Two kindergarteners were critically wounded when Glenn Litton, a monster with a long criminal record and apparent delusions, tricked his way into the school and then opened fire in a small California town. Glenn Litton lied to gain access to the Feather River Seventh-Day Adventists school by claiming to be the grandfather of a prospective student before opening fire on the children. The gunman wrote in a note that the shootings of children were “carried out countermeasure in necessitated response to America’s involvement with genocide and oppression of Palestinians along with attacks towards Yemen.” The media emphasizes that Litton was mentally ill and I’m sure his sense of reality was probably none too grounded, but the note also makes it clear that he had been feeding off pro-terrorist propaganda on social media probably supplemented by media coverage. Even apart from his recent support for Islamic terrorism, Litton was a poster boy for California’s revolving door criminal justice system.Well, if I were say Joe Scarborough (God-forbid!), I'd say he'd have to be mentally ill. He should've shot up a synagogue. After all Netanyahu and his pal Trump are both literally Hitler. Doing this only gives Trump a talking point with which to attack us, the good guys, the defenders of our precious democracy! This happened on the heels of what looks to my non-Kojak eyes as a targeted hit on the CEO of United Healthcare.
Hours after the killing, the NYPD held a press conference and made clear they believe the killing was targeted not random. NYPD Chief of Detectives Joe Kenny pointed out that the suspect was wearing a “distinctive gray backpack,” black face mask, light brown jacket, and black and white sneakers. He said the suspect “[ignored] numerous other pedestrians,” approached Thompson from behind, and shot him in the back. Breitbart News noted the suspect in Wednesday’s killing of Thompson allegedly left a message on shell casings which consisted of the words “Defend,” “Deny,” “Depose.”There are reports that Thompson and other board members are under investigation for insider trading and other major frauds but given the nature of the aforementioned evidence at the scene, and the anti-capitalism of lefties is more likely what triggered this shooting or that the shooter had a personal grudge against the company. When these things elicit public expressions of glee from such psychos as Taylor Lorenz who has been experiencing her first episode of mittleschmerz for almost40 years, with no signs of stopping. Her near orgasmic glee at the gunning down of this man, and of course the two attempts on Trump just tells you everything you need to know about the Left.
The sick irony here is that the insurance industry, like much of the healthcare industry was essentially completely devoured by the US government with the passage of Obamacare in 2010. So that only compounded their inherent, and primarily government-caused flaws prior to that date, via the vast bureaucratic garbage that lines the pockets of politicians, bureaucrats and go-along-to-get-along C-suite denizens in the aforementioned industries along with of course Big Pharma. Here's your fascism, Leftists, right here! Get it while it's hot. Pro-tip, it's not Trump. It's Democrats and RINOs pointing the gun of big government power at the head of business and forcing them in bed with them. Sadly, some don't need the threat and are eager to play the part of Alfred Krupp to the real literal Hitlers in this re-enactment of pre-1933 election Germany.
In part, Trump's agenda is the dismantling of this hideous, ravenous, gluttonous beast that is sucking the life, freedom and prosperity out of every honest, hard-working decent American. And to our great misfortune, the GOP-E is part of that multi-headed hydra and is working as hard as the Democrats to derail any chance Trump has of ending their reign of terror, error and venality at the public trough. The key to that of course is derailing his cabinet nominees, among them some of his staunchest allies, not merely personal, but in terms of policy and politics, such as Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel.
Disposing of Collins, Murkowski, and every other miserable bastard RINO in both chambers of Congress should be considered crucial to draining the swamp, every bit as much as legislatively and via starving the bureaucracies of funds so they cannot continue their mission to preserve protect and defend the 100-year counter American Revolution. Here's a very compelling essay from author D. Parker, at American Thinker. Can't disagree with a single thing. Yet like so many other authors, myself included, his title leaves us hanging on: "Burying Communism For Good." The multi-trillion dollar and multi-score million victims question gentle reader is of course "HOW?!" As we have seen with the Left, its willingness and zeal with which it embraces political violence in order to advance its agenda of dissolution and destruction for total control (ditto their allies of convenience in Islam) Remember, Billy Ayers, Barack Obama's neighbor, benefactor and political mentor/booster once claimed that when he Ayers an his band of Weatherman overthrew the US government, they would likely have to round up and liquidate upwards of 25 million dead-ender Americans who would refuse to bow down and submit to their new new-order, who Obama later referred to as "bitter clingers"
Force is the primary differentiating factor between communistic (or whatever) systems and those based on economic liberty. It's the only way those systems can work, and it’s the reason they need to finally be on the ash heap of history. Because in the 400 years of failure from the concepts that ‘have never really been tried before’ billions of people have been oppressed, and untold millions (we know that at least over 100 million) have been thrown into cattle cars, shipped to concentration camps and gulags, and murdered. It's been 400 years of running the same experiment on something that “has never really been tried before” — over and over, in every country, and under every possible condition, and it’s failed to work every time. The result has been misery and mass murder. Experiments where a country has been divided, with economic liberty on one side, and socialistic slavery on the other. Where you could easily see which side was free by looking at which side of the wall had graffiti, and which side had anti-personnel mines with trip wires so sensitive that they needed an extra wire so birds wouldn’t set them off. It’s more than obvious that we must be rid of these ideologies, humanity can no longer afford their cost in lives and liberty. As I commented at the end of the headline in the link: In order to bury Communism for good . . . We are probably going to have to literally bury several millions of Leftists to do it. What they have always had in mind for us. It's not pretty, but the truth seldom is. Please note, I am NOT condoning anyone commit any unprovoked act of violence. But unless there is some non-violent and legal way to deprogram at least a third of the population and wrest control of Academia and the media for at least the next 50 years. Things are going to get ugly. As if you think they're ugly now! Thanks and have a great weekend. And remember Pearl Harbor tomorrow, on the 83rd anniversary of the attack. And if you can, please do hit the tip jar, linked below. For those of you who have, your support is appreciated beyond words.

