Unbelievable. But wait -- the Highly Suspicious Shredding Party is Trump's fault, Politico has decided.
A senior official at USAID instructed the agency's remaining staff to convene at the agency's now-former headquarters in Washington on Tuesday for an "all day" group effort to destroy documents stored there, many of which contain sensitive information. The materials earmarked for destruction include contents of the agency's "classified safes and personnel documents" at the Ronald Reagan Building, said an email sent by USAID's acting executive director, Erica Carr, and obtained by POLITICO. "Shred as many documents first, and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break," the email said. Carr instructed staff to label the burn bags with the words "SECRET" and "USAID/B/IO/" (agency shorthand for "bureau or independent office") in dark Sharpie. The email didn't provide any reason for the document destruction.
The effort also underscores the tumultuous way in which the Trump administration is dismantling an agency that once managed a $40 billion annual budget and had more than 10,000 staff around the world.Trump made them destroy evidence of their lawbreaking!

CR Passes 217-213

Conservative BriefI saw Thomas Massie once again declared he will not vote for any budget, but Chip Roy xeeted favorably of this one. Someone at Hot Air pointed out that if Democrats do force a shutdown, it will beTrump deciding which programs get priority and get funded during the shut-down, and which are drained of all money. That is a not-so-bad backup plan. The Hill:
@ConservBrief BREAKING NOW Houses of Representatives PASSES Continuing Resolution Bill by a vote of 217-213. Bill now heads to the Senate.
House Republicans are racing to pass their bill by 11:59 p.m. EDT Friday to avert a government shutdown, teeing up a final vote on the legislation Tuesday afternoon. The chamber voted 216-214 to adopt a rule -- which governs debate on legislation -- for Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-La.) continuing resolution. The measure would keep the government funded through Sept. 30. It's unknown whether the bill will have enough support to pass, as Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has maintained he would not vote in favor of it. Several other Republicans are undecided, even after hearing support from Vice President Vance. Democrats are expected to oppose the legislation in large numbers as they raise concerns about the cuts included in the bill. Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are cautious about blocking the funding bill, fearing a government shutdown could backfire on them politically. And as usual, that's the only thing they care about. Notice the media is now making the case for a shutdown -- while in the past, they've screamed that the country would be destroyed by a shutdown. Anything to prop up their degenerate Communist party. Only 29% of voters support a shutdown -- almost all of them #Resistance progressives who will do anything to thwart Trump and his voters.

As we suspected: Only about 20% of the country favors this constant woke propaganda. Unfortunately, it turns out that it's the woke propaganda enthusiasts who control all the media.
But the public has had it up to their eye teeth in woke and won't be having it any longer.Disney has its abrasive woke non-star Rachel Zegler on lockdown, almost certainly because they know she's a toxic person who will hurt the film's prospects even further if she's allowed to publicly run her giant yap.
Snow White has more than just poisonous apples to worry about, judging from the upcoming movie's revised box office forecast. The live-action re-imagining of Disney's animated classic is already facing an uphill battle thanks to all the controversy swirling about the Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler-led film. However, now the most recent projections indicate that Snow White could make far less than the $63 million to $70 million originally predicted back in early February. Well, according to a new report published by The Hollywood Reporter, Snow White is now eyeing a more modest neighborhood of $48 million to $58 million domestically. Originally, long-range forecasts published by Boxoffice Pro indicated director Marc Webb's take on the beloved character might make somewhere between $65 million to $85 million, and, even on the low end, that window was much more promising than the new numbers in the revised forecast.
