The DOJ lawyer who interfered in the Hunter Biden investigation, forbidding any questioning or avenue of inquiry that could implicate Joe Biden, has "quietly departed" the DOJ.
Of course she wasn't fired. She was doing the will of The Regime. But she's become a bit of an embarrassment, so she's been asked to work in the private sector for a while, where she'll be paid off hugely for her past service. Later on, she'll be rehired by the Deep State when they have a big political case that needs fixing. But for now, she's left the DOJ just as she's called for questioning in the impeachment investigation.A federal prosecutor who allegedly interfered in the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden to protect both President Biden and his son recently left the Justice Department, The Post has learned. Former Delaware assistant US attorney Lesley Wolf's quiet departure emerged as she appeared for a deposition with the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday morning -- following the Wednesday night House vote to formally authorize the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden over his role in his son and brother's foreign business dealings. Wolf's starring role in the alleged coverup in the criminal tax fraud and foreign lobbying investigation is a significant part of the impeachment inquiry -- with whistleblowers saying that she discouraged asking witnesses questions about "the big guy" or "dad," referring to Joe Biden, claiming there was "no specific criminality to that line of questioning." Two IRS agents who worked on the criminal investigation, Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, alleged in prior testimony to House committees that Wolf tipped off Hunter Biden's lawyers to investigative steps and forbade inquiries into Joe Biden even when communications mentioned him. Wolf allegedly instructed FBI agents in August 2020 to remove references to Joe Biden from a search warrant affidavit, writing, "someone needs to re [the affidavit]... There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here," according to an email released by the Ways & Means Committee. A federal prosecutor who allegedly interfered in a five-year probe into first son Hunter Biden has left the Justice Department, a source familiar with the move told The Post. "That email, I think, is super important because it's a one-off example in writing of the constant concern of following investigative leads that might lead to Joe Biden," Ziegler said Thursday in a Fox News interview. "The FBI agents who ed that affidavit, they believed that they had sufficient evidence -- probable cause -- to support including Political Figure 1 in that affidavit," said the self-identified Democrat and veteran IRS agent, who worked on the case for five years. "That related to [Ukrainian energy company] Burisma, access to Joe Biden and access to the administration and there was ample evidence that was included in that affidavit that's supported including Political Figure 1. That has a waterfall effect on the investigation because those emails that we're searching for might not come through to the team."From Matt Vespa, who points out that Hunter Biden's corrupt plea deal blew up when the judge caught wind that this DOJ official had interfered in the investigation.
The FBI official who investigated Trump for colluding with Russia while he himself was literally colluding with Russia was just sentenced to 50 months in prison, which is a light sentence considering that he confessed to what is, essentially, working as a covert agent of Russia.
A former FBI counterintelligence official who played a role in the Trump-Russia collusion probe was sentenced to four years in prison on Thursday for accepting payments from a billionaire Russian oligarch who is under U.S. sanctions. Charles McGonigal was sentenced after pleading guilty to felonies in two different cases, one of which involved his work for Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, The Wall Street Journal reported. McGonigal, who worked on some of America's most important national security cases over a two-decade period with the bureau, was arrested in January and charged with accepting payments from Deripaska in exchange for digging up dirt on one of the sanctioned oligarch's Russian rivals. Just before he retired from the FBI, McGonigal was involved in the investigation into former President Donald Trump's alleged ties to Russia, allegations a special counsel report suggested were never "technically plausible." The former FBI official played a role in the bureau's probe of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page when in 2017, McGonigal texted a colleague, saying, "Our Team is currently talking to [Carter Page] re Russia," The Washington Free Beacon reported.Trust your Expert Class and Professional Managerial Class, everyone. They only want What's Best For You (TM).
Meanwhile, more FBI agents are talking about the bureau's corruption and its transformation into a weapon of the left's id. James Gagliano is a retired supervisory special agent. He writes about another retired FBI agent, Assistant Director of the Criminal Division, explaining how the one-time communist party member James Comey redirected agency recruitment efforts towards filling the agency with his fellow travelers, as well as his own observations of the bureau's shift from law enforcement to political enforcement.
Dating back to the 2016 Trump-Russia sham investigation, heavy-handed over-charging of Trump campaign surrogates, blatantly uneven treatment of right-wing and left-wing protesters and rioters, labeling angry parents speaking out at school board meetings as "domestic terror" concerns, aiding Big Tech's 2020 election suppression of information, seeming disinterest in Hunter Biden laptop revelations and Biden family's obvious influence-peddling schemes, and a laughably absurd Richmond division intelligence product warning of "radical-traditionalist Catholics," the FBI has raised eyebrows. Many retired FBI agents -- to include this author -- have long caveated criticisms of the FBI by maintaining the bias and partiality concerns are related to certain FBI senior executives. We then justifiably laud the hard work and faithful service of the vast majority of the men and women who comprise the street-level, case-working special agents. Yet, it is becoming exceedingly more difficult to separate large swaths of FBI rank and file from its questionable leadership. Retired FBI Criminal Division Assistant Director Chris Swecker recently outlined why it is no longer just FBI headquarters executives who are radically transforming the bureau and skewing it leftward. Swecker acknowledges the culpability of the FBI's current recruitment processes:
"There has been a seismic shift in the [FBI] culture...[I]n comes [FBI director] Jim Comey and he basically parachutes all these DOJ political appointees into the FBI and slowly the culture shifts over Comey's tenure and then under [FBI director] Chris Wray it's accelerated because I think the type of recruit they're bringing in is more opinionated, more idealistic, more liberal, highly educated, more Ivy League, and they tend to not just follow the facts, they tend to insert their own ideologies, their own opinions because the indoctrination that's taking place in the schools these days -- if you're virtuous and you're highly educated, you do everyone else's thinking for them. You can decide that President Trump is not fit to be president, therefore we need to go after him. You can decide that domestic terrorists only exist on the right side of the political aisle, not on the left side of the political aisle. You can pick winners and losers...It's no longer 'Let's just follow the facts.' I'm going to say that's at the highest levels of the FBI...but I think it's beginning to percolate down to the street level [rank and file agents] as well." The FBI proclaims that diversity remains "at the core of [its] mission." Same preferred diversity of which American universities clamor -- race, gender, sexual orientation -- all while seemingly avoiding diversity in thought. ... I also witnessed firsthand the FBI's shift away from objective resource allocation and "calling things what they were" when Barack Obama's "wing man," Attorney General Eric Holder, compelled Comey's FBI to resist accurate description of terror attacks by "radical Islamists" in exchange for more nebulous depictions of our efforts in "combating violent extremism." Contrast that muted downplaying of the Muslim perpetrators of the vast majority of worldwide terror attacks with how DOJ treated the January 6th "insurrectionists" and angry parents at school board meetings -- compared again to 2020 ANTIFA and BLM anarchists and rioters. The FBI has also been accused by a whistleblower of artificially-inflated domestic terrorism data as pertains to rightwing groups. Certainly, appears one-sided and partisan, no?
...
