Federal prosecutors have charged an ICE officer with lying to investigators about his shooting of a Venezuelan migrant in Minneapolis earlier this year, according to reports. Christian Castro, 52, is charged with lying to federal agents about the January encounter in which he shot Julio Sosa-Celis in the leg. Making false statements to federal agents carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison, according to The Washington Post. The federal charges come after Castro’s release from custody in Texas, where he had been arrested on Minnesota charges stemming from the shooting. His federal charges remain sealed, and he has not yet been taken into federal custody, according to the Post. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said during a May news conference that Castro fired toward a north Minneapolis home “with the intent to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death to the four adults who were just inside the door.” The bullet struck Sosa-Celis in the leg before traveling through a closet and into the wall of a child’s bedroom, according to prosecutors.Lest we forget that Minneapolis was the epicenter of the 2020 Summer of mostly peaceful rioting in the wake of the death of George Floyd who died while resisting arrest after ingesting his stash of narcotics to avoid a potential third strike and a long stretch in prison. It also resulted in the railroading of arresting officer Derek Chauvin who, at least in this instance was merely doing his duty as the suppressed and distorted coroner's report clearly indicated. But the racialist grievance monger Democrat-Leftists demanded their scapegoat and they got it. That's why this whole thing with Officer Castro just completely reeks of the same kind of grandstanding as well as attempting to hold Texas and indeed the nation hostage just as the crucial midterm elections are heating up. Hold those thoughts for a moment as we go from the border war skirmish between Minnesota and Texas all the way to of all places Connecticut for another twist on this whole issue which really is or has the potential to lead to societal dissolution. The city council for Democrat-run Danbury, Connecticut, voted to allow non-citizen migrants to serve as city police officers. The vote was taken in retaliation after federal immigration forces had recently conducted raids in the town... He added, “It’s legal. It’s allowed. It’s been recommended. … I do think it’s timely, and this vote sends a message to our immigrant community that you are welcome in Danbury.” The town’s Mayor, Roberto Alves, heartily supported the policy change and noted that he was an illegal alien when he first came to the U.S. Alves blasted ICE late last month after immigration officers spent several days conducting enforcement actions in the city. And he accused ICE of sowing fear and making local businesses a “ghost town” in the wake of the raids. This abject mutt piece of shit and everyone who thinks and acts like him is the reason our country is a red-nether hair's width from turning into a third world shithole banana republic. The denigration and disrespect for the rule of law as a result of the continued denigration of America, its history heritage and founding as illegitimate, racist and repressive against colored people of color. And so, with the actions of our phenomenal President in doing all he can to restore our borders as well as institute sane immigration policies that exclude scumbags and cancerous tumors like this degenerate mayor, naturally we're going to get the reactions we are seeing as illustrated by Danbury and every other Leftwing shithole city and state in the nation to disobey and demonize the rule of law. Obviously, a massive influx of illegal alien third-world indigents benefits first and foremost the Democrat Left. The race for control of the US Senate is a dead heat.Conventional wisdom suggests the contests in swingy states like Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia could prove decisive — and they might. But it’s possible that the fate of the chamber known as the “world’s greatest deliberative body” will come down to a state not usually considered all that swingy: Texas. I lived in Texas in 2018, when Lone Star Democrats similarly felt confident that then-Rep. Beto O’Rourke would defeat the incumbent GOP senator, Ted Cruz. That didn’t happen: In a similar tough midterm cycle during a Trump presidency, Cruz narrowly prevailed. But what if this time is different? Talarico might not win — in fact, I don’t think he will — but it’s crucial for Republicans to understand how to prevent a leftist, “Christian”-cosplaying caricature like James “the Annunciation justifies abortion” Talarico from getting a job promotion to Washington. Many polls in Texas tell a similar story: Paxton suffers from softer support within the GOP, whereas Democrats are more unified in their support for the joker who has called capitalism “oppressive,” predicted the oil and gas industry is “not gonna last,” and has called for Americans to pare back “meat consumption.” Yes, that’s right — the guy taking a sledgehammer to the oil and gas and cattle industries is seeking statewide office in Texas. The other thing that's different is despite the President's incredible success in rounding up and deporting the wetbacks is that they've had a many years headstart in invading Texas which is a major border state and miraculously has still managed to remain controlled by the GOP lo these many election cycles. Does James Puertorico really have a shot? Only if GOP voters just assume he doesn't and just stay home, owing also to what I perceive as a kind of lukewarm support for Ken Paxton. But there is some encouraging news here and across the nation in general that I'll leave you with. Despite the nonstop propaganda in the media, the HarrisX poll reflects a very different political reality among Americans. 10 out of 13 key Trump policy positions continue to see majority support. His most popular policies are lowering prescription drug prices (84% support), deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes (74%), and requiring proof of citizenship to vote (70%). Trump’s least popular policy positions include placing a 15% tariff on imports from all countries (40%), allowing immigration authorities to access information on low-income families (48%), and eliminating mail-in voting (50%).. . 10 out of 13 key Trump policy positions continue to see majority support. His most popular policies are lowering prescription drug prices (84% support), deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes (74%), and requiring proof of citizenship to vote (70%)... Based on media coverage, you would think the majority of the country has turned against immigration enforcement. Despite the torrent of lies, that’s not the case.Obviously all of us have to show up to vote to overcome the kind of fraud we know the Democrats are going to pull, perhaps not successfully in Texas but for sure in Michigan where they got away with it before and elsewhere where they control the election process via the Secretary of State and Governor, as well as the courts. And on that note, I give you full on revolution, or what should be! This may be the first time a court has thrown out a congressional map after the primaries already were held using those maps. That would require a general election in different districts than the primaries. That is what the Missouri Supreme Court just did. The Attorney General vows to go to SCOTUS: Never before in American history has a court overturned a congressional map after a primary and before a general election. This unprecedented decision clearly violates federal law and has thrust our state into a full‑fledged constitutional crisis. And so with all this plus all the other insanity in the linkapalooza, I bid you all to have a great, safe and relaxing Labor Day holiday weekend.

