Megyn Kelly read out some poll numbers: 79% of Americans agree that "we have gone too far in accommodating trans people," 77% agree that men (or "trans women") should be banned from women's/girl's sports, and 71% agree that children should be banned from being injected with puberty blockers. (The Democrats only agreed 54% with that last one -- they're the Party of Groomers.)

Politico's Jonathan Martin is a totally neutral and objective journalist with unerring judgment, which is why he decided to launch an incredibly petty rant against Trump for (checks notes) making a joke that the broad rim of Melania's hat might be caught by the wind and lift her off the ground like a helicopter.

Every Democrat president eventually gets around to pardoning leftwing terrorists. Bill Clinton pardoned the Puerto Rican FARC terrorists who set off bombs at the New York Stock Exchange, for example.

But they're not allies with the revolutionary/terrorist left. Oh dear no! It's just that they're always pardoning leftwing terrorists because it just happens to work out, coincidentally, that leftwing terrorists are always deserving of presidential clemency.

And so Biden pardons another terrorist.

And Jake Tapper will be just beside herself when Trump pardons people guilty of nothing more than (checks notes) "parading in a public place."

Just moments before leaving office, President Joe Biden commuted the life sentence of Indigenous activist Leonard Peltier, who was convicted in the 1975 killings of two FBI agents.

Peltier was denied parole as recently as July and wasn't eligible for parole again until 2026. He was serving life in prison for the killings during a standoff on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. He will transition to home confinement, Biden said in a statement.

Biden issued a record number of individual pardons and commutations. He announced Friday that he was commuting the sentences of almost 2,500 people convicted of nonviolent drug offenses, and he issued a broad pardon to his son Hunter, who was prosecuted for gun and tax crimes.

He pardoned the 2500 drug dealers as a smokescreen in which to hide the pardons of his family members and co-conspirators.

Those aren't the only murderers of law enforcement personnel Biden pardoned on his stinking, filthy exit from the Usurped White House.

Governor Glenn Youngkin today released the following statement after President Joe Biden announced the clemency of violent criminals Ferrone Claiborne and Terence Richardson, two men who admitted to being responsible for the brutal killing of Officer Allen Gibson, a Sussex County police officer.

"I am beyond outraged and in utter disbelief that President Biden would announce clemency for Ferrone Claiborne and Terence Richardson--two men who admitted for being responsible to brutally killing Officer Allen Gibson, a hero and dedicated servant to our community," said Governor Glenn Youngkin. "What makes this even more unconscionable is the Biden U.S Attorney advised the White House not to commute these sentences as they are violent offenders. The pain and sorrow this clemency causes the Gibson family is unimaginable. To know that the men who took Officer Gibson's life will walk free is not just a grave injustice--it is a heartbreaking blow to those who continue to mourn his sacrifice. This is despicable; a grim day for justice and for the families who trust that our system will hold the guilty accountable."

Both prisoners admitted to being responsible for the brutal killing of Officer Allen Gibson in Sussex County Circuit Court. The evidence presented and the details surrounding Officer Gibson's death are deeply disturbing and tragic.

Jonathan Turley writes that Biden's pardon of all the capos in the Biden Crime Family is the final proof of his disgusting corruption.

With only 15 minutes to go as president, Joe Biden snatched infamy from the jaws of obscurity.

With record-low polling and widely viewed as a "failed" president, Biden completed his one-man race to the bottom of ethics by issuing preemptive pardons to members of his own family.

The pardons were timed to guarantee that the media would not focus on yet another unethical act by this president. He need not have worried. For four years, the media worked tirelessly to deny or deflect the corruption scandal surrounding the Biden family.

The pardoning of James Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John Owens and Francis Biden brought an inescapable clarity to the corruption of what is known in Washington as Biden Inc.

I have written about the Biden family's corruption for decades. Influence-peddling has always been the favorite form of corruption in Washington, but this city has never seen the likes of the Biden family. Millions of dollars were secured from foreign sources and distributed to various Biden family members.

Biden repeatedly lied about the influence peddling. He long denied knowing about his son's foreign clients or business. He denied ever meeting Hunter's clients. Later, photos and emails showed that Biden had clearly met these clients and knew about the business deals. He was fully aware that his family was cashing in on his name and various offices.

Even Biden's claims about handling the Trump cases were recently contradicted. While long claiming that he left these cases to the Justice Department and took no position on the merits, the Washington Post recently reported that Biden was irate over the failure to prosecute Trump before the election. He also reportedly lashed out at Attorney General Merrick Garland and said he regretted his appointment in light of the failure to nail Trump.

