The Morning Rant

“I love my country, not my government.” - Jesse Ventura

I normally don't quote a former actor wrestler, former Minnesota Governor Libertarian crack pot, Jesse Ventura. However, even a broken clock is right twice a day, I agree with Jesse Ventura 110%.

Dr. FLOTUS Jill Biden is busy accumulating frequent flyer bonus points and living vicariously through President MushHead as fast as life happens. Every lame duck dementia addled 82 year old needs to fly to Africa.

Looks like our bewildered leader could use a cat nap on his own time and not on the world stage.

The "Threat to democracy" has been his entire time as resident of the White House. MushHead, his family, his loved ones and his handlers hated the USA that they just had to run a secret basement campaign in 2020.

While this evil man is busy creating memories he won't remember after his evening pudding cup. The Biden regime openly and without shame display their hatred of American citizens.

Press Release

Today, President Joseph R. Biden announced that the United States is providing more than $1 billion in additional humanitarian assistance to address food insecurity and other urgent needs of refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and affected communities in 31 African countries. This funding, announced during President Biden’s visit to Angola, includes nearly $823 million through USAID – of which more than $202 million is from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Commodity Credit Corporation – and nearly $186 million through the U.S. Department of State.

Do I despise my government because gifting borrowed money to other countries and/or continents? Yes. While the citizens of Africa may need assistance. We cannot afford to borrow money to give it away to non-USA citizens. Residents of the State of North Carolina have been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Glad to see they aren't living in tents or other make shift living quarters.

Screenshot 2024-12-04 at 3.43.10 PM.png

So when someone asks or demands to know why you hate the federal government, you simply mention, Florida, North Carolina and East Palestine, Ohio. Our government enjoys preening on the world stage while its citizens struggle.

And when you are asked why you love your country. You just simply have to say, "Cabins 4 Christ".

After Helene’s rains struck, Thomas Whiteside and his grandson watched a creek near their Black Mountain house rise hundreds of feet in minutes. Had they waited to evacuate, they would have been trapped inside when water reached the windows. Weeks later, Whiteside received a free, temporary shelter on his property from Cabins 4 Christ, a group created to help some of the many people made homeless by Helene. This past week, he received even more news: The group will rebuild his roof for him, free of charge.

The majority of Americans are good, honest, hard working people. They will treat you with respect if you treat them with respect. And the the American people deserve better than what has been coming out of Washington, D.C.

Former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz wrote several social media posts appearing to celebrate UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder while suggesting other executives should also be targeted.

Thompson was shot and killed at close range in midtown Manhattan Wednesday morning, outside the Hilton Hotel. The suspect remains at large.

"And people wonder why we want these executives dead," Lorenz wrote hours later, referencing Thompson’s death in a Bluesky post with a report about Blue Cross Blue Shield no longer covering anesthesia for the full length of some surgeries.

Joseph Biden is one of the best presidents we’ve ever had and an incredibly decent man. I am so tired of people denigrating him.

He has been a beacon of strength and kindness, and pardoning his son only makes me admire him more. Images like this do not help to honor what may be our last good president.

DK opinion that the pardon was a good and right thing to do is a distinct minority opinion. Biden helped Trump and hurt Democrats. The privileged and entitled elitest Biden family is so out of touch, reports are they're surprised by the amount of criticim from fellow Democrats.

80 62 Joseph Biden is one of the best presidents we’ve ever had and an incredibly decent man.

The privileged and entitled elitest Biden family is so out of touch, reports are they're surprised by the amount of criticim from fellow Democrats.

yeah, well, i have my own reasons for hating uhc.

some joker gave them my e-mail address as if it were his own. so whenever uhc wants to tell this character something, i get it instead of him. there's no way for me to tell them to stop it because i'm not him.

this isn't the only time this sort of thing has happened. just last month, some joker in oklahoma bought a car and gave my e-mail address to the dmv. so i know where he lives, when he will get his license plate, and that the dmv is annoyed at him because he never completed the registration process.

i don't know how these jokers stumble on my e-mail address or why they decide to give it to someone as if it were their own. i can identify them because i always give out my address as first.last@gmail.com and these things always come as FIRSTLAST@GMAIL.COM.

If that were the case, society would be MUCH better off. Just look at where we are today, with everyone fighting each other because of who they support and vote for.

Any negative story of a prominent Democrat is obviously false on its face because Democrats are definitionally moral and good. Their desire to help the needy by vigorous government action no matter the cost is emblematic of their morality and decency.

Any story attacking the character of a Democrat is obviously the work of right-leaning New York Times editors who want to elevate Republicans at any cost, even if they have to completely manufacture things like a diary written by Biden's daughter describing sexual abuse, a laptop from his son describing corruption, or video of Biden himself tweaking a 9 year old girl's nipple in a public setting.

100 Willowed conversation about why blue jeans are blue.

Because the originated in the traditional working man's pants were made from fabric originating in of Nimes in France, hence "du Nimes", where they were dyed with Indigo. Indigo was one of the cash crops in colonial times-and was favored for work clothes because it lasted longer without fading than most other natural dyes, an important consideration when clothing was relatively much more expensive.