One night, Bill Clinton was awakened by George Washington's ghost in the White House. Clinton saw him and asked, "George, what is the best thing I could do to help the country?" "Set an honest and honorable example, just as I did," advised George. The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moved through the dark bedroom. "Tom, what is the best thing I could do to help the country?" Clinton asked. "Cut taxes and reduce the size of government," advised Tom. Clinton didn't sleep well the next night, and saw another figure moving in the shadows. It was Abraham Lincoln's ghost. "Abe, what is the best thing I could do to help the country?" Clinton asked. Why Opposition to Data Centers Is Perplexing
-- As an admitted lofo on data centers, I should be paying more attention to the pros and cons. But my visceral first reaction is negative simply because I've got such a low trust in anything that sounds like it has the propensity to track or invade my privacy. These data centers may have nothing to do with that at all. But I have such little trust in these behemoth sectors that it makes me automatically recoil. Not fair or informed, I know. The Trump administration has launched a direct federal challenge against Connecticut, filing a Department of Justice lawsuit over state policies that grant in-state tuition and financial assistance to eligible immigrant students. In response, Attorney General William Tong issued a fiery rebuke, declaring that federal authorities have no business dictating how local schools and colleges are run. Having originally fought for the tuition equity legislation as a state lawmaker, Tong vowed to defend Connecticut families against what he termed a cruel and intrusive attack. As the legal battle unfolds in federal court, state leaders are standing their ground, signaling that Washington has no authority to override local educational access.

I think part of the problem with society can be attributed to the judiciary. Their drift left and alignment with leftist ideology is a major concern.
They not only side with the left in most cases, they're also responsible for upholding, or rejecting current and newly (legally) legislated laws. They have no issues with taking away your rights, but certainly don't want to curtail the government's and those who work for, or in it. The issues with the judiciary's actions on illegals is just a symptom of a much larger issue. Posted by: Martini Farmer at September 04, 2026 08:17 AM (2Cry5) 68