Here are some of Fair Rachel's greatest hits:
With just days to go before the release of its live-action Snow White remake, Disney is drastically reducing its usual Hollywood premiere spectacle. The studio is still hosting an event on March 15 at the El Capitan Theatre, but it won't include the extensive red carpet and media presence typically associated with a major Disney release. Instead, only photographers and a house crew will be allowed to cover the event, with no traditional press interviews taking place. Disney has not commented on this shift, but even Variety acknowledges that this decision comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding the film. The move follows months of backlash and marketing missteps, making it clear that Disney is playing defense as the film nears its March 21 theatrical release. In the past, Disney has gone all-out for live-action remakes, with elaborate red carpet events, numerous interviews, and a media blitz to build hype. The decision to scale back this aspect of Snow White signals a lack of confidence in the film's reception. For context, even underperforming Disney films have received full red carpet treatment. ... This premiere downgrade aligns with Disney's broader approach to limiting Snow White's exposure. As we previously reported, lead actress Rachel Zegler has been noticeably absent from American press appearances. Instead, Disney sent her on a scripted, highly controlled press tour in Japan, where she was unlikely to face tough questions about her past comments or the film's creative direction. This is a stark contrast to how Disney promotes its other high-profile films. Usually, the lead star is front and center in talk shows, interviews, and press junkets leading up to the release. The decision to keep Zegler largely away from the American media suggests the studio is trying to prevent further controversy.
She mocked the original film as being dated and creepy. She said that is about Snow White being a leader. The "Fairest of them all" doesn't mean beauty but who is most fair and just. She posted "Free Palestine" while her co-star, Gal Gadot, is Israeli. She said she should be paid if she has to wear a Disney princess dress for several hours a day. She wished "No peace" to Trump supporters. The media keeps trying to blame racism, but there are many other reasons fans are upset.Gal Gadot seems to be firing back against the Li'l Terror Supporter Rachel.
Disney's Snow White has been a public relations nightmare from the start, but now, it seems the controversy has gone beyond bad trailers and box office projections. The two lead actresses, Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler, appear to be on completely opposite sides of one of the most divisive global conflicts of our time--and it may be showing in more ways than one. At an Anti-Defamation League (ADL) event this week, Gadot received the ADL International Leadership Award and delivered a passionate speech affirming her support for Israel and condemning what she sees as growing hostility toward the Jewish community. The speech comes just months after Zegler posted "#FreePalestine" while promoting the Snow White trailer, directly tying the Disney film to her stance on the Middle Eastern conflict. While Gadot never directly mentioned Zegler, the timing, wording, and strong rebuke of those who "celebrate hostility" certainly feel like a pointed response. And if that wasn't enough, the tension between the two actresses became even more obvious when they appeared together at the Academy Awards this week. When the pair presented an award together at the Oscars, people noticed they stood as far apart as possible and did not make eye contact with each other. They seemed ashamed to encounter each other in public, like when you run into your brother-in-law at a porno store. Or so I am told. The movie opens March 21st. I hope it is the final nail in the coffin of woke propaganda.

But the Price of Eggs Has "Plummeted" Under Trump.
The Democrats' major attack on Trump is that he promised inflation would begin to fall on "day one" and it hasn't fallen yet. That was the point of that embarrassing robotic-repetition-of-the-same-message we saw on Monday of last week.
Disgraced coked-up hasbeen loser Al Franken just pushed this Democrat talking point last night. Scott Jennings pushed back. But bad news for Democrats on that front.Remember when Democrats thought they had a winning message to combat Trump's popularity by harping about egg prices? They just lost their favorite talking point. "Instead of leaning into Trump's teardown of the federal government or his alliance with billionaire lieutenant Elon Musk, they're steering to what they perceive as the everyday concerns of Americans -- none more important than grocery prices and eggs in particular," the Associated Press reported earlier this month. ...It is very important we see some kind of improvement in the rate of inflation. The earlier we see it, the more likely we are to actually win the midterms.
According to Trading Economics, after reaching an all-time high of $8.17 per dozen in early March, egg prices have plummeted to $5.51, which now sits below the nearly $7 average when President Trump took office in January.
As the above chart shows, prices were trending up in the final months of Biden's presidency. However, Democrats didn't acknowledge the rising prices until after Trump took office in an attempt to blame his policies for the rising prices. The ironic thing about the Democrats' attacks on Trump is that he inherited the egg price situation from Joe Biden. The Biden administration's disastrous decision to slaughter 150 million egg-laying chickens in an attempt to contain avian flu is what sent prices soaring. Major restaurant chains like Denny's and Waffle House were forced to implement egg surcharges just to stay afloat. Some markets saw prices reach absurd highs, with a San Francisco Safeway charging a mind-boggling $10.99 per dozen.

