- Remarkably uncontaminated with cheese: The 5070 Ti has sold out. (Tom's Hardware)
In minutes.
The $750 sacrificial edition? Sold out.
The $1000 costs-as-much-as-a-5080 edition? Sold out.
Everything in between? Sold out as last week's limburger.
You can expect new stock in two to six weeks, at which point it will burn down, fall over, and sell out.
The 5090 could take as long as 14 weeks to restock.
- Launches of the 5070 and 5060 could be delayed due to a sudden total existence failure. (WCCFTech)
Or not. They might just continue with the 90% post-consumer waste launches.
- My graphics card has shipped.
Quick note on that: The 5070 Ti has listed in Australia at an effective exchange rate of $1 to A$2, which is even worse than the real exchange rate. The $750 sacrificial card is A$1500, though of course it's not available at all in either country.
Comparing retail prices on the Radeon 7800 XT that I bought, the conversion is more like $1 to A$1.25, which is much better than the real exchange rate.
I don't know precisely why, but this card is a great buy in Australia but only meh in the US. Unless something really surprising happens with AMD's new cards, I made the right decision.
I expect the 9070 XT to offer 25% to 50% better performance than the 7800 XT, but cost twice as much in Australia. America is another country.

Eyal YakobyCBD ably covered this this morning, but we can talk more about this death-worshiping demonic cult of murderers and rapists.
@EYakoby BREAKING: Israel's Channel 14 has reported that after seeing the dead baby parade from Gaza, President Trump said to his advisors: "I want to see Gaza wiped out; I don't want to see even one building standing."
People point out the Red Cross never once visited the hostages to check on their welfare. But they rush to take part in a ghoulish Hamas propaganda event. The AP continues its relentless, remorseless defense of terrorists by repeating their claims, made WITHOUT EVIDENCE:
In their most shocking propaganda display to date, Hamas terrorists paraded the coffins of two dead children, their mother, and an 83-year-old man through the streets of Gaza before throngs of cheering Palestinians. The macabre scene unfolded on Thursday morning as Hamas returned the bodies of four Israeli captives who were held for more than 500 days: Shiri Bibas, 32; her two children, 4-year-old Ariel and 9-month-old Kfir; and 83-year-old Oded Lifshitz. The caskets bore smiling pictures of those killed alongside messages listing their "date of arrest" as Oct. 7, 2023. Hamas displayed the caskets on a makeshift stage in front of an anti-Semitic sign depicting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a bloodthirsty vampire snarling above a photo of the murdered captives. The sign included the caption, "The War Criminal Netanyahu & His Nazi Army Killed Them with Missiles from Zionist Warplanes." There is no evidence to date that supports the claim. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) dispatched one of its staffers to sit with a uniformed Hamas terrorist at a camouflage table and sign "paperwork." The committee then transported the bodies through the Gaza Strip as cheering crowds of onlookers celebrated, waving Palestinian flags and shouting "victory" in Arabic. Other videos show masked Hamas gunmen casually chatting with excited Gazans out on the streets. When the coffins reached Israeli soil, they were scanned for bombs and booby traps and then opened for examination to confirm the identities of those inside. Hamas locked the caskets shut but did not provide keys to Israel, forcing authorities to smash the locks open. The ICRC's role in the barbaric display is likely to bring increased scrutiny toward the organization, which failed to fulfill its mandate to visit the hostages and assess their health, as the group routinely does during traditional conflicts. It has since participated in Hamas's propagandistic hostage release displays, sending officials to appear on stage with Hamas terrorists, shake hands, and sign papers in similar scenes to the one that played out on Thursday. Some Republicans on Capitol Hill have responded to those displays by threatening to cut funding for the ICRC and strip protections that protect the organization from terror-related lawsuits, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

FDD
@FDD .@mdubowitz: "The moment we all dreaded for 18 months arrived today -- Shiri Bibas and her little boys, Ariel and Kfir, finally returned from Gaza to be laid to rest with love and dignity. But even in death, Hamas couldn't resist another grotesque spectacle, parading their coffins beside an antisemitic caricature of the Israeli prime minister as a blood-dripping vampire. The hatred is unmistakable."

