An emigre from Soviet Russia sees some parallels between the decrepit, corrupt, election-fixing Soviet leadership and the leadership in Russia before Gorbachev.
(Don't correct me, I'm doing like a thing.)There is much more to like about the 45th president's proposed policies: his stances on domestic energy development, illegal immigration, and stopping the flow of fentanyl--the drug that turned great American cities like San Francisco into hellscapes. I can go on, of course, and these are all important reasons support Trump, but none of these is my main reason. Biden was already exhibiting signs of dementia when he ran in 2020, but with the media circling the wagons and healthy people "quarantined" because of COVID, there was plausible deniability. The very fact that voters were questioning the cognitive status of the prospective leader of the free world was itself a real problem, but people were distracted. Still, I found it impossible to look at Biden without thinking of a decrepit Soviet leader. We can talk of certain parallel features of that regime as they seem to be increasingly common in the U.S., like creeping censorship, the cult of equity and so on. But the most important mark of our lack of freedom was the uncertain way we began talking about the source of power--"they" were making decisions for us and we knew it. At best, we could decipher which way the wind was blowing and adjust accordingly, but we never had any say in the way the country was ruled. For four years, America was governed by an extraconstitutional regime in D.C. In the recently released book Disappearing the President, investigative journalist Lee Smith explains how a "shadow network" of 20-30 people, all Barack Obama's cronies, were able to make all the important decisions. It is beyond frightening. Even if a voter is reluctant to believe Smith, he doesn't need this information to understand that something is terribly wrong with Biden in the White House. After Old Joe's lapses passed the threshold of deniability, he had to be tossed, and Harris was inserted in his place. But considering her lack of both substance and charisma, there is little doubt that she is merely another puppet of the post-democratic regime. Both Biden and Harris--the two individuals whose names appeared on our ballots--are mere figureheads providing cover to this unelected executive. Whoever had the idea of putting them on top of the presidential ticket must really hate the country. How else do we explain the humiliation of saddling us with such an obviously deficient head of state. He must hate women, too; it's a cruel joke to prop up such a stereotypical wine aunt into the role of potentially becoming our first female president. That which simply never happens -- foreigners illegally voting in US elections because the Democrat Party insists on no ballot security whatsoever -- continues happening at an increasing pace. A Chinese foreign exchange student has been charged with multiple counts for illegally voting in Michigan. But they already mixed his vote in with the others so it will be counted! We had a system in place to challenge voter's eligibility -- they would not be banned from voting. Instead, they would be issued a provisional ballot, which would be kept out of the pile of real votes until eligibility had been determined. Only then would the challenged vote be added into the pile of real votes, or discarded. The Democrats have dissolved that system just as they dissolved the border, and for the same reasons. In Michigan, hundreds of thousands of "voters" are voting multiple times, claiming different addresses so that they can keep voting. One voter ID voted twenty nine times. The Michigan Secretary of State refused to clean up the voter rolls, precisely to enable her party to steal election after election. Some of the fake addresses listed are abandoned methodone clinics.
"This 'Operation Get Down' is a halfway house offering substance abuse services," MЯ. Ж tweeted. "I wonder if any of the residents even know they voted." Probably not because, as another X user learned, Operation Get Down "closed down in Nov 2023 and put the building up for sale." The Detroit Free Press reported the news in December. The church in the third photo is St. Peter's Episcopal Church which advertises itself as "not only an 'open and affirming' church, but a congregation that actively seeks to celebrate queerness and our LGBTQIA+ community members." The website offers no indication of their openness toward being one of 29 voting locations for a single voter ID number. No one's allowed to criticize Dominion, because they'll sue you for a billion dollars, so I won't say anything except that there's a "nationwide issue" with Dominion voting machines that makes them even more accurate!!! Peachy Keenan: This election is the last chance to repudiate Obamaism and Obama's agenda of stoking racial strife and provoking race riots to seize power.
