THE MORNING RANT: Transgender Role Models vs Anorexic Role Models; Bari Weiss’ Definition of Wokeness

Good morning. With Christmas weekend upon us and an overcrowded calendar, I am going to take a shortcut today and simply link two items I recently read that brilliantly capture a couple of the cultural malignancies of this era: Wokeness and the Transgender Social Contagion.

1) Bari Weiss Defines and Battles Wokeness

When Ms. Weiss is discussed, many people on the right like to point out that she is not a traditional God-and-guns conservative. Maybe not, but she is a gay, Jewish liberal who has been mugged by reality, and who bravely left an elite position at the NY Times to do battle against the woke insanity. Being a defector from the left, she is a target of the woke mob’s fury, so I admire her bravery and the success she is having.

In this piece calling for the end of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”, she has given the best summation I have read of what wokeness is, which includes all its pseudonyms and tentacles such as “Social Justice,” “Anti-Racism,” “Progressivism,” “Critical Race Theory,” etc.

What I saw was a worldview that replaced basic ideas of good and evil with a new rubric: the powerless (good) and the powerful (bad). It replaced lots of things. Color blindness with race obsession. Ideas with identity. Debate with denunciation. Persuasion with public shaming. The rule of law with the fury of the mob.

People were to be given authority in this new order not in recognition of their gifts, hard work, accomplishments, or contributions to society, but in inverse proportion to the disadvantages their group had suffered, as defined by radical ideologues.

During the 2022 elections, one of the media’s favorite gotcha questions for Republican candidates was to define “wokeness” if the candidate was campaigning against the woke agenda. Ms. Weiss nailed the definition of wokeness with that description.

There’s plenty more at the link, which I’d encourage you to read. Near her conclusion she states:

It is time to end DEI for good. No more standing by as people are encouraged to segregate themselves. No more forced declarations that you will prioritize identity over excellence. No more compelled speech. No more going along with little lies for the sake of being polite.

“No more going along with little lies for the sake of being polite.” This is so critical, and it doesn’t just apply to wokeness. We could have stopped the climate cult’s suicidal agenda a long time ago if we had stopped politely respecting their intentions to “save” the environment.

Ms. Weiss is speaking on behalf of her fellow Jews with this final quote, but it applies to everyone:

We will persist, one way or another. But DEI is undermining America, and that for which it stands—including the principles that have made it a place of unparalleled opportunity, safety, and freedom for so many. Fighting it is the least we owe this country.

2) The Transgender Social Contagion

This was written by Mia Carpenter of Environmental Progress (Michael Shellenberger’s right-of-center policy outfit) pointing out the similarity between the transgender social contagion and others like it over the past 50 years.

Karen Carpenter's tragic battle triggered a social contagion of anorexia; Princess Diana's public struggle with bulimia had the same effect.

The book Sybil kicked off the multiple personality disorder epidemic in the 80s. Running parallel to that was the Satanic Panic, set off by the book Michelle Remembers. As a result, thousands of lives were destroyed.

As cutting started to appear in movies and TV shows, the number of teens self-harming increased, and when TikTok influencers with Tourette's launched to fame, adolescent girls began experiencing TikTok tics.

Mental illnesses are inextricably entwined with the cultural fads and whims of the era in which they arise. Our celebration of the likes of Jazz Jennings and Ellen Page captures the minds of young people, plants the dangerous idea that the discomfort and anguish of puberty can be miraculously solved with drugs and surgeries, sending many down the same devastating path to destruction.

Children and adolescents no more need trans role models than they do anorexic or bulimic role models. Every time we celebrate a celebrity coming out as trans, we sacrifice countless young people to the horror of this medical atrocity.

The Morning Report — 12/22/23

Good morning, kids. Here's an editorial about the Colorado Supreme Court debasement that unfortunately did not appear in any American media house organ.

“The attitudes of both parties further reflect the rottenness of American politics, and that the law now seems to be exerted as a political weapon."

It's actually from The Global Times, which is an official paper of the Chinese Communist Party. Revolting and evil as the source, given everything we've experienced these past three years and longer, I'd be lying to you if I said I disagreed with it. The context and intention of the authors notwithstanding.

And "context" is yet again the gravamen of today's discourse. Yesterday, I meant to weave this little nugget into my editorial but as is my wont I tend to get sidetracked and go off on a tangent, especially given the time crunch in getting this published as quickly as possible. Chris Coons (whose name is incredibly racist and offensive, NAACP, Sharpton, et al), yet another bald-headed stooge that resembles a diseased testicle, belched this garbage up regarding Colorado:

“Whether it is a court that determines he’s unfit to hold office because he took up force against our Constitution or mobilized a mob against our Constitution, or because the electorate throws him out, I don’t think it really matters. If he’s unfit to hold office we should all be encouraged by any action that makes it less likely that he will return to the presidency.”

"Any action," Coons? Aside from the fact that your version of the events of January 6th bears absolutely zero resemblance to reality, should Trump actually overcome these legal persecutions and the fraud machine come Election Day, I mean Election Season, I assume you are completely comfortable with an actual insurrection or military coup to prevent his swearing in. To hell with that, I assume you are completely comfortable with having Capitol PD cop Michael Byrd putting a Glock to Trump's head and squeezing off a round or 10? I'm no William Shakespeare, but I believe all of those things unambiguously fall into the category of "any action" in this context.

"Context." A word pregnant with meaning, whether it's the deflector shield around subpar, unqualified, affirmative action plagiarist stooge Claudine Gay, or of course as an H-bomb against Donald Trump himself over his legal actions and first amendment rights to protest the results of the stolen 2020 election and the FBI/Pelosi false flag op that was J-6, and every other word that has come out of his mouth since he descended the Trump Tower escalator in the summer of 2015.

Here's the latest attack, and man it's a doozy:

Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance gave a passionate response Tuesday after an Associated Press (AP) reporter asked the freshman Senator about former President Donald Trump’s comments on illegal immigrants.

