The Golden Age of MST were the Joel years, with Trace and Josh ( before he was J. Elvis ) , playing both the Bots and the Mads. Mike Nelson kept the franchise going, Kevin Murphy was a good Servo, and TV's Frank was a great second banana, but when Trace left, leaving Forrester's overbearing ( and unfunny ) mother Pearl, as the sole antagonist, something vital was lost.

It's IPO had a projected TAM of 28.5 TRILLION, with more than 90% of that as the imputed value of AI unicorn farts, not the core business. Musk is cashing on AI the bubble with a grossly inflated IPO. The business will remain perfectly viable at a drastically reduced stock price, and the speculators will take a haircut. Citizen Vigilante' is the exact cultural pipe bomb we deserved in 2026. Is it an artistic masterpiece? Hell no. Long ago, 1980s, i was in a furniture delivery truck driving south on I-95 in Maryland. It was the end of the day, driving back to the warehouse in an empty truck to finish up at the end of the day. The left-most lane had a pair of approaching headlights. The driver moved right out of the lane, and a car blew past going in the opposite direction at full speed. Got a glimpse of two white-haired geezers in the front seats. Combined approach speed about 130 mph. You see some weird things on the road doing a delivery job every day, but that was one of the weirdest. I didn't see anything in the paper about a fatal head on collision, so maybe the geezers figured it out. Posted by: Semi-Literate Thug at June 25, 2026 09:01 PM (ienUH) 175

I just watched Citizen Vigilante
Let me preface this by saying I fully support the movies premise and message. That said, in terms of plot/execution/characters, it was probably one of the worst, most ridiculous movies I’ve ever seen. Carney is the embodiment of why Canada is no longer a serious country, and certainly not worthy of any respect. They took an obscure European banking official who had not only never held political office, but who had never even considered running for any office, and said “Yes, that’s him!