Harris, "I don't understand how we got so toxic and just divided." Who was this mystery culprit who injected so much hate into the national discourse? We must track down the man who did this to us! I wanted to hand him a mirror. Obama spent eight years in office tearing up American race relations, which we stupidly assumed had been solved when citizens of every race voted for him as president. But no: that was the start of a long national backslide -- thanks to Obama himself. As a loyal Alinskyite, Obama knew that division and full-blown race riots were the tried-and-true path to electoral victory for the Left, and he did not disappoint. He reignited animosities that had largely been sublimated, turned illegal immigration into a machete to use against American citizens' sovereign rights, and, perhaps most cruelly, weaponized the federal government more brazenly against his political opponents than any previous president. This election, the stakes are high for Obama: If Kamala loses, it will be the end of his pernicious shadow presidency once and for all. Even worse, Democrats may finally realize who the prime architect of the catastrophe is: Obama himself. For he is the key figure responsible for the current predicament the Democrats find themselves in, hamstrung with a sputtering candidate and her bumbling running mate, handpicked for her by Eric Holder, longtime Obama confidant. From Real Clear Polling: Their polling averages for the seven swing states as of October 30, compared to how they looked in 2020 and 2016:

Curtis HouckUpdate:
@CurtisHouck Tim Walz twice refuses to answer questions on 'CBS Mornings' whether he and Kamala Harris oppose any restriction on abortions, even in the third trimester and well after a child reaches viability.... Adriana Diaz: "One of the things that Vice President Harris says she wants to do is restore abortion rights. Should there be any limits on abortion, including limiting third trimester abortions?" Tim Walz: "Look, the Vice President has been very clear, making sure that we restore the right of Roe versus Wade, making sure that women and their health care providers, because these services are health care, making sure those decisions are made in the best interest of the health of the mother and that's exactly what we've talked about the entire time. So, for 52 years, we were very clear on where things were at. Donald Trump gleefully talks about the beautiful thing that he's done, which means women having miscarriages in parking lots. I'm down here, and was in Georgia yesterday where Amber Thurman died, and it was totally preventable, had we not had a Donald Trump abortion ban. So we've been clear about that. Restoration of Roe, that's what we're looking for." Diaz: "Should there be a federal third trimester abortion ban?" Walz: "Look, well -- I'm going to go back again, Roe was very clear on what they did. We want the restoration of Roe, and that's the position we're taking."
NYPost: Vice President Kamala Harris misstated former President Donald Trump's positions on reproductive rights Wednesday at a large rally in North Carolina as she made a closing appeal to undecided voters in the swing state. "He would ban abortion nationwide. He would restrict access to birth control, put IVF treatments at risk and force states to monitor women's pregnancies," the 60-year-old Democratic presidential nominee said in Raleigh. Trump, 78, says he opposes a federal abortion ban and restrictions on birth control, leaving such issues for state governments to decide. He is campaigning to make IVF free and has not advocated for government monitoring of pregnancies.

@karol Breaking: The gunman in the shooting of the Orthodox Jewish man in Chicago is an illegal immigrant from northwest Africa. He crossed our southern border a year and a half ago.
First reports were that he shouted "Alluha Akbar." Maybe he shouted that in his shoot-out with the police, who of course must be defunded for shooting this innocent Person of Color pogromist and assassin.
Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_ NEW: Per four law enforcement sources to me & colleague @GriffJenkins, the suspect charged w/ shooting a Jewish man as he walked to a Chicago synagogue on Saturday is a Mauritanian illegal alien who was caught & released in Border Patrol's San Diego, CA sector in March 2023. Police say 22-year-old Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi walked up to the Orthodox Jew, who was wearing traditional Jewish clothing, and shot him multiple times without saying a word. He then got into a shootout with responding officers, and he was shot himself. He is now charged with 14 felonies.
Don't bother looking for this story from the "mainstream" media. As usual, they're the leaders of a cover-up operation on behalf of the party they are loyal to above all other loyalties.
Fox is told that sanctuary policies in Cook County, IL prohibit local authorities from cooperating with ICE on a detainer request on Abdallahi. Local Jewish leaders believe this was a targeted hate crime, but no hate crime charges have been filed as of now. The victim survived the attack. More details as they come...

The judge who issued this election-rigging lawless ruling was a Biden judge, and yes, picked from the diversity pool of incompetent partisans.

