Meta is ending its fact-checking program and lifting restrictions on speech to "restore free expression" across Facebook, Instagram and Meta platforms, admitting its current content moderation practices have "gone too far." "We're going to get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies and restoring free expression on our platforms," Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a video posted Tuesday morning. "More specifically, we're going to get rid of fact-checkers and replace them with Community Notes similar to X, starting in the U.S."In his announcement, posted below the fold, he called out these "fact-checkers" as "too politically biased." Bear in mind these fake "third-party" "fact-checkers" were demanded into existence by the left and the US government under Biden. They needed some supposedly non-governmental third-party censors, and the "fact-checkers" were willed into being through leftwing NGO funding and, yes, government funding. They never existed to check "facts." They existed to provide a figleaf of plausible deniability for government-mandated censors to suppress any information the leftwing government didn't want people to know or speak about.
Meta's chief global affairs officer, Joel Kaplan, joined Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning for an exclusive interview to discuss the changes. "This is a great opportunity for us to reset the balance in favor of free expression. As Mark says in that video, what we're doing is we're getting back to our roots and free expression," Kaplan told "Fox & Friends."By the way, don't think that I think Zuckerberg is a hero. I don't. He's a villain. But in walking away from his villainy, he's conceding that the villains have been defeated. The left is a defeated army and the deserters are streaming out of it and putting on the uniforms of the winning side.
Meta's third-party fact-checking program was put in place after the 2016 election and had been used to "manage content" and misinformation on its platforms, largely due to "political pressure," executives said, but admitted the system has "gone too far." "We went to independent, third-party fact-checkers," Kaplan told Fox News Digital in an interview. "It has become clear there is too much political bias in what they choose to fact-check because, basically, they get to fact-check whatever they see on the platform." Kaplan told Fox News Digital that Meta is "ending that completely" and will replace it with a "Community Notes" model similar to the one used on X, formerly Twitter. "Instead of going to some so-called expert, it instead relies on the community and the people on the platform to provide their own commentary to something that they've read," Kaplan explained, noting that if a note gets support from "the broadest cross-section of users," that note can be attached to the content for others to see.More vindication: Zuckerberg and Kaplan both admit that they've been censoring the actual debate over transgenderism to favor the transgender cultists.
placeholder "We think that's a much better approach rather than relying on so-called experts who bring their own biases into the program," Kaplan said.
The WSJ's write up includes this admission that the Army of Censorship lost the war:
Kaplan also told Fox News Digital that Meta is changing some of its own content moderation rules, especially those that they feel are "too restrictive and not allowing enough discourse around sensitive topics like immigration, trans issues and gender." "We want to make sure that discourse can happen freely on the platform without fear of censorship," Kaplan told Fox News Digital. "We have the power to change the rules and make them more supportive of free expression. And we're not just changing the rules, we are actually changing how we enforce the rules." .... Last year, Zuckerberg sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee in which he admitted that he felt pressure from the Biden administration, particularly with regard to COVID content, and even items like satire and humor. "The thing is, as American companies, when other governments around the world that don't have our tradition or our First Amendment, when they see the United States government pressuring U.S. companies to take down content, it is just open season then for those governments to put more pressure [on their companies]," Kaplan explained. "We do think it is a real opportunity to work with the Trump administration and to work on free expression at home."
"We've reached a point where it's just too many mistakes and too much censorship," he said. "The recent elections also feel like a cultural tipping point towards once again prioritizing speech." Zuckerberg directly referenced Trump several times in the video, criticizing the legacy media for their coverage of his first term in office. He also said that fact-checkers had become "too politically biased."For his part, Trump is willing to forgive Zuckerberg and welcome him into MAGA.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said he thinks Meta's "presentation was excellent." "They have come a long way," Trump said.Your own reaction to one of history's greatest censors experiencing a deathbed epiphany may vary. One thing I would say, though: He could have just quietly walked back his censorship regime. He didn't have to admit that he made a mistake -- the media companies sure don't. And even though he minimized his own role in censorship, throwing blame at the Biden Administration and "legacy media" for demanding censorship, 1, it's totally true that Biden and Brian Stelter both demanded censorship daily and 2, it's a good thing that he's calling those bad actors out as the main drivers of censorship. This isn't a quiet walking away from censorship; this is a loud public denunciation of it. That is big. I mean, he's announcing that the transgender cult has forced everyone to sing from their hymnbook. He didn't have to say that. He chose to. This is a huge moment. I'm willing to give Zuckerberg some credit. Not a lot, but definitely some. He didn't just desert the losing army, he came over with a chest full of secret documents from the losing army's high command. He might also sense that the cultural shift is more profound that even we suspect. And he'd be in a position to know that, given that his company collects everyone's data and clicking habits every single day.

Customers will be pushed towards buying models that are more expensive or lean on non-instantaneous storage tank water heaters, which are generally cheaper but tend to be less efficient than the ones that are facing a ban, per the report.
