John D. Davidson for The Federalist:
Below, Mollie Hemingway testifies about "censorship tools" like Newsgard or the "Center for Countering Digital Hate" for targeting her site for an advertising boycott. The Federalist was deemed a "hate" publication for noting that the Black Lives Matter riots were not in fact "mostly peaceful," and then deemed to be engaging in disinformation for saying, of the media, "They lie, and they lie, and they lie, and then they lie some more." She notes that 70% of the public agrees with this sentiment, stating they have little or no trust of the media. But you can't say that and then hope that your writing will be treated like the writing of anyone else -- that is, that you can get advertising to support yourself while writing, because government-funded, government cut-out groups will starve you of any revenue until you just stop writing, Insolent Peasant.
Democrats had a tough time at a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing yesterday on the censorship industrial complex. They had to argue there was never any censorship during the Biden administration (including during Covid!) and that free speech and freedom of the press were never threatened by the partnership of government agencies with private institutions to combat "disinformation." After all, the government was just trying to catch foreign disinformation operations, they argued, so any censorship that did happen was necessary and proper. Put another way, the censorship industrial complex never happened -- and if it did it was a good thing and the targets deserved it. At one point early on in the hearing, Sen. Peter Welch, D-Vt., more or less came right out and said as much. While his staff displayed a large placard showing a screenshot of a piece I wrote in February 2023 about the Twitter Files -- with "NOT TRUE" stamped across the screenshot in read letters -- Welch claimed that there was nothing whatsoever to the Twitter Files story. Government funding that went to private entities for "disinformation" monitoring, he said, was actually "to help counter foreign disinformation." All the government did, in Welch's telling, was alert Twitter when users violated the company's own terms of service and community guidelines. Nothing to see here! If anything is "NOT TRUE," it's this absurd characterization of what the Twitter Files actually revealed. Released in tranches to a group of journalists shortly after Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022, the Twitter Files exposed a coordinated and sustained effort by the intelligence community to co-opt and deputize social media platforms like Twitter into censoring American citizens. Basically, it was a scheme to allow the government to censor Americans in a way that would have been straightforwardly unconstitutional if the feds had tried to do it directly. The Hunter Biden laptop story is a prime example of how this worked. Long before The New York Post published its first bombshell scoop on the laptop in October 2020 there had been an organized effort by the intelligence community to discredit leaked information about Hunter Biden. Why? Because the FBI had been in possession of the laptop since the previous December when the agency seized it from a computer repair shop in Delaware. The FBI already knew the laptop contained damning evidence of the younger Biden's criminal activity ranging from illegal drug use to foreign corruption and influence-peddling on behalf of his father. The FBI and the intelligence community knew all of this might come out ahead of the presidential election, so for months it had been priming top officials at Twitter and Facebook to dismiss news reports about Hunter Biden as "hack-and-leak" operations by hostile foreign actors. The FBI had even established a special one-way communications channel with Twitter to send documents to the company about supposed foreign disinformation. As part of this setup, the FBI arranged for top Twitter officials to get special security clearances so the agency could share intelligence about possible foreign threats to the upcoming presidential election. Of course this was all a ruse to groom and pressure Twitter into censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story when it inevitably appeared, which is exactly what the company did -- along with Facebook and every major media outlet in America. Welch was either totally unaware of this background or simply chose to clumsily misrepresent it. He was similarly dishonest or out of his depth when discussing other aspects of the censorship industrial complex, displaying an almost comical level of naiveté about how online censorship works.

Unfortunately we are.
A commenter linked a xeet in which the user speculated that Jeffrey Goldberg, Real Reporter and Totally Not a Democrat Political Operative, held on to a "scoop" he had two weeks ago to release it on the day that Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe testified before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, for the purpose of badgering Trump officials into not using Signal. Which Biden approved the use of, btw. And they did this so that their allies in the Administration could once again spy on them using hacker back-doors into the government's email systems. Why hold on to a fake "scoop" for so long if not for a political attack purpose? People release scoops ASAP because there's always the chance someone will out-scoop you first. How did Jeffrey Goldberg know he wasn't the only person accidentally added to the chat? So no, he held it for one reason only, to give his Democrat bosses time to plan a coordinated op.Matt Margolis reports that Little Jeffrey has trouble even responding to the Tough and Probing Questions offered by... The Bulwark. The Administration says that none of the texts Jeffrey Goldberg were classified, which means they are officially un-classified and Jeffrey Goldberg can legally release them. Instead, he plays a game where he insists that he saw all sorts of "war plans" and Top Secrets but he can't say what they were because Sacred Honor compels him. The Bulwark's nasty Professional Homosexual Tim Miller (the others are hobbyists only) has trouble understanding why Goldberg just won't release the Totally Classified Texts given that the Administration says they're not classified at all.
