Wednesday Morning Rant

Framing

In any account of any event, there are always two primary components: the facts, and the framing of those facts. Facts are irrefutable. They are, or they are not. There can be a lie or a misapprehension presented as a fact and thus facts are subject to - in the language of our day - debunking, but it is still a matter of fact as such. It is or it isn't. Facts, though, are only part of the story. Sometimes they aren't even the dominant part. The other part is how those facts are framed.

For any account, it's in the framing that biases, ideologies, agendas, etc. surface. The selection of which facts to include and how to present them is how to lead the reader to the "correct" conclusion about those facts. There was stupendous example of this in Mother Jones yesterday (h/t Gentlemen, this is junta manifest). It's a story of a woman from Georgia who died following an out-of-state abortion.

The Morning Report — 9/18/24

whopiGoebbels.jpg

Good Morning Kids. Wow, has it really been eight years since the Morning Report debuted? A lot has happened to me professionally and personally and what a ride it has been for all of us. First and foremost, my thanks and appreciation to Ace for giving me the opportunity to host this forum, to my fellow co-bloggers for their help and support and most crucially to all of you fantastic commenters whose combination of snark, erudition and knowledge make the Morning Report, IMHO, the best daily forum and news aggregation site out there.

I cannot begin to thank all of you for your support and for being here and making this place what it is.

So, let's start off with a literal bang! While given the fact that we can control the weather, is it really any surprise that Israel could pull off one of the most daring, retaliatory strikes in history. If only it could have prevented the events of 10/7 in the first place, but the IDF and the Israeli people are going to have to sort that out for themselves as to who and what is to blame for that equally massive failure. In any case, given who and what is running this country – Kamalorama Hussein Obama-Harris, is this item really surprising:

Israel did not take responsibility for the pager attack that crippled Hezbollah’s comms and took out a chunk of their officer corps. It certainly did not go ahead and describe how it was done for the media. That’s tradecraft. And you don’t reveal it.

But the New York Times had a report detailing how it happened that same evening. I won’t link to it as it carries the byline of fake news fabulist Sheera Frenkel who had previously carried water for Hamas and lied that the Islamic terror group had not kidnapped and killed three Israeli teens.

The report is described as being based on briefings received by American officials.

The material leaked to the Times comes from “American and other officials briefed on the operation” and the “American and other officials spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitive nature of the operation.”

. . .Under Obama, leaks of Israeli operations were standard procedure. But if this was Biden-Harris admin policy, it doesn’t just hurt Israel, it hurts America. The leak undermines claims that we didn’t know about it beforehand. And encourages Hezbollah to target our people as the weaker link in the Oct 7 war. Some officials in this junta clearly don’t care, but they could also find themselves in the line of fire.

Which, considering the players involved, puts this story about assassination attempt #2 – with no doubt more possibly in the wings – in a new light:

Ryan Wesley Routh, the 58-year-old man who is suspected of an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, had connections in Iran that are leading some security experts to question if there was Iranian involvement. A New York Times reporter who had interviewed Routh last year wrote on Sunday that Routh was working to recruit former Afghan special operations soldiers who had fled to Iran to go fight in Ukraine. . . The reporter, Thomas Gibbons-Neff, wrote that when he was writing an article on volunteer fighters in Ukraine last year, his former Afghan colleague and friend Najim Rahim had put him in touch with Routh, who he had learned about from a source of his in Iran, a former Afghan special operations soldier. A number of U.S.-trained Afghan special operations forces had fled to Iran after the disastrous Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. Since those forces were trained by U.S. special operations forces, the Afghan commandos’ escape into Iran potentially delivered “closely guarded secrets on U.S. special operators” to Iran, according to Foreign Policy.

Whether the Iranian connection is merely incidental, there's also this connection worth noting:

A Pakistani national with ties to Iran pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges related to an Iranian plot to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

A federal judge in Brooklyn ordered Asif Merchant detained pending trial at the Monday hearing in which Merchant pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to commit an act of terrorism transcending national boundaries and taking part in a murder-for-hire plot, according to ABC News.

