In 1970, 10% of Americans had a college degree. Today, 40% of Americans have a college degree.

This means, by simple math, that the average intelligence of college graduates has plummeted and, simultaneously, creates a large cohort of Americans who feel entitled to "college-worthy professions" without the intellectual aptitude for them.

They call this "the overproduction of elites" but that's a bad way to frame it. These people are not elites. They think they have elite credentials, but they actually don't. What they are are elite aspirants who have been sold a much-devalued credential and a lie for $200,000.

Hence, the explosion of email jobs, DEI offices, and administrative positions--which are the most susceptible to capture by resentment ideology.

Meanwhile, the cost of this college-degree bubble is shifted onto taxpayers, as the $1.6 trillion student loan scheme is funded, subsidized, and guaranteed by the federal government.

This won't end well. Conservatives should be ready for the bubble to eventually pop, and work to privatize student loans, put immense pressure on the system, and put state-backed higher ed into contraction.

An ideal might be 20% of Americans with a college degree--meaning a reduction of slots by approximately half. Job training, technical schools, and community colleges are much better options for the 60th-80th percentile: faster, cost-efficient, and oriented toward productive work, rather than ideology.

Biden's "defense" of his failure to remember when Beau died was that he was so angry and incensed that the special counsel would ask him such a thing about an Official State Secret That Joe Biden Has Vowed Never To Talk About (except in every other speech), that he silently fumed to himself, "How dare you bring that up."

Supposedly, then, Biden wasn't having "lost time" when asked this question, but smoldering with manly, virile, and quite youthful rage.

Video Surfaces of Then-Chairman of the Disney Board Bob Iger Delcaring, After January 6th, That It's Time to be "Less Cautious" About Taking Hard Left Political Stances

Background: Bob Iger had been CEO of Disney since around 2006 (IIRC). He briefly exited that job just as the pandemic hit -- perhaps hoping his successor would be tarred for the losses of the pandemic -- and became the chairman of Disney's board of directors.

He appointed Bob Chapek as the new CEO, but intended Chapek to be his go-fer, managing day-to-day operations, but doing what Iger told him to do on all major issues.

Tellingly, Iger refused to give up his luxurious shower-equipped CEO's office and give it to the new CEO. They gave Chapek a different office.

This is a strong indication that Iger still considered himself CEO-in-fact.

Below, Iger dictates that while Disney has previously attempted to stay out of politics, they have treated things that "aren't political" as "political" and stayed out of them when they should have taken a stand. This is the very leftwing Jake Tapper type position that says supporting trans surgery for children isn't a "political" stance at all, it's Just the Right Thing to Do (TM), and the only people acting "politically" on this issue are those who oppose cutting off children's penises and breasts and otherwise resisting what is clearly Just the Right Thing to Do (TM).

This is an incredibly widespread tactic (or real view) on the left; they constantly delegitimize any opposition to their agenda by declaring their own political agenda isn't a political agenda at all, but self-evidently just the "humane, right" thing to do, and only the opposition is smeared as "political" and "ideological." You see this when the media brands everyone pushing a leftwing point of view an "expert," but anyone opposing it, expert or not, a "conservative." In the left's conception of the world, the two poles are represented by non-political "experts" who just want the good and right things (which are, purely coincidentally, the liberal things), and hateful, crassly-political "conservatives" who just want what is worse for everyone.

Thus, Iger brands the entire gozno trans-for-kids movement and the whole gay-indoctrination-for-kids movement a "non-political" issue, and urges Disney to take a stand in these totally "non-political" areas.

And oh boy does it!

Shortly thereafter, the "Disney" Company -- really the Bob Iger Company -- pushed by its disproportionately high number of gay and trans employees, and then by Bob Iger in his role as Actual CEO, takes the position that it's wrong to allow parents to know when their children are being transed, and that 22-year-old idiot girls with noserings and pink hair must indoctrinate kindergarteners, first graders, second graders, and third graders in gay and trans ideology.

See, they should do that, because this isn't "political;" this is just supporting Trans Rights, which are human rights, doncha know.

Shooting at Kansas City Chiefs Parade; Two Gunmen Detained; One Dead, Ten Wounded

"Two gunmen" makes this sound like some kind of planned terrorist action, or some gang members doing typical gangbanger shit, but it could just be one shooter, and one good guy who shot at him, but was "detained" because, well, in situations like this, you arrest anyone who might be involved.

The Kansas City Chiefs Superbowl parade has descended into chaos with multiple people wounded in a shooting in the city's Union Station.