Sorry, that headline is confusing but it's hard to put in a headline.
At the 9/11 Memorial this year, Ron Rowe was photographed standing right next to Biden. You might think, "Well he's the head of the Secret Service. So what?" Well, Ron Rowe is not an agent, he's a bureaucrat. The actual agent in charge of protecting Biden -- the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of his protective detail -- is supposed to stand next to the protectee. Rowe pushed the actual agent in charge of using his body to protect the president so that he could stand next to him during a photo op. Right out in public, in the middle of NYC. When asked why he would take such a dangerous and self-serving action, Rowe exploded in rage, claiming that he was somehow involved in the clean-up after 9/11, and sifted through "the ashes" or whatever. I don't believe him. His whole performance is theatrical. He keeps shouting "don't politicize 9/11!!!" to avoid answering the simple and quite reasonable question: Why did you do this?Susan Crabtree
@susancrabtree Fiery clash between Acting Secret Service Director Ron Rowe and Rep. Pat Fallon at the House Task Force on the Assassination Attempt Against Donald Trump: Rowe bellows that he shouldn't have to answer Fallon's questions about why he was standing next to Pres. Biden, not the head of Biden's detail, which is standard operating procedure, at a 9/11 ceremony in New York. "That is the day where we remember the more than 3000 people that have died on 9/11. I actually responded to Ground Zero," Rowe yelled. "I was there going through the ashes of the World Trade Center. I was there." Fallon: "I'm not asking that..." Rowe angrily interjects, accusing Fallon of playing politics with 9/11, for being out of line, and for being "a bully" by asking him why he took an agent out of his normal position so that he himself could be in the photo-op. The reason that Ron Rowe is getting so defensive and angry with Fallon's questions about who was next to Pres. Biden during the 9/11 ceremony in New York -- is because he personally switched the positions of normal operating procedure so that he himself could be next to Biden for the optics alone. This caused deep resentment against Rowe within the Secret Service rank and file, according to sources in the Secret Service community who also informed me about this incident. Normal Operating Procedure is to have the Special Agent in Charge of the President's regular detail standing next to him at big security events such as the 9/11 ceremony. The reason for this is because that's the person who regularly protects the president and is operationally up to speed and fully trained.

The "Defending Democracy" Media Has No Comment, Sees No Reason to Condemn

Prof ZenkusHis X bio:
@anthonyzenkus
BREAKING: Over 1 million Americans assassinated by the private healthcare cabal over the past 10 years. Reactions in DC on both sides of the political aisle range from disinterest to being completely fine with it.
Prof Zenkus
@anthonyzenkus
I will mourn the death of one man after I finish morning the deaths of the more than 1 million other people who have died in the past 10 years alone because of private health insurance. It may take a while.
Prof Zenkus"Anti-violence." The left means they're anti-violence against the left. They never stop committing and justifying violence against their enemies. The whole rotten Etablishment, including the Establishment "right," concedes that the left has an inalienable right to political violence. Compare the GOPe's reaction to January 6th versus its collective shrug over six months of arson, looting, and murder in the "Summer of Love." They don't put these in the same category. The right's violence is unjustified, dangerous, and a threat to the Republic, whereas the left's unceasing violence is just the "voice of the streets." At the risk of being inflammatory: The Establishment "right" often knocks the real right for not taking rightist violence seriously. Well, see if you can follow this logic: We see you constantly excusing and justifying leftist violence, and we have decided we are NOT the second-class citizens you wish to re-caste us as, and if political violence is permissible to the left, then it is permissible to all. It is you in the Establishment who are defending political violence and increasing political violence by continuing to maintain that some political violence, by the groups deemed righteous and deserving, is permitted. Well, we think we're righteous and deserving and I don't accept Bitch McConnell's assertions that I am not. So condemn it all, or condemn none of it. They've chosen "condemn none of it." Fine. We'll walk arm and arm into chaos and strife, then.