Merchant pleaded not guilty the same day that another man suspected of targeting Trump for assassination appeared in a federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida. That man, who was arrested shortly after allegedly fleeing from a sniper spot at Trump International Golf Course, was arraigned on charges of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

So, if I even attempt to connect the dots of Routh and Merchant to Iran that would light up the switchboards in the non-existent wink-wink Nina Jankowicz Merrick Garland Ministry of Truth, nein? Forget the fact that the junta in power and the generationally-embedded anti-American ticks in Foggy Bottom have been trying to replace Israel with Iran as the top dog in the Middle East going back at least as far back as Obama, if not before. Considering what's happening in Springfield Ohio and Obama's culinary proclivities, maybe the word dog is inadvisable in this context.

Meh, who needs Iranian, or Pakistani cutouts when you have a slew of psycho trannies running around, armed to the teeth and hopped up on hatred for enemies the media brainwash them into believing are targeting them.

And speaking of Ministry of Truth:

Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said in 2022 that there is “no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech.” “Yeah, years ago, it was the little things, telling people to vote the day after the election, and we kind of brushed them off. Now we know it’s intimidation at the ballot box,” responded Walz. “It’s undermining the idea that mail-in ballots aren’t legal. I think we need to push back on this. There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy. Tell the truth, where the voting places are, who can vote, who’s able to be there.”It remains unclear if Walz was speaking about censorship on social media or actual government regulations on individuals spreading misinformation.

The problem is who gets to determine what is and what is not the truth. Well, even a cursory look at human history and tragically even American history will inform you of exactly who gets to be the arbiter.

Well, eight years has been a good long run. And while my doctors are optimistic that I have a very good shot at beating the odds of my cancer returning in the next 10 years or perhaps longer, they told me that I likely could die of something totally unrelated. Probably in prison for writing this column after being denied medical treatment, or food and water.

So here's to another eight years. Meh, it was probably wading through the madness on a daily basis to write this that gave me a brain tumor in the first place!

God bless you all, and have a great day.

It still makes shit up, because it's a language model (a bad one) and not a fact model. It is somewhat improved in making excuses for its lies, but that's about it.
"What worries me more is that in the future, when we ask AI to solve complex problems, like curing cancer or improving solar batteries, it might internalize these goals so strongly that it becomes willing to break its guardrails to achieve them," Hobbhahn told me.

I’m not that tinfoil hat guy, I’m actually a very sane human being and I think there’s a lot of conspiracy theories out there that are absolutely insane. You better believe after, you know, twice in five weeks, you better start entertaining all of those scenarios, because something is very, very wrong, and it could have been very, very different,” Eric Trump

The Violent Storming of the Border In March of This Year Included 100 Suspected Tren De Aragua Gang Members

Kamala Hoorish still won't say she'll close the border and send the illegals packing.

More than 100 suspected members of Tren de Aragua (TdA) were a part of the group that violently stormed the border at El Paso, Texas in March -- as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has declared the Venezuelan prison gang a foreign terrorist organization.

"Earlier this year, more than 100 suspected TdA members were arrested after the riots at the El Paso border, when immigrants assaulted the Texas National Guard," Gov. Abbott revealed Monday, as he announced a plan to crack down on the group's growing presence across the US.

The wild border rush, captured exclusively by The Post, saw hundreds of illegal migrants break through razor wire to dash into the US -- shoving Lone Star State troops in the process.

In one case, a migrant stomped on a service member's knee as they tried to desperately make their way across the besieged southern border.

Abbott labeled the Venezuelan gang a "foreign terrorist organization" as he detailed his plan to quash the gang's threat.

"Texas is aggressively going after these foreign terrorist organizations of TdA," the governor declared during the Monday press conference.

The plan would institute a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for TdA smugglers bringing people into Texas, create a database to track members of the gang and beef up law enforcement's capabilities to target the transnational criminal organization.

Don't worry -- Biden's DOJ, headed by straight-shooting lawman Merrick Garland, dealt harshly with the foreign terrorist invaders:

Following the March melee, a judge dismissed charges against 211 of the migrants accused of rioting and then Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) let dozens of them go free into the US.

