Yet Another Mentally-Ill Man With an Immense Rap Sheet Pitched Yet Another Law-Abiding Citizen In Front of Yet Another Subway Train

Earlier this month, yet another deranged homeless man with a criminal record as long as the tracks in his arm threw yet another helpless victim in front of the train.

I wanted to write about, but didn't, because it's too ghastly.

It's one thing to die. We all kind we're going to die.

But the woman he threw in front of the train had both of her lower legs severed from her body by the subway's grinding steel wheels.

She lived, but now with her legs severed below the knee.

You will not be surprised to hear that he had frequent encounters with New York City's courts in the past, but was released every time.

A 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of pushing his girlfriend onto the New York City subway tracks causing both her feet to be severed by an incoming train, had been imprisoned for attacking a woman and threatening to hurl her child off a fire escape during a 2017 home invasion, according to police.

Christian Valdez was arrested following the Saturday morning domestic violence attack at the Fulton Street subway station in lower Manhattan, according to the New York Police Department.

Valdez, who listed his address as a women's homeless shelter in Brooklyn, was captured about 9:30 p.m. ET in lower Manhattan, about 11 hours after the subway station attack, according to a police incident report.

"Further investigation determined that the female was pushed onto the tracks by a 35-year-old male after they were engaged in a domestic dispute," according to the NYPD incident report.

The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, according to police.

NYPD officers called to the station found the victim conscious and responsive with injuries to her legs after being struck by the train, police said. Both of her feet had been amputated, police sources said.

That nightmare is not the incident I'm referring to in the headline.

Because another dreg pitched another citizen into the path of an oncoming train just this week.

The unhinged man accused of randomly shoving a straphanger to his death in front of an East Harlem train has a troubled past, including a history of mental illness and a lengthy rap sheet, law enforcement sources said Tuesday.

Oh, he was known to authorities, you say?

Carlton McPherson, 24, of the Bronx, had a warrant out for his arrest in an open Brooklyn assault case at the time of Monday's chilling attack at the East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station -- when cops say he pushed a 54-year-old man onto the tracks.

A northbound 4 train rolling into the station around 7 p.m. was unable to stop in time and fatally struck the man, whose name had not been released pending family notification.

McPherson's most recent arrest before that was in January after he was accused of spitting on a woman on an L train, though that case was sealed, meaning the charges may have been dropped, according to the sources.

"I avoid him," [a neighbor said]. "I want to say I'm surprised -- but I'm not surprised. I don't catch the train. I'm scared for just this reason."

His rap sheet also includes arrests for shoplifting and burglary, including on Sept. 30, when he was allegedly busted rifling through items in an office at the Aqueduct Racetrack, sources said.

John Sexton notes it's been a hell of a week for crime in New York City. Not only was there the nth victim pushed onto the tracks of a subway, but a black man is going around and punching women in the faces or in the back of their skulls without provocation.

Time: Covid Fear-Mongers Feel Ignored by a Public and Even a Biden Government Which Is No Longer Willing to Indulge Their Fascist-Leaning Hypochondria

Then, in 2021, something began to shift. That spring, the CDC said it was okay for vaccinated people to ditch their masks in most places. But people were clearly still getting sick--including Alex, who got COVID-19 for the first time in late 2021 and later developed Long COVID symptoms.

Of course he got "long covid." It just always turns out that the hypochondriacs always suffer from the illnesses that doctors suspect aren't quite real.

"There was this reckoning moment where it was like, 'Maybe the CDC is not being totally honest with us about the situation,' he says. "'Maybe they're trying to present it like we can go back to normal when we can't.'"

You started out strong, then you went off the rails.

She lives in semi-isolation, with only her boyfriend visiting her.

But, she wants the rest of us to live this way. The rest of us who do not have any health conditions making us especially vulnerable to covid.

Mills says she feels abandoned by federal health officials, most recently when they relaxed their COVID-19 isolation guidance in March, even while people like her continue to live in near-total seclusion. "They're supposed to take care of the people," she says. "The fact that they're letting not just disabled people, but people in general, either become disabled or pass away from this virus is very negligent."