This is government meddling at its worst, and the Biden/Obama junta is lashing out at America in its anger that we had the effrontery to toss them into the dustbin of history. They love to cause us pain, and mandating this sort of crap is their masturbatory fantasy. Or...some manufacturer has greased the wheels of the bribe machine in D.C., and Joe Biden will be getting his 10%. Or both. The environmental movement in America has been co-opted by the rabid leftists who see it as a powerful tool to destroy the economy and drive us into poverty. Sadly, the Democrat party sees nothing wrong with that plan, and is happy to take their votes in exchange for their insanity. Go back 45 years to the Three Mile Island accident. Contrary to the carefully manipulated media reporting, the accident was trivial. Pretty much everything that could go wrong...did go wrong, yet the amount of radiation released via vented steam was minuscule. It was a testament to the reactor design, rather than a catastrophic accident. Yet the watermelons (green on the outside... red on the inside) used it to destroy nuclear power in America. But that was okay with most people because we had lots of other energy options...at least that is what we were told by a compliant media. But coal was demonized, then oil, and now natural gas. Perhaps people should remember Martin Niemöller, quotation! What the watermelons want is an America without any energy options except solar and wind. That means the destruction of our way of life, and a future of densely packed urban poverty. Sounds like fun. But President Donald Trump and his merry band of young, aggressive, unapologetic, America and market economy-loving colleagues might do some real damage to the grand plan of our enemies! I can't wait for January 20th! [Crossposted at CutJibNewsletter]

CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger said Monday on his network’s special coverage of the election certification that history will remember January 6, 2021 as a “coup attempt.”In a way, he's right. He and his Democrat/traitor compatriots after stealing the 2020 election, created a false flag operation to begin a concerted war on all who oppose them and effectively, at least for four years overthrew the government. It is indeed a miracle all things considered that Trump and we are still here to once again take the reins of power. This horrible bastard and all like him should never know a moment's peace for the rest of their miserable existences on this Earth. May they live long enough to see everything they have done dismantled and reversed and the sound of children laughing as Satan drags their worthless souls down to the Infernal Reaches to roast along with Carter's nuts for all eternity. Unsurprising as their reactions may be, perhaps it's a signal that more and more people are indeed rejecting them and everything they actually stand for (not the moldering skin suit of peace, love, happiness and freedom they march around in and demand respect). Let's hope so. But be ever vigilant as evil never rests. And while New Yorkers are immolated and shoved in front of trains, Madness like this perhaps will add fuel to the fire, so to speak, of people's anger.
Some Big Apple motorists were recently spotted with license plates subtly obscured using ultra-low-tech methods — which could potentially be used to evade New York’s wildly unpopular congestion toll that just went into effect.
The Post spotted a variety of these sneaky, DIY tactics in action — often deployed on newer or high-end vehicles — reminiscent of the ongoing “ghost plates” problem that costs the city hundreds of millions of dollars each year. While it’s not known whether the observed trickery is a direct result of the new $9 toll being imposed when entering Midtown Manhattan, many of the altered plates were sighted near the perimeters of the congestion zone on Sunday, when the fee went into effect
It won't be $9.00 for long, my former fellow New Yorkers. It's going a lot higher.A good friend who is not necessarily conservative, yet rational and sane, told me he hoped fellow New Yorkers would sabotage the cameras. Agreed. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of the surveillance state. Lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Top Story
- AMD announced about seven thousand new (and "new") mobile CPUs at CES. (Ars Technica)
These start with the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 395 at the high end, with sixteen Zen 5 cores and 40 RDNA 3.5 graphics cores, and go all the way down to the Ryzen 3 210, which "only" has four Zen 4 cores - three of which are the somewhat slower Zen 4c - and four RDNA 3 graphics cores.
Which is still reasonably fast, true.
- Meanwhile Nvidia announced the new RTX 5000 family and lied about the performance. (Tom's Hardware)
The new RTX 5070 is claimed to be as fast as an RTX 4090, but if you dig into the details it turns out they are literally doubling the numbers produced by the 5070.
With the new AI frame generation, it generates three fake frames for each real one, which makes games smoother at the expense of being 75% bullshit.
Pricing starts at $550 for the 5070 and goes up to $2000 for the 5090.

@danturrentine Hard as a D to read the Wash Post story and not laugh/cry. Amidst the talk of communication failure and message choices, no mention of the central reason for all these struggles: Biden's declining mental acuity and the iron handcuffs it produced. He was the least public-facing and publicly engaged President of the modern TV era, not because they thought it was good politics, but out of necessity to hide his condition. For so many to omit, let alone focus on, this fact is embarrassing. The D Party will struggle to regain public trust and confidence until it comes to public terms with the charade.
AI book app gives #based advice to wokest users. The gist of the advice to reviewers was to try reading, or recommending, a white author every once in a while.
Fable, a popular social media app that describes itself as a haven for "bookworms and bingewatchers," created an AI-powered end-of-year summary feature recapping what books users read in 2024. It was meant to be playful and fun, but some of the recaps took on an oddly combative tone. Writer Danny Groves' summary for example, asked if he's "ever in the mood for a straight, cis white man's perspective" after labeling him a "diversity devotee." Books influencer Tiana Trammell's summary, meanwhile, ended with the following advice: "Don't forget to surface for the occasional white author, okay?"I'm not sure how, but I'm pretty sure this is somehow Elon Musk's fault. Miami DEI grifter company: We're in "free fall" because DeSantis has killed our grift.
A screenshot of reading stats on the Fable app. Trammell was flabbergasted, and she soon realized she wasn't alone after sharing her experience with Fable's summaries on Threads. "I received multiple messages," she says, from people whose summaries had inappropriately commented on "disability and sexual orientation."
"We're in trouble': Miami DEI leader says state policies left the industry in freefall Miami Shores resident Roni Bennett launched South Florida People of Color in 2015 to educate businesses and universities about marginalized communities and help them learn why diversity, equity and inclusion -- DEI, for short -- is important to the foundation of any company or organization. A decade later, Bennett has seen her work limited by Florida legislation affecting DEI that has been supported by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, including the 2022 Stop Woke Act. She estimates that her annual revenue, which once hovered around $300,000, has been cut in half because of the legislation.LOL, GFY.