Trump said illegal immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country” during a December speech, prompting left-wing commentators to condemn the comments as “racist” and “fascist.”

“What do you have to say to the former President’s comments over the weekend about immigrants and saying that they’re ‘poisoning the blood of America?'” a reporter asked.

“Well look. I’ve been asked this question a number of times, and here’s my view on these comments. First of all, he didn’t say immigrants were poisoning the blood of this country. He said illegal immigrants were poisoning the blood of the country, which is objectively and obviously true to anybody who looks at the statistics about fentanyl overdoses, and I think just one observation about the press as an organization: you guys seem far more upset about the guy who criticized the problem than you did about Joe Biden who’s causing the problem.”

. . . “I think this is ridiculous,” Vance said. “If you watch the speech in context and you look at what’s going on, it is obvious that he was talking about the very clear fact that the blood of Americans is being poisoned by a drug epidemic. To take that comment and then to immediately assume that he’s talking about immigrants as Adolf Hitler talked about Jews is preposterous!”

“You guys need to wake up and actually do some journalism,” Vance continued. “Here’s the problem with that question and that framing: you are allegedly a journalist. You’re supposed to speak truth to power, and yet you’re trying to circumscribe and narrow the limits of debate on immigration in this country. What you’re doing is not speaking truth to power. You’re trying to police the guy who’s criticizing the problem so that Americans don’t pay attention to the guy who caused the problem. It’s an absurd question. It’s an absurd framing.”

J.D. Vance hits a couple of nails on the head right there. The border has been intentionally destroyed by Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and Chris Coons' scrotum-mate DHS apparatchik Mayorkas. Aside from rapists, murderers, fentanyl, Islami-kazes, Chi-Com males and dirt-poor peasants with no desire to assimilate but ready to take our tax dollars and vote Democrat for life, here's the cherry on the parfait:

Last month the CDC revealed that the number of babies born with syphilis had increased tenfold. The Centers for Disease Control blamed this on racism and inequity.

But the real issue isn’t racism even though the syphilis epidemic does affect minorities far more than white people. The number of babies born with ‘congenital syphilis’ did not rise from 365 in 1986, 529 in 2000 to 2,855 in 2021 because America was more racist in 2021 than in 1986.

In 2022, congenital syphilis shot up further to 3,700 resulting in 51 deaths and 231 stillbirths. Was America ten times more racist in 2022 than it had been in the eighties?

The federal health bureaucracy has put its top people on this medical mystery, dispatching Admiral Rick ‘Rachel’ Levine, a man whose claims to really be a woman rewarded him with an admiralship and a top health position in the Biden administration, to Georgia to promote a “sex positive harm reduction framework” and “LGBTQI+ health concerns”. What those concerns had to do with babies being born with syphilis to presumably heterosexual mothers was not addressed, but equity, if not the babies, were serviced by the transgender fake admiral. . .

. . . 70% of the population now lives in counties with high syphilis rates. Not only have we not defeated syphilis, but the country is seeing the highest rates in 80 years. It’s another triumph for the Biden [junta] which saw syphilis cases rise 26% in its first year. It’s a long way from the 90s when the CDC could optimistically argue that eliminating it was possible because “nationally, it is at the lowest rate ever recorded and it is confined to a very limited number of geographic areas.” It’s an accomplishment worse than Bidenomics.

What possible phenomenon could account for a massive increase in such a short time? . . .

. . . Who knows why the massive outbreak in congenital syphilis cases was clustered around border states during the same period when a mass migration of illegal aliens was underway. You don’t have to be a public health expert to solve this one. It actually helps if you’re not. . . Despite all the funding allocated to testing and community outreach, all of which were supposed to solve “health inequities”, congenital syphilis rates tend to reflect overall syphilis rates, and syphilis rates reflect social stability.

Import millions of illegal alien migrants, most of them young men, and syphilis rates will spike.

. . . In times of social upheaval, such as war, STD rates climb. Our current syphilis rates echo those of former eras such as the Great Depression or WWII when millions of men were displaced from home. The current syphilis spike isn’t caused by a war, or if it’s a war, it’s one that we’re losing. The syphilis rates are the result of an invasion by millions of military age men. And the women brought along from south of the border or around the world. Some of the highest rates of previous syphilis exposure among pregnant women were found in high migrant countries like Venezuela and Haiti.

We don’t have to have crazy rates of a disease that, especially in newborns, could have been dealt with long ago. The cure was securing the border so millions of migrants couldn’t cross it. . .

. . . The issue is not that we don’t talk about sex; it’s that we don’t talk about family or the culture of nations. There is no stigma in talking about sex, but there is a stigma in talking about values or border security. The American family has gone on falling apart. Babies, killed in the womb or born with syphilis, are the collateral damage of a disastrous culture war. Flood the country with a mass invasion of people from failed states and the situation will get worse, not better.

Daniel Greenfield takes an otherwise obscure, yet nonetheless frightening and enraging health statistic and perfectly encapsulates the societal breakdown – completely intentional on the part of the Democrat-Left – that has been mercilessly unleashed upon us. All because of a will to power.

Donald Trump is 100% right when he states "ILLEGAL immigrants are poisoning the blood of our nation." Because they absolutely are, both figuratively and as we see here quite literally. And not just infant syphilis, but TB, measles, polio, leprosy and a host of third world pre-modern-medicine diseases and plagues that we had thought long ago wiped out in this country. Yet there is no more "this country." Not as we had known it.

But of course, Trump is "literally Hitler." And the closer November '24 gets, the darker and bushier the mustache will be painted under his nose.

[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign accused former President Donald Trump of “parroting” Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, likening statements of the two in a highly inflammatory social media post Wednesday featuring images of both side by side.

The official Biden-Harris rapid response X (formerly Twitter) account posted the graphic, which compares statements of Hitler with Trump’s, along with the caption “Trump parrots Hitler.” “This is not a coincidence,” the account wrote.