One of the most glaring lies was that he would never pardon his son. Few people believed him. Indeed, Hunter Biden's bizarre criminal defense made no sense unless he knew that he had a pocket pardon if all else failed.

Once he was forced out of the presidential race, Biden was freed up to sign a pardon for any and all crimes committed over a ten-year period by his son. He insisted that he really hadn't been lying. He claimed that no ordinary person would have been tried for his son's crimes -- a manifestly untrue statement. He also emphasized that he had to take this step as a father of a son who was a hopeless addict and has now been clean for years.

However, the latest family pardon shatters even that rationalization. These Bidens are not even charged with any crimes, but Biden wanted to give them cover from any possible prosecution for anything. It was the ultimate sign of contempt for the intelligence of the American public and the integrity of his office.

Biden has long exercised situational ethics and, with his powers coming to an end, the situation demanded that he cash out before his credit ended. In granting these pardons, Biden was seeking to protect not just his family but also himself. He was the object of the influence peddling and repeatedly lied to bury the scandal. This insulation of his family serves to move the threat farther from himself.

Biden, however, may have been too clever by half this time. In the final moments of his presidency, He broke into the open and exposed not just himself but his allies in the media. Reporters are now fully visible as willing dupes in one of the greatest corruption scandals in the history of this country.

Turley says it is imperative that the Biden Crime Family still be probed for its corruption, and now that they have pardons, they cannot interpose the Fifth Amendment to refuse to testify.

Why do they call themselves "Team DeLulu"? It sounds like Team Delusion. Do they realized they're deluded? Are they making fun of us for wrongly thinking they're deluded? I do not know.

Who can fathom the mind of an idiot.

The latest theory I heard was this: That government agents were preparing to swarm-arrest Trump for electoral fraud, but what they needed to cinch the case was for him to take the oath of office, which would... I don't know, complete the crime or show intent or something.

So this entire transition and inauguration has been a legal trap for Trump, and now he's just moments from being carted off to Levinworth to await his hanging.

I gotta tell you, I don't see this panning out.

Obviously the media reports none of these insane conspiracy theories. Because half of them want to protect their fellow insane leftist allies, and the other half believe the conspiracy theories.

The senior official told Fox News Digital that the energy executive order deals with "every single energy policy," and addresses liquid natural gas, ports, fracking, pipelines, permitting and more, while also terminating President Biden polices he said "have constrained U.S. energy supply."

The official also said Trump will fully reform the federal bureaucracy by reestablishing presidential control over the career federal workforce and make clear to federal workers that they can be removed from posts for failing to comply with executive directives.

Trump will sign an executive order to strengthen presidential control over senior government officials and implement a new merit-based hiring review. Trump will also take action to return federal workers to in-person work.

The official also said Trump will end the 'weaponization of the federal government,' and 'restore freedom of speech' and 'end federal censorship.'

Trump, on his first day, will also suspend the security clearances for the 51 national security officials who "lied" about Hunter BIden's laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

This is going to be an amazing news day. It will end with dozens – perhaps hundreds - of Executive Orders from President Donald Trump reversing the left-wing agenda imposed over the course of the Obama presidency and Biden regency. But first, there is the much-expected, pre-emptive pardons of the most subversively corrupt government employees, specifically Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, and Liz Cheney and the J6 Committee.

In addition to the named individuals, the pardon applies to, "Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee."

Fine. I’m not sure they’d ever go to jail for their subversive actions anyhow, but now they cannot refuse to testify about their crimes.

It is imperative that Congress call each of these pardoned traitors to testify under oath, and if they refuse to testify, or do so and perjure themselves, they will have committed a federal crime. In addition, Fauci, Cheney, et al must also expose every confederate who conspired with and participated in their criminal actions.

Good morning kids. Oh Happy Day!!! As I write this, it's a bitterly cold negative 6 degrees, but from where I sit there is nothing but sweetness light and warmth as this long anticipated and prayed for day and historic moment arrives at noon in Washington DC. At that hour, as America's Lowest Debasement shambles off to a DE basement. Donald Trump will once again be sworn in as President of the United States of America. Will he be ushering in an era of actual national revival or will his term merely be a short term pause in the generational ambitions of our internal enemies to destroy our nation and society to supplant it with the tyranny and oppression that has been the hallmark of governments since time immemorial. Evil never rests, and the historic and perpetual seat of evil in America, the Democrat Party is not going to disappear.

Remember, we do not share common ground nor common goals. It's not about mere policy differences, it's about the nature of our very existence.