Stars including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were rushed from the scene as the shots were fired seconds after they left the stage.

Two gunmen have been detained, according to the police department. A man in a red hoodie was pictured being arrested, although it is unclear if he was one of those involved in the shooting.

Officers are now evacuating the streets surrounding the train station where up to one million people had gathered to celebrate the win.

Reports indicate up to 10 people may have been injured, although it is unclear how many sustained gunshot wounds or were hurt in the resulting chaos.

But it's worse than that. Because McConnell knows he could have all the Ukraine funding he could ever want if he also funds America's border and agrees to deport most illegals.

But he doesn't want the pro-security, pro-America side to even have that leverage over him. He doesn't want to secure the American border in exchange for securing Ukraine's. He doesn't want Trump to have the power to say, "Fund my border wall and reinstate the provisions for deporting illegals, or else no more Ukraine funding."

So he's crafted a bill which secretly* demands funding for Ukraine for the next five years.

After Failing Once, House Impeaches Secretary of Open Borders Population Replacement Alejandro Majorkas

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted 214-213 to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over his handling of the border crisis.

The impeachment vote was based on accusations that Mayorkas deliberately flouted existing immigration laws, exacerbating the migrant crisis at the U.S. border.

Three Republicans voted against the impeachment, expressing concerns over the precedent it could set for future political impeachments.

The impeachment vote was a contentious one, with every House Democrat rallying to protect Mayorkas during the previous attempt. This time, however, the vote passed by a slim margin. The three Republicans who voted against the impeachment - Reps. Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin (retiring), Ken Buck of Colorado (retiring), and Tom McClintock of California, criticized Mayorkas' handling of the border crisis but questioned whether it warranted impeachment. McClintock, in particular, warned of the potential for this to set a precedent for politically motivated impeachments in the future.

Of course, this does not remove him from office, and of course, the pro-Open Borders senate -- including open borders "Republicans" -- will fight to keep him in office.

In fact, even though the Constitution requires a trial after a vote for impeachment, Democrats (and Mitch McConnell, I'm sure) are scheming to blow off the trial and just ignore the impeachment.

CBS "News:"

"[The Constitution] says that the Senate 'shall' have the sole power to hold a trial, but that 'shall' is doing a lot of work there and it doesn't mandate it," says Casey Burgat, the director of the Legislative Affairs Program at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management. "And in a lot of people's eyes, it doesn't force it."

The Senate rules suggest that once the chamber receives the articles of impeachment from the House, they must schedule a trial to begin the following day, Burgat explained. But a majority could vote to "reinterpret" the rules, opening up a number of avenues to speed through, delay or dismiss the impeachment outright.

"Depending on the entrepreneurship of the people there and how much the majority is willing to not do that, they've got a lot of options to kind of rejigger the rule," Burgat said.

Yeah we're doing a lot of rejiggering of the Constitution lately anyway. Might as well just scrap this 100+ year old plan of self-government.

That doesn't mean the impeachment is without effect. Once the House impeaches a target, its power to demand documents and testimony -- evidence, in other words -- expands and The Regime's power to "rejigger" the rules in their favor shrinks.

Surprise! Illegal Alien Transgender Mass-Shooter Was Registered (Illegally) to Vote in the 2020 Election

By now, you're aware that on Sunday afternoon, a deranged woman brought her young son and an AR-15 into Joel Osteen's Lakewood megachurch and opened fire. After the smoke cleared, the shooter, Genesse Ivonne Moreno, 36, had been killed by two off-duty officers. A 57-year-old man had taken a round in the leg; he was treated at a medical facility and released. And Moreno's seven-year-old [human shield] son had been shot in the head. The boy remains in critical condition with a poor prognosis.

The leftwing media is blaming "lax gun laws" for the shooting, ignoring the fact that this person, who has repeatedly been arrested and treated for mental illness -- and who is also an illegal alien! -- should not have been able to purchase any weapons according to currently-existing laws.

Still another roadblock to Moreno obtaining a legal firearm is the fact that she is not a U.S. citizen. She was born in El Salvador, and it's unclear what her current resident status is. But during the divorce proceedings (approximately 2020-2022), she was deportable:

The mother-in-law's affidavit ... also claimed Moreno "filed a fraudulent birth certificate" for the child and "refused" to correct it and told hospital staff that the father [Carranza] was "dead" and, alternatively, that he was "homeless" and unknown.