The Democrats' latest effort to manufacture a Trump administration scandal blew up in their faces this week after Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, reported that he was somehow included in an encrypted Signal chat group with top administration officials discussing a planned attack on Houthi rebels in Yemen. According to Goldberg, officials discussed classified and/or top-secret war plans. No one disputes that Goldberg was erroneously included in the chat, but the real issue is whether classified or top-secret war plans were actually discussed. CIA Director John Ratcliffe and DNI Director Tulsi Gabbard testified that nothing classified or top secret was discussed in the chat. Others in the administration have said the same thing. Goldberg had been given the opening to release the chats in their entirety to prove them wrong. But he insisted that he wouldn't. During an interview on The Bulwark Podcast with Tim Miller, Goldberg repeatedly evaded calls to produce evidence, raising serious questions about the credibility of his claims. Miller directly challenged Goldberg, pointing out that top Trump administration officials had accused him of lying. "Now, the Secretary of Defense and the White House Press Secretary have said you're lying, have said there are no war plans there, have said there's no classified information," Miller stated. "So the obvious question is, shouldn't you now demonstrate it? Shouldn't you publish the text?" Goldberg flatly refused. "No, because they're wrong. They're wrong," he insisted, offering no proof to back up his claims. Here's the problem with that claim: In the encrypted chat, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz explicitly mentioned the participants' "high side" inboxes, a reference to the classified system. This made it clear they knew certain topics couldn't be discussed on the Signal platform. Miller pressed Goldberg further in the interview, asking whether he would at least provide the alleged messages to congressional intelligence committees. Instead of responding substantively, Goldberg deflected with sarcasm. "Wow. What? You wanna become my lawyer?" he quipped with an annoyed tone. He clearly wasn't comfortable with the line of questioning, and I got the sense he was hiding something. As the conversation continued, Goldberg struggled to justify his refusal to produce evidence, resorting to vague justifications. "Just because they're irresponsible with material doesn't mean that I'm gonna be irresponsible with this material," he said. He further attempted to cast doubt on the administration's credibility, suggesting officials were merely trying to "get out of a jam." In a final attempt to defend his decision, Goldberg framed it as a matter of principle. "I have a pretty clear standard in my own behavior of what I consider... information that I consider to be in the public interest, even if it's technically classified or not," he said, adding that he was "sticking to my principles."Muh Prinzibuhls! The fake reporter claims that his journalistic prinzibuhls demand that he not release information which the government says is not classified and therefore perfectly legal to report. Please brah, you gotta believe me brah, those texts were totally filled with Top Secret War Plans, I just can't prove it brah, muh prinzibuhls won't allow me to vindicate my name, you just have to believe me brah.

I don't think he can do this, or else Biden would have done the opposite before 2024, mandating that states accept any votes from anyone, no ID required.
I appreciate the sentiment here but I don't think this one will survive. This is interesting:
President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order aimed at restoring confidence in America's elections by enforcing voter ID, cracking down on non-citizen voting, and ensuring compliance with existing federal election laws. Key Details: The executive order criticizes the United States for falling behind other nations in securing its elections, noting that while India and Brazil use biometric voter ID systems, many U.S. states rely on self-attestation. Trump ordered the Election Assistance Commission to update the national voter registration form to require "documentary proof of United States citizenship," including passports or REAL ID-compliant documents.
The order also instructs the Department of Justice to crack down on states that count ballots received after Election Day, stating that counting late ballots is akin to letting someone "vote in person at a former voting precinct" days after polls close. ... Trump's directive enforces federal laws already on the books, such as 2 U.S.C. sec. 7 and 3 U.S.C. sec. 1, which establish a uniform national Election Day. Referencing a 2024 Fifth Circuit ruling, the order states that ballots must be both cast and received by Election Day. "This is like allowing persons who arrive 3 days after Election Day, perhaps after a winner has been declared, to vote in person... which would be absurd," the order reads. It wouldn't be a Trump executive order without a deadly threat to the left's corrupt money:
... To assist states in cleaning up voter rolls, Trump directed the Department of Homeland Security to provide access to immigration databases and mandated that the Social Security Administration share death and identity data. The Attorney General is instructed to "prioritize enforcement" of statutes that prohibit non-citizens from registering or voting and to coordinate with state officials to prosecute violations. The order also targets election infrastructure and voting machines, requiring that all voting systems include "a voter-verifiable paper record" and banning systems that use barcodes or QR codes to contain vote data, except for accessibility needs. The Election Assistance Commission is instructed to decertify equipment that fails to meet new integrity standards within 180 days.
As you probably know, ActBlue is very credibly accused of deliberate weakening its donor information protocols to allow foreigners (including foreign intelligence operatives) to donate to Democrats while assigning the donation to a "smurf," an American citizen whose name is being hijacked to launder illegal foreign political donations. Happy Wednesday. I want to thank whichever commenter told me that March 25 was the "Tolkein Reading Day" because it's the official day the Ring was destroyed. That got me amped up to power through and finish it -- and like magic, I then saw in the text repeated statements that the Ring was destroyed on March 25. And now-- Hound of the Baskervilles.