Virginia Mom Gets 6-Month Suspended Jail Sentence for Letting 5-Year-Old Walk to the Pond
Mom, 8 months pregnant, takes a little bike ride with her son, 5, in their gated community. Back home he asks if he can go out again, on foot, to get some more feathers from the grass near the goose pond. She says sure. He knows his way around, and she has watched him cross the quiet streets safely a hundred times. But then, someone sees the boy unsupervised and calls security. Pretty soon there are three cop cars at Karyann's door, and two caseworkers. The caseworkers put her on the child abuse and neglect registry (for 7 years). The cops charge her with "Contributing to the delinquency of a minor," and a judge finds her guilty. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said during a May news conference that Castro fired toward a north Minneapolis home “with the intent to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death to the four adults who were just inside the door.” The bullet struck Sosa-Celis in the leg before traveling through a closet and into the wall of a child’s bedroom, according to prosecutors.
He was just doing what Joe Biden said to do. Shoot through the door. I'd like to hear Castro's side of the story because I have a hard time believing that he just randomly fired at a door haphazardly....... Posted by: Sponge - F*ck Cancer at September 04, 2026 08:24 AM (ccf/V) 80

Black Supremist Jemele Hill @jemelehill
America was built on the institution of slavery. It is how America became a world economic power — the buying and selling of people being tied to the economy. That is effectively white supremacy, since it was a race-based system. Fast forward to other economic policies that were guided by race — housing, employment, etc. There were rules that prevented Black people from equally participating in the free economy. In fact, one of the most glaring features of American capitalism is racial inequality. The racial wealth gap exists because specific policies were put in place to suppress economic participation. So yes, capitalism is tied to white supremacy. Posted by: SMOD at September 04, 2026 08:31 AM (RHGPo) 94

The no-good brother-in-law, once lent money, will always come back for more; a Western world in upheaval will reliably savage the Jews; and communism, promulgated by the intellectually arrogant, will always appeal to the bored wealthy. They will use their money to inform their pets, the working class, of its grievances, and ride the wave to their moment of hegemony, when observant thugs will liquidate them. . . I don’t know if the United States will survive in a form recognizable to my generation. I can’t even describe the current form other than as a civilization split into two factions, one decrying and the other exploiting chaos. I wish you well, free from us awful white Americans allegedly keeping you down. Posted by: Lizzy at September 04, 2026 09:01 AM (rOKnE) 164

American politics was once about building majority coalitions, and the Ds had the advantage.
Nixon and Reagan broke through in 1968 and 1980 because LBJ and Carter had fumbled so badly. The Ds moved so far Left that they're only a minority coalition at the national level. Hence the need to Cheat to retain Power. Posted by: Ignoramus at September 04, 2026 09:04 AM (dtajH) 170

They won't be used to catch Janiqull and his crew of burglars.
But it will send a ticket to Gladys for rolling through a stop sign in an empty intersection. This describes law enforcement in most parts of the US to a "T". Janiqull and Shameeka don't have no money to pay but Gladys will use her debit card, plus she won't act a fool and bust a cap in the PoPo's ass when she gets her ticket. Only God knows what will happen in a few short months, and it will be His will that dictates it.
You know, that God you and your party have abandoned for a life that is antithetical to human existence. So we will indeed get a good look at an agenda rife with things life baby murder, the anarchy of islam, years of fraud, theft of wealth, trampling our Bill of Rights, corrupting out courts and shaping legislatures to trample the people’s will, rather than serve it. All couch up in socialism and Marxism. Will that sell? Only if the obvious corruption of our electoral system wins. >> What, then, shall we say in response to these things? 128 >>America was built on the institution of slavery. It is how America became a world economic power
One of the dumbest things that has been accepted by many as gospel. One of the major reasons the north beat the south in the civil war was because the north was more industrialized and resource rich despite the south being the location of the vast majority of slave labor. If slavery makes a place rich why wasn't the south able to at least match the north in economic resources? Posted by: JackStraw at September 04, 2026 08:44 AM (viF8m) The Leftists employ this counter-argument: Owners of Northern fabric mills and clothing manufacturers became filthy rich using cheap slave-picked cotton from the Slave States! The Northern slave-product exploiters spent and invested their huge amounts of slave-produced money to build-up everything in the North! Reee! Slavery paid for everything in the North, you slave-apologist! REEE! Posted by: Gref at September 04, 2026 09:13 AM (5rh/l) 192
