FCC Investigating George Soros-Owned Radio Stations for Providing Leaked Information About Where ICE Is Operating

Interesting, given what we just found out about Tren de Aragua prison gangsters being warned before the ICE raid intended to arrest them.

- Federal Communication Commission chairman Brendan Carr has opened an investigation into a radio station backed by left-wing billionaire George Soros that broadcasted live locations of undercover Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

A group backed Soros, a far-left kingmaker, purchased a stake in more than 200 Audacy radio stations across America last year. Among them was the San Francisco-based KCBS 740 AM, which has come under fire for revealing live locations of undercover ICE vehicles and agents that were conducting deportation operations in the San Jose area.

The FCC's Enforcement Bureau has already sent a formal Letter of Inquiry to the radio station as part of the FCC investigation. The Enforcement Bureau proceeding is inquiring whether the radio station--which is licensed to operate by the FCC--is violating the terms of their FCC license, which requires that they operate in the "public interest." The formal Enforcement Bureau Letter notes that the ICE agents were operating at the time in an area known for violent gang activity.

Federal Communication Commission chairman Brendan Carr has opened an investigation into radio station controlled by left-wing billionaire George Soros.

"I want to express my thanks and appreciation to DHS and ICE agents. These law enforcement professionals are honorably serving this country and carrying out vital missions. Their safety is paramount. The FCC will hold broadcasters accountable for complying with their public interest obligations," Carr told Fox News Digital.

Audacy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

On the January 26 edition of "KCBS Radio Weekend News," it revealed specific information about undercover ICE agents who were "carrying out an operation on the east side of town."

...

The "KCBS Radio Weekend News" host then revealed the specific make, color and model of several unmarked vehicles used in the operation. The station also revealed the exact locations of several ICE agents working in the area.

Bonus: Alex Soros, the nepo baby who's taken over Soros, Inc. as George Soros prepares to spend eternity in Hell, has thoughts about a shadow government of oligarchs secretly running the country.

Michael Shellenberger: USAID and the CIA Funded Trump's First Impeachment

"Regime change at home."

The House of Representatives impeached President Donald Trump on December 18, 2019, after a White House whistleblower went public with evidence that Trump abused his powers by withholding military aid to Ukraine in order to dig up dirt on his rival, Joe Biden. In the complaint, the whistleblower claimed to have heard from White House staff that Trump had, on a phone call, directed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to work with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, to investigate Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. The whistleblower who triggered the impeachment was a CIA analyst who was first brought into the White House by the Obama administration.

Reporting by Drop Site News last year revealed that the CIA analyst relied on reporting by a supposedly independent investigative news organization called the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which appears to have effectively operated as an arm of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which President Trump has just shut down. The CIA whistleblower complaint cited a long report by OCCRP four times.

The OCCRP report alleged that two Soviet-born Florida businessmen were "key hidden actors behind a plan" by Trump to investigate the Bidens. According to the story, those two businessmen connected Giuliani to two former Ukrainian prosecutors. The OCCRP story was crucial to the House Democrats' impeachment claim, which is that Trump dispatched Giuliani as part of a coordinated effort to pressure a foreign country to interfere in the 2020 presidential election, which is why the whistleblower cited it four times.

In a 2024 documentary that German television broadcaster NDR made about OCCRP's dependence on the US government, a USAID official confirmed that USAID approves OCCRP's "annual work plan" and approves new hires of "key personnel." NDR initiated and carried out the investigation with French investigative news organization Mediapart, Italian new group Il Fatto Quotidiano, Reporters United in Greece, and Drop Site News in the United States.

However, according to a Mediapart story published the same day as the Drop Site News article, NDR censored the broadcast "after US journalist Drew Sullivan, the co-founder and head of the OCCRP, placed pressure on the NDR management and made false accusations against the broadcaster's journalists involved in the project."

On December 16, Drop Site's Ryan Grim posted a link on X to the 26-minute-long documentary. "NDR, Germany's public broadcaster, is facing a censorship scandal and has defended itself by saying it never killed a news report about OCCRP and its State Department funding -- b/c no report was ever produced to kill," said Grim. "That was absurd -- and dozens, maybe hundreds, of journalists knew it to be false, and now of course, someone has leaked it."

The journalistic collaboration revealed that OCCRP's original funding came from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the State Department, and quotes a USAID official who says, "Drew's just nervous about being linked with law enforcement," referring to Sullivan. "If people who are going to give you information think you're just a cop, maybe it's a problem."

OCCRP does not operate like a normal investigative journalism organization in that its goals appear to include interfering in foreign political matters, including elections, aimed at regime change. Sullivan told NDR that his organization had "probably been responsible for five or six countries changing over from one government to another government... and getting prime ministers indicted or thrown out."

As such, it appears that CIA, USAID, and OCCRP were all involved in the impeachment of President Trump in ways similar to the regime change operations that all three organizations engage in abroad. The difference is that it is highly illegal and even treasonous for CIA, USAID, and its contractors and intermediaries, known as "cut-outs," to interfere in US politics this way.
OCCRP claims they're an "independent" "news" organization, and says that any claims to the contrary are "defamatory." Same lying and bullying tactics they used to get the German report censored.

