The extra fifty dollars per hour is so he can buy himself something pretty.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis falsely stated Sunday that she paid all special prosecutors working on the case against former President Donald Trump the same hourly rate as her alleged romantic partner, Nathan Wade, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Willis made the statement during her first public remarks since Trump co-defendant Michael Roman filed a motion last week claiming Willis not was not only romantically involved with Wade, but also that she benefited from a "lucrative" contract her office awarded to Wade. As recently as May 2023, her office paid the attorney considered Georgia's top racketeering expert, John Floyd, only $200 per hour, while Wade -- who reportedly has little to no experience prosecuting RICO cases -- was earning $250 an hour, according to billing statements obtained by the DCNF.
She offered me $200 an hour for legal work, $250 an hour if I'd "make her snizz sing like Pavarotti." I took the $200. Posted by: John Floyd
"I'm a little confused. I appointed three special counsels, as is my right to do, paid them all the same hourly rate. They only attack one," Willis during her Sunday remarks at Big Bethel AME Church, indirectly referencing Wade. In total, Wade's firm has received nearly $654,000 from the Fulton County District Attorney's office since the start of 2022, according to county records. Over the same period, Floyd's firm received just over $90,000, per county data.Wait a minute -- $654,000 is not the same number as $90,000. (I was in Track 2 math, you can trust my calculations.) Like Martin Luther King, Jr., before her, Fani Willis sometimes "stumbles" in telling $654,000 from $90,000. Black women cannot be expected to save the world and never err in claiming that $250 per hour is exactly equal to $200 per hour.
Nathan Wade, Gigolo-At-LawThis picture was taken after news broke he was
being paid for his penal expertise.
Note that he is carrying a .45 in his right hand.

He wants to sell the idea that his life is in danger,
because Fani Willis' dusty cooch is a treacherous place,
full of cobwebs and Clamato.
The motion initially filed by Roman stated that "sources close to both the special prosecutor and the district attorney" confirmed their ongoing relationship," though it did not cite hard evidence the pair is romantically involved. You know who can supply a woman "hard evidence" for $650,000?
Travel expenses? Like renting a pied-a-terre in Paris for a weekend to do "jury research"? Something like that?
Billing statements reviewed by the DCNF likewise show Wade's monthly earnings are substantially higher than both Floyd's and the other special counsel, Anna Cross. Over a three month period between November 2022 and January 2023, Wade earned $68,500 while Floyd only earned $30,200, according to statements obtained by the DCNF. .... The disparity in earning may stem from a structural difference in Wade's contracts. Wade's contract from Nov. 15, 2022 to May 15. 2023 provides him nearly four times the earning potential as Floyd's initial contract, along with coverage for work-related travel and lodging expenses, which Wade's contract includes and Floyd's does not, documents obtained by the DCNF show.

A strongly worded letter from the Department of Homeland Security to the State of Texas demands access to the U.S.-Mexico border on land seized by the State in Eagle Pass. DHS officials ordered the State to cease and desist its efforts to block Border Patrol’s access in and around Shelby Park “and remove all barriers to access” by the end of the day on January 17. Texas’s actions are clearly unconstitutional and are actively disrupting the federal government’s operations,” DHS General Counsel Jonathan E. Meyer wrote in a letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. “We demand that Texas cease and desist its efforts to block Border Patrol’s access in and around the Shelby Park area and remove all barriers to access in the Shelby Park area.” The counsel sets a deadline of the end of the day on January 17. “The recent actions by the State of Texas have impeded (emphasis added) operations of the Border Patrol. Those actions conflict with the authority and duties of Border Patrol under federal law and are preempted under the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution,” Meyer stated. The use of the word “impeded” by the DHS general counsel could imply a threat of criminal action against officers and agents of the State of Texas who are carrying out the orders of Governor Abbott to secure Shelby Park and prevent Border Patrol’s entry to the area. Under federal law 18 U.S. Code § 111, it is a federal crime to “impede” or “interfere” with certain officers or employees of the federal government. . . . . . On the evening of January 11, the Texas Military Department seized Shelby Park in Eagle Pass and expelled Border Patrol agents, Breitbart Texas reported. Border Patrol officials told Breitbart Texas that Texas National Guard units quickly moved into Shelby Park in Eagle Pass on Thursday. The guardsmen erected barriers around the park and instructed Border Patrol agents to leave the area. The following night, a Mexican migrant woman and two small children drowned in the Rio Grande near Shelby Park. Mexican officials rescued other migrants in distress and recovered the bodies of the three drowned migrants. Biden [junta] officials and U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) blamed the drownings on Governor Abbott’s decision to keep Border Patrol agents from accessing the park. Abbott responded, calling the claims “wholly inaccurate.” . . .In an apparent response to the DHS letter, Governor Abbott posted on X, “Biden is doing everything possible to eliminate strategies that actually prevent illegal immigrants from entering our country. Texas will continue to use every tool possible to block illegal immigration.”A couple of things. First, the Junta is – surprise! – lying about the timeline of events that led to the drowning. The victims were already dead by the time CBP got there and it was the Mexican authorities that pulled them from the water. The notion that CBP was prevented by Texas from rescuing them is a blood libel. Second, if people are stupid enough to attempt to cross a dangerous body of water and die in the process, the responsibility is both theirs and the Biden Junta itself for encouraging them to do so in the first place. More crucially, we now have a standoff between the Federal government and a sovereign state, in this case Texas. Funny how when blue states "nullify" Federal law, it's totes kosher, but when a red state does it, it's tantamount to, wait for it, "insurrection." In this case we had Texas law enforcement preventing CBP and DHS from accessing the border. It should be noted that the latter have been regularly going down to the river to cut the razor wire that Abbott's men have erected to keep the invaders out. Something's got to give and so far Abbott and Paxton to their credit are standing (no pun) their ground.