Seems like Bezos has created his own self-deportation scheme.
By telling opinion columnists they can no longer fulminate endlessly for censorship and suppression, he's encouraging the Dead Enders to MoveOn.org.Ruth Marcus is gone. I want to see over-the-top Democrat shill Catherine Rampell resign next. But she won't. She needs the paycheck and she's otherwise unemployable.
A top political columnist for The Washington Post resigned today, accusing Post chief executive and publisher Will Lewis of killing her column that criticized owner Jeff Bezos's drive to overhaul the opinion pages to focus on his libertarian priorities. Post columnist and Associate Editor Ruth Marcus, who has worked at the paper for four decades, says she can no longer stay there. "Jeff's announcement that the opinion section will henceforth not publish views that deviate from the pillars of individual liberties and free markets threatens to break the trust of readers that columnists are writing what they believe, not what the owner has deemed acceptable," Marcus wrote in a resignation letter obtained by NPR. More than 75,000 digital subscribers canceled in the 48 hours after Bezos revealed his intentions late last month, which included an edict that the paper would not print opposing views; then Opinions Editor David Shipley stepped down after vainly trying to dissuade Bezos from his course. Marcus confirmed to NPR she had resigned and the authenticity of the letter but declined further comment. "Will's decision to not ...run the column that I wrote respectfully dissenting from Jeff's edict - something that I have not experienced in almost two decades of column-writing - underscores that the traditional freedom of columnists to select the topics they wish to address and say what they think has been dangerously eroded," she wrote. ... All this led to critical columns about the endorsement decision in the Post's own pages and multiple resignations by editorial board members and by contributors to the wider opinions section. Shipley, while still editor, killed a cartoon late last year by Pulitzer Prize-winner Ann Telnaes showing Bezos among the media and tech figures abasing themselves before Trump; she resigned. A deluge of veterans have taken jobs at competing news outlets.

Northern Syria, especially the part towards the Mediterranean coast, is in the throes of an extremely bloody conflict with massacres against Alawites and Christians alike by the Turkish-backed Islamic regime and its jihadist militants. The ethnic cleansing, which threatens to destabilize once again the country that has experienced endless warfare for 15 years, is unfolding under the gaze of the international community, which condemns but for now has not gone beyond…recommendations for “restraint“. The United States and Russia have, however, called for the United Nations Security Council to meet on Monday, behind closed doors to discuss the escalating violence. The latest tally from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights puts the death toll at least 1,311 in recent days. Of these, more than 830 were civilians, mostly Alawites, the majority of whom were executed. More than 480 are the armed dead from both sides.
Nobody cares about the Arabs being murdered by other Arabs, and certainly nobody cares about the Christians being murdered. Oh, there will be meetings and talk of boycotts and there will absolutely be a stern lecture from some United Nations functionary about the opportunity for peace and prosperity now that the Assad regime has fallen. But very little will be done, and Syria will become another dysfunctional Muslim dictatorship, whose thugs will cruise around the country killing anyone they dislike or whose religion is inconvenient. Sort of like how it was under Assad, only nastier. Israel was vilified when, soon after Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham conquered Syria, they entered the country and established a buffer zone, because unlike the naive and foolish NYT, Israel knows what Jihad means and what can happen. If al-Shara of the trimmed beard would send his henchmen to kill Muslims and Christians, what would he do with Israelis? Oh, Israel also destroyed the majority of the Syrian army's weaponry, because fanatical 7th century maniacs with missiles is a bad combination. But the problem for Christians remains, and absent an Israeli invasion of Syria, who is going to protect them? The United Nations? The Pope? The American Army? The EU? Maybe we can convince Putin to send troops...after all, he was a supporter of Assad!

“I’m not a huge fan of the kick the can down the road continuing resolution as the best form of how we fund our government, but what I do believe is that you’ve got to figure out how to empower President Trump and Elon to continue to keep the lights on to carry out DOGE,” Roy said. [Chip] Roy said he is still combing through the 99-page bill, which was released on Saturday, but emphasized that it puts a stranglehold on spending.
