MSNBC Shrieks at Trump's Promise to End Birthright Citizenship

I'm glad Trump is revisiting this issue, which he brought up but abandoned in his first term.

In President-elect Donald Trump's recent interview with NBC News' Kristen Welker, host of "Meet the Press," he once again promised to end birthright citizenship when he takes office in January. "You know we're the only country that has it," Trump falsely claimed.

The US is the only developed Western nation that has it. No country in Europe has it. Japan doesn't have it. Most countries in the Americas have it, but the Western Hemisphere is the exception.

...

As the Trump campaign laid out over the summer, the proposed executive order he would sign would limit the scope of automatic citizenship to children born here and require at least one parent to prove they are either a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident. In the absence of such evidence, federal agencies would be ordered to deny the newborn from receiving a Social Security number and block the parents from receiving any federal benefits like the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, better known as WIC. That baby would also be denied a U.S. passport and any other documentary proof of citizenship.

Trump first pushed a similar change back in 2018, but it got put far on the backburner by more cautious staffers. This time around, though, his incoming deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller, and other hard-liners are preparing to move forward with as many restrictions on immigration as possible. They subscribe to a worldview that has long rejected the notion that America's white Christian heritage can stand while also freely accepting the children of nonwhite migrants or formerly enslaved Black people as equal citizens under the Constitution.

LOL. Yes, that's the reason. You nailed it.

It has nothing to do with American children being killed by illegal aliens.

Seven-year-old Ivory Smith was killed by Venezuelan migrant Joel Enrique Gonzalez Chacin in a late-night drunk driving accident in north Houston just two and a half months after ICE released a hold against him, court documents revealed.

Fox 26 Houston reported that court records revealed that Chacin had previously been placed on another ICE hold earlier this year after being arrested for assaulting a family member in June.

The felony assault charge against him ended up being dropped to a misdemeanor and, after pleading guilty, Chacin was sentenced to 113 days in jail, which he had already served, and was released that same day. The ICE detainer against him was also lifted that same day for an unknown reason.

Fox News Digital reached out to ICE to find out why the detainer against Chacin was lifted and has not yet heard back.

Of course not. Why should the Regime answer to the peasantry?

Authorities confirmed to Fox News Digital that the 41-year-old migrant was intoxicated when he T-boned Christina Smith and her daughter Ivory at 2:45 a.m. Police said that Chacin took photographs of the scene of the crash "instead of helping" and then drove off. The two victims were only a few minutes from home.

Smith was severely injured in the wreck but has since been released from the hospital. Chacin was arrested for intoxicated manslaughter and has been put on a new ICE detainer.

Ivory was in second grade. According to a statement released by the family, the mother continues to "endure immense physical and emotional pain" from the accident.

"No parent should have to suffer the unbearable loss of a child, especially under circumstances that could and should have been prevented," said the family, adding, the incident is a "stark reminder that we need stronger accountability and justice to prevent further suffering for families like ours."

"Even more troubling is the fact that this individual was released after being detained earlier this year, only to find themselves back in custody after causing irreparable harm," the family went on. "Why do we have holds in place if they fail to keep dangerous individuals off our streets? ... How can a system allow such leniency, where a person with such a record is given a chance to walk free and re-offend?"

Ivory is -- was -- a seven-year-old black girl.

But it's all about protecting the White Christian majority from non-white immigrants. MSNBC said so.

The UK Bans Puberty Blockers for Minors Indefinitely, Citing Unacceptable Risks

From David Strom at Hot Air, the repressive, fascist UK is actually less insane on this issue than the US.

The UK had already banned puberty blockers on a temporary basis for new users -- they still allowed it for those already ruined by puberty blockers.

Now they make that ban permanent, or, at least, "indefinite."

Ban on puberty blockers to be made indefinite on experts' advice

...

Existing emergency measures banning the sale and supply of puberty-suppressing hormones will be made indefinite, following official advice from medical experts.

The Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) has provided independent expert advice that there is currently an unacceptable safety risk in the continued prescription of puberty blockers to children. It recommends indefinite restrictions while work is done to ensure the safety of children and young people.

The NHS stopped the routine prescription of puberty blocker treatments to under 18s in March 2024, following the Cass Review into gender identity services.

Puberty blockers for the treatment of gender incongruence and/or gender dysphoria in under 18s were banned temporarily in May 2024 after the Cass Review found there was insufficient evidence to show they were safe. Legislation will be updated today to make the order indefinite and will be reviewed in 2027.

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said:

Children's healthcare must always be evidence-led. The independent expert Commission on Human Medicines found that the current prescribing and care pathway for gender dysphoria and incongruence presents an unacceptable safety risk for children and young people.

Dr Cass' review also raised safety concerns around the lack of evidence for these medical treatments . We need to act with caution and care when it comes to this vulnerable group of young people, and follow the expert advice.

We are working with NHS England to open new gender identity services, so people can access holistic health and wellbeing support they need. We are setting up a clinical trial into the use of puberty blockers next year, to establish a clear evidence base for the use of this medicine.

