I'm not even sure these "jobs" are even being "lost." We see in government that these lefties just rebrand the DEI jobs as something else.
Anyway, this is a terrible thing. Are you kidding me.
It's a tough time to be a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practitioner in America, as new employment research produced for NPR reveals significant job losses in the sector. About 2,600 jobs, or 13% of jobs including "diversity" or "DEI" in the titles or descriptions that existed in 2023, have been eliminated, a recent analysis conducted for NPR by Revelio Labs shows. As of January 2025, the total DEI roles in the U.S. dropped to approximately 17,700, down from a peak of 20,000 in 2023. Job postings for DEI positions saw a staggering 595% increase in August 2022 compared to 2020, but that figure stood at 73% as of January, NPR reported. Likewise, roles associated with concepts like "belonging," "social impact" or "culture" are also on the decline.
The analysis follows recent reports of major corporations dumping their DEI programs and scaling back their financial support of pride events in response to the Trump administration's crackdown on what it deems to be illegal DEI practices. So close to Pride Month? SO CLOSE TO PRIDE MONTH?!
Incredible. A huge drain on our economy.
Although these numbers represent a downturn, the current total of DEI jobs still far exceeds the 7,000 recorded in 2016. Furthermore, observers like Will Hild, Executive Director of Consumers' Research, express concern that DEI roles may simply be transferred into other corporate departments like human resources. "While I think it's great that there are fewer roles that have DEI in the title -- and I hope in a few years that will be zero -- I do think the growth of the HR bureaucracy far above what we've seen in employment is also a problem we need to keep an eye on. If they just relabel DEI to be some department of HR, it's not going to do any good," Hild told the Daily Caller News Foundation. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 922,000 individuals were employed by the human resources sector in 2024, up from 631,000 in 2016.
... Moreover, Harmeet Dhillon, the head of the DOJ's Civil Rights Division, told the DCNF in April that investigating employers who discriminate against people based on race is one of the agency's new top priorities. The Revelio Labs analysis also found that women accounted for more than 71% of all DEI professionals from 2020 through 2024, compared with 51% of other roles. Additionally, Black and Hispanic workers represented only 21% of other jobs but held 33% of DEI positions. "That's a tacit admission that they were engaging in race- and sex-based discrimination. They're basically saying that DEI roles are made for people of color and women, and that's illegal," said Hild. "I'm hopeful and encouraged that Harmeet will drop the hammer on these companies."

The abundance agenda is a collection of policy reforms designed to make it easier to build housing and infrastructure and for government bureaucracy to work. Despite its cheerful name and earnest intention to find win-win solutions, the abundance agenda contains a radical critique of the past half century of American government. On top of that—and this is what has set off clanging alarms on the left—it is a direct attack on the constellation of activist organizations, often called “the groups,” that control progressive politics and have significant influence over the Democratic Party.
So why am I plaguing you with this? Well, it was sent to me by a friend whose opinions I value, so I read the whole damned thing. I figure you should suffer too! But I will let him have the first comment:
This is a fascinating article. It illustrates both the "true socialism has never been tried and we must do more socialism" and the "our intentions are pure therefore we must impose our rule at any cost" fallacies which allow these people to completely ignore whether any of their underlying beliefs about governments ability to create prosperity and "equality" are actually valid. The commentary about the Whigs and the Democrats ignores the reality that the government was impeding the societal change behind the growing anti slavery movement and completely misrepresented the origin of the Republican Party as a result of the abolitionist movement. Think about who are the slaves created and perpetuated by further implementation of the "Progressive" school of thought.
Exactly. But it is even worse. The empowerment of tiny pressure groups such as the lunatic environmentalists who hide their socialist agenda among the scrub brush and bait fish they claim to represent is seen not as the disenfranchisement of America, but as a policy issue. The destruction of states rights is simply ignored, because remember, the explicit assumption is that the federal government is a force for good...we just have to tweak it a bit to make it more efficient! As I said to my friend: "An honest author would have examined the true counter-proposal to government control and NGO veto-power over almost everything -- minimalist government that allows the 50 states to return to their roles as crucibles of experimentation." It is of course theoretically possible to improve the efficiency of government and ensure that its efforts are not simply a waste of taxpayer money with an accompanying destruction of our rights. Theoretically. But we have been trying for 250 years and have just gotten worse at it. So the counter-proposal of shrinking government to the basics is a powerful option. But first we have to destroy the assumptions about government's proper role in society. We must question the shibboleths that the left holds dear, and start from the proposition that they are antithetical to a free society! Why should government fund medical care for able-bodied people?
