that the nation is in decline and they fear civil unrest.
Baroness Casey's 'national audit' of child sexual exploitation was published this afternoon, and it's now clear why the government changed course so quickly over the weekend, and why they've immediately accepted all of Casey's recommendations. She doesn't hold back. She identifies the scale of the rape gangs, the specific ethnic groups who make up the majority of perpetrators, and makes it clear how much the state has failed victims over decades.
Casey's recommendation is that ethnicity and nationality data is captured as a matter of course. It seems plausible that this reluctance to record the race of rape gangs was driven by concerns over 'raising tensions'. Casey says she 'heard from police forces that local authorities would discourage them from publicising the successful conviction of perpetrators of group-based child sexual exploitation due to fears of raising tensions'. The report describes deliberate and wilful blindness, with many organisations 'instead of examining whether there is disproportionality in ethnicity... avoiding the topic altogether for fear of appearing racist, raising community tensions or causing community cohesion problems'. In plain terms, public bodies across the country chose to prioritise multiculturalism over the rape of children. Even more explosive is what Casey says about foreign nationals. It is clear that the immigration and asylum systems, and our non-existent borders, are directly causing the organised rape of children. Casey saw 'evidence of around a dozen live, complex' police investigations into rape gangs. She notes that 'a significant proportion of these cases appear to involve suspects who are non-UK nationals and/or who are claiming asylum'. Just last week, 1,505 people arrived on small boats. Casey proposes a national criminal investigation, reviewing accusations of rape which didn't proceed, and a national inquiry. The criminal investigation has already begun. The Home Secretary said today in the Commons that over 800 cases have been identified as being worthy of a full review, and that she expects this number to exceed a thousand soon. The National Crime Agency will lead on these investigations. That is a good thing, given the historic appalling failures by local police forces.
Some 68 per cent of Brits say the country is "in decline" while 65 per cent say it is "already broken". And 76 per cent are worried about the potential for political violence, according to the survey by pollsters Merlin Strategy for the political movement Looking for Growth (LFG). Dr Lawrence Newport, co-founder of LFG, said: "Voters are not just feeling crushed economically, they are now fearful that political violence could ensue if the Government does not reverse the country's decline. "When a system stops delivering and people stop believing, things break. That's where we are now."

All of these leftwing propagandists fired by leftwing media companies for being too stridently partisan all claim the same thing: We're all so excited to no longer have our seven-digit salaries at corporate "news" companies, we're so psyched to now have unpaid gigs on Substack.
Weird. If they loved podcasting this much, they could have entered the field at any time before their much-deserved firings. Seems suspicious. Jake Tapper's buddy Terry Moran is just loving being funemployed. So, so psyched to have 90,000 subscribers on Substack. What a career move. Terry Moran is so completely stoked to now be on Substack that he's complaining about being fired. Weird. You'd think he'd be grateful to be fired, as it finally gave him the chance to get into the podcast game he's so enamored of.
Terry Moran has revealed he is launching a Substack channel just days after he was axed from his anchor job at ABC over anti-Trump social media comments. The 28-year ABC veteran, who was pictured barefoot, pacing and biting his nails outside his home earlier today, took to X - the same platform which ultimately became his downfall - to unveil the new career move. 'For almost 28 years I was a reporter and anchor for ABC News. As you may have heard, I'm not there anymore,' he said, referencing the high-profile axing. Moran was let go following a 'clear violation' of the network's social media and impartiality policy. ... Those comments, though swiftly deleted, ultimately went viral and ABC executives felt they had no choice but to act quickly and respond harshly. If they didn't, the network's impartiality would have come into question, particularly given Trump's outspoken criticism of media bias.
Now, Moran is forging a new path away from traditional media. 'I'm here, with you, on Substack, this amazing space and I can't wait to get at it,' he said. 'To get at the important work we all have to do in this time of such trouble for our country. 'I'm going to be reporting and interviewing and just sharing with you and hoping to hear from you as well.' Moran said it will take 'a few days, maybe longer' to get his profile up and running.
ABC top bosses fired Moran within two days of him sending and deleting the post, citing a 'clear violation' of the network's policies. Speaking to the New York Times on Monday, Moran insisted it was 'not a drunk tweet', and lashed out at the suggestion he was on the outs anyway. He said his former employer's framing of his contract situation was 'incorrect', and accused ABC of 'bailing' on a 'pre-existing oral agreement' that would have seen his contract renewed for three more years. 'We had a deal,' he fumed. The statement from ABC which infuriated Moran read: 'We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran, and based on his recent post -- which was a clear violation of ABC News policies -- we have made the decision to not renew.' ... An insider at ABC previously told Fox News that Moran was quickly ousted from the network because he gave bosses 'no other choice' after sharing his anti-Trump beliefs. 'We f***ing took it seriously and dealt with it pretty g*d***mn quickly,' they said, adding that the network wanted to avoid a drawn-out investigation as they decided to ax him within days of the post. In the days after losing his job, Moran announced a new career move as he launched his own Substack channel.
Moran said he is forging a new path away from traditional media. 'I'm here, with you, on Substack, this amazing space and I can't wait to get at it,' he said.

