Polls Are For Strippers But Strippers Seem Genuinely Interested In Me
A new Harris/Harvard X poll has Trump only up by three over Kamala, 48-45.
He had been up seven over Biden, but this poll was taken during the burst of Intense Media Infatuation with Kamala (which will last through the first week of November) and before Trump has deployed his information ads about who this drunk slut is. Also, up three points still means he'd win the electoral college by a lot. Furthermore, 48-45 does not include leaners. When you include leaners, he goes up to 52% to 48%, and I do believe that 52% is more than a majority. Lastly, a commenter pointed out that the partisan split for this poll was 40D, 30R. Gallup recently found Republicans to have an identification advantage over Democrats. +10 D is crazy.Even the unsure voters are breaking toward Trump, at least somewhat. The more worrisome data for Democrats are in the charts below, however. Trump holds Republicans to the ticket better than Harris holds her own party in both formulations. In fact, her 87% without leaners should be a red flag for the DNC, suggesting strongly that the party is not as sold on The Anointing as the media claims, even with the full-court press on Kamalot! Take a look at the indie numbers, too. Trump leads by six points without leaners -- and six points with leaners. One has to wonder whether the sample tilts a bit toward the Dems based on those results plus the party loyalty numbers above. If so, Trump's still scoring an outright majority over Harris, who's attractiveness as a candidate is at its zenith before she's forced to open her mouth about policy. In the next slide down, we see even more demographic red flags ahead for Harris and the Dems. Trump leads by 12 among men and only trails by four among women 44/48. Trump also wins an astounding 25% of the black vote and 44% of the Hispanic vote, which is slightly lower than in some other polling.
Before we get to issues, one more worrisome result for Democrats: they only have a +3 in the generic congressional ballot without leaners, when anything less than a +5 usually means losses in the House and Senate. And when leaners get added to the mix, it becomes a +4 for the GOP.

But it is still a wonderful and powerful repudiation of the deeply disturbed idea that Man can change what is elemental about himself. Marx got it wrong 150 years ago, but the heirs to his world-view keep trying. They chip away at religion, at traditional social structures, at the culture of family, and they arrive at the most basic fact...that we are created in God's image. If they can change that...they can change anything!

The judge noted puberty blockers were found to have “very substantial risks and very narrow benefits” by the Cass review, the landmark report commissioned by England’s National Health Service (NHS). Well, we have yet to see, or as I suspect and dread, endure the closing ceremonies. As unsurprising as it is disgusting and horrendous to have to witness. Given what France has done to itself with six decades of allowing mass waves of Islamic immigrants to swamp their nation and culture, ditto much of western Europe as well, this of course as I said comes as no surprise. Neither do the word salads emanating from the pie hole of Commie Harris when it comes to the condemnation of Israel allegedly killing children. Not one peep about the children roasted alive by Hamas in front of their parents. Or most recently the 12 slaughtered by Hezbollah, as she warns Israel not to dare strike north and wipe out that vipers nest.

A complaint has been lodged by Paris 2024, which is at the disposal of the authorities to assist with the investigation.” This marks the second time since the Olympics began that the Israeli soccer club has faced protesters during their match. The horrific shows of antisemitism come as French police have launched an investigation into death threats received by three Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games, according to Sky News. Secret Service Knew About Trump Shooter a Full 100 Minutes Before the Shooting

The Pennsylvania man who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a July 13 campaign rally was spotted by law enforcement officials nearly 100 minutes before Trump walked on stage, according to emails obtained by The New York Times. Among the emails were those from a counter-sniper from a local law enforcement agency who was going off duty at 4:19 p.m. on the day of the shooting and about 90 minutes before Trump, now the GOP presidential nominee, began speaking at the rally, in Butler, Pennsylvania. The newspaper described the movements of the shooter, 20-year-old Matthew Crooks, as "often a step ahead of the Secret Service." The local counter-sniper, who saw Crooks sitting at a picnic table, told his colleagues the unknown male at the time "knows you guys are up there" on the roof of one of the building in a cluster about 150 yards from rally from which Crooks fired. By 5:10 p.m., Crooks left the picnic table and took a position below the counter-snipers. One counter-sniper photographed him. The counter-sniper shared the pictures with other officers at 5:38 p.m., along with a message that Crooks possessed a rangefinder and a suggestion that a uniformed officer "check it out." At 6:11 p.m., Crooks was fatally shot by a Secret Service counter-sniper after firing eight shot, killing on and wounding three including Trump.

M. Night Shyamalan can't fool me any longer. Neither can Kevin Smith. It's all remakes, reboots, sequels and prequels: Another Hellboy sequel or reboot or whatever. This looks terrible: Time Bandits remake. And of course, they can't give dwarves jobs because... giving dwarves jobs would be anti-dwarf? The new Alien movie, Romulus, looks like they spent a ton on it. But is a haunted house movie the best use of a ton of money? I dunno. Deadpool & Wolverine made $210 million in North America on its first four days of release. Woke movie critics have only one complaint: Why didn't Wolverine and Deadpool have gay sex together? Another season of We Wuz Rangz. This time, with a romance between Guyladrial and Sauron. Great, the shippers wanted it, so of course the shippers get it. It will also have gay characters, because of course.Great. So much Gay Representation in Groomer Disney's upcoming show Agatha it'll make you sick.