Why should government take our money for a country-wide retirement fund?
Why should government possess so much of the country's land?
Why should government be involved in the education of our children?
Why should government interfere in private property rights? Francis Fukuyama wrote about how healthy societies acquire "social capital," which is nothing more than virtue. Dependability, trustworthiness, loyalty, honesty, etc. By allowing government to replace the functions of church, community, family, we are eroding the bedrock of society, which is the creation of that social capital. And that is exactly the goal of the progressive movement...the architects of big government! They seek an America that is fragmented into pressure groups and racial groups and ethnic groups and class divisions, all of which are pitted against each other in a never-ending battle for government support. Sounds like a dystopian hell-hole, and the alternative of small government that simply leaves us alone is a wonderful vision for our future.

Former CNN politics reporter Chris Cillizza revealed on Wednesday that his Tesla was vandalized with a “Musk is a Nazi” sign at his son’s soccer tournament last weekend. Cillizza, a left-wing journalist who worked for CNN from 2017 until 2022, wrote on his Substack that the vandalism is another sign that the politicization of every aspect of American life “is making us all crazy.”The absolute chutzpocritical gall of this foul paskudnyak to say that is just off the charts. Blowback is a bitch, Cillizza. All things considered, he's damned lucky it was his toy car and not him or his family that got a molotov cocktail to the back of the head. Or was visited by an Elias Rodriguez or the creep who nearly lynched Brett Kavanaugh and his family. Meh, to hell with Cillizza and the political party and movement he supports and shills for. He brought this upon himself. And worse, have brought us to the precipice of societal dissolution and destruction all because their 200-year drive to overthrow the nation and society it engendered was effectively blocked or seriously impeded with the rise of Donald Trump and the awakening of the majority of Americans to the Democrat wolf at our throat. Day by Day more and more people are waking up to the fact that the Democrat Party and those who support it have brought nothing but pain, death, misery and destruction on us and have had enough. So, all the latter has is violence and intimidation and are obviously more than willing to use it to get their way. So thank you and fuck you Chris Cillizza.
After two assassination attempts on Donald Trump during the 2024 election campaign; when Mangione became a cult heartthrob; Musk had to travel with up to 20 armed bodyguards; and even former FBI Director James Comey flirts with assassination memes, we can see where this is heading. Popular culture, social media and political and media figures on the left have reacted to their political marginalization since Trump’s election by fantasizing out loud about assassination or making coded references to their dark desires. If you can’t rub out Trump yourself, then you can make your feelings plain in oblique fashion by fetishizing Mangione as a sex symbol. It’s not as if he is intrinsically more attractive than any other 27-year-old Ivy League brat, or that the evil deed was brave or imaginative. He allegedly shot Thompson in the back as the 50-year-old Minnesota father of two teenage boys was walking down Sixth Avenue to an investor meeting in the early morning of Dec. 4. But the lionization of Mangione, especially by lustful women, casts the violence as desirable, an aphrodisiac that other unhinged young men might want to emulate. Left-wing journalist Taylor Lorenz, formerly of The Washington Post and The New York Times, personified the Luigi fangirl last month when she gushed that the accused killer seemed “morally good” and “handsome.” . . . Stand-up comic Bill Burr frequently says “Free Luigi” when a camera is on him, including on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Kimmel dubbed Mangione “Time’s sexiest alleged murderer of the year” and “the hottest cold-blooded killer in America.” A professor of bioethics at Saint Louis University, Yolonda Wilson, tweeted soon after Thompson’s murder that she was “not sad” about it because the company he worked for is “evil . . . chickens come home to roost.” Democrat lawmakers Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elizabeth Warren have defended the lionization of Mangione for his cold-blooded murder. “Violence is never the answer,” said Warren, “but people can be pushed only so far.” You might call all this assassination chic a harmless fad, but it is more sinister than that. It is a psychological conditioning of the public to normalize political violence. An Emerson College poll after the murder found that 41% of voters aged 18-29 thought the murder of Thompson was acceptable, while another 24% said it was “somewhat” acceptable. The suspect in the murders of Lischinsky and Milgrim outside the Capital Jewish Museum, Elias Rodriguez, a socialist anti-Israel activist, openly praised Mangione on his X account: “80% of the country applauds the targeted annihilation of a healthcare insurance exec.”For years, the SPLC has made its bones by proclaiming the dangers of so-called white supremacist groups and the KKK (that is "The Armed Militant Wing of the Democrat Party the KKK, as it its full name) that supposedly are primed and ready to overthrow America and lynch every non-white person. Despite the fact that in total, there are perhaps something like 20,000 or fewer in a nation of over 300 million people. And most of these dangerous Nazi racists are located in prisons.