Since then, the gang has created footholds across the country, allegedly taking over apartments in Colorado, seizing hotels near the Texas border in El Paso and shooting cops in New York.

...

[A border official] called out the "weak-minded" Harris-Biden administration for allowing the gang to infiltrate the US due to the lack of thorough background checking, which he likened to an "honor system."

This is because Venezuela doesn't share any criminal history information to US officials.

In testimony before a committee panel last year, Border Patrol chief Rodney Scott blasted the "vetting" as akin to referencing them "against a blank sheet of paper."

Two Days After One of Her Political Allies Tried to Kill Trump, Hillary Clinton Again Chums the Waters with Assassin-Bait and Demands Everyone Repeat How Much of a "Danger" Trump Is to America Itself

She's getting frustrated that the first two assassins the Democrat-Media Party recruited weren't quite up to snuff.

A day after a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton said Monday that the former president posed a "danger to our country and the world."

"The press is still not able to cover Trump the way that they should," Clinton told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. "They careen from one outrage to the next ... I don't understand why it's so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is. You know, the late great journalist Harry Evans, one time said that journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity, and by that, he said, I mean they should cover the object."

"Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump. His demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world. And stick with it."

The Clintons head an international criminal organization, undermine America at every turn, and pose a danger to the world, some might say. "We came, we saw, we killed him"? Remember that?

Remember the dead of Benghazi? And Hillary Clinton deflecting blame by ginning up a hate-panic against a guy who made a cheapie internet video? And got her Deep State buddies in the DOJ to send him to prison for ticky-tack charges?

At least one is credibly alleged to be a pedophile as well. Who knows what depravities this ugly drunken sow gets up to at night.

She knows Trump is going to release the Epstein files if he wins is officially acknowledged as the winner.

Christopher Rufo: I Have Verified Video of Two Cats Being Barbecued on a Grill in Dayton, OH in 2023

Oh it's Dayton Ohio so obviously all the reports from Springfield Ohio are right-wing conspiracy theory hate crimes.

Our investigation begins in a run-down neighborhood of Dayton, Ohio, the closest major city to Springfield, about a half-hour's drive away. We identified a social media post, dated August 25, 2023, with a short video depicting what appear to be two skinned cats on top of a blue barbeque. "Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood," reads the text, referring to Parkwood Drive. The video then pans down to two live cats walking across the grass in front of a run-down fence, with a voice on the video warning: "There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin', man. Look like his homies on the grill!"

We spoke with the author of the video, who asked to remain anonymous but confirmed its time, location, and authenticity. He told us that he was picking up his son last summer, when he noticed the unusual situation. "It was some Africans that stay right next door to my kid's mother," he said. "This African dude next door had the damn cat on the grill."

We then identified the home by matching it to the visuals in the video and cross-referencing them with the eyewitness. When we knocked on the door of the first unit, a family answered, telling us they were from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and that all of the surrounding units were occupied by other African migrants.

One of the residents told us that her former neighbors, also from Africa, had lived in the adjacent unit until last month. They had a blue grill and the father would find meat in the neighborhood. "Her dad was going to find meat," she said. "Her dad was going, holding a knife." The current residents also showed us a blue grill of the same make and model as in the video, which the former neighbors had abandoned after they moved out. There were at least ten cats wandering around the complex and another resident complained that they were breeding on the property.

...

To be clear: this single incident does not confirm every particularity of Trump's statement. The town is Dayton, not Springfield; cats alone were on the grill, not cats and dogs. But it does break the general narrative peddled by the establishment media and its "fact checkers," who insisted that this has never happened, and that any suggestion otherwise is somehow an expression of racism.

It takes only a single exception, however, to falsify a hypothesis, and the logical next step, for any honest broker, is to ask if it is happening more often, and elsewhere....

There is a legitimate debate to be had about migration and culture. All immigrants bring with them a particular tradition, which, in the case of countries such as Haiti and the Congo, can include practices that many Americans find disturbing....

These revelations do not mean that assimilation is impossible, but the establishment will need to engage in a more honest debate, rather than simply smearing critics as racists and conspiracy theorists. One can make the case for migration, but one cannot, at the same time, deny that it comes with costs--which, in this case, seem to include a pair of flayed cats on a blue barbeque in Dayton, Ohio.