But OCCRP's agreement with USAID says that USAID has the power to approve or veto OCCRP's hiring decsions.

On the website Patrucic links to, a screenshot from OCCRP's own agreement with USAID states, "Requests for approval of new Key Personnel shall include (a) written justification; and (b) CV curriculum vitae in English... Key personnel positions, candidates and changes to such personnel will require concurrence from the AOR [Agreement Officer's Representative] and approval from the AO [Agreement Officer]."

OCCRP claims on its website that USAID's oversight of OCCRP is not what it appears to be. "This represents a serious misunderstanding of a common procurement procedure. This person or persons, referred to as the grant's 'key personnel,' ensures that the money we get is spent appropriately and that the work gets done. This is not an editorial role, but a logistical one."

But there is nothing in the agreement that suggests USAID's approval of OCCRP's work plan and senior staff are unimportant to the editorial content produced by OCCRP.

Indeed, USAID's Shannon McGuire emphasizes, in the NDR documentary, that USAID controlled OCCRP through what is known as a "substantial involvement clause."

...

Sullivan confirmed this. " Under cooperative agreements, which we don't like to take," he said, "they have a say on who the people are, but they can veto somebody."

Patrucic told Public, "I am the editor-in-chief of OCCRP and was appointed during a USAID grant, but my CV was never sent to USAID and no approval was sought or received. OCCRP is governed only by its board of directors and no one else."

But a second USAID official, Mike Henning, confirmed to the NDR filmmakers that USAID approval is not just for "logistical" or "administrative" functions.

"A cooperative agreement has more strings attached," said Henning, "than a grant... Some of the strings that are attached in a cooperative agreement are approval of key personnel, approval of an annual work plan, approval of sub grants of a certain amount above a certain amount."

USAID, he added, would have to approve "the editor in chief or who's the CEO, who's the, you know, managing editor."

...

Samantha Power, then head of USAID, said in November 2021 that OCCRP was a "major partner" of the US government. Under its Strengthening Transparency and Accountability through Investigative Reporting (STAIR) program, USAID allocated $20 million to OCCRP from September 2022 to September 2027 to support investigative journalism in Europe and Eurasia. One of the reporters on the Giuliani story was based in Ukraine. Although OCCRP claims to assign grants retrospectively, it appears that a USAID STAIR grant may have funded the story.

Steve Engleberg, managing editor of the investigative journalism nonprofit, ProPublica, said that OCCRP's relationship with the U.S. government undermines OCCRP's claim to independence.

Shellenberger's "Public" substack is very much worth the $5 per month.

Pressured by Lawsuit and Owner Shari Redstone, 60 Minutes Finally Releases the Unedited Word-Salad Nonsensical Kamala Harris "Interview"

Happy Thursday. I can't wait for all of the good news of the day!

Starting with this latest exposure of the activist media.

Strange that a "news" organization fought the release of unedited news product so forcefully.

Kamala Harris gave a meandering, 179-word answer on Israel that "60 Minutes" cut to just 20 words, according to transcripts released Wednesday by the Federal Communications Commission.

The FCC says it's investigating CBS for possible election interference, after complaints that the venerated news program cut Harris' word-salad answers to make her look more coherent. Donald Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the network.

Trump-appointed FCC chair Brendan Carr got the full transcript and video on Monday after a tug-of-war with the Tiffany Network, which has defended the editing as a standard practice for "time, space or clarity."

But a CBS source told The Post on Wednesday that the "60 Minutes" edit did Harris "a lot of favors and makes her seem more succinct."

"You have to watch the video. A lot of 'word salad,'" the source said. "Feels like a cleanup on Aisle 7. Not a technical foul but one could argue still news distortion."

Hit the link for comparisons of her endless word-salads to what actually appeared on the air. In every case, she babbled for 150-200 words, and CBS trimmed her answers to short, more coherent 25-40 word answers.

In every case, CBS's helpful editors take her rambling, incoherent, dum-dum ding-a-ling non-answers and craft them into something more comprehensible and more "presidential."

The article explains Trump's cause of action here:

After releasing the transcripts, Carr said the FCC will hold hearings over a complaint by the Center for American Rights, a right-leaning activist group, over CBS News' alleged deceptive editing.

"The FCC has concluded that establishing a docket and seeking comment on the issues raised in the complaint would serve the public interest. The people will have a chance to weigh in," Carr said in a post on X.

CBS, which also released the unedited documents to the public on Wednesday, said the transcripts "show -- consistent with 60 Minutes' repeated assurances to the public -- that the 60 Minutes broadcast was not doctored or deceitful."

The FCC is reviewing whether the broadcast violates "news distortion" rules. Though the agency is prohibited from censorship or infringing on the First Amendment rights of media, broadcasters cannot intentionally distort the news.

LOL. This has been a rule all this time and no one has ever investigated broadcasters for their obvious violation of the rule?!

Note that the American public had not seen Kamala much because she was hiding from the press for months. This was the first time the public would get to see her and make judgments about whether she was qualified to be president.

In other words: This was the time to show her answers in their most complete form. This wasn't just about finding about what her fake "positions" were, but a chance to see how her mind worked, if in fact it worked at all.

CBS deliberately hid this valuable information from the public and presented her as much more cogent, decisive, and direct.