Her son "has been reticent to file the criminal charges against his wife; now his former wife because, as she is not a US citizen," the mother-in-law's affidavit said, and "as she already has had criminal convictions, she would likely be deported if convicted of the 3rd degree felony that stems from filing a fraudulent birth certificate. He told [Houston Police] detectives this is not what he wants for the woman he loved and married and the mother of his child. He wants her to live, he told police, where she can get quality mental healthcare. He doesn't hate her; he hates her mental illness and her refusal to treat it."

But while this Cultural Enricher wasn't allowed to buy a gun in the US, she also wasn't allowed to vote in US elections, but this is America -- criminal illegal aliens are allowed to do whatever the fucking want to do here, because Fuck You, that's why:

Michael Shellenberger: Traitor John Brennan Mobilized Foreign Intelligence Services to Spy on the Duly Elected American President

Last year, John Durham, a special prosecutor for the Department of Justice (DOJ), concluded that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) should never have opened its investigation of alleged collusion by then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and Russia in late July of 2016.

Now, multiple credible sources tell Public and Racket that the United States Intelligence Community (IC), including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), illegally mobilized foreign intelligence agencies to target Trump advisors long before the summer of 2016.

The new information fills many gaps in our understanding of the Russia collusion hoax and is supported by testimony already in the public record.

You probably remember the obviously-fake cover story that the FBI began the investigation only after a Trump aide mentioned something about the Russians having kompromat on Hillary Clinton, or something. In fact, we've long known the spying operation against Trump began before this.

But now we find out that Brennan told foreign spy agencies to entrap -- or "bump" -- a list of 26 people connected with Trump in hopes of generating a legal pretext to set the US spy forces against him.

Until now, the official story has been that the FBI's investigation began after Australian intelligence officials told US officials that a Trump aide had boasted to an Australian diplomat that Russia had damning material about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

In truth, the US IC asked the "Five Eyes" intelligence alliance to surveil Trump's associates and share the intelligence they acquired with US agencies, say sources close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HSPCI) investigation. The Five Eyes nations are the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

After Public and Racket had been told that President Barack Obama's CIA Director, John Brennan, had identified 26 Trump associates for the Five Eyes to target, a source confirmed that the IC had "identified [them] as people to 'bump,' or make contact with or manipulate. They were targets of our own IC and law enforcement -- targets for collection and misinformation."

Trump ordered the folder containing this information to be declassified.

Guess what? The same traitors who ran this illegal FOREIGN spying operation against the PRESIDENT OF THE FUCKING UNITED STATES said "nah bro" and refused to declassify it.

Unknown details about the FBI's investigation of the Trump campaign and raw intelligence related to the IC's surveillance of the Trump campaign are in a 10-inch binder that Trump ordered to be declassified at the very end of his term, sources told Public and Racket.

If the top-secret documents exist proving these charges, they are potentially proof that multiple US intelligence officials broke laws against spying and election interference.

CNN, Politico, The Guardian, and others reported in 2017 that the British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the UK's equivalent of the National Security Agency (NSA), was the "principal whistleblower" in the investigation into the alleged ties between Trump and the Russian government.

"GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious 'interactions' between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence" wrote a team of reporters for The Guardian in April 2017.

This intelligence sharing was supposedly just the result of "incidental collection." Reported The Guardian, "It is understood that GCHQ was at no point carrying out a targeted operation against Trump or his team or proactively seeking information. The alleged conversations were picked up by chance as part of routine surveillance of Russian intelligence assets."

But now, sources say the GCHQ's version of events is false. Instead, the US IC asked its foreign allies to target 26 members of Trump's team, possibly to justify the FBI's investigation.

"They were making contacts and bumping Trump people going back to March 2016," a source close to the investigation said. "They were sending people around the UK, Australia, Italy -- the Mossad in Italy. The MI6 was working at an intelligence school they had set up."

It's no secret that the "oligarchs" (I think "plutocrat" is more accurate, but will not fight the zeitgeist) wield enormous influence and power in the private sector and in various "non-profits," and partner with the government. Whether an industrialist or a tech tycoon or a banker, in the East or the West, they have the means and more importantly, the desire to "change the world" according to their own visions. Governments in every major country on earth are eager to both use and be used by them in a dance of sinister symbiosis.

As should surprise nobody, the oligarchs' vision for the way things ought to be is generally undesirable for the rubes on whom those visions are imposed. The rube class understandably bristles when oligarchs wants to replace meat with lab-grown synthetics, eliminate single-family housing, install robot sentries around the cities, prohibit air travel, etc. The rubes may not know the reasons, but they do know the score, and they generally don't like it. They also know how few options they have to change it.

