I'll put up the Cafe later.
The shpeesh should be available at the WhiteHouse.gov site. MXMNews:President Joe Biden will address the nation from the Oval Office at 8 p.m. Wednesday to discuss his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. This decision comes amid growing concerns about his mental acuity. Biden, 81, tweeted Tuesday about his upcoming address: "Tomorrow evening at 8 PM ET, I will address the nation from the Oval Office on what lies ahead, and how I will finish the job for the American people." Since his COVID-19 diagnosis, Biden has been recuperating at his Delaware vacation home and is expected to return to the White House by Tuesday afternoon. The President has committed to serving the remainder of his term, which concludes in January, despite increasing pressure from prominent Republicans, such as House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana, to resign.Trump has sent letters to the networks demanding equal time.
Former President Donald Trump's legal team is demanding from the big four broadcast television networks equal time on air if they carry outgoing Democrat President Joe Biden's primetime speech on Wednesday evening wherein Biden is planning to explain why he is stepping aside and endorsing his Vice President Kamala Harris instead. David Warrington, counsel for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, sent letters to the heads of ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX demanding that if they air Biden's primetime address, Trump be given equal time to make his own case to the public. Trump is now formally the Republican nominee for president, having accepted the nomination last week at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Biden dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday and instead endorsed Harris to succeed him as the Democrat nominee for president. That means Biden's primetime address on Wednesday would be a purely political speech in favor of the Harris campaign. These letters to the networks from Trump's legal team, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News ahead of their public release, argue that Biden's speech does not represent a "bona fide news event" but instead represents "a primetime campaign commercial to boost Vice President Harris' anemic poll numbers."Trump is also trying to block KAHmala from taking possession of Biden's campaign war chest.
The Trump campaign has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (F.E.C.) against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, alleging campaign finance violations. The complaint centers on the transfer of funds from Biden's campaign to Harris's, following Biden's announcement that he will not seek re-election. Key Details: The complaint was filed by Trump campaign general counsel David Warrington, who described the transfer of funds as a "brazen money grab" and the largest violation in the history of the Federal Election Campaign Act. Biden's campaign amended its committee name to "Harris for President" after he declared he would not run for a second term, prompting the complaint from the Trump campaign. Legal experts are divided on the legitimacy of the complaint, and the F.E.C. has not yet commented on the matter.

And he's got some money so the Democrat-Media Regime might actually care.
A prominent name in the real estate sector is slamming the Democratic Party as a "sham" following President Joe Biden's decision to drop his reelection bid amid swirling questions about his health, declaring it is not the party it once was. Cardone Capital CEO Grant Cardone told Fox News a day after Biden's surprise announcement, "The Democratic Party I grew up being part of is no longer about regular people. Now we know it's all been a sham." "First thing I thought when I heard Biden would not run was, 'We've been lied to for over four years,'" he continued. "He should immediately step down." Biden's horrendous debate performance against former President Donald Trump in late June was a shock to many Americans as he stumbled and rambled his way through questions and responses. He often appeared confused, vacant, and unable to clearly enunciate his words. Not long afterward, a growing chorus of Democrats, donors, and party operatives began calling for him to drop out, which he did on Sunday, throwing his support behind his second-in-command, Vice President Kamala Harris. Now others, including Cardone, believe Biden should leave office altogether, citing his inability to campaign for another term as proof he can no longer be an effective commander-in-chief. "The idea that he can continue to be the leader of the United States for five more months is insane," Cardone said. "Knowing his compromised condition, it also means that our country is in ruins not being run by him, but by others... There was not even an explanation to 'we the people.'" ... "I'm in the south of France, and people from France, England, Dubai, Serbia, Canada, and Colombia have come up to tell me they can't believe what is happening in America... They want Trump. These are some of the most successful people in the world," the real estate tycoon noted further. "They believe him getting up after the assassination [attempt] makes it clear: Trump is the best thing for America and world peace."Speaking of Not Your Father's Democrat Party: 40 or more Democrats boycotted the Netanyahu speech, including Kamala Harris, who wants to show that unlike Joe Biden, she is no friend of Israel. Yes, she is trying to show that she's not as pro-Israel as the most anti-Israel president since, well, Barack Obama.
