- Apple's iPhone 16 is one more than the iPhone 15. (Ars Technica)
One more button.
After taking the buttons away, Apple put one back.
- I've ordered the Calliope Mori and Amelia Watson Hyte Y40 Hololive Limited Edition cases that I've been chasing for the past year.
Hyte now offers international shipping... By air. Which for something as large and heavy as a PC case costs as much as the case itself.
And these are already expensive enough.
The local distributor - there is only one supplier of Hyte cases in Australia - finally has them listed. Price is a straight conversion from USD to AUD (and since that includes sales tax that makes them slightly cheaper), and the shipping cost is about 10% of what Hyte wanted to deliver by UPS.

The Washington Post is changing its previous reporting on Kamala Harris. Previously, she had been a nasty boss who presided over a dysfunctional office with high rates of employee turnover.
Now that she's the candidate, this is re-framed as her "running the office like a prosecutor" and some whiny-pissbaby SWJs couldn't stand the full power of a Stronk Empowered Black/Asian Woman.
REMEMBER WHEN DEMOCRATS (AND EVERYBODY ELSE) THOUGHT KAMALA HARRIS WAS A BAD VICE PRESIDENT? ... [I]t wasn't too long ago that many Democratic insiders, and many in the party in general, considered Harris a failure at the job of vice president. Their unhappiness with Harris, which started with disappointment and evolved into something stronger, spilled into media reports and the general political conversation. There was broad agreement that Harris had just not been a very good pick for the nation's second-highest position. In February 2023, the New York Times published an article titled, "Kamala Harris Is Trying to Define Her Vice Presidency. Even Her Allies Are Tired of Waiting." The headline was generous, given what followed. "The painful reality for Ms. Harris is that in private conversations over the last few months, dozens of Democrats in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and around the nation ... said [Harris] had not risen to the challenge of proving herself as a future leader of the party, much less the country," the New York Times reported. "Even some Democrats whom her own advisers referred reporters to for supportive quotes confided privately that they had lost hope in her." The New York Times went on to note that Harris's vice presidency is notable largely because of her race and gender, as opposed to her accomplishments in office. "She has already made history as the first woman, the first African American and the first Asian American ever to serve as vice president," the paper said, "but she has still struggled to define her role much beyond that legacy." Given all that, the New York Times reported that "a quiet panic" had "set in among key Democrats about what would happen if President Biden opted not to run for a second term." Harris made the situation even worse by retreating to "a bunker" for about a year, the New York Times said, "after her disastrous interview with Lester Holt of NBC News." In November 2021, three months before the New York Times published the "lost hope" piece, CNN published "Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris' frustrating start as vice president." CNN reported that "key West Wing aides" -- meaning people close to Biden -- were "worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus" from Harris. The aides, CNN continued, "have largely thrown up their hands at [Harris] and her staff -- deciding there simply isn't time to deal with them right now." In June 2021, Politico published a story headlined, "'Not a healthy environment': Kamala Harris' office rife with dissent." The vice president's office, the article reported, was an angry and chaotic place. Some blamed her top aides, but other Biden administration officials blamed Harris herself. "People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses, and it's an abusive environment," said one person "with direct knowledge of how Harris's office is run." The person continued: "It's not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It's not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s***." Those are just a few examples, but there were many more, all of which could be summarized by one, brief sentence: Kamala Harris made a mess of the vice presidency.Eastasia has always been a stronk empowered vice president.
Oh: An illegal alien has been charged for illegally voting in US elections. The charge is "violating the physical laws of reality," because the Democrat-Media-Cheney Complex has assured me that no illegal aliens ever vote illegally.
"A nine-count information filed in U.S. District Court charges Angelica Maria Francisco, 42, most recently of Russellville (Arkansas), with false claims of citizenship in connection with voting, false statements in [an] application for a United States passport, use of a United States passport obtained by false statements, and aggravated identity theft," the department announced Thursday. The department also said Francisco used the stolen identity to obtain the passport in 2011 and that a plea agreement was filed indicating she has agreed to plead guilty to all of the charges. Under the agreement, Francisco admits she "assumed the identity of a United States citizen in or around 2011." Using the stolen identity, she also registered to vote in Alabama in 2016 and voted in the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections, according to the department.