The increasing heat between state governments and the feds may be reaching a virtual boiling point, as the Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Friday added a supplemental filing to the Administration’s days-old request for the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to “reinstate” federal control over the southern Texas border with Mexico. . . . . . some very important, very fundamental, questions arise when reading or hearing terms such as “Border Patrol” and “DHS.” Those are heavy and powerful constitutional questions that, likely, the Supreme Court majority – however it is composed when the Justices make a decision – will not address. . . it is absolutely essential that Americans understand that the word “immigration” is not in the US Constitution, and that any federal politician or bureaucrat who claims power to control the Texas border, or even to get access to its southern border, is breaching the rules in that founding document. Many Americans conflate the power in Article One, Section Eight, granting the Congress ability to create a rule of naturalization, with the power to create a rule over immigration. Naturalization is, of course, how visitors become American citizens, not whether visitors can be on the soil of any U.S. state. . . . . . The Founders understood that immigration was not a federal power. Thomas Jefferson said so himself in his 1798 Kentucky Resolution Number Four, which was a slap at the Alien Act pushed by then-President, John Adams . . . . . . Left hanging is the matter of whether the US Constitution authorizes the feds to be involved, or if the matter of the lost migrants is one left to Texas during a time when no War has been declared. Clearly, the Founders left the matter in the hands of the state and the Texas Bureau of Immigration.Like everything else these days I have very little faith in what the Supreme Court will rule. Roberts is a stooge and even the Trump picks have been spotty at best. If Abbott and Paxton are willing to tell Biden to piss up a rope, is it fair to assume that a ruling from SCOTUS that upholds the Junta will elicit the same response? This is both a crucial test and a potential flashpoint of the dissolution and breakup of the United States. Because if Abbott stands his ground, it would give other red state governors a reason to stand their ground against the Junta on this and other issues from EPA land seizures to thwart oil exploration, imposition of DEI regimes in the schools and on and on. What Abbott and Paxton are doing is a direct threat to the authority of the Federal government. In this case, an illegitimate and abusive one that is abusing the citizenry of Texas and indeed the entire nation. As we all know, whenever a tyrant is threatened, he/she ultimately will resort to the use of force to crush that opposition. In this case, the only option for DC if Abbott and Paxton continue to block DHS and CBP from the Rio Grande is to use force to impose its will on them. That means potentially arresting them both and perhaps the Republican members of the TX legislature and taking over the running of the state. Sound crazy? Would they go that far? Of course, I am merely attempting to play out one possible scenario. Abbott and Paxton could also conceivably collapse like a wet taco. But given the gravity of the crisis and their raising the ante in physically blocking federal agents, I can't imagine them backing down now. Not with a likely majority of Texans and the rest of real America behind them. The ball is in the Junta's court. Whether they know it or not, and I believe they do, the stakes are enormous. They cannot back down because to do so is both a massive, embarrassing failure as well as tacit admission that opening the border (despite the bullshit lies that they're not to blame) was a mistake. They are actively seeking to replace what's left of the American citizenry with a majority of third world peasants who will eagerly keep them in permanent power in return for whatever's left in the US Treasury. That scenario is playing out not only here but all over the world, and with the resurgence of Trump as well as the election of "populist" (that is no longer a dirty word) leaders in Europe, the Davos-Brussels-Beijing Axis is getting antsy. What to do to stop it? Yup, once more with feeling!
Of course, ensuring people get diets full of protein and other immune-system-enhancing nutrients doesn’t allow Big Pharma to prosper, nor bureaucrats to mandate policies on the global scale (which they themselves will ignore). Well, it turns out that Disease X is on the agenda at Davos. They may be oblivious, but they don't really give a shit, do they? And this Disease X that doesn't exist yet? Umm, who had the Andromeda Strain on their Bingo cards? It comes after warnings from experts that a hypothetical new pandemic could kill 20 times more people than the recent coronavirus outbreak. It is hoped that with the correct research framework in place and enough knowledge in place on a global level, a future pandemic could be eliminated in just 100 days. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned of a potential Disease X since 2017, a term indicating an unknown pathogen that could cause a serious international epidemic. Speaking to the WEF on its Radio Davos podcast last year, author Kate Kelland said that extensive research into already-known families of viruses would help humanity prepare and create a vaccine quickly for the the next outbreak. She said: “Because scientists were working for decades or more on Sars vaccines and also on Mers vaccine, they found out some very key pieces of information about coronaviruses. If we do that kind of homework on every one of the 25 or so viral families that we already know have the potential to cause disease in humans … then we can actually gain a lot of knowledge ahead of time about something that doesn’t exist yet.”I predict the attendees at Davos will remain oblivious to how their policies will be received.
