Democrats to Kamala Harris: Get Bent and Get Lost

Democrats have been hinting that Kamala Harris should stop wasting everyone's tim, pretending that she is a credible presidential candidate.

But Kamala Harris is a stupid and a daydrinking drunk, and has not taken the hint.

I know I hit this point a lot, but it is incredible to me that when seeking a job that requires real sobriety, she constantly shows up for planned speeches drunk enough to slur half of her words.

It would be one thing if a reporter caught her out at night, unexpectedly, and she was sloshed. But no, she turns up for planned media opportunities three sheets to the wind. She can't keep herself to just two drinks to loosen her up, she has to drink seven or eight just before a speech.

And the media, of course, pretends they can't tell when someone is slurring their words because they're drunk. Only a medical doctor can make this difficult diagnosis. Which is even more absurd than telling us that we weren't credentialed enough to know that Biden was showing signs of advanced cognitive decline.

That rant over: Because Willie Brown's Brown Willie Warmer won't take a hint, Democrats are escalating.

Now they're not hinting, they're telling her -- some of them under their actual names -- to go away.

'She totally blew it': How Kamala Harris wasted a year to make her case

Harris has offered voters almost nothing in the way of specifics about how she would remake a Democratic Party hungry for change after another term of Donald Trump.

...

For Harris, according to interviews with nearly 20 Democratic Party donors and strategists in California and across the country, it was a missed opportunity to redefine herself -- and ultimately a wasted year.

"She totally blew it," said Doug Herman, who was a lead mail strategist for Barack Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns. "She hasn't gotten into the mix."

Harris has offered voters almost nothing in the way of specifics about how she would remake a Democratic Party hungry for change after another term of Donald Trump. She hasn't spoken to how she would expand her own appeal to the voters who rejected her, and she remains as reticent of media as ever, continuing to favor appearances before friendly audiences and at times drawing fire for limiting access to news organizations altogether. She has entirely sidestepped the ideological civil war consuming the Democrats and has acted more like a party elder at a time when voters and donors are demanding a break with the past.

"I don't see anything different myself. It seems like more of the same to me," said Jim Hodges, the former governor of South Carolina, the first state on the Democratic nominating calendar. "Right now Democratic primary voters ... are very anxious about a Trump acolyte being in the White House in 2028. And they want to select someone who they think has the best chance to win, but who also meets these requisites: fresh, new. I hear a lot of talk about that -- 'we don't need recycled candidates.'"

...

"I am looking at all kinds of candidates for 2028, and she's not necessarily one of them," said Laurie Black, a San Diego-based donor and longtime Harris supporter. "It's not that I don't think she's qualified ... [but] I want to support a winner in 2028, and I just don't know if the vice president has the juice this time."

Another California-based fundraiser could not think of a single person in their circle who wants Harris to run again.

...

But if Harris showed an inclination after leaving office to recalibrate, it never materialized. On policy, Harris has stuck to familiar territory, focusing on affordability, artificial intelligence and voting rights -- all issues she has championed or worked on throughout her career. A person close to Harris said it was more authentic for the former vice president to build on themes she's long been passionate about, rather than turning to new topics.

...

"The one thing that everyone is disappointed in, whether you're a swing voter or you're a base voter, is that they feel like she hasn't done anything with this time," said a Democratic pollster who conducts focus groups with voters across the country and was granted anonymity to discuss internal research. "They just aren't hearing from her at all, and so the only thing they remember from her is losing the last election. That's the most recent memory in their minds."

...

She developed a habit of backtracking on more ambitious campaign proposals after pushback, like her call to eliminate private health insurance in the 2019 Democratic primary and her anti-price gouging plan in 2024.

"Frankly, this is Kamala's biggest weakness -- her inability to have these big ideas," said Herman. "She doesn't have these big policy concepts because it's not been part of who she is. She's an attorney. She is a lawyer who works in prosecutions, and it's not in her bones to do this stuff."

Nor has talking about policy been a strong suit. Accused at times of offering "word salad" in her past campaigns, Harris still defaults to discursive statements of values and calls for conversations around hot-button issues instead of declaring where she stands. She remains reticent to speak with mainstream media outlets, though she's been more open to long-form podcast interviews. And she still relies on well-worn anecdotes from past stump speeches, like recalling attending civil rights protests as a toddler with her mother wheeling her in a stroller.