So they're still testing these terrible drugs on children, but at least they're not allowing any old doctor to prescribe them willy-nilly.

The UK looks at America and laughs.

The trans cult is crumbling in Europe -- now America needs to catch up

Tavistock whistleblowers and the Cass Review reshaped care for transgender children in the UK. In the States, the veil is slowly lifting

Whoever would have thought that chopping off the healthy breast tissue of 14-year-old girls could mean you end up in court?

Well, anyone, actually, who has been paying any attention to the gender madness of the last decade. In the US, where the practice of medicine is particularly connected to the practice of law, I predict a deluge of court cases over what has been done to children in the name of "gender affirming care".

Last week, a 20-year-old, Clementine Breen, filed a medical negligence claim against a Los Angeles-based doctor, Johanna Olsen-Kennedy, claiming she was rushed into irreversible treatment when she was 12. Olsen-Kennedy is the medical director of the Centre for Transyouth Heath and Development at the Children's Hospital in LA. Claim documents say that Breen saw a school counsellor when she was 12, and was unsure whether she was gay or bisexual or trans. She had experienced sexual abuse at six. It is claimed that Olson-Kennedy did not perform any mental health evaluation herself of Breen, but said she met the criteria for the commencement of puberty blockers.

Within a year she was put on testosterone and at 14 underwent a double mastectomy. No one, it appears, was monitoring her mental health and she began to feel worse and started cutting herself. Olson-Kennedy has also refused to publish the findings of a $10 million taxpayer-funded study showing that puberty blockers did not improve the mental health of children.

Breen now says she may be infertile, and says that she was never evaluated properly. Her parents tried to intervene, but Olson-Kennedy told them that this young girl may be suicidal, even though she had never expressed these thoughts.

This is, after all, the script, isn't it? That without mutilating the bodies of teenagers, these kids will all kill themselves. That there is no evidence for this doesn't appear to matter. Until it gets to court and then it does.

This is where we and many other European countries are far ahead of America. When evidence of the harmful effects of puberty blockers began to come in via longitudinal studies, the NHS stopped routinely prescribing them to under 18s. Finland, Sweden, Norway and Holland have also stopped prescribing blockers and cross-sex hormones to minors.

We have the whistleblowers at the Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service (Gids) and the four years of research headed up by Dr Hilary Cass to thank for bringing puberty blockers to a halt in the UK. Though I note that Cass is not on the BBC Women of the Year list, but someone called Brigitte Baptiste, a transgender scientist who says that trees can change sex -- I am not making this up -- is.

Update to Trump at the NYSE: "USA" chants broke out.

Time's Person of the Year Is Donald Trump... Obviously

Obviously he was the only possibility, but Time is an amateurish leftwing propaganda blog and often refuse to give Republicans the designation.

I'm very annoyed at having to pretend that Time has any remaining relevance or that this stupid "award," created explicitly to provide easy content during the holidays, matters at all, but in this case, it does matter that Trump left them no other choice.

The leftwing rag makes it clear that the award, which they once gave to Hitler, is not intended to give legitimacy to Trump.

We don't need your legitimacy, and you have no legitimacy to confer any longer.

Trump's political rebirth is unparalleled in American history. His first term ended in disgrace, with his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results culminating in the attack on the U.S. Capitol. He was shunned by most party officials when he announced his candidacy in late 2022 amid multiple criminal investigations. Little more than a year later, Trump cleared the Republican field, clinching one of the fastest contested presidential primaries in history. He spent six weeks during the general election in a New York City courtroom, the first former President to be convicted of a crime--a fact that did little to dampen his support. An assassin's bullet missed his skull by less than an inch at a rally in Butler, Pa., in July. Over the next four months, he beat not one but two Democratic opponents, swept all seven swing states, and became the first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years. He has realigned American politics, remaking the GOP and leaving Democrats reckoning with what went awry.

Trump has a ready explanation for his improbable resurrection. He even has a name for its climactic final act. "I called it 72 Days of Fury," he says as the interview gets under way. "We hit the nerve of the country. The country was angry." It wasn't just the MAGA faithful. Trump harnessed deep national discontent about the economy, immigration, and cultural issues. His grievances resonated with suburban moms and retirees, Latino and Black men, young voters and tech edgelords. While Democrats estimated that most of the country wanted a President who would uphold the norms of liberal democracy, Trump saw a nation ready to smash them, tapping into a growing sense that the system was rigged.

If America was craving change, it is about to see how much Trump can deliver. He ran on a strongman vision, proposing to deport migrants by the millions, dismantle parts of the federal government, seek revenge against his political adversaries, and dismantle institutions that millions of people see as censorious and corrupt.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

Deficit spending is an absolutely awful thing, and necessary only in dire circumstances. I think most people will agree that our deficit spending during World War II was a good idea. And temporary deficits for discrete and limited reasons may be good political policy.