"We're in trouble," said Bennett, 54. Before Stop Woke, Bennett said South Florida People of Color had sufficient revenue to organize community events. That quickly stopped, she said, after DeSantis signed the act into law in 2022. Many of the businesses that she served stopped requesting the organization's services. And with the reelection of Donald Trump, an opponent of DEI measures, many Florida DEI leaders like Bennett are concerned about the future of their educational programming. Before creating South Florida People of Color, Bennett worked in corporate America as a marketing director for IBM and HP. She found that companies often did not speak about diverse experiences like her own, and that bristled her. "I know how it is," she said. "You're usually the only Black person in a department." South Florida People of Color founder Roni Bennett poses at her home on Friday, Oct. 30, 2024, in Miami.IBM and HP really need to take diversity into account when pitching computers to customers. Black people really want something different than white people in computers, I guess.
The 2003 birth of her son Michael changed her perspective. Living and working in Silicon Valley meant that she was spending much of her time around people unlike her and her Jamaican family. Moving to Miami allowed Bennett's family to better connect with their Caribbean roots. In 2009, Bennett felt a need to do something about the racial inequities that she noticed in the corporate space. Some white men got promoted more than other coworkers, she said, and Bennett believed that the issues she was experiencing were systemic.Let me state the extremely obvious: the cover story for DEI practices is that supposedly these will help businesses "make more money." As she claimed about IBM and HP needing to take "diversity" into consideration when designing and selling computers. That's a lie, and always was a lie. These efforts always cause a loss of business. It's all about what she admits it is later on -- she, like every other loudmouth malcontent, thinks she should have been given more money, and DEI is the right scam to force society to cater to her entitlement. Woke transgender culture is now colonizing medieval studies.
Students in Boston U. 'Medieval Trans Studies' Course Learn About 'Gender Fluid Angels' "Medieval studies resisted the woke turn in the humanities but eventually succumbed to it." The left has been going after Medieval studies for a long time, trying to find a way to make it fit their woke worldview. Boston University is offering a graduate-level "Medieval Trans Studies" course for the upcoming spring semester that explores how "medieval texts speak to the historical, theoretical, and political concerns that animate contemporary trans studies." The course has drawn criticism from scholars who argue that it reflects modern ideological biases rather than historical accuracy. It considers "the deep histories of transgender embodiment" through an examination of texts stemming from the Middle Ages, according to the course description. Students will read about "alchemical hermaphrodites, genderfluid angels, Ethiopian eunuchs, trans saints, sex workers, and genderqueer monks," according to the university.Woke Groomer PM Keir Starmer is the the most unpopular new PM in 40 years.
[The Telegraph:] Starmer more unpopular after five months than any other PM in over 40 years Sir Keir Starmer is more unpopular after five months in Downing Street than any other prime minister since the late 1970s, according to a new poll. The survey, conducted between Nov 27 and Dec 4, found that 61 per cent of voters were dissatisfied with Sir Keir's performance while 27 per cent were satisfied. That gave him a net satisfaction score of -34. Ipsos said it was the worst score recorded for a prime minister after five months in office in its history, dating back to Margaret Thatcher. And it's going to get worse, as the British public finally confronts shameful cover-up of mass rape of young girls, 11, 12 years old, by Muslim rape gangs. They covered it up in the name of "tolerance" -- and Starmer was the Crown Prosecutor during the non-prosecution of these foreign invader rapists. And they're still doing it:
In some cases, the conquering of a nation looks like phalanxes of jackbooted Nazi troops marching under Paris' Arc de Triomphe. In other cases, the fall of a country is slow, steady, and apparently unstoppable. And it comes ostensibly from within.
The clip below is hard to digest and almost impossible to fathom, but it shows just how far a nation can fall when it becomes tangled in the coils of DEI and blind leftist ideology [clip below the fold]. Yes, you heard that right. The police arrested the girl for drinking. But not one cop on the scene thought to even question how a drunk, naked teenage girl happened to be in the company of seven adult males? Nothing about that seemed suspicious to the officers? The report above is only just now coming to light, and not only is it horrifying, but it almost seems too awful to believe. But this is only the latest in a long trail of violations of girls in the UK by rape gangs. In February of last year, the BBC ran a report about a girl In Rochdale who estimated that she was raped over 100 times since she was 12.
Ruby, whose real name cannot be revealed for legal reasons, said the abuse started after some older men invited her and her friends to a takeaway and a flat for food and drinks. For a few weeks that was all that happened. But one day at the flat, "they wouldn't let us in the room" because other people were in there, she said. "They gave us a litre of vodka with no mixer and 10 fags. So by the time we went in the other room, we were all really drunk." Ruby said there were about "30 to 40 men waiting for us," and then "they raped me... continuously". "One would finish [raping me], and then the other one would come in, and it was just like that all night." She said the abuse continued because the gang threatened her, and she felt "there was no way out." "They'd get our numbers, they'd come to the schools, they'd come near my house, they'd come everywhere, and they'd look for us and find us." She said she was raped "possibly over a hundred [times]" by men "from all over the country" for four years. "There was men from Bradford and Nelson and Birmingham, Blackpool... [the gang] took us everywhere," she said. "I feel like I just became numb to it."
Nate Hochman
@njhochman The transcript from the Oxford grooming gang trial reads like something out of an insane right-wing fever dream. The worst part is, it was a choice. It didn't have to happen. The immigration policies of the past few decades have invited entirely avoidable horrors into our homes.

