The savage, humanity-destroying principles of the left demand that Man must be beaten down into his* constituent parts: his race; his religion; his class; his sex. Of course, love of country and pride in a shared culture are destroyed, and the country is ripe for the picking by any expansionist movement that has a shared culture, ideals and goals. You know...like Islam.
So while we build a country filled with drones, dedicated only to themselves as a pressure group or government charity recipient, our borders are being overrun with a far more focused political philosophy; one that is dedicated to our destruction.

President Joe Biden's Department of Veterans Affairs is offering race-based training programs and workshops that exclude white veterans—programs that one legal expert says are "of dubious constitutionality and legality." The programs are taking place in at least four states, a Washington Free Beacon review of online offerings found. In Battle Creek, Mich., for example, the VA offers a "BIPOC Support Group," an "8-week curriculum designed to provide support for Veterans that identify as people of color/BIPOC, or as multiracial or biracial," according to a program description. The Battle Creek VA also offers a "Race-Based Stress/Trauma and Empowerment" program, a "weekly group, tailored to our Veterans of color, to address race-based stress and trauma in a safe and validating environment."It's the same drum they have been beating for generations...the politics of victim-hood! No longer does the concept of equality of opportunity exist in our federal government. In fact, equality itself is being carefully rejected as an antiquated and destructive ideal. That quaint and anachronistic Declaration Of Independence is no longer the governing document of our desires as a people...as a culture...as a country.

Michael Cohen apparently wants a reality show but, if his testimony Monday is any indication, reality is about to sink in for not just Cohen but the prosecutors and the court. In stoking interest in his own appearance, the former Trump counsel promised the public that they should be “prepared to be surprised.” Thus far, however, Cohen has offered nothing new and, more importantly, nothing to make the case for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. . . . . . With the prosecution’s case almost over, Bragg needed Cohen to clearly state that Trump intentionally committed fraud to conceal some still poorly defined crime. The problem is that Cohen only confirmed that Trump knew he was going to pay for the nondisclosure agreement and that it would be buried before the election. None of that is unlawful. On his reality show promo, Cohen tells viewers that he is now there to fix their problems because “the little guy doesn’t usually have access to people with my particular set of skills. ”Those skills seem to have escaped all of the witnesses who were compelled to work with him. Witnesses detailed how Cohen was ridiculed as someone “prone to exaggeration” and unprofessional. . . . . . Absent a sudden epiphany in his final testimony on Tuesday, Merchan should rule in favor of a directed verdict — that is, throwing the case out before it goes to a jury. If he instead sends this farcical case to the jury, it is Merchan, not Cohen, who may have a better claim to a reality show as the ultimate “Fix It Man.”I will give Turley credit for that last paragraph. He is a brilliant legal scholar but sadly he, like Alan Dershowitz and others, still believe we are living in a country where, flawed as our legal system was, is still the best/fairest that the world has ever seen and justice will prevail. The sad truth of the matter is if that were still the case, this pornographic farce of banana-republicanism would never have happened in the first place. Ditto the other show trials Trump is facing. Does Turley actually believe that a NYC jury is going to acquit Trump or that Merchan, whose fangs dripping with nitric acid have been bared against Trump from the get-go is going to throw this case out? Meh, why should I hammer away at a decent guy like Turley? He's merely trying not to have a complete breakdown by realizing the profession and cause he devoted his entire life to is now a farce. In a mirror universe way, it's why Merchan and all the others are going all out to destroy Trump and by extension all of us. They are true believers in every sense of the word that what they are doing is absolutely justified to save "our precious democracy." For them to actually follow the very same law in the same way that Turley has tried all his life would create an equal if not opposite crisis of conscience that Turley faces by letting the scales fall from his eyes. It'd be a fascinating Beale vs Loki situation were it not for the fact that it has such dire and direct consequences on every one of us. In the "having one's head shoved so far up their alimentary canal they can see light from their own nostrils" category, we have another entry from the floundering ship that is The American Conservative these days:

But I believe in defending their right to protest legally just as much. Makes for some uncomfortable times, but it’s the thought that counts. Universities like Columbia, which accept pubic funds, are avoiding the 1A by claiming their protesting students are trespassing or violating school Codes of Ethics that specify time, place, and manner of protests. Whether the latter would stand up in court is an open question. There is no legal or other justification for banning speech based on who it may offend or threaten; in fact, quite the opposite. Wendell Holmes declared a “marketplace of ideas”—all ideas, not just popular ones. Free speech is messy as hell, but it is our essential defense against fascism, whether from the left or the right. Even in the week before finals.Bravo, Peter Van Buren, for a fairly rational, cogent, point by point argument. And bonus points for your nice "bonus" shot at Trump, despite the fact what you said about his "inciting" the J-6 crowd, and even the nature of that crowd, is complete bullshit. But seriously, given everything we know about cancel culture and our own government colluding with media to actively silence all voices of opposition and prosecute parents at school board meetings among many other things, do you really expect us to believe that you believe we have a level playing field where all opinions are welcome? Give me a fucking break. The title of the above quoted drivel, "Free Speech Still Applies at Universities" is the giveaway. As a palate cleanser, there's no one better than Daniel Greenfield:
After weeks in which college students at campuses from Columbia to Harvard to UCLA celebrated murders and rapes, waved the flags of Islamic terrorist organizations and assaulted Jewish people, one student has finally been held accountable. The student, a frat brother at University of Mississippi, was a counterprotester who allegedly mocked a pro-terror student as “Lizzo” and made sounds some thought resembled a monkey. While no amount of calls for the destruction of America or assaults on Jewish students led to any outrage in the media or actual consequences (including Khymani James, a leader of the Columbia University encampment who talked to university officials about killing Jews), the incident at a decidedly non-Ivy school has actually generated outrage and consequences. Knocking a Jewish female UCLA student unconscious didn’t do it. Barring Jewish students from being able to go to their classes didn’t do it. Assaulting staff members and faculty at universities didn’t do it. But call a fat black female activist Lizzo” and it’s an instant nationwide outrage. . . . . . No university would tolerate a KKK rally on its premises. When racists marched at the University of Virginia, it was a national outrage, but when UVA recently cleared an encampment of Hamas supporters, the president felt the need to offer multiple apologies to the terrorist supporters. The terrorist rallies are not protected because of free speech, but because the Left backs them. Even while defending the Hamas encampments, universities and the media have taken every opportunity to criminalize and punish opponents and counter-protesters. Whether it was assistant professor Shai Davidai being banned from the Columbia campus, Yale spending a year investigating Evan Morris, a Jewish engineering professor, for signing a letter condemning campus antisemitism, or blaming UCLA Jewish counterprotesters for fighting back against violent assaults by Hamas supporters or the Ole Miss incident, there’s a consistent pattern of harassing, penalizing and demonizing anyone who gets in the way of the Hamas supporters. That’s not free speech either. . . . . . Now the unfortunate former frat brother at ‘Ole Miss’ is the latest national villain because it allows the media to distort the conflict between Jewish students and Hamas supporters in the Ivies into a more familiar story about a showdown between Southern racists and black people. While the story of the frat brother was covered by every major national media outlet, the story of Eleanor Saghian, a Jewish UCLA student who was knocked unconscious, only appeared on FOX News. Milagro Jones, a formerly homeless non-Jewish UCLA student who was mistakenly assaulted by Hamas supporters, was likewise only able to tell his story to FOX News. The perpetrators of the assaults have not been suspended or expelled from campus. If Hamas supporters violently assault students, the national media will boycott the story, but if a counterprotester insults a Hamas supporter, the media will make sure it’s front page news.Meanwhile, we have this garbage. Not from a cave in the Tora Bora hinterlands. But from right here in the good old US of A! In Miami of all places.