But over the past 30 years we have lost our f*cking minds and spent at rates that are unfathomable. According to Murray Rothbard, during the Great Depression, total tax burden almost doubled. What would be required today to approach some sort of parity with that time? 95% marginal tax rates? $5/gallon gas tax? 50% capital gains tax? And even with that the math simply does not add up.

Without a significant decrease in government spending lasting for decades, we are in a money-printing spiral that will end very, very badly.

The arguments made against any sort of government responsibility with its check book are legion. "It will hurt the poor." "It will destroy the middle class." "It will depress the economy and we will have another depression." The deficit is too large and the debt can't be paid!" "Besides, governments can run deficits indefinitely!"

But they can't. Just ask the silent and ignored people in the flyover states how they are doing with stagnant wage growth and skyrocketing inflation. Or first-time home buyers who can't afford more than a tiny home far from work because government borrowing crowded out private lending.

Inflation is caused by government. There is no other economic player with the power to cause it, and anyone who suggests otherwise is a liar or a fool...or both. It is also an incredibly destructive thing, and entire societies can be brought to their knees by its depredations.

But with sufficient will, inflation can be ended. And how is that done?

DOGE-Style Efficiency Cuts Deliver Argentina's First Budget Surplus in 123 Years.

In just one year, President Javier Milei has transformed Argentina’s economic landscape, slashing the national budget deficit to zero for the first time in 123 years. This is a historic milestone in his presidency, which began on December 10, 2023.

Milei took over an economy crippled by rampant inflation, where supermarkets had to adjust prices daily. However, with his aggressive cutbacks to the size of the state, often symbolized by his wielding a chainsaw, Milei has steered the country back toward fiscal stability.

Argentinian inflation plummeted from a staggering 200 percent in 2023 to a mere 2.7 percent by October 2024. This dramatic reduction was celebrated by Milei in a recent broadcast, in which he stated, “The deficit was the root of all our evils—without it, there’s no debt, no emission, no inflation. Today, we have a sustained fiscal surplus, free of default, for the first time in 123 years.”

That is in one year.

Think what Donald Trump can do in four years, and then realize that no economic policy, no government program, no deficit spending can revive an economy faster than simply allowing the people to make their own economic decisions. That's what deficit reduction allows, and that is the glory of the free market.

Donald Trump and his capable advisors have the opportunity to take Javier Milei's grand experiment with Argentina and extrapolate it to the biggest economy on earth. We saw what Donald Trump's mostly rational economic and government policies were able to achieve during his first term. Simply decreasing regulation and government interference in the economy resulted in a truly impressive economic expansion. If that returns, and add to it a marked decrease in government spending, our economy will return to its former glory, with the opportunity for long-term economic growth that will go a long way toward repairing the damage done by the Biden junta's rabid spending and top down control of the economy.

The Morning Report — 12/12/24

HapHoneck.jpg

Good morning kids. I note with interest a story about a power outage on the NYC subway system leaving hundreds of commuters on a number of trains stuck in the tunnels for several hours. Having experienced this myself about 20 years ago or so, aside from the inconvenience to one's schedule, it's not pleasant. For me, the aftereffects were latent, yet mercifully only a handful of moments/episodes of claustrophobia that have not reoccured. Considering I have to have MRIs every two months likely for the rest of my life, that's a relief. But I digress. Aside from being able to relate to this as an ex-New Yorker, considering the acquittal of Daniel Penny, you have to think that more than a few of those hapless straphangers had that in the back of their minds and breathing a sigh of relief.

In other news, the now erstwhile American (in name only) Reichsminister of (Deep) State Security, Christopher Wray has resigned in advance of being shitcanned (or you can spell it Chutkan'd) by enemy of the People Donald Trump after his inauguration. Being at or near the tip of the spear in Trump's persecution as well as the persecution of ordinary Americans for opposing the destructive policies of the Obama/Biden/Leftist junta, his and his cohorts' serial abuse of power and the weaponization of the criminal justice system deserves the severest of punishments so as to set an example and merely if justice in is truest sense is to be served.

Christopher Wray has since 2017 been one of the principal executors of the destruction of our justice system and the establishment of the present two-tier system that energetically prosecutes patriots for the smallest of offenses, or even for no offenses at all, while turning a blind eye to genuine evidence of real crimes because leftists and members of the political and media elites committed them. If you don’t believe me on this, ask Hunter Biden.

Can Donald Trump undo what Christopher Wray and his predecessors have done? It will be extraordinarily difficult. Trump has appointed Kash Patel to succeed Wray, and that’s a decisive step in the right direction. Back in August, Patel was asked what he would do if he did become the director of the FBI, and his answer was pure gold.

“One of my biggest personal recommendations,” Patel said, “is you shut down the FBI headquarters building and open it up the next day as the Museum of the Deep State, and you send those 7000 agents in the headquarters building down range to chase down rapists, to chase down murderers, to chase down drug traffickers and let the cops be cops on the streets across America. You keep a small contingent in Washington, D.C. That’s step one.”