Deadline Hollywood:
The BBC has apologized and added a clarification to its Gaza: How To Survive a Warzone documentary that featured the son of a Hamas minister, after nearly 50 entertainment figures sent a letter to the corporation to urge an investigation.Oh, it's a clarification. They had to clarify your stupid Zionist assumption that this was an independently-produced and objective documentary. I'm sure their apology is very sincere.
The BBC "had not been informed of this information" by the independent producers behind the doc, the corporation added, following backlash from dozens of senior entertainment figures including former BBC controller Danny Cohen, J.K. Rowling's agent Neil Blair, agent Anita Land and ex-Got Talent commissioner Claudia Rosencrantz. The letter was sent to Director General Tim Davie, content chief Charlotte Moore and BBC News boss Deborah Turness earlier today, urging an investigation after the documentary about children in Gaza that failed to declare that the lead contributor was the son of Hamas royalty.
Whoops! Whoopsie!
Jake Kanter
@Jake_Kanter Oh dear, this is a major blunder. The BBC admits it did not know that the child protagonist in documentary Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone was the son of Hamas royalty. It blames the independent producer for not sharing this info during editorial checks. Is it fair for the BBC to throw the independent producer under the bus? I suspect many will conclude not. This film was commissioned by a team of seasoned current affairs filmmakers/journalists who sit under BBC News CEO Deborah Turness.
George Costanza, a BBC executive funded by a grant from The Human Fund (in turn funded by USAID) emailed me: "Was that wrong? Because, I gotta tell you, I ran a lot of Hamas-produced 'documentaries' at other leftwing state media propaganda outlets, and they were okay with it. If anyone had said something to me..." And prepare for another shock: Hamas is already attempting to bomb Israeli buses filled with kids and other civilians again:

@Jake_Kanter Here's a statement from Danny Cohen, the former BBC television chief turned BBC interrogator-in-chief, who has been consistently raising concerns about anti-Israeli bias in Gaza crisis coverage.

The Democrats, by which I mean the media, are on the wrong side of most issues. They have the 20% side of every 80/20 split.
So they are resorting to the usual lies that parties defending the indefensible are forced to resort to: First, they claim that "of course everyone is in favor of hypothetical cuts to the budget." Their only problem is with this specific cut. And this specific cut. And all of these specific cuts. In other words, they claim to support cuts in principle but every single tangible, real-world example of a cut that's presented to them is rejected completely. While they continue lying, claiming "of course everyone concedes the budget can and should be cut." Oh? Which cuts are you guys bringing to the table? You keep saying you support cuts, but then oppose every single cut that Musk or Trump mention. If every Democrat Media Operative who claims "we all support cutting the budget" actually each proposed their own unique budget cut, we'd cut the budget by one trillion dollars in a week. But of course, they won't, because they're lying. The people saying "no one debates that the budget can be trimmed" are the same people fighting to their last breath to not trim a single dime from the budget. They also avoid questions about policy, a battleground they lose decisively on, and instead ankle-bite on questions of process. This is why CNN's fat-faced propagandist Brianna Keillor (or whatever) keeps insisting that "no one is debating" whether there is bloat in the federal budget (despite debating that right in this clip). She insists that her only objection is about how it's done and who's doing it. That is, she doesn't want Musk doing it. Would she support anyone else doing the same that Musk is doing? Of course not. This entire pose is a lie. She is against cutting funding -- any funding -- but knows this is an extremely unpopular position so she just keeps making what lawyers would call "collateral attacks," arguing around the margins about this and that, with the intention of stopping the budget cuts she says that "everyone" agrees are needed. Keillor kept mounting a collateral attack on DOGE, demanding to know who was in charge of it. Steven Miller lectured this Semi-Mobile Donut Disposal Unit patiently, as if she were a child (and she does seem to have a child-level intelligence), about the very obvious and basic facts of executive authority: All executive power is imbued in a single figure, the president, who appoints officials to carry out his will throughout government. So who's in charge of DOGE? Ultimately, it's Trump. Musk is merely his agent. But the media continues demanding answers to the non-question of "Who elected Musk?" so Steven Miller took the podium at the White House briefing room to explain, once again, that no one elected Musk, just as no one elected any of the other 100,000+ officials in the US government, but Trump was in fact elected by the country and he has empowered Musk to act on his behalf, the same as he would with literally any other functionary in government. He also pointed out that the same media which now demands to know "Who's really in control of the government"? actively conspired with Biden's aides to hide his mental infirmity from the public and never once asked -- even until this day -- who was really running the Biden administration.Posted by: Ace at 03:51 PM | Comments (482) | Trackbacks (Suck)