Elise Stefanik wants to investigate "judge" Merchan for a new conflict of interest.
House Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has demanded that a new ethics probe surrounding a potential conflict of interests between Judge Juan Merchan and his daughter Loren Merchan be investigated. The request from GOP Chairwoman Stefanik to investigate Merchan's potential conflict of interest Harris comes as the judge ruled to postpone Trump's sentencing in the NYC falsified business documents case until after the election. According to a letter from Stefanik sent to the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct, Judge Juan Merchan's daughter, who is the president of Authentic Campaigns Inc, may stand to benefit from the fraudulent business documents case involving GOP nominee Donald Trump. ... "Authentic has a newly active financial relationship with Vice President Harris's campaign. President Trump's sentencing, an event which will garner worldwide media coverage, is imminent. This event, a month and a half prior to the November 5 election, could have a profound impact on that election; indeed, some states will have commenced mail voting by that date. Given this revelation of a brand-new conflict of interest for Judge Merchan, I respectfully request that the Commission engage in a fresh inquiry concerning Justice Merchan's conflict and take any appropriate action resulting from it," Stefanik concluded.

This is dishonest and purely tactical. She released a vague statement of what she is claiming her positions are this week so that when she's asked about her positions during the debate, she can just say "I released all my positions on my website, you can read about them there" knowing that Americans, particularly her AWFL camp followers, do not read unless it's on Twitter.
Well that's very informative. She wants more of the Good Things, fewer of the Bad Things. "Now this is a common-sense conservative agenda I can get behind," said David French in a muffled voice because his mouth was filled with a ball-gag.
Vice President Kamala Harris and her team added a policy page to her campaign website while declining to address a number of flip-flops on key issues. Harris' campaign launched its' "issues" tab Monday on its website, more than a month into the vice president's run for the White House. The vice president's policy platform addresses various issues but makes no mention of topics that Harris has flip-flopped on while making frequent mention of President Joe Biden and their administration. "Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are fighting for a New Way Forward that protects our fundamental freedoms, strengthens our democracy, and ensures every person has the opportunity to not just get by, but to get ahead," the issues tab on Harris' campaign website reads.
More running on her falsified bio.
"As a prosecutor, Attorney General, Senator, and now Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris always stood up for the people against predators, scammers, and powerful interests. She promises to be a president for all Americans, a president who unites us around our highest aspirations, and a president who always fights for the American people. From the courthouse to the White House, that has been her life's work," it continues.
Under the issues tab, Harris' campaign lays out the vice president's previously unveiled economic policy on "corporate price gouging." Harris' policy platform also touches on abortion access, civil rights, the border crisis and gun control. The issues tab fails to address the Harris campaign's recent policy reversal on the border wall. According to Axios, the Harris campaign clarified that the vice president is in favor of building a wall after blasting Trump's border wall as "un-American," a "stupid waste of money" and Trump's "medieval vanity project." "As President, she will bring back the bipartisan border security bill and sign it into law. At the same time, she knows that our immigration system is broken and needs comprehensive reform that includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship," the Harris campaign website reads under the "secure our borders and fix our broken immigration system" section. ... Under the "make our communities safer from gun violence and crime" tab, the Harris campaign writes that the vice president would "ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require universal background checks, and support red flag laws." The campaign website makes no mention of her reversal on mandatory federal gun buybacks. The vice president frequently made mention of Biden and the administration, despite reports that the Harris campaign was trying to distance itself from the 81-year-old president.
