A hotel in El Paso and its owner face a temporary injunction and restraining order from the El Paso County Attorney for alleged criminal activity and suspicions of housing Tren de Aragua gang members. El Paso County Attorney Christina Sanchez filed an original petition for abatement of a common nuisance, an application for a temporary restraining order, a temporary injunction, and a permanent injunction against the Gateway Hotel. "The Gateway Hotel's reputation is as a business that does not properly document the guests that stay at the hotel, has narcotics trafficking, disorderly conduct, and violent crime," read the lawsuit. The first documented instance of a possible gang member was in June when police were called after a suspect shot a handgun in the air and made threats of violence. Police later noted tattoos consistent with the gang Tren de Aragua on inhabitants of the hotel on several occasions while investigating calls of disorderly conduct and fire code violations. The Department of Justice is not involved, of course. They're too busy arresting people who merely attended the J6 rally -- although a recent Supreme Court case invalidating a fake charge they were convicting people of is now forcing them to drop half of all J6 charges. Note that all of the defendants are being charged for other crimes (or "crimes"). That's because this charge was just made up to overcharge people with, to force them into pleading guilty.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dropped nearly half of the obstruction charges pending against individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol riot. The move comes in response to a June Supreme Court ruling that made it more difficult to charge defendants with obstruction unless it could be proven that they intended to stop the certification of electoral votes. According to DOJ data, the department has dismissed the charge in approximately 60 of the 126 cases still awaiting trial. Thirteen defendants will still face obstruction charges, and the DOJ is continuing to evaluate the remaining cases. For cases already tried, the DOJ has stated it will not oppose the dismissal of obstruction charges in 40 of the 133 previously adjudicated cases, with more reviews underway. One defendant has had their sentence reduced as a result of the ruling. "There are zero cases where a defendant was charged only for violating 18 U.S.C. sec. 1512," the DOJ emphasized, referring to the obstruction statute. This means that even if the government drops obstruction charges, defendants still face other criminal charges."Top men" in the crucially-important field of DEI Sciences at Biden's State Department are making nearly $200,000 per year. I mean, it make sense: They've brought so much peace to the world, they deserve to dip their beaks in the Peace Dividend profits, right?
The Biden-Harris State Department's top DEI officials pull in nearly $200,000 annually in taxpayer-funded salaries, according to financial disclosures, putting them among the highest-paid American diplomats.Genuine question: Is it best to make up a fake field and pay incompetent people a lot of money to do fake jobs, rather than giving them jobs in real fields like medicine and engineering where they can kill thousands of people? I'm not saying it's just; I'm saying it might be the Least Worst Outcome. Put them in gold-plated rubber-rooms and keep them from killing people. (Of course, this plan requires all other departments to ignore their DEI demands.) White House spokesman John Kirby sent an email attacking veterans who question Biden's disastrous Afghanistan Absconding.
Constance Mayer, who served as the acting chief Diversity and Inclusion officer until April of this year, raked in $194,510 annually, according to financial disclosures published by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The State Department's Special Representative for Racial Justice and Equity, Desiree Cormier Smith, makes $191,900 each year, the disclosures show. The officials draw far more than the average State Department employee, who makes around $100,000 or less, depending on post and tenure. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the country's top diplomat, only makes slightly more, pulling in around $221,000 annually, though he is reportedly sitting on a "$10 million fortune" driven by his past work as a corporate consultant. The financial disclosures provide a window into the Biden-Harris administration's push to emphasize what critics label "woke" priorities in the federal government. The State Department is leading these efforts internationally, reportedly pumping more than $80 million into a litany of programs meant to advance "racial equity" and prevent "gender and sexuality discrimination" abroad. Blinken formed the department's Office of Diversity and Inclusion in February 2021, shortly after a White House order instructed the entire federal government to ramp up DEI initiatives. He also created the racial equity envoy position, which maintains a staff and office. Cormier Smith was appointed to the role in 2022 after working as a senior policy advisor for liberal billionaire George Soros's Open Society Foundations. Financial disclosures indicate her spouse pulls in more than $230,000 annually at Freddie Mac, the federal mortgage company.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby found himself in hot water after mistakenly sending a dismissive email to Fox News that criticized veterans on the anniversary of 9/11. The email, intended for White House staff, belittled a group of veterans who had been critical of the Biden administration's chaotic 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. The veterans, including Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.), took issue with Kirby's defense of the administration during a press conference on Monday. Mills and others accused Kirby of providing "cover" for President Biden's handling of the withdrawal, which many have blamed for the loss of 13 U.S. service members during the August 2021 ISIS-K terror attack at Kabul's Abbey Gate. In the mistakenly sent email, Kirby wrote, "Obviously no use in responding. A 'handful' of vets indeed and all of one stripe." His remarks were a response to a Fox News inquiry about the veterans' statements. Realizing his error, Kirby later emailed a Fox reporter, saying, "Clearly, I didn't realize you were on the chain." This email blunder comes at a sensitive time, as Kirby was traveling with President Biden on the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The veterans' criticism was focused on what they saw as Kirby's attempt to deflect responsibility for the Afghanistan withdrawal, despite many of its shortcomings being attributed to Biden's decisions. As someone put it: This is the real "Suckers and Losers" scandal. Boeing's Starliner returned to Earth, empty, leaving the astronauts who were supposed to return with it stuck on the space station until Elon Musk can scramble a rescue mission in February 2025. (At earliest, I think.)