Mitch McConnell announces his retirement with his One Yellow Light
Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., will not run for re-election in 2026 and will instead retire, the longtime senator announced Thursday. McConnell has served in the Senate for decades, including as Senate majority leader under President Donald Trump's first administration. McConnell is the longest-serving Senate party leader in U.S. history, and he announced his retirement on his 83rd birthday. "Seven times, my fellow Kentuckians have sent me to the Senate," McConnell said in prepared remarks to the Senate floor. "Every day in between, I've been humbled by the trust they've placed in me to do their business here. Representing our commonwealth has been the honor of a lifetime. I will not seek this honor an eighth time. My current term in the Senate will be my last." McConnell was first elected in 1984, and he plans to serve out the rest of his term ending in January 2027.These power-loving narcissists just refuse to leave the stage, ever. They are so filled with ego they imagine they are indispensable. As a sage said, the graveyards are filled with self-styled "indispensable men."
The announcement comes after a series of health scares for McConnell, who has frozen up during statements to the public on multiple occasions. His office never provided an explanation for the episodes.

Update: He Gave $2 Billion to a Group Fronted by Stacy Abrams

If Trump accomplishes nothing else, if he manages to end the Obama-Biden (and older) grift of Democrats stealing taxpayer money to fund Democrat political psyops organizations, he will be the most consequential president since the Civil War. By the way, we already read about this organization. It was the group that was founded just in time to accept two billion from Biden, despite having previous revenues of only one hundred dollars. What we didn't know was that it was a Stacy Abrams grift.
It doesn't just raise questions, it answers them.
DOGE discovered $2 billion in taxpayer funds set aside for a fledgling nonprofit linked to perennial Georgia Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams. The Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden administration awarded Power Forward Communities the grant in April 2024 as part of the agency's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant despite the fact that it was founded months earlier in late 2023 and never managed anywhere near the grant's dollar figure--it reported just $100 in total revenue during its first three months in operation, according to its latest tax filings. Power Forward Communities' grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government's oversight of the program. The revelation that Power Forward Communities is among the beneficiaries of the funds Zeldin's team located raises ethics questions about how the Biden administration selected recipients of such massive grants and whether it played favorites when doling those grants out. Abrams was a vocal proponent of the Biden administration's green energy agenda and campaigned for former vice president Kamala Harris.
... Power Forward Communities and Abrams did not respond to requests for comment.Um, the moment you took $2 billion in taxpayer funding you gave up your right to refuse comment, Obese Grifter Whore.
Yeah I'll bet you were thrilled. Oh, remember when the media told you Biden wasn't scheming to get rid of gas stoves? He funded this grifter group to get rid of gas stoves.
Power Forward Communities was established in October 2023 as a coalition of groups led by Rewiring America, a left-wing group that advocates for electrification policies and a transition away from fossil fuel dependence. Abrams, who serves as Rewiring America's senior counsel, said at the time that she was "thrilled" to be part of the Power Forward Communities coalition.
Ben Domenech pointed out that this group was given $2 billion to "install solar panels and heat pumps," despite a history of literally never having installed a single solar panel or heat pump, ever. Other groups making up this coalition were also, get this, founded by Abrams.
According to its website, Power Forward Communities is the first nationwide program to finance home energy efficiency upgrades at scale. The group states that its mission is to assist homeowners, developers, and renters with home upgrades replacing gas-powered appliances like a traditional stovetop with electric appliances like an induction stovetop. In its only press release to date, Power Forward Communities said that, in addition to induction stoves, it would use the $2 billion received from the EPA to help install heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, solar panels, home battery systems, EV chargers, and weatherization upgrades. "For an organization that has no experience in this, that was literally just established, and had $100 in the bank to receive a $2 billion grant--it doesn't just fly in the face of common sense, it's out and out fraud," Daniel Turner, the executive director of energy advocacy group Power the Future, alleged in an interview with the Free Beacon.
How many different ways do you think she's dipping her fat beak? Another part of the coalition is funded by George Soros. And its partners include American Federation of Teachers! And they seem to have taken that $2 billion and put it straight into the purpose it was always designed for: Running ads for the Democrat Party paid for by the taxpayers they rob and rape.
Power Forward Communities lists a large number of partners on its website that it works with to implement its mission. Among its partners are the Southern Economic Advancement Project and Fair Count, two left-wing nonprofits founded by Abrams in the wake of her 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election defeat.
Happy Thursday. We're almost there! Update: I forgot -- Biden sent $2 billion to an election-denying insurrectionist.
American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten and Abrams both serve on the national advisory board for Climate Power, which helped launch a $55 million advertising campaign in September in support of Kamala Harris's presidential campaign.