A parallel but different path led to Brittany dying sailing canvas with oak bark so the tannins would preserve them. This led to "sailing red" or "Nantucket red" pants made from cloth from Brittany.

The modern story that blue jeans were blue because of unique fading rather than gold rush miners who started demanding rugged pants made with Nimes fabric are suspect.

Now whether any fabric uses the actual original dyes today, there is probably a niche, somewhere.

It’s easy to do that with foreign aid. Somewhat harder with domestic spending. Democrats still steal of course. But you can’t just steal $1B out of $1B without someone’s asking questions in NC. In Angola? Super easy barely an inconvenience.

Doesn’t matter if you have Aetna or Blue Cross or United. It’s all the same government plan with different branding.

What United, Aetna, etc do is administer a government run scheme. And it’s very lucrative to administer 1/6 of the economy. That’s why they were all for Obamacare. It’s the sweetest government contract on the planet.

When asked when exactly Ernst called Trump this week to deliver her anti-Hegseth ultimatum, a source in Trump world sighed and said, “It wasn’t just one time.”

“She’s constantly calling and nagging him,” the source said.

Ernst is not working alone in her efforts to tank Hegseth’s nomination, however. Another source added that the Republican senator dispatched Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., over the weekend to nag Trump to ditch Hegseth and replace him by nominating Ernst.

Graham gave credence to the slanderous allegations against Hegseth on Tuesday, telling CBS News he finds the allegations “very disturbing.”

168 I don't know Ron Rosenbaum or his book but that's a dumb theory. Hitler's evil wasn't because he wanted to be Eeeeeevil with a captial E. It was simple hate, ambition and, oddly, a love of country. He was going to make Germany Great Again. And he was going to use Jews as a scapegoat and 'do a service to mankind' by wiping them out.

Pretty standard Socialist overall.
Posted by: Mark Andrew Edwards

I don't think there's really any need to explain Hitler. Frederick the Great, though tolerant of non-Lutheran forms of Christianity, was a Jew-hater. Kaiser Wilhelm was a Jew-hater. Jew-hatred runs throughout Prussian/German history. It's why so many German Jews (Felix Mendelssohn, Karl Marx) came from nominally Christian families whose fathers converted to Christianity to avoid that crap. Hitler was just the culmination of it.

Still recommend Rosenburg's book though. Very informative.

207 #133 I disagree. If Hitler did all that he did for "the country", why the obsession with killing Jews? It would have been far more efficient for the war effort to spend the time elsewhere and/or use Jewish labor to build/maintain things that would have helped the war machine.

Instead, Hitler did what he did. Jordan Peterson theorizes that he did it because his *intention* was to cause mayhem, and not with any serious idea towards global domination.

255 Quick hitz:

As with almost all foreign aid, most of that money will come back to the US (or never leave it). The CCC $ are for US ag producers, much of the other $ will be spent via NGOs, directly or via UN agencies (UNHCR, UNICEF, et al). If it's actually mostly for IDPs and refugees, most of it will get to beneficiaries (there will be "frictional loss" along the way apart from operating costs, ahemm, esp. in Africa, but this is true almost everywhere).

Apparently it's already lost to history that in 1993, the health insurance sector helped kill Hillary's attempt at the current "insurance" disaster, quickly and easily. Lots of wheels turning, but I consider the 100% reversal in institutional positions on this same question, from 1993 to 2010, to be one of the best indicators of American decline.

Things continue to stay spicy in Syria. Hama (big town) falls to rebels, attempted drone attack on Russian main base, first rebel drone activity over Damascus, Chy-nah calls for its citizens in Syria to vamoose.

264 Excellent!

Even IN COUNTRY, if FJB had the federal government bring 80,000 people onboard to civil service during 2023 via "major federal investments such as the Bipartisan Infrastructure," how are they & their agencies going to be maintained in the future?

His & that of his cabinet's antics makes people hate the USA, the American people as a whole for being too American first and self-serving.

Never does it dawn on many that the Rescue America Plan had to rescue not only many multi-employer union pensions but also the U.S. Department of Labor's Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) Multiemployer Insurance Program which covers those private-sector multiemployer defined benefit plans!

And then the taxpayer reward for bailout is that there was little accountability for all of those union pension stabilization deals and payments. How long will that credit last?

The VA is one of the biggest federal Executive Branch agencies and yet veterans need to wait in line to get needed services from private non-profits?

Why is the US covering civil service & pension payments for Ukraine? Why did the B-H admin. run around signing agreements all over the Caribbean, etc.?

I mean, you could have literally said I could have said to you, did Donald Trump say this or did Biden say this? And a lot of people might have said, this is something Trump would say. It's not something we were used to Joe Biden saying about the rule of law and about the justice system. Well, now you have. So forget who started it. If have the leading Democrat in America and the leading Republican America both agreeing on one thing, the Justice Department has been politicized.