So we should all live as if we're in your shoes, Mills? We should all lock ourselves in an apartment so that you can... what? Would you then go out of the apartment?

Maoist students occupied the chancellor's office at Vanderbilt University, angry about the University cancelling a student referendum of BDS demands -- that the school should divest any holdings in Israeli companies, to economically cripple the country and allow Hamas to rape and kill every Jew in the country.

That emergency? She wanted to change her tampon, but she didn't want to leave the office, because she thought she might be arrested.

Her friend called 9-1-1 to demand that they tell cops not to arrest her friend, declaring that she was in imminent danger of TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME for having the same tampon in for the whole day, and that the police's refusal to respect her TAMPON RIGHTS was tantamount to killing her.

Third Democrat Senator Announces "No" Vote on Would-Be First Muslim Appeals Court Judge.

Sen. Jacky Rosen (D., Nev.) on Wednesday became the third Democrat in the Senate to come out against Adeel Mangi, President Joe Biden's controversial nominee to serve as a federal appeals court judge.

Rosen joined Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D., Nev.) and Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) in opposing Mangi, a Muslim-American lawyer and nominee to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, according to NBC News. Mangi is seeking the Senate's confirmation but has faced pushback in recent months from Senate Republicans due to his affiliation with anti-cop and anti-Israel groups.

"Given the concerns I've heard from law enforcement in Nevada, I am not planning to vote to confirm this nominee," Rosen said in a statement Wednesday.

The problem? Mangi pals around with terrorists. But not those terrorists.

No, he pals around with the terrorists Barack Obama pals around with -- the white/Jewish terrorists of the Weather Underground.

"This organization has sponsored a fellowship in the name of Kathy Boudin, a member of the domestic terrorist organization Weather Underground, and advocated for the release of individuals convicted of killing police officers. THE MORNING RANT: Media’s Gotchas on Trump Keep Bringing Coverage to Otherwise Embargoed Stories

While the presidential horserace isn’t my normal lane around here, and even though Donald Trump wasn’t my first choice for the Republican nominee (DeSantis was my guy), I’m going to chime in on something I’m enjoying all over again about the media’s relationship with Trump. In their unhinged desire to politically harm Trump with “fact checks” and wall-to-wall outrage about some “extreme” comment he said, they also end up providing coverage of stories that the Democrats need their media allies not to report on. Here are just two recent examples:

1) The “Bloodbath” Storyline: With almost perfect coordination, pretty much every legacy media source ran headlines hyping Trump’s call for a “bloodbath” if he loses the 2024 election.

Social media and conservative new sites quickly provided an abundance of examples of Democrats and left-wing media members saying the same word, so the outrage quickly fizzled out.

But before “the bloodbath scandal” started fading, it was impossible for media stories and TV panels to completely avoid the context of Trump’s remarks, specifically that those words were spoken while he was condemning the Biden administration for its commitment to destroying the traditional American auto industry with EV mandates.

Here’s just one example from the Washington Post:

“Trump predicts 'bloodbath' if he isn't elected” [Washington Post – 3/18/2024]

At a rally in Ohio on March 16, former president Donald Trump, speaking about his proposal for a tariff on Chinese-made cars, told the crowd: "Now, if I don’t get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole - that's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country."

As terrifying as the headline is, there is no way to cover the story without partially discussing the auto industry angle.

Meanwhile, there seems to be a consensus that Michigan is in play this election. Here are some recent headlines.

In his Super Tuesday victory speech in early March, Donald Trump said the following: “Today it was announced that 325,000 people were flown in from parts unknown - migrants were flown in airplane, not going through borders ... It was unbelievable. I said that must be a mistake. They flew 325,000 migrants. Flew them in over the borders and into our country.”