Former NATO Deputy Supreme Commander General Sir Richard Shirreff warned this week that the U.S. and European leaders are asleep at the wheel when it comes to confronting Russia in Ukraine.
Shirreff told the BBC that he believes that remarks made by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Saudi Arabia were “Cloud Cuckoo Land.” “I think that it shows a failure to understand what Russia is about,” he said. “What Russia is about is removing Ukraine from the map as a sovereign state, incorporating Ukraine, either physically annexing it in terms of the Eastern and Southern regions of Ukraine, or installing a puppet government in Kiev so that Ukraine becomes a sort of client state, rather like Belarus.” He said that any negotiator who believes that Russia will accept peace terms that Ukraine is comfortable with “is deluding themselves. ”Shirreff said that President Donald Trump’s intense criticism of Ukraine and its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, means that “Pax Americana is finished.”
I have an idea for this dickhead: Go conscript every European male you can find (Not many left of Caucasian stock due to crashing birthrates among the native populations. Of course there are plenty of Muslim male replacements. Yeah, they'll be conscripted! and send them off to fight the Red Army. Closer to home the Hawaiian judges continue to invoke Marbury Kaliki-MAGA to block Donald Trump's constitutional and holy crusade against the Bureaucratic Deep State, which makes this Tanya Chutkan's ruling in his favor surprising to say the least, considering she was among his biggest inquisitors in the J6 she trials. AS EPA CHIEF Lee Zeldin WAS ABLE TO CLAW BACK BILLIONs FROM THE SANDWORM-LIKE Maw of Stacey Tank Abrams' Green scammers, I see that some shit-whore DOJ prosecutor has resigned rather than do her job of prosecuting a $20 billion Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants climate scam. However we can fumigate the government of these vermin, whether of their own accord or by mass firings, it's all fine. And with Trump cutting off money to illegal alien invaders, now is the time to tax remittances out the wahzoo. And of course all the Left can do is rage, and engage in acts of random or not so random violence like shooting up a Tesla dealership.
They are not going to go quietly into the wilderness if that is indeed where they are heading.
Leftist echo chamber Reddit is embracing the French revolution in an attempt to resist President Donald Trump. The platform notorious for its censorship of conservatives is allowing posts calling for violent political revolution in the style of the French “Reign of Terror” to spread virally in the early weeks of the Trump administration. “They want 1939 Germany, let’s give them 1789 France” is popping up all over the platform, with “1789 France” spiking in Google searches and on X Radar, a feature on X that lets users monitor keywords and track conversations.

Top Story
- Nvidia's RTX 5070 Ti is here and I've found my next video card. (Techspot)
Though those two items are not related. Or more precisely, they are inversely related.
Not that the 5070 Ti is a bad card, certain items ignored. It is fast, it has plenty of VRAM for almost anything at 16GB, and it, uh, mostly works.
The problem is the price. It was announced with a price of $750, and officially that is still the price. The problem is there is no official card. There was even a drama when Nvidia shipped a particular Asus card to reviewers, stating that it was an official launch card priced at $750, when Asus sent the exact same card to other reviewers, saying that it was not an official launch card and was priced at $900.
That appears to have ended with Nvidia either bribing or coercing Asus into selling the card at $750, which simply means that it won't exist.
But that's going to be true of all 5070 Ti cards, just as it is with the 5090 and 5080 a month after their launch.
If you can find one at MSRP, expect to pay $900 to $1000. Which, yes, is nominally the same price as the 5080. But the 5080 will actually set you back over $2000 right now if you can even find one. And the 5070 Ti has the same GPU chip just with some shaders disabled, and the same RAM, so... I'm sure you can figure it out.
Meanwhile in Australia there are only a handful of listings up but they're in the A$1900 to A$2000 range.
What I actually bought - just this morning - was an AMD Radeon 7800 XT. It's also a 16GB card, and while the new 5070 Ti is 50% faster while using only 20% more power, the Radeon cost me A$729 - about US$400 plus tax - making the 5070 Ti 150% more expensive.
Do I care that the 5070 Ti can run Counter Strike at 332fps instead of 257fps on the 7800 XT? A lot less than I care about the $1200 that will pay for the rest of my computer.
Oh, and if you're playing an older 32-bit game using PhysX, it could run at about a quarter speed because Nvidia cards just don't support that anymore.
So, no. Hell no. I decided it was time to stop waiting before every reasonably-priced card disappeared from the market entirely.
Ordered that 7800 XT and a 7900 (non-x) CPU. Still need a motherboard and some DDR5 RAM, but those aren't in a price/availability death spiral right now.