Jason MiyaresBut there was a terrible ruling yesterday: Nevada's Supreme Court has ruled that mail-in ballots lacking a post-mark -- in other words, filled out and put in a mail box after the election -- must be counted if they're received three days after the election. Nevada is a crucial swing state. If Trump wins it, Kamala is almost eliminated. (Her path then requires her to win all three Great Lake states.) And the Nevada Supreme Court just ruled that the Democrats can look at the election day vote and see how many fake ballots they have to fill out to overturn the election.
@JasonMiyaresVA BREAKING: I am pleased to announce that the US Supreme Court granted Virginia's emergency stay to keep noncitizens off our voter rolls.

Harris to call Trump 'unstable' and 'obsessed with revenge' in Ellipse speech tonight The speech will not be solely focused on Jan. 6, but Harris will remind voters of that day.Perfect. Nailed it. The stupidest woman on MSNBC -- and that is saying something -- also makes me sad to look at. I think if you're stupid as a box of square marbles, you should at least be pretty. It's only fair.
Tim Walz has been trying to show how manly he is. First he showed that he didn't know how to load a shotgun during a Hunting Pageant, then he played Madden XBox football with AOC to show he really understands Young Men. During that completely authentic display of his love for Madden football, he said that AOC really knows how to "run a pick 6." For those of you who, like this puffy old queen, don't know what a pick 6 is: It's not a play you can run. An interception is a "pick," and "pick 6" is an interception returned for a touchdown. It's not something you "run," it's something that happens due to offensive error or good defensive anticipation. (I remember Eli Manning threw a lot of pick 6s -- he would dump off to a back in the flank when he was under pressure, and defenses knew he had this tic so they'd anticipate it and jump right in front of the intended receiver when he threw it.) Anyway, Walz wants you to know he's a Real Man's Masculine Man by talking about football in much the same way as my Great Aunt Bertha does.
Tim Walz dropped a wide-open pass on NFL Sunday. The Minnesota governor and Democratic vice presidential candidate livestreamed himself playing video games with Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in an appeal to younger male voters -- only to be mocked after misusing a common football term. Walz, a former defensive coordinator at Mankato West High School, tweeted afterward that the far-left Bronx and Queens rep "could run a mean pick 6" -- referring to an interception returned for a touchdown -- in the Madden video game series. The post was later deleted, but not before conservatives jumped on the malapropism. There are plays you could run with a better than usual chance of resulting in an interception. You could put in the "nickel" package of five defensive backs, or the "dime" package of... six defensive backs. (Pro footballers don't understand how money works.) You could blitz the quarterback in hopes of forcing an errant throw. But you can't "run a pick 6." It's like saying "We're running a fumble."
"This was a real deleted tweet from alleged football coach Tampon Tim. 'Can run a mean pick 6' Lmfao," commentator Greg Price wrote on X.
Hag slag Andrea Mitchell is finally quitting her daily show on January 3rd. I assume this means she'll still appear as a commentator or for "special events." From John Ralston's early vote blog:
Updated, 9:15 PM, 10/28/24 Good evening, blog mates. Monday's numbers gave another large boost to Republicans, increasing their statewide ballot lead over Democrats to 40,000, or 5.7 percent. This has never happened, not even close, in The Reid Machine Era. 700,000 ballots have now been posted, so at least half the vote is in, perhaps a little more. And some trends seem to be embedded after 10 of 14 days. Note: The Tuesday of the second week also has traditionally been a good day for Republicans in in-person early voting. Monday's followed the 2020 pattern , with a GOP+4,000 result (actually slightly better than 2020). Updated, 6:15 AM, 10/29/24 Good morning, blog mates. Small Clark mail update overnight put small dent in GOP advantage. Latest: GOP has 38,000 ballots more than Dems, 5.3 percent lead. 250,000 mail ballots in from Clark, but 457,000 received in 2020 after all said and done. Dems: Waiting for Mail. More later...
Tom Emmer says that Minnesota is on the bubble -- a new poll shows only a 2.6% lead for Governor Pick 6 and his drunk whore of a running mate. The GOP has taken the lead in in-person early voting in... New Jersey. But note this is just the in-person early vote, not the combined in-person early vote and the mail-in vote. Apparently Dems have a cushion in mail-in votes.