The previous day, Biden claimed the rhetoric Trump uses “reminds us of the language coming out of Germany in the ‘30s.” Hours earlier, attorney-author Mike Godwin, who coined “Godwin’s Law,” asserted that it is perfectly okay to compare the former president to the Nazi leader. On Monday, historian Douglas Brinkley said Trump “has been dabbling in Adolf Hitler his whole life.”

Meanwhile, twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton fueled fears that Trump will act as a “dictator” if he succeeds in defeating [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden to take the White House in 2025.

On December 14, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the former president was “echoing” Hitler; and last month, MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill said Trump was “even more dangerous” than both Mussolini and Hitler.

There isn't a font large enough to write the words PROJECT MUCH?! big enough. They've been doing this for years and the result has been beatings, riots, violent protests, attempted assassinations of political figures and Supreme Court justices, and actual murders of those whom the Left have labeled as "racist," "homophobic," "white supremacist" etc. etc.

So when Chris Coons states "any action" is acceptable to prevent Trump from becoming president, given all of the above, we should take him at his word because I can guaran-damn-tee you that somebody will. And with half the country if not aligned with Trump as a candidate but for sure against the Democrat-Left, that is a target-rich environment. And not just for the BLM/Antifa black-clad brownshirt goon squads, but for the DOJ, FBI, IRS, and all the other Reichsministeriums as well as the crony-fascist "private sector" aligned with them. Put that in your crack pipe, Godwin, and smoke it. Meh, shove it up your ass until it comes out your nose.

Rudy Giuliani files for bankruptcy after being politically punished by a jury for suggesting that there was fraud in the election.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday in the wake of a $148 million civil court ruling and a mountain of unpaid legal bills.

Giuliani, 79, who was once hailed as "America's Mayor," indicated he had debts of up to $500 million with assets of only up to $10 million in the Manhattan federal court filing.

He estimates he currently owes $153 million -- an amount that will likely balloon due to several other pending lawsuits and when millions of dollars in pending legal bills are factored in, according to the court document.

This cannot go on. As I keep saying, blue jurisdictions cannot be allowed to prey on travelers from the hinterlands with these absurd criminal persecutions and mega-jackpot penalties for not being a progressive leftwing Democrat. WE ARE NOT A PREY SPECIES FOR THE PREDATORY, LUNATIC LEFT.

Courts will have to change venues in politically sensitive cases -- and if courts won't allow it, the federal government will have to make them.

A legal complaint has been filed against Katrina Jumanji Brown, alleging that she failed to report her husband's income, on her required financial disclosures.

She is also alleged to have hidden private contributions to her "investiture" ceremony, a party thrown when she was made Chief Diversity Justice. Private money funding a narcissistic celebration of her could be cause for conflict of interest, and of a requirement that she recuse herself in cases involving those benefactors.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is being accused in an ethics complaint of failing to disclose full information about her husband's income and not revealing private contributions that were made for the Library of Congress event celebrating her investiture into the high court.

The complaint, made through the Center for Renewing America, a conservative think tank, was addressed in a letter to Roslynn Mauskopf, head of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts and claims that the financial disclosure matters are violations of federal law and could cause Jackson, a nominee last year of President Joe Biden, recusal issues in the future.

The letter, written by think tank President Russell Vought, who served as director of the Office of Management and Budget under former President Donald Trump, alleges that Jackson "has demonstrated a disturbing trend of not reporting material sources of income and gifts."

It called on the conference to refer the justice to Attorney General Merrick Garland "for her failure to disclose her husband's consulting income and open an investigation into the potential private funding of her investiture celebration."

Dan Crenshaw has filed a bill to prohibit "DEI oaths" -- political oaths swearing allegiance to the DEI regime -- at colleges.

A Texas congressman has introduced legislation to quell diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statements at American universities by prohibiting "ideological oaths and similar statements" on college campuses.

The bill from Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX-2) would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 by adding that a university cannot require an employee to "endorse an ideology that promotes the differential treatment of an individual or group of individuals based on race, color, or ethnicity[.]"

The legislation would also prohibit universities from compelling employees to provide DEI statements.

A former Trump official confirms your suspicions: The Fed's rate cuts in the face of inflation are designed to "juice" the economy for Biden for the 2024 election.

A former Trump administration official predicted the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates in 2024 to "juice the economy" before the election.

The Federal Reserve kept interest rates steady Wednesday, but signaled that rates could be lowered in 2024, despite inflation still being relatively high. "They will juice the economy in an election year by giving us rate cuts for Joe Biden," Kevin Hassett, who chaired the Council of Economic Advisors for President Donald Trump, told Fox Business host Larry Kudlow.

"They played their hand and they played it early," Hassett added.

Finally, proof has emerged that Don LeMon's "black hole capture" theory about the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines 370. Part of the plane has been found here, right on planet earth, where most of Don LeMon's sexual assault victims reside.

A veteran fisherman claims he found a large piece of missing Malaysia Airlines plane MH370 off the coast of South Australia before being ignored by authorities.

The plane disappeared on March 8, 2014, with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board, with no sign of the missing wreckage despite the most expensive ocean search in history.

Retired Australian fisherman Kit Olver has come forward with claims that he discovered what he believes is a wing of the commercial liner when his deep-sea trawler pulled it up in September or October of 2014, just months after the flight disappeared.

He described it as a “bloody great wing of a big jet airliner” that was bigger than a private plane.

No word about the disappearance of Don LeMon's career, however. Where has he gone? Like MH370, he has really disappeared from the earth into a black hole. I googled news about the vulgar sexual assailant, and Google only has news about his firing from CNN, and one story from June about him agreeing to do an interview with the company that fired him, CNN. (No idea if that ever happened.)

He's not even on NewsNet or whatever? Where all the fired anchors go? They even jumped to hire Chris Cuomo. But they just had no use for a colossal non-talent like LeMon.

The Democrat Socialists of America Have Infiltrated and Taken Over K-12 Education

Yes, of course.

The Long March Through the Institutions continues, and we're all too afraid to stop them.

