No, the solution is creating simulated fake work for them to do, while AI still does the actual work. That’s the type of out of the box thinking a Harvard MBA teaches.
This is now a thing at places like JP Morgan and Ernst & Young.

I quit going to a local pizza place years ago because there was an employee doing various nasty cleaning things and then without so much as wiping off her gloves started stocking the salad bar. A complaint to the manager brought no good response, and we never went back. We'd spent a lot of money there in the past. Too bad for them.
Their pizza was average, the salad bar was okay (except in retrospect), but mostly the kids liked the video/pinball games. Ah, well.

To keep everything in alignment, a small metal guide slides onto the magazine and holds the clip while the cartridges are pushed into the magazine box. Once the cartridges are in, the guide is removed from the magazine.
The unfortunate Marine wasn't listening when they told him how to use a stripper clip guide, and managed to shove the entire clip into the magazine. I suspect there is another clip already in the magazine, and now it is hopelessly jammed.

When I took my oldest daughter, the dance was a big flop ... because middle school girls with their fathers.
One of the moms running the dance decides to get transgressive and puts on "I'm Too Sexy".
No one at all goes out to dance, so after a few beats, I head out to the dance floor and start lip-synching and doing a fair imitation of the guys dancing in the MTV video.
After my first pass across the gym, I rip off my sports coat and make another pass. At this point all of the dads are howling and the girls that have seen the video are giggling and trying to explain it to their friends.
I get back to my daughter and reach out my hand. She pauses for a moment, and then concedes that sometimes you just have to go with the "dad joke" rather than fight it.
She comes out on the dance floor and starts copying me, but much more gracefully. Shortly thereafter the dance floor gets flooded with fathers and daughters, and the rest of the dance goes very well.
When alcohol is not a permissible social lubricant, some times you just need a big 'ol Idiot.
Needless to say, I still like that song.

Some of those "hits that shouldn't have happened" were pretty darn good. "Afternoon Delight" was charming. "The Chipmunk Song" (in small doses, say, once a year) and "The Streak" (ditto) were funny, as was "My Ding-a-Ling." And "Macarena" has an irresistible melody to it.
None of them is "City of New Orleans," "Classical Gas," "Fancy," or "Ode to Billie Joe," but not many songs can be.

I don't know why, which is my standard answer to anything.
I am so happy that I have nothing to do tomorrow! What a great day is ahead! If I have a week or two of social stuff I start getting a bit nuts. I am right there currently on the map.
We "had" to meet DIL's parents for dinner Wed night after doing a bunch of stuff for two weeks of socializing. They were visiting from FL and I like them. Her mother is fun when she's not wacko from travel (I will blame this instead of her mother's cat who bit her wrist and she showed me).
I heard, in great detail, about her father being cremated (semi-normal discussion), and her uncle who's an undertaker of a funeral home and gory details I'd rather not know. I kept thinking she'd stop so I could change the subject but this went on for awhile and I tried not to glug my wine. My husband says she's the only person he's met who talks more than I do...but at least I'm entertaining and don't have a cat bite. The food also sucked at this restaurant.

SpaceX completed the wet-dress rehearsal for Starship, and a Monday launch is on track. This is going to be the first actual orbital flight of Starship. It will be early morning, with the launch window opening at 8:15 AM EDT.
This will also deploy some operational Starlinks, and the be the first real payload it carries. The plan is for 6 orbits, and then come back down in the Pacific close to Chile.
No booster or ship catches are planned, as some were hoping. That "may" happen next flight.

Grunge was a music genre from the 90's that started in Seattle as a form of underground rejection of the way that new wave and punk became industrialized, and made exactly like the music they were supposed to be objecting to. And once it became popular it was picked up by the major labels and turned into the very form of music it was supposed to be rejecting.
Grunge made flannel shirts popular as urban street wear.

I didn't have a chance to chime in earlier today on the Lindsay Clancy post, and the vile opinion column by Wendy Murphy. She always had a bit of a feminist streak going back years, but clearly being in the ivory tower of edumacation has influenced her.
In fact, she was one of the first harpies pointing at Karen Read as guilty of murdering her Boston cop boyfriend all based on planted evidence from a purposely botched investigation, and statements by a local news outlet of slam-dunk video evidence that didn't actually exist. And she's been strangely silent about the murder of a young woman by the name of Sandra Birchmore who was abused and groomed by LEOs in Canton, MA and the Mass. State Police. Oh, and she was 10 weeks pregnant at the time.

I know the names. I can't name any of their songs although I'd probably recognize some if I heard them. One the few "modern" groups which I like is "Dire Straits" . That's about it .

Dammit - Nancy Grace is a motormouth TV LAWYER who completely fucked up and formed a media mob to accuse and almost convict the poor security guard named Richard Jewell of planting a bomb at the Olympic venue in Atlanta in 1996. He was the guy that found the bomb and had pushed people back, saving many lives.
It's Nancy Grace ROMAN! If you're too damned lazy to type all three names, call it the Nancy Roman telescope.

So I thought to myself, if only I had some sort of lathe so I could try paring it down with a chisel.
Not having a lathe I have screwed a couple of L brackets to the picnic table to make a rudimentary lathe.
Supposedly it will be powered by my wife using the socket adaptor on the electric drill to spin it.
We will see if my rudimentary lathe will do any good, tomorrow.

Dire Straits has been around for 40-odd years. They are/were very fine musicians, and had appeal far beyond the teen demographic. There is an album out there with Mark Knopfler, the lead guitar player, doing duets with Chet Atkins. Well worth a listen

Nancy Grace Roman, the person, went by "Nancy Grace", both together as her first name. Same way my mother does. So, her first name, the one she called herself by was not just Nancy, but Nancy Grace.

Instead of using a chisel, try spinning the handle in your rudimentary lathe and using a flap wheel on an angle grinder to form the taper. To use a chisel on a wood lathe, you need a VERY solid tool rest. The forces involved can be pretty fierce.

But I don't care about stupid leftist virtue signaling so...I took a look at what the Soviet Union provided and the answer is mixed.
The Soviets did convert a group of ships into cruise liners and they used them partly for local cruising around the black sea and partly as real cruise ships for foreigners even losing one on rocks off of Australia.
Looking at the Black Sea cruise experience well...no private bathrooms and people packed in like sardines... doesn't look fun to me but I'll give them credit they did allocate some resources to building cruise ships though a cynic might assume it was to build knowledge on how to run the profitable international cruises.