It's obvious what the game is given who and what the SPLC slaps its labels on. Along with CAIR, it is high time that the SPLC is thoroughly investigated by the FBI and DoJ, with the aim of exposing them as the criminally irresponsible politically-driven fear mongers that they are and in so doing dismantling and destroying them forever. Because at some point, someone who happens to be a pin on the SPLC's map is going to get the Mangione treatment. And the bullshit excuses of "we abhor and don't condone violence" will flow like a river of sewage, as it always does when a Leftist and/or Muslim guns down, runs down, stabs, incinerates the closest Jew, Christian, Trump supporter or pro-life praying grandmother they can find. As is their standard operating procedure. I abhor violence. But at some point there is going to be, or Lord help me, going to have to be whole lot of reaping by the Left of the seed that they have sown.
Representative Laurel Libby, a duly elected lawmaker in Maine, dared to do what many parents, coaches, and young athletes across the country are already doing: she spoke truthfully and without apology about the unfairness of allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports. For this, the Democrat-controlled House didn’t just debate her or disagree with her—they silenced her. Stripped her of committee roles. Banned her from floor debate. Blocked her right to vote on legislation. All because she refused to back down and kiss the ring of the transgender orthodoxy. While this is all true, and I salute and admire Laurel Libby and all like her. But given my earlier assertions and links, look at what standing up for your beliefs – that is if you are a God-fearing, law-abiding, moral sane American non-Democrat/Leftist gets you. With all due respect to my Christian friends, At some point we're going to run out of cheeks to turn. Our enemies, Leftist and Muslim, separately and now aligned (at least for the time being as is Islam's wont vis a vis "enemy of my enemy" calculus,) as has been all to apparent just in the past few years or so, have no compunction about violence, let alone lying and cheating and election thievery, and every other form of mopery and malefic meshugas under the sun. PS: Dissolve the Judiciary.
Let that sink in. An elected state representative was functionally erased from her position because she refused to lie.
It took the highest court in the land—yes, the United States Supreme Court—to step in and temporarily restore her rights. And we should be grateful they did. But we should also be furious it was necessary. . . The Left doesn’t care about your family, your values, your faith, or your future. The only sacred thing in their world is power—raw, absolute, weaponized power.
But here’s the good news: they’re not unstoppable. When one woman with courage stands up and refuses to bow, she can shake their whole crooked machine. Laurel Libby did that. And it matters—not just in Maine, but across America. She reminded us that truth is still dangerous to tyrants, and that our Constitution still has teeth when we’re brave enough to invoke it.
So now it’s our turn. We must raise our voices—not just for Libby, but for every parent, teacher, coach, and child being told to sit down and shut up. We must defend not just women’s sports, but women’s dignity. We must demand accountability from those who trample free speech in the name of progress.
PPS: In Sulphuric Acid...
And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day.

Trump says he'll ask Congress to codify his DOGE cuts to make them legislatively-endorsed cuts. Which a district court cannot undo with an injunction.
President Trump is reportedly preparing to send Congress a $9.4 billion rescissions package on Tuesday, formally requesting lawmakers to back spending cuts identified by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Key Details: The proposal would eliminate $1.1 billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and cut $8.3 billion in foreign assistance--primarily through USAID and the African Development Foundation. DOGE officials are highlighting grants such as $882,000 for "social media mentorship" in Serbia and Belarus, and $1 million for a voter ID program in Haiti to justify broader reductions. On May 1st, Trump signed an executive order ending federal support for NPR and PBS, calling it the end of "taxpayer subsidization of biased media." NPR responded by filing a lawsuit, while PBS vowed to fight back.Speaker Johnson says Congress will do that. (So why do I not believe him?)