The president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides at least since Hunter Biden's conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter. They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table.Jonathan Turley says that Hunter Biden's scorched-earth legal strategy -- suing IRS officials and attacking DOJ prosecutors as crazed political headhunters -- was only enabled by his knowledge that if the scorched-earth tactics failed, Joe had already told him he'd pardon him. Note that lawyers never want to antagonize prosecutors or judges. I was strongly warned against pointing out the clear political bias in my own fake defamation case -- if I said anything publicly about my Obama-appointed DEI judge, he would hold it against me and throw even more bias against me. And yet Hunter Biden went scorched earth against his accusers and prosecutors and the judge who threw out the corrupt amnesty-for-all-crimes plea deals he'd worked out with his leftwing, Biden-friendly prosecutors. Why would he do that? Because, Turley surmises, he got the all-clear from Joe to do it. Either Hunter's scorched-earth tactics would work and the DOJ would offer him something like a deal to do 40 hours of community service in exchange for copping to a trivial charge, or, if this burn-it-all down strategy failed to get the Biden Crime Family out of jail, Joe would just pardon him. It's the only explanation that makes sense. Hunter always knew he had daddy's "pocket pardon" waiting for him. There was no risk in attacking his judges and prosecutors as biased Trump partisans.
That's an important point: Biden is claiming he "honored his promise" of not interfering in the DOJ's decision-making. But that's not what he promised. He promised he would not pardon Hunter, period, full stop, no asterisks.
The most shocking aspect of President Biden pardoning his own son, Hunter, may be that it was not in the least shocking, given the history of the Biden family. This abuse of the pardon power was widely anticipated even by his allies as the president repeatedly denied that he would ever do such a thing as he ran for reelection. Indeed, it may be the single most premeditated unethical act in political history. However, it may not achieve what President Biden most hopes for: a clean slate for his son and himself in this massive corruption scandal. Roughly two years ago, I wrote about how Biden might suddenly withdraw from the presidential race in 2024 and pardon his son as a lame-duck president. "The pardon-and-apology approach might appeal to Biden not only as an effort to convert vice into virtue but to justify his withdrawal from the election as a selfless act," I wrote. I further noted: "Everyone in Washington would win -- except, of course, the public: The Bidens would keep alleged millions in influence-peddling profits; Hunter would not even have to pay his full taxes; members of Congress and the media could avoid taking responsibility for burying the reports of corruption." I wrote about the pardon option repeatedly because none of Hunter's bizarre (and ultimately unsuccessful) criminal defenses made sense unless he felt confident that his father would pardon him in the end. Hunter's taunting Congress with open contempt of a subpoena and his ridiculous defenses in court were not the actions of someone who feared consequences from these investigations. They were the actions of someone with a pocket pardon. NBC is reporting that Hunter's pardon was being discussed in the White House for a long time, even as Biden and his staff were steadfastly denying that he would issue a pardon. As with his years of denying knowledge of Hunter's business dealings and meeting his clients, Biden simply lied over and over again to the public. The eventual pardon restored what was a sweetheart deal reached with Special Counsel David Weiss that would have given Hunter immunity to the immediate charges and any unnamed criminal charges. It collapsed in court when Judge Maryellen Noreika expressed shock at such a deal and asked the prosecutor if he had ever seen such a deal offered to any other defendant. He admitted that he had not. Now, President Biden has recreated an even more sweeping immunity grant through his own powers by pardoning his son not only for the crimes of which he was convicted, but of any crimes committed between Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 1, 2024. Think on that. It would cover anything from perjury to murder. ... In a final show of contempt for the American people, President Biden waited until a Sunday before an international trip to commit this unethical act. He brushed over his past lies by saying that "From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department's decision-making, and I kept my word." What he actually said, over and over again, was that he would never pardon his son.
He's a corrupt liar and I can't wait until he dies a broken, hated man.
The leftwing Democrat media pretended for years that Joe Biden's mental fitness was perfect and that any video showing otherwise was a cheapfake. Then, when their lies were exposed, they suddenly all pretended that they had merely been conned by smooth-talking Joe Biden, the Cicero of Scranton. Chuck Todd is now likewise pretending he really believed Joe Biden when he said he wouldn't pardon the son who was putting aside 10% of his dirty foreign money for him.
Short of such continued investigation, the Bidens will have achieved something that would have made John Gotti blush. They were able to pull in millions of alleged influence-peddling proceeds. Hunter was showered with gifts and benefits, from a diamond to a luxury sports car. Various Biden family members reportedly received money from the operation. President Biden was himself accused of knowledge and possible benefits from the influence peddling. He will also be protected by this official act. This is why I once wrote that the Bidens are the GOATs of influence peddling. While influence peddling is the most common form of corruption in Washington, this city has never seen the likes of the Bidens. The only thing greater than their appetite was their sheer audacity. In this statement on the pardon before fleeing the jurisdiction for a foreign trip, President Biden notably stated that "in trying to break Hunter, they've tried to break me." Indeed, this corruption scandal is as much about the president as it is about his son. And, as the president previously declared, "No one f--- with a Biden."