The executive order further aims to eliminate foreign interference by enforcing 52 U.S.C. sec. 30121, which bans foreign contributions to federal, state, or local elections. Trump highlighted the abuse of ballot initiative spending loopholes and committed federal enforcement resources to curtail this influence, declaring that "foreign nationals and non-governmental organizations have taken advantage of loopholes... undermining the franchise." Through information-sharing agreements, increased prosecution, and withholding of federal funds to uncooperative states, the order seeks to hold jurisdictions accountable for maintaining accurate voter rolls and enforcing citizenship requirements.

Top intelligence officials from the Trump administration strongly pushed back Tuesday on claims that classified material was shared in a Signal chat group about America’s attack plans on Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. The comments were made during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing less than 24 hours after The Atlantic’s Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg published a story about the Signal chat group after he was accidentally included in the group and was able to monitor communications between officials. CIA Director John Ratcliffe said the encrypted app was loaded onto his computer by technicians at the agency after he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
Maybe the so-called leak to Jeffrey Goldberg wasn't a leak, so much as a ruse/plant of false info to get our enemies to reveal themselves to our assets. “One of the things that I was briefed on very early was by the CIA records management folks about the use of Signal as a permissible work use — it is,” Ratcliffe told Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA). “That is a practice that preceded the current administration to the Biden junta.” He said that his communications in the group were “entirely permissible and lawful and did not include classified information.” Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard subsequently told Warner that “there was no classified material that was shared in that Signal chat.”
A few things to bear in mind. First, the Houthis are aligned with if not, like Hamas and other terror groups in the Middle East, directly controlled and funded by Iran. The goal of Foggy Bottom and the Deep State especially since Obama and Joey Sponge-Brain/Shits-Pants occupied the White House has been to help them become the major power player in the Middle East even if it meant or because it specifically meant destroying the state of Israel. The emergence and now resurgence of Donald Trump has not only put a serious crimp in those plans but at long last actually threatens the toppling of the Iranian Mullahocracy after 45 years of it spilling rivers of blood all over the world - Thank you Jimmy Carter! And Trump might actually end the disastrous, yet extremely profitable for the globalists Ukraine/Russia war.
This is the same CIA and State Dept. that was up to its corrupt turkey neck in manufacturing the Russia Collusion Hoax at the behest of and/or approval of Hillary Clinton. The same CIA that somehow however many years ago allowed an avowed communist, John Brennan to become an operative/agent and then ultimately, with Obama, the bastard son of Stalinist Frank Marshall Davis to actually rise to become the head of the agency. Remember that the CIA along with other intel agents provoatueur domestic and foreign (Strzok, Steele, Halper, et al) manufactured and then pimped the so called Steele dossier as evidence to be used to impeach and remove Donald Trump from office via leaks to the press as the pre-planted smoking gun, of which Jeffrey Goldberg is a part.
So, with all that as a set up, let me just state right out, if Waltz, Hegseth, Gabbard and anyone on Trump's Nat Sec team unwittingly or wittingly allowed Goldberg or for that matter any unauthorized/cleared party to be in on that call, it is indeed a very serious breach of security and must be dealt with swiftly and surely. Whether Waltz, Hegseth and/or Gabbard have to fall on their swords is up for debate.
But let me put this out there. Given the innate hatred of Donald Trump, as well as for the State of Israel and the willingness if not eagerness to go so far as to allow American servicemen to be slaughtered if it dings Trump and throws a wrench into his foreign (and domestic) policy goals, the propgandists in the legacy media will aid and abet our enemies any way they can. Perhaps, knowing this, is it not reasonable to speculate that Waltz, Hegseth, Gabbard or underlings allowed Golberg in on the call knowing he'd publish the secrets, in the hopes that somehow the Houthis/Iranians would get the info and in so doing, make moves that our reconnaissance assets (satellites, Sig Int et al) would pick up on and in so doing reveal their deposition and strength to us beforehand.
I'm not saying this is what happened though I sure hope something like this might have been what happened. If not, then heads have got to roll. Naturally, if underlings were the guilty party, and Musk moves to DOGE them and the rest of Langley, you can just see the reactions from the usual quarters. I hope and pray that our servicemen and women, overt and covert are not put in any danger as a result of this. But that said, and it cannot be said often or loudly enough, The greatest threat to America's national security and our survival as a nation and society, was is and always will be from the anti-American Leftist/Socialist?progrssive movement and its political epicenter in the Democrat Party They are the ones emptying the prisons, flooding the country with foreign criminals as well as terrorists and doing all they can to keep them here. Let alone committing and fomenting acts of domestic political terrorism against any and all of their perceived enemies. Here's hoping that one day, all that will remain of Jasmine Crockett is a set of false eyelashes sticking out of a puddle of Viper vomitus, to indicate she has returned from whence she was spawned. Ditto her compatriots and her Party.
Ah yes, the party of peace love and understanding! And sanity. . .