Video of the cats on the barbecue here, if the link still works. It might have been taken down for being too upsetting.

The left is claiming that these false conspiracy theory RUSSIAN desimformazinaya hate crimes are causing Real Violence, by which they mean, fake bomb threat hoaxes being called into Springfield area government offices:

Alexander S. Vindman
@AVindman

Donald Trump can really reduce the temperature for the remainder of the election and condemn political violence of any stripe. He can start by telling his supporters it is not okay to call in bomb threats against Haitians and attack immigrants or political opponents.

Deb Heine, Dissident
@NiceDeb
Why do media hacks keep assuming in their reporting these bomb threats in Springfield, Ohio are coming from Trump supporters? We don't know that. Leftists commit fake hate crimes all the time to further a political agenda. Hate crime hoax database https://fakehatecrimes.org has hundreds of examples.

Note that DeWine now confirms, as Deb Heine correctly forecasted, that all of these "bomb threats" are in fact hoaxes. Hoaxes called in by Trump supporters? No, hoaxes called in from overseas, and from "one specific country" which DeWine says is still trying to interfere in our election.

I don't know why he's being cagey about which country. The fact that he says this country is still trying to "interfere in our election" suggests he means the hoax bomb threats are called in from.... drum roll...

RUSSIA.

So the bomb hoaxes seem to be coming from RUSSIA, attempting to stir up controversy and discord.

And the fat little hatemonger Alexander Vindman is therefore promoting RUSSIAN disinformation.

Will there be any consequences?

No, of course not. He's a Regime operative.

"Worse Than Dobbs:" Leftwing of Court Illegally Leaks to Damage Majority Again

Is Roberts once again going to call for a deliberately-toothless investigation with no power to compel people to disclose their cell-phone records? With no one swearing, under oath, they're not the leaker?

That's what I imagine he'll do.

The latest leaks about the Supreme Court's internal deliberations on three major cases involving former President Donald Trump could be coming from a high level member of the minority, former clerks and long time court observers told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Drawing on "details from the justices' private memos, documentation of the proceedings and interviews with court insiders, both conservative and liberal," a Sunday report published by The New York Times offered a window into the the justices' decision making process on three major cases, including Trump v. United States, where the Supreme Court held former presidents are immune from prosecution for official acts taken in office. The report mainly targets Chief Justice John Roberts, highlighting his efforts to secure a consensus on controversial cases.

"This is another disturbing leak from the Court, and Congress should look into it because clearly a member of the minority is conspiring with the Left to destroy the Court," JCN President Carrie Severino told the DCNF.

...

South Texas College of Law Houston professor Josh Blackman argued in Reason that the New York Times' report was "far worse than the Dobbs leak" in 2022, when Alito's decision overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked to Politico. He noted the latest leaks are "systematic and thorough," requiring insights from "so many different people."

"Moreover, all of this comes after the Dobbs leak when Chief Justice Roberts (apparently) put strict limitations on access to Court information," he wrote. "What did all of those measures accomplish? Apparently not much."

Blackman wrote that he believes Justice Elena Kagan's absence from the reporting suggests she or her surrogates are behind the leaks.

"If Kagan is willing to publicly undermine her colleagues in a speech at the Ninth Circuit, why would she do any less off-the-record?" he wrote. "Moreover, this entire story is consistent with Kagan's MO, and describing the Court as bending over backwards for Trump."

...

Ilya Shaprio, director of constitutional studies at the Manhattan Institute, told the DCNF the leaks are "a further reflection of the left's discontent at having lost control of the Court."

"This is all part of a campaign to smear and pressure justices, and ultimately to delegitimize one of the few remaining institutions that hews to the rule of law and can resist progressive fascism," Shaprio said.

Carrie Severino
@JCNSeverino

Terrible leaks of confidential Court documents like this are deliberately aimed at intimidating and pressuring the originalist justices into changing their opinions on key cases in the future.

And if they don't -- their reputations will be dragged through the mud and they will subjected to targeted harassment and even potential violence.

