Biden Mega-Donors Balk At Contributing to Kamala Harris, Saying She's Too Woke and Too Far-Left
Some prominent Democratic donors are balking at contributing to Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential bid, suggesting she'd never beat Donald Trump because she's too unpopular. Big money donors have quietly advised promising candidates -- who they view as the future of the party -- including Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to hold their powder and let Harris clinch the democratic nomination. Sources told The Post it is "impossible" for anyone besides Harris to get the nomination given the decision has to be made in mere weeks. These people add that it would be "suicide" to try and mount a challenge at this point since President Biden has anointed Harris as his successor. One deep-pocketed donor told The Post he does not believe any Democrat can win in 2024 -- and that it makes sense for Harris to take the fall on some of Biden's most unpopular positions like immigration. The source dismissed the idea that Harris would push Democrats to victory, "It's the same ticket ... it's over for both of them [Biden and Harris]." The person added that he and other donors will lay low the rest of 2024 and instead focus on supporting candidates they believe can win in 2028. Other mega donors are opening up publicly on X about their concerns over Harris' political stances. "You have to be enthusiastic or hoping for a political appointment to be asking friends for money. I am neither. It's others turn now," deep-pocketed donor John Morgan wrote on X, hours after Biden announced he was dropping out of the 2024 race. "The donors holding the 90 million can release those funds in the morning. It's all yours. You can keep my million. And good luck," added Morgan, a Florida personal injury lawyer, referring to the group of party contributors who recently refused to allow their donated money to be used to fuel what was widely seen as Biden's doomed bid. Morgan previously donated $1 million to the former Biden-Harris campaign. He said he sees Biden's endorsement of his controversial second-in-command as the president's revenge. "Joe Biden's endorsement of Kamala is his f--k you to all who pushed him out," Morgan wrote. "Be careful what you wish for."That said, some polls -- which are often the props of strippers -- suggest that Kamala is enjoying a big "honeymoon" boost.

Expect a lot of different poll numbers until the end of August, when they'll stabilize. Hopefully in our favor. Update: Trump's pollster says the same that I did -- this is the "Honeymoon" phase, and we'll have to wait a month to see where the polls finally stabilize. I don't mind polls showing Harris doing okay right now. I want Democrats to think that she's their best option, because she's one of their weakest possible choices. First of all, as Ethan Van Sciver put it, she's a "ding-a-ling." She's a "giggling idiot," someone else called her. Brit Hume, if I remember correctly (which I probably don't). She will not wear well. Especially when she gets caught slurring-drunk at 3pm in the afternoon again. She will fall out of the Rum-and-Coke-anut tree again. Second of all, she is the Democrat most bound to Biden's disastrous presidency apart from Biden. Other Democrats could step in and simply disown Biden's record, saying that they would have, in some vague way, "done things differently." As an aide to the cynical flake liberal Mitt Romney said, they would just "shake the Etch-a-Sketch" and start fresh. But Kamala can't do that -- in order to claim she's qualified for the job at all, she'll have to lie and claim she was an "important part" of the Biden administration and decision-making. But the more she does that, they more she smears herself with Biden's many, many failures. She is hardcore on all the woke sh!t people are finally admitting they hate, from open borders to donating to BLM and encouraging the riots to continue. Finally, this is the wrong time for a DEI candidate. 2008-2013 was, of course, the right time for a DEI candidate. But the nation is waking up to the DEI scam and all the failures, disasters, and deaths it creates.

News that former President Jimmy Carter died on Tuesday does not appear to be true. X (formerly known as Twitter) is blowing up right now because of an "announcement" that appears to have been originally posted by far-right political activist and internet personality Laura Loomer. The post quickly began trending on social media, with many people retweeting it without taking a closer look. If they had, they would have noticed the multiple inaccurate statements specifically in paragraphs two through four. Horrendous a human being as Joe Biden is (or was assuming he is still alive let alone compos mentis or compost) what the Democrat Left and the other powers that be did to him and to all of us, regardless of our politics, is every bit as disgusting as what has been done to Donald Trump vis a vis the shampeachments and kangaroo court show trials, let alone the assassination attempt. I get no schadenfreude from it, as it is yet another indication that whatever last vestiges of our nation as founded, and any shred of decency, morality and ethics have been completely eviscerated, or are on the verge of it.
Because those who installed Biden after sabotaging and then stealing the 2020 election somehow now feel as if their hold on power and their chance to seize and cement it once and for all sense that that ultimate goal might be slipping away, for a host of reasons, felt it necessary to get rid of him via what was and is in fact a textbook coup.The putschists who prevailed against President Biden therefore err badly in their assumptions, chief among them the belief that the office, not the man, is the singular thing conferring meaning and therefore power. In 1798 a predecessor in the presidency wrote to the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Militia of Massachusetts, then preparing to go to war with the French Republic, reminding its officers that “[o]ur Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Solemn affirmations of basic rights are after all commonplaces in the constitutions and laws of nearly every autocratic society. . . . This, the ranks of dead collectivities, is where the United States finds itself under the present regime. The coup d’état of July 21st is merely a dramatic symptom. Note the artifice of it all, shot through with the cant and strictures of propositionalism. We could list the details at length, from the rapid coordination of the involved elites, each pursuing the fiction of reaction to affairs that they themselves authored, to the overthrow of the expressed will of tens of millions of primary voters. Even heads of state who visit that are not our allies, and some who are even considered rivals or enemies are traditionally met by the President. The fact that greeting Bibi could lose the Democrats Minnesota and Michigan and the support of those who harass or assault Jews on campuses and even in the streets in broad daylight I'm sure was part of the calculus, as well as not wanting to anger their friends in Tehran. So, Biden and Harris are absent, so who is running the show.