In a Wuhan-esque study, Chinese scientists are experimenting with a mutant COVID-19 strain that has a 100% kill streak in “humanized” mice. The deadly virus — known as GX_P2V — attacked the brains of mice that were engineered to reflect similar genetic makeup to people, according to a study shared last week out of Beijing. “This underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans and provides a unique model for understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2-related viruses,” the authors wrote. The deadly virus is a mutated version of GX/2017, a coronavirus cousin that was reportedly discovered in Malaysian pangolins in 2017 — three years before the pandemic. All the mice that were infected with the virus died within just eight days, which researchers noted was a “surprisingly” rapid death rate. GX_P2V had infected the lungs, bones, eyes, tracheas, and brains of the dead mice, the last of which was severe enough to ultimately cause the death of the animals. In the days before their deaths, the mice had quickly lost weight, exhibited a hunched posture, and moved extremely sluggishly. Most eerie of all, their eyes turned completely white the day before they died. Although terrifying, the study is the first of its kind to report a 100% mortality rate in mice infected by the COVID-19-related virus — far surpassing previously reported results from another study, the researchers wrote. More importantly, the results of the study do not indicate how it would impact human beings. Francois Balloux, an epidemiology expert at the University College London’s Genetics Institute, slammed the research as “terrible” and “scientifically totally pointless. “I can see nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force-infecting a weird breed of humanized mice with a random virus. Conversely, I could see how much stuff might go wrong,” the professor wrote on X. “The preprint does not specify the biosafety level and biosafety precautions used for the research,” he continued. “The absence of this information raises the concerning possibility that part or all of this research, like the research in Wuhan in 2016-2019 that likely caused the Covid-19 pandemic, recklessly was performed without the minimal biosafety containment and practices essential for research with potential pandemic pathogens. Professor of chemistry and chemical biology at Ruger’s University Richard H. Ebright backed up Balloux’s concerns with a simple: “concur.” Dr. Gennadi Glinsky, a retired professor of medicine at Stanford, wrote: “This madness must be stopped before too late.”The end of this article is to laugh, after your head explodes:
The 2024 study does not appear to have any ties to China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, which was the center of lab leak theories surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. US intelligence agencies over the summer found no direct evidence that the lab leaked the coronavirus, though did not rule out the possibility that the virus came from a different one. It's the NY Post, which is rapidly degenerating in quality and veracity now that the Murdoch spawn are in charge. That said, at least Klassik KOVID was essentially treatable with readily available and cheap anti-virals, until Big Pharma pimped vaccines that were dangerous, untested and lethal. From what this virus can do to "humanized mice" – what the Feminists have turned men into, by the way – the Luddites and Malthusians will be able to get to net zero in record time. Top Story
- Apple has unveiled its response to the Epic lawsuit that ended with the company being required to allow developers to use third-party payment providers. (MacRumors)
Some notable features:
1. Developers are only allowed to use third-party payment providers with the express written permission of Apple. Requests for permission may be filed by registered mail that must be sent and received on the sixth Sunday of any given month.
2. When a user is redirected from the developer's application to an external website to process a payment, the application is required to warn in 40 point text that the user "will probably be devoured by wolves" upon leaving Apple's walled garden.
3. Apple still insists on a 70% cut of any payment made by any means at any time, from anybody, to anybody. Bobby didn't forward Apple their cut, and Bobby's store burned down the next day. While he was in it. Don't be like Bobby.
I am exaggerating only slightly.

[N]ow we know that Austin's aides did everything they could to make sure news of their boss's condition and location went unnoticed. The Daily Beast obtained a recording of the 911 call through a FOIA request to the State of Virginia, which revealed that Austin's staff asked that the ambulance show up without lights and sirens because "we're trying to remain a little subtle."Cultural enrichment. More cultural enrichment. Biden seems to be paving the way towards great-cultural-revolution-transformed-the-cia-and-fbi/">and he's provided an excerpt of it to AmGreatness.
"Can I ask--can the ambulance not show up with lights and sirens? Uhm, we're trying to remain a little subtle," the aide said... The dispatcher responded that the ambulance could do that, noting that "usually when they turn into a residential neighborhood, they'll turn them off." She added that the ambulance is required by law to run the sirens and lights on main streets, such as Georgetown Pike and Leesburg Pike.
The excerpt is about Obama's "fundamental transformation" of the US security apparatus into a tool for repression by the left.
An early Soviet active measures campaign took on a life of its own and survived the collapse of the USSR. It provided the philosophical and strategic bases for a cultural Marxist revolution so profound that it penetrated the cores of the CIA and FBI. That is one of the startling findings of scholar J. Michael Waller in his new book, Big Intel: How the CIA and FBI Went from Cold War Heroes to Deep State Villains. Published today [January 16] by Regnery, Big Intel shows how the intelligence community failed to defend the United States against a decades-old Soviet covert operation to destroy democratic Western societies from within. American Greatness is reprinting an exclusive excerpt of Big Intel to show how the Obama administration used the George W. Bush-era centralization of the intelligence community to impose critical theory and cultural Marxism on the CIA, FBI, and other intelligence services. The excerpt is slightly edited for context and clarity.
More at the link. The book itself is available here. I'm looking forward to reading it. I have heard -- and just known, intuitively-- that Obama turned the intelligence agencies from guardians against foreign interference into Soviet-like enforcers of a foreign ideology in the US. But I didn't know exactly how he'd done this. I've mentioned before that Rich Higgins used to talk about highly classified briefings about terrorism and jihadism in which members of the Muslim Brotherhood were physically present, at Obama's insistence, to review and often veto what the government was allowed to tell soldiers and intelligence agents about jihadism and Koranic exhortations to kill the infidel. I've also mentioned that he was bewildered when Obama's agents would caution "all of this is classfied." Rich wondered, "The fucking Muslim Brotherhood is right there at the end of the table writing all of this down. Who the HELL do you think you're keeping this secret from?" The book seems to be about how this "cultural revolution" or "coup" was achieved. Or I hope it is. The FAA is finally going to start hiring severely intellectually stunted and psychologically disturbed people to... keep track of air traffic and make sure planes don't smash into each other.