A gender-confused man has been arrested on terrorism charges for threatening to murder a church full of Christians in Tennessee last weekend, adding to the lost and ever-growing list of violent, gender-deluded people getting nabbed for wanting to kill innocent people. Thankfully, unlike in other instances, this guy was caught before he managed to actually harm anyone. WREG reports police were called to St. Louis Catholic Church in Memphis last Sunday by parishioners, who said a man - later identified as 30-year-old Zachary Vizee Liberto - had gotten into a verbal spat with one congregant before vandalizing the church’s baptismal pool. Liberto then allegedly sent an email to one of the church members threatening to cause “mass casualties” and vowing to “butcher people in that church with a machete,” the report adds. . . . . . According to Andy Ngo on the Post Millennial, "Liberto was seen posing in women's attire and makeup, and writing about 'how good it feels to be a girl' and 'sissy hypnosis,' (a type of [porn] genre that claims to hypnotize male viewers into self-feminization)." Ngo also provided photos Liberto had posted to social media showing him in feminine hairstyles and makeup.Hmm? Jasmine Crockett in drag? And. . . A gentle reminder to my fellow Wisconsinites to get out and vote early, early absentee or whatever for Eric Schimel or on Election Day next Tuesday. Earlier is more better. And often! And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day.

Jeff bought a new dishwasher.
To use even something as simple as a rinse cycle, you have to connect it to wifi, download the app, and set up an online account.
For a dishwasher.
My washing machine requires wifi and an app to set up custom wash cycles, so... I never use custom wash cycles. I set it to the wash/dry setting (it's a combination washer/dryer) and it does its thing.
My dishwasher has buttons.
Apparently that's now a $400 option.

A third of all federal judges on the DC district court were born outside the United States.
What a surprise. All day long I've dreaded having to even comment on this story because it's so preposterously trivial. Matt Vespa:
The United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the source of many of the cases interfering with President Donald Trump's authority, has 15 judges, (Counting Chief Judge James Boasberg) and five of them were born outside the United States. While country of origin doesn't come up in most jobs, it is worth asking if judges with ties to foreign nations and cultures are the right ones to make decisions affecting the U.S. military or immigration. The concept of foreign-born judges is a newer phenomenon in this district. In addition to the 15 main judges, the D.C. District has 10 older, senior judges who still occasionally hear cases in the district. This group, nominated as far back as Ronald Reagan the 1980s, were all born in the U.S. But starting in 2014, former President Barack Obama appointed Judge Tanya Sue Chutkan, born in Kingston, Jamaica. She was in the U.S. by 1979, attending George Washington University. Before sitting on federal court, she had no experience as a judge. Chutkan is overseeing the legal challenge to DOGE's work to slash excess government spending. Obama also appointed Judge Amit P. Mehta to the D.C. court. Mehta also had no previous experience as a judge. Mehta was born in Patan, Gujarat, India. He and his parents came to the U.S. when he was a baby, age one. He was raised in Maryland. Mehta will oversee four January 6 civil cases that aim to blame Trump for injuries and squeeze money, court time, and political embarrassment out of him. The other three foreign born judges were nominated by former President Joe Biden.
So, what the hell is this story now? It's a warning that perhaps more administrative due diligence should be applied when creating these group chats on encrypted and secure messenger apps. Still, while alarming at first, the hubbub is dying down quickly. This story in The Atlantic that secret war plans were disclosed to known anti-Trump fake news writer Jeffrey Goldberg, who was accidentally added to the group, is falling apart faster than a skiff made of paper. It turns out that serial hoaxer Jeffrey Goldberg, of the "You gotta believe me brah, Trump totally called veterans 'suckers and losers,' I'm telling you brah" hoax, claimed he received "classified information" when some unknown staffer accidentally added his name to a group Signal chat about the Houthis. He said he wouldn't reveal the classified information, but you gotta believe me brah, I totally received it, I just can't say what it was brah, it's so classified that Sacred Honor compels my silence. Well Pete Hegseth and Tulsi Gabbard have told him put up or shut up, giving him permission to reveal this supposedly super-classified information that he's telling us is so classified he can't talk about it. And he's not revealing what it was, because it was nothing, and he's another fucking liar at Steve Jobs' AWFL wife's vanity magazine The Atlantic. I don't even understand what I'm supposed to be so upset by: If everything the liar Jeffrey Goldberg said was true, which it isn't because all he does is lie on behalf of the neocon sect of the Democrat Party establishment, then what happened was that someone accidentally added him to a group chat he shouldn't have been added to and he saw some exchanges between some top Trump officials. So someone did an oopsie with a fat finger, and -- what? Trump should resign? Fire Tulsi Gabbard? Fire Pete Hegseth? Why? It gets worse when you consider Sean Davis' claim that it was Jeffrey Goldberg's friend, who works for Trump negotiator Michael Waltz, who was responsible for accidentally adding Goldberg. Goldberg ignores that and just asserts, insanely, that Pete Hegseth should resign for a very minor glitch committed by, Sean Davis alleges, Goldberg's fucking pal.
Kurt SchlichterThis is just another hysterical meltdown by the pill-popping anxiety-ridden neurotics of the liberal non-thinking class looking for a new Russia Russia Russia fake scandal to scream about while collecting clickbait money from their degenerate mentally-ill readers/victims. I don't even think this rates this response. This is sub-nothing. Hey, lefty pill-poppers and impotent alcoholics and closet-cases: Go fuck yourselves to death. Here, let me propose what the left always proposes when the bureaucracy commits actual crimes: We mustn't fire anyone, we must reform the procedures!!! Australian universities are so dependent on US welfare that they've called for a crisis meeting in the wake of Trump's cuts to USAID.