Eric DaughertySteven Miller and Kristin Noem demand that ICE triple the rate of deportations.
@EricLDaugh BREAKING: SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON promises DOGE cuts, clarifies when and how they will come. "When the White House sends its rescissions package to the House, we will act quickly by passing legislation to codify the cuts." "The House will use the appropriations process to swiftly implement President Trump's 2026 budget." "DOGE found savings in discretionary spending (such as funding agencies), while our One Big Beautiful Bill secured over $1.6 trillion in savings in mandatory spending (such as Medicaid). Both are HISTORIC and take HUGE steps toward addressing our debt and deficit." "The House is eager and ready to act on DOGE's findings so we can deliver even more cuts to big government that President Trump wants and the American people demand."
In a high-stakes meeting in Washington, Trump officials Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem ordered ICE agents to ramp up daily arrests to 3,000 -- tripling early Trump-era levels -- as the administration accelerates plans for mass deportations across the U.S.CBS "News" hacktivist and wretched spinster Lesley Stahl is very very sad.
I am not hopeful. I look at all our institutions, all of which have lost the respect of the American people. I worry about the future of democracy, obviously. And, I don't see a path out. So, I'm kind of down.
She made these remarks during a taxpayer-funded PBS propaganda piece wondering if the President has too much power. Weird how they only ask this question when it's a Republican in the White House. When it's Obama in the White House, they cheer him threatening banks by saying "I'm the only one standing between you and the pitchforks." And of course PBS had no concerns about the White House being controlled by an unelected cabal of DNC hangers-on who called themselves "the Politburo." A watchdog group says they can find no evidence that POTATUS was even apprised of the executive orders he was "signing" by autopen.
"Power The Future remains concerned that key policies of major economic and national security significance directed by the White House during the Biden administration may have been undertaken without presidential awareness and approval, but perhaps instead by a small coterie of staff," the letter reads, according to Fox News Digital. The group analyzed multiple executive orders involving climate policy dating back to 2021 and, according to Executive Director Daniel Turner, found "no evidence that Biden ordered it, directed it, or was even aware it was happening in his name." "This autopen scandal is evidence that these green EOs are invalid, and the instigators should be thoroughly investigated by the DOJ for violating the trust of the American people and perpetuating a great fraud on the nation," asserted Turner.

According to Morning Consult's poll, there has been a 9-point swing in voters' approval of Trump's trade policy in just two weeks.Trade sentiment improves: For the first time since March, more voters approve than disapprove of Trump's handling of trade policy (47% to 45%). Voters remain closely divided over whether they approve of Trump's handling of the economy or trust Republicans over Democrats to deal with the matter. This increase is not a fluke. We know that because of optimism about the economy. Consumer confidence had been dropping over the past couple of months, again due to uncertainty about Trump's trade policies. In May it skyrocketed, far outstripping expectations.

The Experts (TM) guessed that consumer confidence would come in at 87.5 for May, but instead it hit 98 -- the biggest one-month gain in four years. For the first time in Rasmussen's polling history -- but remember, they've only been around for 15 years -- a majority of Americans now say the US is on "the right track." That's big.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but Trump has never done a live Oval Office speech about his trade or economic policy. In fact, I can't remember him ever doing an Oval Office address to voters. He's a very strong communicator. He really needs to start using one of his most potent weapons to quietly, calmly, and rigorously make his case on tariffs to the public. If he's already about about parity on the question, an Oval Office address would put him well over a majority. Duane Patterson rounds up some additional findings about Democrats losing the country as they become The Antifa and Groomer Party.

According to both Hogg and a former Biden "digital strategy" hack, the most powerful man in the world from 2021-2024 was... Jill Biden's Chief of Staff, Anthony Bernal.