The cultural revolution in the intelligence community, as with much of the rest of the government bureaucracy, began on August 18, 2011. On that day Obama issued Executive Order 13583. The title said it all: "Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce." The shepherdess of the executive order was presidential confidant Valerie Jarrett. Diversity order 13583 was a social revolutionary ukase. It made no reference to enhancing intelligence collection, analysis, operations, or capabilities. It gave no explanation as to how such a diverse force might strengthen the intelligence community with language skills or knowledge of domestic or foreign cultures or the benefits of varied personal perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. On its face, 13583 looked like a virtue-signaling sop to the various identity groups that funded or mobilized voters for Obama's presidency. But there was nothing superficial about it. It was an ideological coup. The executive order was a majoritarian decree to transform the culture of the entire federal bureaucracy through implementation of critical theory. Once the bureaucratic culture changed--as Italian Communist Party theoretician Antonio Gramsci and the Frankfurt School's Herbert Marcuse had taught--the proper opinions and policies would follow. Obama knew that personnel is policy.
The Federal Aviation Administration is attempting to hire people with "severe intellectual" disabilities, psychiatric problems and other conditions under a "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" initiative. The DEI Disasters are coming. I know it's a pipedream, but I want to prosecute the people who are the ultimate authors of the coming mass casualties for manslaughter. Video indicates that Nancy Pelosi's chief of security lied about the Oath Keepers' behavior on January 6th. Capitol Police Officer and screaming lunatic Henry Dunn explained his unprofessional and threatening behavior -- threatening to kill as many protesters as he could -- by claiming, get this, that he had been the victim of "racist" abuse first. (Which, of course, justifies threatening to mow people down with your rifle.) The Oath Keepers stood between the emotionally-volatile Dunn and the "more excitable" protesters, trying to cool the situation down. Nancy Pelosi's chief of security David Lazarus then gave testimony in support of Dunn, backing his story, and claiming the Oath Keepers had not attempted to de-escalate the situation, but had "hassled" him. This resulted in long sentences for the Oath Keepers. The trouble is: Video shows that Lazarus was in a different part of the Capitol during the critical period. He perjured himself. He was not in any position to give any word about the Oath Keepers encounter, but lied and said he was present in order to convict the Oath Keepers (by defeating their claim that they acted to de-escalate).
Advertisement "Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring," the FAA's website reads. "They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism." The FAA employs about 45,000 people and is overseen by Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Christina ButtonsFrom John Sexton: Elon Musk hosted an "X Spaces" dialogue with Bill Ackman (the megadonor fighting Harvard) and Dean Philips (the Democrat fighting a lonely campaign against Biden to be the nominee). His thoughts on immigration are interesting. After having established his own pro-immigrant credentials (he is one), he then offered:
@buttonslives
Dear Democrats, you can't bully me into voting for Biden again. I was promised he would be a moderate candidate, but that turned out to be a lie. I won't vote unless there's a candidate I actually like. The narrative that "not voting for Biden is a vote for Trump" isn't going to work anymore; you've cried wolf too many times. The world didn't end when Trump was president the first time, and it's not going to end if he's elected again. So just stop with the hysterics and produce a worthwhile candidate. Thank you,

"[We"e cannot have, not merely an open border but a border where the federal government is facilitating the transfers of vast numbers of people into the country. Even when, say, Texas tries to take action to enforce the law the federal government is trying to stop them from doing so. There's literally a federal lawsuit to stop Texas from actually enforcing the illegal immigration laws. "It's important to bear in mind the United States is only 4 to 5 percent of the world population so it's very easy for the United States to get swamped by illegal immigration, just absolutely swamped. If you're somewhere else and you say there's going to get free money and housing and medical care to illegal immigrants and that exceeds the standard of living in half the world then why doesn't half the world just move here?More at the link, including an edited audio recap of the discussion. Relatedly, Greg Abbott says he will not stop busing illegals to sanctuary cities until Biden closes the border.
"As Bill [Ackman] said a moment ago, incentives drive behavior, obviously. It would be strange if they didn't. And so what we're seeing is that word is getting out. It's going viral basically. Illegal immigration through the southern border is going viral. This is not a Mexico thing. Almost none of the people coming across are Mexican." After a brief interruption by the host, Musk continued, "Just look at the graphs of the rate of growth of illegal immigration. It is going exponential. To use a rocketship analogy, it is a rocketship of growth of illegal immigration. Because of social media, everyone on earth knows this. It is now an industry."

@GregAbbott_TX Jan 9 Texas has transported over 100,000 migrants to sanctuary cities to relieve overwhelmed border towns. Until Biden reverses course on his open border policies, Texas will continue transporting migrants to these cities. We will not back down on our efforts to secure the border.
Speaking of Bill Ackman: He says he's about to launch a major lawsuit against Business Insider for running that defamatory hit-piece against his wife. Hot Air says that the suit will probably not prevail, given that the wife did some of the things alleged, like... not citing Wikipedia. I mean, that's a bullshit charge, but it's not factually false to say she didn't cite Wikipedia. And I don't think the suit will function well even as a nuisance suit -- based on my own experiences with leftwing corrupt Regime judges, they will bend over backwards to claim that every defamatory falsehood uttered by a leftwinger is mere "opinion" and "fair comment," while twisting the law to permit conservative to be sued for quoting the very man they allegedly "defamed." One possible upside -- if the leftwing judge doesn't throw the case out immediately -- is finding out who fed Business Insider this hit piece. (Business Insider isn't the kind of "journalistic" operation that does its own homework. They are just a clearinghouse for hit pieces written by their allies on the left. It's basically an AI version of Vice Story Pitches.) I've heard others speculate (was it Megyn Kelly?) that it was probably MIT itself that leaked the hit piece material on its former professor. It would be illuminating to see how this disgusting game is played by the self-declared Thought Leaders.