So we have to spend money to save money? Okay. But here we are again, even after all the fiascos of personnel vetting from Trump 1.0, this happened:
OK, I hope that this is the last time that I have to write about this execrable woman. If I don't have to, it's because she ends up toeing the Trump 47 company line — which I sincerely hope will be the case. Should I have the occasion to write anything about the goings-on at the Department of Labor, it won't be about anything pleasant. . . The Senate has confirmed that former Oregon Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer will lead the Department of Labor, finalizing President Donald Trump's Cabinet. This confirmation marks a significant step in the administration's efforts to fill key positions, with Chavez-DeRemer poised to oversee the nation's wor kforce policies and labor standards. . . I have not been shy about my dislike for this woman's politics. For starters, she's an Oregon Republican, which I'm not even sure is legal. When it comes to Big Labor, she's virtually indistinguishable from your garden variety Democrat. She's so awful in that regard that she's got me agreeing with Mitch McConnell. . . Her nomination set off all kinds of warning bells for me because she was one of the co-sponsors of the Dem-friendly PRO Act, which legalizes union thuggery and bullying via what we used to call "card check" back in the Tea Party days. It was one of the more insidious Dem initiatives that we were fighting against lo those many years ago. Suddenly, the guy who I'd enthusiastically voted for was nominating her for a position in his cabinet.Meanwhile the Democrats are exposing themselves, quite literally as the insane lunatics they are.

Heil Trump! Heil Poutine!”While it's Springtime for Tit-ler, Bernie Sandersnista is yucking it up about Bigguss Dichus
Over the weekend, Bernie Sanders held a rally. Someone on his staff decided it would be a great idea to invite Thomas Gabel (aka “Laura Jane Grace,” his professional name) to sing for the gathered crowd. It was not a great idea. Gabel thinks he’s a woman and, with that belief, comes a mind that permanently lives in a sexual gutter. Therefore, Gabel sang a graphic, deeply offensive song about the Biblical God as a sexual predator assaulting people. Believe it or not, it was a good thing for America that he did this . . They’re not the Democrats of old, who were normal, working- and middle-class people and patriots, but who misguidedly believed that bigger government would help them achieve the American dream. Instead, they are deeply sick people who despise American and Western institutions, especially Christianity, and want to destroy these institutions in the name of a fusion of Marxism, Islamism, and nihilism. With luck, Americans will run away from this dystopian desire for our future.
And just for laughs, I give you the ultimate glittering jewel of stupidity, Jasmine Crockett
Taking a break from posting cringey rap-sync TikTok in the halls of Congress, the Texas congresswoman took to the airwaves to declare that crossing the U.S. border in violation of U.S. law doesn’t actually…violate…U.S. law. Yes, she said that. “It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally,” Crockett told MSNBC over the weekend. “It’s not a criminal…it’s not a crime.” “They really want our local law enforcement to go and round up people when they could be looking out for the murderers and the sexual abusers and the robbers, they want them to go and round people up on civil accusations,” she rambled on, referring to efforts by the Trump administration and some red states to allow local and state law enforcement agencies to help in detaining illegal aliens. We’ll just skip over the part where many of the illegal aliens allowed in under the Biden junta were, in fact, murderers, sexual abusers, and robbers - not that we knew that, of course, given the junta's unwillingness to treat unlawful border crossing like the crime that it is.
Yes, she has the intellectual agility of plankton. But is she wholly unaware of what she's saying or does she actually believe it? Or is it more of she's saying it in the belief if not hope that anyone who hears it will nod their head in agreement. I think the results of the last election explodes that theory all to hell, and ditto the transexual madness. Elsewhere the jackhammering into rubble of the so-called "Black Lives Matter" Plaza in DC is a joy to behold. And let it be a metaphor for the anti-American left in general, that have brought us to the very brink of destruction. Lest we forget that Derek Chauvin, the police officer who in the course of doing his job unfortunately had to cause the death of a career criminal who was resisting an arrest that likely would have returned him to prison for perhaps the rest of his born days, since George Floyd already was in poor health pls the swallowing of his stash of narcotics is what killed him, not the fictitious knee on his neck which the suppressed coroners report ultimately revealed. Lots of other goodies, such as the self-gassing apostates and the Democrats rallying in support of the Columbia University Hamas terrorism and Jew-slaughter booster potentially facing deportation. And twisted harridan Randy Weingarten's head exploding with the potential shuttering of the Dept. of Education.