John Sexton links a Fox News article about Bernal's power in the "Joe Biden" White House."He considered loyalty to be the defining virtue and would wield that word to elevate some and oust others -- at times fairly and at times not. 'Are you a Biden person?' he would ask West Wing aides. 'Is so-and-so a Biden person?' The regular interrogations led some colleagues to dub him the leader of the 'loyalty police,'" the journalists wrote in "Original Sin."... Tapper and Thompson said it was difficult to find many Bernal defenders and described him as using his power to cast out "potential heretics."Per The Times of London, he was the chief spy and heretic-hunter:
He was seen as a protective figure serving as "the Bidens' eyes and ears" with a particular focus on "casting out potential heretics". One long-time Biden aide said: "He would not be welcome at my funeral."Video below.

This won't affect too many people, but I do think it's healthy to begin expressing the correct level of hostility and contempt for people who attempt to subvert Americans' right to free speech.
[Rubio] took that a step further today by announcing that the State Department will no longer issue visas to "foreign officials and persons who are complicit in censoring Americans." "For too long, Americans have been fined, harassed, and even charged by foreign authorities for exercising their free speech rights," Rubio posted on X, adding, "Free speech is essential to the American way of life -- a birthright over which foreign governments have no authority." In another post, he said, "Foreigners who work to undermine the rights of Americans should not enjoy the privilege of traveling to our country. Whether in Latin America, Europe, or elsewhere, the days of passive treatment for those who work to undermine the rights of Americans are over."We can't exile American citizens involved in this effort (yet...) but we can ban censorious foreigners. Obviously, the global elite -- My mistake, they're not elite and never have been. Obviously, the global Gold-Plated Mediocrities understand that their agenda is toxically unpopular and that they cannot maintain their power in any democratic system, so they are working as fast as they can to turn former democracies into oligarchies. Stopping all criticism of themselves and their agenda is the first step in the Gold-Plated Mediocrities' campaign to make themselves into tyrants. Related:

First, the Secret Service "destroyed" the cocaine, thus stopping anyone from checking up on their claims that there was too little DNA on the coke-bag to test.
And they made sure no one could test it by destroying it. The destruction of the actual contraband would also make it hard to prosecute anyone for having it, as a prosecutor would just have to assert it existed and any defense attorney could claim whatever they wanted about the coke, and no one could dispute them. Second, the Secret Service says it did not conduct interviews with White House staff about who smuggled Hunter Biden's cocaine into the White House because it would be, get this, "a civil rights violation to interview the White House staff" about the coke. Third, the White House staff moved the cocaine from the library, which relatively few people have access to, to the cubbies in the entrance hall, which more people have access to. The obvious reason for this illegal action is to expand the number of suspects who could have smuggled in Hunter Biden's cocaine and thus protect the actual culprit.People need to go to prison. And I mean the Praetorian Guard Bureaucrats who covered this up. This cannot stand.
DOGEai
@dogeai_gov The White House cocaine cover-up reeks of D.C. corruption. Secret Service leadership tried to destroy evidence, blocked DNA testing, and hid behind "civil liberties" excuses instead of pursuing the truth. They found a partial DNA match but refused to investigate further--classic swamp behavior. If this was a Republican scandal, the media would demand answers 24/7. Instead, they protect Biden's inner circle while wasting taxpayer dollars on sham investigations. The real crime? A two-tiered justice system where elites torch evidence while regular Americans face the full force of the law. Time to drain the swamp--again.

Update: The Fight Was Over Who Got Which Car?
Two Secret Service agents were suspended after getting into a physical altercation last week that was captured on video and circulated online. A Secret Service spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of the video, which depicted two female officers getting into a physical fight while on duty. NBC News reported that the incident occurred outside of former President Obama's home in Washington, D.C. The spokesperson said the incident -- which occurred early last Wednesday -- is under internal investigation.More from Susan Crabtree:

@susancrabtree 🚨#BREAKING SCOOP: IS DEI STILL PLAGUING THE SECRET SERVICE?