Insight Polls
@insight__polls New Jersey Early In Person Vote: GOP: 144,105 (38.0%) +4,581
Dem: 139,524(36.8%)
Ind: 95,447 (25.2%)
Elon MuskYeah this is a weird rumor which I'm not ready to buy into because it makes no sense: As John Ekdahl mentions, Kamala's current best swing state, per the polls, is NC, where she's (allegedly) nursing a 0.5% lead. Wisconsin is very close. Why pull out of these two states to defend Virginia? I mean, if Virginia needs defending, then certainly NC and WI do. Like I said, I don't know whether to believe this. Ed Morrissey discusses the rumors here. The story -- or cover story, I don't know -- is that Harris is reducing spending on "traditional" ads by almost $2 million in NC so that she can use that money to target women in particular via outlets women frequent. Like... ads in shopping centers or something. (No, really.) Kamala raised over a billion, outraising Trump 2-to-1, so I don't know why she has to pick and choose where she spends her money. Maybe she's planning an Obama-like purchase of a half hour on network tv? No idea.
@elonmusk The Republican lead in North Carolina almost doubled from yesterday! Rumor has it that the Kamala campaign is shifting resources to shore up Virginia, which means they're worried about losing Virginia. Let's make even the blue states red!

@LizMacDonaldFOX Looks like CBS 60 Minutes has another major new editing and now a censorship controversy on its hands. Tom Homan, former acting ICE director under Trump, says 60 Minutes made massive edits & censored its 2-hour intvw w Homan because it had a biased agenda to attack Trump about deportations & to protect Biden-Harris. Homan says 60 Minutes came into the intvw w a pre-determined angle about fascism, but that it edited out what he said about deporting terrorists caught crossing and violent criminal illegal aliens and gang members. That includes, he says, editing out his info on deporting criminal illegal aliens and gang members accused of murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping, sex and drug trafficking and more. 60 Minutes still has not released its transcript of its controversial interview with Kamala Harris, where it edited out her "word salads." It has released transcripts of its interview with Trump, former AG Bill Barr & Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Here's Homan with us tonight on the @EveningEdit
- "First, I sat for almost two hours during a very contentious interview." "I went in to talk about why we need a secure border. The damage they (Biden-Harris) have done to this country, why this is such a huge national security issue." "Of course, most of that didn't make it to the final cut." Liz: "And what didn't make it to the final cut? What did they cut out." Tom: "About the national security threat on the border. About how many, you know, suspected terrorists
have been arrested crossing the border. People on terrorist watch lists." (60 Minutes) "also edited out the amount of fentanyl coming across that killed a quarter million Americans. They (edited out) a 600% increase in sex trafficking. I talked about all of this."
"We didn't talk about, you know, the criminals and the gang members that have come across, Tren de Aragua, they didn't talk about everything that's meaningful to the American people." "We talked about it, but it didn't make the final cut." "It's almost a two-hour interview. We talked about all of that, Liz." He says he told them about illegal aliens "from 181 different countries" crossing, but he says 60 Minutes edited that out, too. "But they (60 Minutes) came in with a plan. They wanted to show that this massive deportation operation was going to be inhumane. It was going to separate families." "It's going to be, you know, akin to the Nazis. And that's why I spent so much time with them explaining how this would be a well-targeted enforcement plan to protect this country and remove national security threats and criminal alien threats." But all of that got edited out.

Bezos published an op-ed defending his choice to stop the practice of endorsing candidates.