Washington Post to Lay Off "Many Dozens" as Readership Crashes
Washington Post expected to lay off 'many dozens' in coming week after cartoonist quits in protest: reportI don't think any of these woke media outlets can ever reclaim the figleaf of nonpartisanship. They will never, never again be considered authoritative or honest. Therefore, there is no point in attempting to "re-position" CNN or the Washington Post as "centrist" and "objective." Anyone who wasn't a full on TDS #Resistance leftist stopped going to these sources years and years ago, and they're not coming back. And as these outlets shed audience, they catered harder and harder to the remaining audience of mentally ill leftwing lunatics, which caused even Democrat normies to flee, and left their remaining audience base even more partisan and weird. There is no way -- none -- to reverse this, so it's my business advice that they not even try. The only course is to accept that they are permanently diminished and marginalized as fringe outlets of the intensely woke ghetto. They have to downsize until they hit the right, profitable level for a niche conspiracy-theory outlet. They will have to shed at least half of their staff. #SorryNotSorry. You effed around, and now you're finding out. Meanwhile, the perfect symbol of Biden and the press -- for she soon will be working, of course, for our very objective, truth-telling, reality-based media -- congratulated her staff for making her success possible. Wait, what?
Washington Post staffers are bracing for layoffs as morale in the newsroom has plummeted in the wake of an exodus of top talent from the Jeff Bezos-owned broadsheet, according to a report. The imminent staff cuts are expected to impact "many dozens" of employees in the business division -- with an announcement possibly coming down as soon as this week, according to Oliver Darcy of the Status newsletter. News of the anticipated layoffs came on the heels of Friday's resignation from the Washington Post by Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Ann Telnaes, who quit in protest of the paper's decision not to publish a cartoon that depicts Bezos and other billionaires kowtowing to President-elect Donald Trump. The Washington Post suffered another blow as one of its top political reporters, Josh Dawsey, is set to depart the publication and take up a position with the Wall Street Journal, Darcy reported in Status over the weekend. ... Last week, two other senior political reporters for the Washington Post -- Ashley Parker and Michael Scherer -- left the publication to take up new positions at The Atlantic, the magazine owned by Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In late October, two Washington Post staffers quit its editorial board in protest of Bezos' decision to block an endorsement of the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris. Bezos said the move to block the endorsement was made in order to bolster public confidence in his newspaper's impartiality. But readers of the newspaper were angered by the move. As many as 250,000 subscribers canceled their memberships as a result, according to reports.

At TomKlingenstein.com, by Hayden Ludwig. Interesting read! You might like it if you like Kremlinology, the study of the workings of the Kremlin. Only this is the Kremlin of the American Neocon/Neoliberal Regime. Cruise ships added as commentary.
There's no understanding the Never Trump cabal without reading its flagship commentary website: The Bulwark. The site operates as a hub for all things anti-Trump, charting the Right's descent (as they see it) into knuckle-dragging white supremacy, authoritarianism, and subservience to Moscow. It's a refuge for bitter Beltway relics of the Bush-Romney establishment who smugly cast themselves as the true heirs of Ronald Reagan, rather than out-of-touch elites more aligned with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden than the Gipper. The Bulwark was founded by a handful of once-influential Beltway writers, most famously Bill Kristol, son of the late Irving Kristol and editor of the now-defunct Weekly Standard. But his co-founders, ex-Wisconsin radio host Charlie Sykes, who left the Bulwark for MSNBC in February, and Sarah Longwell, a political consultant and one-time chair of the LGBT group Log Cabin Republicans, are just as critical to The Bulwark's evolution into Never Trump's lodestar. There is nothing pettier than a born bureaucrat.🚢 🚢 🚢
With Kristol and Longwell at the helm, The Bulwark grew into the Kremlin for an organized network of anti-Trump forces that developed across Trump's first term. In a few short years, they transformed the jumbled anti-Trump forces into an eight-figure political ad machine for boosting Democrats, funded overwhelmingly by mega-donors on the Left. But none of that would have been possible without support from a lesser-known D.C. group, the Niskanen Center, which set the stage for what became The Bulwark. Though it's hardly a household name, the Niskanen Center is infamous in conservative Beltway circles as a gun-for-hire for Big Green activists. The think tank was born from a 2014 row within the libertarian Cato Institute over environmental policy led by then-Cato vice president Jerry Taylor. Taylor, who spent 20 years fighting as Cato's "lead climate denier," became convinced of the global warming threat and jumped ship to found his own left-leaning libertarian organization.🚢 🚢 🚢 (The obscure name was Taylor's way of flipping the middle finger to Cato. It comes from legendary Cato co-founder William Niskanen, Reagan's economic advisor and far from a global warmer, whose 2011 death sparked high drama within D.C. libertarianism and precipitated Taylor's split from the flagship of the movement.)