No doubt named after that most stylish of Muslim sartorial perfections that goes Ka-bloo-ee in Israeli pizzerias, London tube stations, German nightclubs and US Marine barracks, right? Funny how Jews are worse than Nazis who managed to annihilate two thirds of Europe's Jews, and who Hamas has emulated since forever in trying to achieve the same not just in Israel but all over the world. Which is funny given their constant yammering that the Holocaust was a myth. Also, referring to him as a "radical Islamist" is a redundancy given the nature of Islam itself. He's a Muslim. Period. Is this protected speech Mr. Van Buren? Well, okay. But I double dog dare you or anyone else to set up a sound truck and blast "Hava Nagila" in front of his mosque or set up a barbecue and do a pork roast during Ramadan and see what happens. You'll be indicted by Alvin Bragg 34 times. One for each piece of your desecrated body they can find after scraping up the rest of you from the pavement. Meh. At some point, when sharia rules from "the river to the sea" – that is from the Hudson to the Pacific – this conversation will be moot. Or impossible due to our tongues having been cut out.

She bakes cookies for the reporters! Oh, what a sweetie!Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has a new book out and, unfortunately for her, it is already in need of a correction. Ironically, Psaki chose a story about Joe Biden looking at this watch during a ceremony for US soldiers killed in Afghanistan as an example of media misinformation. But it turns out her book is the actual misinformation and it will need to be corrected.She is indirectly defaming the Gold Star Families who spoke about Biden's watch-checking as liars, and they've informed this rottencrotch bitch that she should lawyer up.
Advertisement The backstory here is the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan which resulted in 13 dead soldiers. In August of 2021, Biden attended a "dignified transfer" ceremony at Dover Air Force Base where the bodies of the soldiers were taken off a plane in coffins draped in the American flag. But for some reason, President Biden kept checking his watch during the ceremony, making it look like he had more important places to be. Now, Psaki is claiming that never happened.There were indeed claims that Biden had only checked his watch after the ceremony but fact-checks at the time found that wasn't true.
Driving the news: In her new book "Say More," Psaki writes that "the president looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended. Moments later, he and the First Lady headed toward their car." Psaki, now a star anchor at MSNBC who has described herself as a journalist, writes that Biden's critics were engaged in "misinformation" and used the image to make "him appear insensitive, concerned only about how much time had passed."
Associated Press photos taken 10 minutes apart show Biden checking his watch during the ceremony. Another photo from the Agence France-Presse, distributed by Getty Images, also shows Biden glancing at his watch, although it's unclear what time the image was taken... Biden did check his watch at least three times, according to photos and video reviewed by USA TODAY. Several family members of fallen service members who attended the ceremony have criticized Biden for checking his watch.
Mark Schmitz, whose son Jared was one of the 13 American service members killed in Afghanistan on August 26th, 2021, told Townhall that Psaki "will be hearing from our attorney, [and] so will her publisher...to the fullest extent of the law," adding that "what she wrote was absolutely disgusting and clearly only for political and financial gain at the expense of grieving Gold Star families." According to Axios's Alex Thompson, who had the misfortune of reading at least parts of her book, Psaki falsely claimed that it was "misinformation" for the Gold Star families and their supporters to claim that Biden checked his watch as their loved ones' remains returned to American soil. "The president looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended. Moments later, he and the First Lady headed toward their car," Psaki falsely claimed. She, of course, was not on the tarmac -- and the Gold Star families who were held nothing back in the aftermath of her book release. "Her useless a** wasn't even there. We were," Schmitz added of the incident when Biden had "half the families rushing across the tarmac to pound the s**t out of him." It's particularly cruel for Psaki "to publish this right before Mother's Day," Schmitz said.Without confessing her error, Psaki says the book's next printing will delete any mention of how many times Biden checked his watch. The Gold Star Families say: That's not enough. You'll be hearing from our attorneys.
Following Thompson's story, Psaki caved to reality and said that the "detail in a few lines of the book about the exact number of times he looked at his watch will be removed in future reprints and the ebook." Importantly, however, she knew prior to the article's publication that she lied -- and presumably had no plans to correct the record -- until she was lit up for it. Congressman Derrick Van Orden (R-WI), himself a former Navy SEAL, called her "Madam Goebbels" for her shameless lying. For Darin Hoover, the Gold Star father of Taylor Hoover, those changes are insufficient. "In the age of cancel culture, she needs to be canceled," he told Townhall. "She's trying to rewrite history and make money off of our kids' backs and their legacy and we will not stand for it. I'm calling on NBC, MSNBC, and Simon and Schuster, the publishers, to terminate Psaki for those lies."Remember, lefties claim the right peddles "disinformation" while the left, when it makes a rare "error," immediately corrects that error. Do you Psaki correcting her "error" here? No. She's merely going to "compromise" and not keep on repeating the lie. At least, until the pressure's off, then she will repeat the lie again. This is the same thing the left did with the "hands up, don't shoot" lie. They peddled that lie for months. Then Obama's own partisan DOJ admitted this was all a lie, and without retracting their previous lies, the leftwing media simply stopped repeating "hands up, don't shoot." For a while. And then, when the cooling-off period was over, they began saying "hands up, don't shoot" as part of their anti-civilizational revolutionary rhetoric again. It's the same thing they do with all of their lies. When the lies are proven, they briefly put the lie into a cool-off period. And then, a year later: They just start repeating the lie all over again.