Matt Margolis:
A quick perusal of the Issues page finds that it is padded with fluff and exaggerations about her backstory and attacks on Trump. "Vice President Harris grew up in a middle-class home as the daughter of a working mom," her economic policy positions section begins. Falsely giving the impression that she was the daughter of a poor single mother who was working a blue-collar job, when in fact she grew up wealthy. Her mother was a biomedical scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and her father was a Marxist economics professor at Stanford University. Back to the policy page, "Trump" comes up 29 times on the policy page. There are also sections on "Trump's Project 2025 Agenda," for each section, even though he has nothing to do with Project 2025. Trump's platform is a solid sixteen pages long, but it mentions Biden (or his administration) just seven times -- typically in reference to a specific policy. ... "As President, she will bring back the bipartisan border security bill and sign it into law," the page says. "At the same time, she knows that our immigration system is broken and needs comprehensive reform that includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship." And there it is! Harris has no intention of deporting the illegals that have come into this country on her watch as Border Czar; she intends to give them a pathway to citizenship.

Let's spare ourselves some grief and just hang the whole family.
"Colt has to pay for what he did, but I'm telling you, he was driven, no question in my mind," Polhamus said. "He was driven by his father to do what he did. That's as plain as I can put it, and I know I'm right. "[Colin Gray] got what he deserved, too," he added of the dad, who was charged with four counts of manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children for being an alleged accessory in the school shooting. Gray gave his troubled son an AR-15-style rifle for Christmas -- the weapon that Colt ended up using in Wednesday's slaughter, authorities have said. "He needs the death penalty," the grandpa said of Gray. The psychopathic extremist sent a "haunting" text to his mom, who immediately called the school's counselor, warning them about the monster she had raised.
Accused Georgia school shooter Colt Gray apologized to his mom before he allegedly killed four people -- prompting her to make a desperate call in a bid to stop the tragedy, according to his grandfather and a report. In an exclusive interview with The Post Saturday, Charles Polhamus said his daughter Marcee Gray was visiting him at his home in Fitzgerald, Georgia, when Colt sent her a haunting text Wednesday morning. "I'm sorry, mom," the message read. That doesn't seem that alarming. Obviously, when you're dealing with a psychopath, such simple sentiments take on a sinister meaning.
"I'm right here," said Barack Hussein Obama.
Marcee, 43, desperately called Apalachee High School and warned a counselor of an "extreme emergency," a relative told The Washington Post. "I was the one that notified the school counselor at the high school. I told them it was an extreme emergency and for them to go immediately and find [my son] to check on him," she told her sister, according to the outlet. After getting Colt's text, Marcee rushed into her car to head to Winder, about three hours away, and heard halfway there that two students and two teachers were killed, Marcee Gray appeared devastated Saturday when she was spotted carrying pillows into her father's home. "It's horrible. It's absolutely horrible," Marcee told The Post, declining to share details about the bloodshed. After Marcee Gray's panicked call, school officials appeared to try and avert the disaster, Gray's sister Annie Brown and another student told The Washington Post. ... The stage for the violence was set long ago, Polhamus said, slamming Colt's dad Colin as "evil" and claiming Colin Gray got Marcee addicted to drugs -- ruining the family. "Collie Gray did this to his family and he will rot in hell for it. That's a fact," Polhamus said outside his home. "He needs the death penalty. He is probably one of the worst narcissists in the world."

Springfield, Ohio, is a town of a mere 60,000 people. The Biden-Harris Administration has filled the town with 15,000 - 20,000 illegal aliens over the past four years. It looks to me like Springfield is a town of the working class. Biden-Harris aren't dumping the teeming myriads of the third world into Martha's Vinyard or into Anderson Cooper's neighborhood. Beege Wellborn:
Springfield is one of those tiny, pretty much nameless, faceless towns dotting the (what's now I-70) industrial corridor that stretched from Pittsburgh through Columbus to Dayton and on to Indianapolis, whose fortunes have ebbed with the flight of industry and commerce from the area. By 2014, Springfield had suffered the largest median income decline of any area in the country, and even as Ohio began to pull itself out of its manufacturing malaise, Springfield did not follow along. The local population dropped below 60,000 residents as the town struggled to survive. Some industries returned to the area, and this is where the "immigration" story begins. It has the city frantically backpedaling on a well-meaning but ultimately powerless "welcoming city" resolution they passed ten years ago as they find themselves at the mercy of loosened regulations regarding Haitians coming across the southern border. It's fun to virtue signal, just like it's fun to run up credit card debt and do piles of cocaine. And then the bills come due. So a town with 60,000 American citizens has now been "saturated," as the mayor calls it, with 15,000-20,000 asylum-seekers from Haiti over just the past three and a half years.