The Niskanen Center's first project was selling conservatives on the merits of a carbon tax, a tax levied on companies' carbon dioxide emissions to punish them into reducing their CO2 footprint. In 2019, when I spent significant time exposing the growing coalition of "eco-Right" groups -- all funded by liberals -- the carbon tax push emerged as a dire and underreported threat to the Republican Party. The eco-Right gained support in Congress from squishy Republican congressmen such as Reps. Carlos Curbelo (FL) and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA), who tried to normalize global warming and carbon taxes as conservative issues. If successful, they could have split the fragile GOP and given Democrats a powerful electoral edge. They lost that fight, while Curbelo lost his seat. As time went on, Niskanen's eco-proposals grew more extreme. At one point, Taylor -- writing with the Sierra Club's former climate counsel -- proposed fining companies for "increas[ing] the number and severity of wildfires, droughts, and flash flooding," which they blamed on climate change. For justification he cited James Hansen, Obama's radical NASA director who told Congress in 2008 that fossil fuel company "CEOs should be tried for high crimes against humanity and nature." At the same time, Taylor opened a public feud with his own brother, James, who became head of the climate-skeptic Heartland Institute. They're such good people.🚢 🚢 🚢 Money immediately began pumping into the new organization from the Left. I've traced six- to eight-figure grants from major "green" funders: the Hewlett and Packard Foundations; League of Conservation Voters; the multi-billion-dollar Arabella Advisors network; Arnold Ventures, bankrolled by ex-Enron billionaire John Arnold; Carnegie Corporation (despite its name, a foundation); the Joyce Foundation, whose board once included Sen. Barack Obama; eBay founder Pierre Omidyar; and arch-progressive George Soros. Soros, in particular, played an influential role in the Niskanen Center's retreat from libertarianism to leftism and the development of its positions on far more than climate change. In 2019, Niskanen announced it was "leav[ing] ideology behind" for a new vision of an "open society" at the same time it was quietly receiving millions of dollars from Soros's Open Society Foundations. The phrase isn't a coincidence; in both cases it's taken from the writings of Karl Popper, an ex-Marxist philosopher whose definition of libertarianism hinged on social engineering programs. Soros credits Popper for inspiring his globalist attitude "that no philosophy or ideology is the final arbiter of truth." So, too, does Niskanen credit Popper in describing itself as a band of "globalists who share progressives' desire to robustly address economic and social inequality." The Niskanen Center's reputation as a chisel to peel conservative voters away from the Republican Party has diminished along with the rest of the eco-Right (and climate fearmongering in general). Jerry Taylor himself left Niskanen in 2021 amid police reports that he'd drunkenly strangled and slapped his wife, to which he pleaded guilty. But at its peak the center was a vital hub for connecting Kristol and others who would become the masters of Never Trump Inc.
I didn't know that Kellyanne had finally divorced her cuck husband, but Wikipedia said she finally dropped this ugly troll in 2023.🚢 🚢 🚢 DDT for Democracy Shortly after Donald Trump took office, Jerry Taylor invited distraught neocons to a series of quasi-secret gatherings he deemed "Meetings of the Concerned." Besides Kristol and Longwell, the collection included George Conway (former husband of Kellyanne), Max Boot of the Council on Foreign Relations, and the future Lincoln Project founders Steve Schmidt and Rick Wilson. Those desperate first meetings between Longwell and Kristol resulted in a trifecta of new groups launched in January 2018 under the umbrella Defending Democracy Together, which bears the delightful acronym "DDT."
Structurally, DDT consists of a 501(c)(3) "charitable" arm, which publishes The Bulwark; a 501(c)(4) arm that houses their attack group, Republicans for the Rule of Law; and the Republican Accountability PAC, variously branded "Republican Voters Against Trump" or simply "Republican Accountability." All share overlapping leadership and major donors. The Bulwark is an "educational charity." Educational charities are not supposed to engage in partisan activities. But these fine people, dedicated to preserving the rule of law, violate the law every single day.
Really good article. I hope I haven't excepted too much. Below, Adam Kinzinger explains to The Bulwark's liberal lesbian Sarah Longwell that the BLM riots and arsons weren't so bad because they didn't "threaten democracy."
🚢 🚢 🚢 Their goal is the same: humble the Republican Party into submission by helping Democrats beat Trump. Lick him hard enough and conservatives will soon abandon MAGA altogether. Then Kristol et al. can retake their rightful place at the head of the GOP, and all will be well in Washington. So the theory goes. In reality, they quickly discovered the pool of anti-Trump conservative donors is trifling and has only shrunk since 2016. Hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer, for instance, spent heavily to stop Trump's nomination in 2016 -- even engaging the now-notorious firm Fusion GPS -- but later changed his mind, contributing $5 million to a pro-Trump super PAC in 2024. So DDT did the predictable: It cozied up to mega-donors on the Left.🚢 🚢 🚢

Dozens of US government officials claim symptoms including vertigo, powerful headaches, and debilitating permanent injuries from what they claim must be a directed energy weapon, fired at them by a hostile foreign power, who everyone assumes is Russia.
The US government officially denies these "anomalous health incidents" (AHIs). Specifically, the Director of National Intelligence wrote a letter stating AHIs are all in the victims' heads. I wrote about "Havana syndrome" earlier this year.John Schindler claims that "Havana Syndrome" is real, and that everyone in the Deep State knows it's real. In fact, he claims, the Deep State even knows the specifics of the "mystery weapon" Russia is using to attack the brains of its enemies[:]Catherine Herridge interviews a CIA whistleblower describing her injuries and claiming a government cover-up. Herridge calls it "government gaslighting."