The test done on July 1, 1959, proved that the concept worked, but there were devils in the details. The temperature reached 2,683 K, which caused hydrogen corrosion in the rods and expelled parts of the core through the nozzle, a problem known as "shedding."

The primary impetus for this renewed interest despite some issues with past attempts is China's growing space industry. Nuclear rockets make far more efficient use of the reaction mass than chemical rockets, but are only practical for general use once you pass a certain size - about the size of SpaceX's starship - because you can't make small nuclear reactors.
Not unless you are willing to kill everyone who works on the project, anyway.

@charliekirk11 Got a weird lead on a story that people should look into. I got a call from a source close to Las Vegas Metro. The official story was that Joe Biden's trip was cut short last week due to COVID. However, according to this source, US Secret Service informed LV Metro that there was an emergency situation involving Joe Biden and to close necessary streets so that POTUS could be transported immediately to University Medical, which they began to do in earnest. Then, mysteriously, there was a stand down order and the USSS informed local Vegas PD that they were going to "medivac" POTUS to Johns Hopkins, which they presumed meant fly him back east ASAP. Apparently the rumor mill in the police department was that Joe Biden was dying or possibly already dead. I didn't think too much about this lead, seemed too wild to be true, but given that Joe Biden has been out of public sight for days and dropped out of the race via an X post, and his brother James indicated health was a factor, I'm beginning to grow more curious if COVID or something else has been more serious than reported. Did Biden Really Agree to Withdraw? If So, Why Isn't He Making a Pubic Declaration?
The twitter post about it means nothing, because we've known forever that Biden has nothing to do with that account.

Until Biden signs on the line that he's withdrawing, we should not permit him to withdraw (or to be withdrawn by others). We require a signature and a witness for most legal matters. But in this case, we're taking the word of a twitter account run by anonymous propagandists? No. Supposedly Biden's White House staffers only learned that Biden was "dropping out" from the tweet that was written and posted by someone other than Joe Biden.

I thought that if Joe Biden was going to do this, he would've announced that he had a presser or... some sort of big statement that he was going to give from the Oval Office or from the White House somewhere, and that he was going to do that at a preset time later in the evening.... I mean, when Joe Biden wakes up and someone tells him he's no longer running for president, he's gonna be quite shocked about that. I would assume. So, yeah, what evidence do we have that Joe Biden knows he has given up his candidacy and released the delegates pledged to him? We haven't seen him. He's been sick with Covid. When last we heard from him in person he was defiantly clinging to the candidacy, apparently still believing that he is the one person who can save the world from Donald Trump. We were simply handed written statements. Shapiro imagines Joe Biden shocked to hear that he's dropped out. He could be shocked because he didn't actually agree to drop out, but he could be shocked because he actually is something like what Ben Shapiro calls "totally senile" and he doesn't remember or understand what he did or supposedly did yesterday. Is his written statement binding?
POLITICOI started to feel that Biden would not drop out after all of those statements that he was in it to win it on Friday. I kept saying, "All he has to do to resist this pressure is just keep saying, 'no.' And that's all he has to do, say 'no.'" But then on Saturday, I realized that wasn't true: They could force Biden out: By the 25th Amendment process. The scenario I considered is that every Cabinet secretary (they vote in the 25th Amendment process) could come forward to Biden and tell him, "If you force us to invoke the 25th Amendment, we will all vote that you are 'incapacitated,' and you'll lose this presidency as well as the next one. And you'll go down in history as the first officially-senile president." So here's my own conspiracy theory about why Joe isn't talking: Joe called their bluff and said "then have your vote." They voted, and declared him incapacitated -- secretly. Then, instead of making this public, they took the vote to Biden, and said, "We are about to announce this. But you can negotiate a way out. Just withdraw from the race, and we'll bury this vote and never speak of it again." That could explain this very strange situation. Obviously, this would mean that Biden is currently not the president, as upon the taking of this (hypothetical) vote he ceased to be president and Kamala Harris became president, and that means that the nation is currently being run by an illegal junta. In other words-- par for the course. Per Wikipedia: they could even declare him temporarily incapacitated, and then restore him to office when they decide the "incapacitation" ends. In other words, when Biden says "Okay, I withdraw."