Politico reports that Biden is "frustrated" that the DOJ didn't prosecute his political rivals quickly enough to deliver conviction before the election:

Politico wrote at length about Biden's growing anger at Attorney General Merrick Garland for being an impartial actor and appointing special counsels to investigate him and his family's activities. On Garland's part, he noted the appointments were required since the president left sensitive materials in multiple unsecured locations. Garland isn't expected to run the DOJ if Biden wins a second term. Also, while they don't say it explicitly, Biden's main gripe is that the DOJ didn't move fast enough on the investigations into Donald Trump, preventing the president from weaponizing its findings first. Our own John Hasson and Huy Benson also commented on this White House leak on Twitter. It's a scandal (via Politico):

Frustration within the White House at Garland has been growing steadily.

Last year, Biden privately denounced how long the probe into his son was taking, telling aides and outside allies that he believed the stress could send Hunter Biden spiraling back into addiction, according to the same two people. And the elder Biden, the people said, told those confidants that Garland should not have eventually empowered a special counsel to look into his son, believing that he again was caving to outside pressure.

In recent weeks, President Biden has grumbled to aides and advisers that had Garland moved sooner in his investigation into former President Donald Trump's election interference, a trial may already be underway or even have concluded, according to two people granted anonymity to discuss private matters. That trial still could take place before the election and much of the delay is owed not to Garland but to deliberate resistance put up by the former president and his team.

I like Politico's outrage at the idea that a defendant being persecuted by the state would exercise his full panoply of legal rights to thwart that persecution.

Just in case anyone wants to pull a Hillary Clinton and claim he didn't know the information was classified, Biden, on audiotape, tells the ghostwriter that it's "probably classified:"

The notebook is classified as "Secret."

As you probably already knew, Biden is on digital audio saying "I found all the classified stuff downstairs."

While Biden claims that all prices are falling, the Consumer Price Increase not only increased in December, but then accelerated in its rise in January.

Whoops! Whoopsie!

The annualized CPI rate fell slightly to 3.1% from 3.4% in December, but inflation went up month-over-month from 0.2% to 0.3%. Core CPI (less food and energy) remained at 3.9%. Again, these measures are cumulative; they measure price increases based on prices that had previously increased far more rapidly. This annualized figure is based on the January 2023 CPI rate of 6.4%, which was based on the January 2022 rate of 7.5%, and so on. Inflation isn't going "down," it's only accelerating more slowly -- and even that's from a highly accelerated two-plus years of price shocks.

Biden's claims that prices are "falling" is flatly false -- at best, he can claim, in some months, that the rate of price increases has slowed or fallen. But zero prices have "fallen."

You'd think that CNN's expert "fact" checker Daniel Dale might want to point out this major lie about a major campaign issue, but nah, brah, it's all cool.

Report: The State Department Is Investigating Israel for "War Crimes"

The filthily corrupt Biden is throwing our ally over in favor of terrorists only to appease pro-terrorism Michigan Muslims.

The Biden Administration is reportedly investigating potential war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza, despite public claims to the contrary.

Key Details:

White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters on January 4th, "I'm not aware of any kind of formal assessment being done by the United States government to analyze the compliance with international law by our partner Israel."

Despite Kirby's statement, sources told the Huffington Post that the State Department is probing Israeli actions in Gaza that may have violated international law.

The revelation of these investigations highlights yet another disconnect between the Biden administration's public support for Israel's Gaza campaign and the awareness among foreign policy officials that the policy could be illegal and implicate U.S. officials in war crimes.

Indeed, Biden dispatched a "top advisor" to Michigan to tell Arabs in Michigan that Biden had "made missteps" in supporting our longtime ally Israel in its retributive war against the terrorist group Hamas.

One of President Biden's top advisers told fuming Arab and Muslim American community leaders in Michigan this week that the administration has made "missteps" in its support for Israel's war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

"We are very well aware that we have missteps in the course of responding to this crisis since Oct. 7," Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer said during a Thursday meeting in Dearborn, Mich., with Muslim and Arab Americans, including state and local Democratic elected officials, according to the New York Times.

"We have left a very damaging impression based on what has been a wholly inadequate public accounting for how much the president, the administration and the country values the lives of Palestinians," Finer added.

"And that began, frankly, pretty early in the conflict."