Most likely Republican Iowa caucusgoers say they'll vote for former President Donald Trump in the general election if he's the GOP nominee, regardless of the candidate they're supporting on caucus night.Bill Kristol urged his fellow Democrats to vote for Haley -- and continue voting for Haley in the primaries, throughout "the winter and spring."

Here is a representative illustration from the "teach in." This is a crude illustration, presumably from the anti-Jewish coloring book.
Thirty Jewish families transfer out of Oakland public school district after Pro-Palestine teachers proposed 'draw the Zionist bully' kids activity during anti-Israel 'teach-in' Jewish families in the Bay Area progressive enclave felt targeted by one of the Oakland teachers' union and the district at large The Oakland school district publicly opposed the teach-in, with some critics demanding that teachers who participate face punishment By Germania Rodriguez At least 30 Jewish families have transferred out of the Oakland Unified School District over fears of anti-Semitism during the Hamas-Israel war. Jewish families in the Bay Area progressive enclave felt targeted by one of the Oakland teachers' union and the district at large after educators held a 'teach-in' that focused on pro-Palestine lessons. Parents Rebecca and Isaac, who chose not to give their last names, told CBS News they made the decision to move their six-year-old out of the school district after what they saw as signs of anti-Semitism. 'There were lesson plans being taught that said, "draw the Zionist bully' or "I is for Intifada, J is for Jesus."' Rebecca noted of the teaching materials featured in the 'From Gaza to Oakland' teach-in. 'And to me, it felt like - honestly - we were being targeted and singled out and alienated.'
... Rebecca explained: 'just felt that there wasn't a path forward for Jewish families because I had reached out to OUSD and asked them to have a conversation about how they were going to keep Jewish families feeling safe and included. 'I didn't want to have my child around educators that might not be able to treat him the same way that they treat other students.'
... Organizers of the teach-in released a lengthy list of suggested curriculum materials for grade levels from pre-K through high school. The first lesson for Upper Elementary School students is titled: 'Part A: Where is Palestine? What is Zionism?' Among the recommended materials is a coloring book featuring a Palestinian character who says: 'A group of bullies called Zionists wanted our land so they stole it by force and hurt many people.'

Fani Willis' ethical lapses make her judgment suspect. Just like Martin Luther King Jr before her.
And also, Jesus Christ.Headline thanks to Minnfidel.
Former U.S Attorney Michael Moore argues says Georgia's Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should resign if an alleged improper relationship turns out to be true. Willis hired her alleged romantic partner, special prosecutor Nathan Wade, to prosecute former President Donald Trump, according to court documents. The documents also state that she went on vacations with Wade using funds that his firm received from his work on the Trump case. "Cases are not lost because of some 'Matlock' moment, some moment like you see in 'My Cousin Vinny,' where suddenly somebody finds the evidence. Cases die by the death of 1,000 cuts. This is a cut on the case," Moore, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, said on CNN Sunday. ... If the allegation turned out to be true, Moore said it would be an "unforced error" that has tainted the case. "I'd tell her to get out of the case. I really think that in this type of case, with these allegations, this case is bigger than any one prosecutor," Moore said. "And I think, probably, to preserve the case and to show that what's of most importance to her is the facts of the Trump case, opposed to her political career."
Fani Willis breaks silence on accusations...Speaking as if she was having a conversation with God, Willis asked, “How come, God, the same Black man I hired was acceptable when a Republican in another country hired him and paid him twice the rate?” I hope the truth comes out and for now I assume the rightwing attacks are BS. The Trump trolls were all aglow a couple days ago. Hopefully this breaks their little troll hearts. I doubt it because its not a denial of the central accusations. Did she hire someone with whom she had an amorous relationship which would be a conflict of interest? Did he "reward" her by paying for vacations which would be a kickback. Hopefully, she will deny all wrongdoing, that the accusations are fictions, and that everything is on the up and up. So Trump henchmen make an accusation, and she has to prove they are wrong? Presumably they talked about the weather.
In addition, Hunter Biden specifically asked the "art dealer" to tell him who was buying his "art." Remember, White House liars assured us that there could be no influence peddling, even though people were buying child-level watercolors for $300,000 a pop, because Hunter didn't know who the buyers were and therefore couldn't deliver political favors to them. (Unless the people buying influence just, you know, told the guy they were buying influence from that they were the purchasers of that influence.) But the "art dealer" said that the corrupt crackhead specifically asked to be informed who his patrons and influence-purchasers were.He says that in a second deal, Hunter Biden dropped this demand. But Hunter still knew (at least) 70% of the "art" buyers. I'd say that figure is actually 100%, because influencer-buyers do not remain anonymous. Hunter's "Sugar Brother" Kevin Morris, who Hunter lives with occasionally, donated $875,000 to the Hunter Biden Payoff Fund.