How does that impact a tiny town in Ohio? Well, it seems some of the new "business owners" in town were privy to the feds looking for homes for the "newcomers," and they needed cheap labor, so without further ado, they volunteered Springfield. Only, they didn't tell anyone IN Springfield some new folks were coming. ... A resident told the members to take their suits down to the park and watch the Haitians decimate the ducks and geese there. The Haitians have also been accused of doing that to neighborhood pets. The "diversity is our strength" crowd is making excuses for "asylum-seekers" brazenly flouting our traditions and laws. I'm sure they're claiming the immigrants "don't know" they cant just go hunting in a public park. If I were an immigrant permitted to stay, temporarily, in a country as I waited for them to process my "asylum" claims? You know what, I'd ask about local laws and customs before slaughtering geese on the side of the road. But that's just my White Privilege talking. Look at all of this White Privilege on display, below:

Media Which Denies There Is Any Election Cheating: TRUMP IS THREATENING TO IMPRISON THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE!!!
Which is it? If election cheating is never, or almost never, committed, then Trump will be prosecuting no one, or almost no one.
If election cheating is so widespread that prosecuting it will result in much of the Democrat Party apparatus going to prison -- well, then we need to talk about that, no?President Trump is now proposing two of the largest-ever federal arrests of people living in America, including U.S. citizens, if he's re-elected: Trump, on his Truth Social platform last night, threatened to jail adversaries, including Democratic donors. "WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED" in elections of 2020 or 2024, he wrote, "will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences ... Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials." Trump, asked by TIME magazine in April about his plans for the largest deportation of undocumented immigrants in American history, said he has "no choice": "I don't believe this is sustainable for a country, what's happening to us, with probably 15 million and maybe as many as 20 million by the time Biden's out. Twenty million people, many of them from jails, many of them from prisons, many of them from mental institutions." Why it matters: Trump is saying, with specificity, how he would increase the use of federal power if he returns to the White House. No need to rely on what advisers and allies say -- he says it himself.David Strom comments:
Well I hope so. Unlike the Democrats and MSM folks who are freaking out, I happen to think that jailing people who are trying to destroy our country by cheating during an election should go to jail. Why don't they? ... As for cheating in 2024--if it exists and Trump sics the FBI on the cheaters, I would assume that all right-thinking people would applaud. Only people in favor of cheating wouldn't. And there sure seem to be a lot of such people. Thompson even says that if Trump does this it would be one of the largest federal arrests in our history. He sure seems to think that there are a lot of cheaters out there planning to commit election fraud. He and Trump agree, apparently, that voter fraud is a serious problem because Trump isn't threatening to jail people for NOT cheating, only if they do commit election fraud. It really is striking how triggered the left is by Trump. As the Democrats move heaven and earth to put Trump in jail for bulls**t charges, they darkly warn that he might jail his political enemies.

For anyone who says they don't want poll news: I want the poll news. I've been tearing my hair out for three weeks.
Some decent news, though Trump's one-point lead is obviously inside the margin-of-error.A New York Times/Siena College poll released Sunday shows former President Donald Trump holding a narrow lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race. Trump leads 48% to 47%, moving ahead of Harris, as both candidates prepare for their upcoming debate on Tuesday. Key Details: The poll, conducted from September 3rd-6th, shows Trump leading Harris 48% to 47%, with a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points. 28% of likely voters say they need to know more about Kamala Harris, compared to only 9% for Donald Trump. Trump holds a commanding 13-point lead over Harris on the issue of the economy, while Harris has a 15-point advantage on abortion.Trump has a two-point lead, 48-46, when the third party candidates are included -- which, of course, they should be. Trump released his own analysis of the Times poll, emphasizing his GAINZZZ with young and minority voters.