The citizens of Thornton, Illinois had enough of this hoodrat using their money to buy herself extravagant gifts and vacations, and then using more of their money to bribe people not to blow the whistle on the self-declared "Super-Mayor," so they organized a caucus to determine the candidates for the town council and voted her off the ballot.
Unfortunately, somehow this self-styled "gangsta" holds not one but two top positions, one in Thornton and another in nearby Dolton, and she's only off the Thornton ballot.Given that Thornton is mostly black, at least the ghetto Super-Mayor won't be able to play the race card. Or will it?
THORNTON TOWNSHIP, lll. -- Thirteen months after the first WGN Investigates report on questionable spending by south suburban politician Tiffany Henyard, it appears she has been forced off the ballot. This involves just one of the two elected positions Henyard holds. Now her allies are calling the move illegal and vowing to fight. Henyard didn't even get the chance to speak before the democratic township committeeman dispatched her from the ballot in a simple voice vote Tuesday night. In seconds, the crowd of hundreds sang her out like a ball player who has just struck out.
"This is prime example of puppet masters trying to control the narrative," she said. In an interview before Tuesday’s unusual caucus, Henyard cried foul saying her supporters were stuck outside while backers of the committeeman, Napoleon Harris, gathered inside. Harris is also a state senator who selected himself to run for township supervisor at the top of the democratic ticket. They canceled the primary and reverted to the alternative form of choosing the Democrat nominee, a caucus. It's unusual -- but it's perfectly legal.
In a Dolton town council meeting, the "Super-Mayor" showed up a half hour late with no apology or explanation. Citizens then told her that they were counting down the days until they booted her out of that office as well.
Bill Cadigan is a former state board of elections chairman who says the caucus system is legal in Illinois as is holding multiple elected positions. ... The two south suburban governments Henyard runs have been in chaos since soon after WGN Investigates began reporting on her spending and abrasive leadership style. She and her entourage racked-up more than $100,000 in travel, meals and more. Her namesake cancer charity was shut down for failing to report how it spends money. Even after the FBI served subpoenas in April, the spending continued. One sparsely attended concert cost more than $85,000. Before Tuesday’s defeat, Henyard vowed not to be deterred. "The show will go on," she said. Her team says they’re asking the state's attorney and Illinois Attorney General to investigate the legality of Tuesday's "raucous caucus." Henyard can run as a write-in candidate for township supervisor; but remember she's also facing a big challenge to stay on as the mayor of Dolton.

But Liberal Executives at CBS Told Me They "Weren't Interested" in the Story
We are Real News, Mr. President.
She notes that CBS "News" knew full well the laptop was real and contained emails in which Hunter Biden involved his father in his "business." She also told them that Hunter liked to let rip with the "n-word." CBS "News" said no, we don't want that news. That's not the kind of news CBS "News" publishes. We only publish "news" that bolsters the Democrat Party. (Okay, she doesn't say that, but that is the clear implication.) She also said that she worked to secure a live interview with the very-newsworthy Elon Musk, but CBS "News" kept putting limitations on the interview, insisting that the interview must be taped and edited, not live, because "we don't know what he's going to say." Catherine Herridge laughs and says "That's the whole point of an interview!" And news itself. She said she let the effort to interview him die, because she was too embarrassed to go back to him to tell him that CBS "News" was imposing limits on the interview. It's usually the subject who demands limits, not the "news" organization. When CBS "News" fired her for reporting too much actual news, they took the unprecedented step of seizing all of her personal notes to make sure no one could ever see what she was working on. Only under pressure did CBS "News" relinquish those."If you just look at the fact pattern here, you can see that there was a lot of internal resistance with the Hunter Biden reporting, also special counsel Robert Hur and his findings related to Joe Biden and I was let go. But more importantly, my reporting records were seized and that is just a red line that no corporation should ever cross in the future. And because my union stepped in and there was a lot of public outrage, CBS News did the right thing and they returned those files. But even seizing those files has a chilling effect on investigative reporting."