'It may turn out that Trump and Patel will conclude that the FBI is beyond repair. At that point, they should simply shut it down. The Bureau of Investigation was founded in 1908 and became the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1935. That means that the U.S. got along without it for 132 years, and can very well do so again. A new agency, built from the ground up to be determinedly nonpartisan (with, for the sake of prudence, none, absolutely none, of the present agents rehired), might be in order.

Can Trump really shut down the FBI and build it back better? The real question is this: can he afford not to?

As horrifying as the reality is of a corrupt, feral law enforcement and national security establishment being used as the political enforcement arm to persecute the American citizenry who oppose the dismantling and fundamental transformation of the Republic into yet another failed, tyranny, more horrifying still is the fact that a very large segment of the population is blind to this and worse is cheering it on. In a not unrelated story, look who else is being cheered on:

GoFundMe and e-commerce site Etsy have been shutting down fundraising and merchandise efforts to support accused healthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione, but GiveSendGo appears to be allowing them.

I seem to recall that these sites either voluntarily or were otherwise pressured into shutting down fundraising drives for pro-life and J-6 political prisoners, perhaps even Daniel Penny when he was initially imprisoned.

And then we have politicians and others being de-banked left right and center. That is by the Left against the Right. Hello, Lefties, I got your fascism right here! The problem is while that is probably the most uttered word since the emergence of Donald Trump, those who hurl it as an insult against him and us have no idea what it really means.

During the Biden junta, the FBI and the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) brazenly pushed the boundaries of privacy and the Constitution to infringe upon the rights of Americans.  Much of this activity appears to have been politically motivated, with a particular focus on Trump-supporting conservatives.

An ongoing investigation by the House Judiciary Committee into financial surveillance in the U.S. reveals that these agencies have “abused [their] access to Americans’ sensitive financial information.”  Alarmingly, the investigation also exposes the government’s surveillance efforts as both “warrantless” and “widespread.”

According to a Dec. 6 interim report from the House Judiciary Committee, the FBI has been using federal laws like the Bank Secrecy Act, “often without legal process,” to conduct these invasive operations.  The committee reviewed over 48,000 “nonpublic documents,” revealing that the FBI has been scouring private financial data to potentially target, identify, and label certain Americans as threats to national security. . .

. . . The surveillance seems to have begun following the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill protests, according to a June 12 letter from representatives Jim Jordan and Thomas Massie to JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon.  It then metastasized to much more. . .

. . . Jordan stated that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security use the portal to work with “650 of the largest companies in the world” to target Americans.  He explained,

Any American who opposes firearm legislation, the easing of immigration restrictions, and COVID mandates is someone banks should be watching because again, they might be an extremist. ...

It actually gets worse. The federal government and banks also use what they call merchant category codes to flag Americans who shop at places like Bass Pro shops and Cabela’s. ...

This is scary where things are headed.  We’ve seen the censorship, now we see what’s happening with big banks and big government relative to your financial data. All this being done with no process, no warrant, no notification to the customer that the banks are actually supposed to serve.

Big government is not supposed to use big tech to censor Americans and big government shouldn’t be working with big banks to target Americans for behavior that is legal and constitutional.

Hello social credit system!. What DEI cannot exclude or persecute into silence, the cronies in banking and elsewhere in the soon to be no longer "private" sector will. Or else!

Say the wrong thing - - if your children or neighbors don't snitch on you, your smart phone or even your smart coffee maker will! Or vote the wrong way, or merely click on this website - - that is if this website is allowed to exist or is not removed by Ace's hosting company lest they be sent to the gulag for counterrevolutionary behavior in promoting disinformation and hate speech.

We can rail all we want, and rightly so at the corruption of institutions that we are supposed to put our faith and trust in, but where did the corruption begin? Over the past 60 or more years, it began in the schools that pumped more than anti-Americanism and anti-Judeo-Christianity but an eltitism that promoted a will to power in the name of "Progress."

Until we can burn that evil out of the heart of our educational system, our fate is the gulag, the mass grave or the gas chamber at the hands of the Christopher Wrays of this world and their thugs with and without badges, like Antifa and BLM.

Remember, Daniel Penny was supposed to be found guilty as yet another form of social control. Self defense, especially by a white man against a raging psychopathic black man is supposed to be viewed as a hate crime. His acquittal along with the seeming collapse of the lawfare against Trump, and more crucially his landslide victory, puts a huge torpedo in who gets to control the narrative of what and who is good evil. That victory was arguably more a rejection of Democrat Leftism than mere vicissitudes of political winds temporarily changing.

This cancer we face is because of the eradication of the American identity and culture lo these many decades. Speeding up that process is the eradicated border and immigration controls.

The immigration surge of the past few years has been the largest in U.S. history, surpassing the great immigration boom of the late 1800s and early 1900s, according to a New York Times analysis of government data.

Annual net migration — the number of people coming to the country minus the number leaving — averaged 2.4 million people from 2021 to 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people.