Meghan Markle is trying to brand herself as a tradwife influencer or something.
Some of you may have heard whispers about what I've been creating. In two weeks, my series on @netflix launches -- but there's something else I've been working on. I'm thrilled to introduce you to As Ever -- a brand that I created and have poured my heart into. 'As ever' means 'as it's always been' or some even say 'in the same way as always'. If you've followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you'll know this couldn't be truer for me. This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish -- food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday. I will keep sharing behind the scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can't wait for you to get your hands on everything we've been creating. Sending lots of love...Absolutely, when I think about Prince-Hunting Golddigger Meghan Markle, I always think about her "love language" of the "everyday," simple pleasures of life. PJ Media's Sarah Anderson:
Over the last six or seven years, Meghan Markle's attempts at selling anything substantial have failed almost every time. Her fake podcasting career was short-lived. With the exception of a "documentary" designed to mock her husband's family, the one that most people seemingly only viewed to hate-watch, she has yet to make much of anything out of her huge Netflix contract. And in 2024, she launched a "lifestyle brand" with the pretentious "American Riviera Orchard" name. As best I can tell, the only thing that ever came from it was that she sent some strawberry jams to celebrities. ... "'As Ever' essentially means 'as it always been,'" she says with a giggle, adding, "And if you followed me since 2014... you know I've always loved cooking and craft and gardening. This is what I do. And I haven't been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can... Of course, there will be fruit preserves. I think we're all clear at this point that jam is my jam. But there are so many more products that I just love that I use in my home, and it's now it's time to share it with you." And I think that's the problem. It's still not exactly clear what kind of products Megs will sell at this point -- besides jam, apparently -- and that's because ultimately, no matter what she does, her product ends up being herself. Meghan thinks she's likable and talented enough to become some sort of big media personality based on her Meghan Markle-ness alone. She keeps throwing new ideas against the wall and hoping they stick. At the moment, she fancies herself the next Martha Stewart, but all she'll ever be to most people is the next Wallis Simpson.I don't know what these two talentless nobodies are going to do for money. I know they have some now, but they're only in their 30s. How are they going to provide for themselves for the next 40-60 years? A Spanish town is accusing Little Miss Love Language of stealing their town logo.
Civic bosses in the Mallorca village of Porreres reportedly claimed that Markle copied the town's traditional coat of arms by including a single palm tree with two hummingbirds hovering on either side of it on her As Ever logo. Mayor Xisca Mora told local newspaper Ara Balears that the similarities between the coat of arms and the logo are "surreal." She also claimed that the town hall is considering whether or not to take legal action against the duchess. "I don't know if she visited some agritourism sites and saw the coat of arms, because the photo on her website is taken from Mallorca," said Mora.It is the same design. I don't know if you can copyright a town's coat of arms, though. Seems unlikely. Speaking of rebranding: The defense industry is scrambling to hide/"rebrand" its illegal, discriminatory embrace of DEI.
A month ahead of the #NatSecGirlSquad conference in March, organizer Maggie Feldman-Piltch is facing a problem that has been unprecedented in her 10 years of putting on the event. In the wake of President Donald Trump's Jan. 21 executive order, which directs federal contractors to roll back diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices, there has been radio silence from defense companies who previously bought exhibit space, underwrote meals and otherwise sponsored the conference. "Nobody," she said, "is returning emails." It's just one example of how, in the wake of Trump's executive order, defense contractors are beating a hasty retreat from their previous commitments to DEI initiatives and reshaping their public-facing images to fit the administration's vision -- spelled out in felt-tip pen by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in his first memo to the Pentagon, that "DoD ≠ DEI." Major defense primes are scrubbing their websites to remove references to DEI, including pulling down content associated with minority employees or celebrations like Black History Month. Breaking Defense found that large defense companies like BAE Systems, General Dynamics, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and RTX have clumsily removed webpages associated with previous DEI initiatives, which still appear in search engine results but redirect to dead links. One industry official, who Breaking Defense granted anonymity to discuss sensitive internal matters, said that defense companies are struggling to understand exactly which activities fall under the umbrella of "illegal DEI." A company maintaining a DEI department or employing officials hired solely to enact DEI practices would likely run afoul of the executive order, but other longstanding practices aimed at recruiting talent and fostering professional development of employees reside in a gray area, where it will be up to companies to determine how much risk to take, the official said.A lot of this is just fake posturing to make it harder to prove lawsuits -- right now they're providing the evidence for their invidious discrimination. So they're just scrubbing their official communications so as to not admit invidious discrimination, while intending to continue doing it. I saw an article about a Michigan school which changed the title of its DEI department to "Community Engagement" or something to pretend to comply with Trump's ban on schools receiving federal funding if they practice DEI. We're going to see a lot of simple name changes.