@KurtSchlichter The Signal chat thing is a gut check for alleged cons. Nothing significant was revealed. Worst case, it was a mistake that will never happen again. More likely, a proven liar has now lied about at least some of it. And yet, so many people are delighted to have the opportunity to freak out about something that Trump administration did. It's bizarre how they play along with leftist narratives. The answer to your enemies is to give them nothing. Nothing. You're not being principled. You're not demonstrating integrity. You're showing weakness. Never ever ever give them the head of one of your allies. Understand that your enemies never get anything except pain and mockery. There's no such thing as even handedness. Either win or you lose. I choose winning. You do you.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has faced calls to respond after the Trump administration cut funding to seven Australian universities. The administration's move came after US agencies asked Australian researchers to justify why they should continue receiving American research grants. The surveys they received asked several questions including whether the researchers had received funding from China, and if their university had recognised only two sexes - male and female. The institutions which have had their funding cut are the Australian National University, Monash University, University of Technology Sydney, University of NSW, Charles Darwin University, Macquarie University and UNSW. Australian Academy of Science chief executive Anna-Maria Arabia told the Australian Financial Review the federal government had to be quicker to respond to the cuts rather than choosing to "wait and see". "It is incumbent on the prime minister to call an emergency meeting of the National Science and Technology Council, which he chairs, compelling all ministers to the table to share intel and comprehensively assess the extent of Australia's exposure to a reduction in US R&D investment across portfolios," Ms Arabia said. "The consequences of inaction are profound with consequences for every Australian's way of life," she said.Let me get this off my chest: It is in fact racist that we continue to pump trillions in US taxpayer dollars to these relatively well-off white layabouts in Europe and Australia, and I demand an END to this racist welfare regime. Cut them all off. Make these sexually-twisted white (for the moment) perpetual adolescents pay their own way for the first time in their lives. I can't believe this, but the race hustler fired from MSNBC, Tiffany Cross, went on CNN to attack Trump for deporting violent criminals while, get this, playing the race card. It's almost as if -- as if -- she's an extremely stupid robot whose one trick is blaming The White Man.

President Trump on Tuesday pardoned former first son Hunter Biden's business partner Devon Archer, who was convicted of swindling an American Indian tribe -- saying he was treated "very unfairly." Archer became a key informant for House Republicans investigating then-President Joe Biden's role in his family's foreign business dealings and provided significant information incriminating the elder Biden, fueling an impeachment inquiry into alleged corruption.
"I think he was treated very unfairly," Trump said before signing the pardon at the White House. "And I looked at the record, studied the record, and he was a victim of a crime, as far as I'm concerned. So we're going to undo that." Trump added: "Congratulations, Devon!!" Archer, a father of three, told The Post he was grateful to Trump and his family for sticking by him -- and also to Tony Bobulinski, another former Biden family associate who came forward to corroborate information about different foreign dealings allegedly involving Joe Biden. "I want to extend my deepest thanks to President Trump. I am grateful to the president for recognizing that I was the victim of a convoluted lawfare effort intended to destroy and silence me," Archer said. "Like so many people, my life was devastated by the Biden family's selfish disregard for the truth and for the peace of mind and happiness of others. The Bidens talk about justice, but they don't mean it."
Weird how they decided to go after the guy blowing the whistle on the Biden Crime Family rather than the Biden Crime Family itself.

@amuseI don't really care about this issue, to be honest. But here's what I do care about: 1, Big Pharma does not advertise on television to influence consumers, who cannot of course just buy the medications themselves. (It can tell consumers to suggest the drug to a doctor, but there are other ways to market to doctors, and of course Big Pharma does that too.) Big Pharma advertises on television to influence the media, because the media would die without their trillions in advertising dolars.
@amuse MAHA: RFK Jr. is moving to ban Big Pharma advertising on TV, a direct strike at the lifeblood of networks like CNN, MSNBC, & CNBC, where Big Pharma bankrolls the programming generating 75% of ad revenue. The US is 1 of 2 countries that still allow them.
The Vigilant FoxLiz Wheeler says that the media will literally go bankrupt if Big Pharma is banned from advertising. They're on life support as it is.
@VigilantFox Why are there so many pharma ads on TV? HINT: It's not to sell drugs. A TV news president admitted to RFK Jr. that any host allowing him to speak negatively about Big Pharma on air would be FIRED because "this is where our advertisers are." Jaws dropped when former pharma insider @CalleyMeans
told Tucker Carlson on his show, "The news ad spending from pharma is a public relations lobbying tactic, essentially to BUY OFF the news... The media plays referee because they're funded by so on all levels." There are only two countries that allow pharma ads on TV: one is the United States, and the other is New Zealand. And those pharma ads make up a BIG chunk of money. RFK Jr. was told by a network executive that "during non-election years, during some months, up to 70% of his news division revenues are coming from pharma." During the 1950s and 1960s, when evidence about the dangers of smoking began to emerge, news organizations hesitated to expose Big Tobacco because they depended on the industry for its ad revenue. Now, the same conflict exists today with the pharmaceutical industry and TV news. This is why the mainstream media is in full-blown PANIC over RFK Jr.'s HHS appointment. They know that once he gets in, he is going to END pharma ads on TV. And that's going to be a devastating blow to their wallets.