But Merrick Garland didn't want Jack Smith to have to answer questions about his past and his politics so he merely hired him as an employee, not an "officer" of the US.The liberal news media is full of false stories about how Judge Aileen Cannon of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida has delayed former President Donald Trump's trial unnecessarily for allegedly mishandling classified documents. But, in fact, the Biden Administration and its Attorney General, Merrick Garland, are themselves to blame for the current delay. Special Counsel Jack Smith claims to be an inferior officer of the United States, but in fact he holds no such office. Smith is a mere employee of the Department of Justice, and he lacks the power to initiate prosecutions. Lucia v. Securities and Exchange Commission, 585 U.S. __ (201This'll be interesting. If she disqualifies him, then the Democrat partisan judge in DC will have to at least hold a similar hearing. If there's a conflict between their rulings, presumably an appeals court will then have to hear the matter to resolve which judge is right.holds that only officers of the United States can take actions that affect the life, liberty, and property of citizens. Judge Cannon has asked for oral argument on June 21, 2024 on former President Donald Trump's motion to dismiss Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment on the ground that Smith was unconstitutionally appointed to his current job because he is not an inferior officer. Washington, D.C. super-lawyer, Gene Schaerr, has filed an amicus brief in United States v. Trump on behalf of former Attorney Generals Edwin Meese III and Michael B. Mukasey, as well as me and Professor Gary Lawson, arguing that Jack Smith was unconstitutionally appointed to be an inferior officer, and Judge Cannon has asked Gene Schaerr to participate in the oral argument, which he has agreed to do. The Appointment Clause of Article II, Section 2 provides that: "the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments." Jack Smith claims to be an inferior officer of the United States appointed by the Head of the Justice Department, but he is instead a mere employee.

Actor Steve Buscemi was assaulted in a random act of violence in Mid-Town Manhattan, New York City over the weekend. The New York Police Department is currently on the hunt for the unidentified attacker.
Steve Buscemi, a beloved figure in New York and a former firefighter, was the victim of a random act of violence on Wednesday. The assault occurred just before noon in midtown Manhattan, leaving the actor with injuries to his left eye. Buscemi was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His publicist confirmed the incident, expressing sadness for all victims of such random acts of violence in the city. The New York Police Department issued a statement on the assault, without naming Buscemi as the victim. They released surveillance photos of the alleged attacker, who was last seen wearing a baseball hat, blue t-shirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers. The photos also showed the bearded man carrying a backpack. The attacker remains unidentified and the police are actively searching for him.
This is a racial hate attack, but not only will it not be charged that way, but the media will not even report on it.