Over 40 House and Senate Democrats plan to boycott Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress Wednesday, citing various reasons for their absence. Key Details: The boycott includes Vice President Harris, Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray, and Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, among others. Some lawmakers will boycott entirely, others will listen from their offices, and some have organized counter-programming events. The primary reasons cited include opposition to Netanyahu's government and opposition to Israel's military response to Hamas's attack on October 7th of last year.

Isn't that convenient? They're telling Trump he has to stop holding large outdoor rallies.
Also known as "Trump's greatest campaign promotion tool." How nicely this works out for the Deep State and Democrat-Media Regime! Allow him to be shot, and then tell him he can no longer build voter enthusiasm for the election![D]o we really want to give the Secret Service a kind of Peter Principle* veto power on political rallies -- especially after the breathtaking incompetence on display in Butler County, PA? Somehow, the failure to secure an easily accessible roofline 130 yards from the stage doesn't sound like an esoteric point of failure for a supposedly world-class personal-protection operation, nor a signal of indoor excellence:NBC "News" is reporting that Trump has decided that the Secret Service's lethal incompetence requires him to abandon the rallies that are so central to his electoral strategy.[Washington Post:] Secret Service officials encouraged Donald Trump's campaign to stop scheduling large outdoor rallies and other outdoor events with big crowds after the assassination attempt on the former president in Butler, Pa., according to people familiar with the matter. In the aftermath of the shooting, agents from the Secret Service communicated their concerns about large outdoor rallies going forward to Trump campaign advisers, three people familiar with the matter said. ... For upcoming events, Trump's team is scouting indoor venues, such as basketball arenas and other large spaces where thousands of people can fit, people familiar with the request said. The campaign is not currently planning any large outdoor events, a person close to Trump said.
Former President Donald Trump plans to stop holding outdoor rallies like the one where he was shot during an assassination attempt this month in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to two sources familiar with his campaign's operations. The sources said current plans are to hold indoor rallies, but they also said it's possible Trump will participate in smaller outdoor events or larger rallies in facilities where entrances are more fully controlled and there are not issues with high ground nearby, like stadiums. Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung declined to comment on Trump's security measures and referred questions to the Secret Service. A spokesperson for the Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday night. The Secret Service is going to need all of its agents to protect the Second Husband, Kamala's cuck, of course. So they just can't assign the resources necessary to protect the front-running Once and Future President. Oh, drat!

In 2021, Disney's stock had been at $198.
Now, it's at $91. For those of you who aren't as good at math at me, $91 is what we call "less." It's the pointy side of the crocodile. Supposedly, Disney's stock price is falling due to poor attendance at their parks. There was once a time in the United States when a trip to Disneyland was part of the summer vacation standard. But those times are increasingly changing, and many today despair of the chance to ever return. And that's not helping Disney (DIS) shares, down over 2% in the closing minutes of Monday's trading. The price of a Disney experience these days is, for a lot of families out there, downright impossible to fit into a budget. So Disney, facing a decline in park attendance, is working to turn things around because a couple dozen super-wealthy people a day do not make for a working theme park. Disney is paring back hotel rates, offering summer dining plans, and even lowering ticket prices on some of its parks in a bid to draw regular people back to the park. Given that prices of a one-day park hopper ticket had risen as high as $254 each, it was clear something needed to be done. The discounted ticket is $154 but only allows access to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT. Adding actual Disney World to that will run another $109 per day minimum, which actually makes prices higher overall.Meanwhile, in a clear showing of no confidence in Disney, former Marvel owner (and Trump Mar-a-Lago friend) Ike Perlmutter has dumped his entire several-billion dollar stake in Disney.