Liz Wheeler
@Liz_Wheeler If reports are true--and I pray they are--that RFK Jr. is gonna ban Big Pharma ads on TV, a massive society earthquake is about to happen on two fronts. #1: The corporate media will fail. You will watch before your very eyes as highly paid MSM anchors are fired, networks panic & some shut down, and paychecks aren't paid. The entire business of MSM is a fake business. It's artificially propped up by massive ad dollars from Pharma ads. Not because of the return on investment that Pharma sees peddling their drugs on TV, but rather because of WHY Pharma buys so many TV ads in the first place, which is to prevent reporting on Pharma corruption. #2: Accordingly, when the gravy chain of Pharma ad dollars to TV networks stops, we will suddenly see reporting on the corruption of Big Pharma, drugs, vaccines, medical associations like AAP & AMA, and govt regulation agencies like CDC & FDA--reporting that was previously prohibited because the ad money Pharma paid networks was really just a pay off for silence. Pharma knew they didn't sell drugs off those commercials, it was a money laundering scheme to keep reporters silent about the abuses coming out of Pharma. Even Roger Ailes once admitted he didn't let his people on Fox report negatively on Pharma because it would destroy their bottom line. If reports are true--and I pray they are--that RFK Jr. is gonna ban Pharma ads on TV, the double revolution of Big Pharma & MSM is about to begin. Can't wait.

Coincidence? Or conspiracy?
While I find it hard to believe that Hamas would risk spoiling its sneak attack by giving its overseas embedded terror propaganda agents an explicit advanced notice of a coming slaughter, I can believe that they would tell their operatives "Something big is coming, start the propaganda machine up." I think Al Qaeda chatter spoke of a coming "birthday cake" just before the 9/11 attack. Is this what happened? Or did the various pro-terror campus groups just coincidentally start their propaganda ops shortly before the terror attack? A coincidence is possible, for the disgusting reason that Hamas is almost always launching terror attacks, or at least plotting them and building bombs for them. But the DOJ and FBI need to subpoena all of these groups' communications and financing. From the NY Post:The families of hostages kidnapped by Hamas during the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack are suing detained Columbia University protest leader Mahmoud Khalil and several student groups for allegedly "aiding and abetting Hamas' continuing acts of international terrorism." The lawsuit, filed on Monday in Manhattan federal court, names Khalil as one of the heads of the anti-Israel protests that engulfed the Morningside Heights campus last year, which the families claimed effectively helped to spread Hamas' hateful rhetoric. "Defendants in this case are Hamas' propaganda arm in New York City and on the Columbia University campus," the suit states. "Their self-described acts in furtherance of their goals to assist Hamas have included terrorizing and assaulting Jewish students, unlawfully taking over and damaging public and university property on Columbia's campus, and physically assaulting Columbia University employees," the families added. ... Along with Khalil, the lawsuit names Nerdeen Kiswani of Within Our Lifetime-United For Palestine, Maryam Alwan of the Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine and Cameron Jones, of the Columbia-Barnard Jewish Voice for Peace as defendants in the case. Representatives for the defendants could not be reached for comment.Speaking of Khalil Mahmoud: As he's suing to overturn Trump's completely-legal, completely-within-his-power-as-Chief-Foreign-Policy-Officer deportation order, it has emerged he hid his association with the Hamas-controlled fake UN "aid" agency UNRWA. He also refused to disclose that he was a leader in the antisemitic "Columbia University Apartheid Divest" group. When they ask you to disclose all groups you're associated with for a green card, they're not really asking. They're ordering you to make maximum disclosures so that your case can be properly vetted. If you withhold that information, you're defrauding the United States, and you're a criminal. That's a straight-up lie told on his green card application, and an automatic disqualifier from keeping that green card.
Nerdeen Kiswani was accused of leading the most vocal support for Hamas. The families allege that as Hamas launched its brutal attack, where the terror group killed about 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 others, it put out a message abroad for it's supporters to "join the battle in any way they can." The lawsuit accuses Khalil, Kiswani, Alwan and Jones of taking up the call and preparing to launch anti-Israel rallies at Columbia University. "Associational Defendants have distributed pro-terror propaganda produced by and literally stamped with the logo of the 'Hamas Media Office,' " the filing claims. ... It also goes as far as to suggest that some of the defendants had prior knowledge of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack because of the Columbia SJP's inclusion in a signed statement supporting Hamas just hours before the massacre. "Three minutes before Hamas began its attack on October 7, Columbia SJP posted on Instagram 'We are back!!' and announced its first meeting of the semester would be announced and that viewers should 'Stay tuned,'" according to the suit. The plaintiffs ultimately alleged that every time Hamas and its allies would put out a call for action on social media, the student groups would answer, with the encampment at Columbia's campus and the Hamilton Hall takeover serving as prime examples. The suit argues that the defendants are not protected under the constitutional right to free speech and protest, claiming their actions were coordinated with a foreign terrorist group. "Associational Defendants are not independent advocates; they are expert propagandists and recruiters for international foreign terrorist organizations and nation-state proxies operating in plain sight in New York City." the lawsuit adds, claiming the defendants violated America's Antiterrorism Act. The lawsuit seeks to have the defendants charged with violating the law, as well as paying unspecified damages to the plaintiffs.