... The poll highlights a significant challenge for Harris: 28% of likely voters say they need to know more about her policies and positions, while only 9% say the same of Trump. This suggests Harris's performance in the upcoming debate could be critical in shaping opinions, particularly for undecided voters. Trump, meanwhile, continues to be viewed as the candidate who can deliver the change many voters are seeking. More than half of respondents (51%) said Trump represents "major change," compared to just 25% who said the same about Harris. This view may be crucial in a race where 60% of voters are looking for a shift away from the Biden administration. Economic concerns also remain a focal point for voters, with Trump holding a 13-percentage-point lead over Harris on handling the economy. Harris, however, enjoys a 15-point advantage on the issue of abortion, an area where Democratic voters have been energized following recent Supreme Court rulings.
A confidential memo from Trump campaign strategists highlights Donald Trump's 2-point lead over Kamala Harris in the latest New York Times/Siena College poll, crediting Trump's overperformance with minority and young voters. Key Details: Trump leads Harris 48% to 46% in the national poll. Trump is outperforming his 2020 numbers with Black (+5), Hispanic (+10), and young voters (+10). Harris is struggling to maintain Biden's 2020 support, especially among minority and young voters. A confidential memo from Trump campaign strategists, obtained by this publication, offers key insights into the latest New York Times/Siena College poll conducted from September 3-6, 2024. The memo emphasizes that Donald Trump holds a 2-point lead over Kamala Harris, securing 48% of the vote to her 46%, in a direct head-to-head matchup. The memo, which was shared with MxM News, highlights Trump's significant gains among Black, Hispanic, and young voters compared to the 2020 election. Trump has improved his standing with Black voters by 5 points and Hispanic voters by 10 points, while Harris is underperforming Joe Biden's 2020 numbers with these key demographics. Among young voters aged 18-29, Trump is trailing Harris by just 1 point (46% to 47%), a major improvement from his 2020 showing in this group. It's not just one poll. Duane Patterson notes that Harris is fading in many polls, losing about a tenth of a point in her national lead every few days.
Real Clear Politics, in their average of averages between Trump and Harris, showed the Vice President with her biggest lead from August 31-September 2, a 1.9% margin. It's been slipping a tenth of a point every couple days since as each new poll is released. It currently stands at 1.4% nationally for Harris, but the movement in the battleground states is where she's really running into trouble. The RCP battleground average shows Harris retreating from her high water mark of a 0.5% lead on August 29. It now stands at 0.1%. It's not any one poll that is key. It's the trend of all of them. Nate Silver's probability index reflects the polling large and small, and calculates that Donald Trump currently enjoys his biggest percent chance of winning the election in November than he has since late July when Joe Biden was his Democratic opponent.Let's hope Trump does okay at the debate.

Rather than choosing the typical Ford, Dodge, or Chevy cars DPD typically purchases, they have made the decision to invest in 4 new Tesla Model Y vehicles. These vehicles arrived on Friday, Aug. 23, and will be in full operation before the end of December 2024. The Tesla Model Y vehicles are a part of the city’s electric vehicle pilot program and are expected to help reduce costs for both the Police Department and the community. In addition, the vehicles are expected to reduce environmental impacts.Mr. Kraut does not live in Douglas, but he lives in another nearby town that was hit hard by Hurricane Michael, which was still a Category 1 hurricane when it passed through in October 2018. The absurdity of using an electric vehicle as a police cruiser goes way beyond storm-related power outages, and Mr. Kraut covers those issues well. Here is what he wrote:
• Who doesn’t have time to charge their car if there is an emergency – Police
• Who responds when there is a disaster in the community, most of the time involving severe weather down in these parts – Police
• What happens during periods of severe weather – the power is lost
• What can’t be charged without power – EV
To demonstrate the absurdity of EVs as first responders, Hurricane Michael hit our town as a Cat 1. We were without power for 5 days and friends of ours were 7-10 days. Below is a map of Michael’s path showing the county in question. While they [the town of Douglas] did not get hit directly, they are close enough to the Atlantic and the Gulf that odds are, at the least, a tropical storm will hit that area, impacting power supply for days.