NYT Poll Shows Trump Leading In Five Swing States; Trump Draws 100,000+ in Rally In Democratic New Jersey
I know a lot of you are bored by polls, but let me just do this slumpbuster to get started with the week.
Biden clings to a 1 point lead in Michiganistan. I believe Trump's path to victory consists of winning NC, GA, and AZ, and then winning one of WI, PA, and MI. So if the results in this poll were the real results of voting, Trump would win. MXMNews:

Surveys conducted across six states--Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin--involved 4,097 registered voters. Both 18-to-29-year-olds and Hispanic voters, who predominantly supported Biden in 2020, now show divided loyalties, closely split between the two candidates. THE MORNING RANT: Recycling Wind Turbine Blades, or Recirculating Money from Suckers?
The blades were brought here by Global Fiberglass Solutions, a company based in Washington State that announced in 2017 its intention to recycle blades from wind farms across the region. Instead of ending up in landfills, they would be ground up into a reusable material that could be turned into pallets, railroad ties, or flooring panels. Global Fiberglass is one of a few companies attempting to develop a viable business from recycling blades.Global Fiberglass Solutions actually hit on a clever business model for this era – getting paid by those who want to claim they are engaged in the green act of “recycling.” Of course, there was the ethical problem that Global Fiberglass didn’t actually recycle the blades. But they got paid handsomely to haul the blades away with the promise of recycling them. Those paying Global Fiberglass could virtuously claim to have “recycled” their spent turbine blades. Unfortunately for residents of Sweetwater, the blades were simply dumped and abandoned in their town.
Some paid Global Fiberglass to remove the older blades and haul them away. The company set up shop in an empty industrial facility in Sweetwater that was once an aluminum recycling plant, but Don Lilly, the managing director of Global Fiberglass, told me that only a handful of blades have ever been ground up there. He said the company was close to ramping up and would soon mill the blades into pieces the size of coarse sand. “The blade material is sold,” he said, “but I can’t go into that part yet.”“Close to ramping up…” How many suckers have heard that line as they “invest” in a revolutionary new technology?

It looks like Joe Biden's betrayal of Israel is worse than we thought. According to a new report, Joe Biden has been withholding intelligence from Israel regarding the whereabouts of Hamas leaders and their underground command tunnels. "The Biden [junta], working urgently to stave off a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, is offering Israel valuable assistance if it holds back, including sensitive intelligence to help the Israeli military pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders and find the group’s hidden tunnels, according to four people familiar with the U.S. offers," reports the Washington Post.Well, the answer is quite simply that Israel is no longer our ally. That is "we" are no longer Israel's ally. By "we" and "our" I of course mean the illegitimate junta that stole the 2020 election and controls the instrumentalities of the US government. The bitter irony here is that in taking the Hamas line that Israel is committing mass war crimes by supposed indiscriminate bombing of civilians/non-combatants (which in this case are as fictional as the concept of "Palestine" itself), by withholding of smart weapons that have the ability take out targets while avoiding collateral damage, they force the Israelis to both use dumb bombs and artillery that will no doubt cause collateral damage and casualties while at the same time putting unnecessary risks on the IDF to go out of their way to try and avoid said damages. Of course, both of those things are bonuses to the Junta and the Muslims. And ditto by withholding intel on capturing or taking out the Hamas leadership. The aim is to preserve Hamas and in doing so, further the goal of supplanting Israel with Hamas' real leaders, Iran, as the main powerbroker in the region. Whatever one thinks of Netanyahu as Israel's PM, vis a vis his tenure before 10/7 and perhaps his military's failures in preventing or mitigating the initial assault on that day, the one thing Biden and company have done by their actions is to have to the greatest extent in many years united the disparate factions in Israel to rally around Bibi and demand that Hamas be wiped out, regardless of international opinion. No doubt, this is exactly what will be done, regardless of embargoes of arms, materiel and intel. And with the US election looming and public opinion against the on-campus pogroms against American Jews turning off large swathes of the electorate, Biden might be backtracking or likely trying to give the appearance of backtracking. As the link indicates, per WaPo the intel about the location of Hamas leadership was contingent on Israel scaling back or even stopping short of the final assault on Rafah. Well, what would be the point of that? It's ludicrous as the Israelis know full well. My only hope is that when, not if, Israel can wipe out the last vestiges of Hamas that it takes over total control of every aspect of life in that shit hole, especially the schools, media and if possible the mosques. That last sentence is also highly significant for the situation here in this country. But I digress. UPDATE: Interesting and actually alarming observation from commenter People's Hippo Voice:[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden and his senior aides have been making such offers over the last several weeks in hopes they will persuade Israel to conduct a more limited and targeted operation in the southern Gaza city, where some 1.3 million Palestinians are sheltering after fleeing there from other parts of Gaza under Israeli orders. Israel has vowed to go into Rafah with “extreme force,” and this week Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took a number of steps that raised fears at the White House that the long-promised invasion could be materializing.When you read between the lines, it's quite clear that the Biden [junta] is protecting Hamas, is actively withholding information that could bring this war to an end, and is now using vital intelligence as leverage to prevent Israel from conducting an operation Biden doesn't want them to conduct. Any intelligence that can help pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders or uncover their terror tunnels should have been promptly shared with Israel. Holding back such critical information is unacceptable, puts Israeli lives at risk, and prolongs the war. Why wasn't this information immediately shared with Israel when it was first uncovered? Why would Joe Biden protect Hamas terrorists at the expense of our ally, Israel?
The only way the US could have better intelligence than Israel on the location of the tunnels and the leaders of Hamas is if we have agents cooperating and aiding Hamas. High level members of Hamas. The revelation was bigger than withholding vital intel: It revealed our State Department is directly paying salaries of known, admitted terrorists.On a completely different front, that is the persecution by prosecution of Donald Trump, this hideous effrontery and debasement of the concepts of equal justice under a just and stable law has done the exact opposite of what was intended. Every second the name Trump is mentioned or his picture appears on the screen of the propaganda house organs is in effect an in-kind contribution to his re-election campaign.
People who have killed innocent Israelis. Think on that for a bit.