Stephen L. MillerI don't know about "number one villain" -- there's also Fauci and Daszak and Deborah Birx, and the grifters who wrote the "Proximal Origins" paper in exchange for Fauci's grants, and of course Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer deliberately packed the nursing homes with contagious covid patients to kill the old people -- but she's definitely top ten. Update: Iranian "News" Station Bombed Mid-Rant
I heard that Mossad agents are now operating deep inside Iran. They have enough Iranian allies to permit this.
It does seem like you'd need agents on-scene to plant car bombs.
Multiple Iranian nuclear scientists were reportedly eliminated by car bombs. Israel has assassinated a staggering number of Iranian military leaders and scientists this week, but the car bomb rumors have yet to be confirmed. Israeli officials have so far denied the car bomb reports, which came from Iran, according to Israeli media, so it is unclear if the reports are propaganda against Israel from Iran or if Mossad is simply not admitting their whole plan, which is quite possible. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz did post on X (translation by Google), "I instructed the IDF to issue evacuation notices to residents in Tehran living near weapons production complexes. The Iranian dictator is turning Tehran into Beirut and the residents of Tehran into hostages for the survival of his regime. The IDF continues to peel the skin of the Iranian snake with great force, from nuclear weapons to Tehran and everywhere else." The day before, he posted, "Tehran is burning."

President Donald Trump moved Thursday to eliminate California’s nation-leading vehicle emissions standards, upending strict rules that had become a template for states across the nation to realize their greenhouse gas ambitions. Trump signed three Congressional Review Act resolutions rolling back a trio of California’s rules at a White House signing ceremony. What is extremely important to understand here, this isn’t just another executive order undoing a Biden executive order. Trump and the Republican Congress used the Congressional Review Act, which provides for a legislative reversal of regulatory diktats. Biden’s EPA gave California special permission to regulate the American auto industry. Majorities of the House and Senate voted to reject the EPA’s actions, and President Trump just lawfully eliminated it with his signature. Of course, California and simpatico states are shopping for a District Judge to rule that an unelected bureaucrat’s regulation is irreversible “law” unto eternity, and that the actual legislative branch – with the President’s signature – cannot reverse a bureaucrat’s decree. “California, 10 other states sue to block Trump from killing 2035 EV rules” [Reuters – 6/12/2025]
The states asked a judge to declare that Trump's repeal of waivers issued by the Environmental Protection Agency under President Joe Biden have no effect on state emissions rules. "The Federal Government carried out an illegal playbook designed to evade lawful procedures that might prevent the 'take down' of disfavored California laws," said the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in northern California.California is calling EPA regulations “lawful procedures” while also stating that actual legislation passed by Congress and the President is “an illegal playbook.” When Democrats say that “democracy” is threatened by the Trump administration, what they mean is that governance by unelected bureaucrats is being threatened.
On Friday, SEPTA officials also said an electrical fire caused by a battery in one of the electric buses started the blaze. Smoke from the fire was visible across the city, and residents nearby were urged to stay in their homes and avoid the smoke as much as possible. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health reported that early tests revealed high levels of pollutants. "We know that the air is still not entirely safe," Health Commissioner Dr. Palak Raval-Nelson said on Thursday. "That is why my recommendation as health commissioner is for residents to stay away from the area of the fire."You Tube investigator “MGUY” is to EV fires what Data Republican and DOGE are to NGO money trails. He was able to access records showing exactly which buses on the lot were electric or diesel. The EV buses are in the green rectangle in the picture below. The fire in relation to the electric buses speaks for itself.