The Morning Report — 3/29/24

A good Good Friday morning, kids. I'll try to keep this brief as I have an early doctor's appointment. On the next episode of the podcast, which has yet to post, (keep checking the sidebar) CBD and I discussed Trump (what a surprise, eh?) and what really are his chances this November. Over the past six months or so, we have postulated that he must win at least three key swing states and overcome the now institutionalized cheat factor to do so. As an aside, one of those states is my new home state of Wisconsin, and there are two ballot issues in this coming Tuesday's election that neuter dark and out of state money that will or potentially could yield positive results this November if they pass. So get out and vote, my fellow cheesehead Morons.

In any case, CBD and I had been at best not filled with strength and confidence that Trump could pull out the win. That is until now. With everything collapsing in on the Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants junta and unfortunately on top of all of us, even my pessimistic colleague recognized some very intriguing possibilities coming, not just from those key swing states, but from a number of others. Including perhaps the ones with Dearbornistan and Minne-gadishu.

Despite the horrid and unprecedented stabbing in the back of Israel at the UN by abstaining from a Security Council vote demanding an Israeli ceasefire, which means essentially pointing at their neck and telling Hamas to cut along the dotted line, and now reports that Biden is indeed embargoing arms shipments to Israel, the inbred ingrate intifada inciters are apparently not convinced.

Several waves of protesters disrupted President Biden’s grandiose fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall Thursday, where he kicked it with former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to raise cash and enthusiasm for his 2024 re-election bid. 

One demonstrator, a woman blowing a whistle, holding a “war pig” sign and warning of “nuclear war with Russia,” was removed from the lavish New York City event, dubbed by the 81-year-old president as a “grassroots fundraiser.”

The first interruption was quickly followed by booing and whistling and two other waves of protests related to Biden’s support for Israel’s war against Hamas. 

“Shame on you Joe Biden,” one of the anti-Israel demonstrators shouted. Multiple yelled, “Blood on your hands.” The [fraudulent] president asked for the demonstrators being ushered out by security to be “let go.”It did not appear as if they were allowed to stay.

 “No, listen. You can’t talk all the time. Sometimes you have to listen,” Obama said at one point, addressing the interlopers. “You can’t just talk and not listen,” Obama said, addressing the interlopers.

The armchair discussion between the three Democratic commander in chiefs was moderated by the CBS “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.  There were six interruptions total during the Colbert panel. Outside the iconic venue, hundreds of anti-Israel protesters gathered ahead of the star-studded campaign fundraiser as part of a “Flood Manhattan for Gaza” demonstration.

“Free, free Palestine!” the group chanted. Others yelled “F–k Joe Biden” and “Genocide Joe has got to go!” and many waved Palestinian flags and held signs denouncing the president and the Democratic Party as “war criminals.”

Did you catch what Obama said? The chutzpocrisy of that comment coming as it does from that figurative and quite literal sword-swallower is just breathtaking. In any case, there are a number of quite interesting things to unpack about this event. First, despite the fact that Biden and his handlers have all but ordered the US military to attack the IDF in Gaza if not nuke Tel Aviv, you still have these kind of outbursts that are shall we say "less than helpful" in dragging Michigan and Minnesota's Religion of Peace Peaceniks and their Maoist supporters to the polls so they in turn an drag Biden's carcass over the finish line. Do they not realize and or appreciate the magnitude of what that UN abstention means? Perhaps they think it's just a temporary sop to their demands, and given the insanity and clout of Jewish Democrats, perhaps they're not far off the mark.

Still, like the assholes at MSNSDAP going insane over the hiring or Ronna Romney McDaniel who no doubt was eager to join their Greek chorus of Trump bashers, shrieking "Genocide Joe" at a major fundraising event at Radio City Music Hall is an optics disaster, both for normal folks and the Dem commie base.

And speaking of that fundraiser, $500,000 a ticket really does prove Biden to be a man of the people. Plus, you get Clinton and Obama singing his praises. Hell, it's too bad Jimmy Carter is still rehearsing for his date at the Capitol Rotunda. The "Palestinians" just love him!

Thursday turned out to the worst possible day for the Biden campaign to make the candidates' schedules an issue. Why? 

Both Trump and Joe Biden happened to be in New York City on Thursday, but for very different reasons. Trump attended the funeral of a New York City police officer who was shot by a career criminal during a traffic stop on Monday.