FWEEDOM!!!

"If I were her, I would never say that stroller story again in my life," said one longtime associate who was granted anonymity to speak candidly. "She's never been very good at updating her memorized riffs."

Below: Kamala has all new salads to toss.

Well, they're kind of new. They're all kind of the same pattern of tautology and circular illogic. She's no Sphinx.

She's very proud of that particular word salad:

Some of her old classics. Even the communist propagandists at the Daily Show lampooned her word salads.

Remember, you have to be a medical doctor, or a Certified Media "Reporter," to say that her speech here is slurred by intoxication.

She can read well enough to know that she's won every single poll of the Democrat primary race since February, mostly by double digits, and that she walks in with the first primary state locked up (SC).

But, sure, AOC getting a close second in NV will undo that completely.

76 The Democrats will have to decide if they're going to run some candidate debates this go around. It's looking like they'll need a couple nights with a half dozen each... given how many people (it has been speculated) are going to run.

Imagine a weeks worth of this shit. I mean, the number of people who have been suggested to run has to be in low 20's. And each one is a "serious" contender.

Just ask them.

1:30pm - 107,784 voted

White - 51.4%
Black - 32.9%

18-29: 3.5%

========

Tangential, these are the totals by demo of early voting in GA (started today) through 1:30.

In 2022, the black vote was 38.5%. In 2024, it was 30.3% but nearly twice the number of votes.

In 2022, Warnock won by 3% in the senate race, and Warnock is bit blacker than Ossoff.

Meh, typical psyop shit you see in the invisible primary for 2028.

SC being the first state gives Kamala a big advantage if she runs and with her name recognition, donors don't really have a veto in her case. She could probably get enough from small donors at this point to run for the early and cheap states at least. Then momentum starts to become an issue for competitors.

So, the pressure from those that don't want a redo of 2024 has to be news hits early on to persuade Kamala that the heat is too much for her if she tries to run again.

I don't get this either, especially considering this is her second chance to be the Kamala the Dems needed in 2024! She got a reprieve to go off and level up her game, and she just keeps goo-gooing. I bet Hillary is throwing shoes at her tv every time that goo-goo girl shows up on it. "I know the answer to that! I could have won in 2024!"

163 153 SC being the first state gives Kamala a big advantage if she runs and with her name recognition, donors don't really have a veto in her case. She could probably get enough from small donors at this point to run for the early and cheap states at least. Then momentum starts to become an issue for competitors.

So, the pressure from those that don't want a redo of 2024 has to be news hits early on to persuade Kamala that the heat is too much for her if she tries to run again.

I don't think it's possible to guess what Thune wants because of the makeup of the Senate and the fact that 5 of the worst GOP senators are leaving office this year (Mitch, Ernst, Cassidy, Cornyn, and Thillis). And then you have Murkowski, who's really just a Democrat.

If he really, really wanted, say, the SAVE Act passed, what could he do to those six Senators to convince them to vote for it?

Or, he could be using them as a shield to not do anything, but Thune did get the OBBB passed with the DHS funding and appropriated through 2028, including cutting off illegals from a host of federal welfare programs like SNAP.

If, with a reshapen majority next year, Thune still can't pass the SAVE Act, I'd place the blame on him.

Not sure that big donors are going to be as useful going forward. I think a lot of the ActBlue and WinRed (Thune and a few others) smurfing is coming from recycled big donor contributions that would be over the limit. And foreign funding as well.

Expect a lot of stories and investigations to start dropping post election over these. Latest example, an 88 year old woman who says she never donated the $150k that Act Blue says she did in over 14000 separate donations over five years. 201 WSJ: Kamala Harris’s Husband Privately Says He Doesn’t Want Her to Run for President Again
Harris has taken steps that would enable a third presidential run, and some donors have directly told her another bid would be a long shot

The only thing that matters in 2028 is that Democrats win. And that once they win they use that power to unfuck everything that’s happened whilst punishing everyone responsible for their crimes.

Sorry, but it probably needs to be a 40-60-year-old ish white, heterosexual male, ideally with military service and of Christian faith.