A measles outbreak in the Southwest? You don't say. Gotta be RFK Jr and Trump's and Musk's fault for cutting funds to Medicare! It has nothing to do with millions of unvetted third world peasant disease carriers who have invaded us for the past 4 years, right? That would be xenophobic to even hint at that.
And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

I'm sure you remember Biden's "CBP One App." The app enabled illegal immigrants to apply for asylum by checking a few boxes on a phone app. They would illegally immigrate to America and Biden would claim they were here legally because the app had assigned them a court hearing for their bogus asylum claims in like 6-10 years or whatever.
Trump has gently tweaked "CBP One." It's now the CBP Home app. Illegals can now use it to notify the government that they're leaving the US to go back home.
The Trump administration is rolling out a new app to replace the controversial CBP One app with the new replacement designed to facilitate the self-deportation of illegal immigrants. The Department of Homeland Security is announcing the CBP Home app -- which will launch with a self-deportation reporting feature for those in the country illegally. It replaces the CBP One app, which was expanded by the Biden administration to allow migrants to schedule appointments at ports of entry to be paroled into the U.S. Hundreds of thousands were paroled into the U.S. as a result. The Trump administration has ended the ability to use the app for that purpose. All CBP One apps will update to the new CBP Home app. "The Biden Administration exploited the CBP One App to allow more than 1 million aliens to illegally enter the United States. With the launching of the CBP Home App, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system," DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement. The app allows aliens to "Submit Intent to Depart" and submit information regarding their intent to leave the U.S. They can also provide information to verify they have left the U.S., a function limited to those who were paroled into the U.S. "The CBP Home App gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream. If they don't, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return," Noem said.
Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_ SCOOP: The Trump admin has repurposed the controversial Biden era CBP One cell phone app into a self deportation app called CBP Home that launches today. DHS tells me any migrants who had the prior CBP One app will have it auto update to this new app, & DHS can use data from prior CBP One registrations to track migrants for removal. The new app allows illegal aliens and migrants in the US to register with CBP to self deport. They fill out biographical information, including their countries of citizenship, which country they plan to return to, their alien registration numbers, contact information, and it allows them to upload photos of themselves to confirm their identity. All of it is then submitted to CBP, and they leave the country.
You may be asking yourself -- why would an illegal alien want to self deport? In a statement to FOX News -- DHS Secretary Kristi Noem answers that question.
"The CBP Home app gives aliens to option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream. If they don't, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return," Noem said. "The Biden administration exploited the CBP One app to allow more than one million aliens to enter the United States. With the launching of the CBP Home app, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system."
DHS says it is significantly cheaper for the US if illegal aliens decide to self deport, and limited ICE resources can instead be used to target criminal aliens.
Outstanding. Can't wait for an Obama judge to rule that Trump has to keep Biden's app, and for Amy Coney Barrett to bless that ruling.

Gentlemen -- start your lawsuits.
It's time to bankrupt this corrupt grifter organization -- which deliberately allows foreign donors to illegally donate to Democrats, and which allows the fraud of "smurfing," whereby foreign donors, or donors who have already maxed out their donations, donate under an assumed name -- once and for all. Open their books. Open their books. Open their books. Here's one flier being passed around by Democrats, but not necessarily ActBlue. And the DOJ needs to start investigating criminally. There is a massive campaign to destroy Tesla through terrorism, going after both Tesla showrooms and Tesla drivers. There are mutterings about assassinating Elon Musk, a media campaign to ostracize and demonize him, and normal people want it to stop, as they should. They aim their ire at Musk because he is an easier target than thousands of activists. If only Musk were compliant we can get back to "normal," even if normal is a pattern of corruption that is bankrupting the country. Bankruptcy is in the future; the low-level civil war is right here and now. I look at this coordinated campaign and react with outrage at the people doing it and funding it. Many ordinary people look at it and see that convincing the protesters to act like adults instead of throwing tantrums and expect the authorities to stamp out illegal and disruptive activity. The former are like parents who keep giving children candy and an iPad to shut up their brats in exchange for temporary peace and quite, and those of us who want to impose order as adults who are socializing the children to participate in society.