Even the FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) -- which purports to represent active and retired agents -- has taken a perceptible leftward lurch in its advocacy. The FBIAA saluted controversial and embattled immunologist Dr. Anthony Fauci by presenting him its 2020 "Distinguished Service Award," and its then-president tweeted that U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick's death was a "killing" based upon deployment to Capitol on January 6, 2021. According to the medical examiner, Sicknick died of "natural causes." Most egregiously, the FBIAA awarded $100 gift cards to FBI agents who shamefully knelt in solidarity with -- or fear of -- the mob of BLM protestors (and rioters) who descended upon Washington, D.C. in the wake of George Floyd's death in the Summer of 2020. These examples prove that bias hasn't only permeated the top of the FBI. It has also infected segments of the special agent population.
... We need the FBI. But it can't continue to whistle past the graveyard, refusing to embrace necessary reforms. To do otherwise will serve as the agency's Waterloo.
Speaking of two tiers of justice:

To be fair, the problem wasn't all the marketing.
We also have to look at the product they were trying to sell. Ugh.Former President Bill Clinton privately criticized his wife Hillary's failed 2016 presidential campaign, complaining to a friend that it couldn't "sell p--y on a troop train," according to a new book. The 42nd president's complaint was specifically aimed at the Hillary Clinton campaign's heavy use of identity politics -- attempting to paint Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-Vt.) policies as sexist and racist in op-eds ghost-written by advocacy groups -- as the former secretary of state battled the socialist lawmaker for the Democratic presidential nomination. "To the extent that the campaign tactic moved the needle at all, it likely pushed moderate voters paying only marginal attention to the campaign towards Sanders, who spoke like a normal person while Clinton began ascending into what her ally James Carville would later call, 'faculty lounge speak,'" journalist Ryan Grim writes in "The Squad: AOC and the Hope of a Political Revolution," which was released last week. "Former President Bill Clinton, surveying the landscape and the ham-handed efforts at identity politics was bereft, lamenting to a longtime friend in the fall of 2016 that Hillary's campaign 'could not sell p--y on a troop train,'" Grim writes. ... When asked by Christiane Amanpour in the same interview whether she believed she was a victim of misogyny, Clinton responded, "Yes, I do think it played a role ... [misogyny] is very much a part of the landscape politically, socially and economically." Clinton is reportedly now helping President Biden with his 2024 re-election campaign, hosting a fundraiser for the incumbent at her Washington, DC, home last month, according to NBC News. And oh boy, does it show!
Former President Donald Trump has the edge over President Joe Biden in seven crucial swing states in hypothetical match-ups with the 2024 general election less than a year away, according to a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll. The poll, released on Thursday, shows Trump leading Biden in head-to-head races and in deeper fields in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. However, some of the advantages are within the margin of error. Trump won six of these seven states in 2016, propelling him to the White House over Democrat Hillary Clinton, but in 2020, Biden carried six of these states in his victory over Trump. These states will decide the 2024 election, and Trump's early strength in them is cause for concern for Democrats and Biden, whose approval rating registers at historic lows in other recent polling.I think Rasmussen is skewed too far to the Republican side, but it can still be valuable for showing directionality. And it's showing a big swing to Trump.
Voters over the past month have swung behind former President Donald Trump, wiping out President Joe Biden's 4-point lead to put the Republican on top by double digits. In the latest Rasmussen Reports poll shared with Secrets, Trump now leads Biden by 10 points, 48%-38%. ... Trump's surge revealed Biden's continued struggle with likely voters, especially independents and younger voters. He is now losing to Trump with younger voters and women. Among independents, Trump is beating Biden 53%-30%.Rasmussen also tested a three-way race, with RFK Jr. included. RFKJr. draws mostly from Trump, but Trump still edges Biden by 8%, Rasmussen claims.

The idea of America First accords with both reason and religious morality. However, some prominent conservatives, whom I know and respect, seem to equate “America First” with “America Only.” And that is neither logical, nor moral, nor American. There is a lot of soaring faux-Reaganesque rhetoric in Prager’s piece, which is fine, but it pretends that “America First” is even on the table as an option. With narco-terrorists and human traffickers entering our country unimpeded, it’s clear that “America First” is not a consideration of our rulers. It seems to me that the options might be ranked as below, with the conservative base divided between options 1 and 2 (“America Only” and “America First”
2) America First
3) America Someday
4) America Last
5) America Never To re-state the thesis, most conservatives will settle for “America First.” But if that is not really an option, then they don’t slide into the internationalist “America Someday” bucket out of Republican party loyalty, instead they move the other direction into the isolationist “America Only” slot. Before I go further, I will state that I am not an isolationist nor “America Only,” but I find myself getting pushed that way when my government cares more about the integrity of Ukraine’s border than about the US border. I’ll also point out that I am a die-hard defender of Israel, and of my Jewish brothers and sisters across the globe. I enthusiastically support Israel for religious, political, cultural, and civilizational reasons, and I consider the war that Israel is fighting against Hamas to be part of the long-term defense of the Unites States and its values. I do not feel the same way about the Slavic turf war in eastern Ukraine. But…neither I do not begrudge those principled “America Only” folks who feel isolationist toward Ukraine, Israel*, Taiwan, and all the rest. I understand where they’re coming from, and how sick they are of the uni-party always putting America last. (*Unless they utter something about Zionism or the suffering of Palestinians. Then I know they’re not standing on principle, they’re simply anti-Jew.) While many conservatives were glad to provide support to Ukraine initially – especially when it looked like Kiev might fall – it is clear now that keeping the stalemate going is the aim of the political class. A legion of corruptocrats need the money to keep flowing to them through omnibus funding of all things Ukraine, and the military industrial complex profits from keeping the war going so long as Ukraine and Russia can keep supplying men to die. And it’s not enough for us taxpayers to fund that foreign war, we are now being asked to fund Ukraine’s civilian economy too, including paying the salaries of its schoolteachers!