Get ready for this story to drop out of the headlines like a rock. New reports indicate that messages from an account on Discord, a private group messaging platform, that's been linked to the 14-year-old Apalachee High School shooter expressed frustration at the lack of acceptance of transgender people in society. CNN reports: Authorities searching the home of the 14-year-old accused of killing four people at a Georgia high school this week found documents that they believe he wrote referencing past school shootings, a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told CNN. CNN adds, "The account referenced Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter, and in separate posts shared a desire to target an elementary school and expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people." While CNN did their best to vague up exactly where the account user stood on the trans issue, the Post Millennial points out that a transcript of a conversation between the shooter's father, Colin Gray, and investigators from back in 2023 shows Gray claimed his son was being bullied at school for being "queer." That interview was conducted as part of an investigation into threatening posts the shooter had reportedly made on social media, which landed him on the FBI's radar.Bullied for being "queer." Funny how that is a crime against humanity. Yet there is not one single syllable uttered here in sympathy for those the shooter slaughtered. I don't seem to recall any condemnation of Audrey Hale for mowing down children at a Christian school in Memphis last year. After all, She/He/It was the true victim. And then there's this story:
The New York Joint Terrorism Task Force of the FBI, working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), apprehended terror suspect Mohammed Khan for planning a terror attack in Brooklyn, New York City. FBI's undercover investigators communicated with Khan via encrypted message apps and learned that he planned a mass shooting at an undisclosed Jewish center in Brooklyn. Khan planned the attack to take place on or near October 7, the anniversary of Hamas' brutal attack on mostly unarmed Israeli civilians, which resulted in an unknown number of rapes, roughly 1,200 deaths, and many hostages.God-forbid had this happened, and considering we have no more border and no immigration control, let alone competence and sanity that actually recognizes the threat that Islam poses to free and open societies, it could and sadly likely will happen somewhere in the USA as it is happening all across Europe and of course in Israel. But of course, Israel like its main supporter (the USA prior to the coming of Obama/Biden) is an illegitimate, colonizer, racist state, so "by any means necessary" as the saying goes. Which is why this vomitus occurs:
A group of Hollywood celebrities — including Disney-Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, HBO’s Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon, and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali — is claiming that arms exports to Israel are “illegal” as part of their latest push for a ceasefire in Gaza. The stars co-signed a new call to action from the group Artists for Ceasefire that alleges that the shipment of arms to Israel violates U.S. and international law because Israel engages in what it called “grave human rights violations.”I'll wait while anyone finds a statement from any of these human garbage condemning the mass rape of Jewish women and or the roasting alive of infants in front of their parents on 10/7, let alone the murder of Hersh Goldberg-Polin or any of the other hostages. since that date. Even in Los Angeles or NYC where these individuals live, and with Jews being harassed and physically assaulted in the streets and on College campuses simply for being Jewish, not a peep. This in and of itself explodes the myth that being anti-Israel/Zionist is not the same as being anti-Semitic. Despicable does not even begin to describe Nixon, Ruffalo, Greta von Thule et al. Stupidity kills. By the way, considering the rhetoric against Trump, conservatives and anyone not identified as Democrat or Left, that if Trump and his supporters win, that they will turn America into some sort of White Supremacist Christian theocracy that will round up all its enemies and put them into concentration camps, is both a clue as to what the Left's ultimate aim is should they cement their hold on absolute power. Projection ain't just a river in Egypt. Have a good day.

- Idiots who tried TikTok's viral "free money glitch" at ATMs are getting reported for fraud. (Gizmodo)
The "glitch" involved depositing a cheque that you wrote on your own account into your own account at an ATM, and then withdrawing the funds immediately before the cheque bounced.
There is a term for this.
Though doing it from and to your own bank account is an artistic touch of idiocy I had never considered. It's not entirely clear how many people may have tried this scheme, but the Journal describes it as "thousands." The viral meme got so popular that tens of millions of people have watched TikTok videos about the "glitch" at this point, according to the Journal.
People haven't gotten dumber, it's just that technology allows them to do more dumb things faster.