He acknowledged that the public simply doesn't believe journalists any longer, and journalists have to acknowledge that reality. Reality, he says, always wins every argument he's in. But, he does not state the paper needs to reform itself, or hire editors to patrol for bias. And certainly he doesn't suggest the Post stop running propaganda ops for the Deep State. And most of all, he definitely does not suggest that the Post must apologize for its history of relentless and remorseless lying, about Russiagate (the lies about which got it a Pulitizer, which they continue bragging about, for some reason, about covid, about Hunter Biden's laptop, about Joe Biden's putative cognitive health. No -- he just says let's stop endorsing candidates, and then the public will believe us again. Because it's the endorsements, not the corporate culture of relentless lying and propaganda, that the public objects to.In the annual public surveys about trust and reputation, journalists and the media have regularly fallen near the very bottom, often just above Congress. But in this year's Gallup poll, we have managed to fall below Congress. Our profession is now the least trusted of all. Something we are doing is clearly not working. Let me give an analogy. Voting machines must meet two requirements. They must count the vote accurately, and people must believe they count the vote accurately. The second requirement is distinct from and just as important as the first. Likewise with newspapers. We must be accurate, and we must be believed to be accurate. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but we are failing on the second requirement. Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn't see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose. Reality is an undefeated champion. It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility. Presidential endorsements do nothing to tip the scales of an election. No undecided voters in Pennsylvania are going to say, "I'm going with Newspaper A's endorsement." None. What presidential endorsements actually do is create a perception of bias. A perception of non-independence.I can only say this so many times but what creates the perception of bias is, in fact, the bias.
Ending them is a principled decision, and it's the right one. ... Lack of credibility isn't unique to The Post. Our brethren newspapers have the same issue. And it's a problem not only for media, but also for the nation. Many people are turning to off-the-cuff podcasts, inaccurate social media posts and other unverified news sources, which can quickly spread misinformation and deepen divisions. The Washington Post and the New York Times win prizes, but increasingly we talk only to a certain elite. More and more, we talk to ourselves. (It wasn't always this way -- in the 1990s we achieved 80 percent household penetration in the D.C. metro area.) While I do not and will not push my personal interest, I will also not allow this paper to stay on autopilot and fade into irrelevance -- overtaken by unresearched podcasts and social media barbs -- not without a fight. It's too important. The stakes are too high. Now more than ever the world needs a credible, trusted, independent voice, and where better for that voice to originate than the capital city of the most important country in the world? To win this fight, we will have to exercise new muscles. Some changes will be a return to the past, and some will be new inventions. Criticism will be part and parcel of anything new, of course. This is the way of the world. None of this will be easy, but it will be worth it. I am so grateful to be part of this endeavor. Many of the finest journalists you'll find anywhere work at The Washington Post, and they work painstakingly every day to get to the truth. They deserve to be believed.Oh, f*** yourself. The amateur webzine Slate used to reveal its editors' and writers' votes every four years. Their belief-- that informing the public of our biases and our preferences helps the reader judge our reportage, while hiding those biases and preferences makes it harder for the reader to judge our reportage. They were right. Bezos is wrong. He's spraying down a fetid whorehouse with Industrial Strength Febreeze and calling it good. Meanwhile, the NYT says "The public doesn't trust us because they know we're vicious partisans? HOLD MY BEER." They have sent DMs to Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson informing them that they are running a story on leftwing propaganda organization Media Matters' claims about them spreading "election misinformation." They're now accepting Media Matters as a legitimate disinterested analyst.

EDIT: Kamala Harris, Defender of Illegal Aliens who Brutally Rape Women
She's a tough-on-crime prosecutor:
Vice President Kamala Harris has portrayed herself as a champion of women throughout her career, but that image is now in jeopardy with the election in just seven days. Details of a horrific rape case plea deal brokered by the assistant district attorney while she was district attorney exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com calls into question her commitment to protecting women. In 2008, Lillian Gradillas was sitting in a party bus late at night after she was not allowed into a nightclub because she lacked the proper identification to enter with the rest of her family and friends. The driver, Gustavo Rosales, attacked Gradillas multiple times on the bus before forcibly raping her, despite her attempt to fight off his advances, according to court testimony. At the time, Rosales was 'illegally in the United States, convicted of assaulting his spouse, evading his child support obligations and unqualified to operate a bus' according to the plaintiff complaint filed in a civil suit against the company. Gradillas testified in the sentencing hearing, revealing the details of that night. 'I live with the constant reminder of that horrible night,' she said, describing it as her 'longest nightmare.' She revealed she lost her job, suffered lower grades in school, and was heavily medicated while she struggled to hold her family together. Rosales struck a plea deal with attorneys reporting to Kamala Harris and pleaded guilty to the crime. As a result, Rosales was sentenced to just three years in prison. The details of the brazen and frightening rape, including her personal testimony were not enough to earn Rosales a tougher sentence.