Boeing's Starliner spacecraft safely returned to Earth early Saturday morning after spending three months docked at the International Space Station (ISS). NASA opted for the uncrewed return due to lingering concerns over the spacecraft's propulsion system, leaving test pilots Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams aboard the ISS until early next year. According to NASA's Boeing Crew Flight Test blog, Starliner began its return at 6:04 p.m. ET Friday, autonomously undocking from the ISS's Harmony module. After a six-hour journey, Starliner safely touched down at White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico at 12:01 a.m. ET Saturday. The spacecraft completed its descent under three parachutes and six airbags designed to cushion its ground landing. Starliner's heat shield also separated during reentry, exposing the airbags filled with nitrogen, which helped reduce the spacecraft's landing speed to 4 miles per hour. Starliner is the first American-made orbital crew capsule designed for ground landings, which makes it a reusable spacecraft, a significant advancement for NASA's Commercial Crew Program. However, this latest mission has been riddled with problems, including thruster malfunctions and helium leaks. These issues arose shortly after its June launch, prompting NASA to decide that returning the astronauts aboard Starliner was too risky.Fire the "expert" class. All of them. They can then re-interview to get their jobs back.
Jewish voters in swing-states are trending Republican. I wouldn't put much stock in this; I've been typing up this same story since the election of 2004.
We'll see. "Jews may vote Republican" and "breakthrough in cancer treatment discovered" are two stories I've mostly stopped typing up.
Jewish voters in key swing districts in Pennsylvania and New York have been turning away from the Democratic Party ahead of the 2024 elections, a recent poll reported by The New York Post revealed. The survey, conducted by the non-partisan Teach Coalition, an Orthodox Union project, and the Honan Strategy Group, highlighted growing political engagement among Jewish voters driven by the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel and the rise of antisemitism in the United States. The poll found that 56% of Jewish voters in Pennsylvania and 66% in New York's swing districts said these events had significantly increased their likelihood of voting in the upcoming presidential election. However, the survey also uncovered reluctance among Jewish voters to self-identify as Jewish, a trend attributed to heightened fears of antisemitic attacks. Support for Democratic candidates had notably declined. In Pennsylvania, 49% of Jewish voters backed Vice President Kamala Harris, while 42% supported former president Donald Trump, marking a significant decrease from President Joe Biden's 68% share of the Jewish vote in 2020. Harris held 56% of the Jewish vote in New York's swing districts compared to Trump's 37%. Jews could decide Pennsylvania's outcome With approximately 300,000 Jewish voters in Pennsylvania and tens of thousands in New York's swing districts, this voting bloc was pivotal in determining the outcomes of the presidential and congressional races. In Pennsylvania, where Biden had narrowly won by 80,000 votes in 2020, the Jewish vote could have been decisive.
Kamala Harris is bussing in "supporters" to her rallies, because too few people in the areas she's speaking with support her.
Our Vegetative "President" is back from his latest two week "vacation" at the graft-built beach house in Reheboth. He immediately went off-script, which you know all other Democrats love.
President Joe Biden briefly donned a "Trump 2024" hat during a visit to a fire station in Shanksville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, as part of a commemorative event for the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Subsequent video and images of the moment quickly went viral with the Trump campaign responding on X (formerly Twitter) saying: "Thanks for the support, Joe!" Key Details: During a visit to the Shanksville Fire Station, Biden spoke about the need for "bipartisan unity" in the wake of the September 11th attacks, according to a statement from the White House. A Trump supporter at the event suggested Biden wear a "Trump 2024" hat as a symbolic gesture of that unity with the president obliging briefly. The moment during a closed-door meeting with local residents, was captured in video that quickly went viral, prompting mockery and criticism from Trump supporters with even Trump campaign Senior Advisor Chris LaCivita asking on X: "What's happening?"

Ed Morrissey suggests this may be a negotiation tactic, because Trump was far too willing to concede anything to Biden, and then Kamala Harris, to get them on the stage. Maybe he would agree to a debate -- if it weren't "moderated" by Marxist Media shills.
But for now, he's saying, like Apollo Creed, "No rematch." (Of course Apollo changed his mind later.)
And Trump claims his own polling shows him with a "modest bump" coming out of the debate. It's a surprise to me, but so far other pollsters aren't disputing him. It's not proven, but it's plausible.
A memo obtained from the Trump campaign Thursday reveals a modest post-debate polling bump for the former president, while Kamala Harris's support remains stagnant. In addition to the campaign's internal polling, multiple public polls, including new surveys by Rasmussen and the New York Times, show Trump moving ahead of Harris nationally and in critical swing states. Key Details: An internal Trump campaign survey of 1,893 likely voters in key target states showed a 2-point post-debate bump for Trump, while Harris's numbers remained unchanged. The memo criticizes Harris's debate performance, noting that "target state voters were not impressed by Kamala Harris' empty platitudes." Trump now leads Harris 50% to 47% in a head-to-head matchup. Other polls reflect similar trends, with a Rasmussen Reports survey conducted from September 5th-11th showing Trump ahead 49% to 47%, and a recent New York Times/Siena College poll showing Trump leading Harris 48% to 47%.Duane Patterson thinks that the debate was a tie, and a tie benefits Trump, as he's not the one presiding over a nation on fire.
I watched every minute of the debate. The video package I had available for Wednesday morning's Hugh Hewitt Show and my Duane's World podcast included over 50 video clips. My original conclusion was that nobody won the debate. Trump wasn't at his best, Kamala Harris was an A.I. cyborg reciting memorized answers to issue sets, not specific questions. And David Muir and Linsey Davis, Kamala's sorority sister, set a standard for bias in a debate moderator that will never be equaled. I'm not sure it's physically possible to be more partisan and one-sided than what we saw Tuesday night in Philadelphia. Donald Trump was effective at redirecting the conversation repeatedly throughout the debate on the border crisis, and all of the manifest problems we've seen over the last four years, whether it be on jobs, crime, drugs, national security concerns, education, or strains on the health care system. But there were at least a dozen opportunities for the former President to put this race away for good. He had multiple chances to do what Ronald Reagan did to Walter Mondale in 1984 - use a meme from his opponent he knew was coming and turn it around, erasing any doubt as to who is going to win the election. Trump didn't do that. I'll give you just two examples of a rhetorical checkmate Trump left on the board. Kamala Harris launched into her 'Trump is the worst ever' routine at one point, making the case that the events of January 6th constituted the biggest threat to democracy since the Civil War. On 9/10, she said that. In real time, my eyes bugged out. ... Another layup was when Harris claimed that there are no U.S. troops currently serving in a combat zone. We have troops at al-Assad in Iraq that constantly comes under attack. We just lost 7 servicemembers to an ISIS attack on August 31st. U.S. troops are stationed in a combat zone in Syria. There are hot spots all around the world where we have troops deployed. This was an easy way for Trump to show Harris as clueless, unmoored from reality, and recklessly stupid on the commander-in-chief question.I don't know if that had any impact, either. I myself got bogged down in cut-and-parry stuff, but I'm sure the public is largely ignorant of the fact that American servicemen are still serving in war zones.
