Organic means $.10 more same as in town.
I like the newbie wine experts that ask about organic wine and wine with no sulfites. The biggest joke in the wide world is the American who said they were in Europe last year and the wine there didn’t have sulfites. The reality is all wine has sulfites, it is a natural byproduct of the process. Yet there are legit Americans who will tell you the wine in Europe did not give them headaches but the wine in the USA does. In Europe, you do not have to declare that the wine has sulfite in the USA you do. Same wine but different regulations. If there are so many people that will legitimately tell you the wine in Europe is “different”. I actually think this does have a political point to be made here people will legitimately believe anything if it supports their own worldview Posted by: Quint at January 16, 2024 04:39 AM (NevXa) 41

Perhaps, in PPM quantities. Sulfites are added as preservatives. Labelling requirements require "Contains Sulfites" if there are added sulfites, which nearly all (but not all) wines do. Posted by: Miklos used to trade in wine by the container load at January 16, 2024 04:43 AM (9WMo9) 47

46 sometimes they are added. A few people want the products they buy to go bad. But wine itself by nature contain sulfites. Organic wines and wines with no added sulfites can be OK but they also can be awful. They go bad.
You also get sulfide from things such as dried fruit and tons of other products. Anyone who thinks the wine in Europe contains no sides, has their head way up their own arse. Posted by: Quint at January 16, 2024 04:47 AM (NevXa) 51

I have no problem with people having their own choices in life. Many people will tell you they don’t like red wine because it gives them headaches, and they think the sulfite are the reason. Maybe it’s the booze that gives them headaches, Maybe it is something in their head and they can’t let it go.
The reality is, there are many food items that have 10 times as much sulfide as wine. Like dried apricots, but can’t handle a glass of red then there’s something weird going on with you. There are so many old wives, tails and old frat, bro, tales about alcohol and legitimately they are all wrong almost 100 times out of 100. But that is OK. There are worse issues we have to deal with than old wives tales. Posted by: Quint at January 16, 2024 05:06 AM (NevXa) 63

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government has expanded immigration policy such that there is essentially no limit on the arrival of temporary foreign residents.
In addition to that uncapped number, the government is aiming to take in 485,000 permanent new residents, which the economists say the country simply cannot afford to do. 'We currently lack the infrastructure and capital stock in this country to adequately absorb current population growth and improve our standard of living,' they wrote. Immigration or welfare Cant do both. Posted by: rhennigantx at January 16, 2024 05:48 AM (lwOKI) 98

You get to pay into the system but not a dime in benefits. With the current projected cost of half a million cost per child they can finance their own retirement with the savings. I bought thing with money. Now i have thing. None of that has anything to do with you and it is unfathomable why you would consider even for a femtosecond that i could possibly care about your precious little appraisal of my purchases. Why do *you* have to keep putting food and water and air into your stupid empty skull just so you can survive to find another empty skulled primate to bone and make another tinier empty skulled primate? Posted by: NaCly Dog" That's a good thing. I hope he campaigns for Trump. The only way DJT can win is by having such a blowout that he overcomes all the cheating. Sure that means riots and chaos if he tries to take office, but sometimes some chaos is good. I'll take it over the alternative. If Trump does not overcome though, this country is doomed. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has recently taken significant action by demanding the release of machine audit logs, aiming to address the growing concerns over the adjudication of ‘blank ballots’ in the state’s elections, Creative Destruction Media (CDM) reported.
A notable example occurred in Broward County, FL, during the 2020 elections, where up to 20% of ballots in some precincts were marked ‘blank.’ Thats how the stole the election here in Harris county Judge race. What DevOps was supposed to was fuse development and operations teams into a single unit, breaking down the traditional barriers between them. What it's actually done is convince software engineering teams that developers know anything at all about computers, so they fired all their operations staff. And now you get things like software teams spinning up internal business VMs on public IPs. Posted by: Daniel Ream at January 16, 2024 09:46 AM (/0tPK) 240