What we see today is a party without a plan, struggling to adapt to an electorate that has outgrown its stale rhetoric and empty promises. Their loss of credibility, failure to connect with working-class voters, alienation of minorities, and disastrous leadership have left them floundering. But make no mistake: the Democrats will soon find a new narrative, a new cause to rally their base. And when they do, Republicans will be ready to tear it apart—just as they always have.

For now, the Democrat Party has mastered the art of losing. Their inability to address the concerns of everyday Americans has handed Republicans an historic victory. As the left scrambles to reassemble itself, the GOP can savor the moment, secure in the knowledge that they’ve delivered what Democrats could not: a message that resonates and a vision for the future. Now is the time for them to execute on President Trump’s America First mandate.

Make no mistake, I am overjoyed beyond words that Chlamydia Harris and Obama or whoever is behind the scenes running the show have been derailed because had she/they prevailed it would've been the final nail in our coffin, and yet despite the miracle of the Reagan years, America still gave the Left 16 years of Clinton and Obama which sadly the Bushes did nothing to prevent nor insulate against since they too are part of the same hypocrisy and criminality that eroded the foundations of the Republic, albeit for different reasons yet still with the hubris of elitism a driving factor.

Meh, I don't mean to piss in your corn flakes on such a wonderful day, but one election, even one as miraculous and glorious as this one is not in and of itself going to do the trick. We are going to have to field an army of Trumps in every election going forward, from dog-catcher to POTUS and every office in between. In order to do that, we are going to have to take back our schools and once again re-establish Judeo-Christian ethics and morality as foundational to the inculcation and reestablishment of a flourishing healthy nation and society.

For now, as Winston Churchill stated in the wake of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, "I slept the sleep of the saved and thankful." Knowing Trump will once again be in charge, and hopefully fully aware of the darkness and depth of the swamp he is dealing with will be better prepared to fend it off and really pull the stopper out of the drain, I too am relieved. Perhaps the Los Angeles firestorm, as well as the other natural and unnatural disasters unleashed on us by Democrat Leftism will at long last open enough eyes so that Donald Trump's RE-re-election is merely on the cutting edge of a real sea change in our collective culture and mindset.

Let January 20th of 2025 be a day long remembered as the moment the Neo-American and neo-Western Renaissance came to pass. May we all live long enough to actually see that hope and prayer realized.

Elsewhere, while I am overjoyed by the release of the first Israeli hostages by the savages of Hamas, I cannot help but have major reservations about this deal that also saw the release of Islamic savages in exchange. And behind the scenes, if this is true, it is a massively inexcusable blunder. And something I had thought Trump unlike presidents past was going to reject. That is the Peace Process myth that only helps empower the Swamp Dwellers of Foggy Bottom and the Muslims baying for an ocean of Jewish blood.

Presidential teams have all sorts of players on them. And much as some might have hoped that after the first term, the Trump team would be ‘clean’, that’s proving not to be the case.

The adoption of Biden’s disastrous surrendering to terrorist deal by Steve Witkoff, Trump’s Middle East envoy, appears to have saved Hamas.

And we’re getting all sorts of leaks to the media by people supposedly on the Trump team blasting Israel and propping up Islamic terrorists in Gaza and Lebanon.

The latest one is an NBC News story touting Witkoff and a larger ‘nation-building’ agenda for Gaza.

President-elect Donald Trump’s envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, is considering a visit to the war-torn Gaza Strip as part of his efforts to keep a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas on track, according to a transition official with direct knowledge of the ceasefire process.

Witkoff appears to have had his activities directed by the Emir of Qatar. He appears to have had past financial dealings with the Islamic terrorist state which was also linked to 9.11. And Qatar is a state sponsor of Hamas.

But a basic question is who is this unnamed ‘transition official’ laying out an elaborate agenda for Witkoff who sounds more like an Obama or Biden official.

Anecdotally, Steven Witkoff is almost as big a real estate developer as the Trump Organization and I actually did some work for him a number of years ago on a potential project he was pitching to Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai. Continuing...

What kind of Trump transition-official rants about the “right-wing of the Israeli side”?

And pushes nation-building in Gaza.

At the same time, Witkoff is working to achieve long-term stability for the Israelis and 2 million displaced Palestinians, the path to which runs through the three phases of the deal reached this past week…

While managing the current phase of the deal and negotiating the next, Trump and his team also are contending with longer-term solutions.

“If we don’t help the Gazans, if we don’t make their life better, if we don’t give them a sense of hope, there’s going to be a rebellion,” the transition official said.