He also notes that Nate Silver still has Trump 61.3% likely to win the electoral college. Silver had had Trump at 63.8% likely, so this is a small loss of support. But still likely to win.

DeWine says he doesn't oppose Biden shipping in masses of illegal aliens. He just wants Biden to send him more money for the privilege.
And now the violent gangs rule our streets. Problem solved!
The governor of Ohio will send law enforcement and millions of dollars in healthcare resources to the city of Springfield as it faces a surge in temporary Haitian migrants that has landed it in the national spotlight. Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said Tuesday he doesn't oppose the Temporary Protected Status program under which some 15,000 Haitians have arrived in the city of about 59,000 people since 2020, but said the federal government must do more to help impacted communities. His news conference was held just hours before the presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump, where the divide over immigration policy was sure to be an issue. On Monday, Republican Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost also drew attention to the crisis when he directed his office to research legal avenues -- including filing a lawsuit -- to stop the federal government from sending "an unlimited number of migrants to Ohio communities." Thousands of temporary Haitian migrants have landed in the city in recent years, as longstanding unrest in their home country has given way to violent gangs ruling the streets.
"These dramatic surges impact every citizen of the community, every citizen," he said, noting additional influxes are occurring in Findlay and Lima, Ohio. "Moms who have to wait hours in a waiting room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets, and it affects children who go to school in more crowded classrooms."
David Strom argues that it's time for Trump to go to Springfield.
To put the problem of the residents into perspective, Mayor Adams has said that New York City is being destroyed by the influx of about 100,000 migrants, which amounts to one for every 830 New Yorkers. Springfield is dealing with an influx of one Haitian for every three residents. Think of that. One out of every four residents of the city is a Haitian migrant imported over the past four years. These people don't speak the language, get government subsidies, are taking housing from local residents, and have been driving down wages. There are also undisputed reports of Haitians decapitating geese in the park and disputed reports of pets disappearing and perhaps being eaten. As much as we love our pets, whether they are being eaten is the smallest of these problems, but the only one the MSM cares about. If the reports are "debunked" (none of these MSM folks has bothered to visit and investigate, claiming a single phone call to a city manager is sufficient to remove all doubt), so what? The matter isn't closed because the issue is not cats and dogs, but the suffering of the residents of Springfield, who are feeling beset by the takeover of their city.Trump going to Springfield is the only way to get the Marxist media to visit. They'll do a bunch of stories about people's pets who aren't being eaten. Meanwhile, in Aurora, CO, where Tren de Aragau gangsters are definitely not taking over apartment buildings, You Deplorable Racists, police have arrested ten Tren de Aragua gang members for taking over apartment buildings.
Aurora PD arrests 10 members of the Tren de Aragua gang in connection apartment building takeoverOld narrative: these gang members have not taken over any apartment buildings in Aurora New narrative: these gang members have not taken over the city of Aurora itself
Aurora police arrested 10 members of the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, for alleged violence against the migrant community. City officials stress the gang has not "taken over" Aurora.
10 Tren de Aragua members were arrested in connection with criminal activity, including child abuse and attempted murder. Aurora officials dispelled social media claims that the gang has taken control of the city. A joint task force has been formed to address gang activity, with cooperation from local, state, and federal agencies. ... The arrests, announced on Wednesday, are part of a broader law enforcement effort to address violence in several Aurora apartment complexes. The gang, originally based in Venezuela, has been linked to acts of violence targeting the migrant community. APD revealed that charges against the suspects include attempted first-degree murder, child abuse, and illegal discharge of firearms, among others. The criminal gang Tren de Aragua which definitely did not take over the city of Aurora, You Filthy Bigots, is definitely not spreading like a virus across the US.
The Tren de Aragua, a violent Venezuelan criminal gang, is expanding its reach across the U.S., a new report Thursday warns. Known for its brutal tactics across Latin America, the gang has now infiltrated cities like Aurora, Colorado, where local communities have been seen terrorized in now-viral videos, raising alarm among law enforcement agencies.
... The Tren de Aragua gang, which originated in a Venezuelan prison and rapidly evolved into a transnational criminal organization, is now emerging as a serious threat in the United States. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, U.S. law enforcement is investigating over 100 criminal cases tied to the gang across various states. What began as a localized issue in Latin America, where Tren de Aragua engaged in drug trafficking, extortion, and violent crimes, has now spread into American cities like Miami, New York, and Texas.

"There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it's born," said ABC debate moderator Linsey Davis, as she smugly "fact-checked" the Republican nominee. "Madam vice president, I want to get your response to President Trump."