The knock on Kamala Harris was that she was indecisive and incoherent, and the real unedited tape would have allowed the public to see that that knock was accurate.

Instead, they faked the interview to present an entirely false version of her in her first solo major network interview.

If Carr finds evidence of misleading editing, it could impact regulatory approval of Paramount's $8 billion merger with Skydance, which was set to close by next month.

The Morning Rant

Mis Hum Rant.jpg

When CBD asked if I would sit in for him this week. I gladly accepted the oppurtunity. But, to be honest with you. I didn't have a large number of rants in mind. Oh how that soon changed.........

Recently I broke a cardinal rule of mine. Thou shall not discuss ANYTHING POLITICAL on Facebook.

The hypocrisy of the left never ceases me from giggling. If hypocrisy wasn't so sad, the left's lack of common sense would be charming.

Recently a Facebook "Friend " (FBF) posted something about accepting the Alphabet Sexual Persuasion Gagle. One of the reasons a homosexual shouldn't be discriminated against because they did not choose to be homosexual. We are to accept them.

Fine. I can live with that to a point. What is Tolerance and what isn't is a Rant for another time and day. As a Christian I am to love my neighbor as myself. I am to treat everyone kindly, politely and humanely.

My FBF posted we are to judge each gay person individually and not as a group.

Fine. I can accept that as well. It reminds me of what Martin Luther King, Jr., once said. We are to judge content of character and heart and not something that could never be changed. (Skin color)

If being gay is not a choice. Are your political leanings and beliefs inherited rather than an environmental issue? I look at my younger sibling. Same upbringing. We are 20 months apart and one grade difference in school. Same grade schools, same high school, etc. Yet we are so completely different in our core beliefs and outlooks.

So you may ask? Where are you heading with this? Fast forward 2-3 weeks and my FBF is no longer my "Friend ". And in the future would no longer sell me a commodity because I'm MAGA person and using her words, "You cannot be trusted."

Why I even entered into this fray is beyond me. I guess I have too much free time on my hands.

She was rather upset that my President who I voted for was imposing tariffs on her country. (Canada) And Elon Musk was running roughshod over the US treasury. Silly her, a Canuck, telling me how to vote. But, she did thank me for being polite. Coming from a Canadian that just gave me goose bumps.

Let me get this straight? You have never met me. We have never spoken on the phone. And the product you won't sell to me now, you were going to sell me 14 months ago?

I wonder if she would have allowed a gay man to babysit her 10 year old child without any reservations. Just like she won't sell me wait for it a......... DOG.

As I told her, it is her loss, not mine. Because, I'm not tired of winning.

The Morning Report — 2/5/25

FredoArafat.jpg

Good morning kids. The big story this morning remains not only President Trump's Gaza plan whatever it is or whatever it might actually be and the reactions to it. First of all, regardless of whatever my personal feelings are towards the so-called "palestinian" residents of Gaza, and whatever Trump's intentions and feelings are, to forcibly or otherwise coerce/induce them to leave for other pastures, greener or otherwise, would be considered as "Ethnic cleansing" and as such from an international relations standpoint as well as a PR standpoint would be and should be considered as a non-starter. He has also suggested turning Gaza into a Riviera on the Mediterranean where the inhabitants would flourish, if only they'd give up trying to annihilate Israel. If only, if only.

As many have speculated, Trump putting these schemes down and also claiming the US will own Gaza is his way of laying down an opening bid as if this were merely one of his signature deals, wherein the other side will accept perhaps something a bit less and then everyone comes out a winner. Unfortunately I think this betrays on his part a rather naive if not uninformed knowledge of the region and its history, and to me this is kind of shocking. Unless what he is hoping for is merely a reaction by enemies foreign and domestic that he can point a finger of blame at and expose the problem. Look, I love the guy and I think as far as America, Israel and our real allies are concerned he does indeed have their and our best interests at heart. But this whole scheme is nuts to think it actually would work out.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CBS Mornings,” White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz stated that President Donald Trump’s Gaza proposal is “going to bring the entire region to come with their own solutions, if they don’t like Mr. Trump’s solutions.” And that other realistic solutions have been lacking. . .

. . . Waltz continued, “I think it’s going to bring the entire region to come with their own solutions, if they don’t like Mr. Trump’s solutions. So, that’s what we saw, and I think that is just living in the commonsense, practical reality of this awful situation that’s going on in Gaza and has been going on for quite some time.”

Sadly, what seems to be lacking is Waltz's understanding of history. Let me break it to you gently Director Waltz, the rest of the region has had a solution for 1500 years: It's called finishing Hitler's Final Solution, also known as Mohammed's Initial Solution! To be charitable to Trump, Waltz and company, I'm sure they know this, but the real solution to the problem, is recognizing that the problem itself is Islam. Even if you move a couple million Gazans, you still have 1.5 billion muslims seeking to kill every Jew and other infidel on the planet so as to create an Islamic caliphate that encompasses the entirety of said planet Earth. The estimable Robert Spencer and others have written and spoken of (When they've been allowed) of the Ummah, or worldwide Islamic rule. This is preached in every Mosque and madrassa on a daily basis. Unless and until you can at a minimum get the Islamic world to renounce this and its views on Jews and infidels, You can build Rivieras out the wahzoo and it won't mean a damn thing. Look at Bali in Indonesia? Look at Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain. And look at Beirut circa pre-1975. The fate of all the others will ultimately be Beirut, not because of the bombs and shells from the IDF defending itself or God-forbid avenging yet another October 7 assault/pogrom which would be bloodier by orders of magnitude. It would be at that behest and by the hands of subsequent generations of Mad Mullahs itching to purge non-Islamic western corruption. See Iran post the Shah and Afghanistan post the Red Army's defeat.