Members of the Democratic Socialists of America have quietly gained leadership posts in K-12 education to push anti-capitalist and anti-Israel views on youngsters across the US, according to a parental rights watchdog group.

Parents Defending Education, a grassroots organization that backs the "restoration" of non-political schooling, has identified dozens of DSA members who have landed or sought top school board and teachers union positions in at least 15 states -- from California to Kentucky and from New York to Texas.

"The Democratic Socialists of America, or DSA, has long had the goal of using the K-12 system as a way to proselytize to a captive audience of other people's children," Parents Defending Education outreach director Erika Sanzi told The Post.

"Their anti-Jewish and anti-Israel messages in the K-12 context are not at all new but many more people have become aware of them since October 7th," she added. "The DSA is poison in schools."

The DSA became infamous after boosting a hate-filled pro-Palestinian rally in Times Square a day after Hamas' Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel, which killed an estimated 1,200 people -- including 33 Americans.

Over the past decade, at least 26 DSA members have either won or sought school board posts -- and at least six of those have held leadership positions, according to Parents Defending Education, which notes that its list is not "exhaustive."

"[DSA members] advocate for dismantling capitalism, pushing for the Green New Deal, defunding law enforcement, implementing critical race theory, and supporting minors seeking gender surgery without their parents' consent. Their goal is to push these topics on children as young as 5 years old," the report says.

In Colorado, teacher and DSA member Bryan Lindstrom submitted a resolution to the Colorado Education Association, the largest union of educators in the state....

In June 2021, Lindstrom ripped conservative uproar over the teaching of critical race theory, calling it "the new Red Scare" and vowing to espouse such teachings in his classroom.

"I'm going on record now," he wrote. "At the end of the day, it's just my students and me in our classroom and we will be discussing race, class, and gender in my history classes, regardless of what laws and policies people want to pass. Critical race theory is a component of everything I do."

The Long March Through the Institutions has succeeded in brainwashing the feral younger generations: half of them want Israel "ended" and turned over to the terrorists of Hamas.

Fifty-one percent of voters aged 18-24 prefer Israel to be "ended" and turned over to the terror group and the Palestinians, according to a poll of 2,034 registered voters from Harvard University and the Harris Poll. That was compared with 32 percent who wanted a two-state solution and 17 percent who wanted surrounding Arab states to "absorb the Palestinians." Additionally, 67 percent of voters in that age group favored an unconditional ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war without any requirement that all hostages be released or Hamas give up power.

Sixty-six percent of young voters in the poll said they believed Hamas's Oct. 7 attacks were "genocidal in nature," and 58 percent said Hamas would like to commit genocide against Israeli Jews. Sixty percent, however, said Hamas's Oct. 7 attack that killed 1,200 Israelis "can be justified by the grievances of Palestinians." Young voters were also split down the middle in terms of whether they supported Israel or Hamas in the war.

So the atrocities perpetrated against Jews were in fact "genocidal," but nevertheless "justified" based on the Racial Ranking Ideology favored by the young. Hmm, I seem to remember a political movement in central Europe with a very similar program.

Even the Washington Post Calls for the Supreme Court to Repudiate the Lawless Colorado Decision

Even the Washington Post is calling on the Supreme Court to reverse the Colorado Supreme Court's lawless election interference.

As Justice Samour points out in his dissent, however, what's missing from the majority's analysis is due process of law. Not only has Mr. Trump not been convicted of insurrection either by a jury of his peers or from the bench by a judge; he hasn't even been charged with it. Tellingly, Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith has brought an aggressive case against the former president for conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding and more -- but not for violating the federal law against insurrection. The penalties for that, by the way, include disqualification from "any office under the United States."

The Post also notes that any other state court could strike Biden and Harris from the ballot for their support of BLM, which was much more of an insurrectionary movement than a four-hour riot.

Disqualifying a candidate based on an accusation, albeit one blessed by a state court judge as in the Colorado case -- but not an actual conviction -- is dangerous. What's to stop a Republican politician from seeking to bar his Democratic opponent because the opponent attended Black Lives Matter protests, claiming that those protests, some of them nominally in service of abolishing the police, qualify as insurrection?

Instapundit says the "elites" are playing a game of "civilizational jenga," pulling out one strut keeping the tower standing after another.

What makes me sad now is the ongoing game of Civilizational Jenga that our ruling class is playing. One by one, they're withdrawing the supports of civil society, in a process that will inevitably lead to a collapse. They're taking what was a very robust society, and consuming all the safety margins, bit by bit.

What really makes me sad is that while some of the people involved -- let's call them "the morons" for convenience's sake -- are doing this out of shortsightedness, cupidity, or sheer partisan bloodthirstiness, I'm increasingly convinced that there's a contingent at the top that knows exactly what it's doing, and is fine with it.

"This is the same old trick," Trump said when he got the news that the Colorado Supreme Court voted 4-3 to keep him off the primary ballot for the 2024 presidential election.

Oops. Sorry. I got my papers mixed up. That was actually Abraham Lincoln in 1860 when he got the news that some Southern states had voted to keep him off the ballot. Eventually 10 states did so.

So here we are again. It's a bit like that Army Major in the Vietnam war who explained that they had to destroy a village in order to save it. Just so, the virtuous people of Colorado have decided that in order to save democracy they need to destroy it.

In fact, what they have just voted to preserve is not democracy but "Our Democracy (TM)." Here's the difference. In a democracy, people get to vote for the candidate they prefer. In "Our Democracy™," only approved candidates get to compete.

Donald Trump is the opposite of an approved candidate. The untrammeled hermeneutical ingenuity of the American legal profession had be let loose against Trump. As I write, he faces huge legal battle in four states. . . .

Trump is guilty not because of anything he has done but because of who he is. He is an enemy, not of the state, exactly, but of the state of mind that constitutes "Our Democracy(TM)." When he unexpectedly won the presidency in 2016, the beautiful people, beginning with his opponent Hillary Clinton, couldn't believe it. They denounced the election as fraudulent. "Our Democracy(TM)," you see, means "rule by Democrats."