I kept seeing French news items in my X feed telling me that Emmanuel Macron did not fear a "censure" of the government, and lots of articles talking about the possibility of a "censure."
I didn't understand what the fuss was about. Who cares about a "censure"? Slap on the wrist, right? Well, no. Apparently "censure" is the French term for a vote of no confidence in the government. Which, in a parliamentary system -- in which the government only operates when it has the confidence of the parliament -- brings the whole government down. France has been on shaky ground since Macron called for a snap election some months ago. The National Rally, LePen's "far right" party -- and by "far right," they mean "opposes unlimited immigration from the Arab/Muslim world" -- won the most seats, but fell well short of a majority due to corrupt vote-trading whereby the "center" (really, the neoliberal left) and the far left (communists, greens) agreed to cede elections to each other and vote for each other's candidates, to deny the NR the outright majority win it was expected to take. It worked to keep the NR under a majority. But Macron's "center" party lost a lot of seats, and could only gather a majority of parliament's support by promising all sorts of things to the far left. Note that Macron is the President -- the head of state, as they say -- and the Prime Minister is the head of government. Macron does not need the parliament to stay in his post -- he's up for re-election in 2027, because France has five year terms, because they're stupid and gay -- but his hand-picked PM does need parliament's support. That put this super-minority government -- my term -- at the whim of both the "far right" and the actual far left. This isn't just a minority government, it's a very weak minority government that should not be anything more than a bit-player junior partner in a government. And the bill for the dirty election deal just came due.French lawmakers passed a no-confidence measure against Prime Minister Michel Barnier and his cabinet on Wednesday, sending the country into a fresh spasm of political turmoil that leaves it without a clear path to a new budget and threatens to further jolt financial markets. France's lower house of Parliament passed the measure with 331 votes, well above the majority of 288 votes that were required, after Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally joined moves by the chamber's leftist coalition to oust the government. Mr. Barnier is expected to resign soon. It was the first successful no-confidence vote in France in over 60 years and made Mr. Barnier's three-month-old government the shortest-tenured in the history of France's Fifth Republic. The vote comes at a difficult time for France, which is struggling with high debt and a widening deficit, challenges that have been compounded by two years of flat growth. France's strong backing for Ukraine faces a challenge with the United States' election of Donald J. Trump, and its partner in leading Europe, Germany, is weaker politically and economically than it has been in years. President Emmanuel Macron, the nation's top leader, remains in power but support for him is shaky. His stature has been severely diminished following his surprise decision last summer to call a snap parliamentary election. His party and its allies lost many seats to the far right and the left, competing forces that bitterly oppose him.The Elysée is the French presidential palace. So what comes next? I don't know. Macron will propose a new PM, but this just leads to the same impossible position. His party is the third biggest in the French parliament, after the National Rally and the leftwing coalition, but he insists his third-ranking super-minority power should continue in power. But as he just showed, he cannot work with the far left, and he absolutely refuses, as all other parties refuse, to work with the "far right" National Rally. So a new PM just results in the same problem: Macron insists on remaining in control of government, yet he simply does not have enough seats to do so. I guess he could call another snap election, but I imagine the results will be similar, with the NR taking the most seats, but blocked from taking any part in government because the rest of the parties are attempting to disenfranchise NR voters. If I had to guess, I'd imagine France is going to go full-on extraconstitutional: They'll get some judges to agree that maybe you don't neeeeeed a majority of votes to rule. Everything will be justified by the imperative We will burn democracy down to keep Trump out of office. I mean, "keep LePen out of office," of course. Germany's government just collapsed a few weeks ago.
Mr. Barnier is likely to remain as a caretaker until Mr. Macron names a new prime minister, but France faces weeks of instability, just as it did after the parliamentary vote. Mr. Macron will address the nation at 8 p.m. Thursday local time, according to the Elysée.
Germany's economy has been shrinking for the past two years in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, war in Ukraine and competition from China. Scholz's fractious coalition failed to find a way forward on some key issues. Lindner's Free Democrats had rejected tax increases or changes to Germany's strict self-imposed limits on running up debt. Scholz's Social Democrats and the Greens wanted to see major state investment and rejected the Free Democrats' proposals to cut welfare programs. Donald Trump's imminent return to the White House may be creating new risks for the German economy. He has threatened to slap tariffs of up to 20% on goods from the EU, raising the prospect of a trade war with Washington's European allies. Tariffs would deal a sharp blow to German exports and serve another painful setback to an economy that had long been powered by cheap and plentiful energy from Russia and large export markets.German parties have the same problem France does -- they refuse to cut deals with the "far right" anti-immigration party AfD (Alternative fur Deutchland), which, as with Le Pen's NR, is growing, and so their coalitions are made up of irreconcilably-opposed parties. Germany thinks it has a way out of this problem of voters voting for things they don't think the voters should vote for: they'll just ban the AfD, and then AfD voters will be forced to vote for one of the parties they loathe, and Germany can pretend it's a democratic party while forcing people to vote for one of several unpalatable, unpopular alternatives. France must be considering the same option with the NR. As David Strom notes, Macron's invitation to Trump, to visit the rebuilt Notre Dame, is a desperate strategy to find some support anywhere, even it's not from the actual French populace. Beege Wellborne also notes that Britain is likewise teetering on political collapse, as nearly three million people have signed a petition demanding fresh elections. Meanwhile, in America: We have Trump.