FRACAS OUTSIDE OBAMA RESIDENCE RAISES NEW QUESTIONS: Get a supervisor "immediately before I whoop this girl's ass." Two female Secret Service Uniformed Division officers got into a physical fight outside former President Obama's D.C. residence while guarding it. The fracas occurred at roughly 2:30 a.m. early Wednesday morning, according to two sources in the Secret Service community. The lack of professionalism was on display during the fight and in a call one of the women made on a recorded Secret Service line to request a supervisor to come to the scene "immediately before I whoop this girl's ass." The woman officer who made the call was upset that her shift replacement was late and assailed her verbally and physically when she finally did arrive to relieve her. Audio of the early a.m. call is now circulating among agents and officers and is attached to this X post. ... The incident is raising new concerns among fellow Secret Service agents and officers about the agency's lowering of hiring standards during years of a major DEI push to add more minorities and women to the ranks under previous Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle. Cheatle resigned under a cloud after the J13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump. The Secret Service for years has experienced low morale and a severe manpower shortage, which is also contributing to lower hiring standards as the agency works to increase its agents and officers. Susan Crabtree
@susancrabtree #BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE: @RCPolitics has obtained video of the fight between two women Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers outside former President Obama's residence last week after one officer called a supervisor to come before "I whoop this girl's ass." More details about the reason for the fight: Multiple Secret Service sources say one woman Uniformed Division officer was triggered because the officer coming to relieve at the end of her shift was late. Another well-placed Secret Service source says the replacement officer was only a few minutes late, and the woman officer who started the fight wanted a Dodge Durango, not the Ford Explorer, that the other officer arrived in. Officers apparently have a choice of cars they can check out when they go on duty -- and provide relief for shift changes. "If that's all it takes to set you off, [then this officer] is dangerous to have around," the source remarked. Secret Service agents and officers are annually trained to recognize "insider threats" -- employees who pose a danger to the agency's security, data, and operations. The officer who started the fight displays several of the "insider threat" signs. As @RCPolitics previously reported, the agency did not actively investigate at least one other internal "insider threat" report for several years despite internal complaints about this employee, and there are ongoing questions about whether the agent was appropriately punished after she was investigated. Some key signs of insider threats: Disgruntled Employees: Disengaged or unhappy employees can be more likely to engage in risky behavior, potentially leading to security breaches or other issues. Behavioral and Performance Issues:
Changes in work habits, such as decreased productivity, increased errors, or displays of resentment, can be early warning signs of potential insider threats. Security violations: Disgruntled employees might intentionally or unintentionally cause security breaches, such as unauthorized access to sensitive data, excessive data downloads, or policy violations.

Republican Texas Rep. Brandon Gill blasted Democrats on Fox Business Tuesday over the Memorial Day weekend and accused them of engaging in a “bizarre and grotesque” public display of sympathy for a deported MS-13 gang member. Maryland Democratic Rep. Glenn Ivey traveled to El Salvador over Memorial Day in an unsuccessful bid to meet with deported and alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, becoming the latest Democrat to publicly advocate for his return to the U.S. During an appearance on “The Bottom Line,” Gill blasted Ivey’s action as tone-deaf and offensive, especially on a weekend meant to honor fallen American service members.Second case:
Democrat New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is sticking to her far-left views on immigration despite a growing number of Democrats changing their tune on border security issues. Ocasio-Cortez, a rumored 2028 presidential candidate who is viewed as a rising leader in the Democratic Party, renewed her calls for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a campaign email published Monday evening. The socialist firebrand’s decision to commit to a viewpoint out of step with a majority of voters comes as many Democrats have sought to distance themselves from the “abolish ICE” bandwagon that some strategists believe has hurt the party’s brand. “I believe that ICE, an agency that was just formed in 2003 during the Patriot Act era, is a rogue agency that should not exist,” an Ocasio-Cortez campaign email said Monday slamming critics that consider the far-left congresswoman “extreme.” The New York Democrat, who called for the abolition of ICE during President Donald Trump’s first term, also posted content to social media earlier this year advising illegal migrants on how to evade ICE arrests. A majority of voters — including Democrats — appear to reject Ocasio-Cortez’s “abolition ICE” advocacy, according to recent polling.I guess yet again, an example of the Left Hand not knowing what the FAR LEFT hand is doing. All the way to the midterms and beyond Democrats. Keep on digging, eventually you'll strike Satan right on the head.