"Well, as I said, you're going to hear a bunch of lies," eagerly agreed Kamala Harris. And then she proceeded to tell a bunch of lies. But in this exchange, the first lie was told by ABC's Linsey Davis. And either ironically or coincidentally, one of the places where babies can legally be killed post-birth is in the state of Minnesota -- where her running mate, Tim Walz, is currently governor. The Daily Signal examined several years of data from the Minnesota Department of Health: At least eight babies who survived abortions -- and were thus born alive -- were later killed, or left to die. In fact, during the narrow timeframe of January 1, 2021, through December 21, 2021 (one year), five babies were born post-abortion operation. Of those five infants: No one tried to save the first baby, who was allegedly born with "fetal anomalies" and died shortly thereafter. The second and third babies were given unspecified "comfort care measures" on their first (and last) birthdays. Neither baby survived. The fourth and fifth babies were deemed "previable," which is defined as the stage of fetal maturity when there's a much lower probability of survival outside of the uterus, but thanks to medical advances, the range of previability is shifting; it's often considered a "gray zone" for ethical decision-making. Regardless, no efforts were made to save either baby. The Daily Signal also uncovered Minnesota's records from January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019 (one year): Three babies were born alive after an attempted abortion, and three times these babies were allowed to die.
One suffered from "fetal anomalies," yet had "residual cardiac activity" -- medical slang for a beating heart -- for two solid minutes. Alas, the doctors opted to forego any attempt to save the baby's life: According to the records, "the infant did not survive." Of the last two, one baby passed away while being given "comfort care measures." The other was deemed previable; no attempt was made to help the infant. It's unclear if 2019 and 2021 are the only two years where Minnesota's medical data is still publicly available. ... Either Linsey Davis -- and by extension, ABC News -- is guilty of an astonishing level of incompetence and flubbed a critically important fact during a presidential debate, or they were deliberately lying to the American people, hoping to trick us into voting for their preferred candidate. If the former is true, then they're airheads who deserve to be fired. But if the latter is true, then they've become the literal embodiment of Fake News and misinformation. This is approaching Goebbels-level propaganda. Telling lies to obscure the deaths of innocent babies is kinda difficult to defend. ABC, we await your response. This gets to my complaint about leftist liars literally always denying a specific but making that denial sound like it's denying the general point. It may be illegal to kill a baby -- but it's not illegal for a doctor to abort a baby and then, when the little survivor clings to life, set it on a cold metal instrument table and let it bleed out without providing any necessary medical aid. In fact, it happens every fucking single day, and the left knows this. If ABC "News" were honest brokers, it would have provided the context of its denial. They might have said, "It's illegal to kill a baby. What you're talking about is letting an aborted baby expire without taking aid, which is a different question." But they know that all normal people would be horrified by that, and would not see much point in splitting hairs over "actively killing" and "deliberately allowing to die without rendering aid," so they pretend that what Trump was talking about is illegal and never happens. I'm so fucking sick of the endless lies-- especially by those who presume to check the "facts" and then who lobby to censor anyone telling the truth. Here's a question I don't know the answer to: Why doesn't someone start running ads on ABC pointing this out and calling ABC "News" liars to their very faces? Bring some needed accountability to the "fact" checkers for once! I think -- though I don't know why I think this -- that FEC rules require networks to run most political ads. I think the grounds for rejecting an ad are slim. Again, not sure why I think that, but that's the impression that I've gotten.

In other words-- the anniversary of the "old 9/11," which you might know as "9/11," has never before over the past 24 years been designated a special security event. Because that one didn't count -- that was just some people doing some things. No chance these some people would again try to do some things on another 9/11.
The Department of Homeland Security will take extra precautions after the 2024 presidential election in hopes of preventing another Jan. 6 riot. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas deemed Jan. 6, 2025, the date in which the certification of the presidential vote will occur, as a "national special security event," according to multiple reports. It will be the first time that such a designation occurs in this country. The efforts to increase security were granted in response to a special request from Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser, Fox News reported.
Oh, the Secret Service! Perfect! Keeping their clouded eyes on all the wrong balls as usual.
"This marks the first time a National Special Security Event designation has been granted for a Certification of Electoral Votes and follows a request made by the DC Mayor to designate this event a National Special Security Event," the Secret Service announced in a release.
...And why now? Why wasn't this "Special Security Event" designation applied earlier? Because David Muir and his running mate Kamala Harris made January 6th an attack line in the debate, so now the weaponized government is running an op to keep it in headlines for weeks:
"This designation allows for significant resources from the federal government, as well as from state and local partners, to be utilized in a comprehensive security plan," it added. "When an event is designated a National Special Security Event, the U.S. Secret Service assumes its mandated role as the lead agency for the design and implementation of the operational security plan."
It has been one of the most popular topics in politics over the last three years and was part of the discussion in Tuesday night's presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. "Donald Trump left us the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War," Harris said during the debate. The riot has been cited by many as an attack on the country's democracy. It has repeatedly been used as an example of the dangers of political violence and extremism.

Ed Morrissey notes that Tapper, of course, "both sides" the question-dodging, claiming Trump also failed to be specific when answering some questions.
But we've already seen four years of President Trump -- we have a pretty firm idea not just what his policies are in the abstract, but in real-world practice. Kamala Harris continues to be a red diaper baby Manchurian Candidate cipher that climbed the political ladder on her back and on her knees. However, any recognition in the mainstream media of Harris' evasiveness may qualify as a "shocking moment of journalism." Harris evaded all policy questions, including one example Tapper never mentions: tariffs. Trump certainly answered that policy question, and tried answering many questions with policy statements about border security and immigration control. Harris avoided all of those too, and got completely skunked on tariffs when Trump pointed out that Joe Biden and Harris continued the tariffs that Trump imposed. Harris looked like she wasn't even aware that the tariffs were still in place...She almost certainly isn't aware. Remember, a major source of tension in her office is that her aides write her briefing books that she doesn't read, and then attacks her staff for not properly informing her when she embarrasses herself publicly with her ignorance.