ActBlue is a criminal organization, engaged in wide-scale money laundering from foreigners, including foreign governments, and of course in all likelihood USAID through the NGOs they fund. We already know that BLM was funded by USAID, and we have only scratched the surface.

Sec. of State Marco Rubio announces major overhaul at USAID, cancels 83% of programs After a six-week review, Sen. Marco Rubio announced the cancellation of 83% of USAID programs, citing wasteful spending and harm to U.S. national interests. The move eliminates 5,200 contracts worth tens of billions of dollars, with remaining programs shifting under the State Department for better oversight. Rubio thanked staff for their efforts in implementing what he called a "historic reform." Key Details: Sen. Marco Rubio revealed that 5,200 USAID contracts have been canceled after a six-week review. The cuts affect tens of billions in foreign aid, which Rubio argued was not serving U.S. national interests. The remaining 1,000 programs will be administered under the State Department with improved oversight. ... "The 5,200 contracts that are now canceled spent tens of billions of dollars in ways that did not serve, and in some cases even harmed, the core national interests of the United States," Rubio stated. His move reflects growing scrutiny among conservatives regarding how taxpayer money is used in foreign aid, particularly under USAID, which has long been criticized for funding controversial projects abroad. The rest of the programs are being taken away from USAID and will be administered by the State Department. This leaves USAID in control of nothing, and presumably, it will be shut down.
Rubio thanked the Department of Global Engagement (DOGE) and USAID staff who worked tirelessly to carry out what he described as a long-overdue reform. The announcement is likely to spark debate in Washington, as Democrats and globalist policymakers have traditionally defended USAID's expansive role in international development.

Failed Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is facing condemnation from conservatives after she appeared on MSNBC to defend a $2 billion initiative under the Biden administration's EPA to purchase green energy appliances for Americans. "Stacey Abrams linked Power Forward Communities received $2 billion in tax dollars in 2024 after reporting just $100 in revenue the year before. They were so unqualified that the grant agreement required the NGO to complete 'How to Develop a Budget' training within 90 days," EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said in comment provided to Fox News Digital on Sunday. "$2 billion in hard earned tax dollars should not have been doled out to this organization for many reasons, especially if they don't even know how to put together a budget. The Biden EPA 'gold bars' scheme is riddled with self-dealing and conflicts of interest, unnecessary middlemen, unqualified recipients, and massively reduced government oversight. The funds are currently frozen, and the DOJ and FBI are investigating." Zeldin's response followed Abrams joining MSNBC on Friday to defend the Biden administration granting $2 billion last year to a group called Power Forward Communities. The group is a consortium of housing nonprofits, such as Habitat for Humanity International, United Way Worldwide and Rewiring America. Abrams reportedly "played a pivotal role" in establishing the group, according to a LinkedIn post by Ian Magruder, who works at one of the coalition's partners, Rewiring America, Fox Digital previously reported. Abrams worked with Rewiring America to bring energy efficient appliances to a Georgia community in 2023 and 2024, she said on MSNBC while defending the billions in funds provided to Power Forward Communities. "What is this organization? What is your relation to to it? And what does it do," MSNBC's Chris Hayes asked Abrams during the program. "In 2023 and 2024, I led a program called Vitalizing De Soto. We worked in a tiny town in south Georgia to demonstrate that by replacing energy-inefficient appliances with efficient appliances, you can lower your cost. And in fact, we accomplished that for 75% of the community. They got appliances that are lowering their bills," Abrams said, explaining one woman in the Georgia town saw her energy costs slashed by half due to the project.
Abrams continued that the project was so beneficial to Americans, that a coalition of organizations joined forces to call on the EPA under the Biden administration to copy the program and deliver the same results nationwide. "Based on that program, a coalition of organizations -- famous organizations -- came together and said to the EPA, 'If we can do this here, we can do this for millions more Americans. Let us invest the money of America in lowering the cost for Americans.' And the EPA said, 'OK, great, go for it.' And they then granted those dollars to this coalition of organizations who came together, bringing 250 years and $100 billion worth of experience to doing this project," she said. The $2 billion was used for the "decarbonization of homes" in low-income communities and paid for new household appliances, such as water heaters, induction stoves, solar panels, EV chargers, and weatherization, according to an April 2024 press release from Power Forward Communities.