Why Trump is targeting the AP: It's because the AP's highly-politicized "stylebook" is the leftwing media's dictionary for Orwellian redefinitions of common words for propaganda purposes. If they routinely redefine words to support Democrat policies, then they can do the same service for Trump, huh?
The big picture: By spotlighting AP, Trump is amplifying Republican and conservative criticisms that the AP Stylebook, a first reference for most U.S. news organizations, shapes political dialogue by favoring liberal words and phrases concerning gender, immigration, race and law enforcement. "This isn't just about the Gulf of America," White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich told Axios. "This is about AP weaponizing language through their stylebook to push a partisan worldview in contrast with the traditional and deeply held beliefs of many Americans and many people around the world." The dispute with AP is part of Trump's broader effort to discredit legacy media outlets and the public's trust in the press -- already at a record low.By the way, Trump's "attack" on the AP is as minor and small-ball as it gets. The AP can still come to the White House briefing room. The big "attack" the media is shrieking about is that... the AP will no longer have a priviliged place on Air Force One. They can still ride on Air Force One, but ont up front. They'll have to sit in the back with the plebes. The entitlement!
While the media has pushed the completely-false and completely-debunked claim that transgenders are targeted for violent crimes more than other groups -- in fact, they are targeted less frequently -- they simultaneously continue to suppress stories about the real-life verified trend of trans people committing murders.
State of play: After barring AP reporters from covering several events with Trump last week, the White House said Friday that because the wire service "continues to ignore the lawful geographic name change of the Gulf of America," AP slots in the Oval Office on Air Force One "will now be opened up" to other reporters. An AP reporter and photographer were blocked Friday from boarding Air Force One for Trump's weekend trip to Florida. The White House said AP journalists "will retain their credentials to the White House complex."
You might wonder why this trend of trans people committing murders could be caused by trans people already suffering from mental illness, and you might wonder if that mental illness is worsened by the injection of experimental exogenous hormones. But there's already a scientific answer to that question: Shut up, racist. The Lancet published the finding that you're all racists and must not question The Science (TM). New York City introduced a "congestion pricing" scheme to charge people $15 just to drive in central NYC during the day. This scheme is called, probably accurately, a plan to keep middle-class drivers off the road so that rich drivers aren't slowed in traffic. Due to public protest, Nurse Kathy Hochul paused the plan, and then came back with a new plan -- they'd only charge the plebes $9 just to enter NYC. That's per-visit, not per month or something. She actually tried to sell reducing this not-yet-implemented per-trip tax from $15 to $9 as saving New Yorkers money! So if a mugger takes your wallet but then gives you your subway pass back, he's saved you that money, you see. This plan required the approval of the US Department of Transportation. I assume this is so because federal highways run through NYC. Biden's super-competent Secretary of Transportation -- Pete Bootyjudge -- approved the scheme. Sean Duffy just rescinded that approval.
Authorities arrested a trans-identified double homicide suspect on Sunday, who has been accused of allegedly killing two female victims in New York. Alan "Alina" Abad, 19, of Westwood, New Jersey, was booked into the Rockland County Jail without bail. The killings are believed to have occurred inside an apartment unit located in Spring Valley, police said. Spring Valley Police Chief Richard Oleszczuk said that officers discovered the victims around 8:30 pm on February 15 while conducting a welfare check. One victim was found dead at the scene, while the other victim was transported to a local hospital and later died from injuries. Authorities reported that the two victims sustained severe head injuries. Abad was arrested the following day, February 16, and was booked into jail on first-degree murder charges. The suspect is a biological male who identifies as female. According to investigators, Abad uploaded several videos to TikTok of himself dancing outside just hours before the gruesome murders. Police said the killings are believed to be isolated incidents and that the suspect and victims knew each other. It's unclear if the video was taken outside of the apartment complex.