The question at the moment is our Democracy under threat? Well we have all seen the sham trials of NY vs. Trump. And unless you have been hiding for the past four years we all know about the despicable Jack Smith's Washington, D.C. tribunal vs. Trump. Never forget. We heard that phrase quite a bit yesterday. Well, let us not forget that anyone who meets the constitutional requirements can run for president. Two people attempted to run against The MushHead. U.S. Representative Dean Phillips and Robert F. Kennedy. The Democrats mostly laughed off Phillips. But RFK, Jr. was a different story. The powers that be of the DNC wouldn't let him be on state primary ballots. So Kennedy pulled himself up by the bootstraps and ran for the presidency as an independent. Although he can run for president apparently he cannot remove himself from the ballot. Remember peons, "the elite" have forgotten more about democracy then we will ever know.
Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will appear on the presidential ballot in Michigan, the state’s Supreme Court ruled. So in Michigan a presidential candidate cannot say, "My body, my choice" and get away with it. Now we move to the Common Wealth of Virginia. Virginia allowed an independent presidential candidate on the ballot after first refusing him. That candidate, Cornel West has raised the ire of slime ball political ambulance chasing attorney Marc Elias' firm to sue Virginia. West requested consideration and was added to the ballot. Once again the Democrats prove what they are: Racist, dictatorial and full of rank hyprocisy.
The 5-2 ruling overturned an appeals court decision that had removed Kennedy from the state’s ballot over the objections of Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.
Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, leads Republican nominee Donald Trump in the state no matter the number of candidates, but her edge shrinks when the race becomes a head-to-head matchup, according to polling averages.
Marc Elias, the former Clinton campaign lawyer and Democratic National Committee (DNC) figure focused on election integrity, sent a letter Monday to Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s administration threatening to sue them if they keep independent candidate Cornel West on the ballot in November. The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter, which calls for Virginia State Board of Elections Department Chairman O’Bannon, Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Susan J. Beals, Virginia Secretary of Administration Lyn McDermid and Members of the Board of Elections to “immediately” remove him from the ballot in the commonwealth.Marc Elias why are you keeping Cornell West down? Why can't the voters of Virginia have a candidate they want to vote for on the ballot? Afraid of democracy are we? Democracy is what the, Judiciary, DNC and MSM say it is. And if you are a disgruntled voter because some illegible voter cancels your vote. Or keeps your candidate on or off the ballot, tough shit, get over your American privilege.

I suppose the stories I'm going to highlight fall into the category of chicken and egg, but they do for sure illustrate how completely warped and twisted the Leftist mindset is. And from there, it's a very short walk indeed to extrapolate where they intend to take anyone who resists them (hint: a mass grave or gas chamber (assuming a future Dem junta grants a waiver for the drilling of gas and manufacture of bullets strictly for this purpose) and what they intend to teach future generations and indeed what's being taught in far too many schools as we speak. Meh, look no further than the campus of Columbia University but I digress.
The first item is from Tuesday night's pornographic donkey act of an alleged presidential debate. Literally on the eve of the anniversary of the 9/11/01 terrorist mass attack. Kamala Harris said this:
On the evening before the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, during which almost three thousand Americans were killed, Democrat VP Kamala Harris made the utterly preposterous claim during the presidential debate that Jan. 6 was the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War. There are a whole host of problems with Harris‘s statement, including the fact that America is a republic, not a democracy; that (as Donald Trump noted) the only people killed on J6 were Trump supporters murdered by Capitol police; and most J6 protesters were peaceful, although they have since been abused in jail and denied basic rights by the Biden-Harris administration. But since today is the anniversary of the infamous 9/11 attacks, it is particularly insensitive that Harris made her ridiculous claim yesterday. Democrats started the Civil War upon the election of Republican President Abraham Lincoln, because they refused to accept the results of an election that went against them (which Democrats always do when they lose), and they were afraid Lincoln would live up to his word of restricting slavery’s spread. The Civil War was the deadliest war in American history, with at least 620,000 casualties, and we can lay it at the door of the racist, anti-freedom Democratic Party. Fast forward to today, when a race-baiting, anti-freedom Democratic candidate totally ignored the tragedy of 9/11 to claim that a protest where no one but the protesters were killed was a major assault on democracy. “Donald Trump left us the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” Kamala lied. It was such an outrageous claim that my 16-year-old sister spontaneously observed to me, “Kamala said that just before the anniversary of 9/11!” Independent journalist Ian Miles Cheong had the same reaction.
Until my dying day: What happened on 1/6/21 was a false flag op orchestrated by Pelosi, and Deep State Intel and LE agencies/operatives. Where two innocent women were murdered by Pelosi's goons in the Capitol PD and others yet unidentified, Ashli Babbit gunned down by Michael Byrd and Roseanne Boyland beaten to death. And hundreds of others arrested, tossed into jail, many still rotting there all because they exercised their first amendment right of free speech. And of course Trump railroaded on multiple kangaroo court charges and most recently surviving a likely Deep State initiated assassination attempt in Butler PA. Which was not even mentioned at that so-called "debate"
But that's Kamala Harris and the mindset of everyone like her. Remember, in her and her compatriots' twisted reptilian minds, America is evil, racist and illegitimate. And on that terrible day of 9/11, Jeremiah Wright, Obama's Pazuzu-worshipping priest declared it was America's chickens coming home to roost. And speaking of Fowl and Foul, as horrendous as all of the aforementioned were and are, I give you something even more revolting, yet it reveals how we get people like Harris and Obama in power in the first place:
The father of an 11-year-old boy who was killed by a Haitian immigrant in Springfield, Ohio, said during a city commission meeting on Tuesday that he wishes his son was instead killed by an “old white man.” Aiden Clark was killed in August 2023, when a Haitian immigrant, Hermanio Joseph, 36, crossed over the center dividing line and crashed into a full school bus. The 11-year-old was ejected from the bus, which flipped over and then landed on him. More than 20 children were taken to the hospital. Joseph is now facing nine years behind bars after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter. He was not licensed to drive in Ohio. “Ya know, I wish that my son Aiden Clark was killed by a 60-year-old white man,” the boy’s father, Nathan Clark, said. “I bet you never thought anyone would ever say something so blunt. But if that guy killed my 11-year-old son, the incessant group of hate-spewing people would leave us alone.” “They make it seem as though our wonderful Aiden appreciates your hate, that we should follow their hate,” Clark, who is a teacher, said. “And look what you’ve done to us.” . . . “They can vomit all the hate they want about illegal immigrants, the border crisis, and even untrue claims about fluffy pets being ravaged and eaten by community members,” he said. “But they are … not allowed to mention Aiden Clark.” “My son Aiden Clark was not murdered. He was accidentally killed by an immigrant from Haiti,” the father added. “In order to live like Aiden, you need to accept everyone.”