Now they are warning that, should Trump be reelected, he would be a "dictator," a new Hitler, etc. He would weaponise the Department of Justice against his enemies, they claim, and use the FBI to harass his opponents. Stay tuned for the seminar on what the Freudians call "projection": it meets this afternoon in a democratic redoubt near you.

In a more civilized version of America -- one that existed just a few decades ago -- the notion of waging this sort of unrestricted lawfare against a leading presidential candidate, much less a former president -- would have been considered ridiculous, and had it been taken seriously, would have been seen as enormously risky.

When considering any political tactic, after all, one question is what happens if it doesn't work. But sometimes an equally important question is, what happens if it does?

Say the various Democratic flacks, special prosecutors, and state attorneys general somehow manage to eliminate Trump. What happens?

Half the country -- maybe more -- will conclude that the whole system is rigged, that the establishment doesn't follow the rules, and that it will gang up on anyone it sees is a threat. They will conclude, in short, that the government, and indeed the entire system, is illegitimate.

And they will be right. And the politicians of even a generation ago recognized that as enormously dangerous.

Planned Parenthood Now All-In on the Transsexual "Therapy" For Children Business, Seeing the Merits of Putting Young People on an Expensive "Treatment" They Will Be On For Their Entire Lives

I mean... This is just an evil organization. It's not my way to use that word, but Planned Parenthood just seeks out the most repugnant "medicine" to offer.

The number of transgender services performed at Planned Parenthood clinics exploded over the past few years as the transgender medical industry became increasingly lucrative, according to data published by the organization's regional branches.

Planned Parenthood first began providing hormone treatments for transgender patients in 2005, and since then 41 out of 49 regional branches have provided transgender services as of 2022. However, in just the last three years, Planned Parenthood has become dramatically more involved in the gender hormone industry.

Between 2020 and 2022, the number of transgender services performed and/or visits related to transgender treatments at Planned Parenthood clinics increased by roughly 125%, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of available data. Regional branches that made their data available collectively saw 17,036 visits in 2020 compared to 38,337 in 2022, a staggering increase in such a short period of time.

Michael Artigues, president of the American College of Pediatricians, told the DCNF that the increase seen over the last few years is likely due to a number of factors such as transgenderism becoming a growing "social phenomenon," as well as potential financial incentives.

The regional offices varied in how they tracked gender services, with some tracking gender hormone therapy appointments and others tracking visits to their "gender-affirming care" programs; however, many of the regional Planned Parenthood organizations who published their data saw a substantial increase in visits and/or services performed for transgender individuals. Many clinics currently offer "Transgender Hormone Therapy" including estrogen, testosterone and puberty blockers.

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, which has clinics located in California and parts of Nevada, had 1,041 "gender-affirming care visits" in 2020 before jumping to 4,378 visits in 2022 and eventually hitting 9,288 in 2023, according to its annual reports. The clinic offers hormone therapy for patients who are 18 years and older, or for patients 16 to 17 years old who obtain parental consent, according to its website.

Several branches said that their transgender services were some of the fastest-growing areas for their clinics. Planned Parenthood Illinois said in its 2022 report that its transgender hormone therapy is "growing faster than any other service." The report also noted that "gender-affirming care requires a lifelong continuum of social, psychological, behavioral and medical care."

Scott Newgent, a detransitioner and founder of TReVoices, an organization that works to stop the medical transitioning of children, told the DCNF that the nature of gender hormone treatments, which must be taken continuously for the remainder of a patient's life, creates potential repeat customers for organizations like Planned Parenthood.

"It doesn't matter if they decide to transition or stay trans or whatever," Newgent said. "They're going to need those synthetic hormones for life. That's a huge business model."

The goal is to put as many people as possible on a monthly shot of something.

Xi Tells His American Catspaw Joe Biden: We're Taking Taiwan Back

And there's nothing that Biden will do about it. He's been paid well for just this moment.

Chinese President Xi Jinping bluntly told President Joe Biden during their recent summit in San Francisco that Beijing will reunify Taiwan with mainland China but that the timing has not yet been decided, according to three current and former U.S. officials.

Xi told Biden in a group meeting attended by a dozen American and Chinese officials that China's preference is to take Taiwan peacefully, not by force, the officials said.

Yes but they told Biden they're taking it one way or the other. Even a warmonger would rather that his enemies surrender without a fight.

The Chinese leader also referenced public predictions by U.S. military leaders who say that Xi plans to take Taiwan in 2025 or 2027, telling Biden that they were wrong because he has not set a time frame, according to the two current and one former official briefed on the meeting.

Chinese officials also asked in advance of the summit that Biden make a public statement after the meeting saying that the U.S. supports China's goal of peaceful unification with Taiwan and does not support Taiwanese independence, they said. The White House rejected the Chinese request.

Now, for the leftwing propaganda media which rigged an election to get Biden installed into office to argue that this is no big deal, really, no sign at all that China thinks Biden is weak (and paid-off, and therefore compromised by blackmail material) and knows it can start a war without suffering consequences.

Officials familiar with the conversation between Biden and Xi described the Chinese leader as blunt and candid, but not confrontational.

"His language was no different than what he has always said. He is always tough on Taiwan. He's always had a tough line," said a U.S. official with knowledge of the conversation.

Biden Is Secretly Paying Delta Airline to Airlift His Army of Illegals All Over the American Interior

Delta won't confirm it.

But they're also not denying it, despite this story trending on X.

Elon Musk responded to a conservative commentator who has asked why Delta Air Lines is allegedly "shipping illegal migrants from border states."

Author Ashley St. Clair took to X, formerly Twitter, on December 19 to express her dismay at the airline for flying people she claimed were migrants on her flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to New York.