While families are left with the terrible choice of seeing Disney for a couple of days or buying an entire television, Disney has announced that the animatronic character "Liver Lips McGrowl" is no longer a part of the Country Bear Jamboree. A recently concluded seven-month refurbishing effort saw the character removed, as his name was considered "derogatory" to alcoholics.
Nelson Peltz dumped his entire position of Disney stock previously, and now Perlmutter has dumped his billions of dollars worth of stock. It just could be that both of these men selling off their huge pool of stocks is partly responsible for the fall in Disney stock price. So now Iger and his board of yes-men cronies -- and his huge leftwing backers at BlackRock and Vanguard -- have Disney all to themselves, and don't have to fear any hostile takeovers and do not have to accede to any demand to put directors on the board who will actually stand up for the shareholders. It's all Iger's show now. Gird your loins, Disney shareholders. Disney had of course jumped in to invest in the dying, woke zombie show Doctor Who. It was on the verge of cancellation after three terrible seasons of the Woke Female Doctor, Doctor Karen. Disney told the showrunners to shoot for the moon and make it even woker and gayer. They did. And now it's on the verge of cancellation. Probably forever, this time. There is no longer a large fandom with good memories of Doctor Who. There will be no mass letter-writing campaigns to pressure the BBC to give it another chance. And so another former billion-dollar IP burns on the Bonfire of the Woke Vanities.
The stock is down 26% since April 2 -- when it closed at a 52-week high of $122.82 ahead of the shareholder vote. It was down more than 3%, to $91.22, in midday trading Tuesday. Perlmutter said he sold his stake between early April and mid-July at an average price of just under $115.
He expects the share price to continue to plunge, he told the Journal, and would jump in to buy back his stake if Disney's shares decline to $65 to $75 per share. Disney did not comment. Perlmutter's move comes after he gave control of his voting shares to activist investor Nelson Peltz in an ill-fated campaign to secure two seats on Disney's board of directors.
A new report has cast doubt on the future of Disney's lucrative deal Doctor Who with the BBC. In 2022, Disney bought the international distribution rights to Doctor Who, in a deal which considerably boosted the production budget for the recent 14th season. At the time the deal was announced, the BBC's chief content officer Charlotte Moore said: "Joining forces with Disney will elevate the show to even greater heights and reach new audiences so it's an extremely exciting time for fans in the UK and across the world." However, a new report by US trade outlet Deadline has claimed that the future of the deal is uncertain. The outlet notes that Doctor Who did not feature at Disney's "upfronts" presentation at the North Javits Center in May, where the company showcases its biggest forthcoming shows. In the piece, a "source close to the production" is quoted as saying they "feel its future hangs in the balance already". ... The report also describes the audience ratings surrounding the latest series as being "complex". On average, the latest season of Doctor Who drew in almost 1.5 million fewer viewers per episode (over seven days) than the final series starring the previous Doctor, Jodie Whittaker. What's so "complex"? The show lost even more viewers from the little-watched Doctor Karen period. It's a stone-cold failure.
... Another industry source is quote as saying: "The ratings are a problem. They can talk all they like about young viewers but they're still down from the specials and down from the Jodie [Whittaker] series. I imagine serious conversations are happening. Disney will want to see results."Maybe Disney is already seeing the results they wanted -- they got the first black gay doctor. That's all they really wanted. They don't want to make a profit, they just want to make propaganda. Disney's other big bomb this year was the woke Lesbian Space Witches show, The Acolyte. It also failed to attract an audience, and lost 90% of its initial audience through its run. Disney is claiming they haven't decided yet about whether to renew it. But the showrunner seems to know the writing is on the wall -- she says she needs a "break from Star Wars." See, it's her decision, you guys! She could have as a season 2 of Lesbian Space Witches if she wanted! But she wants to spend more time with her Indigo Girls albums!

The rumor goes that Trump is offering RFKJr. the job of Secretary of Health and Human Services.