This ghastly, despicable bastard! Of course, he's also a teacher. Makes perfect sense. Slap a burqa on this fiend, plunk him down in Jenin and you have a typical "Palestinian" woman cheerfully sending off her kids with suicide belts to blow themselves up on buses, and in Pizzerias filled with Jews, or fly themselves into skyscrapers while ululating with orgasmic glee. Debate the debate all you want. But until the cancer of this mindset is excised from our midst, we will not survive much longer.
Have a good day.

Is the American job market now #rigged so that job openings are advertised to illegal aliens before they're opened to Americans?
I was alarmed by claims that a non-governmental organization (NGO) called Switchboard appears to have insinuated itself into so many job application processes and procedures that it almost controls the market. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be using that dominance to help Americans - rather the opposite, if reports are correct. This is only being reported by one guy on Twitter, so don't bet the farm on it. But I definitely will be hoping that Christoper Rufo looks into this and tells us what's what. The Biden-Harris Administration is slow-rolling approvals for Space X test flights, once again weaponizing the federal government against a private citizen they have a political disagreement with. The Haitian Invasion of Ohio has created a lot of buzz. There are a lot of unexplained aspects of it that people find odd. One of these strange happenings is that locals reported that the jobs the Haitians came for were never advertised to the local population. So how did the Haitians find out about them? It turns out that a network of federal grant recipient organizations have quietly seized control of nearly the entire job market in the US and work to ensure that openings remain "hidden" so that refugee's can take them ahead of American citizens. How many job openings remain hidden? The internal estimates of this network put the number of hidden openings at 80% of all available jobs. EIGHTY PERCENT The way that this network has seized control of the labor market of the United States is easy enough to understand. Firstly, it has positioned itself as a way to remove recruiting costs for employers. Next, it offers employers laborers who can work for lower wages by also providing it's "refugees" with a plethora of social welfare not available to a typical American worker. Finally, it can provide access to the entire global labor market by setting the conditions of "refugee" status to efectively cover anyone in the world. If an employer needs nurses, janitors, programmers, police or literally any kind of worker the network can provide them to employers at a lower rate of pay than what an American citizen would require due to not having access to the same welfare benefits. These globally sourced scab workers don't require health insurance and have all living expenses subsidized by federal programs. If the typical American had all their health, food, and housing costs covered they would also be able to work for a fraction of their existing wages.
SpaceX's Starship promises to revolutionize spaceflight by reducing launch costs by two orders of magnitude -- that's a 99% savings -- and vastly expanding current limits on the size and mass of what can be lifted into orbit and deep space. If SpaceX can get permission to perform the necessary flight tests, that is -- and the FAA is dragging its feet. ... The Starship has been ready for weeks. The Biden-Harris administration keeps finding new excuses for delays. ... Biden-Harris would have us lose the New Space Race -- putting our entire national security at risk -- in a fit of partisan pique against the man whose other company, X, had the temerity to restore free speech to just one social media platform. That's damnably un-American.

In fact, the Disney Groomer News Network "moderators" lied themselves in claiming that current abortion protocols don't allow doctors to "have a discussion" about the fate of a born-alive abortion-surviving baby, as the former Virginia Democrat Governor admitted on the air.
Democrat lawmakers have repeatedly expressed support for laws that would allow abortionists to end the lives of babies who survive abortions -- and voted against laws that protect babies who survive abortions. That's a fact that former President Donald Trump highlighted during Tuesday night's debate, drawing the annoyance of Vice President Kamala Harris and the admonishment of debate moderator Linsey Davis. "There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it is born," Davis said Tuesday evening, as Trump argued that some Democrats support executing babies after birth. Trump was referring to 2019 comments made by former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, a Democrat, as he discussed Democrat Virginia state Rep. Kathy Tran's House Bill 2491. "If a mother is in labor...the infant would be delivered," Northam explained. "The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated, if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother."
Advertisement Northam did not specify what would happen next, after this discussion. He continued then: "So I think this is really blown out of proportion. We want the government not to be involved in these decisions."

Six out of the Ten Say They're Now Voting for Trump.
Here's a point for those who say that the debate performance is much, much less important than the fundamentals of the race -- voters want a change from Biden, and voters saw through Kamala's well-rehearsed talking around the issue and realized she was double-talking while doubling down on Biden economic and immigration policies.
Or at least that's what I hope this single ten-person panel means. Panels are made for 1970s rumpus rooms. Ed Morrissey, quoting from Reuters:
Reasons for backing Trump? I guess they were looking for Kamala Harris to perform so well she overcame the fundamentals of the race. But she didn't. She just turned in a well-rehearsed, canned-answer performance.
Reuters interviewed 10 people who were still unsure how they were going to vote in the Nov. 5 election before they watched the debate. Six said afterward they would now either vote for Trump or were leaning toward backing him. Three said they would now back Harris and one was still unsure how he would vote.
Ed Morrissey comments that Kamala Harris won on style points, and thought she was winning while continuing to hide her actual policy positions.
The Trump converts said they trusted him more on the economy, even though all said they did not like him as a person. They said their personal financial situation had been better when he was president between 2017-2021. Some singled out his proposal to tax foreign imports, although economists say that is likely to raise prices. Four of those six also said Harris did not convince them she would pursue different economic policies than Democratic President Joe Biden, a Democrat they largely blame for the high cost of living.