We are at this unprecedented and dangerous moment because the Left is waging a full-blown political campaign to delegitimize and destroy the Supreme Court so they can exert total control over it.

Hundreds of Hezballah Terrorists Hurt By Online Hate Speech and Israel Remotely Detonating Their Pagers But Mostly by Israel Remotely Detonating Their Pagers

Niiiiiice!

My only reservation is that any brilliant cover operation can usually only be executed once. You rely on the target not even knowing that your exploit is even a possibility. Once you execute the exploit, your ignorance-based advantage is gone. Hezballah and all other terrorists now know to check their electronic devices regularly.

As with killing the Hamas leader in Iran with a bomb slipped under his bed, Israel is burning through a lot of the covert op tricks it's been slipping up its sleeve for decades, and these tricks will be unavailable (or at least, less reliable) in the future.

Still, this is a pretty existential fight and I guess Israel doesn't want to go down holding any of its arrows in its quivers, unused.

Hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists were reportedly injured in separate explosions across Lebanon on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

The widespread detonation was the result of a large number of the terrorists' communication and "wireless" devices suddenly exploding in Lebanon and Syria, according to Axios' Barak Ravid and Reuters. Though it's still unclear who was behind the attack, it comes a day after Israel warned that it was considering taking new actions against an increasingly aggressive Hezbollah.

Israel and Hezbollah have since been engaged in cross-fire skirmishes that have only grown more frequent and sizable since Oct. 7, the date Hamas attacked Israel and started a regional war. The Israeli Defense Minister reportedly told a U.S. envoy on Monday that the time for a diplomatic solution had "passed because Hezbollah continues to tie itself to Hamas and refuses to end the conflict," according to Axios.

It was the "biggest security breach" Hezbollah has experienced since it started engaging with Israel last year, a senior Hezbollah commander told Reuters.

Are you ready for this casualty estimate? I don't think you are.

A current total of 2,800 people, including terrorists, are believed to be injured or killed, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry cited by Axios.

I guess Lebanon could be inflating those numbers, thinking, incorrectly, that a lot of Hezballah terrorists dead or with their fingers and faces half-blown of will elicit sympathy.

What it elicits are Glory Boners.

How long before they start claiming that it was mostly "women and children" talking on Hezballah's phones?

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon was reportedly injured in one of the explosions, according to The Jerusalem Post.

LOL.

More at the link.

mossadhello.jpg

Below, a couple of videos of the small explosions. There is some collateral damage, although the explosions are small enough that I think the non-targets just got light damage from the pocket-bombs.

CNN "Analyst:" The Bad Thing About These Assassination Attempts We're Inciting Is That They Might Benefit Trump Politically

Not so hidden meaning: These assassination attempts we're inciting will help Trump politically, unless we stop missing and actually murder the president.

CNN's Juliette Kayyem lamented the possibility that former President Donald Trump could benefit politically after a second assassination attempt over the weekend, calling the situation a "problem" and "unfortunate."

...

Kayyem continued: "And the reason why this is, you know, in some ways, you know, you said how close the election is, the problem is this is a safety issue that is being thrown into a very intense political environment in which the very fact of an assassination, a constitutional moment, because it's, it could have impacted voters, will be used for political purposes."

"And that, to me, is, is just as not as a, you know, exceptionally unfortunate, because whatever your beliefs are, we do deserve to have campaigns that are not part that where violence isn't being used as either a sword or a shield," she added.

Chris Cuomo, meanwhile, gets close to admitting that these assassins are incited and encouraged by his friends at CNN, and asks why people aren't "apologizing" to Trump. Like I said, he doesn't quite say the words but he seems to be aware that the left is programming assassins to kill. He doesn't say why people should be apologizing to Trump.

If he did, the left would start inciting assassins against him.

Of Course: The Deep State Ignored Multiple Warnings About the Assassin They Recruited and Set to Kill the President

Is it even a conspiracy when they're doing it right out in the open?

Apparently the left's Red Flag laws don't apply to their Manchurian Candidate killers.