The Trump administration has accused Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University student and anti-Israel protester, of failing to disclose his employment with a United Nations Palestinian relief agency on his visa application, alleging this omission warrants deportation. Khalil, a 30-year-old green card holder who is married to a U.S. citizen, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials on March 8. In a court brief dated Sunday, the U.S. government outlined its arguments for keeping Khalil in custody while his removal proceedings continue. The department says Khalil fraudulently applied to change his immigration status without fully disclosing his "membership in certain organization," which could be grounds for deportation. Among those organizations was the United Nation's Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The relief agency was infamously stripped of tens of millions of dollars in federal funding after Israel claimed that 12 of its members took part in Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel. The DOJ says Khalil did not disclose that he was a political officer of UNRWA from June 2023-Nov.. 2023. The DOJ also says Khalil did not reveal he was working at the Syria office in the British embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, when he applied for a visa or that he was a member of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), which led anti-Israel protests at the Ivy League institution. The DOJ said Sunday that the fact he allegedly lied on his application provided an "independent basis" to deport him, overriding free speech rights. "Regardless of his allegations concerning political speech, Khalil withheld membership in certain organizations and failed to disclose continuing employment by the Syria Office in the British Embassy in Beirut when he submitted his adjustment of status application," they said. "It is black-letter law that misrepresentations in this context are not protected speech."Get. The F***. Out of my country, smelly terrorist scum.

House Republicans will hold hearings on activist judges presuming to rule the country as unelected presidents, for whatever that's worth.
Judge Boasberg allows Tren de Aragua gangsters to appeal deportations A federal judge in Washington, D.C., ruled Monday that Venezuelan nationals allegedly tied to the notorious Tren de Aragua gang must be allowed to appeal their deportations under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. The decision halts the Trump administration's efforts to swiftly remove over 200 individuals suspected of gang affiliation, prompting strong backlash from top White House officials. Key Details: Judge James Boasberg ruled that suspected Tren de Aragua members must be granted individual hearings before deportation. Over 200 Venezuelan nationals have already been detained and deported to a facility in El Salvador under President Trump's orders. The administration plans to appeal Boasberg's decision and is pushing back on what it sees as judicial overreach into matters of national security.
The House Judiciary Committee, led by Rep. Jim Jordan, is set to hold hearings next week on "activist judges" issuing nationwide injunctions against the Trump administration's policies. The move comes as President Trump calls for the impeachment of a federal judge who halted his deportation efforts. Key Details: The Judiciary Committee's hearing will focus on district court judges blocking Trump's policies through nationwide injunctions. This won't stop until Trump declares that only the Supreme Court itself, not lesser courts created by Congress, is a co-equal branch, and that he will therefore not obey any "nationwide injunction" issued by a single leftwing fairy judge, but will only obey (maybe!) the Supreme Court itself after a full hearing and reasoned decision. That is, not Justice Roberts just co-signing a brief district court order. Happy Tuesday! Are you all Gettin' After It and Gittin' It Done!? I sure am! (No I'm not, obviously. I can't even make my noon start time.)
A bill by Rep. Darrell Issa aims to prevent lower court judges from issuing such injunctions, with a House vote expected soon.
President Trump and several House conservatives have pushed for the impeachment of U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who recently blocked a deportation order.
House leadership is cautious about impeachment but is considering Issa's bill as an alternative approach.

Hamas 'not as ideologically extreme as portrayed,' says Trump envoy
“We need to understand what Hamas wants and then think about what we can offer them to make them leave. That is what needs to happen here. At the start of the conflict, we heard that ‘Hamas is an ideology, and they are ready to die,’” the official told controversial media figure Tucker Carlson. “I don’t think they are as ideologically extreme as they're often portrayed," Witkoff went on to say of Hamas. "They send young children who understand nothing to commit suicide with explosive belts. Once we understand that they want to live, we can talk to them more effectively.” He said it was imperative that Hamas disarms. “They need to demilitarize, and then they might also be politically involved in Gaza.”