You can destroy and rebuild cities. A tyrannical, genocidal bloodlust going back nearly two millennia is quite something else, Mr. President. Gazans don't want the Riviera. They could've had it decades ago. If what you wanted to do was just expose this ugly truth to the world, this whole Riviera and/or mass relocation dog and pony show IMHO has fallen flat and could come back to bite you. We'll have to wait and see.

Fortunately, on many other fronts both here and abroad, the steamrolling of the anti-American Left continues, with much rending of cloth and wailing from the usual suspects.

With that, I'll give you the headless chicken cognitive dissonance of the Democrats with these two headlines.

Here's the shot:

‘So Pathetic’: Long-Time Dem Operative Says Dems Fear Trump’s Success As They’ll Have Nothing To Sell To The Public

Now here's the chaser!:

Former Biden Campaign Official Thinks Solution To Dem Woes Is To Trot Out AOC, Far-Left Rep

Of course, when all else fails, call for mass violence in the streets and assassinations of Trump, his cabinet and everyone of us.

On Monday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) sat down with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Monday evening to talk about the executive actions of President Donald Trump and his apparent targeting USAID.

Raskin did his best to whip up an extreme amount of fervor and practically radicalize the left's base into protest and possibly violent action against their ideological and political counterparts.

It was thrilling and exhilarating to see hundreds of people show up on just a couple hours notice that we were going to have a press conference outside of [US]AID today. So there’s tremendous popular fervor here, and that’s giving everybody a lot of confidence and showing that we’re not afraid of these people. They might be attempting a coup against America, but we’re going to stop them, and we’re going to use every means available to us.

Maybe pre-placed pallets of bricks, fired FBI agents who can team up with Antifa and BLM stooges to hunt team Trump down in their homes and "get in their faces" as Maxine Love Canal Waters urged back in Trump's first term.

of course, when all else fails, there's always Impeachment! Pfft

“Injustice in Gaza is a threat to justice in the United States of America,” Scumbag, degenerate, sub literate, prehensile tail-louse-foraging, CAIR-Linked Congressman Al Green Tries to Impeach Trump Over Gaza Plan

As for Jamie Raskin and his ilk, Cancer IS as Cancer does. Hopefully with Pam Bondi now AG and Kash Patel running the FBI, we can put the screws to all the traitors and actual insurrectionists that turned this nation inside out over the past 8 years and more.

No it's not retribution, Lefties. call it restorative Justice against the crimes you committed and projected onto us. Let the terrible swift sword be wielded early often and mercilessly.

Lots of other goodies, from the Trannie madness taking a beating courtesy of Trump as well as continued success in sealing the border, rounding up and shipping out the illegals and much more in the links.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

The Trump administration warned federal workers Tuesday that the "majority" of government agencies will be downsized and that a buyout offer extended last week will not be renewed.

A new book is pushing the lie that Kamala Harris really wanted to do Joe Rogan's show -- she's not an idiot who's afraid of embarrassing herself without friendly editing, you see -- but Joe Rogan spurned her every effort, because he wanted to rig the election for Trump.

Christian Toto reports that not only is Joe Rogan saying this is a lie, but also that the "authors" of this book never bothered to even ask him for comment on the defamatory lies they were publishing about him.

Rogan's theory is that her young aides lied to Kamala about Rogan not being interested, because, in their stupid hyperideological woke view, going on Rogan would "normalize" and "platform" him, and they objected to that.

"We have all the receipts, by the way," Rogan added. "Of course, I have a whole list of conversations that took place ... I think it's someone trying to cover their ass for the fact that she never did it, and if she did do it, it might have had a positive effect. [If] we got along great, and [it improved the] 'young male vote' things could have been different."

I think he's wrong about that. I think Kamala Harris is a deeply stupid woman who at least has the sense to know she cannot survive a long conversation without a friendly editor to knit her word-salads into something palatable.

This is actionable. Part of your defense to a defamation lawsuit is claiming you had no malice. But part of showing that you didn't have malice is going through normal journalistic processes.

Processes like "reaching out to the target of your hit piece for comment."

The authors of this defamation didn't bother doing that, Rogan says.

"[The authors] supposedly talked to 150 different people [about] what happened with her coming on the show. They didn't talk to us, and which is kind of crazy. They didn't even ask. But they said things that just weren't true." Rogan said on his Jan. 4 episode.

I didn't feel like covering the Carlos/"Karla" situation so I'm glad Ed Driscoll did.

The transgender pretending to be a woman "starred" in what I'm told is one of the worst movies of all time. Hollywood really wants to go bankrupt, so they showered 13 Oscar nominations on this piece of shit -- one shy of the record, and two more nominations than The Godfather got -- to say f*** you to all normal, mentally-healthy people.