The art dealer who sold Hunter Biden's paintings told Congress that President Joe Biden both called and met him at the White House as he was pitching Hunter's artwork and that the first son also made an unusual request to be informed about who bought his pieces, according to testimony that directly undercuts the White House narrative on the sales. The Biden White House repeatedly told the public that Hunter Biden's art sales were covered by an ethics agreement to ensure they were arms-length and that the first family -- Hunter included -- was blinded to the identity of buyers. But George Berges, owner of the prestigious Berges art galleries based in New York and Berlin that sold Hunter Biden's painting from 2020 to 2023, told congressional impeachment investigators that the first son likely knew the identity of 70% of the buyers -- the largest who were Democrat donors -- and that Hunter Biden's first contract made an unusual request when the relationship started. "I believe in the first contract, he was--he was able to know who the buyers were," Berges told investigators for the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees in a transcribed interview last week that was reviewed by Just the News. "...I don't know how it was phrased or--but I remember that there--that that was the difference." "Is that normal or unusual, or where's that? Is it a normal kind of contract?" Berges was asked. "That part was different. Normally, the gallerist does not let the artist know who the collectors are," the art dealer answered.
Of course Joe Biden called the "art dealer" and met with him to discuss weather-related events.
Berges was also asked how many of the 15 artists he represents now -- except for Hunter Biden -- wanted to know the identity of purchasers. "None," he answered.
A Father's Love requires Joe Biden to constantly stroke people who are facilitating bribes to his son (and then to his own bank accounts).
"Have you spoken to President Biden?" a House investigator asked at one point.
"Yes," Berges answered. "Okay. And was that in person or on the phone or both?" the investigator pressed.
"Both," he answered.

Andrew Sullivan: How Many Children Is Israel Willing to Kill? In this risible essay he holds Hamas to a perfunctory standard of behavior, but holds Israel to an impossible standard...one that no nation in history has ever attempted, much less achieved. And to buttress that anti-Semitic double standard (yes, Andrew Sullivan is an anti-Semite), he simply ignores the facts of history and military necessity. And he lies. A quick reading of his essay will yield omissions, but also flagrant deceptions. Israel, according to Excitable Andi, uses 2,000 pound bombs! Apparently in Sullivan's world that is a war crime. But he fails to point out that those bombs are designed to penetrate the earth and destroy tunnels with minimal death and destruction above ground. They are not used indiscriminately...they are used to destroy the unbelievable subterranean network that Hamas uses to conduct their terror operations.
Israel says they're necessary to destroy Hamas's tunnel network, which is, quite obviously, a completely legitimate war aim. But still. Hundreds of massive, indiscriminate bombs in such a tiny, crammed place all but guarantee mass death of innocents. It is simply too easy to put all the blame on Hamas for this. CNN reported last month, "Nearly half of the [29,000] air-to-ground munitions that Israel has used in Gaza in its war with Hamas since October 7 have been unguided, otherwise known as 'dumb bombs.'" This may not be genocide, but it sure pushes right up to the boundary of any legal or moral combat.
Ah...that lovely Sullivanism: "But still." What? Does Sullivan's expertise extend to complex military challenges? Is he an expert in warfare against a terrorist organization that specifically uses a dense urban setting as a shield? Or is it that he wants more Israeli soldiers to die? Because his nonsensical fixation on the inherent unfairness of Israel's war on Hamas suggests that if only many more Israelis were dying it would be more palatable. And his tepid "this may not be genocide" is followed soon after with the charge of infanticide!
When more than 15 percent of the population are toddlers, any full-scale war ineluctably becomes a mass, intense infanticide. And that is what is in front of our noses right now: thousands of dead children.
At least he didn't suggest that the children of Gaza are being harvested to make matzoh. But back to the numbers...the unfairness of the war!
Because Hamas is not a nation-state capable of mounting a comparable counterattack, we are also witnessing an inherently lopsided fight, where civilian losses among the Gazans are stratospherically higher than Israeli casualties. It's not a war like the Allies and the Nazis, where two forces matched; it's a war in which one party already controls the entire ground of the other, has vastly superior air and land power, and can pound its enemy with relative impunity. It therefore looks and feels like a relentless massacre. This is in part, of course, because Hamas deliberately uses civilians as fodder and human shields, and cynically maximizes civilian deaths for propaganda purposes. This too is different than other kinds of war, and it makes it close to impossible to defeat Hamas without massive civilian loss. Hamas bears ultimate responsibility for the carnage. The question is how much care Israel has been taking to minimize the collateral horror, in a population dominated by the young.
This is stupidity on a grand scale. In Sullivan's world the Allies should have stopped bombing Germany and Japan once their air forces had been destroyed. The fight against the Axis became lopsided; because WE WERE WINNING! That's how war works. It isn't a couple of pugilists in a ring with a referee and rules and a couple of pints afterward. It is the destruction of the enemy's capacity to make war and, even more important, his will to make war. After Israel withdrew from Gaza the prevailing tone among the elites was that a certain number of attacks was inevitable and acceptable to keep the larger "peace." Clearly that appeasement did not work, and Israel is now operating under a new paradigm...one that should have been ingrained in them from the beginning, but was lost for reasons that are rooted in the assumption that Gaza and the West Bank can be moderated by prosperity and relative freedom. Sullivan doesn't like that new paradigm. He would prefer the world of Rabin and Peres...one of constant appeasement and concession. His solution to the intractable Jew-Hate of the Arabs in Gaza and the West Bank is...what exactly is his answer? Conduct a ground war that does not kill children? That is impossible. Conduct a war with only "smart" bombs that kill only terrorists? That is impossible. Go house to house using ground troops and no air power to avoid collateral damage? Sure...that would mean thousands of dead Israeli soldiers, and while Sullivan probably likes that idea, the people of Israel do not. Sullivan holds Gaza and Hamas to a minimal standard of behavior...just enough for cover from the charge of being a Hamas supporter. He rightly criticizes the barbarity of the attacks, but then charges Israel with an overreaction. Even his first essay after the October 7th pogrom was seeded with his equivocation. Hamas is evil...But But But! Left unsaid is that he doesn't expect them to behave in a civilized manner, and he doesn't particularly care. The bigotry of low expectations! All he wants is for those pesky Jews in Israel to be paragons of enlightened behavior, and rise above petty tribalism and oh-so-uncomfortable ideas like love of country, love of culture, and love of religion. Did I say "equivocation?" Actually, in that essay, Sullivan suggests that the creation of the modern state of Israel wasn't such a good idea, because nothing was done for the Arabs. Of course that is arrant nonsense, and exposes one of two things; either Andrew Sullivan is far dumber than many of us thought, or he really is an unrepentant Jew-hating snob. My money is on the Jew-hate.