That’s a faster pace of arrivals than during any other period on record, including the peak years of Ellis Island traffic, when millions of Europeans came to the United States. Even after taking into account today’s larger U.S. population, the recent surge is the most rapid since at least 1850

This is Biden’s real legacy. The Left used a senile puppet to fundamentally change national demographics and it remains debatable whether we are ever going back. I’d like to be optimistic on that score. I know many people are. Given another 4 years, things would have looked even grimmer.

At this rate, the population won't need to be controlled, or liquidated per the ravings of Bill Ayers, because it will have been completely replaced by foreigners and native born pod-people so removed from what America and a civil society is supposed to be , that we will finally have been conquered.

It would be quite ironic and appropriate indeed if Kash Patel can use the malign technology described above to go after the funders of BLM, Antifa, Code-Pink, and every other REAL threat to our precious democracy (so-called) and shut them down at the source. Then watch Dracula scream in agony as a stake is pounded into its black heart.

Have a good day. And if you can kindly hit the tip jar below, it would be most appreciated, and thanks to all of you for all your love and support. Appreciated beyond words.

NYT: The Biden "Immigration Boom" Is the Biggest In This Country's Almost 250-Year History; 60% of Recent "Newcomers" Entered Illegally

Thanks Democrats!

It's not just the story here that's relevant -- it's who's reporting it.

The NYT is basically providing what Obama used to call a "permission structure" for Democrats to abandon their quasi-religious open borders fanaticism and moderate on the issue.

And they're only doing that because the issue is destroying the Democrat Cult. This is an intervention, telling the cultists to back off before the entire cult collapses.

The immigration surge of the past few years has been the largest in U.S. history, surpassing the great immigration boom of the late 1800s and early 1900s, according to a New York Times analysis of government data.

Annual net migration -- the number of people coming to the country minus the number leaving -- averaged 2.4 million people from 2021 to 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people.

That's a faster pace of arrivals than during any other period on record, including the peak years of Ellis Island traffic, when millions of Europeans came to the United States. Even after taking into account today's larger U.S. population, the recent surge is the most rapid since at least 1850:

nytimmigrationboom.jpg

The numbers in the Times analysis include both legal and illegal immigration. About 60 percent of immigrants who have entered the country since 2021 have done so without legal authorization, according to a Goldman Sachs report based on government data.

The combined increases of legal and illegal immigration have caused the share of the U.S. population born in another country to reach a new high, 15.2 percent in 2023, up from 13.6 percent in 2020. The previous high was 14.8 percent, in 1890.

Doing the jobs Americans just won't do.

The Biden-Harris administration's Department of Homeland Security freed an illegal alien who was wanted of child rape in his home country into the United States.

The illegal alien, a 25-year-old Ecuadorean national named Adrian Patricio Huerta-Nivelo, crossed the border into the United States on June 4th, 2021 before being apprehended by Border Patrol.

Huerta-Nivelo was given a notice to appear in front of an immigration judge before being released into the interior of the United States. Just days after his release, however, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) discovered that the illegal alien was wanted in Ecuador in connection to the rape of a child.

He was only later deported.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan says get ready for a "huge operation" to deport criminals.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that ridding the United States of violent criminal organizations like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 is going to be a "major priority" of the incoming Trump administration.

"So this is going to be a huge operation," Homan said in a Fox News interview. "I'm looking forward to getting it started. I haven't started the operation yet, but I have already worked with the Texas governor on the plans and the Texas border czar."

Homan also argued that sanctuary cities should allow immigration officials to enter jails and conduct removals of violent criminals already in captivity, rather than waiting until the criminal is released back onto the streets.

"So let us in the jail," he said. "It's safer for everybody and it's the right thing to do."

In addition to meeting with Texas officials, Homan said that he has discussed plans with New York Mayor Eric Adams as well as hundreds of sheriffs across the country.

"The National Sheriffs Association is ready to go to work with us. So, January 20, game on," he concluded.

Homan says that if the black Buster Pointdexter mayor of Chicago tries to block deportations, he'll arrest and prosecute him.

West Point Administrator Colludes With Leftwing Attack Dog to Smear Pete Hegseth With Completely-False Lie

A leftwing hack from Pro Publica put together a smear on Pete Hegseth claiming that he was never applied to get into West Point, from which he graduated.

Note that that already doesn't even make sense -- you can't graduate from a school you were never applied to get into.

But the leftwing reputation-assassins don't need their smears to make sense. Their Soyjack readership just wants to read lies about their enemies.

Hegseth found out Pro Publica was about to run this entirely-fabricated smear and published his acceptance letter welcoming him to West Point.

The leftwing reputation-assassin now crows, But I didn't actually publish the entirely-fictional smear piece, now that you've pre-emptively disproven it. Voila! This is just Great Journalism in Action! You're welcome!

No seriously:

Prices Jump 2.7% In November as Country Enjoys Fourth Straight Year of Transitory Inflation

Best economy in history, Jack.

The Consumer Price Index, which measures the change in prices of a typical basket of goods and services, increased 0.3% from October to November, marking the second consecutive month of year-over-year growth in inflation.

Housing costs, including rent and mortgages, were a major driver of last month's CPI increase, contributing 40% of the overall rise, while food prices saw monthly increases, including an 8% jump in egg prices.