San Francisco's new district attorney, Kamala Harris, right, with her mother Dr. Shyamala Gopalan holding a copy of The Bill of Rights, receives the oath of office from California Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald M. George Rosales was released early for good behavior in 2010, just one year after his conviction after earning over a year of time served since the initial 2008 arrest. Sources told DailyMail.com that Rosales should have been sentenced to at least seven years in prison even in a plea deal, and could have easily been sent away to prison longer if he did have a prior domestic violence offense mentioned in the civil complaint. 'It's stunningly remarkable,' a lawyer familiar with the case said to DailyMail.com. 'It's so low.' California State Representative Bilal Essayli told DailyMail.com that the sentence was 'extremely light.' 'This guy got the lowest possible sentence he could have for committing a rape and I don't how you justify that with his previous criminal conviction as well as his being in the country unlawfully,' he said. The case and plea deal was filed and agreed to by assistant district attorney Adrian Ivancevich. Typically, an assistant district attorney would be given assigned guidelines for plea deals, Essayli said, but anything out of normal would require Harris to personally approve it. 'Not matter what, she's responsible for every disposition that comes out of that office, because she's a leader of that office,' he said. It is unclear where Rosales is today, as he was last reported in 2010 living in Sacramento according to documents. DailyMail.com reached out to the Harris campaign for comment but didn't hear back. Years later, the case brought to a civil court where Gradillas was awarded $2 million in 2012 for the incident after holding the business owner and the company insurance company liable, according to Courthouse News.

Jen Rubin will praise USAToday columnists for resigning, while refusing to resign herself.
So many Nazis and Fascists in the media now!Gannett-owned USA Today and the chain's more than 200 other newspapers won't endorse a candidate for president -- joining the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times in choosing to stay silent on next week's election. "None of the USA Today Network publications are endorsing in presidential or national races," a spokesperson for USA Today, Lark-Marie Antón, told the Hill. Antón said that while Gannett-owned publications won't endorse candidates in national races, they do have "discretion" to endorse at a state or local level. "Many have decided not to endorse individual candidates, but rather, endorse key local and state issues on the ballot that impact the community," Antón told the Hill. "Why are we doing this? Because we believe America's future is decided locally -- one race at a time," Antón said. "And with more than 200 publications across the nation, our public service is to provide readers with the facts that matter and the trusted information they need to make informed decisions."Even the gonzo campus leftist media is strongly signalling that Kamala just isn't up for the job.

The House Judiciary Committee is examining a new whistleblower report that the FBI targeted Donald Trump soon after he announced his presidential campaign in June 2015, an off-the-books operation ordered by FBI Director James Comey that predated the Crossfire Hurricane operation. An FBI agent involved in the probe revealed the off-the-books criminal investigation on Tuesday in a protected disclosure sent to the committee. The whistleblower disclosure said that two female FBI undercover agents successfully infiltrated Mr. Trump's 2016 campaign at high levels and were directed to act as "honey pots" while traveling with Mr. Trump and his campaign staff on the trail.See the whole article for more. It's short, and I can't excerpt more. It's worth the full read, promise. Is this legit? Is the whistleblower for real? I don't know. It sure does comport with what we know about the viperine "former" communist James Comey.

James Clapper lied both in a public statement and before Congress that he was not a source for the leak that the Steele Dossier had been paperclipped to the president's intelligence briefing.