That much you know.

What you might not know is that someone in the nasty media went digging through this transgender's old tweets to cancel him, and found him saying Forbidden Truths like, get this, George Floyd was just a "drug addict" and "hustler."

St. George?!!? How dare you, sir!

So now, after elevating this no-talent nobody for Woke reasons, they're now cancelling him for Woke reasons.

Film critic Armond White:

Instead, the trade press has attacked Gascón for social media posts uncovered by a renegade freelancer, Sarah Hagi, who identifies as a black Muslim and who is Canadian but writes hit-pieces for U.S. media. The trade press has heroized Hagi for exposing dated "racist tweets" by Gascón. Gascón's posts ranged from criticizing Black Lives Matter and questioning the credibility of the George Floyd scandal to what Hagi claims were endorsements of Adolf Hitler.

So a Muslim in a hijab attacks a trans performer who identifies as a woman yet doesn't kowtow to all the liberal pieties. It's an almost humorous fulfillment of the prediction that the Left will eat itself....

But the unserious Hollywood trade press remains trivial. Variety went for standard left-Hollywood accusations. Daniel D'Addario wrote a piece on the Gascón affair, with a headline calling Gascón "the Donald Trump of Oscar Season." D'Addario mentions President Trump nearly as often as he mentions Gascón. A former television critic for Time, D'Addario uses prejudiced phrases -- "the politics of prejudice emanating from President Trump," "our current, entertainment-obsessed president" -- even digging-up the Obama birth certificate controversy and the tired comparisons of Trump to Hitler. D'Addario practices code phrases the same way that Gascón's old tweets, according to Hagi, issued "dog whistles."

Variety and the Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap betray their own integrity by waging industry vendettas against Gascón and Trump as if both were infidels to the DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, Equity) cause.

What makes this fracas serious is the underlying media mania for cancellation and censorship -- of a performer and a president. It's an extension of the angry zeal that has overtaken the media in general, from legacy publications to the internet upstarts that all mistake partisan activism for journalism. The idea is to effect the revolution in gender and identity that is part of the social transformation progressives demand be installed in our language and thinking. The Academy's endorsement of Karla or Carlos Gascón has exposed the trade media, transforming it into a medium of spite.

They can all go, literally, to Hell. Boycott their garbage movies. Not another dime.

Speaking of mentally-ill garbage people with no moral center who are no longer culturally relevant: Kanye West stripped his current wife/consort down to the skin and showed her naked, much-altered body to the press corps. Note this clip contains nudity. He really wants us to believe he's so totally over Kim Kardashian that he's had a plastic surgeon cut his current consort to look just like Kim Kardashian, and has her exposing herself in public just like Kim Kardashian.

I get it, dude. You're totally over that skank. It's so obvious.

And speaking of media figures with absolutely no remaining credibility or audience: Andrea Mitchell has finally left MSNBC. I imagine she'll be doing some podcast collabs with Jim Acosta, Chuck Todd, Don Lemon, Jennifer Rubin, and all the rest of the Unwanted.

The US Attorney in SDNY has dropped the case against Project Veritas journalists who were raided and persecuted for investigating the diary of Joe Biden's daughter. After years of threats, no charges will be filed.

From the very start, this was a bogus investigation that exposed the shameful lengths the former administration would go to live up to Joe Biden's line that "no one fuc*s with a Biden."

Federal Judge Orders Clapped-Out Snizzmonger and Melon-Belly Fani Willis to Turn Over All Communications With World's Saddest Cuck-Clown Jack Smith

Excellent.

Biden's DOJ had fought this every step of the way.

A federal judge has ordered the Justice Department to turn over communications between ex-Trump prosecutor Jack Smith and the president's Georgia antagonist, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, in what a legal watchdog group has called a case of collusion.

The order from U.S. District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich followed the end of Smith's 2020 election interference case against President Donald Trump and Smith's own resignation from his special prosecutor role.

Judicial Watch had sought the communications in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit but has been stalled by Smith and Justice, claiming that disclosing any information would hurt the prosecution.

Friedrich, based in Washington, said since there no longer is a case, turning over the documents won't jeopardize any case.

...

Judicial Watch had been seeking communications between Smith's office and the Fulton County district attorney "requesting or receiving federal funds or other federal assistance in any form relating to the investigation" of Trump and others in the 2020 election case. The group also sought any other communications between the two.

The stalling angered Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, who said, "President Trump truly needs to overhaul the Justice Department from top to bottom. It is a scandal that a federal court had to order the Justice Department to admit the truth that their objections to producing records about collusion with Fani Willis had no basis in reality."

Leave the maggots no stone to hide beneath. Let the light sear them.

Pam Bondi Orders Pause in DOJ Funding of Sanctuary Cities

NewsWire
@NewsWire_US

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to order federal funding freeze for sanctuary cities -- Fox News

Right Angle News Network
@Rightanglenews

BREAKING -- Attorney General Pam Bondi has frozen federal funding to 220 sanctuary cities.

A Fox News article from a couple of hours ago reports on Bondi's plans, including a funding freeze for sanctuary cities.