It is reminiscent of 2016 when he was financially outgunned by his adversaries but ended up with more media coverage. His Wildwood rally went ahead Saturday in front of a whopping crowd of more than 100,000 attendees, according to official estimates, and proved to be an extended version of his courtroom diatribes, with bonus impersonations of Biden. Of course, the big crowds and the earned media bonanza reflect the fact that Trump is a consummate entertainer who puts on a free show. But 2020 showed that crowd numbers are no guarantee of electoral victory. The hard work is still to be done in the swing states. Overshadowing the unexpected upside of his courtroom travails is the fact that, while the media spotlight is fixed on Trump in New York, Democratic governors in the crucial battlegrounds of Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona and Pennsylvania are quietly using their powers to tilt the playing field in favor of Biden.The estimable Miranda Devine certainly puts things in proper perspective with that last statement. Of course, there is a critical difference between now and four years ago. We have all had to endure among the worst three years of our history perhaps since the Great Depression and even the Civil War. We've seen our economy, way of life, sense of security and safety, sense of normalcy and sanity evaporate, and the threat of global war and terrorism hitting us where we live brought to life from where they were kept sequestered for the most part, relegated only to our worst nightmares. If this election is indeed stolen as it was in 2020, those who either were unaware of the theft or perhaps even secretly or not so secretly cheered it are whistling a very different tune today. Quite a large number of those who may not still vote for Trump will sit this one out. And there might be a significant portion who do in fact pull the lever for Trump or in this case against Biden. A theft which given everything going on would have to be even more massive and in your face will be obvious. It might not mean anything in terms of typical electoral politics going forward, but I assert that that no longer exists since the republic and the societal glue and culture that we had in common has all but been erased. What happens after that is anyone's guess. Civil war, unrest, strife, national divorce? Or some kind of national revival with another iteration of the American experiment? That would mean the complete vanquishing of the party, people and systems that took 100 or so years to bring us to this point. And if that happens, it's not going to be pretty.

First, everything is no longer covered with yellow pollen. Second, I can get through most days without some form of allergy med. Third, this is the month in 1942 that changed the course of the Pacific War. It was not the minutely, exhaustively researched, and reproduced Battle for Midway, which was admittedly an even greater event. That’s next month. I refer to the Battle of the Coral Sea that was fought from April 29 (or May 04) to May 8, 1942.

The Battle of the Coral Sea was the first time since the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that the enemy’s seemingly relentless advance into the Pacific was checked. It was also the first major U.S. Navy fleet action against Japan and the first naval engagement in history in which the participating ships never sighted or fired directly at each other.