Where to start... First of all, the Hamas ideology was on full display on October 7th, 2023, when they sent thousands of their terrorists into Israel to murder Jewish Israelis and anyone else they could get their hands on. The barbarity on display that day was a testament to their ideological fanaticism, and to suggest otherwise is simply ignorant, or willfully blind for political purposes. Second; it wasn't just Hamas that demonstrated savagery and inhumanity. It was the supposedly innocents of Gaza that poured through the fences and raped and murdered and tortured and kidnapped... all in service to that evil ideology. There is ample evidence that the entire culture of Gaza has been subsumed into a rabidly anti-Jew, anti-Israel mania. School books, children's cartoons, entire curricula are dedicated to the single-minded goal of the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. The focus of Gazan culture (such as it is) is death in service to this mania. The people of Gaza seem to support it enthusiastically, as evidenced by their active participation in it. Whether it is a reflection of larger Islam (it clearly is), or a malign mutation simply doesn't matter. The facts on the ground should govern, and Witkoff is either blind and a willing dupe, or has ulterior motives that are antithetical to the Trump administration's realpolitik in the Middle East. Witkoff is an awful choice for Special Envoy, and why he was chosen is an interesting glimpse into Donald Trump's mindset. They are birds of a feather (NY city real estate), and Witkoff is known to be a good negotiator. But he also has a significant financial involvement in the Middle East, included with Qatar, which is the primary supporter of...Hamas! He needs to disavow his connections to Qatar, repudiate his idiotic statements about Hamas, or resign. I hope he resigns. People that conniving, or that stupid have no place in the Trump administration. [Crossposted at CutJibNewsletter and X]

The Texas Democrat congresswoman, who absolutely loves accusing conservatives of inciting violence and stirring up imaginary “insurrections,” apparently has no qualms with openly threatening other members of the legislature. When asked about Texas senator Ted Cruz’ victory over challenger Colin Allred in the November election and what Allred could have done differently to squeeze out a win, Crockett said Democrats should become "okay with punching." “I think you punch. I think you punch. I think, you know, you okay with punching,” the wannabe-gangsta-turned-elected lawmaker said during an interview with Lone Star Politics.I'm sure the usual DU trolls will be falling all over themselves to insist she was using a metaphor. The same ones who rushed to slime anyone who defended Sarah Palin and the target meme way back when. So, metaphor like with a gasoline filled bottle and a Timmy Walz Manpon flaming fuse in it?
“I love Colin, and I think towards the end he started to punch a little harder, but like, this is Ted Cruz! Like, this dude has to be knocked over the head - like, hard,” she went on.
During a Sunday appearance on MSNBC, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) denied playing any role in promoting the violence waged against Elon Musk’s brand, Tesla. The Texas Democrat acknowledged participating in the so-called “Tesla takedown,” which she maintained was a “large protest.”Maybe she has a point. After all it turns out that in spite of, or maybe because of the anti-Musk/Tesla "protests" Tesla stock is going through the roof.
Up 20% in the last 5 days! Jeez, three more years of this and the Dems will FDR Trump to a third term! So much for term limits! Constitutional crisis my ass. Yeah, bring on more Titty Caca and Bernie Sanders! Keep defending illegal alien rapists and murderers as well as Jew-killing terrorism supporters! And while you're at it lefties, let's get Crockett's opinion on this. We'll have MAGA presidents for the next 100 years! Hawaiian judges and stolen elections notwithstanding.
An LGBT activist teacher in Colorado and her trans-identifying male husband are housing a 17-year-old girl who identifies as a boy. Police say they are unable to intervene to bring the teen home to her mother. JoAnn Smotherman, a former math teacher at Durango High School, took the teen, one of her students, into her Durango home in December when the girl left home after a fight with her mother. JoAnn is married to Vivian Smotherman, a trans-identifying man who ran for Colorado State Senate as a Democrat last year. The teen’s mother, Cynthia Stein, has gone to the Smothermans’ home and attempted, unsuccessfully, to take back her daughter. She called in the police, but the officers who responded to the scene said they would not force the teen to go home, according to the police report and body cam footage of the incident obtained by The Daily Wire."Smotherman?" In this fiend's case, that's a name that's pregnant with meaning as Churchill might say. Given all of the above, I think I give you this blast from the past (or geriatric vaginal gas emission):
Not so crazy on you. Nancy Wilson of the popular rock band Heart has come under fire for claiming it’s “more embarrassing than ever” to be an American. . . “I hope I am alive to see that next revolution,” she added.Oh hell yes! Be careful what you wish for Nancy!!!!!! Because God help you when sane, moral decent hard-working real Americans rise up in their righteous rage at what you and your ilk have done to our sacred Republic and society, vis a vis all of the aforementioned being just the tip of the iceberg, and finally wield the long overdue terrible swift sword of justice.. . As we say in temple at the conclusion of services, "On that day the Lord shall be One and His name shall be One!" Amen.
Just a little reminder to Wisconsonians to get out and vote early and often for Brad Schimel before or on next Tuesday!
Have a great day. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Not only are six million records claimed to be from Oracle Cloud up for sale on the dark corners of the internet, but the hacker left an identifying file on the server and it was picked up by the Wayback Machine.
Oracle claims that Oracle Cloud was never breached, but someone planted that file on that server. Unless the Wayback Machine itself was breached, which... They also deny.