One one hand, RFKJr. is a leftist and would push for Moar Socialized Medicine. On the other hand, he'd be aggressive in fighting Big Pharma. ABC "News:"Former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke multiple times in the span of a few days this month, multiple people familiar with the conversations told ABC News, including an in-person meeting in Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention where the two presidential candidates discussed ways Kennedy could be involved in a second Trump administration. At least one idea floated, according to two people with knowledge of the talks, was for Kennedy, a vaccine skeptic who speaks often about the perils of chronic disease, to oversee the Health and Human Services Department under a possible Trump administration. According to one source, the in-person meeting, which took place the Monday of the convention, never reached a point where Trump and Kennedy had a deal in place for Kennedy to exit the race and endorse the former president in exchange for a role in the administration. Rather, it was an "informal," "free flowing" conversation, the source said.I don't know if RFKJr. has any interest in such a deal. Especially with the Democrat Party in such disarray -- when Kamala flops, who knows, maybe RFKJr. would have an actual chance of winning. (I mean, not really, but he could think that.) It would be a big get, but I don't think Trump is going to get it.

It's in progress. He's about 27 minutes into it.
I'll add more as I catch up, but I wanted to post this while it's going on. He calls Iran the "axis of evil," and says we're not in a clash of civilizations, but a battle between civilization and "barbarism." Repeats Ronald Reagan's line: "We win, they lose." Note that Kamala Harris is deliberately snubbing Netanyahu and will not be present. She's the President of the Senate, so she could go. But she wants to reassure Muslim terrorists that she hates Jews just as much as they do. Or, as The Hill puts it, she's "putting daylight between" herself and Joe Biden on Israel. The Hill thinks Joe Biden is pro-Israel. And Joe Biden is too pro-Israel for today's Democrat Party. Netanyahu calls Biden a "friend to Israel" and even a "proud Zionist Irishman." So he's trying to destroy Biden's reputation among Democrats, huh?Posted by: Disinformation Expert Ace at 02:34 PM | Comments (471) | Trackbacks (Suck)
If you were really against racism, you'd know which way Kamala is pronouncing her name.
This week, I mean. She changes the pronunciation more than Dylan Mulvaney changes fake tampons.MSNBC "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski praised President Biden on Monday after his decision to bow out of the race and warned that right-wingers have already launched a "hate campaign" against Biden's endorsee, Vice President Kamala Harris. Brzezinski accused conservative media personalities of purposefully pronouncing Harris' first name wrong. "They do it all the time," she said. "It is on purpose." Harris announced her race for the White House on Sunday, almost immediately after Biden dropped out of the race and issued an endorsement for his vice president. "I've heard from inside Republican circles and right-wing media that the hate campaign against Kamala Harris has begun," Brzezinski said.I believe you, Public Fornicator. I completely believe that "insiders" in "Republican circles" called you up to tell you, "Our racist campaign against Kamala Harris has begun." Did your former husband believe you when you kept telling him you had to "work late" on a morning TV show?

A very happy Humpday to all.
Kamala Harris oversaw the dissolution of the border. This is now one of the biggest issues in politics -- and she's directly responsible. So she called up her palz at Axios (Politico for Kidz (TM)) and propaganda mill CNN to tell them to push a new storyline: There's "confusion" about Kamala being the Border Czar. All of you who remember Biden putting her in charge of the border are just hallucinating. The new Revised Reality says she was never in charge of the border. And if you continue saying otherwise, we'll deplatform you as a lunatic pushing disinformation. Haxios:
In early 2021, President Biden enlisted Vice President Kamala Harris to help with a slice of the migration issue -- a move that has turned into one of the newly-presumptive presidential nominee's first campaign headaches. Why it matters: Confusion around the VP's exact role, early media misfires and the rapidly changing regional migration crisis has made the issue a top target for the GOP trying to define their new opponent. And it has become even more critical for Harris' to find a clear border message, fast. The administration's early infighting, blame-shifting and indecision around their border response does not help her, either. Driving the news: In the past few days, the Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the "border czar" title -- which she never actually had. "Harris was appointed 'border czar' in March of 2021, and since that time, millions and millions of illegal aliens have invaded our country and countless Americans have been killed by migrant crime because of her willful demolition of America borders and laws," Trump told reporters on a call on Tuesday. House GOP Chair Elise Stefanik introduced a resolution condemning the administration and its "Border Czar" for failing to secure the U.S. Harris supporters have rushed to her defense. "She assumed the role that Vice President Biden had during the Obama administration, which is diplomacy with Central America," former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson told Fox News on Tuesday. "She