“President Trump is moved by the invitation to join NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s family and colleagues as they deal with his senseless and tragic death,” Karoline Leavitt, Trump's campaign spokesperson, said in a statement.

As for Joe Biden, he's holding a campaign fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall with Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and a slate of left-wing celebrities. What's particularly noteworthy is Lizzo's inclusion in the fundraiser, seeing as she is currently facing accusations of sexual harassment and religious and racial discrimination from former backup dancers. 

“It’s shameful that Lizzo would be chosen to headline an event like this amid such egregious allegations,” Ron Zambrano, an attorney for the backup dancers, told NewsNation. “Without getting into the politics, I can’t imagine why anyone would want Lizzo representing them in any way given her reprehensible behavior. It’s just a terrible look.”

Joe Biden has also been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. So, this was terrible timing for the Biden campaign to make an issue of the two candidates' schedules, because Donald Trump clearly had the more noble agenda today.

Trump goes to the funeral of a NYPD cop gunned down by a criminal who was let loose by the Democrats. In the wake of psychos sucker punching random people in the head, shoving them onto subway tracks, rapes, robberies and on and on. Exacerbating this is the criminality that is coming from an completely erased border. Erased intentionally by Joe Biden.

Trump knows it. And everyone else knows it, including a growing segment of Democrat voters, especially blacks and Latinos, who are sick of it. On top of all that, we have propagandists blaming people who are going broke because of Bidenomics and Bidenflation being too stupid to not believe their lying eyes.

All of this is now gold being handed Trump on a silver platter. Can he ride it to victory come November? Well, yesterday he reportedly stated he was in favor of a national abortion ban. Ugh. Someone keep Lindsay Graham the hell away from him!

On a separate note, we discussed the passing and legacy of Sen Joe Lieberman. I had bemoaned the fact that he had remained silent in the wake of the 10/7 attack on Israel but evidently I was wrong about that. Lieberman was always a staunch supporter of Israel, unlike scum apostates such as Schumer and Schiff. I mentioned he was at least you could have a civil debate and discussion about issues with, but I suppose I look back on halcyon days when in point of fact they weren't really all that halcyon at all.

Lieberman for sure was not a psycho Leftist BUT he was and remained a Democrat. A part of the party of slavery, Jim Crow, a tyrannical bureaucratic state antithetical to the founding and Constitution and every other malady, depredation and ill this nation has suffered since Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton in cold blood.

Unlike Schumer et al, despite his party affiliation, he was a good man. But that so good a man could be so blind as to those he chose to associate with is indeed a severe failing. Misplaced ideals, paving stones on the road to hell, etc. I think had he lived, and his death was unexpected owing only to the aftereffects of a recent fall, I cannot see him remaining part of a party that has lain utter waste to our culture, society and government. Hell, what the Democrats are doing to Jews in this country, let alone Israel should be a wake up call to every other Liebermanesque Jew out there, if they still exist. Sad, and I do say RIP.

The Feds Investigated James Biden's Americore Transactions

As is the rule with the Biden Crime Family -- the feds investigated, then decided not to prosecute.

South Florida investigators previously probed transactions tied to Jim Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, as part of a criminal investigation, according to Politico.

The investigators are examining a business deal involving Jim Biden as well as numerous loans issued to Americore -- a failed healthcare company for which Jim Biden used to work as a consultant -- by an investment fund managed by a James Biden associate, according to Politico, which granted its sources anonymity to speak freely about a sensitive subject. A 2022 lawsuit filed in Florida alleges that Michael Lewitt, the money manager running the investment fund that issued the Americore loans, effectively diverted millions of dollars via bogus loans to Americore.

Additionally, George Mesires -- an attorney who has previously worked for Hunter Biden and Jim Biden -- represented the entity lending the money in several of the transactions that are now being examined by federal investigators, according to Politico.