A menorah set up for Hanukkah at Oakland’s Lake Merritt, in the heart of the city, was vandalized early Wednesday, leading to condemnation by local officials — and a motor rally around the lake Wednesday night by Jews with menorahs on their cars. Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, who had participated in a menorah-lighting ceremony at the site just days before, issued a statement blasting the “desecration and act of vandalism,” which appeared to be a blatant act of antisemitism. Graffiti at the site read: “Your org is dying … We’re going to find you, you’re on F—ing alert a–hole.” Parts of the menorah were thrown into the lake. By Wednesday evening, the local Jewish community was out in force at Lake Merritt in a show of defiance, with a parade of cars circling the lake — many with illuminated menorahs on the roofs of their cars. . . An interfaith gathering Wednesday night dedicated a new menorah in a statement of defiance against hate, according to The Messenger. While the reaction from the community is heartening, lest we forget this is Oakland, CA, an historic hotbed of racialist, Marxist-inspired violence stretching from the Black Panthers in the 60s all the way up to the present day. And most recently we had that repulsive performance from the Oakland city council that demanded a ceasefire in Gaza (i.e. the Jews must allow themselves to be slaughtered) and a rejection of a bill condemning Hamas. We can, as I just did, blow it off and dismiss it as another blue Leftist shit-hole doing what comes natural to them, but it's living in the past. It's ignoring a pretty alarming indicator of just how far our society has utterly collapsed. America being as large and diverse (naturally) as it is, we've always been divided along geographic and cultural lines as well as separated by issues. But there was always a sense of unity that held us together, even during some of the most trying times. No more. That went out the window, especially with the coming of Obama if not earlier (maybe the 10-year period starting with the high-tech lynching of Clarence Thomas bookended by planes slamming into the World Trade Center and the immediate aftermath). Here is just one alarming example of the probably irreparable divide that separates us:
A new poll by The Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports found that nearly half of likely voters (47%) believe former President Donald Trump to be guilty of “crimes associated with an alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 election.” If Trump is found guilty, Democrats in particular favor harsh punishments for Trump, as well as any members of the media “who also alleged that fraud tainted the election results.” When prompted with, “Former president Donald Trump has been formally charged with crimes associated with an alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 election. Do you think Donald Trump is guilty, not guilty, or are you unsure if he’s guilty or not guilty?”, 47% of likely voters answered “yes,” including 72% of Democrats and 20% of Republicans. When asked what Trump’s punishment should be if he is found guilty of these crimes, 34% of likely voters said he should receive a fine, 5% said he should go to prison for less than one year, 16% said he should go to prison for one to five years, 16% said he should go to prison for more than five years, 7% said he should go to prison for life, 3% said he should be permanently exiled, and 2% said “death” should be his punishment. Eighteen percent (18%) selected “not sure." A combined 18% of Democrats believe Trump should be imprisoned for life, permanently exiled, or put to death, compared to a combined 3% of Republicans. . . . In addition, when prompted with, “If President Trump is found guilty of crimes associated with attempting to overturn the 2020 election, do you think members of the media who also alleged that fraud tainted the election results should be criminally punished as well?”, 48% of likely voters responded “yes,” 33% responded “no,” and 19% responded “not sure.” Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Democrats responded “yes,” compared to 43% of Republicans. . . . . . When asked “what the punishment should be for those in the media who alleged that the 2020 election outcome was fraudulent,” 33% of likely voters said media members should receive a fine, 18% said they should be banned from public speaking, 4% said they should go to prison for less than one year, 7% said they should go to prison for more than one year, and 10% said they should receive “both [a] speech ban and prison.” Twenty-eight percent (28%) said they were “not sure.” [Heartland's Jim Lakely, VP and Director of Communications states] “Freedom of the press and freedom of speech are integral to an open society. Unfortunately, a growing number of Americans do not believe that these fundamental freedoms should apply to controversial topics, such as questioning the integrity of the 2020 election. Incredibly, almost one in two self-identified Democrats believe that anyone in the media who raised concerns about the veracity of the previous presidential election should be punished through a ban on public speaking, prison time, or a combination of both. “This is quite distressing and reflective of the increasing aversion to freedom of speech that is becoming all too common throughout our education system and society at large. If America is to remain the beacon of liberty, we must ensure that freedom of the press and freedom of speech remain robust and well outside the realm of partisan politics.”CBD and I will have Jim Lakely on as our guest for the weekend edition of the podcast to discuss these alarming numbers, so BOLO in the sidebar for that on Saturday. So, Donald Trump should be imprisoned or put to death for not only the false charges that he attempted to overturn the 2020 election, but in reality merely questioning the 2020 results, and real journalists silenced? Regardless of the fact that 2020 was indeed stolen, what this shows, as if we needed further proof, is that the First Amendment is now null and void if what one says does not comport with the memes, shibboleths and official story of the Junta and/or approved ethnic/electoral blocs. How in God's name can anyone, regardless of their politics, not recoil in horror at the sheer gravity of what this poll indicates? Oops, here I am living inside my head and in the past. I was brought up and educated at a time when the schools were not yet complete brainwashing mills (though looking back, I realize that a number of inconvenient truths about Democrats and Leftists were left out of my social studies and history classes). For sure, they are now. That's how dimwitted, affirmative action cases like Claudine Gay, completely bereft of the brains, skills and aptitude to even wipe down a blackboard end up as president of Harvard. It's also how students can cheer on babies being roasted alive as justified and righteous. Or this:
One in five young people eligible to vote in the 2024 presidential election told pollsters they agreed with the statement “the Holocaust is a myth.” Nearly one-quarter agreed with the statement “the Holocaust has been exaggerated.” Notably, another 30 percent said to pollsters they “did not know” whether the Holocaust was a myth. Only eight percent of people 30 to 44 years old similarly called the Holocaust a myth. Almost one-third of young Americans at 28 percent believe that Jews “wield too much power” in the United States – five times more than those aged 65 and older. This includes 27 percent of black respondents, 19 percent of Hispanics, and 13 percent of white respondents. Rabbi Abraham Cooper attributed the resurfacing of Antisemitism to “[a] generation brought up on social media—including and especially Tik Tok which leads to Shoah (Holocaust) denial and misappropriation of the Shoah, including by politicians—seems everyone is compared to Hitler. A generation with information glut but little perspective; no online librarian, no filters, little collective memory back to the 20th Century.”Now, look at everything since the time of Christ up to the present day – 2,000 years of western, European civilization that brought us (albeit in fits and starts) out of the dark ages being systematically torn down and eradicated right in front of our eyes, by those who claim that they are the true bringers of enlightenment and "progress" to the world. And seemingly there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.
In the midst of the recent and nationwide demonstrators featuring students (and many others) denouncing Israel for its alleged crimes, Algemeiner reported that “students who care strongly about the ‘Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories’ do not have knowledge of basic facts surrounding the subject, and do not share similar concerns about other geopolitical conflicts.” This wholly unstartling bit of information was gleaned from a survey of 230 undergraduates at University of California, Berkeley. Ron Hassner, who has the unenviable position of being Berkeley’s Helen Diller Family Chair in Israel Studies, conducted the survey, which began by presenting students with 18 issues and asking them to rate how interested they were in them. These issues, according to Hassner, included “US-Iran relations, the civil war in Yemen, drone warfare, etc., on a five point scale, ranging from ‘I’m not that interested’ (1 point out of 5) to ‘I care deeply’ (5 points out of 5).” The survey went on from there to ask the respondents a “series of open-ended questions ‘on history, geography, and current affairs.’” Forty-three percent of the students were most interested in Israel’s alleged “control of Palestinian territories,” while expressing much less interest in “other Middle East occupations, such as the Kurdish struggle for independence, the occupation of Western Sahara, or the occupation of Northern Cyprus.” That’s understandable. These indoctrinated bots aren’t inundated daily with self-righteous leftist rubbish about the massive, outrageous, world-historical injustice of the occupation of Western Sahara or Northern Cyprus. In all likelihood, they haven’t even heard of either one. Why is that likely? Because they know virtually nothing regarding the conflict about which they claim to care very deeply: “Eighty-four percent of those in the most passionate cohort could not name the decade when Israel captured the West Bank, while 75 percent could not locate the Palestinian territories in question on a map.” Moreover, a full twenty-five percent of these programmed and propagandized student “placed the Palestinian Territories west of Lebanon, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.” Nor did just a few of them drive the Palestinians into the sea that they chant about wanting to fill with Israelis: “The class average for this blunder was 14%.” The anger of the students toward Israel correlated with their ignorance of it: “the most passionate students were also the least likely to leave questions unanswered and ‘the most likely to offer a wild guess,’ marking them as the most overconfident respondents.” This pattern continually recurred “in all answers related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. . . ” . . . Yes. The students who are most passionate about hating Israel know the least about the conflict because they are suffering from a social contagion, not acting upon a reasoned conclusion. Those who actually study the issue, if they do so thoroughly and honestly, will come out supporting Israel. Our nation’s colleges and universities are doing their level best to prevent that outcome. The Left’s Long March Through the Institutions has been a resounding success. Most of our nation’s colleges and universities, including — indeed, especially — those who enjoy an outsize influence on American politics and culture, have long ago ceased to be centers of higher learning and have become centers of far-Left indoctrination. Marxist sloganeering and agitprop masquerades as genuine intellectual inquiry, and so it’s no wonder that once American youth graduate from their once-renowned institutions, they happily take jobs in government or social media that involve stripping free speech and self-defense rights from Americans. They have been trained to be cogs in the machine. Their hatred of Israel is just one aspect of that indoctrination. The more ignorant the respondent, the louder and more strident they are in their absolutism. Look at virtually any Democrat politician and certainly any mid to high-level bureaucrat especially in Foggy Bottom, the CIA and DOJ. Then look to a certain house in the Kalorama section of D.C. That last paragraph from Robert Spencer puts everything into frightening perspective. The piece-of-shit who resides in that Kalorama home once said "We are the ones we've been waiting for." Year Zero, here we come. Or here we are? Have a good weekend.