is not the border czar." How we got here: In March 2021, Biden tapped Harris to lead the administration's coordination with Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, which were key sources of migration to the border. The announcement led to near immediate confusion in the media and in the White House over how involved Harris would be, with Republicans and some news outlets, including Axios, giving Harris the unofficial monicker of "border czar." Shortly after, the border surge had grown into a full-blown humanitarian and political crisis. The "border czar" narrative stuck especially in conservative circles, and calls mounted in the spring of 2021 for Harris to visit the border.Note that many people, including Haxios itself, previously reported that she was the border czar. So they have to claim that there was just so much "confusion" about this that we were all deceived by our eyes and ears. She was never appointed, officially, "border czar" -- merely given responsibility over a "slice" of the issue, namely, to get three of the biggest sources of illegal migration to cut down the flow of illegals. And did they? No. So she failed in her "slice" of the issue. Of course, Haxios was itself "confused" -- they previously reported that Kamala was "the border czar." Ed Morrissey notes that of course she was never formally named "Border Czar," because "czar" is and always has been an unofficial posting.
First off, the term "czar" has been commonly used for decades to denote a specific portfolio assignment in US administrations. Of course it's not an official title, because it's a colloquialism borrowed from the Russian imperial era, a term which got used for a very good reason. A "czar" takes full leadership via an informal grant of presidential authority over a particular issue in order to provide efficient leadership and solutions to a pressing political problem. Policy czars answer only to presidents and are fully vested with his authority, if informally, to act immediately and finally. And that's exactly what Biden did in March 2021 in assigning Harris to run the administration's efforts to deal with the border crisis. As the Associated Press reported at the time (Jazz linked this earlier as well), Biden assigned both the border and the diplomacy to Harris ... who ended up handling neither[.]

A Michigan man suspected of running down an 80-year-old with an ATV in a politically motivated attack has been found dead by apparent suicide, according to reports. The 22-year-old suspect was found in his home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on Monday, after having called police looking to confess, according to WLUC. “Send someone to pick me up,” the unidentified suspect told cops, who responded to his Quincy home and found him dead. The suspect had accosted the elderly man as he placed pro-Donald Trump signs in his yard, initially ripping them up while speeding by on the ATV. When the victim tried to put the signs back, the suspect ran him down with the ATV and fled. Prior to the vicious attack, the suspect was seen smashing car windows and slashing tires.Must've been one of those sloped ATVs, right? Well, when Trump is literally Hitler then everyone who supports him is fair game.
Meanwhile, not everyone is happy with what the Democrats have done, including those wonderfull humanitarians of BLM.
In a statement on Tuesday, the group admitted that while President Joe Biden had not been their “preferred candidate,” they could not “ignore the troubling actions of the Democratic Party,” and called for the DNC to hold a primary throughout the United States before the Democratic National Convention took place in August. . . . . . “We do not live in a dictatorship,” the group wrote. “Delegates are not oligarchs. Any attempt to evade or override the will of voters in our primary system-must be condemned. We demand an informal, virtual snap primary now that the incumbent president is no longer in the running. ” . . . BLM described the current political situation within the Democratic Party as being “unprecedented” after Biden had withdrawn from the presidential race and decided not to seek reelection. “This moment calls for decisive action to protect the integrity of our democracy and the voices of Black voters,” the group added. “While Joe Biden wasn’t our preferred candidate, we cannot ignore the troubling actions of the Democratic Party.”2-4-6-8 - RECREATE '68!!!! Law enforcement at Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally reportedly had an individual stationed atop the "sloped" roof used by the shooter prior to the incident, but it was abandoned because of "hot weather," according to a whistleblower familiar with Secret Service planning. Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley released a letter on X (formerly known as Twitter) to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas on Monday, calling out Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle's previous claim that security had not been stationed on the roof where gunshots were later fired from due to it being "sloped," according to NBC News. "Contrary to Director Cheatle's public statements about the 'safety' of the sloped roof of American Glass Research Building 6, one whistleblower with direct knowledge of Secret Service planning for the event alleges that there was supposed to be a law enforcement presence on the roof that day," Hawley wrote. Hawley claimed a whistleblower alleges "at least one" security agent had been posted on the rooftop of the American Glass Research Building 6, but later "abandoned his or her post," leaving law enforcement to "forego patrolling" the building.