- Though considering that many of these people posted video of themselves committing grand larceny in a manner where the bank also has video of them, maybe they really are getting dumber.
- Though again, considering that criminal mastermind Frank Abnagale, the subject of the movie Catch Me If You Can, only managed to make off with $1448.60 in his own cheque fraud scheme before being caught and sent to prison, maybe not.

A: No. No I do not. Call me a calendar format traditionalist, or even a calendar format purist, but I feel strongly the number belongs in the top half of the box, preferably on the top right. I will abide by placement in the top left, but my calendar format preference is to have the number in the top right of the box. I am going to leave this retarded calendar abomination included for this edition only to serve as a reminder that change is bad. With that, step into the dojo and let's get to the gun stuff below, shall we?

The vitriol spewed by the world media on Israel and its legitimate defensive war against Hamas is unsurprising, but the pressure placed on Israel by the West's governments is unfathomable...unless one assumes that they want Israel to lose.
The false equivalence that was created soon after the atrocities of October 7th is typical of the radical left, but it has been embraced by the mainstream media and, sadly, by far too many people in positions of power. In their twisted interpretation, Israel and Hamas are adversaries acting similarly, rather than the reality, which is that Israel is a vibrant, pluralist, democratic country, and Hamas is a kleptocratic Islamic dictatorship predicated on the annihilation of Israel. Hamas is a death cult with a clever media presence, yet no mainstream media are willing to expose them as the savage murderers they were, are, and always will be. Netanyahu dismisses claims of imminent cease-fire deal"They don't agree to anything: Not to the Philadelphi Corridor, not to the keys of exchanging hostages for jailed terrorists, not to anything," Netanyahu said, adding that the terrorist group "just want us out of Gaza so they can retake Gaza and do as they vowed to do."
The pompous conceit of the Western powers that THIS TIME will be different is a little difficult to take seriously. Every time the Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza have been given autonomy (along with oceans of Western cash), they have promptly bought weapons and redoubled their attempts to kill Israelis in Israel, Jews across the world, and of course any Westerners they could get their hands on. Is there really any hope for Gaza if the template for reconstruction follows the same tired, failed plan from the previous 37 attempts? Sinwar's secret plan to 'smuggle hostages to Iran'
During a 15-minute press conference for the foreign media in Jerusalem last night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu astounded the audience by claiming that Hamas was planning to smuggle hostages out of Gaza using the much-disputed Philadelphi corridor. "If we leave the Philadelphi corridor, it will be impossible to prevent Hamas not only from smuggling weapons, but also from smuggling hostages,” he said. What was the background to this claim? Intelligence sources have told the JC that Sinwar’s plan was to smuggle himself and the remaining Hamas leaders along with Israeli hostages through the Philadelphi corridor to Sinai and from there to Iran. This was reportedly revealed during the interrogation of a captured senior Hamas official, as well as by information obtained from documents seized on Thursday, August 29, the day the six bodies of the murdered hostages were retrieved.
And the Biden/Harris/Obama junta wants Israel to withdraw from the Philadelphi Corridor. It's the equivalent of President Lincoln forcing General Grant to allow a corridor into Vicksburg for resupply. It's insane. And that is before the possibility of Sinwar moving himself and the remaining hostages to Iran! If that occurs then the possibility of a theater-wide war becomes real. Israel cannot stand by while Iran consolidates its power in Gaza, and the idea of Israeli hostages in Tehran is unacceptable. All of this can be laid squarely at the feet of Biden/Harris/Obama. Had they simply supported Israel during the initial few weeks after the October 7th Pogrom, Israel could have been far more aggressive in its conduct of its war against Hamas. But their insistence on a carefully titrated and proportionate war against an existential evil limited Israel's options. In retrospect, Netanyahu should have pushed back against American pressure and gone into Gaza as hard and as fast as possible. Yes, that is Monday-morning quarterbacking, and it would have been a race to win before Biden cut off resupply (which he did anyway). But can anyone argue that the hostages and Israel would be worse off today? [Crossposted at CutJibNewsletter]