Americore paid James Biden approximately $600,000 in 2018, payments that Jim Biden has described as compensation for work that included arranging the loans, according to Politico. Jim Biden or his wife transferred $200,000 to Joe Biden on the same day in 2018 that Jim Biden received a $200,000 payment from Americore.

Jim Biden is not named as a defendant in the Florida lawsuit, and it is not known if he or his dealings are the direct focus of criminal investigations, according to Politico. The president's brother "is not being investigated by federal law enforcement in Florida or Pennsylvania," Jim Biden's lawyer told Politico via a spokesperson.

Jim Biden, Lewitt and Amer Rustom -- the CEO of a firm called the Platinum Group who purported to have ties to Middle Eastern capital -- worked together to find foreign backers for healthcare ventures including Americore, which was in poor financial condition in the late 2010s, according to Politico. The group especially looked to Qatar as a place where they could find the investment that they were seeking.

The Bidens always go to foreign countries hostile to the US for funding.

The Adams administration launched its program to give prepaid debit cards to New York City migrants this week -- two months after inking a controversial no-bid $53 million contract for the deal.

Staffers with the New Jersey company, Mobility Capital Finance, handed out eight preloaded Mastercards at the Roosevelt Hotel on Monday as part of its pilot program that will expand to 115 cards by next week, according to a City Hall spokesperson.

The court noted that this tends to be the jurisdiction of the federal government.

"The broadest exercise of federal discretion is the Executive's decision not to pursue either civilly or criminally the very noncitizens whom Texas has drawn a bead upon in enacting new state laws. The discretion to pursue these same noncitizens likely lies exclusively with the Executive," Chief Judge Priscilla Richman wrote.

She cited a 2023 U.S. v. Texas case in which the Lone Star State and neighboring Louisiana challenged the Biden Administration's guidelines regarding the arrest and removal of non-citizens, reiterating the authority lies with the Executive Branch.

Federal Appeals Court Rules that Pennsylania Must Verify Signatures for Mail-In Voting

There is no reason to oppose this minor, barely-adequate measure, except to increase voter fraujd.

The U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of signature verification for mail-in voting in Pennsylvania, overturning a previous federal district court ruling. The decision, hailed as a "crucial victory for election integrity" by the Republican National Committee (RNC), was made by a 2-1 majority of Democrat-appointed judges.

The ruling comes after the RNC, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), and the Pennsylvania Republican Party (PAGOP) secured a victory on this issue in front of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in November 2022. However, a federal district court struck down the dated signature requirement in November 2023, leading to the RNC's appeal and the recent 3rd Circuit Court ruling.

"The Pennsylvania General Assembly has decided that mail-in voters must date the declaration on the return envelope of their ballot to make their vote effective," the ruling stated. "The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania unanimously held this ballot-casting rule is mandatory; thus, failure to comply renders a ballot invalid under Pennsylvania law."

Less voter fraud in a swing state is bad for Biden. A Fox News poll finds more bad news for Biden: 38% of voters cannot name a single thing he's accomplished.

Only 22% of voters feel better off now than four years ago, while 52% feel worse off.

The economy receives a negative rating from 73% of respondents, showing slight improvement from last year.

Biden's approval ratings remain low, with 41% approving his overall job performance and 38% approving his handling of the economy.

As usual, the liberal leaning poll conducted and analyzed by a Hillary Clinton donor is better for Biden than most polls.

In a telling assessment of President Joe Biden's tenure, a recent Fox News national survey paints a bleak picture of public sentiment. The poll reveals that only about one in five voters, or 22%, believe they are better off now than they were four years ago. This contrasts sharply with the 52% who feel they are worse off, underscoring widespread economic dissatisfaction.

This sentiment crosses party lines to an extent, with a significant majority of Republicans (72%) and independents (59%) expressing that they are worse off. Even among Democrats, a significant portion either feel the same or worse than four years ago. The economy remains a critical concern, with 73% of respondents rating it negatively, albeit a slight improvement from 83% last May. The negative economic perception is more pronounced among Republicans and independents compared to Democrats.