"In fact, the whistleblower alleges that at least one individual was specifically assigned to the roof for the duration of the rally, but this person abandoned his or her post due to the hot weather. The whistleblower further alleges that concerns over the heat prompted law enforcement to forego patrolling Building 6 and instead to station security personnel inside the building," Hawley wrote. ...Below, Josh Hawley talks about the whistleblowers' claims. He points out that there was air conditioning in the building, which may explain why agents at the building decided to "secure it" from the inside. He also notes that those big air conditioning units on the sides of the building made it very easy to climb up to the roof. There were also supposed to be security personnel, whether SS or local police, patrolling outside the building. But apparently they blew that off. The local cops seem to have failed, here. But the Secret Service had to contract these "local law enforcement resources" because they were shorting Trump on Secret Service assets to give them to perk-hog Jill Biden, and then assigning Trump the All-Girls D-Team on top of that. When the truth is revealed for all to see - that Joe Biden caused Trump's assassination because he wanted to deny him Secret Service protection out of spite and hatred -- there will have to be real reckoning with the party of political violence.
The Secret Service, Homeland Security, and Hawley's office did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation's request for comment.

This won't change the balance of power, because the super-loon governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, will just appoint an even more partisan and woke replacement.
Note that Democrats did not vote to eject Menendez, as the craven Republicans did with George Santos, whose "crimes" were a pittance compared to this venal animal's.But you didn't vote to exclude him from the Senate. You wanted that (D) vote.
Bob Menendez to resign from Senate amid Democratic pressure after guilty verdict
Democrat Sen Bob Menendez was found guilty on all 16 counts
Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., will resign from the Senate after significant pressure from Democrats to do so following a guilty verdict in his federal corruption case. The New Jersey Democrat was found guilty on all 16 counts, which included charges of extortion, bribery, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, wire fraud, and acting as a foreign agent. The trial lasted nine weeks and the jury deliberated for three days before reaching a verdict. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., immediately called for Menendez's resignation, despite initially holding off from doing so after the charges were announced. "In light of this guilty verdict, Senator Menendez must now do what is right for his constituents, the Senate, and our country, and resign," he said in a statement.
... If Menendez did not take the recent advice of Democrats to resign following the verdict, some had threatened the route of expulsion from the Senate. But that would require a two-thirds majority vote in the chamber, which can be difficult to achieve among lawmakers.I have for years and years been skipping past CNN stories in order to find stories by Fox News. I'm not going to do that anymore. As you can see from the above excuse-making -- claiming it would be too hard to expel Menendez (even with all Republicans voting in favor of it!) -- Fox News spins more for the Democrat Party than even CNN. Done. Done.

Mayorkas Selects Former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano for "Independent Security Review" of Trump Assassination Attempt By Eric Lendrum
July 23, 2024 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced his intention to launch an "independent security review" of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, which will consist of a four-person panel that includes one of his predecessors, Janet Napolitano.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, Mayorkas released a statement on Sunday announcing the creation of the panel. Mayorkas had previously worked for Napolitano while she served as DHS Secretary for the entirety of Barack Obama's first term; she had previously served as Governor of Arizona, and went on to serve as President of the University of California system after her DHS tenure.