The strikes on Tehran’s leadership outposts are likely aimed at destabilizing an Iranian regime that is already on the defensive following Israel's successful opening salvo. That regime could soon face mass unrest if its fragile governing systems break down, and while the hardline government has for years quelled protests against it, the added pressure of a full-scale Israeli assault brings complications."It could certainly be the result because the Iranian regime is very weak," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday after Fox News's Bret Baier asked whether "regime change" was part of Israel's war effort. "They certainly don't have the people. Eighty percent of the people would throw these theological thugs out. I mean, they murder them, they oppress them for 46 years, they yearn for freedom."
The Jewish state has already assassinated more than 20 senior Iranian military leaders, constituting "the entire top tier of Iran’s military command," according to Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. "This is not just retaliation—it’s strategic decapitation."
Closer to home, this past weekend saw the joyous celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US Army and Flag day. Which coincided with President Trump's birthday, all of which led to these offensive "No Kings" demonstrations, the radiant gall of which was visible clear across the known universe considering the totalitarian proclivities of the traitorous tyrants of the Democrat-Left and the 200-plus year of violence and destruction they have unleashed on this nation in their unslakable quest for absolute power and control. Well, there were no kings in sight all weekend but there sure were far too many Queens, mostly in drag.
There are no kings in California, just government bureaucrats who were able to rule more ruthlessly than most kings and forbid even the most ordinary average everyday activities like going to the beach or meeting up with family members or going to school. A king would have been far less onerous than California’s actual rulers. And less corrupt and abusive. The marchers pretending they were protesting against some phantom tyranny and for some even more elusive freedom were doing the bidding of a vast nationwide network and more specifically the local political establishment that goes back to Gov. Newsom. A network that spends each legislative session banning new things. Living in California means discovering new regulations and new losses of liberty every legislative session. And there’s no telling when once again, Californians will be banned from sitting on park benches or going to church or synagogue. Over the mob denouncing the kings we don’t have while submitting to the ‘czars’ that we do, was the transgender flag. No kings. Only drag queens.
Meanwhile in Minnesota, a political appointee of Tampon Tim Walz has been apprehended in the political assassination of a fellow Democrat and his wife
The suspected assassin had “No Kings” flyers in the vehicle he left behind, the Minnesota State Patrol said.Allegedly he's a Trump voter/supporter but frankly I smell a big fat rat here. It looks as if he took sides against the family. The press will do its usual job of not digging very deeply or else hiding any inconvenient facts that go against the preferred narrative. And then scumbag extraordinaire Ron Wyden opened his filthy sewer,
One of Hortman’s final acts as a Democrat lawmaker was voting with Republicans during a special session in the Minnesota Legislature on Tuesday to approve the remaining pieces of the state budget.
“I know that people will be hurt by that vote, and I’m — we worked very hard to try to get a budget deal that wouldn’t include that provision,” Hortman said through tears when reflecting on being the sole DFL vote alongside Republicans in the House.
While investigators were still sorting out what happened in the Minnesota shootings — when the blood was barely dry at the crime scenes, much less cleaned up — a desperate U.S. senator fired a most contemptible shot at Republicans. It wasn't just beneath the honor of a senator, it was beneath contempt. It’s even worse than Minnesota lawmaker Erin Murphy, who just this week — after free health care for illegal aliens was voted down — accused Republicans of “putting a gun to the head” of a woman who, mere days later, was fatally targeted in a shooting carried out by an appointee of Democrat Minnesota Governor Tampon Tim.the utter chutzpocritical gall of this malignant corpse, considering this is happening in his home state
Rioters stormed a building used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Portland, Oregon, late Saturday night. The riot took place after an anti-Trump “No Kings” demonstration in the city. At least four officers were injured in the attack, which included the rioters hurling fireworks, smoke grenades and rocks, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Caller News Foundation.Well, Oregon is screwed, like every other state where Democrats control government for any extended period of time.
Elections have consequences, and so does how people vote. Voting for more taxes, higher fees, and the crazy bills the Democrat supermajority pushes through is costing Oregon thousands of highly-paid citizens who have had enough, and they then leave Oregon for different states. Yet Oregon continues down the same old path to economic disaster. Oregonians cannot figure out that Democrats are all the same; their solution to problems is to raise taxes and fees on everything. For decades, Oregonians have been voting for Democrats to lead Oregon, and nobody noticed that conservatives and Republicans were leaving over economic or freedom issues. The Democrats, Liberals, and progressives just kept on making Oregon less affordable and less desirable to raise a family or retire here. In 2024, most of the nation moved right to elect Donald Trump President of the United States. Oregon voted to move farther Left, giving the Democrats a supermajority in the state legislature. Once the Democrats had the supermajority, they decided that higher taxes, fees, and other things that impacted people's incomes and families were needed to fulfill their mandates. They raised taxes, and the rental of U-Hauls headed out of Oregon rose along with them.
It certainly seems as if Israel and the Iranian people will Please God, have the good fortune or at least the better than even chance to no longer be threatened by the specter of an evil, totalitarian tyranny while our own nation, in whole or in part might be dragged under by Islam's kissing cousin, totalitarian Socialism/Communism and its black hole singularity/epicenter the Democrat Party. Time will tell. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day.