Ryan Wesley Routh, accused of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump, had been flagged multiple times to law enforcement for his dangerous behavior prior to his arrest on Sunday. Despite multiple reports to the FBI, State Department, Customs and Border Protection, and Interpol about his "predatory" behavior, and having a firearm despite being a felon, no action was taken.

Key Details:

Chelsea Walsh, who encountered Routh in Ukraine, described him as "predatory" and reported him to Customs and Border Protection in 2022. Walsh also filed reports with the FBI and Interpol in 2023, telling the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that neither Customs and Border Protection nor the FBI followed up on her reports.

Sarah Adams, a former CIA officer, described Routh as a "whack job" and "fraudster." Routh falsely claimed to be recruiting Afghan soldiers for Ukraine, sending messages on Signal and WhatsApp that were reviewed by the WSJ. These claims were denied by Ukrainian officials, and aid groups reported him to the State Department.

In 2019, Routh was also investigated by the FBI after a tipster reported that he possessed a firearm, despite being a convicted felon. According to an FBI official, the tip was initially taken seriously, but the investigation was ultimately closed when the individual who reported the information could not provide verification or further evidence.

I hope Ron DeSantis investigates the FBI, DOJ, DHS, and Secret Service. They're the real criminals here.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

American Theater is in the doldrums. Sure, if you want to spend $200 you can go see one of 87 cookie-cutter musicals, complete with forgettable music. Or several comedies, which aren't all that funny, or even a few serious plays, at least one of which will be guaranteed to set your teeth on edge!

Why?

Here's why.

George Bernard Shaw is one of the great playwrights of the West. You might not like his politics, but the man could write! His work used to be a fixture in NYC, but he seems to have fallen out of favor, undoubtedly because he used big words that current actors can't pronounce, and big ideas that directors can't understand.

Never fear! The Woke insanity has come to the rescue of Shaw! One of his better known plays, The Devil's Disciple, is coming to Broadway! I got the mail blurb yesterday and was pleased. I like Shaw very much, I saw TDD when I was a wee lad, and would love to see it again. But looking more carefully, I noticed a few oddities...an all-woman cast? What the hell!

And then the zinger:

In this new adaptation, female ferocity rules as this legendary and almost true historical adventure comedy by BERNARD SHAW is told by five power-house women!

Ah yes...I am Woman...Hear Me Roar! Except it simply does not make any sense with a cast consisting of only women. 1777 America had a social structure that makes a woman playing the lead absolutely nonsensical. Flipping the story on its head may be satisfying for the director and his desire to subvert the dominant paradigm, but the wit of George Bernard Shaw was heavily dependent on the interplay between men and women. Socially, sexually, legally.

It's as if traditional society recognized the differences between the sexes and embedded them deeply.

Who knew!

here's someone who knew...

In the matter of reforming things, as distinct from deforming them, there is one plain and simple principle; a principle which will probably be called a paradox. There exists in such a case a certain institution or law; let us say, for the sake of simplicity, a fence or gate erected across a road. The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, “I don’t see the use of this; let us clear it away.” To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: “If you don’t see the use of it, I certainly won’t let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it.

There is a very good reason to respect the original play or book or movie. They are reflections of the times in which they were created, and when done well, are a glimpse into the human condition that is common throughout our history. Changing that condition is impossible, no matter how many gender-bending or culture-twisting contortions are inserted.

Our literary traditions expose the universal truths of human (really...Western) culture, and the differences between the sexes are structural, and cannot be changed without bringing down the entire edifice.

Which is their goal.

The Morning Report — 9/17/24

SickHillary.jpg

Good Morning Kids. It is just beyond revolting, if not completely predictable, that in the wake of the second assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump that the loudest, shrillest voices within the Democrat Party and the media – which as we all know is in point of fact a redundancy – have the unmitigated, radioactive temerity to actually blame him for the attempts on his life. After almost every second of every day for nine straight years of comparing him to Adolph Hitler and sliming anyone who supports him as not only a racist bigot but of willing to throw those unlike them into concentration camps or worse to fulfill the alleged goal of turning America into a white Christian nationalist theocracy (a hoary old retread of a theme going back to Ronald Reagan if not to Barry Goldwater) Projection ain't just a river in Egypt.