Napolitano has long been an opponent of President Trump and his policies. In 2017, she filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration over its immigration policies. She later claimed on a conference call in 2020 that Trump had "no plan for how to deal with the issues of structural racism that we have seen erupt around the country," and accused Trump of "throwing gasoline on the fire" after a peaceful protest at the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021. Another member of the panel will be Mark Filip, a former Department of Justice (DOJ) official who was part of the sweetheart deal that was ultimately granted to convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein back in 2008. Also on the panel are Fran Townsend, a former national security official during the George W. Bush Administration, and former University of Maryland police superintendent David Mitchell.

Some prominent Democratic donors are balking at contributing to Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential bid, suggesting she'd never beat Donald Trump because she's too unpopular. Big money donors have quietly advised promising candidates -- who they view as the future of the party -- including Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to hold their powder and let Harris clinch the democratic nomination. Sources told The Post it is "impossible" for anyone besides Harris to get the nomination given the decision has to be made in mere weeks. These people add that it would be "suicide" to try and mount a challenge at this point since President Biden has anointed Harris as his successor. One deep-pocketed donor told The Post he does not believe any Democrat can win in 2024 -- and that it makes sense for Harris to take the fall on some of Biden's most unpopular positions like immigration. The source dismissed the idea that Harris would push Democrats to victory, "It's the same ticket ... it's over for both of them [Biden and Harris]." The person added that he and other donors will lay low the rest of 2024 and instead focus on supporting candidates they believe can win in 2028. Other mega donors are opening up publicly on X about their concerns over Harris' political stances. "You have to be enthusiastic or hoping for a political appointment to be asking friends for money. I am neither. It's others turn now," deep-pocketed donor John Morgan wrote on X, hours after Biden announced he was dropping out of the 2024 race. "The donors holding the 90 million can release those funds in the morning. It's all yours. You can keep my million. And good luck," added Morgan, a Florida personal injury lawyer, referring to the group of party contributors who recently refused to allow their donated money to be used to fuel what was widely seen as Biden's doomed bid. Morgan previously donated $1 million to the former Biden-Harris campaign. He said he sees Biden's endorsement of his controversial second-in-command as the president's revenge. "Joe Biden's endorsement of Kamala is his f--k you to all who pushed him out," Morgan wrote. "Be careful what you wish for."That said, some polls -- which are often the props of strippers -- suggest that Kamala is enjoying a big "honeymoon" boost.

Decision Desk HQWe won't have a good idea of what the real public sentiment is until a week after the Democrat convention. Expect a lot of different poll numbers until the end of August, when they'll stabilize. Hopefully in our favor. Update: Trump's pollster says the same that I did -- this is the "Honeymoon" phase, and we'll have to wait a month to see where the polls finally stabilize. I don't mind polls showing Harris doing okay right now. I want Democrats to think that she's their best option, because she's one of their weakest possible choices. First of all, as Ethan Van Sciver put it, she's a "ding-a-ling." She's a "giggling idiot," someone else called her. Brit Hume, if I remember correctly (which I probably don't). She will not wear well. Especially when she gets caught slurring-drunk at 3pm in the afternoon again. She will fall out of the Rum-and-Coke-anut tree again. Second of all, she is the Democrat most bound to Biden's disastrous presidency apart from Biden. Other Democrats could step in and simply disown Biden's record, saying that they would have, in some vague way, "done things differently." As an aide to the cynical flake liberal Mitt Romney said, they would just "shake the Etch-a-Sketch" and start fresh. But Kamala can't do that -- in order to claim she's qualified for the job at all, she'll have to lie and claim she was an "important part" of the Biden administration and decision-making. But the more she does that, they more she smears herself with Biden's many, many failures. She is hardcore on all the woke sh!t people are finally admitting they hate, from open borders to donating to BLM and encouraging the riots to continue. Finally, this is the wrong time for a DEI candidate. 2008-2013 was, of course, the right time for a DEI candidate. But the nation is waking up to the DEI scam and all the failures, disasters, and deaths it creates.

Kamala Harris (D): 44.4% This is R+0.3% since last week. This average is based on 7 polls.