EXCLUSIVE: Attorney General Pam Bondi will issue several major directives on her first day leading the Justice Department, including orders to combat the weaponization of the legal system; make prosecutors seek the death penalty when appropriate; and work with the Department of Homeland Security to "completely eliminate" cartels and transnational criminal organizations, Fox News Digital has learned.

Bondi issued a directive regarding "zealous advocacy." Bondi said DOJ attorneys' responsibilities include "aggressively enforcing criminal laws passed by Congress, but also vigorously defending presidential policies and actions on behalf of the United States against legal challenges."

"The discretion afforded Justice Department attorneys with respect to those responsibilities does not include latitude to substitute their personal political views or judgments for those that prevailed in the election," the memo states.

"When Justice Department attorneys refuse to faithfully carry out their role by, for example, refusing to advance good-faith arguments or declining to sign briefs, it undermines the constitutional order and deprives the President of the benefit of his lawyers," the memo continues.

Bondi, in the memo, states that "any Justice Department attorney who declines to sign a brief, refuses to advance good-faith arguments on behalf of the Trump administration, or otherwise delays or impedes the Justice Department's mission will be subject to discipline and potentially termination."

Bondi is set to establish the "Weaponization Working Group," which will review the activities of all law enforcement agencies over the past four years to identify instances of "politicized justice."

The working group's first reviews will include prosecutions against Trump led by former Special Counsel Jack Smith; Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg; and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who brought the civil fraud case against Trump and his family.

The working group will also review any potential prosecutorial abuse regarding Jan. 6, 2021; the FBI's targeting of Catholic Americans; the Justice Department's targeting of parents at school board meetings; and abuses of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances, or FACE, Act.

...

Bondi said Joint Task Force Vulcan, which was created to destroy MS-13, and Joint Task Force Alpha, which was created to fight human trafficking, would be "further empowered and elevated" to the Office of the Attorney General. Those missions are expected to expand -- specifically Vulcan's -- with a new focus on destroying Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang now designated as a foreign terrorist organization.

She's also ending Biden's (illegal) moratorium on seeking the death penalty, and working to give "justice" to 37 families who lost loved ones to the vicious murderers Biden pardoned.

And as for illegal migrants, Bondi has directed the DOJ to pause all federal funding for sanctuary cities.

Bondi also has directed the DOJ to identify and evaluate all funding agreements with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that provide support to illegal aliens.

She is also directing litigating components of the Justice Department to investigate instances of jurisdictions that are impeding law enforcement, and directing they be prosecuted, when necessary.

Update: Sweet Karoline Announces That DOGE Is Working to Cancel Those Fake $12,000 Per Person Per Year Politico Premium Subscriptions

One of Andrew Breitbart's big issues -- which I think my old friend Mike Flynn (the writer/politico, not the general) brought to his attention -- was the fact that the left has turned the government into their political action committee. The left gets funded by anti-American billionaires, yes, but it mostly gets funded by the American taxpayer, as Marxist infiltrators in the government use excuse after excuse to direct money towards leftwing organizations.

They also hated the media, obviously.

I hope they're looking down and enjoying this.

Mitch McConnell Falls Down Steps in Senate, Again

Resign.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) fell as he exited the Senate chamber on Wednesday, though he did not immediately appear injured and walked away under his own power.

McConnell, who stepped down as GOP leader in January, was assisted onto his feet by Sens. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and Steve Daines (R-MT) and then walked to a Senate lunch. He had just cast a vote for Scott Turner to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development when he tripped.

The episode is the latest brush with injury for McConnell, who sustained a cut on his face and sprained his wrist in December at another Senate lunch.

In 2023, McConnell, 82, was hospitalized for a concussion and later had multiple freezing episodes in front of the cameras, apparently as a lingering symptom of the concussion.

People talk about Trump's ego and yes, of course he has a big ego.

But at the same time, you have these ancient men and women who just absolutely refuse to leave power because they are convinced the world cannot wheel 'round the sun without their assistance.

He's staying in partly because his advisors, who get rich from peddling his influence, urge him to stay in. They know they have no future in the new Republican Party. McConnell is their only, and last, meal ticket.

Same as with Biden and the Biden Crime Family.

I saw someone call for the destruction of McConnell's entire fundraising and lobbying apparatus. They didn't explain how this would work, but one idea comes to my mind: Let it be known that any corporation or PAC employing a McConnell staffer is persona non grata in the Trump administration and Trump will take action opposite to what their clients are paying them to lobby for.

That would fix their britches.

As USAID Is Shut Down, Politico's Checks to Its Employees Are Delayed.
This May Not Be a Coincidence -- USAID Is Funding the Anti-Trump/Anti-Conservative Propaganda Mill Politico.

Fathomless corruption, fathomless!

While USAID poured money into censorship outfits with the sole goal of deplatforming conservative outlets and organizing advertising boycotts to drain us of any revenue, they were also paying taxpayer money to leftwing outlets.

I'm serious: I want a class action lawsuit against the government.

Before getting to that: USAID's website now announces to all of its "workers:" You're fired.

Well, a few will be kept around for high-priority projects, but the rest are now terminated.

On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST) all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs. Essential personnel expected to continue working will be informed by Agency leadership by Thursday, February 6, at 3:00pm (EST).