It's kind of funny since mere days before the 2008 election, Barack Obama promised to "fundamentally transform" the United States of America. Into what, he never said, but judging from the poisoned rhetoric of his apostate priest and confessor, Jeremiah Wright, as well as the words and deeds of his likely real father and mentor Frank Marshall Davis, an avowed Stalinist and Soviet agent, it was no stretch of the imagination to connect the dots. In point of fact, considering everything that is happening here at home and quite a bit of what's going on abroad we are only beginning to reap the whirlwind of what Obama has just begun to sow.

All things considered, the fact that Donald Trump openly ran to stop that in an effort to Make America Great Again, and that he handily beat a machine intent on continuing the destruction with Hillary Clinton as the combined Eva Peron/Lucretia Borgia as its leader was in and of itself nothing short of miraculous.

This evil gin-blossom of a harridan has been the tip of the spear to take him down both for personal reasons as well as political ever since. So naturally, she had this to say:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that former President Donald Trump’s politics of “hate and division” put the United States’ security in danger.

Clinton said, “I’m very hopeful, and even optimistic that Americans who do not want to see a continuation of this politics of hate and division will reject Trump.” She continued, “The object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world. You know, they were merciless about what they saw as [so-called quote-unquote] President Biden’s problems in the debate and calling for him to withdraw. I believe Donald Trump has disqualified himself over and over and over again to be a presidential candidate, let alone a president.”

The only thing Donald Trump endangers is the Democrat-Left's near stranglehold on power that it has achieved by subverting and dismantling as much of the American founding via legislative action,a corrupted judiciary and the unconstitutional bureaucracy said corrupted judiciary have consistently rubber-stamped as legitimate at least since the FDR era if not before. The only way to make America "great" again is to make America "America" again, and that means the utter defeat and dismantling of the Democrat/Leftist/Socialist/Globalist enterprise that has brought us to the brink of total dissolution, after a nearly 200-year counter-American revolution.

Which leads me to my next disgusting sampling of poisonous vomitus:

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Source,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) said that it’s “dangerous” for the Trump campaign to blame Democratic rhetoric for the recent attempted assassination of 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump and that doing so is “precisely what they shouldn’t be doing at a moment when they should be taking down the political temperature.” And also responded to Republicans saying they don’t trust the federal government by stating that “if you work hard enough to delegitimize the government in the eyes of Americans, you’re going to create a very dangerous environment.”

The rhetoric is voluminous, Himes (at least until Google and the other Mandarins of the Internet get a chance to erase it from the memory banks) as is the evidence of both a stolen election, Intel agencies colluding with Hilary Clinton to fabricate the Russia Collusion hoax against Trump, two impeachment attempts based on that hoax, trumped up charges in several jurisdictions based on Trump's first amendment rights to challenge the results of that election, that have been twisted into the so-called 1/6 insurrection, which in point of fact was a Pelosi-led plot engineered with or mostly by Federal intel and LE agencies as a false flag operation to arrest and convict Trump of treason and as pretext to delegitimize if not totally outlaw any and all opposition to Democrat power.

I'll say it here and now, the greatest threat to the security and freedom of the American people was and always will be the Democrat Party. The record is crystal clear as my good friend, the brilliant author and historian Michael Walsh has laid out in exacting detail in his great and important work.

The People V. the Democratic Party

His latest is the perfect companion book, which I am currently devouring con gusto Against the Corporate Media

The danger we face by this multi-headed Hydra that seeks our submission or death for defying their delusions of grandeur, superiority and self-declared right to create a nation in their own satanic image is as real as two assassination attempts on Trump, two on Gerald Ford, the ones that took out JFK, RFK and even MLK, along with Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley – not to mention what we've seen in Springfield Ohio and elsewhere, in the wake of the death of George Floyd, the race to turn America's children into Frankenstein catamites, and every other perversion, depredation and criminal act to rob us of our future.