One point I wish Trump made more forcefully is that Harris is trying to pretend that both of them are unknowns, and no one knows how either will perform in office. But we do know how they'd perform in office. Trump was already president, and the world did not end, despite all the many, many claims from the "smart" set that it would. In fact, the economy rose to record heights and we had something close to world peace. And we know how Kamala's performed in office, too. This isn't a battle of two unknowns upon which we are free to project our wishes. These are two very known qualities (particularly in Trump's case). Trump pointed out, at the end (when most stopped watching), that Kamala keeps saying "I'll do this, I'll do that" but never answers: Why aren't you doing that now, then? In fact, why hasn't it already been done?! He equally should have pointed out that Kamala keeps claiming "Trump will do this, Trump will do that" while ignoring that Trump was in office for four years and did none of the things she's claiming he's determined to do. This Pennsylvania voter from CNN's panel makes this point much more clearly than Trump did:
However, that's not what voters wanted out of the debate. Harris came into it as a cipher, and that's the way she left it as well, thanks in large part to the efforts by ABCs moderators. They rarely pressed her for specifics on policies, and only lightly challenged her wide-ranging flip-flops over the last eight weeks or so. Only a couple of days after finally producing an issues page and nearly two months of refusing to talk to reporters (except for 26 minutes on CNN), undecided voters wanted some "meat on the bones," as one focus-group member told Reuters. And they didn't get it. Harris may have succeeded in zinging Trump, but at least in this group, her strategy to skate on issues and just disqualify Trump failed to land.

How Biden helped take over apartment buildings for Tren de Aragua:
See the article for the details of that. Long story short, Biden is shelling out billions of taxpayer dollars to jurisdictions. The money is scooped up by non-governmental organizations acting as shady housing companies, many headed by people with no experience in the field, but very eager to take huge sums of money to set illegals up in rattrap buildings. Basically, Biden is spending billions of taxypayer money to buy free apartments for illegals, and keeping it under the radar so that no one makes a fuss. Obviously the Invasionary Forces' media doesn't report on it. This is certainly what's going on in Springfield, Ohio, as well. I saw reports of people complaining about "housing companies" who brought in the 15-20,000 Unhoused Newcomers without alerting the residents that an invasion was on the way.
Aurora, Colorado, is normally a quiet, nondescript suburb 30 minutes outside Denver. In recent months, however, the city has been at the center of a national scandal. Beginning last year, a large influx of Venezuelan migrants, some of them members of the notorious Tren de Aragua street gang, reportedly had "taken over" a series of apartment buildings in Aurora--and unleashed terror. Last month, Venezuelan migrants were allegedly implicated in an attempted homicide, an arrest of purported gang members, and shocking security footage that showed heavily armed men forcibly entering one of the apartments. In response to the chaos, police mobilized en masse and vacated one of the complexes after the city, alleging code violations, deemed it uninhabitable. An obvious question: How did members of Venezuelan gangs suddenly find themselves in suburban Colorado? To answer this, we have conducted an exclusive investigation, which leads to a troubling conclusion: the Biden administration, in partnership with Denver authorities and publicly subsidized NGOs, provided the funding and logistics to place a large number of Venezuelan migrants in Aurora, creating a magnet for crime and gangs. And, worse, some of the nonprofits involved appear to be profiting handsomely from the situation.
Skipping ahead:
Read the whole thing.
We spoke with a former CBZ Management employee, who, on condition of anonymity, explained how the process worked. Last summer, the employee said, representatives from Papagayo began working with CBZ Management to place Venezuelan migrants in the company's Aurora apartment complexes. When a Venezuelan individual or family needed housing, the NGO would contact the regional property manager, who then matched them with available apartments. It was a booming business. According to the employee, Papagayo arranged hundreds of contracts with the property manager. The NGO provided up to two months of rental assistance, as many migrants did not have, or were unable to open, bank accounts. Within six months, according to the employee, approximately 80 percent of the residents of these buildings were Venezuelan migrants. The employee also noted that the buildings saw gang activity and violence.
The employee, however, alleges that these agreements were made on false pretenses. To convince the hesitant employee to accept the migrants, Papagayo made assurances that the tenants had stable jobs and income. With limited English and facing a minimum six-month wait for work permits, though, many migrants were ineligible for legal employment, struggled to find stable jobs, and ultimately fell behind on rent. This was only the beginning. As the Venezuelan migrants settled in the apartments, they caused lots of trouble. According to a confidential legal report we have obtained, based on witness reports, the apartments saw a string of crimes, including trespassing, assault, extortion, drug use, illegal firearm possession, human trafficking, and sexual abuse of minors. Each of the three apartment complexes has since shown a localized spike in crime. Volunteers who spoke with us on condition of anonymity said they were initially eager to assist with migrant resettlement but grew disillusioned with the NGOs running it. "I am passionate about helping migrants and I have been honestly shocked at the way the city is sending funds to an organization that clearly is not equipped to handle it," one volunteer said.

Pundits Said Harris Won the Debate. Undecided Voters Weren't So Sure. This is helpful: Almost all voters already know Trump, including all of his weaknesses, so Trump showing his weaknesses last night isn't any kind of Late Breaking News to them.
Voters said the vice president talked about a sweeping vision to fix the country's most stubborn problems. But they wanted the fine print.
The reporters interviewed voters in five states and asked them whether the debate changed their views on the presidential race. For weeks, undecided voters have been asking for more substance. So it was perhaps no accident that Vice President Kamala Harris's first words during the presidential debate on Tuesday were, "I am actually the only person on this stage who has a plan." Some Americans might need more convincing. Bob and Sharon Reed, both 77-year-old retired teachers who live on a farm in central Pennsylvania, had high hopes for the debate between Ms. Harris and former President Donald Trump. They thought that they would come away with a candidate to support in November. But, Ms. Reed said, "It was all disappointing." The couple ended the night wondering how the costly programs each candidate supported -- Mr. Trump's tariffs and Ms. Harris's aid to young families and small businesses -- would help a couple like them, living on a fixed income that has not kept pace with inflation. They said they didn't hear detailed answers on immigration or foreign policy, either. ...