Donald Trump revealed Saturday that he was not warned by the Secret Service about the gunman who shot him at a Pennsylvania rally last weekend -- despite agents eyeing the suspect for hours before the attack. "Nobody mentioned it," Trump, 78, told Jesse Watters in an upcoming episode of the Fox News anchor's primetime show. "Nobody said it was a problem," the Republican presidential nominee said. "[They] could've said, 'Let's wait for 15, 20 minutes, 5 minutes.' Nobody said...I think that was a mistake," he added. Trump questioned how gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to climb onto a roof with a rifle in hand just 130 yards away from the politician without the Secret Service taking action.
Police even saw Crooks on the building 26 minutes before he opened fire -- and were alerted by frantically screaming witnesses -- but didn't take action. The Secret Service didn't make any moves until after Crooks squeezed off up to seven shots at Trump, grazing the candidate in the ear and killing one audience member.

THE MORNING RANT: “Preserving Our Democracy” – While National Democrats Purge Their Democratically Elected Nominee, Georgia Democrats Seek to Purge Competition from the Ballot
The big news over the past several weeks – outside of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and related security omissions – has been the ongoing palace coup against Joe Biden.
The news media and pundits became domestic Kremlinologists as they tried to work their sources for leaks about what was going on behind closed doors among high-ranking Democrats who sought to remove the sitting President from the ballot, even though President Biden had won the nomination at the ballot box during the primaries. We should not be having palace coups in this country. We ought not need Kremlinologists to determine if “the party” is planning a coup. And we cannot tolerate ballot-substitutions for general elections after voters have already democratically* chosen their party’s candidate via primary elections. [*I am using the generally accepted definition of “democracy” as being representative government as elected by voters. The fact that we are largely governed by bureaucrats and judges but not by elected representatives is a discussion for another day.] National Democrats and their media mouthpieces have made “saving democracy” the foundation of their sales pitch in the Trump era. But now we are finding out that Democrats will gladly sabotage democracy to avoid losing power. Apparently you must undermine democracy to save democracy. It’s not just national Democrats launching an assault on the ballot box however, it’s happening at the state level too. In Georgia, state Democrats are furiously trying to keep a collection of leftist presidential candidates off the ballot, lest they draw votes from whomever the Democrats finally install as their un-democratically chosen presidential candidate. “Georgia Democrats file challenges to keep Kennedy and others off presidential ballot” [AP – 7/15/2024]Georgia Democrats are challenging efforts to place Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and three other candidates on the state’s presidential ballots, part of a nationwide effort to block candidates who could siphon votes from incumbent President Joe Biden.The Democrats’ efforts to keep other left-wing presidential candidates off the November ballot isn’t just restricted to the state of Georgia.
Spokespersons for alternative candidates say they’re also seeing challenges in Delaware, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia. “We expect to be challenged in every state that we file in this year,” said Rick Lass, ballot access director for the Green Party’s Stein.Oh right, the Green Party. I vividly recall the 2000 election when Democrats proudly embraced “election denialism” and accused George W. Bush and the Supreme Court of stealing the election. Democrats were also furious at Ralph Nader and the Green Party for capturing the votes of eco-minded individuals who otherwise would have cast their presidential ballots for climate prophet Al Gore.
Kennedy and Cornel West, seeking access as independents in Georgia, can only make the ballot through the petition process. Claudia De la Cruz, the nominee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, also submitted petitions. All three say they submitted enough signatures before a July 9 deadline. Currently, voter registrations and signatures are being verified by county election offices…Activists are obtaining thousands of signatures via petitions to get their candidate on the ballot. Who could oppose that level of grass roots democracy? The answer is, “Democrats.”
Democrats also argue that at least some of the signatures on the petitions filed for Kennedy, West and De la Cruz are invalid because the petitions are wrongly or incompletely filled out. Democrats also argue that Kennedy and West, as independents, must submit separate petitions for all 16 electors. The challengers say West’s electors didn’t qualify before an earlier June 21 deadline, and that electors for Kennedy, West and De la Cruz all failed to pay required $1.50 filing fees.”…at least some of the signatures on the petitions filed for Kennedy, West and De la Cruz are invalid because the petitions are wrongly or incompletely filled out.” Yet these same establishment Democrats objecting to imperfect petition signatures that might benefit the Green Party candidate are opposed to ballot integrity or performing signature verification on absentee ballots that benefit Democrat candidates in the general election. Go figure. It’s almost like there is not any great principle regarding “our precious democracy” going on after all. Who knew?
“We reject the hypocrisy of the Democratic Party in claiming to be the protectors of democracy from Trump as they infringe on the rights of tens of thousands of voters who want more options on the Georgia ballot,” Smolarek said in a statement.“Saving our democracy” turns out to be just an Orwellian euphemism for snuffing out democracy whenever and wherever needed to keep the Democrats in power.