These are fighting words, to be sure and intended to make your blood boil. Does that mean I want you to go grab a weapon and take a pot shot at someone? Of course not. But because I dare even speak these truths, in the eyes of the Left that makes me a threat to our precious democracy (vomit) and potentially someone that needs to be on a terror watch list.

Which is funny given that that the psycho school shooter in Georgia last month was being watched by the FBI and the local police, and yet, and yet!

Turns out this Routhi Houthi rebel was being tracked by intel agents via his cell phone for many hours before the attempt to take out Trump. And yet, and yet!

Basta cosi. Have a good day.

The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

The Secret Service failures in Florida are as crude and obvious as they were in Pennsylvania which means that, in the words of my former GB News colleague Neil Oliver, this is happening because they want it to happen. They want Trump to die, and they are willing to create the necessary conditions. Mark Steyn

Quote II

“I want to give people a plant-based option. If I can give people a place to have the option that’s placed smack dab in the middle of where your McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, and Burger King [are], people may see a Hart House and say, ‘I’m going to go plant-based today.'” Comedian Kevin Hart

Quote III

"We found that children using saltwater nose drops had cold symptoms for an average of six days, where those with usual care had symptoms for eight days," Dr. Steve Cunningham

Ron DeSantis will open his own independent investigation into the second Trump assassination attempt.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis revealed that the state will conduct its own investigation into what authorities are calling an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The incident occurred Sunday at Trump's golf club in West Palm Beach, where gunshots were fired in close proximity to the former president, who is also the GOP's frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race.

DeSantis made the announcement via X, formerly known as Twitter, stressing the importance of accountability and transparency. "The people deserve the truth about the would-be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and current GOP nominee," he wrote.

The FBI is already conducting its own investigation, with Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw commenting on the security circumstances surrounding Trump at a briefing Sunday afternoon. "At this level he is at right now, he's not the sitting president. If he was, we would have this entire golf course surrounded. But because he's not, security is limited to the areas that the Secret Service deems possible," Bradshaw explained. Bradshaw confirmed that Trump was 300-500 yards away from the shooter when Secret Service agents intervened. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported.

This marks the second assassination attempt on Trump this year, following a July incident that prompted the formation of a bipartisan congressional task force. In response to Sunday's shooting, task force leaders are now requesting a briefing on the latest security breach.

As the state's investigation moves forward, DeSantis is expected to push for more stringent security protocols surrounding Trump, especially given his continued prominence in the 2024 election cycle. The dual investigations by Florida and federal authorities aim to ensure accountability and prevent further security lapses.

The DOJ, FBI, DHS, and Secret Service will block and harass him at every turn. And people will, justifiably, find this obstruction and subversion to be suspicious.

Hawley releases whistleblower report on the Secret Service's botching of the first Trump attempted assassination.

Kyle Becker
@kylenabecker

BREAKING.

Senator @HawleyMO releases *WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT* on the failed J13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The whistleblower made a number of allegations. Highlights:

* Majority of DHS personnel unfamiliar with security protocols
* Only training received by many HSI agents was a single two-hour webinar
* Law enforcement was supposed to be on roof where Crooks shot Trump, post was abandoned
* Night before the rally, Secret Service denied offers to utilize Butler County's drones
* USS Counter Surveillance Division (CSD) did not perform routine pre-event surveillance
* Gunman would have been handcuffed after being spotted with range finder if USS CSD present
* Secret Service lead agent lacked competence and experience
* Secret Service preemptively informed Pittsburgh field office the Butler rally was not going to receive additional security resources

Hawley's whistleblower report concludes:

"Two months have now elapsed since former President Donald J. Trump was nearly assassinated. And the American people still know far too little about why this happened."

"The Secret Service, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security have not been forthcoming with the American people. Far from it: they have closed ranks, refused to confirm or deny whistleblower allegations, and resisted meaningful oversight. In fact, sources with direct knowledge of Secret Service's own internal investigation have alleged to Senator Hawley that the Department of Homeland Security is leaning on Secret Service not to comply with document requests from Congress." [...]

"Left alone, these agencies will not reform themselves. They will continue to stonewall and obfuscate. Plainly, it is now up to Congress and the President to clean house at these failing agencies at the earliest possible opportunity."