Shortly after the Iowa caucus concluded, tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy announced that he would suspend his campaign and endorse Trump. That leaves two: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley. The Trump campaign has called on the candidates to drop out and clear the field for Trump. There's still a very real possibility that Trump could be in jail by the time the general election rolls around. (Note what I'm not saying: I'm not saying that Trump should be in prison.) But although Trump is the runaway favorite to win the nomination, the fact remains that he is now engaged in a multi-front war. (Ask Napoleon how that worked out.) Let's look at the dates for Trump's upcoming trials and how they fit with the rest of the primaries, caucuses, and Election Day:Meh. This is Paula Bolyard, whose assertions that she doesn't want Trump to be imprisoned should be taken with a large grain of salt. She's not a fan and I don't think ever was. Besides, this is PJ Media which is now part of Salem Media which also owns Townhall and Hot Air. QED. But that said, her observations about what lies ahead for Trump are spot on. Haley is a RINO stooge. She's an absolute non-starter. There is no one else besides DeSantis that has anywhere near the anti-establishment/anti-Leftist bona fides that Trump does, their day-to-day missteps and misstatements notwithstanding. Ramaswamy threw a lot of red meat but he's bowed out. That bit about Ronna Romney McDaniel choosing the candidate would be the bitter end. It would no doubt be Haley. Meh, I can see her trotting out Uncle Pee-Air Defecto to come in and save the day! Of course, and this point has been argued here and no doubt will be as soon as I post the column, Trump himself endorsed her as RNC chair or at least gave a thumbs up. Was Harmeet Dhillon a better choice? Who knows, but for sure Ronna McDaniel was and is horrendous. Remember that big red wave of 2022? It's all moot now. So what do we do? There's not much, I guess, except go out and vote for him or DeSantis in your state's primary. Even then, all of the persecutions and prosecutions are going to ramp up if not come to a head. Then again, they don't have to since as we all know the process is the punishment, although you best believe they want him behind bars. Or six feet under if they can't get that. I know that a lot of you as well as Ace and some of the cobs are to be charitable less than enthused with Trump. That puts it mildly for them, but for me it's not sarcasm. I support Trump yet he nevertheless gets under my skin when he says and does things that at times are head-scratchers if not "WTF!?"-inducing. At other times he hits the friggin' nail right on the head when it comes to the issues and what needs to get done. If, as the tea leaves show, he is unstoppable in the primaries, then we best get behind him, warts and all. Doesn't mean hold back on criticism when it's warranted. That's what the propagandists do when Democrats rape children, steal billions, and persecute the innocent. But, if you've read this column for any length of time, you know that I have my reservations about elections, even if we overcome the fraud. About the only thing they can do is slow down to a greater or lesser extent the inevitable, depending upon who wins them. In some or even most cases (*cough!* Dubya! *cough!*) the people we vote for do as bad or even worse structural damage than the Democrats we seemingly thwarted. It's going to take things that go way beyond elections to prevent the inevitable, or to mitigate the pain and suffering once it hits, if that is even possible.Jan. 23: New Hampshire primary
Feb 8: Nevada caucus
Feb 24: South Carolina primary
March 2: Michigan, Idaho, Missouri, District of Columbia, N. Dakota primaries and caucus
March 4: Federal election interference
March 5: Super Tuesday
May 20: Mar-a-Lago classified docs
March 25: Stormy Daniels payments
July 15: GOP convention
August 5: Georgia election interference
Nov. 5: Election Day That's some heavy, heavy ammo aimed at destroying Trump at a time he should be spending his time and money campaigning. Some (or possibly all) of these cases will be delayed for one reason or another, which means that come November, Trump could still be embroiled in legal troubles. There are several possible scenarios: All of the cases have been disposed, and Trump is free to go on with his life (unlikely)
Trump loses one or more cases and is sentenced to jail time just in time for the election (possible)
Trump is kicked off the ballot in key states (also possible) If you don't think the left is working overtime to ensure the first and third options happen, you haven't been paying attention. Is it right? No. But that's never stopped the Left before. Nor have the rule of law or the Constitution. The Supreme Court may yet step in and stop all this madness, but can we count on John Roberts? How about Amy Coney Barrett? Both have voted with the left wing of the court on some issues. So what happens if a presidential nominee withdraws or dies after the convention but before the election? The political parties choose a replacement candidate. From Teaching History: Since the time of Andrew Jackson's run for the presidency in 1828, individual political parties have had the job of filling any vacancy on their national ticket, either that of their presidential or vice-presidential candidate. If one of their candidates vacates the ticket after they are nominated, either because of death or withdrawal, the party selects a replacement. Both the Republican and the Democratic parties have rules in their bylaws governing how to fill the vacancy. The Party Chair calls a meeting of the National Committee, and the Committee members at the meeting vote to fill the vacancy on the ticket. A candidate must receive a majority of the votes to win the party's nod.Just what we need: Ronna McDaniels choosing the GOP candidate. Of course, the same thing could happen to Biden. He's not getting any younger and can barely spit out a coherent sentence these days. But we're concerned with Republicans here because losing to the Democrats in 2024 may very well be the last nail in the Republic's coffin. So what happens if Democrats get their way and throw Trump in the slammer before the convention? That would depend on the delegates. Most Republican delegates are bound to vote for the nominee(s) chosen by their states on the first ballot at the convention, although there is some disagreement on whether or not that can be enforced. If bound delegates go rogue in the event that Trump is jailed, it's anyone's guess what the RNC would do. These are all hypotheticals, but knowing what we know about Democrats, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Trump could be in jail on Election Day. The damage Joe Biden (or whoever's running him) could do to this nation in four years is breathtaking. We may not survive it. That's why we need a Plan B in the form of a backup nominee.