Now it's understandable that someone might not fully grasp the specifics of social roles in 19th century England - at least not if they haven't read Dickens or Austen or other great authors of the period before - but it is worse than that.
Much worse.

And here's the response. Note that this is from a college English major:[Pause.] [Laughs.] So it's like, um, [Pause.] the mud was all in the streets, and we were, no . . . [Pause.] so everything's been like kind of washed around and we might find Megalosaurus bones but he's says they're waddling, um, all up the hill
And this is when the students had access to freely look up anything with which they were unfamiliar.
Kowalski, analysis:Like this subject, most of the problematic readers were not concerned if their literal translations of Bleak House were not coherent, so obvious logical errors never seemed to affect them. In fact, none of the readers in this category ever questioned their own interpretations of figures of speech, no matter how irrational the results. Worse, their inability to understand figurative language was constant, even though most of the subjects had spent at least two years in literature classes that discussed figures of speech.

[@ 4:45 in the video] Egyptians are very well aware of how horrid the Gazans are. That's why they built an almost impregnable barrier between Gaza and Egypt! But these smug and hip leftists make the intellectually flaccid assumption that all Arabs love Gaza, so therefore Egypt will allow them to waltz in unimpeded to perform whatever political theater they wish. And they were wrong! And even better is the autistic troll, desperate to remain in the public consciousness. Never mind that her little stunt was ridiculed, and that it was a complete waste of time, since the amount of aid that Israel is allowing into Gaza dwarfs the pitiful show they put on. And don't forget that Gaza is a war zone....what country would allow a protest vessel to enter their enemy's territory? That's just...moronic!

- The root cause of the huge Google Cloud / Clouflare outage a couple of days ago. (Google)
A null pointer set a Google service into a boot loop when a change was applied without an appropriate policy set. The missing policy should have been caught and the update rejected, but wasn't, because everything is nightmarishly complicated.