Finer was part of a White House delegation dispatched to Michigan ahead of the state's Feb. 27 Democratic presidential primary, in response to growing hostility toward Biden from Muslim and Arab Americans -- a sizable voting bloc in the Great Lake State -- over his support of Israel's war effort in the aftermath of last October's massacre of 1,200 people in the Jewish state.

Several CBS News reporters were caught up in layoffs at Paramount Global that claimed 800 jobs, including one who is embroiled in a high-stakes First Amendment fight -- and another who has reportedly weathered HR probes over his workplace behavior, The Post has learned.

"Everybody in the newsroom is pissed that [Paramount Global CEO] Bob Bakish is making over $30 million and he's making these cuts," one insider fumed.

Elsewhere, some suspected the layoffs were more than just cost-cutting. Sources said Herridge had clashed with CBS News president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews -- a sharp-elbowed executive who was investigated in 2021 over favoritism and discriminatory hiring and management practices, as revealed by The Post.

Sources said CBS News' Washington bureau, where Herridge covered national security and intelligence, was hit particularly hard.

Among the other Washington casualties, sources said, was CBS News correspondent Jeff Pegues, who had weathered HR probes over his workplace behavior, including an alleged incident in which he dressed down a female colleague in a "20-minute rant."

Pegues is black, which is why this background is relevant. But the NY Post can't just say that.

When the incident was investigated in 2021, insiders said, Ciprian-Matthews -- who insiders have accused of promoting minorities while unfairly sidelining white journalists -- attempted to "blame" the female correspondent and eventually gave Pegues a promotion.

That's despite prior allegations that Pegues had been "lashing out" and "bullying" younger female reporters who "outworked" him, a former CBS manager told The Post.

"She got rid of her enemies under the guise of budget cuts," one source said of Ciprian-Matthews after Tuesday's layoffs. "She cleared the deck and she had to sacrifice some others like Pegues."

WASHINGTON -- A former Biden family business associate-turned-whistleblower alleged in explosive testimony before House impeachment probers Tuesday that the president was "the Brand" being sold by relatives in their lucrative dealings in countries such as China and Ukraine.

Tony Bobulinski -- a former Navy officer who worked with first son Hunter Biden and first brother James on a venture with CEFC China Energy -- is considered one of the Republicans' best hopes of scoring damning new details confirming the president's ties to his relatives' Chinese government-linked relationships.

"For nearly four years, I have tried to tell the American people the truth about serious corruption at the very top of their government," Bobulinski said in opening statements to House probers from both sides of the political aisle in the closed-door session.

"The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period," Bobulinski alleged.

"It is clear to me that Joe Biden was 'the Brand' being sold by the Biden family.

"The Chinese Communist Party through its surrogate, China Energy Company Limited, or 'CEFC' -- a CCP-linked Chinese energy conglomerate -- successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise Joe Biden and the Obama-Biden White House.

"Joe Biden was aware of the CEFC transaction, enabled it, and had a constitutional responsibility and obligation to the American people to shut it down before it began," Bobulinski said.

CEFC, a since-defunct reputed cog in Beijing's "Belt and Road" foreign influence campaign, paid Hunter and James Biden more than $7 million in 2017 and 2018 for largely unknown business services, according to reports from congressional Republicans.

Bobulinski said that the FBI and DOJ were "singularly uninterested" in pursuing the megabytes of information he brought to them. Via Tom Bevan:

Biden attempted to avoid accusations that he was trading on his position as Vice President by delaying payment from the Chinese front group by six weeks, after which he would have left office.

A different former Biden family associate, Rob Walker, testified on Jan. 26 that the Bidens' business relationship with CEFC began in 2015 when Joe Biden was still vice president and that Joe Biden himself attended a meeting at the Four Seasons hotel in or around March 2017 with CEFC chairman Ye Jianming, who has since gone missing in China amid corruption allegations.

Walker disbursed an initial tranche of more than $1 million to the Bidens beginning in March 2017 -- after Joe Biden left office as vice president that January -- and did not dispute in his deposition new evidence of emails in March 2016, while Joe Biden was VP, among himself, Hunter Biden and CEFC officials.

Was an attachment on Hunter Biden's laptop previously inaccessible, but now it has been produced to the House Judiciary Committee by Hunter ex-partner Rob Walker. Shows the relationship with CEFC began during Joe Biden's vice presidency, as Tony Bobulinski always said. It's just that Hunter, Uncle Jim, Hallie Biden and friends didn't get paid until 6 weeks after Joe left office.

But Biden wasn't aware of Hunter's businesses, never spoke to his business partners, and had no awareness of what Hunter was doing at all.