Economists anticipate another Federal Reserve interest rate cut at its December 18th meeting, though persistent inflation may complicate future decisions on rate reductions.

Inflation remained a challenge for consumers in November, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising 2.7% compared to the same month last year. Although inflation has slowed from its 2022 peak of 9.1%, prices for necessities like housing and food continue to climb, leaving families grappling with higher costs.

Housing costs, which accounted for nearly 40% of the CPI increase, remain a significant burden. The Bureau of Labor Statistics highlighted that shelter prices, including rent and mortgage rates, have remained elevated since the pandemic, contributing to persistently high costs. Food prices also rose in November, with grocery costs increasing by 0.5% on a monthly basis. Eggs, a key indicator in the food category, surged by 8% during the same period.

Economist Robert Frick of Navy Federal Credit Union noted that while the pace of inflation has eased, the ongoing rise in prices is difficult for many. "Shelter costs continue to be the number one source for higher prices, and that the rate of increase has slowed is no comfort," he told CBS News. "Many food prices rose... adding to the harsh burden of high costs."

I wasn't kidding when I told you that this was the best economy in the world, Fat.

President Biden
@POTUS

I believe the only way for a president to lead America is to lead all of America.

And I believe the economy I am leaving America is the best in the world and stronger than ever for all Americans.

Biden gave a shhhhpeesch yesterday in which he claimed that he's turning over the best economy in history to Trump.

President Joe Biden said Donald Trump will inherit the "strongest economy in modern history," and warned the president-elect not to return to "trickle-down economics" in a legacy-focused speech Tuesday.

But as Biden took credit for the nation's economic recovery out of the COVID-19 pandemic, he did compliment Trump for one decision: putting his signature on COVID stimulus checks sent to Americans.

"Within my first two months in office, I signed the American Rescue Plan, the most significant economic recovery package in our history. I also learned something from Donald Trump. He signed checks for people," Biden said in a speech at the Brookings Institution, a center-left think tank. "And I didn't-- stupid," he said to laughter, adding: "But all kidding aside."

Yeah that was the one mistake you made.

Non-Breaking News: CNN's Ratings Are Absolute Dogshit and Not Even the Smoldering Dark Sexual Charisma of Jake Tapper Can Save Them

Via DougP. of Twitchy, there's completely-expected news that CNN's ratings are exactly where you'd think they'd be.

CNN finished No. 17 among cable stations during primetime last week amid a news cycle that included the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the ensuing manhunt for his killer, a slew of news related to President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet picks, the fallout from President Biden announcing he would pardon his son, Hunter, and a rebel alliance's challenging Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

CNN's primetime lineup of "Anderson Cooper 360," "The Source with Kaitlan Collins" and "CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip" averaged only 367,000 total viewers from 8-11 p.m. during the week of December 2. By comparison, Fox News Channel averaged 2.5 million total primetime viewers during the same period.

[...]

Despite the busy news cycle, CNN's bleak audience was smaller than TNT, Food Network, Freeform, Discovery, INSP, Hallmark Mystery, TLC, TBS, History, HGTV, USA, MSNBC, Paramount, Hallmark Channel, ESPN and Fox News.

It was even worse for CNN's primetime lineup among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54, as the network managed only 67,000 average demo viewers to finish No. 26 in cable.

More at the Twitchy link regarding CNN's latest "news" reportage, including a CNN anchorette literally lusting after the UHC CEO's assassin, insisting that the chyron be taken down so that she could see his abs.

We are real news, Mr. President.

The depravity of white leftist women is unreal.

Meanwhile, the LA Times' owners are hiring conservative writers to provide some tiny amount of balance in the editorial staff.

One leftist has resigned, shrieking "This is not the time for balance!"

It never is for these deranged communists.

Last year, Washington Post publisher and CEO William Lewis delivered a truth bomb in the middle of the newsroom by telling the staff, "Let's not sugarcoat it...We are losing large amounts of money. Your audience has halved in recent years. People are not reading your stuff. Right? I can't sugarcoat it anymore."

Litman has been one of the most unabashed lawfare warriors. Even when the Justice Department was seeking to dismiss the Flynn case, Lipman wrote an L.A. Times column advising Judge Emmet Sullivan how to "make trouble" for the administration. Litman admitted there is "very little leeway to reject the government's decisions to dismiss charges" but encouraged Sullivan to "accomplish what Congress, multiple inspectors general, and a majority of the electorate have not been able to do -- hold the president and his allies accountable for their contemptuous disregard for the rule of law."

On MSNBC's Deadline: White House, Litman declared to Nicolle Wallace that Trump's victory is "an absolute five-alarm fire." He called the effort to restore a diversity of viewpoints as little more than an attempt "to curry favor with Trump." He then added:

"And I just think this is not a time for balance when you have someone who's not telling the truth on the other side.
And it's a deep responsibility. And instead, I think they cowered and are worried about their personal holdings and just being threatened by Trump. And that's a really shameful capitulation, I think. So, I just felt I couldn't be a part of it and had to resign."