This is not what anyone outside Dearborn voted for. Trump voters don’t want America going back to the same failed Obama policies and trying to do nation-building in Gaza or making “their lives better”.

The only thing that we should be doing is getting the hell out of the way while Israel can engage in myth-busting – to Wit the myth of a Palestinian people, history and homeland that was concocted by the KGB and Arafat as a means of delegitimizing and dismantling Israel, and ousting America from the region.

And if it means bulldozing Gaza into the Med and bunker-busting the rubble into dust, so be it. If these dark age savages can't accept being a part of a state run by and living as fellow citizens with Jews (the horror!) then they can go to Hell, or Pakistan. Meh, even the Pakistanis don't want them, like every other Muslim nation on the planet.

I can only hope Steven Witkoff isn't envisioning his name on top of a string of hotel/casino/resorts/condos and marinas along the Gaza coast as his reward for his efforts. Ugh.

Speaking of terrorism and Tourism, What about Washington DC at noon eastern:

As Inauguration Day approaches, Communist militants and members of Antifa-aligned hubs have suggested storming the Capitol, bringing “direct action” to the streets, and obstructing law enforcement. On another note, today is the holiday celebrating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For sure he was a problematic figure, but the irony of his I have a Dream speech in which he prayed for the day when people are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin runs completely against the dogma of the DEI mantra where Color of skin, sex/gender (real or imagined) is more important that content of character or competency, as we have seen everywhere from Harvard to Los Angeles and all points in between.

Firstly, why is MLK controversial as a hero? King did a great deal for Civil Rights and inspired millions, undeniably, but there is evidence he also did a number of morally reprehensible things in his personal life, including having affairs with as many as 45 women. And then there’s the fact that part of his most famous speech was plagiarized from another black Republican, Archibald Carey. In 2019 it was reported that, “Secret FBI tapes that accuse Martin Luther King Jr of having extramarital affairs with '40 to 45 women' and even claim he 'looked on and laughed' as a pastor friend raped a parishioner exist.” Whether all those accusations are completely true or not — the FBI has sometimes been accurate in investigations — King was undeniably a philanderer and plagiarizer. He was not the best representative of black American heroism. So who is? Well, I don’t know if there’s one person in particular. But there are countless noble and essential black heroes in American history who deserve far more recognition than they now get. It is important to celebrate Americans of all ethnic backgrounds, but in light of tomorrow’s holiday, I will focus on black Americans today.

Before you say anything...they tasted really good, even though the photo makes them look better than reality!

Those are what are called "heirloom carrots" in food marketing jargon. They are just different colored carrots packaged in the same bag. They are dark purple and pale orange and yellow, and of course the typical orange carrot. I usually slice them the long way, then roast them in a hot oven. They taste great, and they look pretty cool on the plate too.

But I wanted to try something a bit different, so I blanched them, then sauteed them in butter and a splash of honey*.

Except...the blanching leached the pigment out of the purple carrots and tinted the rest of them. Man oh man they looked like crap... much worse than the photo. What the hell was I to do? Toss them? Absolutely not! Remember, I am a cheap bastard at heart, and besides, they tasted really good... nice and buttery and sweet.

But I turned the lights down so that they didn't look so awful.

Is there some special vendor of power outlets that sells only to hotels? You know... those outlets that never work, whether they are in a lamp base or the wall or built into the bedside table.

There probably 50 outlets in my home, and I can count on one finger the number that have failed in the last 20 years. So why is it that hotels can't seem to keep their outlets in good working order? I understand that hotel guests don't respect the equipment in hotel rooms, but how much casual physical abuse do outlets have to tolerate?

I think it is a plot by Big Plug!

Yes, Biden is doing damage with his last-minute, baying at the moon insanity, but on the bright side, he is tarnishing the reputation of the Democrat party, and further exposing it as a clown show and a party in existential crisis.

But this one is a head scratcher! The clear language of the amendment is that it would fail if it weren't ratified by...1982!

Biden Declared the Equal Rights Amendment Ratified

President Joe Biden announced on Jan. 17 that the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which was first proposed more than a century ago, is now the "law of the land."

The legal effect of Biden's statement is disputed.

Biden said in a statement three days before his presidency ends that he has supported the ERA for more than 50 years and that "we as a nation, must affirm and protect women's full equality once and for all."

The president said the final hurdle to the formal adoption of the ERA as part of the U.S. Constitution was overcome in January 2020 when the Virginia General Assembly voted to ratify the amendment.

But the text of the amendment might be problematic for the psychotic, sexuality-obsessed Democrat/Progressive cabal. The first paragraph says:

Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Inquiring minds want to know!