Of course, it's too bad we lack a GOP that can take full advantage of Democrat/Leftist disarray, case in point the whole madness surrounding the arguments over the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill." While DOGE and the exposure of the insanity at Harvard and academia in general by cutting off the brainwashing mills from taxpayer funding are certainly big wins.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Congressional Republicans on Tuesday over their lack of action on cutting the government waste and abuse identified by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). . . . . . In a post on X, DeSantis put the heat on Republicans to do just that, pointing out that DOGE Chief Elon Musk “took massive incoming,” which included “attacks on his companies” and “personal smears” while leading the DOGE effort. “He became public enemy #1 of legacy media around the world,” DeSantis wrote. “To see Republicans in Congress cast aside any meaningful spending reductions (and, in fact, fully fund things like USAID) is demoralizing and represents a betrayal of the voters who elected them,” the governor added. DeSantis was commenting on a post by Matt Van Swol, an independent journalist from North Carolina, who had blasted Republicans on X, Monday. “DOGE is literally one of the most popular government initiatives in history,” Van Swol wrote. “73% of Americans say they support cutting government waste. Trump brought in the smartest man on earth to do it … the Left destroyed Elon for it … the GOP won’t vote on it. I can’t believe this.” . . . “We have a Republican Congress and to this day, we’re at the end of May, past Memorial Day, and not one CENT in DOGE cuts have been implemented by the Congress!” DeSantis cried.
And on the international front, President Trump seems to be more preoccupied with doing exactly the wrong things, be it with the whole Ukraine debacle and in feeding raw sugar to a cancerous tumor.
A senior Trump administration official told The Daily Wire that the White House is “proud” to back GHF’s “incredible mission” and that the group is a direct threat to “Hamas’ longstanding system of looting the assistance intended for the people of Gaza.” “The U.N. and other aid agencies were wrong to criticize – aid is getting to the people in need and through their secure distribution system, Israel is kept safe and Hamas empty-handed,” the official said. According to GHF, Hamas has made death threats to aid groups supporting GHF’s operationsSadly, as has been confirmed on numerous occasions since the October 7 mass attack/pogrom there are no innocent civilians in Gaza, newborns and crawling infants perhaps notwithstanding, but parents and children alike were complicit in the kidnappings and imprisonment of Israeli hostages or at a minimum cheering on the butchery of the Jews. That President Trump and his advisers have yet to realize this is a head-scratcher. Obviously, from an optics standpoint he cannot give a thumbs up for the IDF to go all out and wipe out Hamas regardless of the collateral damage to "civilians." But that said, it is the civilians and their government that they put in power HAMAS that are to blame for their own suffering by waging a genocidal war against Israel, leaving the latter no real alternative. But, the problem is not Hamas. The problem is ISLAM itself. Hamas is merely a weapon/manifestation of the latter. And this is the case with Iran as well as in Syria where President Trump and company are impressed with a Mohammedan ISIS thug merely because a second hand John Gotti Brioni suit looks good on him. Meh, Islam is the world's problem and unless and until the world decides to openly and loudly declare its right to defend civilization from its millennium and-a-half long rampage that can only end in an Islamic world conquest which would be the real end of History as we Fukuyama ourselves in the head. Unless the Chi-Coms beat them to the punch. Or perhaps if we're lucky . . .
A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck near Soda Springs, Idaho, about 100 miles from the famous Yellowstone supervolcano caldera, renewing some concerns about a potential eruption. . . While geologists are still investigating the Friday morning quake, the Yellowstone supervolcano influences seismic activity in this region due to its massive magma chamber and connected fault lines. It generates 1,500 to 2,000 small earthquakes each year, most of which are weaker than 2.0 on the Richter scale of magnitude. These tremors usually shake areas within the Yellowstone Caldera and nearby fault zones, but the supervolcano can also influence seismic activity over 100 miles away.Things that make you go boom . . . And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day.
- ABOVE THE FOLD, BREAKING, NOTEWORTHY
- The fight for freedom is never-ending, even when a large majority of the population agrees with the principles as set forth in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Unfortunately however we no longer live in such a country. Right now a very large plurality of Americans no longer believe in free speech and the Bill of Rights, and are quite willing to throw out the Constitution so that their side can be in power for all time.

Assuming this isn't AI, this shark shows some serious battle damage, possibly with a boat's propeller. A goose attacked Trump's middle east negotiator Steve Witkoff. Helper dog. Only someone who hates dogs would say this is totally staged for the camera. Just flapping around. Fierce! Squirrel power stance. Squirrel picnic spot. Sleepy sea lion.