Leftwing agitation never leads to violence, which is why the straight-shooters of the FBI focus all of their attention on 70-year-old grandmothers who posted tweets about the 2020 election being stolen.
I wonder if they mean the shell casings had the words written on them. It seems unlikely these words would be written on bullets, or that the bullets would be intact enough to read these scratches as words.Police investigating the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson found engraved messages on bullets used in the killing. The words, eerily resembling a book title critical of the insurance industry, hint at a possible motive. Key Details: Brian Thompson, 50, was fatally shot outside the Midtown Hilton Hotel on December 4, 2024. NYPD recovered bullets and casings engraved with the words "deny," "depose," and "defend." The suspect used a silenced weapon, fled on an e-bike, and may have left a phone near the crime scene. Diving Deeper: UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was killed in what police are calling a "targeted" assassination outside a luxury Manhattan hotel early Wednesday morning. The 50-year-old executive was ambushed at close range by a masked gunman wielding a silenced firearm. The NYPD discovered a chilling clue among the evidence: live rounds and shell casings engraved with the words "deny," "depose," and "defend." These words closely align with the title of a 2010 book critical of the insurance industry, Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don't Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It. Thompson, who had been CEO of UnitedHealthcare since 2021, was in town to host an investor conference. Surveillance footage shows the suspect waiting outside the Hilton Hotel before firing multiple shots at Thompson, striking his back and leg. The attack continued even as the victim attempted to crawl away. The assassin didn't have his mask on when he was caught on a videocamera at the youth hostel he was presumably staying in.
The NYPD has released new photos of the gunman who shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, 50, on Wednesday outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown. The new images show the suspect's face, which had previously been hidden behind a mask, with the gunman even seen flashing a smile. The photos were taken from an Upper West Side youth hostel where police believe he might have been staying at before the shooting.

Tim PoolMaybe he just shared a room with the killer or something. But if he's an innocent, why does the NYPD have to put out his picture to find him? A non-criminal would presumably have checked into the hostel using, get this, his real name.
@Timcast i dont think this is the shooter. Different backpack Thats why they said person of interest

How much of this has to go on before the federal government declares that California is in a state of insurrection? The new chief of the Los Angeles police force said his department is working with consulate offices for Mexico and other Central American countries to a plan to protect immigrants ahead of the Trump administration’s plans for mass deportations. Rather than protecting residents from illegal alien criminals, Chief Jim McDonnell will work with foreign governments to protect illegal alien criminals from the federal government. . . . . .The department plans to work with the consulates to create and circulate a video explaining their policies to the immigrant community and alleviating their concerns. The primary mission is to arrest criminals. California blocks police officers from handing over illegal alien criminals to federal authorities. The priority for deportation will be illegal alien criminals. That’s whom McDonnell is committed to protecting. And he’s coordinating with foreign governments to inform illegal aliens that the LAPD has their back against the United States government. How many things are wrong with this picture? How many of these would have been tolerated in the 1850s or the 1950s? What will it take to restore the rule of law again to California?Might I suggest, the arrest, trial and conviction for treason and summary execution of traitorous bastards like McDonnell all the way up to that of Gavin Newsom. Pour encourager les autres, so to speak. Note to the Not so verschlossen Geheim Staats-polizei agent McDonnell, did you catch this ruling from your own 9th Circus:
A three-judge panel on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the federal government has the authority to deport illegal immigrants even if local leaders try to impede the process.Well, there's treason and then there's treason:
The Biden junta appears to be working overtime within federal agencies to put labor agreements in place before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January. The agreements are designed to complicate Trump’s stated goal of civil service reform or, as he puts it, purging the deep state. The contract terms can restrict federal agencies’ discretion over employee management. The latest example of the Biden administration implementing this tactic is at the Social Security Administration (SSA). It has already performed or is working toward similar changes at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
While I have no doubt that there are those who work in the civil service conscientiously and are trying to do a "good job," yet not realizing that the agencies they work for have been created in the main to rob the American citizenry of their freedom and the fruits of their labor, regardless of the noble words carved into the marble on the frieze outside the entrance. Bureaucracies exist only to expand in size and power, never to solve the problems they allegedly were formed to address. To do so would lead to their extinction, and the political power of the Left that thrives on blaming America as founded and conservatives for said problems and not funding the agencies in order to combat them. And so it goes, as it has for decades now! There's also the massive amounts of grift, graft and kickbacks from vendors, unions and so forth. Looking past the Democrats, it's also why you have this kind of treason from inside the wire, so to speak:
On Wednesday, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief and “Alex Marlow Show” host Alex Marlow discussed the nomination of Pete Hegseth for defense secretary. Marlow said, “[O]nce they feel like the media can run this coup, this Kavanaugh playbook and take out Hegseth, then they’re going next for Tulsi Gabbard, they’ll go for some Republican saying she’s not Republican enough, they’ll go for Robert Kennedy, they’ll find something nutty he said about his brain worms or something…and then, all of a sudden, we’re going to get the Deep State Cabinet again.”
They're gunning for Trump's picks now to avoid what will be revealed during confirmation hearings:
We are going to hear some outrageous things in the upcoming congressional confirmation hearings. But one thing we will not hear about are the crimes, deceptions, and utter incompetence of prior and current government grandees. The current crew, not their proposed Trump replacements, prompted the sick and tired American people to demand different people. Voters want novel approaches to reform a government that they not only no longer trust but also now deeply fear.
All of a sudden the Democrat Propaganda complex is pushing for Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants to preemptively pardon such criminal vermin as Andrew McCabe, Liz Cheney and the American Mengele Anthony Fauci. Kind of a dumb move. To do so would give the impression he knows they are guilty of something, despite the propaganda spin that it's to protect them from Trump abusing the DOJ to persecute them politically, which would only underscore the truth that that is what was done to him in the first place! This too is to protect the utter criminality and tyranny of the Deep State of which the aforementioned are very much Little Big Eichmanns of. I hope Trump can bring an epic Travis Bickel-esque rain to wash all the scum and filth the hell out of DC and every other corrupted shit-hole statehouse, City Hall and where it all began, classroom and faculty lounge so we can revive and restore what was stolen from us. God Bless and keep Daniel Penny, and send Alvin Bragg and his fellow travelers to the infernal reaches.
Now that would be both restorative, and justice, in the truest sense! Have a great day.