"Why the hell is @delta complicit in shipping illegal migrants from border states like Arizona to New York City?" she wrote. "Our own mayor (a Democrat) has begged Biden to stop sending the migrants here because we are overwhelmed. Is Delta being directed to transport these migrants or are they willingly shipping illegal migrants to cities they know are crumbling for a paycheck from taxpayers?"

Newsweek reached out to Delta Air Lines via their website and contacted St. Clair via X for comment on Wednesday.

At the time of writing, "Delta" was trending on the platform, and the post had been viewed more than 407,000 times, even catching the attention of Musk, X's owner.

"Good question," Musk commented, to which St. Clair added in response: "I won't hold my breath on them answering."

St. Clair said in a separate post on X that the flight was allegedly filled with migrants who still had bags from the processing center.

"My Delta flight from Phoenix appears to be flying migrants who crossed the border and are being shipped to New York," she posted. "When I asked a Delta representative if this was the case, his response was 'What does it matter, they're humans too.' What is happening???? Are taxpayer dollars paying for this????"

"I had a dozen other passengers come up & thank me for asking about our Delta flight full of migrants who illegally entered our country," St. Clair wrote. "I'm sick and tired of being told wanting a secure border is 'racist.'"

She added: "Migrants are being flown Delta premium cabin, given phones, and housing while Americans struggle to afford groceries and rent."

She also said one of the alleged migrants was seated next to her in a premium cabin and wondered if the other passengers had undergone medical screening.

A former director of an ICE field office confirmed that illegal aliens are being given "minimal" health screenings before being packed on to flights with unwary Americans.

Eight high-profile predators, I mean persons of interest, have successfully petitioned to get their names withheld from the disclosures which are (supposedly) coming on January 2nd.

A mysterious group of eight high-profile Jeffrey Epstein associates are MISSING from the roster of 177 names expected to be released by a federal judge next year, a RadarOnline.com investigation has exclusively learned.

It is unknown why the eight vanished from the list, but court records examined by RadarOnline.com showed the missing eight -- known as Doe's # 12, 28, 97, 107, 144, 147, 171, and 183 -- filed court documents in a desperate attempt to remain anonymous in the scandalous case.

The legal document implied the eight big shots were attempting to protect their stellar reputations.

"It is vitally important for the public to understand how the sex trafficking of young girls by the wealthy and powerful was able to persist for years with impunity," stated the legal brief filed by lawyers for the Miami Herald and its investigative reporter Julie Brown.

"And any adults who participated in these acts or can shed light on these facts cannot shield the public's eyes to this crucial information simply because they would prefer to sweep it under the rug and not be associated with the whole affair."

A Happy Accident

In 1955, the Sears-Roebuck department store in Colorado Springs had a Christmas promotion. They opened a phone line so kids could call Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. This promotion was across both print and radio. Kids were encouraged to give Santa a ring. To try to reduce the chances of a bunch of kids calling random strangers, the ads were very clear: do not dial the wrong number.

The copywriters, however, didn't get the memo. The kids called the number in the ad, but did not get to talk Saint Nick. Thanks to a transposition in the published telephone number, they ended up calling what is perhaps the one number that should never, for any reason, be slammed with phone calls from the public. The number was not only wrong, it was spectacularly wrong. The number Sears published in the ad rang directly through to the "Red Phone" at NORAD's air defense operations center.

The Morning Report — 12/21/23

Good morning, kids. Happy winter. So, on the granular level, the entire house of cards (which implies fragility, and what the Deep State is doing is anything but) being built to take down Donald Trump is predicated on one word: "Fight!" This is at the heart of the charge that on January 6th, 2021, Trump incited an "insurrection" at the Capitol merely by uttering that word.

Never mind the fact that Trump was at least a mile away, or that when he uttered that fateful word the melee and FBI/Capitol PD chaperoned guided tour had been going on for almost an hour, or more importantly the context of the word in relation to Trump's speech. He said "fight" and despite the fact that he clearly, and unambiguously meant in a nonviolent, political and peaceful sense, the all-knowing oracle that evidently is the Colorado Supreme Court, at least the four despicable mo-fo Leftists, deemed it a call to arms to overthrow "our precious democracy" (vomit).

If this isn't the lighting of the fuse that will set off a conflagration that tears us apart, it for sure is blowing hard on one that's already lit and burning down faster than you can say "I love Sarajevo."

The Colorado court ruling is sadly only the most recent in a long series of disastrous firsts that are slowly unwinding the republic and making a mockery of the rule of law. Remember the Russian collusion hoax and the 2016 Clinton/Fusion GPS effort to destroy a presidential candidate? Recall the 2020 Russian disinformation farcical claim concerning the genuine Hunter Biden laptop? Do not forget the precedent of impeaching a president twice and then trying an ex-president and private citizen in the Senate.

Then there was another first of raiding an ex-president’s private home over disputes about the removal of presidential papers that are typically solved bureaucratically and as a civil matter.

We are also witnessing ongoing lawfare waged by state and local partisan prosecutors to destroy the current leading presidential candidate. Their indictments either have no merit or would never have applied to liberal politicians or both.

What will be Colorado’s precedent? Will red-state courts now respond by erasing Joe Biden from their ballots on grounds that he is “guilty” of insurrectionary activity—by deliberately destroying the southern border, undermining U.S. security, sabotaging federal immigration law, and violating his oath of office? Will some states remove Vice President Kamala Harris from their 2024 ballots on grounds that in 2020 she deliberately incited insurrectionary protestors who had been engaged in riot, arson, looting, violent assaults on police, and attacks on federal properties?

So does the Left see where it is taking the country? It is destroying all the old parameters of accepted politics in using any means necessary to deny millions of citizens the right to elect their own highest official.

We have never seen anything like this before in American history. But it is only the latest chapter of an ongoing travesty that will not end well.

That's for sure. That's for dang sure. While speculating what some red states might do vis a vis doing unto Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and his semen-gargling sidekick, I have my doubts this would come to pass. A) it presupposes that red state governors and legislatures have the balls to bring this kind of suit and that B) majority originalist state supreme courts would vote as Colorado did.