Joe Biden's "own" White House staffers have cucked him, holding an "historic" vigil outside of the White House to protest his policies and demand that he impose a ceasefire on Israel.
Staffers and appointees of President Joe Biden's administration held a vigil in front of the White House on Wednesday to demand that the president call for a ceasefire in Gaza. More than three dozen people, most donning sunglasses and masks to conceal their identities, participated in the evening vigil, according to media reports. Former State Department official turned activist Josh Paul, who resigned in October over the Biden administration's approach to the Israel-Hamas war, addressed the crowd during the demonstration in Washington, D.C.
Newsweek reached out via email on Wednesday night to Biden's representatives for comment.

And you know who is supposedly pushing Biden to be "more sensitive" on the war and take a more Hamas-friendly, position? That's right, the Blowjob Czar, Kamala Harris. Biden's getting cucked by 60 year old women now.
If you want to see the future of the Democrats' foreign policy direction, look no further than today's Politico report on Kamala Harris' influence on Joe Biden. According to their sources, the Veep's influence on Biden regarding the war in Gaza has already begun paying dividends. Their three sources tell Politico that Harris has pushed Biden to demonstrate more "sensitivity" to the plight of Palestinians, and to take a harder line on Israel and their war efforts:Good: Biden blames himself for Hunter's legal woes. And ... how's that going, anyway? Before answering that, read on to find out who's idea it was to start denouncing "Islamophobia" at at least the same pitch or higher than the ugly avalanche of anti-Semitic rhetoric and actions that emerged in the first days of the war:
In internal conversations about the war in Gaza, Harris has argued that it is time to start making "day after" plans for how to handle the wreckage of the war once the fighting ends, one senior administration official said. One person close to the vice president's office said she believes the United States should be "tougher" on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; she has called for being "more forceful at seeking a long-term peace and two-state solution," this person said.
In the immediate aftermath of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, which left more than a thousand civilians dead and hundreds more kidnapped as hostages, Harris urged Biden to make sure he condemned Islamophobia at the same time as he spoke out against anti-Semitism. The Washington Post reported last month that Harris "suggested" Biden add a line denouncing Islamophobia in his Oct. 10 speech on the outbreak of war. Since then, Biden, Harris and other administration officials have grown increasingly willing to criticize Israel's approach to battling Hamas, including this week when the president issued a stark warning to the Israeli government about the potential political consequences of its ferocious military offensive.
The only surprising aspect of that catastrophically dumb advice is that Biden didn't think of it first. While demonstrations in support of Hamas and against the Israelis erupted on college campuses and urban centers across America, Biden made himself look out of touch with his focus on '"Islamicphobia" in his Oval Office speech. And of course, the White House sent Karine Jean-Pierre out to flog that for another couple of weeks too, until the White House press corps and the rest of the media began ridiculing the effort.
President Biden has privately expressed that he feels guilty about Hunter Biden's legal troubles, telling close associates that he believes his son wouldn't be facing federal indictments if he hadn't run for office in 2020, according to a report. "In private, no issue is more likely to anger or sadden President Biden than attacks on his son," according to Axios, which describes people close to the 81-year-old president noticing that his "moods shift" when there is unpleasant news about Hunter. Few in the president's inner circle "feel free to discuss Hunter's situation with the president" over fears that it could "prompt both fury and dejection," according to the outlet. The Justice Department investigation into the 53-year-old first son has also "strained" the president's relationship with Attorney General Merrick Garland, the report notes, describing it as "frigid" after Special Counsel David Weiss brought criminal charges against Hunter for allegedly lying about his drug use when he bought a firearm and failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes. It's a family of white trash scumbags that always dindu nuffin' and always thinks The Man is fixin' to frame them. David Axelrod continues slamming Biden's chances of winning, calling Dark Brandon's polling "very, very dark."
People close to the president have "fumed" at Garland for granting Weiss special counsel status to investigate Hunter and have likened the attorney general to former FBI Director James Comey, arguing that both are "obsessed with the appearance of having integrity rather than just trying to make the right decision," according to the outlet.
Similar to the president's claim, Hunter Biden's attorney Abbe Lowell argued Monday that his client was indicted "because he is the son of the president."
"The Wall Street Journal was, you know, very, very dark from a Biden standpoint," he said. He continued, "Job approval down, ratings generally down, most of the comparatives with Trump, not good. And the one that I think was most alarming from my standpoint was when they asked if Biden's policies and Trump's policies when they were president were helpful to people. "Only 23 percent of voters say Biden's policies have helped them personally while 53% said they have been hurt by the president's agenda. By contrast about half of voters say Trump's policies when he was president helped them personally, more than the 37% who said they were hurt. What I worry about you guys from a Biden standpoint is these are the kind of things you get where people are starting to rationalize their votes."I bolded the part about "rationalize their votes" because I don't know what it means, but Axelrod seems to think it's important. I'm going to take a complete guess and say it means something like: "Begin to construct a logical argument which reinforces the sentiment that has already formed in your gut, thus solidifying that changeable sentiment into a more stable and permanent thing." That sounds right, but I don't know if that's what he means. But don't worry, the Fed is on the case! They plan to cut interest rates three times during the election year of 2024. Cutting interest rates causes the cost of borrowing to become lower (duh), which makes it easier to start businesses or buy expensive items, which results in a growing economy (usually). And higher inflation (sometimes). So the Fed seems to be looking to give Biden a nice big lift just in time for election season. Apparently "prices are down" and inflation is over. Did you know that? I didn't. Last time I checked, the rate of inflation had merely fallen to 3.1%, which means prices are "merely" rising at an annual rate of 3.1% now. Not falling. But the Fed thinks that's job done. And KJP says that means that prices are now "down" and the only thing left to fix is "insulin prices" and "junk fees" at the bank and in airline ticketing.
Mike Murphy, one of Axelrod's co-hosts, interjected, "Oh, look, they're ready to fire Biden, you know that's the problem. They just put out another photo op with the Bidenomics sign next to him." They then went on to talk about a couple of CNN polls, one in Georgia and one in Michigan. The Michigan poll had Trump leading by 10 points. Axelrod said he'd heard about private polling which made him think the situation wasn't quite that dire. "But it's bad," he added.

Schoolteachers in France are now being threatened with knives for showing French culture.