It was a telling moment. Litman appeared on a network that has lost half of its viewership and is fighting for its existence in an effort by NBCUniversal to unload it. Readers are fleeing to new media after papers like the L.A. Times and the Washington Post literally wrote off half of the country. Yet, these figures would rather lose their jobs and media platforms than their bias.

Nancy Mace "Physically Accosted" and Injured by "Pro-Trans Man"

Nancy Mace
@NancyMace

I was physically accosted at the Capitol tonight by a pro-tr*ns man. One new brace for my wrist and some ice for my arm and it'll heal just fine.

The Capitol police arrested the guy.

Your tr*ns violence and threats on my life will only make me double down. FAFO.

According to a source with knowledge, LGBTQ+ activist James McIntyre allegedly grabbed @NancyMace's hand aggressively, tightened his grip and shook her around by her arm. Rep. Mace weighs only around 115 pounds.

McIntyre faces a charge of assaulting a government official, a felony.

Wednesday Morning Rant

mannixape2.jpg

Downswing?

Since before Trump's reelection but especially after, there has been a question lingering in the minds of many. It goes along the lines of, "have we finally achieved Peak Woke?" I don't know, but I know that the question has been arising more often this year than in years prior. Ever since the Dylan Mulvaney debacle with AB-InBev, this was a question that it was suddenly - very suddenly - acceptable to ask. The displeasure with Wokeness has been rising, sometimes barely perceptibly, since then.

But it is very hard to tell. Wokeness in all its forms is so deeply embedded in American (and, more broadly, Western) institutions that it is by no means vanquished merely because Trump won and at least a plurality of people got publicly fed up with tranny madness. But there are indicators that are promising in terms of entertainment and associated products. This is a tricky barometer because the production lead time on such things is very long and entertainment is often slow to pivot to a new reality. The queue of crap that got a green light years ago has to drain. But there is one exception to this, a category with (relatively) quick turnaround: advertising.

The Morning Report — 12/11/24

Reidhorst.jpg

Good morning kids. As the saying goes, in the end it won't matter who fired the first shot, but who fired the last. And make no mistake we have been under a barrage of artillery, of both the rhetorical and literal variety going on 200-plus years. The toxic mix of an unslakable will to power, along with more than a mere soupçon of self-hatred, greed, envy and just the orgasmic glee in watching glass shatter, things go up in flames and people bleed is what we are dealing with in the Left and its locus of political power the Democrat Party.

The inversion of reality that makes Daniel Penny a villain and this Mangione some sort of a hero just underscores and scratches the surface of the twisted, perverted mentality we are up against. Let me state for the record that what Daniel Penny was forced to do given the circumstances he found himself in is regrettable in the extreme. The blame for that falls squarely at the feet of the moral and societal decay that created Neely and set him loose to roam at will. And there can be no excusing of a cold blooded assassination of a healthcare CEO regardless of whatever the shooter ranted and raved about in his manifestos. As I have stated or tried to explain over the past few days, the failings of the system that are inherent are only compounded by government interference, that were supersized post-2010. And, the decision of executives and employees or medical professionals to deny coverage regardless of legal or other consequences are perhaps a moral failing on their part which goes hand in hand of the moral and societal dissolution going on for decades now that has corrupted so much of said society. Still, you don't stalk an insurance executive and gun him down in cold blood thinking that will somehow solve problems, real or imagined.

Be it this nut or Ted Kaczynski or Audrey Hale or any one of a dozen or more over just the last few years, what drove them to do what they did is the result primarily of Leftist brainwashing, blame-shifting onto capitalists, saboteurs, racists, kulaks, right-wingers or whoever stands in the way of total Democrat/Leftist domination and the paradise on earth they have been promising since forever, if only they can liquidate Trump and the literal Hitlers that stand in the way.
Yeah, bitch and moan all you want about the lousy insurance companies, doctors and whoever. And I do not mean to diminish or dismiss any of you or your loved ones that have had horrid experiences with them during times of a health crisis. And I pray for you and yours.

Yet take note of who is cheering on or otherwise excusing the killing of Brian Thompson as understandable. Look who you're agreeing with:

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) commented on the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by stating that “violence is never the answer, this guy gets a trial, who’s allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth[care]. But you can only push people so far, and then, they start to take matters into their own hands.” And regulation is needed.

Did this miserable despicable whore not remember that she was installed in the Senate to help pass Obamacare? Which was supposed to cure the sick and lower costs for everyone, nein? Yet, prior to that and certainly since, healthcare and insurance are regulated out the wahzoo, like every other aspect of life and the economy by a massive unelected bureaucracy. And as we discussed on the latest podcast, remember that both insurance and healthcare are not guaranteed human rights and/or entitlements. They too are services that must be paid for, somehow. If they're a right, then feel free to waltz in on Dr. Oz in the middle of the night with whatever ails you and demand he treat you.