In terms of the president's accomplishments, the survey brings to light a notable perception gap. When asked to name the administration's achievements without prompts, 38% of voters couldn't think of any or responded negatively. Comparatively, during the Trump administration, 27% had a similar response. The top accomplishments attributed to Biden include handling the economy/jobs (19%), student loan forgiveness (6%), and infrastructure (6%). However, a large segment of voters see his top achievement as "not being Trump" or are unable to name any substantive accomplishments.

Comedian Jon Stewart ranted this week that Donald Trump's civil real-estate case overvaluing his properties was "not victimless," yet when it came to his own home, Stewart benefited from a similar inflation.

On Monday night, Stewart, 61, unpacked Trump's $454 million appeal bond, calling out experts framing the former president's New York civil case as not causing direct harm to any individual.

"The Daily Show" host rolled a clip of CNN's Laura Coates interviewing "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary, who commented that the ruling didn't "go over well" with the real estate industry that was now fretting over the possibility of becoming the next target.

Coates responds to O'Leary by highlighting that Trump was found liable for falsifying business records in the second degree, issuing false financial statements, insurance fraud and conspiracy, all due to asset inflation.

"Everything that you just listed off is done by every real estate developer everywhere on Earth in every city. This has never been prosecuted," O'Leary replied.

In response, Stewart asked: "How is he not this mad about overvaluations in the real world?"

"Because they are not victimless crimes," he said.

To further his point, Stewart argued that "money isn't infinite. A loan that goes to the liar doesn't go to someone who's giving a more honest evaluation. So the system becomes incentivized for corruption."

Stewart also contended that failing to declare a higher market value on a property, while paying taxes based on a lower assessed value, constitutes fraudulent behavior.

"The attorney general of New York knew that Trump's property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties," Stewart added. "It was all part of a very specific real estate practice known as lying."

But it didn't take long for internet sleuths to look into Stewart's own property history, which shows his New York City penthouse sold for 829% more than its assessed value, records confirmed by The Post reveal.

But according to 2013-2014 assessor records obtained by The Post, the property had the estimated market-value at only $1.882 million.

The actual assessor valuation was even lower, at $847,174.

Records also show that Stewart paid significantly lower property taxes, which were calculated based on that assessor valuation price -- precisely what he called Trump out for doing in his Monday monologue.

Because Jon Stewart is an unfunny old liberal high school girl, he reacted the way all aging liberal high school girls do on the internet, with extremely grating and shrieky sarcasm all sporting a shrill exclamation point.

Crypto entrepreneur Sam Bankman-Fried on Thursday was sentenced to 25 years in prison for stealing $8 billion from customers at the failed crypto exchange, FTX.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said that the FTX founder had committed "obstruction of justice," according to NBC News.

Bankman-Fried admitted during his sentencing hearing in New York that he made "selfish decisions" when running the failed crypto exchange.

"They built something really beautiful and I threw all of that away," Bankman-Fried said of his former co-workers at the exchange, according to CNBC News.

Chief Democrat Witness Against Trump in Phony Ukranian Phone Call Impeachment Registers as a Foreign Agent for, Get This, Ukraine

On Thursday, one of the star witnesses in the first failed impeachment of President Donald Trump registered as a foreign agent on behalf of Ukraine and the European Union (EU).


According to the Daily Caller, Gordon Sondland, who served as the U.S. Ambassador to the EU from 2018 to 2020, testified against President Trump in the 2019 impeachment inry. In his testimony before the House of Representatives Select Committee on Intelligence, he claimed with no evidence that President Trump intended to withhold aid to Ukraine unless it re-opened a corruption investigation into the controversial energy company Burisma Holdings, where Joe Biden's son Hunter served on the board.

Sondland registered as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), a law first passed in 1938 dictating how foreign agents and representatives are supposed to lobby American politicians compared to non-foreign lobbyists.

In a statement shortly after his registration was revealed, Sondland tried to justify his decision while also insisting that he did not have any foreign loyalties.