This cannot go on.This is the second incident in a week of Muslim 12-year-olds reacting bizarrely to Renaissance art. France was already outraged that Muslim 12-year-olds turned their heads away and refused to look at an Italian painting in art class. The BBC:
French schoolgirl, 12, threatens to kill teacher with a knife and has to be physically restrained in classroom days after Muslim pupils shown painting of nude women left tutor scared for her life By David Averre and Elena Salvoni A 12-year-old schoolgirl threatened a teacher with a knife at a school in northern France on Wednesday, the latest in a growing number of incidents that have raised tensions in the French education system. The schoolgirl is said to have challenged her teacher at the Hautes-Ournes high school in Rennes and brandished a blade in the middle of the classroom, judicial sources told French media. Other staff members managed to restrain the girl before she was able to commit any violence, and promptly handed her over to gendarmes who were called urgently to the premises. The motive behind the armed threat made by the student, who was born in 2011 in Marseilles, is currently unknown. But Rennes prosecutor Philippe Astruc said the schoolgirl went to class 'with the apparent intention of killing her English teacher', adding local authorities had opened a criminal investigation into the incident.
The row began when a teacher showed Diana and Actaeon, a Renaissance-era painting portraying a mythical scene from Roman poet Ovid's Metamorphoses. Several first-year high school students, aged 11 and 12, said they were offended by the work by 17th-Century Italian painter Giuseppe Cesari, Sophie Venetitay from the Snes-FSU teachers union told AFP. "Some students averted their gaze, felt offended, said they were shocked," Ms Venetitay said, adding that "some also alleged the teacher made racist comments" during a class discussion. This is the image they found so shocking:

Six teenagers have been convicted in France for their roles in the 2020 beheading of teacher Samuel Paty. Mr Paty was killed outside his school in Paris after showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad during a class on freedom of expression. A teenage girl was found to have lied about what happened in class, while five others were guilty of identifying Mr Paty to his attacker. The sentences from 14 months to two years are all suspended or commuted. Mr Paty's name was disclosed on social media after caricatures published by the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo were shown during a class he taught. The teenage girl told her parents that Mr Paty had asked Muslim pupils to leave the room before showing the caricatures. But she had in fact been absent from the class in question. The court found her guilty of having made false accusation charges and slanderous comments. Five defendants, aged 14 and 15 at the time, were found guilty of staking out the teacher. They were convicted of involvement in a group preparing aggravated violence. Mr Paty's killer, Abdoullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Chechen refugee, was shot dead by police at the scene of the murder. A second trial will open next year for eight adults also accused of complicity in the murder. These include Brahim Chnina, the father of the 13-year-old girl on trial. So what we have here is: a week after six teens are convicted of aiding and abetting a Muslim beheading a teacher for showing pictures of Mohammad during a class on free speech, a Muslim students begin spontaneously -- ? -- protesting images that they claim offend them, and one Muslim student comes to school with a knife intending to butcher her teacher. Feels a little... connected to me. As if some people are trying to make a point, and protest the conviction of those "youths." I remember when Paty was murdered. I watched a documentary about it. Cameras in French classrooms showed teachers asking students if that teacher deserved to be beheaded. Muslim students, knowing full well they were on camera, said oh yes, he definitely did deserve to have his head chopped off, and the next one who steps out of line will have his head chopped off, too. This was not the minority view among the Muslim students. It was the clear, loudly, proudly exclaimed majority view. I wish I could find that documentary but I can't. If I come across it I'll link it in the sidebar.

Wait, Hannibal Wasn't Black? I Just Assumed He Was Black Because Mr. T Played Him on the A-Team.
Wait, Mr. T Didn't Play Him on the A-Team?
Netflix once again race-swaps a historical figure, this time casting Denzel Washington as Hannibal, who was Phoenician.
I guess they figure, well, Carthage was in Africa, and people are stupid, so they won't know the difference, right? And that's a sound enough working theory. People are now in fact stupider than they've ever been in human history. How sad is that? I mean, honestly, in ninth grade, yeah, I thought Hannibal was black. Because Carthage is in Africa, so he's black. That simple. If I'm being more honest, that early-formed image stuck in my head for a long time. But it's not accurate. And just as the evil cuckstress Jada Pinkett's stupid raceswapped Cleopatra fiction offended Egyptians, this newest film has Tunisians bothered. For some, the famous African-American actor is too old and, above all, too dark to portray Hannibal. As I David Strom pointed out, Denzel Washington is... 68. Hannibal was something like mid-late thirties during his famous trek.
[T]he script is also a cause for concern for Tunisians, who are determined to preserve the image they have of the man considered to be one of history's greatest military strategists -- who died between 183 and 181 BC. The debate, which began on social media and in some media outlets, has now reached Parliament. On Thursday, November 30, at the Assembly of the Representatives of the People (ARP), while the budget for the Ministry of Cultural Affairs was being discussed in plenary session as part of the 2024 Finance Law, MP Yassine Mami questioned Minister Hayet Ketat Guermazi about the Netflix project. "We have no information on the content. There's a risk of falsifying history," he said.... For Mami, who is also president of the Committee on Tourism, Culture and Services, it is about "defending Tunisian identity" and listening to "the reactions of civil society."What a racist Tunisian. So full of White Privilege!

Israel's oldest, bitterest, most implacable foe once again demanded that Israel cease its war against the glorious liberation movement of Hamas.
Israel is losing international support due to its "indiscriminate bombing" of Gaza, US President Joe Biden said, issuing his most scathing critique of Israel since the start of the war and calling for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to switch out his coalition partners. "Israel's security can rest on the United States," Biden stated during a campaign event Tuesday, as he touted his government's strong support of Israel. Right now, however, Israel has wider support than just the US, Biden explained, as he pointed to the European Union and the international community which has also backed the Jewish state in the aftermath of Hamas' October 7 attack. If Israel will just stop doing everything within its power to hold Hamas accountable, Biden vows the US will do everything within its power to hold Hamas accountable. What? Biden also said he chastised Netanyahu about his "indiscriminate" bombing, and Netanyahu pointed out that the US had bombed Nazi Germany and dropped atom bombs on Japan. Biden conceded this but said that we set up "institutions" to stop this from ever happening again.
"But they're starting to lose that support by the indiscriminate bombing that takes place" in Gaza, Biden said, in a statement that implied Israel was needlessly targeting civilians. Speculation is high that Biden will ask Israel to constrain its military campaign to oust Hamas from Gaza as attention in Washington is redirected to the 2024 run for the White House within in a geo-political atmosphere of low Democratic support for the Gaza war. ... [Biden] has remained staunch in his support providing military and financial aid. The US will "do everything in our power to hold Hamas accountable -- every single thing in our power. They're animals. They exceeded anything that any other terrorist group has done," Biden said on Tuesday.
Biden alluded to a private conversation in which the Israeli leader said: "'You carpet bombed Germany, you dropped the atom bomb, a lot of civilians died.'"It was a mistake to go to war in Afghanistan? And Biden thinks we "carpet bombed" Germany?
Biden said he responded: "Yeah, that's why all these institutions were set up after World War Two to see to it that it didn't happen again ... don't make the same mistakes we made in 9/11. There's no reason why we had to be in a war in Afghanistan."
What a scholar. He's a doctor like his wife is. Well, I guess I'm being pedantic. We certainly did fire-bomb Germany industrial centers. But not "carpet-bomb." That's a different thing. He's old. And when he was young, his brain was still... how best to say... small and rotten and set on rape. In any event, Israel is not "indiscriminately" bombing. In fact, they're avoiding bombing as much as they can, putting troops in harm's way by going house to house when they could, if they wanted, just level the houses.