As depressing as it is, America might just be too fucking backwards at this point for \~30% of the population to vote for a woman, poc, atheist or gay president.

Hope I am wrong and AOC or Pete or someone else revolutionary win in a landslide and shake things up!

IMO, those two things are mutually exclusive. Anybody milquetoast enough to be "vote for me to bring back normal" is not strong enough to unfuck everything that's happened, let alone punish anyone responsible.

225 IMO, those two things are mutually exclusive. Anybody milquetoast enough to be "vote for me to bring back normal" is not strong enough to unfuck everything that's happened, let alone punish anyone responsible.

We have never once run an actual charismatic progressive. Not a single time. No one has any idea what would happen if we did.

The politics of a racial identity coalition become a land mine because this or that group might just stay home if their favorite for that identity group doesn't get the nomination. It is kind of like Jenga Sticks for the Dems nowadays. GOP doesn't have to deal with pleasing Muzzies, black females, AWFLs, Hispanics, alphabet people, secular Jews, atheists, etc. There is even a geographic split between the West Coasters centered on CA and the East Coasters centered on NY and NE.

228 220 I have to assume there are no longer any "normal" Dims to run anything due to wokism.

After Hilary, Biden, Kam and Walz, would the party reject them as not being woke enough?

Sickening. Maybe the next presidental candidate will be a trans? That's all that's missing with alcoholics, dementia and ghey weird governors from MN. Walz may be a trans for all I know as he loves them so much, especially illegal alien trans!

Perhaps that trans looking governor from Maine should run? I would run fast from that freakoid if I saw her in the wild. I don't care that she has a family as dat's a man, baby.

Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at October 13, 2026 04:09 PM (hzuYO)

=====

The media environment on the left will kill anyone running for a prominent Democrat in the primary position who says heterodox things about a host of issues. Immigration for sure. Israel probably now. Trans-stuff, though less important now than a few years ago.

General election, they can hedge, but not the primary.

It's woke or out at this point.

232 The Democrats will have to decide if they're going to run some candidate debates this go around. It's looking like they'll need a couple nights with a half dozen each... given how many people (it has been speculated) are going to run.

Imagine a weeks worth of this shit. I mean, the number of people who have been suggested to run has to be in low 20's. And each one is a "serious" contender.

Just ask them.

Posted by: Braenyard - some Absent Friends are more equal than others _ at October 13, 2026 03:32 PM (+UcOf)

I may get willowed, so I'll repost later. Campaigning takes a lot of work. I've got a small but great team volunteering their time, but I'm spending 8-10 hours a day either coming up with content, making short videos with my cellphone at various locations, etc. I must say that I have a new respect for politicians that look smooth in front of a camera. I'm reading handmade cue cards for my talks, and it shows sometimes.

I received my $25K from the state, and I've got three weeks to spend it. I only have time for 2 mailers for my three towns, and I'm learning to lean into social for the rest. The debate gave us a lot of positive momentum. I'm speaking at the Weston RTC tonight, so we'll see how that goes. Republicans as a whole are very beaten up here, so the challenge is to give them a reason to turn out. Not easy at all.

Staying positive, however. I really think I can win this.

Too many of our younger citizens seem to believe anything that occurred more than 5 days ago is ancient history and they don't care about any history stuff. This is one reason The Media needs to broadcast a new outrageous thing Trump said or did every 16 hours or so. The younger ones quickly forget the current Trump outrage after a few hours and return to watching TikTok videos.

269 There's a weird fact to the "we've never run a charismatic progressive" angle.

Progressivism is strangely anti-charisma at its core. It's a LARP of revolution. Charisma requires a certain ease, or comfort, to be instilled in the mark. Like how a con man would.

Revolution requires the opposite. You can't be charismatic when you're trying to convince your mark that everything is fucked and hope is lost and the only option left is to burn shit down and support a complete nobody outsider who has nothing to do with any of this mess.

Notice how the only people who ever think communists have "charisma" are the people who never had to live under them. Che Guevara as a hippie on a t-shirt ain't murdering your cousins.

270 Even if Kamala wasn't tossing word salads left and right and she was as eloquent as Cicero, her little pithy mottos for life she trots out are basically beauty queen answers to questions at the pageant.

But Kamala always screws up the landing.