I'm not going to mince words: that DNI statement is a bald-faced lie. The terrible truth is that, for many years, multiple hostile intelligence services have employed a Russian-designed and built acoustic directed energy weapon against Americans to harm and cripple them. The culprits are Russia's Federal Security Service or FSB (for attacks inside or near Russia), the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff or GRU (for attacks further afield) and Cuba's Dirección de Inteligencia or DI, a close Kremlin spy partner since the 1960s (many of the attacks in the Western Hemisphere, including inside the U.S., are the DI's handiwork). Our Intelligence Community is well aware of what the mystery weapon is and how it works. American spies have possessed fragmentary information about this clandestine Russian spy program for decades. Now, based on extensive intelligence collection and analysis, the IC has identified a half-dozen variants of this unique weapon, which was initially developed by the KGB during the late Cold War. The variants represent improvements in terms of capability, portability, and range. The top-shelf model is customarily deployed in a van and has an effective range of several hundred meters. The smallest weapon is man-portable in a backpack and is employed against close targets at a hundred meters or less. All variants produce similar symptoms and long-term medical harm. Our enemies are not concerned in the slightest about "collateral damage." Many IC victims of AHI have been struck at their residences when family members are at home. Spouses, partners, and even children have been attacked, experiencing long-term health impacts. Such attacks have occurred inside the United States too. Again, Biden's IC refuses to do anything about this. Somehow this White House is happy to provide Ukraine with tens of billions of dollars' worth of weapons and munitions, to help Kyiv defend itself against Moscow's aggression, armaments which have been used to kill thousands of Russians -- but doing anything to protect Americans from Russian attacks, even on our own soil, is unthinkable. ... It gets worse. A core component of the Top Secret conspiracy executed by Biden's IC regarding AHI is denying that anything is happening while suppressing evidence that something awful keeps happening. A few years ago, two FBI senior special agents took a vacation in Turkey with their families. Both agents had served as legal attaches abroad; known as LEGATs, these are FBI representatives stationed in U.S. embassies all over the world, coordinating investigations and information exchange with host-country law enforcement. Both LEGATs were known to Russian intelligence, and one had served at U.S. Embassy Moscow. While on holiday with their families, as they enjoyed an Anatolian beach week, they were attacked by a Russian intelligence operative, believed to be from GRU (specifically its sinister and shadowy wetwork Unit 29155, which has run amok all around the world in recent years), carrying the backpack version of the mystery weapon. The LEGATs and their families were bathed in invisible toxic waves in plain sight of dozens of bystanders. Moreover, this attack was caught on film. Turkish intelligence, known as MIT, has what can be charitably termed a frenemy relationship with American intelligence agencies, and MIT was surveilling the FBI agents, suspecting they were in Turkey on a secret mission, employing a beach holiday as cover (in fact, this was just a family vacation). MIT caught the Russian operation on video, offering a good look at exactly how GRU and others employ the backpack weapon. However, MIT refused to hand the video over when American intelligence learned of its existence and requested to see it. NSA hackers from the agency's elite Tailored Access Operations shop got down to work and stole the video by cracking into MIT classified computer networks. ... No spooks I've spoken with know what happened to that video. I strongly suspect that -- just like the Top Secret intelligence file on Iran's nuclear program displeasing to the Obama administration which I revealed here last week -- it's being analyzed by "top men" at a classified facility somewhere in the Northern Virginia suburbs, if it hasn't been somehow "misplaced" already.

Meanwhile, the Democrats attempt to claim they're not the Party of Soros.
The move to elevate the Queen of Benghzi and the communist/pro-crime propagandist Soros baffles many, including even Brett Fahr-vrah.
President Joe Biden rewarded one of the Left's most influential and notorious donors Saturday, giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros. The White House announced the honor in a list of 19 recipients, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and LGBTQ megadonor Tim Gill. Biden framed Soros' funding as philanthropy in service of "democracy" and "social justice." "George Soros is an investor, philanthropist, and founder of the Open Society Foundations," the White House explained. "Through his network of foundations, partners and projects in more than 120 countries, Soros has focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy, human rights, education, and social justice." Soros, a Hungarian-American billionaire investor, has funneled more than $15.2 billion through his Open Society Foundations (now run by his son Alex), which has awarded more than 50,000 grants worldwide, according to the World Economic Forum.
The Daily Wire recently reprinted this article from August 12: How George Soros Controls His Prosecutors.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre was among those who reacted to President Biden giving out Presidential Medals of Freedom on Saturday. Biden was scrutinized on social media for handing out the awards to Hillary Clinton and George Soros. Critics pointed out Clinton's handling of the war in Libya and the attack on United States government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, as well as her controversial private email server for government business, which prompted former FBI Director James Comey to say publicly that Clinton had mishandled classified information. The award to Soros, a Democratic megadonor, was slammed based on the billionaire's campaign funding of progressive district attorneys who have been soft on crime, which they say has led to crime waves in blue cities. Favre noticed as well. "What words would you use to describe the White House medals that were given out because I'm honestly speechless," he wrote on X.
Over the weekend, Biden's dementia caused a temper tantrum and the use of an actual profanity I've sworn off -- g-d*** -- because he's such a pious Catholic or whatever.
The Soros network 'remains in the driver seat' after getting prosecutors elected, according to the Media Research Center. By Luke Rosiak As we prepare to enter the new year, we're taking you back to some of The Daily Wire's best reporting from 2024. This article was originally published on August 12. George Soros and his son, Alex, have spent at least $117 million since 2016 to reshape America's justice system. They've been successful: three in 10 Americans now live under a Soros prosecutor. But the Soroses' influence doesn't end on Election Day. After Soros-backed prosecutors take office, the family's apparatus tells them what to do, documents show. The Media Research Center obtained nearly 8,000 pages of internal documents through public records laws that show how a Soros-funded group called Fair and Just Prosecution (FJP) "directed Soros prosecutors to manipulate the rule of law concerning illegal immigration, drugs, abortion, election integrity, capital punishment and laws against childhood sex changes." MRC's yearlong investigation suggests that Soros maintained influence over his chosen candidates after their elections were over. FJP had the Soros-backed attorneys sign 33 pledges to not enforce certain laws -- including election integrity measures and immigration laws -- and attend more than 50 meetings or "convenings," some of which were "mandatory." FJP pressed prosecutors to let criminals off the hook if they are black, having them pledge to "reduc[e] racial disparities in case outcomes by at least 20%." FJP's influence can be seen on some of the most high-profile Soros prosecutors. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg sought to indict former President Donald Trump for his role in the January 6 protests after the group said it wanted to hold Trump "accountable." Since-ousted San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin was in contact with FJP on a daily basis. On 20 occasions, FJP sent prosecutors "templates" of press releases they should send out, as well as social media posts to "adapt." "Being a Soros prosecutor means extensive, free access to expert political consulting firms, complete with detailed polling and field-tested messaging strategies," the MRC's report found. "FJP remains in the driver seat, though, even going so far as to social media posts for its prosecutors so they can better coordinate their messaging." At the meetings, Soros prosecutors got talking points and marching orders. At one meeting, political consultants told the assembled prosecutors to frame ignoring property crime as "reprioritizing resources" to "solve more murders." The consultants cited polling that showed this messaging was more popular than simply acknowledging that prosecutors were not prosecuting lesser crimes. The Soros operation also pushed prosecutors to use mental or physical health specialists instead of police by sharing polling that showed that the idea was popular. Soros has poured the kind of money normally reserved for statewide campaigns low-profile local prosecutor races. The Hungarian billionaire generally targets primary elections in blue areas, funding radical progressives in their races against more moderate Democrats. Once in office, these "progressive prosecutors" often decline to enforce laws they find objectionable.