Netanyahu responded obliquely to Biden-- with contempt.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hit back at growing international calls for a ceasefire, insisting that "nothing" will stop his country's mission to destroy Hamas, the Palestinian terror group that attacked Israel on Oct. 7. Netanyahu struck the defiant note a day after the 193-nation U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to demand a ceasefire in Gaza, the densely populated and Hamas-ruled Palestinian enclave that has been the subject of near-relentless Israeli bombing for more than two months. More than 150 nations backed the resolution demanding a ceasefire, with 23 abstentions, and only 10 countries, including the U.S., voting against the call. But Netanyahu on Wednesday appeared unfazed by the vote, saying during a visit to a military detention facility in northern Israel that "we are continuing until the end, until victory, until the elimination of Hamas," according to the Times of Israel. "Nothing will stop us," he added.Israel also says the days of the "two-state solution" are over, which again puts them crosswise with Grampa Funnyfingers.
Another significant divide is emerging between the U.S. and Israel, with a senior Israeli diplomat saying the country "absolutely" would not accept a two-state solution following the war. This runs counter to long-standing U.S. policy objectives in the region, as well as recent Biden comments. Yesterday, a State Department spokesperson said "there can be no lasting peace and security" without a Palestinian state.
Israel has begun The Big Flush.
Israel has begun the process of flooding the network of tunnels beneath Gaza in an effort to flush out the impacted Hamas assets lodged there, according to U.S. officials who spoke to the Wall Street Journal. The Israeli military operation has so far involved the installation of seven massive pumps and testing the process of flooding the Hamas holes with water from the Mediterranean Sea, and now the great enema has begun in earnest.Supposedly -- and I do not know if this site is trustworthy and if it is, how good this tip is -- Qatar can't guarantee the safety of the Hamas leaders hiding out there in luxury any longer:
Israel War RoomYou know how Christiane Amanpour denies that Hamas has terrorist bases inside hospitals? Well somehow Israel forces are fought and defeated Hamas terrorists inside a hospital.
@IsraelWarRoom
#BREAKING: Initial reports suggests that top Hamas brass in Qatar have been told to leave for Algeria, as their security can no longer be guaranteed.
IDF troops from the 460th Combat Brigade of the 162nd Division operated in the Kamal Adwan Hospital area with the Shin Bet, with scores of Hamas terrorists being killed or detained. During the operation, the IDF troops located a building close to the hospital that was being used by Hamas terrorists. An exchange of fire took place, in which a number of Hamas terrorists were killed. Some 70 terrorists surrendered and left the building with their weapons and were detained and taken for interrogation by the Shin Bet. Kamal Adwan Hospital is in the Beit Lahiya area north of Gaza City, near the Israeli border. And now, with Hamas' terrorists being killed and captured and its ratholes being flushed like the toilets they are, Hamas say -- say, how about we reverse our decades old vow that we would never, ever recognize Israel as legitimate and real nation? How does that sound to you guys? Oh sure we will immediately repudiate that the recognition the moment you've withdrawn your troops, but we will recognize you as a state for about 35 hours if you just give us a ceasefire to let us regroup and hide the billions we collect from donations from other countries. The Hamas official had broached this possibility earlier today by the PLO's (also fake) recognition of the state of Israel, and saying that Hamas might consider following the PLO's path, if Israel gives them the ceasefire they crave.
I don't think Israel is going to buy that. And anyway, Hamas is already walking it back.
Earlier today, he told Al-Monitor, "You should follow the official stance... that the PLO [Palestine Liberation Organization] has recognized the state of Israel." Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh said yesterday that he is open to talks for ending the ongoing war and "putting the Palestinian house in order both in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip," potentially leading to a "political path that secures the right of the Palestinian people to their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
Senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk tries to walk back comments he made earlier, suggesting that his terror group could recognize Israel for the first time as a step toward Palestinian unity. Abu Marzouk tweets that there was a "misunderstanding of media statements." He asserts that "Hamas does not recognize the legitimacy of the Israeli occupation and does not accept giving up any of the rights of our Palestinian people. We affirm that the resistance will continue until liberation and return." "Several points and phrases mentioned in my interview with Al-Monitor were distorted and do not express my position and the position of the movement, which has not changed," he adds.

Oh, so it is possible to detect and prosecute leftwing political terrorists. They're not, as Christopher Wray tells me, "just an idea."
A Madison man charged with firebombing the North Side office of an anti-abortion group pleaded guilty Friday to attempted arson. Hridindu Roychowdhury, 29, now faces at least five years in prison when he is sentenced on Feb. 14 by U.S. District Judge William Conley. The maximum sentence he faces is 20 years, but he is unlikely to receive anything approaching that under advisory federal sentencing guidelines.Of course not! We must always consider the precious careers of leftwing terrorists! The dirty right-wing brawlers and "paraders," on the other hand, we will send to prison for 4-10 years because who fucking cares if their deplorable children starve.
So is the DOJ finally prioritizing the firebombing of pro-life pregnancy counseling centers? It would appear not. From this past October, a similarly-firebombed counseling center in New York has been forced to hire its own private investigators due to inattention and negligence from the DOJ and FBI.
Roychowdhury, who received a doctorate in biochemistry from UW-Madison, was charged on March 27 with the May 8, 2022, incident at Wisconsin Family Action, 2801 International Lane, near the Dane County Regional Airport. He was arrested after he bought a one-way ticket from Boston to Guatemala City set to depart on March 28. He was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport.
A New York pro-life pregnancy center that was seriously damaged in an arson attack in June 2022 and was subsequently vandalized again with pro-abortion graffiti in March, has filed a federal lawsuit against two "known pro-abortion activists." Two unnamed defendants are included in the Oct. 5 lawsuit and referred to as John Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 because authorities have yet to publicly identify the suspects. The suit alleges they were involved in the arson attack last year. Jim Harden, CEO of the pregnancy center and plaintiff CompassCare Pregnancy Services, said in a statement about the suit: "It is ridiculous that as pro-life citizens we are forced to do the job of both the FBI and DOJ." "The FBI refused to investigate so we hired private investigators. The DOJ refuses to indict, so we brought FACE charges," Harden said Oct. 10.This pregnancy counseling clinic believes they know they know who the perps are. The FBI and DOJ have not issued a statement clearing them. So the suspicion seems to be justified. Now, if these were J6ers, they would be deploying every dirty investigatory tool in the world to verify their exact location at the time of the crimes, including warrantless demands from cell-phone companies and Google and Apple for the suspects' geolocation data. But obviously, the FBI and DOJ have not bothered to do that. After all, these are just low-priority firebombers, not high-priority "paraders."

The Democrat war on gas continues. Now, Democrats propose jailing Washingtonians for using gas-powered landscaping tools like leaf blowers. State Representative Amy Walen (D-Kirkland) pre-filed legislation that makes sweeping additions to the Washington State Clean Air Act. HB 1868 bans “gasoline-powered and diesel-powered landscaping and other outdoor power equipment” for “contributing to climate change.” The bill lists a number of unintended health consequences tied to the tools, as well, including the claim that they cause asthma. The bill gets to the ban by empowering the Department of Ecology to “adopt rules to prohibit engine exhaust and evaporative emissions from new outdoor power equipment” by either January 1, 2026 or sooner, if the state determines it’s feasible to do so earlier. Washingtonians are expected to upgrade their equipment to zero-emission alternatives. Government work, however, is partly exempt.