[N]ot all voters, especially those undecided few who could sway the election, were effusive about the vice president's performance. In interviews, these undecided voters acknowledged that Ms. Harris seemed more presidential than Mr. Trump. And they said she laid out a sweeping vision to fix some of the country's most stubborn problems. But they also said she did not seem much different from Mr. Biden, and they wanted change. And most of all, what they wanted to hear -- and didn't -- was the fine print. Voters said they were glad she has a tax and economic plan. But they want to know how it will become law when Washington is so polarized. They know she wants to give assistance to first-time home buyers, but doubted that it was realistic. "She tried a couple times to say, 'I want to do this and I want to do that,' and that's nice promises," Ms. Reed said. "I hope she can get them through Congress."
... A vast majority -- 90 percent -- of likely voters nationwide said they pretty much know all they need to about him, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll released this week before the debate. And the debate seemed to contain few surprises for them.

He also "edited" the death records to hide the number of grandmas and grandpas he murdered.
The "editing" took the form of categorizing deaths caused by covid as "unknown" causes of death, claiming a death whose cause was known to be covid could have been any number of things. Note this is the exact opposite approach they took when they wanted to scare us all with covid, when they attributed even car accident deaths to covid if the person tested positive for covid. Long story short: they constantly "edited" the reports and reclassified deaths so that they could not be attributed to Cuomo's murderous decision to fill nursing homes filled with those absolutely most endangered by covid with covid. Also note that nursing homes simply do not have the expertise or equipment to properly isolate covid patients and sterilize all objects they come in contact with. Certainly they do not have the pressurized air wings to keep airborne diseases out. But Cuomo's donors, the major hospital corporations, did not want to deal with all this, so into the nursing homes they went.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo allegedly himself "edited" a state report that deflated New York's COVID-19 death toll in nursing homes -- which his top aides pressured health officials into releasing, despite knowing the issue would turn into a "great debacle," according to the stunning results of an investigation by a US House committee. Cuomo's office "absolutely" signed off on the disastrous directive early in the pandemic forcing coronavirus patients back into nursing homes -- leading to as many as 9,000 excess COVID deaths -- the final congressional report and witness testimonies exclusively obtained by The Post show. The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic conducted the probe and majority staff released the findings ahead of a public hearing with the 66-year-old ex-governor on Tuesday. The investigators accused Cuomo in a memo Monday of making "demonstrably false" statements as part of a "cover-up," citing conflicting testimony from his top aides.
Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo "absolutely" signed off on the disastrous directive early in the pandemic that led to as many as 9,000 excess COVID deaths, a congressional report and witness testimonies exclusively obtained by The Post show. "This is going to be the great debacle in the history books," wrote Cuomo aide Stephanie Benton in a June 7, 2020, email about the nursing home death count. "Don't u [sic] see how bad this is? Or do we admit error and give up?"
Four of Cuomo's aides told the House investigators they believed the email from Benton was likely dictated by the governor himself. "Within hours" of the missive, New York health commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker received "talking points" that were used to the audit on the nursing home deaths, which was released on July 6 and excluded out-of-facility fatalities. The three-term Democrat and his inner circle "reviewed" and "edited" the state Department of Health report that vastly undercounted the fatalities, according to the documents. According to Cuomo's then-director of operations, Dr. Jim Malatras, who served as a member of the governor's COVID task force, top aide Melissa DeRosa "laid out the points that she wanted to have touched upon in the report." "The report that I was editing had the total number of fatalities in all the charts until Ms. DeRosa intervened," Malatras testified to the subcommittee. "She was constantly editing it, Mr. Cuomo was editing it," Malatras said in his testimony.

Brian StelterThe creed of leftwing Marxist "fact"-checkers: "It's a lie because we need it to be." I already mentioned the leftwing habit of denying a particular -- that the woman eating a neighbor's cat was a Haitian or an immigrant -- and letting that denial "stand in" for a denial of the entire story. The Federalist has gotten hold of a police call about Haitians slaughtering four geese is Springfield. I assume the Racist Cops were making all of this up just so it could be later leaked to Far Right Extremist websites.
@brianstelter "Migrants are stealing and eating pets" is both a racist lie AND a meme. People like the owner of this website are spreading the claim and laughing about it at the same time -- further poisoning the info environment.
You may be worried: "Because I read this racist post, am I now a racist?" Good news -- you never weren't.
A caller reported to police a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese in Springfield, Ohio in exclusive audio obtained by The Federalist. A recording of a police phone call obtained by The Federalist reveals a local resident reporting a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese in Springfield, Ohio two weeks ago.
"I'm sitting here, I'm riding on the trail, I'm going to my orientation for my job today, and I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of 'em, they all had geese in their hand," the caller tells the public services dispatcher in the audio recording of the call. According to a police report reviewed by The Federalist, the call was placed on Aug. 26, before the Columbus suburb located roughly 50 miles from the state capital became nationally known this week for epitomizing the nation's migrant crisis. The caller told the dispatcher he saw four migrants in total, two men and two women, each carrying a single goose. "I was trying to get my phone out and I was trying to make it to this orientation on time," the caller continued. "I'm time crunching here, and I saw that, I'm like, 'Yeah this has got to be reported," he tells the non-emergency police dispatcher. "How many geese did they have?" the dispatcher asks the caller in the recording. "Uh, they each had one," he replies. The caller says he spotted the Haitians carrying the geese at an intersection between Water and Warder Street, a location that does exist in Springfield and is confirmed in the police report later filed about the incident.
