Biden Pardons: Fauci, Cheney, Milley et al Cannot Refuse to Testify About their Illegal Actions Now that They Have Immunity Due to Their Pardons

This is going to be an amazing news day. It will end with dozens – perhaps hundreds - of Executive Orders from President Donald Trump reversing the left-wing agenda imposed over the course of the Obama presidency and Biden regency. But first, there is the much-expected, pre-emptive pardons of the most subversively corrupt government employees, specifically Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, and Liz Cheney and the J6 Committee.

Biden pardons Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, J6 committee members

President Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, and others who some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration on Monday.

The pardon also applies to a litany of people involved in the January 6 select committee investigation.
In addition to the named individuals, the pardon applies to, "Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee."

Fine. I’m not sure they’d ever go to jail for their subversive actions anyhow, but now they cannot refuse to testify about their crimes.

It is imperative that Congress call each of these pardoned traitors to testify under oath, and if they refuse to testify, or do so and perjure themselves, they will have committed a federal crime. In addition, Fauci, Cheney, et al must also expose every confederate who conspired with and participated in their criminal actions.

They've been pardoned, not that they committed any crimes in the first place. What public, social or legal benefit is there in grilling innocent men in a public witch-hunt executed by activist partisans with axes to grind?

What difference can it make at this point? This story - all of these stories - have already been covered exhaustively.

147 It is not true to say that there will be no consequences for their actions; it's just that when they are let off the hook, the consequences move on up the line. At the very minimum, the consequences mean a widespread recognition that Biden's regime was a massive criminal enterprise; and also the Trump will now be even more popular and have more of a mandate for change than he would have.

It is unlikely that many prosecutions would have taken place, since there would have been a lot of pressure on Trump to look to the future and not to litigate the past. However, now Biden has just convinced every LIV voter in the nation that yes, these people really were all criminals guilty of crimes requring a pardon. Good job, Joe. You did a better job of that then we ever could have.

Yea. Testimony and depositions are way overrated. In my 20 years experience as a lawyer, having been involved in 100s of depositions and dozens of trials/arbitrations, the times a witness actually gave damning testimony that implicated themselves could be counted in probably single digits.

And in those cases, there already were documents and other hard evidence that conclusively proved their guilt. The vast vast majority of witnesses, when questioned about their guilt, remember exactly nothing. If anyone thinks any of these pardoned criminals are gonna admit guilt in front of a committee -- or even admit any role in any wrongdoing -- I admire your optimism, but it's unicorn-fantasy unreality.

And while we're in fantasy land, I'd like the Laker Girls to take a break from their burning city, swing on by and give me a hummer.

There will surely be some inquiries and hearings. There will be some nice soundbites from Congressmen raking them. It will dominate a few news cycles. The witnesses will fail to remember, refuse to answer, lie and prevaricate. Nobody will see any justice.

It will be theatrical but largely unsubstantial. I am much more optimistic about reform of some of the bureaus, including HHS and its siblings. I don't like RFK Jr but he is essentially correct on that topic and appears to have few if any fucks to give for traditional political structure.

Trump can still hold a review over his fitness for his terminal rank and reduce it. A pardon would not cover that.

Also, he can bar him from all US military installations, so no hanging out at West Point. Trump could also have his official portrait removed for modified.

Lots of non-judicial ways to wreck someone in the military. Trump could order each duty to start with "FUCK MILLEY!"

This power of the President is not subject to legislative control. Congress can neither limit the effect of his pardon, nor exclude from its exercise any class of offenders. The benign prerogative of mercy reposed in him cannot be fettered by any legislative restrictions.

I'm sure it will be argued that this means Congress can't even call them into hearings about their crimes they are being pardoned for.

233 The worst thing about our current political landscape is this back-and-forth between Americanism and communism of the last several administrations.

It does little good to reverse evil economic, domestic, and foreign policies if the next round puts them right back. Industries can't be assured that the policies that lured them back to the USA will be in place four years later; foreign governments who trust a good President can't be assured America won't reverse course later; individuals and businesses can't be sure their homes and livelihoods will be safe and secure in the long run.

The collectivists and their cohorts must be so ostracized and blocked from public life and service that they have no avenues to return to power. Mr Sefton noted this morning (again), "Evil never rests, and the historic and perpetual seat of evil in America, the Democrat Party is not going to disappear." They must be crushed to utter impotence.

I have no miraculous answer as to how to do this, beyond the obvious necessity of recapturing education and communication and culture, but I know that we must secure our nation against the tyrants and thieves to survive and thrive in the long term.

Rep: yes but they were afraid Trump would go after them illegally.
Me: well if it were “illegal” why not just go to court and prove your innocence instead of pleading guilty and accepting the pardon?

347 Good news, but it's difficult to believe we have reached a point where this is necessary.

Do we give out blanket, non-specific pardons just to prevent criminal investigation/charges or whatever? Treading new, potentially dangerous ground here, IMO

Because he incoming regime would manufacture criminal charges against these people. And the justice system can't be trusted to throw those charges out as the nonsense they most certainly will be.