- But the Islamic jihad is not the only holy war going on in America. The much-discussed political and geographical polarization of the United States has evolved from partisan differences into a cultural holy war, with the polarization characterized as good versus evil, and with both sides believing that if the other side is not stopped or reformed, the end of the country is nigh. This has not reached violent civil war, only attempted assassinations of Supreme Court justices and a candidate for the presidency. The struggle has taken place in meetings of school boards, where the boards and school officials represent the extremes of ideology of one party, while the parents of pupils often represent the ideology of the other party. In elections, the candidates of the parties often represent contestants in the cultural dispute.

Sam Altman recently said that AGI was coming within "thousands of days".
He now says it will likely arrive next year, but they'll be simulating the typical leftist who already responds like a low-grade LLM in any case, so you won't notice any difference.
Well, he didn't say that part out loud. He said this:"My guess is we will hit AGI sooner than most people in the world think and it matter much less," he said during an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin at The New York Times DealBook Summit on Wednesday. "And a lot of the safety concerns that we and others expressed actually don't come at the AGI moment. AGI can get built, the world mostly goes on in mostly the same way, things grow faster, but then there is a long continuation from what we call AGI to what we call super intelligence."

Shock: Biden's advisors considering a flurry of pardons for themselves, their cronies, the Biden family -- and Joe Biden himself. Note his advisors are debating this. Where is the vegetable? Politico spins this as Biden's people suddenly moved to defend themselves against Trump's threats. But note that when Biden prosecuted his rival, and when Democrats ran for office promising to prosecute Trump, Politico assured us that all of these decisions were insulated from politics and it was an anti-American, Republic-destroying smear to claim that politics would ever play a part in prosecutions.
President Joe Biden's senior aides are conducting a vigorous internal debate over whether to issue preemptive pardons to a range of current and former public officials who could be targeted with President-elect Donald Trump's return to the White House, according to senior Democrats familiar with the discussions. Biden's aides are deeply concerned about a range of current and former officials who could find themselves facing inquiries and even indictments, a sense of alarm which has only accelerated since Trump last weekend announced the appointment of Kash Patel to lead the FBI. Patel has publicly vowed to pursue Trump's critics. The White House officials, however, are carefully weighing the extraordinary step of handing out blanket pardons to those who've committed no crimes, both because it could suggest impropriety, only fueling Trump's criticisms, and because those offered preemptive pardons may reject them. The deliberations touch on pardoning those currently in office, elected and appointed, as well as former officials who've angered Trump and his loyalists. Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress' Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney "should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!" Also mentioned by Biden's aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic. The West Wing deliberations have been organized by White House counsel Ed Siskel but include a range of other aides, including chief of staff Jeff Zients. The president himself, who was intensely focused on his son's pardon, has not been brought into the broader pardon discussions yet, according to people familiar with the deliberations. The conversations were spurred by Trump's repeated threats and quiet lobbying by congressional Democrats, though not by those seeking pardons themselves. "The beneficiaries know nothing," one well-connected Democrat told me about those who could receive pardons.LOL. The Democrats who are going to get the pardons are already claiming "We know nothing about this, we didn't ask for these pardons." Then, um... how do you know you're on the list? Cat ladies voted for... Harris, it turns out. What a shock.
The lead-up to the 2024 election was all about cat owners -- but in the end, the dogs had their day. President-elect Donald Trump won slightly more than half of voters who own either cats or dogs, with a big assist from dog owners, according to AP VoteCast, a survey of more than 120,000 voters. Dog owners were much more likely to support Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris. Cat owners, meanwhile, were split between the two candidates. About two-thirds of voters said they own a dog or cat, but pet owners don't usually get much attention from politicians. That is, until this year, when then-vice presidential candidate JD Vance's old comments about "childless cat ladies" briefly became a campaign issue -- and Taylor Swift signed her Instagram endorsement of Harris in September as "Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady." Harris did end up decisively winning women who owned a cat but no dog, but those voters were a relatively small slice of the electorate. And pet owners as a whole did not seem to hold Vance's remarks against the GOP ticket.Jemelle Hill, a talentless DEI hire who reports daily on her own racism and rage, has figured out why Kamala Harris lost the election, and the answer may surprise you. Well, not really. It's racism and sexism.
During a recent podcast episode, Hill delivered a scathing critique of the election, noting that she had predicted President-elect Donald Trump's victory. "So clearly, I did see this coming, but I still don't think that makes it any more difficult to accept," she told her viewers. Hill suggested that Harris' treatment in the media and by voters somehow reflects deep-seated societal biases that disadvantage women of color in leadership. She compared Harris' experience to her own professional journey. "Yes, I take the reelection of Donald Trump quite personally because of the person themselves, but also as a Black woman," she explained. "And that is because I think for a lot of Black women, we can relate to Kamala Harris just in the sense of some of us have been in that position before where we felt qualified, if not overqualified in many respects." That's right, folks. Hill believes that she and Harris were "overqualified" for the positions they wanted. More on that later. Hill went on to argue that Harris' loss shows that Americans are unwilling to embrace female leaders -- especially Black, female leaders who wash their collard greens in a bathtub. "For a lot of Black women, even though we should not internalize it this way, it felt like a particular rejection of some of the things that we've been fighting for," she said. Predictably, the podcaster went on to trot out one of the left's favorite narratives: The role misinformation allegedly played in influencing voters' perceptions on the campaign trail. "I think it was particularly evident how racism and misogyny were driving a lot of the coverage, the opinions, and even how the electorate saw Kamala Harris," Hill said.Real Media Outlet Axios, home of the sunken chests and floppy wrists, say the real problem with Biden endlessly lying about the pardon he always intended to grant to Hunter was just that it makes it harder for Democrats to claim "the moral high ground."