For USAID personnel currently posted outside the United States, the Agency, in coordination with missions and the Department of State, is currently preparing a plan, in accordance with all applicable requirements and laws, under which the Agency would arrange and pay for return travel to the United States within 30 days and provide for the termination of PSC and ISC contracts that are not determined to be essential. The Agency will consider case-by-case exceptions and return travel extensions based on personal or family hardship, mobility or safety concerns, or other reasons. For example, the Agency will consider exceptions based on the timing of dependents' school term, personal or familial medical needs, pregnancy, and other reasons. Further guidance on how to request an exception will be forthcoming.

Thank you for your service.

On to Politico. Apparently they charge a huge amount of money for a "Pro" subscription, and USAID was paying a ton of money to buy these very pricey super-subscriptions.

Why does someone working for USAID paying for Peruvian transgender comic books need a super-expensive subscription to Politico to follow the day-to-day micro-news about the DC bureaucracy?

Is their job wasting taxpayer money, or is their job political activism?

ZeroHedge:

According to government spending tracker website USASPENDING.gov, Politico - which laundered the Hunter Biden '51 intel officials' propaganda during the 2020 election - received up to $27 million (and by some counts $32 million) from various US agencies during the Biden years.

In one instance, roughly $500,000 was spent on 37 Politico 'pro' subscriptions.

Of note, Politico was sold to German media giant Axel Springer (which also owns Business Insider) for $1 billion in 2021, meaning US taxpayer dollars have been flowing to the German media giant to prop up their US propaganda rags.

zerohedge
@zerohedge

So 90% of "subscribers" to left-wing publications like Politico are fake and "taxpayer funded". And then using fake subs to artificially pump up revenue, Politico gets to sell itself to German propaganda giant Axel Springer for $1 billion.

Wednesday Morning Rant

mannixape2.jpg

Narrative Control

I had interesting experience this past weekend due to a combination of serious technical problems, scheduled upgrades and unrelated equipment failures. After getting the Humpty Dumpty that my home technology had become back together again, I essentially came up from scratch as far my "smart" TV (one of the unrelated failures) is concerned. Everything was fresh and new, with no background and the algorithms had to guess at what I might want to watch.

The upshot of this is that I got to see something fairly unusual for most people who use the internet regularly: a clean slate. No search history. No cookies. No IP address trends (that changed, too). No logged in user. Newly-configured Smart TV on a new account with no activity history. So when YouTube (in this case) came up, it had to guess. The basis for YouTube's guessing, in the absence of other data, is the trend. What's popular across various categories? Show the new user some popular stuff and see what he clicks on.

The Morning Report — 2/5/25

RAIDDOGE.jpg

Good morning kids. Now that the light has been turned on in the kitchen so to speak, President Donald Trump is not only dousing everything with Plutonium-infused RAID, and the cockroaches who were once doing the multi-trillion dollar mambo to "hey baba-rebop" as per the old Robert Klein routine, but they are shrieking in anger and terror. Hopefully they'll go legs up any second now and can be swept up and disposed a la the garbage trucks in Soylent Green, to be turned into Soylent Marxist insect meat and force-fed to the Greta Thunbergs of this world, until they choke on it.

Considering our budget over the past couple decades has soared into the trillions, the fact that USAID was allocated merely billions each year still is significant in that all the money, minus whatever was skimmed off the top to wet the beaks of the Democrats, went to a veritable rogues gallery of anti-American, anti-Western crackpot, terroristic thugocracies, kleptocrats and tyrants that have shed rivers o blood of their own people and us in the process. Those who are shrieking loudest are both in on the grift and hate this country as much if not more than the scum getting the dough-rey-mi. And this is just USAID, wait until the DOge axe really starts being wielded at the rest of the bureaucracy.

And speaking of cockroaches shrieking out their death rattle, this will warm the cockles of your heart:

The reaction of some U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) employees when the Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE) came to their Washington D.C. office last week is raising more questions about the shadowy agency.

Contractor Kristina Drye, who is employed at USAID described to ABC News a scene reminiscent of the kind of mad scramble historically witnessed when a corrupt government has fallen and officials are desperately trying to get rid of evidence of wrongdoing.

Drye described USAID employees taking down pride flags and removing books that she felt might be “incriminating” as well as how “no one was talking” as DOGE team members began their review of the operations of the agency that sends billions of taxpayer dollars abroad for a variety of reasons ranging from disaster relief to funding regime change.

She described her concerns over DOGE setting up automatic transcription of USAID employee Google meets and how, over the weekend, she lost access to work computer.

USAID’s Director of Security John Voorhees and his deputy Brian McGill were both placed on administrative leave after denying system access to DOGE employees who were eventually able to gain access to the secure systems in order to conduct their analysis.

Such actions seem out of place considering that USAID employees and managers have had since early November to anticipate the incoming Trump administration and the anticipated arrival of DOGE.

Hiding flags and books and attempting to prevent access to the systems that track secretive government payments lend more strength to the concerns about fraud expressed by Elon Musk than they do to claims that USAID is operating with full transparency and accountability.

President Trump ordered a 90 day pause in foreign development assistance via USAID while the DOGE team reviews that agency’s efficiencies and consistency with the new administration’s foreign policy objectives.