To be clear, Galadriel never had any kind of romantic relationship with Sauron in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium given she was married to Celeborn. In The Silmarillion, Tolkien wrote, "A queen she was of the woodland Elves, the wife of Celeborn of Doriath, yet she herself was of the Noldor and remembered the Day before days in Valinor, and she was the mightiest and fairest of all the Elves that remained in Middle-earth." Furthermore, he made it clear that Galadriel was Sauron's "chief adversary and obstacle" during the Second Age in Eregion. Nevermind, rhetorical.Biden's proposal, outlined in a Monday op-ed in the Washington Post, includes three main changes to the court, which he describes as "mired in a crisis of ethics." These changes include term limits for justices, a binding code of conduct, and a significant amendment aimed at ensuring that no president is above the law. The president's plan appears to be a direct response to the court's recent 6-3 decision granting broad immunity to presidents for crimes committed while in office. "This nation was founded on a simple yet profound principle: No one is above the law. Not the president of the United States. Not a justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. No one," Biden wrote. He criticized the Supreme Court's decision, arguing it leaves virtually no limits on presidential actions except those self-imposed by the president. Expressing clear concern over Trump potentially returning to office, Biden wrote, "If a future president incites a violent mob to storm the Capitol and stop the peaceful transfer of power--like we saw on Jan. 6th, 2021--there may be no legal consequences." In addition to what he calls the "No One Is Above The Law Amendment," Biden proposed term limits for Supreme Court justices, suggesting that each president should appoint a new justice every two years, with justices serving 18 years in active service. Biden also called for a binding code of conduct for the Supreme Court, criticizing the current voluntary ethics code as "weak and self-enforced." He stated that justices should be required to disclose gifts, refrain from political activities, and recuse themselves from cases where they or their spouses have financial or other conflicts of interest. He argued that every other federal judge is bound by an enforceable code of conduct, and the Supreme Court should not be exempt.The lesser courts are created by Congress and can therefore be regulated by Congress. The Supreme Court is created by the Constitution as an independent branch of government which is co-equal to both the Congress and the executive and therefore answers to neither. Remember, Joe Biden was a "constitutional law professor" at U Penn, just like he was a coal miner, All-American Football Star, and Puerto Rican by way of his family's maid.

Border agents detained three Palestinian migrants who illegally crossed the southern border after they were found to have possible ties to terrorist organizations earlier this month, according to sources. One of the migrants had "salacious photos" on their phone -- including a picture of a masked man holding an AK-47 rifle, federal law enforcement sources said. In addition to the three Palestinians, federal authorities caught one migrant from Turkey who was also suspected of having ties to terror groups.
The migrants were among groups of dozens of migrants who turned themselves in to border agents at the San Diego sector, said sources. An investigation into the migrants is ongoing, sources said. The group was transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating their cases. ... It's the latest example of potential security threats entering the US via the southern border -- especially at San Diego. Overwhelmed Border Patrol agents tell The Post that they do not have the tools to fully vet the migrants who are coming in from all over the world -- particularly into the San Diego area. Mostly, they are only able to use US terror watchlists and other American resources to help determine which migrants could be a terror threat. Border agents do not have access to terror or criminal databases from other countries. "Knowing who these guys are, we have, like, no access to anything international. Like, we really don't and it kind of sucks," said one border agent, who spoke anonymous because they were not authorized to give public statements.

It was reportedly based on The Feast of the Gods, a 17th century painting by Dutch artist Jan Harmensz van Biljert that hangs in the Magnin Museum, in Dijon, eastern France. The painting depicts an assembly of Greek gods on Mount Olympus for a banquet to celebrate the marriage of Thetis and Peleus. The figure seated at the table in the center has a halo of light behind his head.

Thomas Jolly, the opening ceremony director, insisted in an interview with France's BFMTV that "The Last Supper" was not the inspiration behind the scene, explaining that "Dionysus arrives at the table because he is the Greek God of celebration," adding that the particular sequence was entitled "festivity." "The idea was to create a big pagan party in link with the God of Mount Olympus -- and you will never find in me, or in my work, any desire of mocking anyone," Jolly said. ... "To all the Christians of the world who are watching the Paris 2024 ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, know that it is not France that is speaking but a left-wing minority ready for any provocation," she posted on the social platform X, a sentiment that was echoed by religious conservatives internationally.
A drag queen who was one of the many torchbearers for the Paris Olympics had a message for the critics amid uproar over the opening ceremony which appeared to mock the Last Supper. Nicky Doll was among the drag queens to carry the torch of the Olympic flame but also performed during one segment of the ceremony. Doll reposted an image on his Instagram Stories, claiming the image depicted was not of the Last Supper but the feast of Dionysius.
"The opening ceremony did ruffle some feathers... and I LOVE it," Doll wrote on his Instagram Stories on Monday morning. "You know why? Because the Olympics are the biggest stage in the world and us queer people have always been the audience of other people's life and achievement and it is time that we are welcome in the space." "It was my absolute honor to perform in front of billions of people around the world, and celebrate our Olympians," Doll's post continued. "And remember, to the ones that had their feathers ruffled seeing queerness on their screen: WE AIN'T GOING NOWHERE."

Shares of Ford fell more than 11% in after-hours trading Wednesday after the automaker reported much weaker than expected earnings. The company said it was compelled to set aside more money to cover the cost of repairing customers’ vehicles. The company’s adjusted net income fell $1 billion to $1.9 billion, or 47 cents a share. The higher losses are due to lower volume and industry-wide pricing pressure.Ford successfully “sold” a record number of EVs in Q1 of 2024, but at a tremendous loss, due to fire-sale pricing in order to reduce its glut of unsold EVs. But sales plummeted again in Q2, with EV revenue falling off a cliff. Over the past several years, Jim Farley and his band of merry destructors at Ford have sought to fund their EV misadventure by slashing the payroll of Ford’s profitable ICE division.