Steve Milloy
@JunkScience The EPA-Stacey Abrams grift revealed: @staceyabrams just told MSBNC's @chrislhayes that the Biden EPA gave her $2 billion to buy people new home appliances to reduce electric bills. So Democrats upgraded vote buying from Obama phones to Biden refrigerators.

Mollie
@MZHemingway Semafor reports Democrat Chris Murphy has left his wife for Tara McGowan, who runs large Democrat propaganda sites purporting to be local news.
He was spotted canoodling with the infant. Actually the NY Post says "cuddling" but I prefer the retro insinuation term "canoodling."
Chris Murphy was spotted at a Washington, DC, watering hole on a date with a progressive media mogul and strategist who's boosted his efforts as a leading anti-Trump politician in Congress -- just months after the Connecticut Democrat announced he and his wife were separating. Murphy, 51, was caught "cuddling" with Courier Newsroom publisher Tara McGowan, 39, last Monday by the bar at the Red Hen, located just one mile north of Capitol Hill in the district's Bloomingdale neighborhood, a source told The Post, sharing a photo of the pair's romantic rendezvous. The source said Murphy wrapped his arm around McGowan's shoulder at one point, and the two were "being cutesy" while scanning the menu together for rustic Italian fare. The cozy outing took place the night before President Trump's address to a joint session of Congress, which the senator sat out.LOL. He took the night off to bang his schoolgirl sidepiece.
And what's this?
The Democratic lawmaker is apparently still married to his wife, Cathy Holahan, a lawyer based in Washington, as neither has filed for divorce in Connecticut or DC, per public court records. The couple announced they were parting ways last November. A DC Dem insider told Semafor that McGowan is having a love affair with the senator -- and shared a selfie of them on her private Instagram last week with the caption "not postponing joy." As of Monday morning, McGowan had deactivated her X account. Murphy and his wife met at the University of Connecticut's law school, married in 2007 and have two children together.
McGowan was until last year married to Michael Halle, a fellow Dem strategist and former senior adviser to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. He also served on the presidential campaigns of Buttigieg, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The Courier founder and publisher filed for divorce in May 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences," and the marriage was dissolved the following year in April, Rhode Island state court filings show. A self-described "childless woman voter," McGowan has used her personal platform and position for years at the digital outlet to promote Murphy, retweeting his TV appearances and touting his "pro-democracy" stances and policy priorities on gun control, immigration and foreign relations. "Beyond original newsletters, podcasts + social video series, COURIER's new national vertical will publish video opinion pieces from prominent pro-democracy leaders fighting for our rights and freedoms, like this call from U.S. Senator @ChrisMurphyCT to ban assault weapons in [America]," she reposted one of the outlet's X messages in November 2023, two months after her final divorce proceeding hearing. "Republicans wanted -- demanded -- border legislation. Democrats, led by @ChrisMurphyCT, negotiated a bipartisan deal," stated another Feb. 7, 2024, X post by Courier featuring a video interviewing Murphy.Apparently she's Soros-funded too. Duh. Even the very leftwing propaganda outlet Wikipedia finds fault with McGowan's propaganda:
Courier Newsroom is an American digital media company that operates news outlets and sponsors political content intended to support Democratic Party candidates. It microtargets voters via social media advertising with the intention to both inform and persuade. Courier's lack of transparency about its funding sources and glowing coverage of Democratic candidates have raised questions about its reliability and about the line between advocacy and journalism. Courier engages in political microtargeting and the Columbia Journalism Review described Courier's business model as "money from interested parties who seek a particular political outcome." Courier was founded by Tara McGowan, a political strategist and former journalist who previously worked for the Obama campaign and the SuperPAC Priorities USA Action. Courier was launched by ACRONYM and is now owned by Good Information Inc. ... The Courier Newsroom's local digital news outlets are not traditional town newspapers. Instead, they are websites designed to encourage people in key swing states to vote Democratic, while looking like local newspapers. The articles are promoted on social media such as Facebook, which does not prohibit the practice because the newspapers are for-profit. Funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and movie producers. Courier Newsroom received $250,000 from Planned Parenthood between June 2021 and June 2022.Reid Hoffman? The guy rumored to be an Epstein client?