"This term 'Foreign Agent.' It sounds very sinister because that's the way the FARA laws are written," said Sondland. "You're designated as a foreign agent. I'm not an agent of anyone. I haven't been asked by Ukraine or the E.U. to represent them. I'm simply having conversations that everyone has all the time with members of Congress and with members of governments of other countries to try and bridge and divide."

"My allegiance is still 100% to the United States, not to the European Union," Sondland claimed. "Unfortunately, I can't have these conversations without registering."

I'm not a foreign agent, I just have to register as a foreign agent so I can lobby US policymakers on behalf of a foreign country.

When you say there's a "lack of afforable homes," of course you mean a lack of free homes.

John Stossell reports that this epidemic was caused by blue cities passing "tenant protection" laws that forbade property owners from evicting them even if they failed to pay rent for years and years. This law also empowered squatters to just break into homes and declare that they, too, were non-rent-paying tenants with a right to permanently occupy other people's homes.

The situation is so bad in California that vigilante squatter-eviction squads have formed to kick the squatters out. Technically these people are breaking the law, because California law says the squatters are the rightful occupants of the homes they squat in.

Hey Keith Ellison -- maybe we should go after the real criminals, the actual owners of the homes who make their homes too tempting not to steal.

Border Crisis Has Completely Upended Census Bureau's Population Stats, Report Says

Immigration into the U.S. has risen so rapidly that it beat out federal projections by decades, according to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released on Thursday.

The total number of immigrants in the U.S. rose to a record high of 51.4 million as of February 2024, representing 15.5% of the total population,according to CIS. The U.S. Census Bureau published projections in November which estimated that the share of foreign-born nationals in the U.S. would not reach 15.5% until at least 2039, making the projections “obsolete,” CIS authors Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler wrote.

The 15.5% includes both immigrants who are in the U.S. legally and those who are undocumented or are in the country illegally, according to a CIS review of the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS). Illegal migrants account for roughly 25% of the 51.4 million total number of foreign nationals currently living in the U.S., the other 75% being in the country legally.

The issue is not the color of the immigrants. The issue is their lack of dedication to the founding principles of our country. For most of our history, immigration to America was a privilege, and a very difficult one to enjoy. Getting out of Sweden or Germany or Italy or Russia or Poland or Ireland or Scotland was not easy. Getting to our shores was not easy. Creating a life in America was not easy. But it was the great unifier...everyone who came here was sent through that filter, knowing that they were expected to create a life for themselves, and to add value to the growing nation. There were no handouts, not safety nets, no government largesse. But that was the first powerful message that we were all in it together. The upside was that there were no limitations. The young Scottish immigrant who arrived on our shores in 1848 could rise to the pinnacle of the American steel industry. Or a Bavarian Jew arriving in in 1847 could create Levi Strauss. Or a Viennese beauty, with brains to match, could arrive in 1937 and become a movie star and an inventor!

The list goes on forever. We are at least in part a nation of immigrants, but the dynamic has changed, and the drive to come here is purely economic and self-serving in a way that is new and destructive. Instead of desiring the economic, social and political freedom that America offers, our new immigrants come for the money...our money! Legal immigration is a drop in the bucket compared to the flood of illegals pouring into the country. Those legal immigrants are playing by the rules, but many are still arriving for the looting of our treasuries rather than the desire to create...to belong...to build.

What is the answer? Obviously we must close our borders to the lawbreakers who come to loot and pillage. But sadly we must also close the legal methods of becoming an American. That system is broken, and absent a compelling reason, complete with financial resources that guarantee that the immigrant is not a ward of the state, Americas gates must be shut.

For a generation? Probably. Until we have two consecutive conservative federal governments that are serious about closing the border and driving out the invaders by making it economically impossible for them to squat here, we cannot afford the luxury of immigration of any type.

It is a simple task, but requires political fortitude and the support of the country.

1. Close the border.
2. Make the employment of an illegal alien a felony, with jail time and huge fines.
3. Tax outgoing funds to the top 10 countries that supply illegals.
4. Require positive identification for all taxpayer transfer payments and services.

What else? That covers most of the issues. Will there be problems? Sure. But we have no choice.

This is the existential problem of our lifetimes.