The excruciating Ana Navaro, who is an employee in good standing at ABC "News," said that we shouldn't blame Biden for pardoning Hunter because other presidents had pardoned people.
First of all, people are complaining the largest about the remorseless lying, not the pardon itself, which everyone outside the media propaganda bubble said would happen. Biden lied and lied and promised to never pardon Hunter, because he wanted to claim that the DOJ was categorically above criticism in its Trump persecutions, so he lied about his own willingness to accept its decisions. As we now know, thanks to NBC "News's" reporting (this is the story Scott Jennings mentioned the other day), Biden frequently discussed the possibility of pardoning Hunter, including in June of this past summer, while publicly lying and claiming this was an impossibility:Secondly, one of the examples of Famous Presidential Pardons that Noted Journalist Ana Navarro promoted as a fact was that of "Woodrow Wilson's brother-in-law." A man with the unlikely name of, get this, "Hunter deButts." I'm pretty sure that was my old CinemaJuggs sign-in. Hunter deButts is a made-up name like Heywood Jablowmie. This man never existed. Apparently she used ChatGTP for her "research" for The View and ChatGTP is known to sometimes "hallucinate" fictions. I saw someone remark that the creme de la media creme take stupid "research" shortcuts that even the laziest high school burnout would scoff at.
The president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides at least since Hunter Biden's conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter. They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table.

Sean DavisThis looks like a professional job, though this could be an antifa hit.
@seanmdav Targeted assassinations are happening in the middle of New York City, so obviously the city prosecutor is focused on imprisoning a Good Samaritan who had the audacity to protect a train full of people from a nutjob.
The New York City Police Department asked for the public's help in apprehending the unidentified gunman who allegedly shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning, decrying what investigators deemed a "premeditated, pre-planned attack." The Hilton Hotel was hosting the UnitedHealthcare annual investors meeting, and police said Thompson had been in town from Minnesota since Monday and was staying across the street. "It appears the suspect was lying in wait for several minutes, and as the victim was walking to the conference hotel, the suspect approached from behind and fired several rounds, striking the victim at least once in the back and at least once in the right calf," NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a press conference. "Many people passed the suspect, but he appeared to wait for his intended target. The suspect fled first on foot, then on an e-bike, and was last seen in Central Park on Center Drive." The shooting came as tourists flock to the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, which will take place just blocks away from the scene later Wednesday night. A manhunt is underway as the suspect remains at-large. "I want to be clear at this time, every indication is that this was a premeditated, pre-planned and targeted attack," Tisch said. "Millions of people will be enjoying the tree lighting tonight, among other holiday events, and the NYPD will be out there with them, keeping them safe."Here's why I think this might be a leftwing/antifa hit:
Reached by NBC News, Thompson's wife confirmed there had been threats against her husband but said she did not know specifics.People are saying this looks "professional," but I don't know. He is calm enough, but he shot the guy right in front of witnesses. (Yes I know that a Mafia killer might shoot someone in front of witnesses -- I saw The Godfather.) Executing a health care CEO feels like an antifa thing to me. But Chris Wray says that organization doesn't exist, so I must be wrong. He fled the assassination on a bicycle, which is a good way to get away in NYC. You don't want to be stopped in traffic. Get on a bike and ride it to your getaway car parked a mile away.
"There had been some threats," Paulette Thompson told NBC News via a phone call. "Basically, I don't know, a lack of coverage? I don't know details. I just know that he said there were some people that had been threatening him." Police were in the process of conducting a search on Thompson's hotel room to investigate further, Kenny said.