Craig Sicknick, still lying about how his brother died (he died of a stroke, it had nothing to do with January 6th), called for an insurrection over the weekend, demanding Congress refuse to certify Trump's election.
Which is, literally, what they claim made Trump an insurrectionist. This isn't hypocrisy, it's their attempt to assert a hierarchy whereby they are elevated to a new aristocratic rank and have unlimited power to impose rules on the lower orders while being free of those rules. And the public has rejected it, hard.Posted by: Ace at 01:01 PM | Comments (532) | Trackbacks (Suck)
Hello, good friends. Welcome to the first working week of 2025.
Take your time digging your car out of the snow. 30% of all heart attacks occur after snow storms. I just made that up. The media taught me to make up Science Facts in the name of Promoting Help. But definitely there's a spike in heart attacks, right? Suddenly guys are doing hard exercise after maybe years of avoiding it. On to the actual news: Trudeau has finally been forced out. The Vibe Shift collects a juicy blackface scalp.Unfortunately he's hasn't resigned yet. He says he'll resign after the Liberal Party has a campaign and election for a new party leader. I don't know how long that will take. Update: I think he suspended Parliament until March 24. Hopefully that means he'll be out before then.
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, widely believed to be a shoo-in for the prime minister's office in October, has lambasted the Liberal Party's past several months of floundering. "Forty-one million [Canadian citizens] are not obliged to wait around while this party sorts out its s***," the conservative leader said in an interview released Friday. "Like, these guys could have got rid of Trudeau a year and a half ago."

As much of America shivers under a deep freeze that is not going to break for several weeks, it’s a good time to take a look at the recent climate forecasts from the cannot-be-questioned “climate scientists” at NOAA.
They got it wrong, of course. Colossally wrong. The map below is what NOAA forecast back in October. “The science” showed that the South and East should expect a warm winter with above average temperatures. We are now in the heart of winter, and NOAA got it 100% backwards, with most of the country in a prolonged cold snap bringing temperatures that are well below average.
“Multiple Arctic outbreaks to affect more than 250 million in central, eastern US into mid-January” [AccuWeather – 01/01/2025]
The central, southern and eastern United States are bracing for the coldest, most persistent frigid Arctic air in years that will come in waves and last through mid-January. Storms packing snow and ice will join in. "At this time, it looks like there will be at least three major blasts of Arctic air that will affect the Southern states," AccuWeather Meteorologist Alex DaSilva said. "The first outbreak will linger into Jan. 4, the second on Jan. 7-8 and then the third round on Jan. 11-12." Additional rounds of Arctic air may follow but be directed more toward the Midwest and Northeast.Clearly, making weather/climate predictions for more than a few weeks out is very difficult. NOAA might be entitled to some grace for this swing-and-a-miss if it wasn’t so aggressively promoting the climate apocalypse a few decades hence, and aiding the eco-communists in their quest to eliminate carbon-based freedom as the cure for the climate hoax. Of course, NOAA’s documented history of adjusting historical temperature records to create the illusion of global warming also renders any of its current “science” as assumed to be fraudulent. Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus. Actually, making long-range weather predictions is not difficult for NOAA, since there is only one forecast it is permitted to publish – warmer than average – with blood-red maps showing people suffering under life-sucking heat. To make a scientifically valid forecast that might actually show colder-than-average weather would put NOAA’s meteorologists at odds with the high priests of the climate church who have gained control of most government institutions. As recently as three weeks ago, NOAA was still clinging to its promise for a hot January. This map (h/t @BigJoeBastardi) from mid-December was NOAA’s January temperature forecast.