That said, the charges against Biden would be far from spurious. His willful erasure of our borders alone can reasonably be argued as either an egregious example of criminal malfeasance or in point of fact treasonous insofar as intentionally endangering the national security of the republic and safety of the citizenry. The distance between this and Trump uttering the word "Fight!" is measured in light years.

Assuming a scenario like this plays out, the other factor is having the spine, in the face of very real threats of violence, for the aforementioned theoretical judges to actually rule to remove Biden/Harris or whoever from the ballot. Of course, like everyone else allegedly on our side of the divide, there's always the issue of decorum and playing by rules. This, despite the fact that the other side has taken the Constitution and wiped its amoral, evil ass with it and has been shoving it in our face for years if not decades already.

As a nation we're gone. And probably the ultimate example of Iowahawk's brilliant observation is the Left's killing and gutting this nation, its heritage and culture, and now parading around wearing its moldering skin-suit and demanding respect. That to me is the most hateful thing of all; that those who have worked for generations now to destroy what was founded in 1789 and paid in the blood of actual patriots over the intervening years many times over, have completely usurped the mantle of righteousness and are dragging us down to Hell, all while declaring that they are the ones preserving "democracy."

If that doesn't make you vomit up your coffee, I don't know what will. Again, we're gone. There is no reconciliation possible because we now have zero grounds with which to come together. That used to be our history and heritage but they have deemed that to be illegitimate, evil, racist and a danger to the planet. Victor Davis Hanson is dead on when he states that this is not going to end well. As does Ben Shapiro (if I'm excerpting him, you know it's serious).

Trump, let us not forget, has not been charged with insurrection. He was not even convicted in his impeachment trial over Jan. 6. Yet the Colorado State Supreme Court says it can bar him from electoral eligibility anyway. 

This is, to put it mildly, unbelievably dangerous. . .

. . . Meanwhile, the Colorado Supreme Court has now set up expectations for Democrats across the country that Trump can be legally barred from the presidency -- and when the Supreme Court overturns that Colorado Supreme Court ruling, they will claim that the Supreme Court itself is rigged. 

All of which means that 2024 is going to be the most insane and ugly presidential election in American history. And that's saying a lot, since 1968 and 2020 are both years that existed. Under what circumstances, precisely, would Democrats accept the result of a Trump election? Under what circumstances, precisely, would Republicans accept the result of a Biden election?

The weaponization of the legal system creates an all-consuming fire, burning everything in its path. There is simply no 2024 result likely to result in anything but complete – and perhaps violent – chaos at this point."

Bingo. And note well Shapiro's comment about the Supreme Court. That's where the action is going to be, and "action" is certainly a word pregnant with meaning. As an aside, if SCOTUS tosses this crap, what effect will it have on Jack Smith's spurious charges? Imagine if all of those cases get tossed based on a potential or likely rejection of the CO court's ruling. Legal eagles please weigh in.

Whether intentional or merely accidental, and I believe it intentional, the Left have taken a hammer to every institution in and out of government as a means to declare them illegitimate, sow chaos and then move in to take control. When things don't go their way, they declare elections, the courts, laws they disagree with that pass and those they push that don't to be illegitimate outcomes and "threats to democracy," etc. etc.

If the Democrats do manufacture 85, 90 or even 100 million ballots to drag the drooling, criminal pervert across the line like they did in 2020, our side will scream bloody murder. That's probably about all we'll do but when, not if the economy collapses, then future actions are quite unpredictabe.

If by some miracle Trump (still the likely candidate) manages to legitimately beat the cheat, the Leftists will scream even louder by orders of magnitude – and burn, loot and murder to a degree that made the George Floyd Summer of Love and BLM Jihad look like a church picnic. And they won't limit themselves to the already burned out and abandoned blue shit-holes. They're heading for the burbs and red state America. I think you can figure out what would happen after that.

The bottom line, as I said, is we are now completely lined up and facing off against each other. Will someone on the other side give the order "Don't fire until you see the whites–"? Remains to be seen. But no doubt we are coming dangerously close to that for the first time in 163 years.

God help us. And God help them if they pull the trigger.

Soros DA (antisemitism alert!) Larry Krasner's jurisdiction has been shrunk by an act of the Pennsylvania legislature, signed into law by Democrat Governor Shapiro.

Philadelphia's progressive district attorney, Larry Krasner, had some of his authority stripped and diverted to a new prosecutorial position due to his failed "liberal, woke" policies, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

Last week, Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro signed into law Senate Bill 140, which creates a new special prosecutor role for mass transit. According to the measure, the special prosecutor has the power to "investigate and institute criminal proceedings for a violation of the laws of this Commonwealth occurring within a public transportation authority."

"The special prosecutor's prosecutorial jurisdiction shall include the power and independent authority to exercise all investigative and prosecutorial functions and powers of an office of the district attorney," the bill added.

So they're taking the ability to prosecute -- or not prosecute -- crimes which interfere with citizens' right to travel. Crimes committed on subways and, one hopes, BLM/Hamas takeovers of public streets and highways.

Not a lot, really. But I guess it's a shot across the bow? Maybe?

Krasner, a Democrat, called the measure unconstitutional and an "attack on democracy."

"This is normalizing the erasure of Philadelphia votes. This is what people who want to be dictators do," Krasner stated during a news conference last week.

So, it's the state government which is invested with all the legislative power the state has. Localities have political power because the state devolves part of its power away to municipalities. They can limit that power, change what powers they devolve, etc.

Krasner is the one attacking democracy here, of course.

AllahPundit also showed he was absent the day they taught law in law school when he argued that DeSantis and the Florida legislature couldn't take away municipalities' power to impose vax and mask mandates. Of course they can, the municipalities only hold power in the first place due to a positive grant of power from the state.

But he was always stupid. And very... emotional. And he was so very very scared of covid! But you know, he really believes in The Science (TM). I guess that's good. A new Monmouth University poll released Monday has revealed Americans' least favorite leader in Congress, but all maintain underwater approval ratings.