... The New York Times reported that Courier "published articles favoring Democrats and received millions of dollars from dark money groups. It was paid $2.6 million by a nonprofit linked to House Democratic leadership to promote articles." As of 2024, Courier Newsroom had spent more than $12 million on Facebook and Instagram ads. This number does not include spending on TikTok, which does not disclose advertising spending. In October 2024, Courier Newsroom spent over $6 million on political ads on Facebook, making them the third highest spender on political ads on Meta, trailing only the Harris and Trump campaigns themselves. According to the Columbia Journalism Review, "Courier's pattern of spending in the 2024 election cycle also raises inevitable questions about funding sources and demonstrates to what extent the network is a campaigning tool rather than local journalism." Courier's ads recruited participants "to a program that claims they can receive up to $400 for talking to their family and friends about 'voting for Kamala Harris and Democrats this election cycle.'" In February 2025, Tara McGowan addressed a summit of Democratic donors and operatives that had gathered to "discuss how the left's well-funded digital media ecosystem failed in the 2024 election." The meeting included representatives of the Emerson Collective, Catalist, Soros Fund Management, NowThis, and Crooked Media. The production of more effective short and long form video was discussed as was "how to better collaborate with influencers to push progressive messages out."Russian interference, you guys. Here's the website, though, bear in mind, the grift is to post stuff that looks like "local news coverage" on FaceBook. Those "articles" would presumably be better disguised than the website, which openly begs for donations to support "progressive media."
Constantly Underfoot
@ConstantUnder This is sadly funny on many levels.
1. It explains his sudden prolific posting and appearances.
2. He left his wife for free social media advice.
3. The new gal is Really bad at social media advice.
4.And did he decide to leave his wife now so he has 4 years to improve his image?

Another pro-terrorist foreign agent.
Federal immigration officials have arrested Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil, the leader behind pro-Hamas campus protests at Columbia University. ICE agents detained Khalil at his university-owned apartment, and he now faces potential deportation as part of President Trump's crackdown on radical campus unrest. Key Details: Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia Apartheid Divest leader, was arrested by ICE agents Saturday night at his university provided residence. He remains under federal custody, with his green card and visa potentially being revoked. Khalil led demonstrations that included materials reportedly sourced from Hamas and Hezbollah. President Trump has pledged to pull $400 million in federal funding from Columbia over its failure to curb anti-Semitic campus activism. Diving Deeper: Federal immigration authorities arrested Mahmoud Khalil, the Palestinian activist who spearheaded radical anti-Israel protests at Columbia University, in an overnight raid at his campus-adjacent apartment. Khalil, who completed his graduate studies at Columbia in December, is now facing potential deportation and the revocation of his visa and green card. Khalil's attorney, Amy Greer, confirmed the arrest Sunday, stating that ICE agents entered his university-owned residence a few blocks from Columbia's main campus and took him into custody. Despite no longer being a student, Khalil remained in school-provided housing under a university policy that allows students to stay post-graduation. His arrest comes amid an intensifying crackdown by the Trump administration on left-wing campus unrest, particularly at elite institutions where anti-Semitic rhetoric and violent demonstrations have surged. Khalil was a key leader in Columbia Apartheid Divest, a group at the forefront of protests that descended into chaos, including the recent seizure of Barnard College's Milstein Library. Videos from the protest showed Khalil using a bullhorn outside the library, where rioters distributed Hamas propaganda, including pamphlets justifying the October 7, 2023, massacre of Israeli civilians. Demonstrators also passed around images of deceased Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, killed in an Israeli airstrike last September. The people who scream about "backlash" are the first to stoke hatred of others. Happy Monday, everyone. I hope that you've all adjusted to Daylight Savings Time better than I have.
