Love this. Waugh really captured the color of an ocean storm, sky and water, and the ever shifting movement of the waves as they approach the shore and recede from the rocks. His style is realistic enough to accurately show the scene but still painterly, leaving room for the viewer's imagination. Don't know about inland folks, but as someone who grew up on a rocky coast it's easy to hear the wind and water of a storm, feel the force of the wind and the salty, moist air.

Of course Red Dwarf is top drawer.
It has a sentient cat as a main character. -------- The Cat actor also played a cop in the black comedy Murder in Paradise and there was one scene where he was getting ready for a big date and he was primping himself in front of the mirror just like the Cat. I had to pause Play for 5 minutes until I could control myself. I explained to my mom watching it with me that the actor had played a very vain character in another comedy and that was how he got ready for a date as well.