According to the poll, just 6% of adults say they approve of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's, R-Ky., job performance, with a whopping 60% saying they disapprove. 34% had no opinion.

McConnell was the only congressional leader with a net negative approval rating from within his own party, and fell far behind his Democrat and Republican colleagues on how they are viewed by the American public. Just 10% of Republicans said they approved of McConnell's job performance, with 41% disapproving and 49% having no opinion.

McConnell's approval rating was down from 12% in July, with 50% disapproving and 37% having no opinion.

Doing the Jobs Americans Just Won't Do Update: Nearly 60% of illegal alien households are on welfare.

Close to 60 percent of households headed by illegal aliens use at least one major form of welfare, an analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals.

The CIS analysis from Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler shows illegal aliens and legal immigrants, in general, use "significantly more" welfare than native-born American citizens.

For example, about 59 percent of households headed by illegal aliens use welfare and about 52 percent of households headed by legal immigrants use at least one form of welfare. At the same time, fewer than 4-in-10 households headed by native-born American citizens use welfare.

"... this is primarily because the American welfare system is designed in large part to help low-income families with children, which describes a large share of immigrants," CIS researchers note.

In particular, the study found that immigrant-headed households use far more food stamps, Medicaid benefits, and the Earned Income Tax Credit than native-born American households.

"Compared to households headed by the United States-born, immigrant-headed households have especially high use of food programs (36 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), Medicaid (37 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), and the Earned Income Tax Credit (16 percent vs. 12 percent for the U.S.-born)," CIS researchers state.

The use of taxpayer-funded welfare among illegal aliens as well as legal immigrants is significant as the nation's foreign-born population hits new record highs under President Joe Biden.

CIS researchers, last month, unveiled that 49.5 million foreign-born residents now live across the U.S. -- the largest ever in American history and the overwhelming majority of which is driven by legal immigration levels. For comparison, the foreign-born population was just 9.7 million in 1960.

An LGBTQ+ activist was arrested in Philadelphia on Monday and charged with the rape of two young boys. Trans-identified male Kendall Stephens, who was referred to in the local news as "she," was alleged to have raped two boys under the age of 13.

Now wait a minute -- that doesn't sound like the kind of crime a lady would commit.

Stephens was charged with indecent assault of a person under 13, rape, unlawful contact with minor sexual offenses, and endangering the welfare of children - parent or guardian, ABC reports. Stephens bail has been set at $250,000 and Stephens will make a court appearance on December 29. The investigation is not being led by the district attorney's office but by another agency.

Stephens' activism began in 2020 after being attacked in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia. This attack took place in Stephens' home which Stephens shared with two godchildren, both teen girls. Stephens posts photos with children identified as her nephews on Instagram.

Stephens claimed the attack was due to Stephens trans identity. After that attack, Stephens began to advocate for LGBTQ+ identities to be protected under Pennsylvania's hate crime laws.

I'm wondering if maybe the attack had something with misbehavior towards the nephews.

Young voters are increasingly "bailing on Biden," according to an NBC News article from Monday.

"Jayden Camarena, in Northern California, is contemplating blowing off the 2024 presidential election," NBC reported in a story headlined, "Young voters explain why they're bailing on Biden -- and whether they'd come back."

"Evan McKenzie, in battleground Wisconsin, is looking for any other candidate than the current front-runners. In Philadelphia, Pru Carmichael isn't even convinced this race matters," NBC reported.

"Braeden McNulty, of Edison Park, NJ, reported regretting Their vote for Biden the morning after the election. 'I honestly thought I was voting for Walter the Puppet,' They said. 'I expected him to be funnier.'"

These voters are three examples of people who voted for Biden in 2020 but "now say the president can't count on their support in 2024."

Other young voters told NBC News that they felt obligated not to support Biden anymore.

"I genuinely could not live with myself if I voted for someone who's made the decisions that Biden has," McKenzie, a 23-year-old resident of Madison, Wisconsin, said. "I didn't even feel great about" voting for Biden in 2020, he explained.

"It's so complicated, because it almost feels like if I were to give my vote for Biden, I will be showing the Democratic Party that what they are putting out is enough, which is the bare minimum in my opinion," Camarena, a 24-year-old living outside the Bay Area in California, told NBC.

Former President Trump is leading Biden among young voters by a 13-point margin, according to a recent Fox News poll. The polling results come as the Trump campaign is targeting young voters and widening its support among GOP voters.

Hollywood Update: Last week there was some story going around that Warner Bros. had a 60% chance of going bankrupt in the near future. It's very heavy on debt and has been trying to get from under the debt load.

Now comes word that WB is in talks with Paramount to merge.

Deadline has confirmed that Warner Bros Discovery and Paramount Global have held talks on a possible merger.

Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish and WBD boss David Zaslav sat down on Tuesday at Paramount's corporate headquarters in New York's Times Square, a well-place source tells Deadline, "It was all rather preliminary," the source said of the talks. Shari Redstone, CEO of Paramount's controlling shareholder, National Amusements, "is on a bit of a listening tour to see what she might be able to get if she decides to sell the company or part of it," he added.

Two additional people with knowledge of the discussions confirmed them to Deadline.

Deadline has reported in recent days that Redstone, after spending years holding her family's empire together, had become open to offers for National Amusements and Paramount assets from suitors including Skydance and RedBird Capital.

Redstone was not in the room with Zaslav and Bakish for the actual meeting, a source noted. She did have a separate conversation with Zaslav this week, where the role of broadcast network CBS in any potential future deal was a major topic.

As a broadcast network coupled with 28 owned stations in many markets, CBS is a significant asset but also a legacy one.

Would a merger pass an anti-trust review? Well, on one hand, their merger reduces the number of "bigs" -- big studios -- from six to five.

On the other hand, if WB were to collapse, then that would also reduce the number of Bigs to five. A merger, they'd argue, would actually "strengthen competition."

Which makes me wonder if WB leaked that claim about going bankrupt.