I hope Pam Bondi and Discipline will follow the money and prosecute with extreme prejudice wherever it leads, now that she has been confirmed as the new AG!!

The other Yuuuge story this morning is what President Trump said during his meting with Bibi Netanyahu regarding Gaza. Ho Lee Fook!

Trump said he would deploy US troops to the territory “if it’s necessary” and that he imagined “the world’s people” occupying an “international unbelievable place” that would be regarded as “the Riviera of the Middle East,” with some Palestinians permitted to resettle there.

Netanyahu all but endorsed the idea, saying: “I think it’s something that could change history and it’s worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.”

The Israeli leader said “[Trump] sees a different future for that piece of land that has been the focus of so much terrorism, so many attacks against us, so many trials and so many tribulations.

“He has a different idea, and I think it’s worth paying attention to this.” Trump, who frequently denounces prior US military interventions in the Middle East, did not lay out a timeline for either the proposed US occupation or the relocation of Gaza’s residents, but he presented the overall plan as a well-considered “strong recommendation” to bring peace to the region.

“I’ve studied this very closely over a lot of months, and I’ve seen it from every different angle,” Trump said.

. . . Egyptian and Jordanian leaders have already rejected Trump’s request that they take in Gazans. But Trump claimed Tuesday that he believes Amman and Cairo will agree to do it, and that Gazans would be thrilled to relocate.

“Gaza is a hellhole right now,” he said. “It was before the bombing started, frankly, and we’re going to give people a chance to live in a beautiful community that’s safe and secure, and I think you’re going to see tremendous outpouring of support.”

The president made a series of escalating remarks about Gaza throughout the day Tuesday, and said in the Oval Office before the press conference that he thought residents “wouldn’t want to go back” after being relocated.“I do see a long-term ownership position,” Trump said at the press conference when asked about the potential US takeover. “Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent, in a really magnificent area that nobody would know.”

First of all. the notion of deploying US Troops here is insane. No, just flat out no. Even if this idea of remaking Gaza into a new Riviera had a snowball's chance in hell of sucess (which it doesn't) US boots on the ground is a line in the sand of a region already soaked in American blood, particularly in Beirut which at one point was a Middle Eastern Riviera until the same ideology turned it into Gaza 25 years ago.

While I appreciate Trump's support for Israel, and that it's good to both think out of the box if for no other reason than to force people to see things they may not want to, and to force the hand of your opponents. That said, this is all well and good on President Trump. But the real problem is, as we all should know by now is ISLAM itself.

Unless and until the majority of Muslims openly reject the main tenets of their so-called religion, that is the submission and or death of unbelievers, particularly Jews, then while we may have gained some time and some measure of security, I'm afraid the past 1,500 years or so of history means we will have more innocent blood spilled in the name of Mohammedanism.

With the exception of pre-Jimmy Carter Iran, the Arab and broader Muslim world despite being awash in petrodollars, have spent the past 77 years primarily focused on one thing, eradicating the State of Israel and then going on to finish the work of Adolf Hitler by killing every Jew on the planet as is their prime directive stated in pretty calligraphy.

The best perhaps we can hope for, if/when the dust settles in Gaza and its residents return is the permanent removal of their terrorist/Islamist/Anti-Semitic government. Elections have consequences and remember it's Gazans that keep voting for the terrorists and Jew-haters. Purple thumbs and/or Dominion voting machines notwithstanding. And that's because they do not want to live side by side with Israel. Kudos to Trump for calling out the complete delusional failure of Peace Process Incorporated.

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist. Again, I give credit to Trump for at least putting this out there and taking a blowtorch to the abject failures of Foggy Bottom in its support of the irredentism of the fake "Palestinians" and their enablers around the world and here.

This is who you have to deal with . . .

Hamas tortured and executed terrorists within its ranks who allegedly had gay sex, shocking documents show — as sources added some male Israeli victims of the Oct. 7 massacre were raped in captivity.

The Iranian proxy terror group had a running list of recruits who were found to have failed Hamas’ “morality checks” by having same-sex relations — and they heavily paid the price, according to documents recovered by the Israel Defense Forces and shared with The Post.

The documents reveal the “crimes” that were allegedly committed by 94 Hamas recruits — lumping together “homosexual conversations,” “flirting with girls without a legal relationship” and “sodomy” in with serious allegations of child rape and torture.

This has kind of a Colonel Kurtzian hypocritical splendor to it, all things considered, no? Continuing...

It is unclear what happened to the recruits identified as “unacceptable” to Hamas, but homosexuality is illegal in Gaza and can result in years of prison — and even death.
Such was the case with former Hamas commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi, who was executed in 2016 after he was accused of having gay sex.
Ishtiwi’s confession and apparent testimony of the brutal treatment he received was included in the documents shared with The Post.

Butt, Butt Queers for "Palestine?!" Long distance def dedication to them!

"Qom fly with me, off the Tehran Hilton roof."

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist.

Nation building begins at home: How about forcing all the Democrats to leave California. Or to prevent them from infecting normal America, abolish their party, remove them from government and turn to restoring its former lustre. And talk of California seceding is once again making news. Meh, cut the shithole coastal cities loose and we get to keep the farmlands, forests, watershed and at least one port. The rest can go Gaza itself.

Have a great day.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.