That government work will be to save government employees during natural disasters, and to repair infrastructure after fires and earthquakes and such. Because the obvious yet unspoken reality is that there is absolutely nothing like gasoline-powered tools to get things done quickly and safely. Are government firemen going to use battery-powered saws during forest fires? Yeah...I doubt it. It's amazing that the text of the law implicitly recognizes the superiority of the outlawed tools, yet the worship of Gaiaiaia at the expensive of human progress is paramount.
Violating this law could mean up to 365 days in jail or a significant fine. That's my favorite part. Washington voted for these maniacs, so give it to them good and hard. But don't worry, they won't be jailing wetbacks using power tools to manicure lawns in the nice parts of town; they'll be nabbing some farmer using a gas-powered chain saw to clear his land. Because leftists are nothing if not perfect at selective enforcement of their laws in service of the larger goal of the destruction of traditional America.

“They got nothing else to do. There is literally no legislative program. They just want to cut off the people of Ukraine. They are not interested in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine or to people in Gaza or to helping people in Israel, none of it. they are not interested in any of it it’s all about getting that much from back into power. So, I agree with you, I am surprised to, because their investigation is so patently fraudulent and merit-less, but they don’t care.” . . . Raskin added, “They’re voting for and impeachment inquiry for an event that can be defined. It’s making a mockery out of the Constitution.”The absolute gall of this worthless degenerate scumbag is just off the charts. He, his entire party and far too many in the Potemkin opposition known as the GOP completely trashed the Constitution and eviscerated any sense of decorum, morality and ethics in the attempt to destroy Donald Trump, his presidency and personal legacy. And the reason for that is to protect their hold on what is in essence a dictatorship that they control to greater or lesser degrees. That means, you and me shackled to one another, being whipped into rowing through a sea of treacle in a very leaky galleon. If it's hypocrisy and projection that are the overarching themes of our current political landscape, then let's be crystal clear: Whatever you personally feel about Donald Trump, there is no doubt that he is arguably the most honest and clean individual to have been elected president, if not any other office in recent American history if not all time. He has also been the most positively consequential president in a century. Absolutely everything Donald Trump is being persecuted for, it is Joe Biden, his son, everyone in his orbit as well as the Clintons and Obamas and all their acolytes that are guilty of. And more. As for Jamie Raskin, for perhaps the only time in my life, I'm rooting for cancer. Evil is evil and I'm not going to hold back. In any case, Hunter Biden is not only guilty of contempt of Congress, but the idiot crackhead scumbag might actually have implicated his degenerate father of the crimes they all claim to be innocent.
Hunter Biden showed he has his father’s chutzpah Wednesday when he blew off a congressional subpoena to hold a woe-is-me press conference on Capitol Hill. “I’m here. I’m ready,” he said, and then swept away in his motorcade without answering a single question. Like father, like son. Of course, there’s nothing bold or brave about inviting a contempt charge from Congress when you have Daddy’s pardon power in your back pocket. Hunter could have taken his entourage over to the House hearing room where Oversight Chairman James Comer was waiting for him to testify — and simply pleaded the Fifth, to avoid complicating his twin indictments on tax and gun charges. Instead, he chose a cocky public-relations strategy to manipulate the public narrative by painting himself as an object of pity and playing on the kind hearts of the American people, a cynical artform his father has employed to great effect throughout his political career. “MAGA Republicans ridiculed my struggle with addiction. They belittled my recovery and they have tried to dehumanize me, all to embarrass and damage my father who has devoted his entire life to service,” Hunter said. That’s the art. But from Daddy’s point of view, the most important line in Hunter’s five-minute oration was his double denial of the president’s role in his family’s shady influence-peddling scheme in corrupt and adversarial countries where, as VP, he was point man for the Obama administration. “There’s no evidence to support the allegations that my father was financially involved in my business,” said Hunter. And: “My father was not financially involved in my business.” Joe Biden was ”not financially involved” is a significant shifting of the goal posts. It is a carefully parsed, legalistic phrase, that looks as if it has been workshopped to death in a campaign war room before being dropped into Hunter’s soup of self-pity. That is the message from the White House, delivered by a hostage who needs Daddy’s pardon to stay out of jail. It bears no relation to all the [fake] president’s previous denials. Joe Biden has gone from years of saying: “I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period” to this summer’s line from the White House: “The president was never in business with his son” — and now to this latest transmutation: Joe “was not financially involved in [Hunter’s] business.” That’s quite an admission, right there, that the mountains of evidence produced by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler and the parade of credible witnesses and bank records assembled by Comer and colleagues have become impossible to deny. Not that Biden and his White House gaslighters will ever stop denying the undeniable. Unfortunately for the Bidens, just hours before Hunter’s press conference, the transcript of the latest testimony of Ziegler and Shapley was published by the House Ways and Means Committee. You can read the rest of Miranda Devine's story where she goes into detail about how the two whistleblowers completely destroy Democrats who attempted to both smear them and claim there was zero evidence implicating Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants in anything illegal. They had mountains of it and were erudite and thorough in showing it. Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, in the mirror universe where the entire criminal justice system is focused like Goldfinger's laser on 007's inseam to destroy Donald Trump with absolutely ZERO evidence, of all people hack-in-black Judge Tanya Chutkan might have thrown a big monkey wrench into DA Jack Smith's attempt to totally sabotage Trump's 2024 campaign, which could potentially lead to his imprisonment.