Fleedom!
The LA Times "reports" -- were told what to write by Kamala's PR people -- that she's run away to the Blue Bubble of California. So the "president" is on vacation 40% of all days and Kamala Harris has absconded to California. Matt Margolis:"For Harris, the impulse to escape Washington -- where she faces Republican scorn and criticism within her own party -- for downtime at home has been difficult to satisfy over the last few years," the article explains. "While President Biden has made a near weekly habit of returning home to neighboring Delaware, the taxpayer-funded, cross-country flight to L.A. is harder to justify unless it includes official business. Harris' trips home to L.A. are often camouflaged with an event to celebrate a local small business or a stop to raise awareness about one of her policy focuses such as Black maternal healthcare or reproductive rights. The vice president was also anchored to Washington during the first half of her term to cast tiebreaking votes in an evenly divided Senate." At times, the article reads like a smarmy puff piece about a celebrity showing off her oasis from the paparazzi, with the harsh realities of Harris's lackluster vice presidency oozing through the cracks. "But the Brentwood home, largely concealed by its verdant surroundings, has become a sanctuary for one of the world's most visible figures," the article continues. "The four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot house, less than a mile from Sunset Boulevard and roughly a 10-minute drive from the Will Rogers State Historic Park, is off-limits to reporters. In October, a group of protesters pulled up in cars outside to call for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war, though Harris wasn't there to hear their pleas."Her PR people realize that it sounds like Kamala Harris is useless -- I mean, she runs off to California and she needs to alert the press to this fact, because no one otherwise noticed -- so the LAT and her PR people then do some backfilling to insist that when she is in DC, she's really very important. A VIP VP, doncha know. See the article for that. Meanwhile, the President of Vacations falls to his lowest approval rate yet.
Only one-third of U.S. adults say they approve of President Biden's job performance -- a record low for his presidency and for any president in the last 15 years. In an ABC News/Ipsos poll, conducted Jan. 4-8, only 33 percent of those surveyed said they approved of Biden, a drop from the previous poll in September 2023, when 37 percent approved of his performance. Biden's disapproval rating is 58 percent, up from 56 percent in September. That's bad -- but Trump's numbers are only a little better.
Biden, who is running for reelection, has a lower approval rating than former President Trump, who is the leading GOP nominee for president. Asked when "looking back" whether they approve or disapprove of the way Trump handled his job when he was president, 41 percent of respondents said they approve, down from 48 percent in September. Trump's disapproval rating is 53 percent, up from 49 percent in SeptemberHere's the thing: We can celebrate Biden's low approval rating, but he's not going to be allowed to be the candidate if (when) those low numbers persist. On the other hand, we in the GOP are determined to lock ourselves to the second-most unpopular candidate, and then just sort of hope that the eventual Democrat nominee earns a very negative approval rating in a few short weeks. Meanwhile: The White House was "swatted".
White House is SWATTED: Prank caller calls 911 to say residence was on fire and someone was trapped inside Call was made around 7 am on MondayThis is not a swatting. SWAT was not called. Firefighters do not show up at a fire with weapons hot looking to shoot at fires. When someone is swatted, armed cops show up expecting to see someone about to kill his wife and children. A swatting is an attempted murder using amped-up but unknowing SWAT officers as a weapon. The fake 911 call at the White House, on the other hand, is literally nothing. But this will get 100x the coverage of the multiple swattings of MTG and the swatting of the computer shop owner that Hunter Biden slandered. Thanks to ciampino. And also meanwhile: The Iranians Biden continues to send billions to are bombing the US Embassy in Iraq.
Led to fire trucks and ambulances swarming White House
Call is suspected to be a hoax By Emily Goodin, Senior U.S. Political Reporter Published: 10:49 EST, 15 January 2024 | Updated: 11:52 EST, 15 January 2024 Fire trucks and ambulances swarmed the White House on Monday morning after a caller told 911 dispatchers the building was on fire and someone was trapped inside in what appears to be a 'swatting' incident. President Joe Biden was at Camp David when the call came. D.C. fire and emergency services dispatched 13 units in response. But the call was quickly determined a false alarm. The White House now appears to be the latest victim in the dangerous 'swatting' trend that is sweeping the country.