The salient point here is what the Dishonest Injun of the land crab salad tribe said, you can only push people so far, and then, they start to take matters into their own hands.” If that really was true, she and her fellow travelers would've been "transitioned" shall we say into worm food long ago, never to rise. But it is tacit approval of what the shooter did and she's not alone as we all well know by now.

And they believe with unshakeable faith that they are protecting our precious democracy from the forces of darkness and evil and so nothing is off the table.

I mean, here we have some apple-robbing flatfoot from LA spouting this:

LA Deputy District Attorney Suggests ‘Tyrant’ Trump Should Be Killed.

On top of that, a Swatting incident involving MTG resulting in a fatal car crash. Her fault, of course. /sarc

And, we have Nancy Mace assaulted on Capitol Hill by some pervert homosexual activist.

That I even have to mention the accursed name of Joy Reid is enough to induce vomitus. And yet you must let them choke on their own turds/words.

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Reid Out” that conservatism itself has “justified violence,” adding that we were “Gotham” and the Joker was “in charge.”
Reid said, “Today, the 26-year-old suspect in the killing of United Healthcare CEO was back in a Pennsylvania courtroom for an extradition hearing to determine when he’ll be brought back to New York to face charges including second-degree murder. The case has brought out a clear division in the reaction among those on the right. You see, when popular conservative pundits like Ben Shapiro and anti-woman zealot Matt Walsh try to attack evil liberals for celebrating the murder of a CEO, they were met with backlash from some of their own supporters, who defended the violence. Because the truth is some on the right don’t necessarily abhor violence if it’s against someone they don’t like, like Black Lives Matter activists or pro-Palestinian protesters. that’s why we see them get behind Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot and killed two BLM  protesters or George Zimmerman who killed Trayvon Martin and turn them into cause celebs.”[sic]

This, porcine, cancerous anal fistula cannot go to the Infernal reaches fast enough to suit me. The poison she spouts along with Warren and Titty Caca Ocasio are basically marching orders for Leftists that it's open season on anyone who opposes them. Or anyone at all who can be "transitioned" into a Horst Wessel of convenience.

The ‘Tolerant’ Left Sure Does Like Assassinations . . .The truth is that leftists are far more prone to want to murder their opponents because they’ve been infected by the Marxist-power-struggle virus, which leads them to think that the murder of a political opponent is always justifiable homicide.

In the case of health care, the left will never be satisfied until the government controls the entire system, soup to nuts, with Sen. Bernie Sanders making decisions about which patients live or die. If that means sacrificing a few health insurance CEOs on the road to this socialist Nirvana, so be it. . .

. . . In the midst of this sickness, there were some voices expressing common sense.
One of them was Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, senior associate dean at the Yale School of Management. He wrote that:
I have studied CEO and business leadership for 40 years, and such dancing on the grave of a murdered business executive is one of the most abhorrent things I have ever seen. This vitriol and violence against business and business leaders is plainly un-American.‌
Indeed it is. And who hates America? Oh, right, those on the left.

Note to Fauxcahontas Warren, We The People can only be pushed so far. The distance is yet to be determined, and we have been shoved very far indeed, to the point of off a cliff, or into a mass grave. As I stated at the start, we shall see in the end who fires the last shot. Dear Lord, regrettable though it may be, let it be us. Amen.

I believe I called this not long after the 2020 election was stolen, and when all the statues of Columbus, Lincoln, Washington and even Mahatma Ghandi came down, it won't be long before brutal cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal is pardoned and then given the medal of freedom.

And here we are:

Democrats on Capitol Hill are begging President Joe Biden, set to leave office next month, to commute the death sentences of 40 federal inmates, including one of the Boston Marathon bombers, child killers, mass shooters, and those convicted for brutally murdering women. . .

. . . Pressley also accused the first administration of President-elect Donald Trump of going on an “execution spree” for carrying out the death sentences of those sitting on death row in federal prison. Similarly, Rep. Cori Bush (R-MO) called the death penalty “a barbaric, inhumane practice most often weaponized against the most vulnerable among us” because “the overwhelming majority of people on death row are black and brown.”

Among the death sentences that Pressley and Bush are asking Biden to commute are those of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, convicted of helping carry out the Boston Marathon bombing terrorist attack that killed three people; Daniel Troya, convicted of drug-related killings of a family including two children; Marvin Gabrion, convicted of kidnapping and murdering 19-year-old Rachel Timmerman; Robert Bowers, convicted of murdering 11 Jewish Americans in a Pennsylvania synagogue; and Brandon Basham, convicted of raping and murdering 44-year-old Alice Donovan, among others.

I did not see Abu Jamal mentioned by LoPecia Pressley and that other bloated slag, but his name has got to be in there.

Suggestion for President Elect Trump: Somehow engineer the repatriation of Assata Shakur, aka Joanne Chesimard back to the USA from Cuba, have her finally convicted and then publicly executed.

That and have Kash Patel make smashing BLM, Antifa and their backers a top priority.

If only the Democrat Party could've been dismantled post 1865. And God bless the sacred memory of Senator Joe McCarthy who tried to warn us.

Have a great day.