Weather is a life and death matter. Extreme weather has always been with us and always will be. Allowing NOAA to promote fraudulently inaccurate weather forecasts in service to an anti-civilizational political agenda cannot be tolerated any longer. The incoming Trump administration has a very full plate, but fixing NOAA and freeing it from the climate clerisy is critically important. [buck.throckmorton at protonmail dot com]

Trust in our government has lowered to the point that some people are suggesting that the New Orleans jihad massacre was aided and abetted, or even concocted, by the feds in order to stir up unrest as Trump prepares to return to the presidency, or to create a pretext for some other action. Some of those who are making suggestions of this kind, such as Candace Owens, just want to find some plausible way to blame Jews, or to claim that it’s all in the service of trying to get the U.S. involved in a war in the Middle East on behalf of Israel. Those types, including Owens herself, tend to downplay or deny outright the reality of Islamic jihad, preferring to see virtually all the workings of the wide world as the puppet show of the all-powerful and ever-unseen Zionists. Still, would the feds really get involved in a jihad plot to kill Americans? Sure. No one really knows for sure, except the conspirators, if there are any, whether or not the feds are involved. And jihad is real, as the news out of Africa, Asia and Europe shows daily. Still, the question must be asked: would the feds really aid and abet a jihad terror attack? Have they really become that corrupt and compromised? And the answer is: yes. Of course they would, and yes, they’re that corrupt. The evidence for this fact lies in their behavior at the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest that Pamela Geller and I organized in May, 2015.All things considered, This is not the estimable Robert Spencer going too far. Remember, he is writing about what happened during the time Obama and Holder were in power. Lest we forget these fiends shipped guns and ammunition south of the border under an operation called "Fast and Furious" so that said weaponry would cause such murder and mayhem that the American citizenry would at long last demand that the government abolish the Second Amendment. And Ace cruelty fan-boi Victor Davis Hanson runs down the litany of attacks and abuses against our Republic so as to prevent or otherwise thwart Donald Trump and serve as a warning to any future Donald Trumps out there who want to restore America politically and culturally to the unique-in-history nation and Republic it was created as:
Over the decade of Donald Trump’s political career, the left—as exemplified by Democratic politicos, the media, academics, the Washington military hierarchy, and the permeant bureaucratic state—illustrated a level of furor, venom, and near madness unprecedented in modern American history.Trump was shot at twice in the final weeks of the presidential race, and there are reports that an Iranian-backed assassin(s) might have been planning an attempt as well. All this leads back to the ineptitude and/or malfeasance of our federal law enforcement and national security agencies in preventing these attempts, or at the very least, not making taking shots at Donald Trump almost as easy as shooting fish in a barrel, which is certainly what the attempt in BUtler PA looked like? Meanwhile, in the wake of what happened on New Years Eve in New Orleans and Las Vegas . . .
Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) said during an interview over the weekend that dozens of illegal aliens smuggled into the U.S. by an ISIS-affiliated network have gone missing. Then again, who needs ISIS when we have right here amongst us:
A group of anti-Trump leftists is set to gather during President-elect Donald J. Trump’s inaugural week for an event featuring a cornucopia of far-left speakers from pro-BLM activists, pro-Hamas politicians, and anti-white authors to foreign-funded media personalities.
BLM. You remember BLM?
A devotee of anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan secured a senior role at Black Lives Matter Grassroots to lead "special projects" for the group as it prepares to resist President-elect Donald Trump’s second term. Black Lives Matter Grassroots announced in a New Year's message to its supporters on Thursday that it hired Yonasda Lonewolf, a rapper and activist with close ties to Farrakhan, as a "special projects specialist" to help the group as it works to "claim victory over the white-supremacist systems designed to kill our people." Black Lives Matter Grassroots said in the message it would enter 2025 with "the revolutionary spirit of our Haitian forebears" and featured an image of Haitian revolutionaries in the early 1800s lynching French military officers. If all that doesn't fill you with strength and confidence, this surely will!
A report from the Philadelphia Inquirer indicates LGBTQ groups and others in liberal voting blocs are buying guns for self-defense ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration. According to the Inquirer, “The … Liberal Gun Club … has received thousands of training requests since the election, more than in all of 2023,” a quarter of which are from members of the LGBTQ community. The Socialist Rifle Association has seen a surge in memberships as well, as have the Pink Pistols. As I stated last week, If Donald Trump could deport only one criminal illegal alien, it should be George Soros. (Being an admitted Nazi collaborator should automatically invalidate his citizenship). His ill-gotten billions have funded much of the destruction of America over the past several decades. Indeed, his oft-stated goal has been the dismantling of America as founded and indeed every other Judeo-Christian western government. At the very least, his activities in funding subversive and violent groups should be the focus of the biggest RICO investigation of all time, with the aim of seizing his near 25 billion in literal blood money so his degenerate spawn cannot continue his malign vision of destroying Western civilization. When that money disappears, many of the assaults on our freedom disappear just like that. Sure, there are others out there, like the Davos set but Soros is, as a US citizen (and that is an insult) within our grasp. That this depraved bastard got the medal of freedom is just Biden, and really his puppet master Obama, flipping the bird at America.
The Hungarian-born Soros, possibly the largest Democrat and progressive mega-donor in U.S. history, is a hedge-fund investor and currency speculator responsible for breaking the Bank of England in 1992. Since becoming a U.S. citizen in 1961, he has immersed himself in American politics, funding Democrat candidates and far-left prosecutors like Alvin Bragg, Larry Krasner, George Gascón, Chesa Boudin, and dozens of others who have been more concerned with social justice and persecuting Donald Trump than prosecuting violent criminals that threaten everyday Americans. His activities over the past 40 years should be closely examined and investigated by incoming Attorney General Pam Bondi. If it is found that he’s violated any U.S. laws that result in a conviction, he should be stripped immediately of his U.S. citizenship and deported to Hungary, where he is vilified by most Hungarians and will not be welcomed with open arms. Here's the full dossier on Soros from the invaluable Discover the Networks. Even a cursory glance at his life, his beliefs and goals is enough to make you sick. When a sleeping woman is set on fire in a NYC subway, or a Muslim mows down New Years revelers in New Orleans, or when fossil fuel exploration is knee-capped, or when your children are taken from you to have their genitals removed, and on and on and on, you can bet that some of Soros' blood money went to fund it or the politicians passing laws that enable it. The sooner, Soros is roasting in Hell and his entire fortune confiscated, the better off all of humanity will be. Have a good day. Lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.