Obama-appointed District Judge Tanya Chutkan paused former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election trial schedule while the appeal for his presidential immunity claim is pending. In early December, Chutkan rejected Trump’s bid to have his case dismissed based on presidential immunity, prompting Trump to appeal to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Chutkan agreed Wednesday to pause pre-trial deadlines and further proceedings pending the appeals court’s decision. The pause could throw Special Councel Jack Smith’s targeted March 4 trial date into jeopardy and increase the chance that the former president is not put on trial until after the November 2024 presidential election. Smith asked the Supreme Court to take up the presidential immunity question Monday before the D.C. Circuit reaches a decision. The Supreme Court agreed to expedite its consideration of his petition, asking Trump’s attorneys to weigh in by Dec. 20. . . “If jurisdiction is returned to this court, it will—consistent with its duty to ensure both a speedy trial and fairness for all parties—consider at that time whether to retain or continue the dates of any still-future deadlines and proceedings, including the trial scheduled for March 4, 2024,” Chutkan wrote. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung called Chutkan’s decision to stay proceedings in the case a “big win” for the former president. “This is a big win for President Trump and our rule of law, as it derails Deranged Jack Smith’s rush to judgment strategy of interfering in the 2024 Presidential Election in support of Joe Bdien’s campaign,” Cheung said. “They waited almost three years to bring this hoax ‘case’ and are now desperately trying, and failing, to rush it because they know President Trump is dominating the election.”Smith is literally trying to destroy established legal precedent in stripping presidents of immunity for actions whilst in office. As stated, presidents are not (in theory) above the law and ultimately can face the music for crimes once out of office. But, for the umpteenth freaking time, Donald Trump committed no crime on 1/6/21 or on any other day in office. All he did was use his first amendment rights to protest an election which he believed to be stolen. He did not incite violence, nor call for insurrection. Nor was he anywhere near the Capitol Building when the FBI/DOJ/Capitol PD/Pelosi-engineered false flag op created whatever violence and chaos that occurred. And on that note, another case has even bigger implications for Trump and the J6 political prisoners still rotting away in the Garland Archipelago:
The defendant, Joseph Fischer, was indicted on seven charges after January 6, but the charge in question is a count under a provision enacted after the Enron scandal for anyone who “corruptly … obstructs, influences and impedes any official proceeding,” known as 18 U.S.C. 1512. Trump’s allies argue that the provision was clearly intended to cover the destruction of evidence related to white-collar crime and that the Supreme Court’s decision to examine this issue is bad news for U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith and the government’s broad interpretation of the statute. “Today was a bad day for Jack Smith, and a good day for the rule of law,” former U.S. Ambassador Ken Blackwell exclusively told Breitbart News. Prosecutors say Fischer assaulted the police to disrupt the congressional certification of the results of the 2020 election and that his actions fit under 18 U.S.C. 1512. Although Trump is not part of Fisher’s case, the statute is a central piece of Smith’s criminal prosecution of the former president. That trial is scheduled to begin March 4, 2024, but the Supreme Court’s ruling on this issue could delay that start date. If it rules that Fisher cannot be charged for obstructing an official proceeding, Smith’s case against Trump could be significantly handicapped. “The criminal law at issue here is the heart of Jack Smith’s prosecution of President Trump,” said Blackwell. “Biden’s Justice Department now must try justifying pursuing President Trump. The result should be that the courts will hold that this statute does not apply to these facts. This is a power grab where those in power are desperately attempting to jail Biden’s leading 2024 rival.” Judge Greg Katsas of the D.C. Circuit appeals court dissented from the appellate decision, holding that Section 1512 applies here, indicating that the statute used by Smith has never been used for this purpose because it was not intended to be used in such a manner. “Section 1512(c)(2) has been on the books for two decades and charged in thousands of cases—yet until the prosecutions arising from the January 6 riot, it was uniformly treated as an evidence-impairment crime,” he wrote. “This settled understanding is a ‘powerful indication’ against the government’s novel position.”This is all encouraging news, but as we have sadly learned the hard way, we shouldn't get our hopes up. Not with a dodgy at best Supreme Court and certainly not with a totally corrupt DC court system, to say nothing of a government and political class that is completely bereft of morals, ethics and common sense. The fact that Donald Trump is even on trial for this, along with the complete bullshit charges of Fanni Willis, Alvin Bragg and the unrelated yet totally fabricated case against Trump's real estate empire by Letitia James is in and of itself an indicator that we are a banana republic. The powers that be will stop at nothing. And that means taking Trump out physically. I try to be as optimistic as possible but in the face of everything we have witnessed, you have to be a realist. Still, it is amazing nevertheless that with every charge and accusation hurled at Trump, his popularity jumps in the polls. Not just with the base but even in places like the black community that have been in the Democrats' pocket for 60 years. If Trump is kneecapped, or worse, finds himself in a prison cell, we're now talking potentially about a black swan event with huge implications. There are some of you I know who don't think anything that radical as mass protest on the part of the American people will happen. And your position is not without merit. Still, there is anger out there. And it is bubbling up.
We’re finding out in Chicago where blacks are increasingly dismayed by the city giving illegal aliens resources that once went to the black community. And in a city plagued by crime, it turns out that at least some blacks prefer the familiar black criminals as opposed to the new illegal alien criminals. News broke yesterday that the president of the Illinois NAACP got in trouble because she called illegal aliens rapists, robbers, and even “savages”:First off, though this woman's referring to illegals as "savages" at first glance is vulgar, there is a not insignificant element of truth to this. Lest we forget, a very large proportion if not the majority of violent crimes committed in the US are now committed by illegal aliens. And while most illegals aren't violent criminals, the fact remains that 100% of them, once they set foot on our soil without permission are criminals by virtue of that action alone. In any case here's the link with a shock poll showing Trump has nearly doubled his support from blacks over what he had in 2020. And if I remember correctly, he had increased black support from his first victory in 2016 and more than any other GOP candidate ever. Ditto the Latino bloc.In a recent Zoom call meeting with NAACP leaders from around the state, [Teresa] Haley answered a question from a participant. That’s when she began talking about all the migrants coming to Chicago, saying how they are living on the streets, and that Black people have been in similar predicaments for a long time, and no one cares. “But, these immigrants have come over here, they’ve been raping people, they’ve been breaking into homes. They’re like savages as well. They don’t speak the language, and they look at us like we were crazy,” Haley said. What Haley discovered after saying this is that, while blacks are untouchable if they insult whites, Jews, Asians, and LGBTQ+ people, there’s a new, more important victim group in town, and that would be Hispanics. Practically within seconds of word getting out about Haley’s statement, people were demanding that she step down:Gov. JB Pritzker denounced those comments on Tuesday. “Reprehensible remarks, I would hope that she would apologize for the remarks. I also think that people should recognize that immigrants to this country are all around us,” Pritzker saidIt’s important to note here that Pritzker did not demand that Harvard president Claudine Gay step down after saying that calling for the mass murder of Jews wasn’t harassment unless it got…you know, really, really bad. But in America in 2023, a black woman cannot insult Hispanic illegal aliens. This makes perfect political sense. Blacks are declining as a percentage of the population. In 1790, they were 19.3% of the population. By the time of the Civil War, that had declined to 14.1%. After the Civil War, when America had its huge immigration boom, their representation in the population declined to a low of 9.7%. When the United States shut its doors on mass immigration, the black population began to grow again. Immediately after WWII, blacks were part of the baby boom. However, beginning in the 1960s, with birth control, and the 1970s, with abortion, the black population’s growth slowed tremendously. In 2020, they were only 12.4% of the American population.Meanwhile, Hispanics have been exploding as a percentage of the American population. In 2011, Hispanics were 16.7% of the population. By 2020, the population had grown by 23% in just a decade, making Hispanics the largest non-white racial group in America. And of course, that doesn’t count the millions who have come into America illegally on Biden’s watch. The bottom line is that, as people like Haley are discovering, blacks may still be favored in academia but, when it comes to pure politics, they’ve been pushed aside in favor of a larger voting bloc. This was inevitable. When your politics are about fighting over the spoils rather than improving the country for all, it’s going to get ugly when the spoils diminish and another, bigger victim group wants its piece of the pie.
While this is good news, as the estimable Andrea Widburg states, the root cause of anger is the perception, and rightly so, by blacks that Uncle Sugar is passing them by when it comes to the bennies. What black America is not realizing is that it's their party, the Democrat Party, and the Leftist movement that has fucked them over for generations since before the Civil War and afterwards up to the present day. Their policies and keeping them in political chains has resulted in essence to their, dare I say it, "genocide" – a genocide that has been blamed on capitalism, whites and America as founded. A smart politician can and must use this as the wedge to cleave black America from the Left once and for all. Trump got closer than anyone back in 2016 when he told them straight up "What have you got to lose by voting for me?" The result was more blacks and other minorities off the dole and working at good jobs than ever before. They saw it. Hopefully they see it now. Joey's destruction should make it crystal clear, especially to them. "Inshalla."