He has lied to Congress before -- with impunity. He seems to have lied to Congress again. Will Trump permit him to escape punishment? Anyway: I've known about this since an hour after it happened, seven years ago. I never told anyone about it because, unlike the Gossipy Gerties at CNN, I know how to protect a source. Mollie Hemingway:Back on the roof in January of 2017, Evan Perez was shown on television reading and reporting on Clapper's statement from a remote location. Tapper and his colleagues interpreted the statement as confirmation of their story and a repudiation of Trump's dismissal of the Russia collusion story as false. While Perez's package was airing, and at the point he read Clapper saying that he didn't think the leak came from the intelligence community, Sciutto said that he was pretty sure Clapper knew the leak came from the intelligence community "because ...," he said, trailing off as he rolled his hands suggestively and somewhat like a football referee very slowly calling a false start. He said it for all to hear, though I'm not sure anyone else other than Jake Tapper, who he was sitting to the right of, and I heard and understood. Tapper squeezed Sciutto's left wrist the way my mom used to squeeze my wrist at church when I was being too loud. I interpreted this message roughly as "stop talking you idiot."Now I wasn't there, but it sure seems like Jim Sciutto, "Real Journalist," has loose lips. And you know what loose lips do, don't you? That's right -- they take dick like a champ.
In the following part, Mollie relays how Tapper attempted to mollify her and please her. She told me she felt a odd charge in the air -- like Tapper knew that a major breach had just been committed, and wanted to keep her on CNN's side and get her to keep the secret for them. I remember telling her: That's not evidence in the traditional sense, but I 100% believe in people's ability to pick on other people's anxiousness and their hidden motives. You can't say this is proof like someone admitting it verbally, but in the real world, you can tell when someone is behaving oddly and you can make very strong educated guesses as to what is prompting that odd behavior:
Sciutto was a former Obama administration political appointee in the State Department. It wasn't clear if he was saying that Clapper had leaked to him or one of his three co-authors, a Clapper aide had leaked to CNN, or merely that Clapper knew Comey or one of his aides was leaking to CNN. It may be hard to remember, but at this point in the Russia collusion information operation, people knew almost nothing. Few if any people realized the FBI was corrupt. People didn't even realize Comey's central role running the scam. As far as they knew, and would be told incessantly by Tapper, the intelligence alleging Russia collusion came from a British super spy and was so credible that it was being taken extremely seriously by trustworthy intelligence agencies. Incoming National Security Advisor Mike Flynn had not yet been ousted in an FBI setup that included criminal leaks. Attorney General Jeff Sessions hadn't recused himself from his job after he was leaked against. We didn't know that four affiliates of the Trump campaign had been spied on. We didn't know that the FBI had lied to the FISA Court to get wiretaps on one of them. We didn't know about all of the unmasking and leaking against incoming Trump administration officials. We really knew nothing about how corrupt and political the deep state was. And we didn't yet understand that major media existed almost exclusively as regime mouthpieces, uncritically serving as leak receptacles for the information operations they run against the American people.
After we were done that day, Tapper came up to me on the roof -- something he rarely did when I saw him at CNN -- and told me that he really wanted to get me on his Sunday show. I perceived this as an attempt to keep me quiet about what I had witnessed. It failed, and I began writing immediately about how the dossier story was an information operation being fueled by top officials in the intelligence community. I published "Top-Level Intel Officers' War Against Donald Trump Is Bad For The Country," a few days later. I was able to write that piece, as well as spend the next few years confidently fighting the Russia collusion hoax under unbelievable resistance, because of Jim Sciutto and Jake Tapper's actions that day. I already doubted the Russia collusion hoax because I knew actual Trump voters, but that day I realized that even the authors of the signature Russia collusion article knew that it was an intelligence community leak operation and were uncritically regurgitating it. If I knew enough to do what I did based on that tiny interaction between Jim Sciutto and Jake Tapper, Jake Tapper sure as hell knew enough to not take part in the regime's information operation he promulgated every day for the next few years.
And let's not lose the real lede: James Clapper, who has repeatedly perjured himself before Congress, perjured himself still more in denying that he was the source of the leaks about the Deep State op called RussiaGate.
The rest of the article is about Jake Tapper's attempt to rewrite history and claim, as he did to JD Vance, that he never pushed the Russiagate Hoax, that he was merely "reporting on an FBI investigation." No, Jake, you and your corrupt sources schemed to make the unpublishable Steele Dossier publishable, and you and Comey and Clapper all worked together to create a groundswell for that very investigation. I'll be writing about that in my next Tapper Files. Once again, this is something I've already written on this blog, and only contains one new bit of information. But the general public really needs to know how the media-Deep-State-op sausage is made, not just you very well-informed AoSers.