The "modern" media allows the re-writing of government functioning:

- that "DOGE" is somehow a real Department
- a President can shut down an agency or eliminate an entire Department at the stroke of a pen
- a President can "declassify" classified documents with a thought

then a "pardon" can be anything we say it is.

Ok. Wheee. Let's chuck all the toys out and enter that brave new world. This will come back to bite us in the ass. We won't like where this heads

Sometimes one has to stand up to the bully. Continuing to "turn the other cheek" hasn't worked although we know that WE still have empathy and they have none.

Unfortunately, he didn't pardon Leonard Peltier. 😢

He's set the precedent that any administration can act as lawlessly as they like, and then on their way out the door issue pardons for every member of that administration so that none will have to face any accountability. The enemy sets the rules of engagement. Remarkable how many people don’t grok this. I’m not a huge fan of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle club, but the president - Sonny Barger had a saying - “treat me good, I’ll treat you better. Treat me bad, I’ll treat you worse.” Has a nice symmetry and could have been written by Kennedy’s speech writer, who was inordinately fond of contrapuntal phrases.

Also, F U War, as Breitbart said. He would have been a good Angel I betcha

Posted by: Daniel Ream at January 20, 2025 11:22 AM (LgYtf)

It's actually a very gray area. When Nixon was given a blanket pardon, it was considered a unique case done in the interest of national stability, because it was deemed harmful to drag former Presidents who still had widespread support through the Courts. Biden's use of the pardons for his family members and others is something completely new, and which I think must be challenged.

You know, I could have named my cat "Barron" or "Baron." It would have suited him almost as well as "Stirling" does.

So, just like dollars or euro, or any other phony baloney currency. Weird, innit? “All debts public and private” kinda makes demand, through government force. It ain’t fiat money, or more correctly fascist money. Hjalmar Schacht could tell you all about it.

Curious they didn’t hang him at Nuremburg. Weird innit?

739 What a stunning difference from the Trump's last inauguration. He is battle hardened to all the vile things that happen in DC and somehow while under that withering assault, mostly rebuilt the Republican party in his image, has brought the tech bros to heel, expanded his support with US citizens to demographics not thought possible, and has the Democrat party on its ass.

And in case anyone cares Amy "The Comb" Klobuchar is a complete c***. She is the last person I want to hear from let alone giving us a lecture.

742 "Biden, after five decades of public service"

He was a saint.
Posted by: Stateless...15% at January 20, 2025 11:41 AM (jvJvP)

And what a perfect ending to his five decades of “service.” He’s a rotting, senile old corpse led around by a bunch of fat, blue-haired Gender Studies majors, only to be dumped and replaced with a skanky ho whose only achievement was tossing Willie Brown’s salad. Then said skanky ho went down in flames on election night because of the policies that he scrawled a shaky X on. Aren’t you proud, Joe? What would Cornpop say if he could see you now?

743 Funny thing is, the Autopen is still grinding out pardons.
Posted by: Cicero (@cicero43) at January 20, 2025 11:34 AM (JkO4W)

I'd like to propose an amendment to the HQ Style Guide: henceforth, let us refer to the recipients of Gropin' Joe's pardons as "the wrongfully-pardoned (traitor, murderer, grifter) xxx xxxx."

for example: "the wrongfully-pardoned traitor Mark Milley"

Posted by: An Observation sez Trump is my President at January 20, 2025 12:02 PM (Da7Vv)

745 Interesting thought - the pardon powers are pretty explicit. But they all deal with actions that presume a conviction for a misdeed. There is nothing suggesting you can pardon forward.

It would seem this will be the lever to get them to talk - all of them.

Posted by: Black JEM at January 20, 2025 12:19 PM (GZYu7)

746 Great point, Buckster! Yep, they sign away their 5th Amendment rights.

Posted by: Danimal28 at January 20, 2025 12:21 PM (1E4GV)

747 It's pretty cool that you can pardon people for crimes they didn't even commit (according to the guy granting the pardon) and much less never convicted of.

And any pardon accepted by a J6'r is an admission of guilt, but any pardon accepted by someone not even in jail is not.

Must be nice being king. What a f-'d up country we live in.

Posted by: ama at January 20, 2025 02:00 PM (ez10z)

750 Buck, serious question:

As we saw with Scooter Libby, Donald Trump, etc., declaring that someone is lying is subjective. What's to stop them from invoking their 5th Amendment right based on the argument that "if my testimony doesn't match your preconceptions you'll call it perjury and prosecute, so I'm saying nothing."

Posted by: SDN at January 20, 2025 02:49 PM (rzWS7)

751 Biden would grant a Pardon the Benedict Arnold and Alger Hiss if he wanted to

Posted by: Tamaa the Drongo Bird at January 20, 2025 03:22 PM (FLiOE)

752 Per Burdick v United States, SCOTUS opinion:

There are substantial differences between legislative immunity and a pardon; the latter carries an imputation of guilt and acceptance of a confession of it,

So there's that.