@nicksortor Gov. Kathy Hochul is throwing a FIT that President Trump just axed New York's congestion pricing, saying it will result in budgetary issues. How about cancelling the $12 BILLION you're spending on illegals if you're worried about the budget, Kathy? That'd be a fantastic start!

Republicans are at -12, with 40% approving, 52% disapproving. I'm part of the disapproving group. They're useless and pro-Democrat.
The only reason they're voting for Trump's nominees is fear of Trump and Musk coming after them:GOP senators are terrified over the prospect of facing primary challengers funded by Elon Musk if they stick their necks out by opposing President Trump's agenda. The White House has signaled that Republicans who thwart Trump's agenda by voting against his controversial nominees or opposing efforts by Musk to freeze government funding and slash federal agencies, such as the U.S. Agency for International Development, will pay a political price. And that's a threat that carries a lot more weight when Musk, the world's richest person, could easily pour tens of millions of dollars into a Senate Republican primary. Musk warned Republican lawmakers in December that he was compiling a "naughty list" of members who buck Trump's agenda. He also pledged shortly after Election Day that his political action committee would "play a significant role in primaries" next year. At the time, the threat was seen as mostly aimed at rebellious House conservatives who loomed as an obstacle to reelecting Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and threatened to derail Trump's tax agenda by insisting on major spending cuts. But Republican senators have taken Musk's warning to heart. The same thing is going on with Democrats. Not only do Republicans hate Democrat congressgrifters, but Democrats hate them for their ineffectualness and frequent descents into self-parody. 22% approve of Charles Schumer and the Democrat Gang of Idiots and Grifters, while an enormous super-majority of 68% disapprove. Let's have the midterms next week! Frank Luntz had more bad news for the left and the media (BIRM): In his focus group of literal swing voters -- voters who flipped from Democrat to Trump -- they "love" what Trump and Musk are doing.
CNN anchor Brianna Keilar noted on "CNN News Central" that Luntz runs numerous focus groups and that he has been talking to "a number of voters who were Hillary Clinton 2016, Joe Biden 2020 and then went for Trump in 2024." When Keilar asked how these voters perceive Trump's second term so far, Luntz responded, "pretty well," emphasizing their appreciation for decisive action in Washington. "They're reacting to it because they love the pace of change. They were very fed up over the last four years. They wanted action. They wanted results. They looked at prices. They looked at affordability. They looked at immigration. And they didn't see anything happening," Luntz said. "They still don't like what he says, but they like what he does. And these are Democrats now who felt that they were not securing the border. They were doing nothing to prevent illegal immigration, that nothing was actually happening." Trump immediately took action after being sworn in to his second term on Jan. 20, signing over 200 executive actions within 12 hours, addressing issues ranging from the border crisis to the economy. "They wanted to see a reduction in wasteful Washington spending. And they're seeing that. So what they tell me is, 'I wish he would be a little bit less rude,' but at the same time, they like what he's doing," Luntz continued. "They believe he's serious about it. And for the first time, they have confidence in the future, which is why you now see some significant shifts in the polling about the expectations for the direction in the coming years."

[A]t a time when in much of corporate America, competence has been forced to give way to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the post-crash jokes practically wrote themselves. "So they basically just hit the curb?" joked radio host and former GOP congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik. I shouldn't have laughed, but I did. "Still no word on the pilots or number of hours [the pilots] had, which happened within 24 hours of the Reagan National crash," John Monahan posted. "Things that make you go hmm." The experts I've read online and talked to offline are in something close to 100% agreement that the crash was due to pilot error.I saw a pilot on Megyn Kelly say that the recommended rate of descent is 400-500 feet per second, whereas Girlboss Airlines came plummeting down at 1,000 feet per second. They bragged about their all-female flight crews while playing a line from a song by noted terrorist propagandist MIA, chanting the line "Live fast, die young."
